Here I am with another translated chapter!

This chapter will focus on what would be the final fight of this arc, if we talk about the cannon, of course. You will most likely see several changes and style of fights in the Sacred Gears and characters presented in this chapter. This was my idea in order to make the battle system more eye-catching from my point of view. Obviously you may not like it, or you may not like it at all. If so, I will understand it without problems, since everyone has their own tastes about how much or how you can modify certain elements of the original plot.

Having clarified this point, it's time to answer some reviews:

MAX0910: I'm very glad to read that you enjoy the combat scenes, as it's a very necessary point in this story. You'll have more from Ophis in a few chapters. Now the fighting comes first.

Vanhellsing9000: Keep in mind that the first lemon takes place in chapter 79, so they're going to have to put up with that sexual frustration for a good while longer hahaha.

Now it's time to read.

Enjoy!

"Siegfried." Cao Cao called out to his companion as he looked at the unconscious Yasaka, who stood just below the large door that was about to take her life. "Do you really think that poison will keep her unconscious long enough until dawn?"

"No room for doubt." The white-haired man declared, approaching his leader. "It will take her organism at least 8 hours to recover. Until then, I doubt she will be able to regain consciousness. Even if she does, she won't be able to move a muscle."

"That's good to know." Cao Cao nodded to his companion, then looked at the other two people who were accompanying him. "Jeanne, Leonardo." He called out to them, perching next to them both. "Only an hour to go, so be prepared for any intervention..." The man didn't finish his sentence as he heard several footsteps approach their position.

"Speaking of said interruption..." Jeanne stated, walking to the front along with her companions as they summoned their Sacred Gears.

"Hey, you guys got here a lot earlier than we thought." Azazel's voice echoed through the rocky site as he came face to face with Cao Cao.

"I expected to see you here, but I can't say the same for those two." The Leader of Heroes declared with a smile as he eyed the aforementioned two.

"This is what must be done when you have an alliance to maintain." Dulio stated with some grace as he posed in front of Jeanne.

"I will pray that this conflict looms as quickly as possible!" Gabriel clasped both her hands together with a childlike aura about her as she landed face to face with Siegfried.

"We have to fight a child?" Rossweisse was somewhat reluctant as she looked at Leonardo.

"Don't underestimate me, miss." They were the first and only words heard from the brunet in the entire fight.

Azazel folded his arms, delivering a sly smile to Cao Cao.

"What do you say we get started at once, hero?"

CHAPTER 57: BATTLE FOR THE YOKAIS!

When you participate in a party, it is always to have fun, to spend time with your friends, or, in the last case, you use it to forget. It could even be a mixture of all three.

But Tiamat didn't think the same way, and that was more than evident.

The dragon was sitting on one of the chairs in the corner of the large discotheque she had gone to with Ophis. The woman looked visibly bored as she recalled the countless times she had to reject lustful men who wanted to make her theirs even on the same dance floor. In fact, she remembered quite clearly how she almost killed one for the simple fact that he had touched her ass. The truth was that perhaps she wasn't very aware of where she was either, after all, she was a woman who was alone, and she was also really beautiful, a beauty that stood out completely, and her white dress gave her that aura of a serious woman, something that didn't help much either.

Could be said that she stood out much more than Ophis herself, since she...

Well...

The reasons were self-evident...

"I only came here at her request so she can deal with her problems with the hustle and bustle..." Thought the dragoness as she watched an Ophis who was in a kitty pajama dress as she grabbed different treats from the tables with a quickness worthy of a feline. "She's coping much better than I expected. Maybe it's the fact that all that food is keeping her entertained." She concluded in her thoughts unable to help but smile as she noticed the notoriously childish appearance the Goddess had.

She had even told her that she couldn't go in that dress to a convention like this, but Ophis disregarded her warnings.

"Are you alone, cutie?" Tiamat couldn't help but roll her eyes as she saw that yet another man had taken a seat next to her.

"Since the night was almost over, I figured I shouldn't deal with another jerk anymore." The dragoness thought with clear irritation.

Her gaze lifted, obliviously ignoring the impatient man who was waiting for an answer.

"I wonder if things over there are more fun..."

"What's taking you so long, darkie!" Jeanne couldn't help but shout as she was mounted on a dragon made of sacred swords.

Leonardo just frowned in response, making it clear that he still needed more time. The boy was sitting in the lotus position with his eyes closed, as if he was projecting something in his mind that was taking all his attention.

"This is a horror!" Jeanne complained again as she held onto her dragon in a rather comical manner as it was attacked by various magical spheres.

"DRAGON SHOT!"

Jeanne's eyes widened and Leonardo's frown deepened as they noticed a huge blast of energy heading straight for them.

The dragon moved as fast as it could, but still its rear end took the attack, ripping half of its body off.

"Prepare for crash landing!" Jeanne exclaimed as Leonardo's eyes widened as he noticed they were descending at a great speed.

The huge dragon embedded itself against the rocky ground, creating a large cloud of dust.

"This attack is quite interesting, I think I'm going to use it more often." Azazel thought aloud as he looked at the golden armor he was wearing.

"That Sacred Gear is on fire!" Dulio exclaimed, who was following quite closely behind him.

"You think so? I've been upgrading it lately and I think it's already at its maximum capacity..." Just at that moment, a large number of monsters jumped out of the dust cloud straight towards a distracted Azazel.

"Watch out!" The blond exclaimed, raising his palm as an object on his neck glowed.

Azazel turned his gaze in slight surprise, seeing how all the monsters had completely frozen in mid-air.

"While I like to talk too, it's not a good idea to get distracted in the middle of a fight." The Angel declared, then closed his palm with great force.

In an instant, all those monsters exploded into a thousand pieces.

"Siegfried, stay alert. We are in her territory." Cao Cao declared, looking everywhere in search of a certain Valkyrie, as they were in a place where everything was completely covered with ice stakes reaching up to the sky.

"From what I understand, she is the future Queen Valkyrie. Even the two of us fighting together can't be trusted." The white-haired man declared, knowing about the potential Rossweisse had.

Siegfried's eyes immediately raised, an arm appeared at his back wielding a sword of light. The man began to wave his three swords in a frenzied manner to destroy all the ice spears heading straight for his position.

"From above!" shouted Cao Cao, making out a huge pillar of ice that reached up to the sky, where Rossweisse was standing and kept throwing her spears.

Rossweisse pursed her lips as she suddenly created gigantic ice stakes that headed straight for them.

Siegfried could only widen her eyes at what she witnessed, but that was not the case with Cao Cao.

The man quickly pushed his companion away as he placed the spear to block the attack. In any case, everyone would say it was impossible to stop something like that.

The huge stakes impacted against the two enemies, or so it had first appeared.

The stakes suddenly turned to ice dust when they came into contact with the spear, an act that made Rossweisse's eyes widen in disbelief.

Jeanne was running at high speed as she was carrying Leonardo, who was still meditating.

"Aren't you ready yet, little buddy?!" She couldn't help but grit her teeth as she barely dodged an invisible force that managed to capture her sword.

The blonde took another great sideways leap to dodge another magical attack directed by Dulio, saving herself by a miracle.

"DRAGON SHOT!"

The golden attack was aimed directly at Jeanne, causing her eyes to widen to the max.

Just at that instant, Leonardo's eyes snapped open.

Both Dulio and Azazel watched calmly as they apparently finished off their enemies.

Those relaxed looks changed drastically when they heard a voice coming from the dust.

"Bandersnatch, attack."

Both of their eyes widened to inordinate levels as they saw 12 monsters about 100 meters tall come out of the dust curtain directly to attack them while a large number of smaller monsters kept pouring out of their bodies.

"DRAGON SHOT!"

The golden attack headed straight for the monsters, completely eradicating them. But that wasn't enough, as there were too many of them and they were everywhere.

The Bandersnatch threw themselves on the two as well as the other monsters with the intention of crushing them, causing a huge tremor to be felt throughout the place.

"I guess that will be enough..." Jeanne commented with a smile as she watched the monsters remain completely motionless.

Leonardo simply nodded at the statement.

"Probably the 6-arms and our leader need some help. It would be a good idea to move all your monsters with my holy dragon..." Jeanne's words trailed off as she could see the confused look on the brunet's face. "What's wrong?"

"They're not moving." Was all Leonardo said.

"DRAGON SHOT!"

Just at that instant, a huge magical attack tore through a large portion of the monsters and headed straight for the duo, getting Leonardo to blink in shock.

"STAKE VICTIM DRAGON!"

The huge sacred sword dragon materialized again right in front of them, producing a huge burst of energy throughout the place.

"Hey, I'll need you to help me get her down from there." Cao Cao declared as he ran at high speed alongside Siegfried, as numerous ice attacks kept falling right behind them. "I'll take care of the rest."

"Very well." The white-haired man nodded. "Time to counterattack." He said, stopping dead in his tracks as his body began to glow.

"¡CHAOS EDGE ASURA RAVAGE!"

The single arm on his back multiplied up to three times, making each of them hold a sword. On top of that, the increase in his power could be felt very easily.

Siegfried flexed his legs, creating a small crater just below his feet. The man took a great leap, beginning to spin on himself at an impressive speed, becoming a sort of living chainsaw.

Rossweisse's eyes widened in complete surprise as he lost his balance, the pillar having been sliced in two like it was nothing by Siegfried.

"Gotcha." Cao Cao thought with a feral grin at the same time as his spear glowed with a breathtaking intensity.

Just before he could throw such an attack, his eyes widened in utter disbelief as he felt his arm freeze and impede his movement. His gaze automatically locked on Rossweisse, watching as the woman had one of her hands outstretched as her pillar crumbled.

It was surprising, as the Valkyrie had found enough temperance to stop him in a not at all favorable condition.

Cao Cao was again surprised as another large magical attack hit him squarely, creating a large cloud of dust on the spot.

Rossweisse flexed her body in a masterful manner in order to dodge a Bandersnatch that was going directly to attack her. She created a large path of ice with which to slide with as she turned her gaze, unable to help but feel somewhat overwhelmed as she watched another 11 giant monsters head straight for her position.

"Gotcha!"

A dome of impressive dimensions trapped all the monsters inside.

Cao Cao stepped out of the curtain of dust, only to watch that great event with wide eyes.

"A dimensional prison?" Was all he could think, only to see that dome disappear, revealing that all the Bandersnatch were maimed.

"What do we do?" Siegfried asked, coming to his side.

"Meet up with Jeanne and Leonardo. This turned out to be more complicated than expected." Clarified the man with great seriousness.

"I finally got to make my big appearance!" Gabriel exclaimed with great joy as she perched next to Rossweisse. "By the way, your skills are amazing!"

"Uh, thanks..." Was all the Valkyrie could manage to say as she sweated a bead of sweat. "I'd like to keep helping, but the reality is that I don't have much magic power left. Those two really made it difficult for me."

"If you're feeling tired, leave it all to Gabriel." The Angel replied with a beautiful smile.

"No, I can still do one last thing. I'll just ask everyone to fly high." Gabriel couldn't help but look at the Valkyrie with great curiosity after hearing those words.

"Why are they flying away?" Jeanne couldn't help but wonder, watching as the two men began to fly high.

Rossweisse gave a great sigh. Her body began to be surrounded by an icy air.

Her eyes snapped open, so that she then plunged her hand into the ground.

"ICE FOREST!"

Jeanne's body was completely torn apart as a huge spiky ice tree sprang up right where she was standing, causing Leonardo's eyes to widen in horror.

Just before he could suffer the same fate, Siegfried arrived to rescue him from branches that were expanding in his direction.

A large number of trees and roots sprang up all over the combat zone, lying at the feet of a Yasaka, who still remained unconscious.

The icy wind began to blow through the trees while Azazel and Dulio watched the scene in complete silence. In other words, they did not want to admit that they had been amazed at the sight.

"So that was their plan..." Thought Cao Cao, who had his upper body exposed because of a branch that had torn his clothes. "Quite interesting." He concluded, then smiled.

Azazel and Dulio were able to witness how a part of the ice forest was completely cut off. Just as they were about to head in that direction, they stopped dead in their tracks as they saw a monster about 200 meters tall rise up, smashing everything in its path.

"Are they still alive?" Azazel couldn't help but sweat at the persistence of his two enemies.

"There's one." Dulio pointed to the monster's head, noticing a white-colored scalp. "Most likely the other one is inside that thing."

"So..." Azazel couldn't help but smirk, getting the Angel to look at him quizzically. "I guess there's no better time than now to test the Balance Breaker on this toy."

Just as he mentioned such a thing, the monster's mouth opened, beginning to create a large sphere of magical power.

"If that plan is magnificent, you'd better use it now." Dulio declared. His typical joking attitude had completely disappeared after witnessing the attack that would probably destroy the whole place.

"I have everything under control, I think." Declared the Cadre as he clenched his fists tightly, causing his golden armor to begin to glow.

The massive magical attack blasted out of the colossus' mouth, giving off a sound that would make anyone shudder.

Siegfried could not help but smile as he witnessed how the attack had hit them squarely, although that smile disappeared when he noticed how a golden glow spread throughout the place, stopping the attack in its tracks.

Soon after, the monster closed its mouth, making the beam evaporate completely, leaving a large trail of smoke.

"What the hell was that all about?" Was all the white-haired man could think as he covered his face from the annoying cloud of smoke that was all over the battlefield.

"Those damn roots just keep growing." Cao Cao thought through gritted teeth. He was using his utmost concentration to dodge all the ramifications that kept on growing, so he couldn't focus on anything else.

"Found you!" Cao Cao's eyes slowly widened after hearing the voice just as he felt a presence land behind him.

A small golden dome appeared out of nowhere, enclosing both of them inside it.

Cao Cao looked from side to side, noticing that the place was like some kind of incredibly small planet. The man delivered a heavy blow with his spear to the invisible wall, causing him to be shocked when his arm was completely immobilized by a deep gash that sliced his bone from his hand to his shoulder.

"Don't even try." Cao Cao focused his gaze straight ahead as he grabbed his disabled arm. "You do not possess enough power to break my dimension." She culminated, managing to make the man smile.

"And I guess if I kill you I'd be locked up forever, so that's not a solution either." He commented, earning a smile from the woman.

"I see you catch on fast!" She clapped her typical childish smile.

"Actually, I'm quite stubborn." The man stated graciously as he poured a phoenix tear over his arm to heal it.

"By the way, why did you eliminate the Phoenix Family?" the Angel asked, tilting her head slightly.

"That was our first target. They administered a great life-sustaining commodity such as phoenix tears, something we needed to eliminate from the market so that the job of exterminating supernatural beings would be much easier." Was the reply from the man, who was waving his newly recovered arm.

"But didn't the hero affiliation work for Christianity?" The woman couldn't help but look at him with great strangeness. "From what I understand, you and your group have killed many angels."

"Our vision was wrong." Was the quick reply of Cao Cao, who fixed his gaze on the woman with absolute seriousness. "After the Holy War, everything became quite clear. You had engaged in a foolish quarrel without regard for humans. That made me realize that humans should work only for themselves."

"Wuuh!" Gabriel complained with a little pout. "You're quite an overbearing young man to have never lived through that bitter time."

"I didn't need to live through that era, history says it all." Cao Cao gave her a feral grin as a great glow adorned him all over, causing different orbs to begin to emerge from his spear and burrow into it. "I have been entrusted with this power so that history may pass into myth, as it always should have been." Gabriel's eyes widened slightly as she saw an aura begin to surround the blade of the spear.

Cao Cao placed one leg behind the other, then flexed his spear backwards.

"That will come with the extinction of all of you beings who only destroy mercilessly on a mere whim."

Siegfried's vision began to become more and more visible, until at last he was able to remove his arm from his face.

At that moment, his eyes could not credit what they saw.

Right in front of him was a huge golden dragon that was almost as big as the colossal monster he was riding.

And worst of all, was that huge sphere in its gaping snout.

"DRAGON SHOT!"

The huge sphere expanded everywhere, generating an unprecedented explosion that completely covered the entire area. Siegfried's figure disappeared into the enormous energy as he screamed in pain.

A huge explosion rose over the entire site, causing the vast majority of the ice forest to end up inside that huge dome of light that was consuming everything in its path.

Cao Cao raised his spear into the air, getting a huge stream of energy to completely surround it.

"DIVERGENT WAVE!"

Gabriel's eyes widened to their widest after feeling a part of her neck being sliced from side to side. The dome gave way to the magical wave as it impacted against that, splitting in two.

"What the hell did they do?" Rossweisse couldn't help but roll her eyes as she noticed the whole place had been left a complete mess.

She took a couple of steps, only to be startled when two people emerged from the ashes.

"That was crazy dude!" Dulio exclaimed with great energy as he helped Azazel to stand up. "Can you do it again?!"

"Damn brat!" Azazel exclaimed with a bead of sweat. "Do you think I have infinite magic?"

That conversation was interrupted when two monsters tried to attack Rossweisse, being stopped by Dulio, who used his Sacred Gear.

The three looked to the side, denoting a rather injured brunet who disappeared through a magic circle.

"How was he able to survive that?" Dulio asked with wide eyes.

"Being inside the monster for sure he was able to withstand much of the impact." Azazel deduced, staggering slightly.

"Are you all right?" The Valkyrie asked with great concern.

"A little tired, that's all." Affirmed the Cadre, who averted his gaze to a particular point. "Time is running out. We must remove Yasaka from that place before it's too late."

The three subjects flew slowly towards the target, as they were all really tired, except for Dulio who seemed to be moderately well.

"What happened to Gabriel?" Rossweisse couldn't help but ask with some doubt and concern in her words.

"She's fine." Azazel replied. "Surely she must be holding Cao Cao back until we release Ayaka."

The three individuals perched a few feet from the massive door, witnessing it for a few seconds.

"Well, it's time to end this." Azazel declared, approaching at a slow pace along with the others.

"By the way, what happened to Issei and Penemue?" Rossweisse asked with great hesitation. "They said they would be here an hour before sunrise."

"Knowing those two, I'm sure they went overboard with the training and..." Azazel could not finish speaking, as a figure landed in front of the three.

"Don't take another step, or she dies." Cao Cao reasserted the spear against the bleeding neck of an unconscious Gabriel who was at death's door.

"Gabriel!" Azazel shouted in desperation, but was stopped by Dulio and Rossweisse.

"Not a good idea." Was the blond's neutral comment.

"What do you want?" Rossweisse asked him, earning a smile from Cao Cao.

"I just wish they'd stay right there. After all..." The man turned his gaze, noticing that the sun's rays were beginning to emerge. "Only a few seconds left."

Everyone stood completely transfixed as they watched the sun begin to peek out.

Cao Cao's eyes widened in an overdrive, then threw the Angel with great force.

At this, the three of them had to catch her together. Their gazes lifted, only to witness in horror as the man waved a great wave of magical energy against them.

"Die!" Roared the man in a great rage.

The attack was directed at a speed that no one could follow, except for the blurry figures that landed in front of the attack.

Everyone's eyes widened in shock as they noticed the huge curtain of dust that expanded between them.

"What was that?" Cao Cao couldn't help but wonder, clutching his spear even tighter.

Rossweisse watched the figures slowly become more and more visible, managing to make her mouth drop open without her consent.

"We are sorry for the delay. We overdid our training a bit yesterday and went to bed very late."

A woman's light tone echoed in the area. Her pale complexion was accompanied by her blood-covered secretary's robes slowly being revealed, as was the somewhat battered figure perched beside her, who wore no shirt.

Cao Cao's eyes widened after noticing that said woman was carrying someone on her shoulders.

"Impossible!" The man turned his face, seeing that Yasaka was no longer in her original position. "How could she have moved so fast?!"

"It's Issei and Penemue!" Rossweisse exclaimed with uncontainable joy.

"Apparently, we arrived just in time for you to take on the stronger one." The Cadre declared, fixing her gaze on a very serious and changed Issei, as the various scars on his torso made him look very different.

Penemue gave him a small smile, as she had noticed Issei's impatience to fight.

"Will that be enough for you?"

END OF CHAPTER!

A somewhat shorter chapter than usual. I promise to bring the next one in a day or two.

I hope you enjoyed the chapter and this battle.

Thank you very much for reading!
