Sorry for the delay. I was much more focused on updating other things and time took its toll on me.

Now the battle between the Dragon Gods will be closed. I hope you enjoy this final battle, since I personally think it's one of the two most important battles of this story (I think Thor's battle can also be classified as one of the most important, especially for everything it meant).

_ CHAPTER 90: THE TRUE DRAGON OF THE APOCALYPSE! _

"Apparently, you've gotten a little faster." Trihexa stated as she turned her face, watching as Issei was carrying the two Dragon Gods on his shoulders.

Issei said nothing about it, just watched her with a vacant expression that was reflected in his eye that wasn't covered by his hair, emitting a very unique crimson aura.

Meanwhile, Ophis and Great Red could only stand with their eyes as wide as saucers, as they hadn't understood anything of what had just happened.

"Apparently, you don't want to delay our deaths anymore. I thought you were having fun." Issei commented with that neutral, relaxed expression, letting go of Ophis and Great Red, who landed behind him.

"The Dimension is on the verge of collapse, as those who hold the seal are depleting at a great rate. My main idea was not only to have fun with you, but also to kill time until the seal is finally broken." Trihexa clarified with her typical smile, only to have her expression turn to a slightly more macabre one. "That means that currently they are no longer of any use to me."

"That means we have little time..." Issei observed the dimension, noticing different alterations, though they were barely noticeable. "Is that true?" Issei turned his face to fix his gaze on Ophis and Great Red, who were still completely stunned.

"I guess we have about 10 minutes." Great Red replied, who seemed to come out of his surprise a bit after Issei's question.

"10 minutes..." Issei turned his gaze back to the front. "That's more than enough." He concluded, causing Trihexa's eyebrows to furrow for a short second.

"It's true that you've gotten a little faster, but don't think that will be enough to defeat me." The woman clarified, noticing the relaxed look Issei's one visible eye gave off.

"If she says that, it's because even she couldn't follow Issei's movement clearly." Ophis thought, fixing her gaze on Issei's back, seeing that his body had no wounds. "But I can't blame her, it was impossible to see clearly at that moment, even though we could feel it."

"Issei didn't just increase his speed." Great Red followed Ophis' thoughts, causing his teeth to clench in disbelief. "He took a large part of the blast to protect us, and yet his body suffered no scratches."

Issei looked at the two of them again for a short second, as if thinking something over. Finally, his gaze returned to the front, fixing his calm and serious gaze on Trihexa, who looked somewhat impatient.

"I guess, if you don't allow them to move, then we'll move out of the way." Issei commented as if it was nothing, earning a curious look from Trihexa.

"And who said I would agree to that?" The woman asked him with a feral grin, though Issei didn't even flinch.

All he did was extend his hand to the front, and a second later, his katana was summoned before everyone's gaze. It was for a short second, but the distinct sound of the hand tightening its grip on the hilt was heard just as Issei flexed his sword backwards.

And finally, his answer came in a completely unexpected way.

"And who said I needed your approval?"

Issei waved the katana to the front with great force, creating a huge gust of wind and extremely powerful magic that took Trihexa completely by surprise, who was soon flying away at an unheard of speed due to the incredible force and acceleration of the attack.

Trihexa's expression was a delight, as she was still very impressed even at the moment the attack exploded, generating a huge cloud of smoke all over the place. This cloud disappeared in a matter of seconds, a product of the same woman who had been trapped by the attack.

Trihexa observed the magic sword, or rather, the arm that was in charge of holding it. Her typical smile was completely gone, as the recent attack had caused small wounds along much of her body.

"Apparently, you have not only become faster. Your overall power has increased considerably." Trihexa accepted the facts as she refocused her gaze on Issei, who was hovering several meters away from the woman.

"You'd better not hold back from now on." Issei clarified, opting for a completely normal pose, so he was covered in blind spots.

"Hold back?" Trihexa giggled for several seconds as a monstrous aura began to surround her. "I recently told you about my idea to end this once and for all, so of course I won't." The woman concluded, then disappeared through a burst of speed, appearing just above Issei's unprotected back.

The woman's smile widened somewhat sickeningly as she waved her magic sword over his back to cleave him in two, while Issei remained completely motionless.

Finally, a great flash of light and the sound of screeching metal was followed by a devastating shockwave that shook the entire dimension.

Issei looked over his shoulders slowly, watching carefully as he had crossed his katana over his back to stop the attack in its tracks, using only one hand.

"Unbelievable!" Trihexa shouted with great excitement as she disappeared again, this time appearing in front of him with the same intention to cut him in two.

Issei followed his speed with a great reaction as he crossed his katana with the enemy sword, generating another devastating shockwave that distorted the dimension for moments due to the great amount of force they were using in their attacks.

The performance continued for a great number of attempts, getting the same devastating result over and over again.

"Amazing!" Shouted the woman once again as she landed on Issei's back, who took no more than a second to turn around to counter the attack.

The great steady clash between the weapons echoed throughout the space they were in, making distortions and small cracks more visible in that place.

"It's just awesome!" She exclaimed once more, generating one last clash much more powerful than the previous one, so she was forced to move a little away by the great shockwave that swept over her.

The woman's smile widened greatly, not paying attention to the fact that Issei was actually very relaxed despite the fact that she was using all her strength in each of the attacks.

Trihexa began to laugh in a terrifying manner at the same time as she approached at a great speed with her weapon raised.

"IF IT WASN'T FOR THAT KATANA, YOU WOULD HAVE BEEN DEAD A LONG TIME AGO!"

Those words caused Issei's calm expression to change to a frown that lasted only a short second.

"It's true that this katana is impressive..." Issei commented, at the same time raising his bare hand.

Trihexa's sword was caught between his fingers, causing the whole place to rumble with great force.

"But it is of no use if its bearer is mediocre." He concluded, noting how Trihexa's smile had completely disappeared from her face.

"Only with his hand...?!" Thought the woman with a look covered in shock and disbelief.

The woman tried to recover from her daze as she wanted to break away from Issei, but quickly realized that she couldn't move her weapon an inch, so cold sweat began to break out on her face.

Trihexa gritted her teeth with great force as she gripped the hilt with both hands, generating a huge whirlwind of silver energy that swirled between them from the sheer amount of force she was using.

"URRRGGGGGHHH!" Trihexa couldn't hold back her grunts of frustration as she saw that the sword wasn't moving an inch, until that is...

The whirlwind of energy turned into a loud bang as the two finally separated. Trihexa brought her stupefied gaze to the sword, or rather, what was left of it, as Issei had shattered the blade with his hand.

Trihexa turned her gaze back to Issei, and couldn't help but grit her teeth angrily as she watched the protagonist open his hand to drop the small magical particles from what was once her weapon.

"How can it make such a difference just because that gem appeared in your chest? What kind of strange power do you possess?" The woman asked with slight anger. "Actually, I don't care..." She added practically instantly, so her smile soon returned to her face as she raised both of her hands, beginning to create a large sphere covered in power as the aura around her became much brighter. "Because I will end you right now!"

Issei simply stood silently, watching as the large sphere kept growing until it was twice as big as the woman. At a glance it could be seen that the attack was truly destructive, as the dimension was undergoing a great distortion around her.

Trihexa's eyes contracted for a short second, and right after that she brought both hands down in one swift motion.

"ZENMETSU!"

The huge sphere was shot out at a great speed before Issei's relaxed gaze that didn't change at any moment.

Just as the powerful attack was about to hit him, Issei clutched his hand on the katana tightly, then delivered a strong slash to the front that cut the attack in two and made it vanish practically instantly.

Trihexa could do nothing but blink in complete shock as she watched all the particles fall like rain.

"Now..." Issei swung his katana in one swift motion, opting for an offensive pose.

"It's my turn."

Trihexa's eyes trembled like never before the moment a large amount of blood shot out of her chest. The culprit was in front of her, who had his katana raised after slashing at her and moving at a speed that even she herself couldn't comprehend.

Being so stunned by everything that happened, Trihexa didn't even react when he used his bare hand to give her a strong blow in the belly that generated a shockwave never seen before, so she was sent flying at a great speed until she finally hit the last rubble that was still in that place.

The cracks in the rubble glowed brightly, only to be followed by a gigantic explosion that completely destroyed it.

Trihexa emerged from the dust with an unfriendly look on her face as she held her bleeding chest. Her eyes instantly focused on Issei, who was already a few meters away from her, watching her seriously.

Finally, silence fell between the two of them and Trihexa's fury was present when she saw a half-smile emerge from Issei's face.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

The Dragon Goddess shouted with unbridled anger as she created a myriad of magic circles, delivering a barrage of attacks to her target. The silver light blinded much of the site, generating numerous rumbles and explosions.

The flurry of attacks stopped after several seconds. The magic circles disappeared and Trihexa looked somewhat agitated at the great cloud of smoke that she herself had created.

Her agitated breathing was abruptly cut short when the dust revealed the figure of Issei, who had not even received a scratch.

Issei raised his katana once more, and the aura around him became much larger at that precise moment.

The protagonist waved the katana forcefully, creating an air current so powerful that it knocked back Trihexa herself, who had only been able to cross her arms in X at such an act. She somersaulted over herself to rejoin, and her labored breathing returned to her as she focused her gaze on Issei once more.

"I don't understand..." She thought in complete shock as she cupped the wound on her chest with one hand. "Why is he so strong, where does that power come from?"

Issei disappeared in a mere blink of an eye, and Trihexa only had time to widen her eyes in unparalleled stupor as he appeared in front of her to deliver a hard punch to her chin that sent her flying.

The woman somersaulted several times in the air to get back on her feet, but it was too late. Issei was already in front of her to deliver a strong blow to her cheek that made her spit out a lot of blood. And as if she hadn't had enough, Issei instantly followed her to catch her in mid-air with a hard knee to her back, causing the woman to give a loud scream choked with pain.

"Damn...!" She barely got a word out as she tried to counter with two strong punches, but Issei caught one of her hands and covered the other attack with the forearm of his other arm, making the woman's teeth clench even harder.

The Dragon Goddess's attacks continued at a completely imperceptible speed, causing the silver and dark aura to begin to collide with each other as they slowly rose, generating small but very powerful shockwaves.

But if Trihexa's attacks had an imperceptible speed, the reality is that Issei's movements were even at a higher level, as he was dodging and blocking all the attacks without showing any kind of difficulty.

Finally, Issei counterattacked at a mind-blowing speed, delivering a strong blow to her abdomen that made her spit some blood, with the bonus that she was separated a couple of meters.

Trihexa steadied herself as best she could, her gaze never taking her eyes off Issei at any moment.

A few seconds passed, and awkward silence settled into the atmosphere, only being interrupted by Trihexa's constant panting.

Issei shifted his katana slightly under the watchful eye of his opponent, though all he did was summon a magic circle to place it in its fonda.

"Are you saying you don't need your weapon to defeat me?" Trihexa instantly found the hidden meaning Issei's action had presented, and she certainly hadn't liked it.

The woman's eyebrows contracted from one second to the next as she materialized a magical sword that was surrounded by powerful magic in a matter of a second.

"ZENMETSU!"

The extremely dangerous cutting blast traveled the trajectory between her and her opponent in milliseconds, so it was impossible to distinguish what exactly happened.

Although there was one person who had been able to see that attack without any problem.

"It can't be!" Trihexa exclaimed with wide eyes, as the attack had pierced Issei, though it hadn't split him in half.

Simply put, he had moved at such superlative speed that she couldn't even process.

"ZENMETSU!"

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGHHHHH!"

Trihexa growled in great rage as she watched each of her attacks fail to do any kind of damage to her target, until finally it happened...

"I HIT HIM!" The woman shouted through gritted teeth as she watched Issei's neck get hit by her last attack, generating a huge pop in the surroundings.

Issei's eyes slowly opened as a small mark appeared all along his neck, causing Trihexa's eyes to widen beyond belief.

"But-but how on earth is that possible?! Who the hell are you?!" The dragoness exclaimed with her body trembling in stupor, showing herself completely reluctant to everything that was happening.

"I am the True Dragon of the Apocalypse." Issei answered her, causing Trihexa to look at him shakily. "And if there's something that really bothers me..." The aura around Issei went completely crazy as his fist and teeth clenched tightly.

"IS YOU HURTING THE WOMEN I LOVE!"

Issei's shout of rage was followed by a great burst of power as he moved at extreme speed, delivering a hard knee to her belly that made her vomit a large amount of blood.

"I'M NOT GOING TO FORGIVE YOU!"

Trihexa gave a great scream of pain when Issei joined his two hands to give her a blunt blow on her back that generated a great shockwave, sending her several meters down.

Trihexa was barely able to recompose herself in midair, and only served to watch in horror as Issei was already in front of her, so she didn't hesitate to fly as fast as possible to get away from him, but even so Issei was able to follow her without any trouble at all.

"AAARGHHH!" Trihexa screamed in pain as she received a strong kick that sent her upwards.

"Stop..." Trihexa whispered through gritted teeth, stopping abruptly as she created a huge barrier.

"YOU INSOLENT LITTLE WORM!"

Issei's eyes widened in surprise as the barrier shot towards him. The movement was so fast and unplanned that he couldn't avoid being hit and dragged by the barrier several meters.

"I'VE HAD ENOUGH OF THIS!" The woman exclaimed in a great rage, watching as Issei landed several meters away.

"IF THAT GEM WAS ABLE TO GIVE YOU SO MUCH POWER...!" Trihexa's gritted teeth turned into a psychotic grin as she materialized the gem she had previously stolen from Issei's armor.

"THEN IT'LL GIVE THAT TO ME TOO!"

Issei couldn't help but blink in great surprise as the woman embedded half of the gem in her chest, causing a large amount of blood to spurt out of her body.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHH!"

"BOOST!"

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

In enormous burst of power shook the entire dimension that was presented by a reddish and silvery light, generating a huge commotion that lasted a few seconds.

Issei slowly uncovered his face, observing carefully how several veins had been marked on the woman's body, making it quite clear that her body was being demanded beyond the limit.

Even so, the price to pay was little as the great increase in power she had received was felt, and Trihexa knew this very well.

It was for that very reason that her usual smile had soon returned to her face, being accompanied by a somewhat devilish chuckle.

"Now we're balanced." She stated, watching as Issei watched her seriously as his aura began to slowly grow larger.

"Are you sure about that?" Issei gave her a faint smile, managing to make the woman's eyebrows twitch for a short second.

"If you don't believe me..." Trihexa commented, widening her smile slightly.

The Goddess suddenly disappeared and appeared in front of Issei. The whole place shook violently as her fist embedded itself into Issei's abdomen, causing Issei to spit blood.

"Let me prove it to you!" She exclaimed with a feral grin at the same time she grabbed his face with both hands to deliver a hard knee that stunned him a bit.

Trihexa didn't stop there as she instantly followed him to grab him by the hair. The woman began to spin around at a high speed, then let go of Issei with the eagerness to send him flying, something that worked. Although Issei was able to recompose himself almost instantly, he could not avoid receiving a double kick on his back. Issei got back on his feet in a second, but Trihexa was already in front of him to give him a great rain of blows that made the whole dimension rumble.

The barrage of blows continued for several seconds, until Trihexa capped it off with a hard knee to the belly, causing Issei to slouch considerably.

"What did you think?" The woman asked smugly, seeing that Issei was looking a defeated posture.

Or so she thought...

"DIVIDE!"

"What?!" Trihexa looked down at her hands completely elated as she felt much of her power leaving her. "My strength...!"

Her dismayed expression changed to one of anger as she focused her gaze on Issei once more, watching as he entered a fighting stance like it was nothing. His body showed slight scratches, too slight considering the supposed beating he had received a matter of seconds ago.

"DAMN WORM!" Trihexa shouted in anger as she lunged at Issei, being dodged by him quite easily, only to then extend his arm backwards to give her a hard elbow in the back that made her spit blood.

That didn't end there, as Issei returned the favor when he grabbed her by the hair and started spinning her around at a tremendous speed, then sending her away. But unlike him, she had to use a small Dragon Shot in order to counter the absurd speed with which she had been thrown.

Trihexa turned her gaze to Issei, and her teeth clenched even tighter as she saw how the young man was giving her a half-smile as he remained folded in his arms.

"Now you see...!" The woman raised both of her hands to the front, beginning to create a sphere that grew larger and larger.

Numerous magical circles were created in front of her as the sphere grew without stopping.

Seeing this, Issei's serious look returned to his face as he raised a single hand towards where the woman was standing, beginning to create a sphere that was growing at a great speed.

"ZENMETSU!"

Trihexa shouted at the top of her lungs as she launched her attack, and the moment it passed through the various magic circles it grew considerably stronger and larger, creating a mass of destructive energy never seen before.

"DRAGON SHOT!"

Issei threw another attack much simpler in all respects, but was still able to hold off the advancing enemy attack before Trihexa's dismayed eyes.

"AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Trihexa gritted her teeth hard, concentrating as much magic as possible on the attack.

"THIS IS COMPLETE STUPIDITY!"

The Goddess's final words were followed by another magical circle being created, causing her attack to become considerably stronger, so it didn't take long for Issei's to be obliterated.

The first thing that could be witnessed was a large silver glow that quickly turned into a gigantic explosion that nearly shattered the weak dimension. Even Ophis and Great Red had to take cover even though they were really far away from the center of the conflict.

The deafening sound of the explosion slowly ceased as did the brightness, and the first figure to make an appearance was Trihexa, who looked considerably shaken as she watched the great distortion and smoke that her attack generated.

"What did you think of that?" Declared the Goddess in a voice cracked because of her gasps, though nothing was able to remove that smile on her face.

Actually, there was a rather simple option that could.

That option showed itself almost instantly as all the smoke abruptly dispersed, causing the woman's smile to vanish. Her eyes glowed and could be seen to reflect Issei's figure that was slowly rising as he wiped away the blood coming out of his nose.

Finally, the protagonist came face to face with her. Issei spat out some blood before clenching his fists tightly, causing his red gem to glow a green color.

"UUUUUUAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

"BOOST!"

"BOOSTOOOOOOOOO!"

The sudden great jolt of power made all the Realms rumble before Trihexa's utterly incredulous gaze.

"W-wasn't-he not using all his power?!" The woman thought through gritted teeth at the top of her lungs, though no rage or fury reigned in her features this time.

She could only look at Issei with fear and stupefaction.

"What's wrong? Didn't you want to destroy everything?" Issei's words made her snap out of her stupor, "Tell me one thing..." The brown-haired man's serious look changed to a smile as he folded his arms. "How do you plan to destroy all the Kingdoms if you can't even take down one person?"

"You..." Trihexa hissed venomously, then materialized a magical sword to hurl a blast of energy at him that was deflected by Issei's bare hand.

The Goddess's scowl turned back into a smile just as she launched herself at Issei.

The two shared a great deal of punches and blocks, until finally Trihexa was thrown away, so it didn't take long for her to rejoin and raise both her hands.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

The Dragon Goddess roared at the top of her lungs as an impressively sized sphere formed above her in a matter of a few moments.

"TAKE THIS!"

"ZENMETSUUUUUU!"

The gigantic sphere was launched directly at Issei, who did not move from the spot. The brown simply met the attack with a large barrier, stopping its advance in its tracks.

Issei gritted his teeth for a few seconds, then let out a loud shout as he punched the barrier hard, so he ended up pushing it away along with the huge attack.

Trihexa moved just in time to dodge her own attack, causing an unprecedented explosion to pop up behind her.

"AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" They both shouted at the top of their lungs as they launched themselves at each other, initiating another great clash of forces as their figures were decorated by that strong silver light produced by the recent explosion.

Their bodies became mere shadows because of how fast they were moving, generating a great amount of collisions and shock waves everywhere. And, although the fight at first seemed to be quite evenly matched, if you saw the faces of both, you could easily notice that Trihexa was very tense while Issei was taking the fight very calmly.

Trihexa's screams were heard even more than the numerous rumbles caused by the battle, where you could see how she was doing everything possible to try to hit Issei, while he seemed completely relaxed, and that was reflected in his blocks, as they were perfect.

In the last blow, Issei grabbed the woman's hand to then bend it, causing a frightening sound to be followed by an agonizing scream, although she didn't take long to react when she gave him a strong elbow with her other arm to get him off her.

Trihexa wasted no time and followed him instantly to give him a hard knee to the abdomen, making the whole place rumble more than usual.

Despite the blunt blow, Issei instantly pulled himself together and concentrated on throwing a barrage of punches that Trihexa could barely dodge. The worst mistake she made was trying to counterattack, as Issei dodged the blow with no trouble and delivered a hard knee that sent her flying.

Trihexa was able to rejoin with a somersault, and threw a punch forward instantly knowing that Issei was already there, but her surprise was not long in coming when he disappeared for a short second, then grabbed her arm and pulled her close, delivering a forceful punch to her chest that broke the gem and made her spit out a large amount of blood. The clash of forces did not stop at any moment, as their trails were guided through much of the area, generating a large number of consecutive impacts.

Finally, Trihexa cut the frenzied combat short when she delivered a heavy blow to his ribs, then delivered a hard knee to his face that apparently stunned him. Trihexa instantly realized she was wrong, for when she planned to hit him again, Issei opened his eyes and pulled himself together so quickly that she couldn't even perceive him.

"I've had enough of this." Issei declared in a solemn voice as he delivered a strong punch to her belly that made her vomit a large amount of blood.

Issei didn't stop there as he delivered a strong kick to her face that sent her flying.

Trihexa pulled herself together after a few seconds and did not take long to bring her furious and stunned gaze to Issei, although that expression changed instantly when she noticed that he was no longer there. When she realized that fact it was already too late, due to the fact that she received a strong kick on her back that sent her flying again. And to her bad luck, that did not end there, as Issei made a small sequence of two blows that hurt her a lot.

Trihexa's hair shrank to half its current size and returned to its silver color, as did her eyes.

"This can't be real..." The woman thought to herself in great alarm as she looked at her hands, noticing that she had reverted to her first form involuntarily.

In other words, the battle already had a clear winner.

"What's wrong? You can't fight anymore?" Trihexa's skin bristled all over as she felt the breath on her back.

The Goddess didn't take long to instantly turn around, but quickly noticed that no one was there.

"That's just as well, since now I can make sure to heal you without accidentally killing you in the process." This time, Trihexa didn't even turn around, she simply walked away as fast as she could by somersaulting away.

But when she looked, there was no one there again.

"Behind you." The Goddess turned around instantly, gritting her teeth in fury and restrained fear as she saw how Issei was behind her without at any point being able to perceive or understand how he'd moved.

Trihexa turned around with the idea of fleeing, so she began to fly at a high speed. Her fury was being replaced by fear as she watched Issei appear in front of her without any trouble, no matter in which direction or what action she took to throw him off.

"Now...now I get it..." Trihexa looked at Issei's previous position as she slowly floated backwards, until she felt herself bump into something. "It's not the power of the gem..." The woman thought fearfully as she slowly turned her face around, watching as Issei was crashing backwards into her as he remained crossed-armed.

"He's a Reincarnated Dragon God too!" She concluded her thoughts as she tried to give him one last punch despite knowing she wasn't even going to hit him.

And just as her thoughts suggested, Issei disappeared before she could touch him, and after that...

After that, her whole world went completely black.

"I'm sorry, but I need you to be calm for this." Issei commented, making it clear that he had knocked her unconscious with a blow to the back of her head.

Issei took her in his arms carefully, then observed the woman closely.

Her considerably tattered clothing revealed a large scar on the left side of her chest that had been in Issei's eyes almost from the beginning of the battle.

"Most likely it was introduced inside her body so that no one could remove or destroy it." Issei thought carefully, taking back all the dragon knowledge he had acquired so far. "Having Tiamat's background, she most likely fainted from the great suffering caused by the loss of her son, and that's when the previous Demon King took advantage of it to install this...thing in her." Issei concluded his thoughts, then began to fly off in the direction of Great Red and Ophis.

"I just hope I'm not wrong. I don't know how much longer she'll be unconscious and we only have about a minute left. So, if my assumptions aren't true, I'll have no choice but to kill her."

With that, the battle of the Dragon Gods comes to an end, and now the war is just one chapter away from being over. And, by the way, the next chapter will most likely be quite short, but it also means I'll be bringing it fairly soon.

Speaking of the war, I'd like to leave you with this final little scene to let you know how the next chapter will unfold.

"I can't stand it much longer...!" Tannin exclaimed through gritted teeth, his words reaffirmed as he lost his dragon form, as did Tiamat.

"We must endure to the end!" Rossweisse fell to his knees after his own words, feeling his magic reserves were nearly empty.

"Great, it's time..." Sirzechs commented as he watched the huge Dragon Kings disappear. "Are you ready?" The Demon King fixed his gaze on his companions, who were somewhat sweaty from what they were doing.

"Just a few more seconds." Baraqiel answered for everyone, concentrating much of his magic on that magic circle, as did the others.

Meanwhile, Penemue was advancing left and right, annihilating everything in her path with superlative skill. Her demonstration of superiority ended when she fell to the ground and thrust the katana into the barren earth, causing a great amount of lightning to shoot out from all the surrounding crevices, eliminating a large number of enemies instantly.

Penemue raised her katana again, causing all the surrounding lightning to surround her weapon, whereupon the blade began to enlarge at a great speed, as if it were a giant bolt of lightning that was piercing everything and everyone in its path, until it finally broke through the last line of defense.

The lightning bolt headed at a great speed towards a Sirzechs who looked somewhat shaken after seeing that the strike was only a second away from killing him.

"NOW!"

The Cadres shout made Sirzechs grit his teeth hard.

The lightning was absorbed by a massive whirlwind of power just before it could strike the Demon.

Penemue had to firm her feet on the ground, and her gritted teeth were not long in coming as she watched the massive magical attack move forward at an impressive pace, taking out Demons and Fallen Angels that stood in the way.

"I can't let them hit us with this again!" Penemue thought with great seriousness as she stabbed her katana into the ground, only to create a massive barrier.

The attack soon hit the blockade, and the Cadre clenched her teeth even tighter after feeling the enormous pressure.

"Everyone out of the way!" Shouted Baraqiel, causing most of the nearby Demons and Fallen Angels to back away.

The edge of the barrier was disintegrated in short order, causing small fractions of the attack to continue on their way before Penemue's frustrated gaze, but pleasant was his surprise when he saw how Göndul and the Vali group managed to contain the leaks.

"Shit!" Shouted Penemue in annoyance as she felt her clothing slowly being torn apart at the same time as the barrier began to show more and more damage.

Penemue and the barrier began to be dragged away without her consent at the same time as slight burns began to present themselves on the woman's body.

"Keep pushing! She'll manage to stop the attack, but we just need to buy time!" Sirzechs exclaimed through gritted teeth, receiving a nod from Cadres.

"UUUUUAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!"

Penemue couldn't contain her scream as she used all of her magical reserves to reinforce the barrier, causing the protection to slowly begin to recover.

"Awesome!" Michael exclaimed as he watched Penemue slowly begin to advance.

Just then though, there was a huge explosion that destroyed the barrier and the attack and made everyone shout, causing the entire battlefield to be covered in dust.

"Cof, cof! Whats happened!" Gasper got up from the ground unable to stop himself from coughing because of the dust that had gotten into his lungs.

The half-vampire's eyes strained to try and make out something, and when he finally did, his eyes widened to inordinate levels.

Not far behind him stood a rather dazed Loki as he cupped his head with one of his hands.

"But if he's here..." Gasper's thoughts were confirmed as Odin and Rossweisse arrived to help him up.

"Shit..." Loki exclaimed with a tired and annoyed look on his face. "That guy didn't tell us that the seals would explode once they were broken."

Right after those words, an extremely powerful presence lashed the entire battlefield, causing many to break out in a sweat.

"It's finally here!" Exclaimed a laughing Sirzechs as he raised his gaze, watching as a figure hovered several feet above the ground.

"Observe!" the Demon King shouted again, causing everyone to look at the newcomer.

"Observe and rejoice before the most powerful entity in this world!" Sirzechs stretched out both arms as he laughed rather madly.

The dust finally began to give way as a strong blizzard swept across the battlefield, so everyone watched the mysterious figure with great anxiety.

Finally, crimson eyes and long dark hair made their presence known. His completely serious gaze was accompanied by an extremely powerful aura.

And in his arms was a slightly blushing Penemue who watched her beloved's new appearance with great fascination.
