Love Struck (Beck)

Beck had spent the entire school year admiring Jade from afar. Despite his easygoing demeanor and popularity, Jade's enigmatic aura intrigued him. However, she never approached him, and he was accustomed to girls openly expressing their interest in him. Beck assumed that Jade simply wasn't interested in him, and he accepted it, not wanting to push or make assumptions.

Everything changed at a beach party. Unexpectedly, Jade showed up and initiated an intense makeout session with Beck that lasted the entire night. In the midst of the passionate encounter, she boldly declared that he was hers. Despite the suddenness of it all, Beck found himself agreeing. After all, being with Jade was something he had secretly desired.

However, as the relationship progressed, Beck discovered a side of Jade he hadn't anticipated. Beneath her tough exterior, Jade harbored insecurities that surfaced in their interactions. Despite her challenging demeanor, Beck found himself completely love-struck by the complex and vulnerable girl he now called his own.

Beck nervously walked up to Jade's massive house, his heart racing as he approached the door. He took a deep breath before ringing the doorbell. A few moments later, the door opened to reveal a stunning woman who he assumed was Jade's mother.

'Hi, I'm Beck,' he introduced himself, trying to sound confident.

The woman's eyes scanned over him, taking in his appearance. Beck couldn't help but feel self-conscious under her gaze. She had an ethnic look to her, with dark hair and sharp features. He found out later that she was half Albanian, which explained her unique beauty.

'Nice to meet you, Beck. I'm Cat, Jade's mother,' she replied with a warm smile, her voice holding a hint of an accent.

Beck couldn't help but be surprised by how young Jade's mother looked. He had always assumed that Jade's parents were older, given the size and grandeur of their house. But Cat seemed to be in her late thirties, barely older than Beck's own parents.

As he stepped inside, Beck couldn't help but feel a little intimidated. Jade's family was clearly wealthy and he couldn't help but feel out of place in their luxurious home.

Cat led Beck into the living room where he caught a glimpse of a man with blonde hair and blue eyes, who he assumed was Jade's father. They exchanged a brief nod before Cat turned back to him.

'I hope you don't mind me saying this, but you're quite handsome. Jade's tastes seem to align with mine more than I thought,' Cat said, giving him a sly smile.

Beck blushed at her compliment, not sure how to respond. He wasn't used to adults flirting with him, especially not the mother of the girl he was interested in.

Cat's smile turned into a stern look as she warned him, 'But let me make one thing clear, Beck. I don't want to be a grandmother in my forties. So, stay out of my daughter's pants, okay?'

Beck's cheeks turned even redder at her blunt statement. He quickly reassured her, 'Oh no, Mrs. West. We're just friends. This is actually our first date.'

Cat's expression softened at his words and she turned her head to call for Jade. "Gigi, you're date's here,"she shouted and walked away. Beck's heart skipped a beat when he saw Jade walking towards them. She looked absolutely stunning in a simple black dress, her dark hair cascading down her shoulders.

As Jade reached them, Beck couldn't help but notice how different she looked from her mother. Jade had the same sharp features, but her skin was pale and her hair was a lighter shade of brown.

'Hi, Beck,' Jade greeted him with a small smile, her eyes sparkling with amusement.

Beck couldn't help but smile back at her, feeling more at ease with her by his side. But then, he noticed something odd. Her mother had called her Gigi, but Jade seemed to bristle at the name. Before he could question her about it, she gave him a warning look.

'Don't you ever call me that, Beck. It's my middle name and only my mom calls me that. It's a long story,' she explained, hinting that she didn't want to talk about it.

Beck nodded, not wanting to push her. He could see that it was a sensitive topic for her. But he couldn't help but wonder about the story behind her name.

As they left the house and headed to their date, Beck couldn't shake off the feeling that he was stepping into a whole new world with Jade. A world filled with secrets, mysteries, and a complicated family dynamic. But he was determined to get to know her better and be there for her, no matter what.
