Pilot (Semester break and the start of Tori's new life)
Tori's heart was racing as she ran into her room, tears streaming down her face. She had just broken up with Daniel, the boy she had been dating for the past few months. She had hurt him, and she couldn't shake off the guilt.
Her sister, Shelby, followed her into the room, concern etched on her face. She sat down next to Tori on the bed and placed a comforting hand on her shoulder.
Tori sniffled and wiped her tears away. 'I just...I couldn't do it anymore. I hurt him, Shelby. I hurt him so much and I can't take it back.'
Shelby gave her a sympathetic look. 'You're lucky to have two boys wanting you like that, you know.'
Tori let out a bitter laugh. 'Lucky? I don't feel very lucky right now. I just...I don't understand myself. Am I even into boys?'
Shelby looked surprised at her sister's words. 'What do you mean?'
Tori took a deep breath and decided to confide in her sister. 'I had sex with a girl, Shelby. And it was amazing. It felt so good and right. But then I got back together with Daniel and we had sex, and it was just...bad. I felt guilty about the other girl and I also knew that Andre was about to kiss me and Danny almost caught us. I just...I don't know what to do.'
Shelby listened attentively, her expression understanding. 'Tori, it's okay to not know who you are or what you want. It's a confusing time, especially with relationships and sexuality. But you shouldn't feel guilty about exploring and figuring things out.'
Tori nodded, tears threatening to spill again. 'But what if I hurt someone else in the process? I don't want to be that kind of person.'
Shelby hugged her sister tightly. 'You won't, Tori. Just focus on yourself and what makes you happy. You're starting at a new school soon, where you can be whoever you want to be. Take this opportunity to explore and discover yourself. And don't worry about relationships for now. Just focus on yourself.'
Tori took in her sister's words and felt a sense of relief wash over her. She knew Shelby was right. She needed to focus on herself and not worry about who she wanted to sleep with. She had a whole new chapter ahead of her, and she was excited to see where it would lead.
Andre welcomed his family into the grand mansion, feeling a mixture of excitement and apprehension as Thanksgiving festivities began. The aroma of delicious food filled the air, courtesy of the hired chef who was busy at work in the kitchen under Grandma's watchful eye. Despite the challenges of caring for Grandma, Andre was determined to make this holiday special for his family.
As he greeted his relatives, Andre couldn't help but feel grateful for their presence, especially given Grandma's fragile state of mind. With the nurse off for the holiday, it fell upon Andre and his uncle to attend to Grandma's needs, a responsibility they bore with a sense of duty and love.
In the midst of the bustling preparations, Andre's attention was drawn to the arrival of unexpected guests – the Vega sisters. Although he had hoped for Tori's presence, he understood her need for healing and was grateful to see Shelby in her place. Shelby's presence brought a sense of warmth and familiarity, and Andre welcomed her with open arms.
During the course of the evening, Andre found himself drawn to Shelby's genuine warmth and easygoing nature. Despite his limited knowledge of sports, he was intrigued by her athletic prowess and engaged in lively conversation with her. His cousin Kendra's enthusiastic curiosity about Shelby only served to deepen Andre's interest in getting to know her better.
Before Shelby departed, she generously offered Tori's number to Andre, sensing a connection between them. Grateful for the new friendship that had blossomed unexpectedly, Andre bid Shelby farewell with a sense of anticipation for the future. As the evening drew to a close, Andre reflected on the unexpected blessings that Thanksgiving had brought, including the gift of a newfound friendship with Shelby.
This realization weighed heavily on Jade as the winter break approached. She knew she needed to take a step back and reevaluate her priorities, her desires, and most importantly, her sense of self. Determined to reclaim the parts of herself she felt slipping away, Jade made a silent vow to use the winter break as a time of self-discovery and reflection.
With each passing day leading up to the break, Jade found herself growing more introspective. She spent hours alone in her room, journaling, and soul-searching, trying to untangle the complex web of emotions that had consumed her in recent months. She delved into activities that once brought her joy, reconnecting with her passions and interests outside of her relationship with Beck.
despite her inner turmoil, Jade couldn't ignore the nagging feeling that she was losing sight of who she truly was. The more she clung to Beck, the more she felt like she was betraying herself. Her once-strong sense of self seemed to fade with each passing day, replaced by a version of herself she barely recognized—a version driven by fear and insecurity.
Each interaction with Beck felt like a battle for control, a struggle to maintain her grip on the relationship. But deep down, Jade knew that true love shouldn't feel so forced, so desperate. She longed for a sense of peace, for a relationship built on mutual respect and trust, rather than jealousy and possessiveness.
As she grappled with these conflicting emotions, Jade began to question whether holding onto Beck at all costs was worth sacrificing her own happiness and self-worth. Perhaps it was time to confront her fears head-on, to let go of her need for control and allow herself to find true love on her own terms.
Beck's discomfort with Jade pulling away only added to the tension between them. He couldn't understand why she seemed distant, why she wasn't as eager to spend every moment with him like before. The more Jade tried to distance herself, the more Beck clung to her, fearing he might lose her.
Their relationship became a battleground of conflicting desires—Jade yearning for space and freedom, and Beck desperate to keep her close. Each attempt Jade made to reclaim her independence only seemed to drive Beck further into insecurity, triggering arguments and misunderstandings.
Despite Beck's protests, Jade braced herself for the difficult conversations ahead, knowing that finding herself again would require courage and resilience. She hoped that Beck would eventually understand her need for space and support her journey toward self-discovery.
But Jade pulling away stemmed from Beck's own insecurities. He thrived on the intensity of their relationship, reveling in the power he held over her emotions. Seeing Jade pull back made him feel vulnerable, as if he was losing control over the dynamic they shared.
He craved the validation that came from Jade's obsession with him, finding reassurance in the knowledge that he could elicit such strong feelings from her. Her jealousy, possessiveness, and neediness fueled his ego, making him feel desired and important.
As Jade began to distance herself, Beck felt a sense of rejection creeping in. He feared losing the intensity of their connection and the validation that came with it. Deep down, he knew that Jade's independence was healthy for her, but he struggled to let go of the power he wielded over her emotions.
Instead of supporting Jade's journey of self-discovery, Beck found himself clinging tighter, desperate to maintain the status quo. He didn't want Jade to find herself if it meant losing the version of her that he had grown accustomed to—a version that revolved around him.
Beck's visit to Jade's home on Christmas Eve was fraught with tension and longing. As he stood at her doorstep, clutching a beautifully wrapped gift, his heart raced with anticipation and desire. He knew he shouldn't be here, knew it was wrong to pursue her like this, especially with her mother away. But he couldn't resist the pull, the magnetic force that drew him to Jade like a moth to a flame.
When Jade opened the door, her eyes widened in surprise at the sight of Beck standing there, his presence igniting a flurry of conflicting emotions within her. Despite her efforts to keep her distance, her heart leaped at the sight of him, her body responding instinctively to his nearness.
Beck's gift was a mere facade, a thinly veiled excuse to see Jade, to be near her once more. As they stood in the warmth of her home, the air crackled with unspoken tension, their gazes locking in a silent exchange of longing and desire.
Unable to resist the magnetic pull between them, Beck moved closer to Jade, his fingers trembling as he reached out to touch her, to feel the softness of her skin beneath his fingertips. Jade's breath caught in her throat as she felt his touch, a surge of electricity coursing through her veins.
In that moment, the boundaries they had carefully constructed began to crumble, giving way to the raw intensity of their desire. Beck leaned in closer, his lips hovering tantalizingly close to hers, his eyes filled with a hunger that mirrored her own.
For Jade, the temptation was overwhelming, the allure of Beck's embrace almost too much to bear. Her resolve wavered as she teetered on the edge of surrender, torn between her longing for him and the knowledge that this was wrong.
But just as their lips were about to meet in a fiery kiss, a voice shattered the charged atmosphere, pulling them back to reality. It was Jade's mother, returning home unexpectedly, her presence a stark reminder of the consequences of their actions.
'Beck, what are you doing here?' Cat's voice startled both Beck and Jade, who were standing very close together in the living room. Beck's hand was wrapped around a small Christmas gift, the reason he had given for why he had come to see Jade, who had been avoiding him for days.
'Um, I just wanted to give Jade her Christmas present,' Beck stammered, feeling caught off guard by Cat's sudden appearance. He knew how protective she was of her daughter, and he could feel her suspicion radiating off of her.
Cat's eyes flickered between the two teenagers, taking in their close proximity and Beck's nervous demeanor. She couldn't help but wonder what was really going on between them. 'Well, why don't you stay for dinner then?' she asked, trying to keep her tone light and casual.
Beck hesitated, not wanting to intrude on their family dinner, but he also didn't want to leave Jade alone with her mother's suspicions. 'Sure, thank you for the invitation,' he replied, giving Jade a small smile.
Cat went to the kitchen to set out the Chinese food she had picked up, leaving Beck and Jade alone in the living room. Jade was fidgeting with her hands, avoiding Beck's gaze. She knew her mother was watching them closely, and she couldn't shake off the feeling of guilt and unease.
As they sat down for dinner, Cat couldn't help but watch her daughter and her boyfriend with a skeptical eye. She knew that boys shouldn't be in her house when she wasn't home, and she couldn't help but wonder what was really going on between them.
'So, Beck, are you and Jade sexually active?' Cat's question hung heavily in the air, causing Jade to choke on her food and Beck to nearly drop his chopsticks.
Jade's face turned red with anger and embarrassment. 'Mom, that is none of your business!' she snapped, getting up from the table and storming off to her room.
Beck sat there, feeling extremely uncomfortable and unsure of how to respond to Cat's question. He knew that he and Jade had been intimate, but he didn't feel comfortable discussing it with her mother.
Cat could see the discomfort on Beck's face and regretted asking such a personal question. 'I'm sorry, Beck. I just want to make sure my daughter is safe and responsible,' she said sincerely.
Beck nodded, understanding her concerns. 'I promise, we are being safe and responsible,' he assured her.
Cat gave him a small smile before excusing herself to go check on Jade. Beck sat alone at the dinner table, feeling grateful for Cat's understanding and also a bit guilty for causing tension between mother and daughter.
He hoped that Jade would calm down and come back to the table so they could finish dinner together. But for now, he sat in silence, reflecting on the awkward and uncomfortable situation he had found himself in.
Jade was fuming as she paced back and forth in her room. How could her mother ask such a personal question in front of Beck? She couldn't believe it.
'Gigi, can I come in?' Cat's voice called from the other side of the door.
Jade took a deep breath and tried to calm herself down before answering. 'Yeah, come in,' she said, trying to sound calm.
Cat entered the room and closed the door behind her. She could see the anger and embarrassment on Jade's face and her heart sank. 'I'm sorry, Gigi. I didn't mean to embarrass you or make you uncomfortable,' she said sincerely.
Jade crossed her arms over her chest and glared at her mother. 'Then why did you ask such a personal question in front of Beck?' she snapped.
Cat sighed and sat down on Jade's bed, motioning for her to sit next to her. 'I just want to make sure you're being safe and responsible, Gigi. I know you and Beck are in a serious relationship and I just want to make sure you're taking care of yourselves.'
Jade's anger started to dissipate as she listened to her mother's words. She knew Cat only had her best interests at heart. 'I know, Mom. But asking about our sex life in front of Beck was just...not cool,' she said, looking down at her hands.
Cat reached out and placed a hand on Jade's shoulder. 'I know, sweetie. I'm sorry. I just want to make sure you're being responsible and taking care of yourself.'
Jade looked up at her mother and saw the genuine concern in her eyes. She let out a sigh and leaned into her mother's embrace. 'I promise, Mom. Beck and I are being safe and responsible,' she reassured her.
Cat hugged her daughter tightly. 'I trust you, Gigi. I just wanted to make sure,' she said, kissing Jade's forehead.
Jade smiled and hugged her mother back. 'I know, Mom. I love you,' she said, feeling grateful to have such a caring and understanding mother.
'I love you too, Gigi,' Cat replied, smiling at her daughter. 'Now, let's go back downstairs and finish dinner. I made your favorite dessert,' she said, trying to lighten the mood.
"Fortune cookies?" Jade asked with smirk.
"You got it.." Cat said and followed Jade back downw the stairs where Beck waited.
The night started out like any other holiday party. Gary and his wife were dressed to the nines and ready to mingle with their friends and colleagues. As they arrived at the first party, Gary couldn't help but notice his wife disappearing into the bathroom multiple times throughout the evening. He didn't think much of it, assuming she just needed to freshen up.
But as the night went on and they moved on to the next party, Gary started to notice a change in his wife's behavior. She became increasingly amorous and forceful, almost like a different person. Gary tried to go along with it, but when she started to get rough and hit him across the face, he couldn't take it anymore.
'What's going on?' Gary asked, pulling away from her.
His wife's eyes were glazed over and her breath smelled of alcohol. 'You're never around, always at work,' she slurred. 'I just want you to pay attention to me.'
Gary was taken aback. He had been working long hours to support their family, but he didn't realize she was feeling neglected. He tried to reason with her, but she wouldn't listen. She continued to blame him for her drinking and her behavior.
Feeling frustrated and hurt, Gary decided to leave the party and take his wife home. But as they got into bed, she softened and started to apologize. She promised to get back on the wagon and be a better wife to him.
Feeling exhausted and emotionally drained, Gary relented and came back to bed with her. She allowed him to hold her, but Gary couldn't shake the feeling of unease. He lay awake for the rest of the night, replaying the events of the evening in his mind.
The next morning, Gary woke up with a pounding headache. He groaned as he slowly opened his eyes, the memories of the previous night flooding back to him. He looked over at his wife, who was still asleep next to him. She looked so peaceful, but Gary knew that her behavior the night before was far from peaceful.
He sat up in bed and rubbed his temples, trying to make sense of everything that had happened. His wife had been disappearing into the bathroom all night, and now he knew why. She had been sneaking drinks behind his back. And then, when they had gone to bed, she had become rough and forceful, hitting him across the face multiple times.
Gary couldn't understand it. His wife had been in rehab before, and he thought she was doing well. But clearly, she had fallen off the wagon again. And this time, she had taken out her frustrations on him.
He couldn't continue living like this. He loved his wife, but he couldn't continue allowing her to abuse him. He needed to stand up for himself and set some boundaries.
His wife stirred in her sleep and opened her eyes, smiling at him. 'Good morning, honey,' she said, reaching out to touch his face.
But Gary pulled away from her touch, his expression serious. 'We need to talk,' he said firmly.
His wife's smile faltered, and she sat up in bed, looking at him with concern. 'What's wrong, Gary?'
'What's wrong?' Gary repeated, his voice rising. 'You were wrong last night, when you hit me. And you've been wrong for a while now, drinking behind my back. I can't keep letting you treat me like this.'
Tears started to well up in his wife's eyes. 'I'm sorry, Gary,' she said, her voice trembling. 'I've been struggling, and I didn't know how to tell you.'
Gary's heart softened at the sight of her tears, but he knew he couldn't back down now. 'You need help,' he said firmly. 'I can't keep enabling you. It's not healthy for either of us.'
His wife nodded, her tears falling freely now. 'I know,' she said, her voice barely above a whisper. 'I'll go back to rehab. I promise.'
Gary let out a sigh of relief. He knew it wouldn't be easy, but he was willing to support her through her recovery. He didn't want to lose his wife to addiction.
They held each other for a few moments, both of them crying, before his wife got up to pack her things. Gary watched her, feeling a mix of emotions. He was scared for her, but he also felt a sense of relief that he was finally standing up for himself.
As his wife left for rehab, Gary knew that it would be a long road to recovery for both of them. But he was determined to be there for her, and to make sure that she never hit him again. He knew that true love wasn't about enduring abuse, but about supporting each other through the good times and the bad. And he was ready to do just that for his wife.
Cat's heart swelled with a mixture of relief and apprehension as she awaited Frankie's return from the special hospital. The prospect of having her brother home for the holidays filled her with both joy and anxiety. She couldn't help but worry about how he would adjust to being back, and whether his condition had improved or worsened during his time away.
As Christmas approached, Cat found herself caught up in the hustle and bustle of holiday preparations. Despite her nervousness, she was determined to make Frankie's homecoming as comfortable and welcoming as possible. She poured her energy into creating a warm and festive atmosphere, hoping to lift his spirits and make him feel at ease.
When Frankie finally arrived home, Cat's heart swelled with relief at the sight of him. Despite his time away, he seemed surprisingly normal, if a bit subdued. She greeted him with a warm hug, grateful to have him back safe and sound.
As they settled into their quiet Christmas celebrations, Cat couldn't help but feel a sense of peace and contentment wash over her. Despite the challenges they faced as a family, being together for the holidays was a gift in itself. And as she watched Frankie interact with their loved ones, Cat couldn't help but feel a glimmer of hope for the future.
As Robbie lit the eighth candle of Hanukkah, he recited the blessing with reverence, feeling the weight of the moment. "Baruch atah Adonai Eloheinu Melech ha-olam, asher kid'shanu b-mitzvotav, v-tzivanu l'hadlik ner shel Hanukkah," he said, his voice steady and filled with gratitude. Blessed are you, Our God, Ruler of the Universe, who makes us holy through Your commandments, and commands us to light the Hanukkah lights.
His family watched him with pride, their faces illuminated by the warm glow of the candles. His sister and mother smiled back at him, sharing in the significance of the moment.
"Such a beautiful blessing, Robbie," his mother said, her voice soft with emotion. "We're so proud of you."
"Yeah, man, you did great," his sister added, reaching out to squeeze his hand affectionately.
Robbie's heart swelled with happiness as he adjusted his yarmulke and took his seat at the dinner table. The aroma of the Shabbat meal filled the air, comforting and inviting. Around the table, his family shared stories and laughter, enjoying each other's company as they celebrated the holiday together.
As they passed around the dishes of food, Robbie couldn't help but feel a deep sense of contentment wash over him. Despite the challenges he had faced on his journey, he was grateful for moments like these, surrounded by loved ones and filled with the warmth of tradition and faith.
Tori couldn't contain her excitement on Christmas morning. She tiptoed into her sisters' rooms, gently waking them up with whispers of "Santa's been!" With a shared grin, the three of them hurried downstairs to the tree, anticipation buzzing in the air.
Their parents still carried on the tradition of Santa's gifts, but this year, there were no extra surprises awaiting them under the tree. Tori's heart sank a little at the sight, but she tried to shake off the disappointment as she settled onto the floor with her sisters.
Trina's voice broke the silence, her complaint tinged with teenage attitude. "Why did you even think there'd be more presents? We're practically adults now."
Shelby interjected, a touch of pride in her tone. "Well, technically, I'm not in high school anymore. I got my GED so I could focus on fighting."
Trina rolled her eyes. "But you still have a job, so you're not off the hook for being a responsible adult."
Tori chuckled softly, deciding to steer the conversation away from their lack of gifts. She busied herself with making hot cocoa, the familiar ritual bringing a sense of comfort amidst the disappointment. As she distributed the mugs to her sisters, they settled in a cozy circle under the twinkling lights of the tree.
Their quiet moment was interrupted by the sound of footsteps descending the stairs. Their parents and Granny appeared, their faces lighting up with smiles as they joined the girls by the tree, ready to share in the joy of Christmas morning together.
The sun was setting on the last day of the year, and Erwin and his girlfriend decided to join the outdoor drum circle to celebrate the new year in a unique way. They found a spot in the middle of the circle, surrounded by dancing bodies and the rhythmic beats of the drums.
Erwin had brought some shrooms with him and decided to take them as the night was getting darker. He chewed on the dried mushrooms and washed it down with some water. He closed his eyes and waited for the effects to kick in.
As the music continued to play, Erwin started to feel a tingling sensation in his body. He opened his eyes and looked around, everything seemed to be moving and breathing. The colors around him were more vibrant and alive.
He took off his clothes, feeling the need to be free and one with nature. The mud on the ground called out to him, and he couldn't resist. He walked towards the mud and started to roll around in it, feeling the coolness and texture on his skin.
His girlfriend looked at him with a mix of shock and amusement, but she didn't stop him. She knew that this was part of his journey and she wanted to experience it with him.
Erwin's body started to move with the rhythm of the drums, his limbs feeling weightless and his mind in a state of euphoria. He danced and twirled, lost in the moment and the music.
As the night went on, more people joined the drum circle, and Erwin's girlfriend joined him in the mud. They danced together, covered in mud and laughter, feeling completely connected to each other and the earth.
As the clock struck midnight, fireworks lit up the sky, and the drums reached a crescendo. Erwin looked up at the stars, feeling grateful for this experience and the new year ahead. He hugged his girlfriend tightly, both of them covered in mud and shrooms, but feeling more alive and connected than ever before.
Meanwhile, Shelby and Andre were outside on the balcony, watching the fireworks go off and talking about their plans for the new school year. Shelby was pretending to be Tori, but she couldn't help but feel guilty for deceiving Andre. She knew that he had a crush on her sister and she didn't want to lead him on.
As the clock struck midnight, Andre leaned in to kiss Shelby, thinking that she was Tori. Shelby hesitated for a moment, but then gave in to the moment and kissed him back. It was a sweet and innocent kiss, but it meant everything to Andre. He pulled away, smiling at her.
'I've been waiting to do that for a long time,' he said.
Shelby smiled back, feeling guilty but also enjoying the attention. She had always had a little crush on Andre, but she never acted on it because of her sister.
Meanwhile, Tori and Marina were caught up in their own passionate moment when they heard the fireworks go off. They pulled away from each other, both slightly disappointed that they were interrupted.
'I can't believe we missed the countdown,' Marina said, pouting.
Tori chuckled and pulled her in for another kiss. 'Who cares? We have all year to make more memories.'
Back on the balcony, Shelby and Andre were still talking and getting to know each other. Shelby was surprised to find that they had a lot in common and she was starting to really enjoy spending time with him.
As the party continued, Shelby and Andre found themselves sneaking away from the crowd to spend more time together. They laughed and talked for hours, completely forgetting about the fact that Shelby was pretending to be Tori.
But as the night came to an end, Shelby knew she had to come clean. She took Andre aside and confessed everything, apologizing for deceiving him.
To her surprise, Andre was understanding and even a little relieved. Thanks for telling me… I would have made a complete fool of myself when we got back to school."
"I'm sorry," Shelby said. "I just know Tori's not ready"
"Yeah, okay… but do you even like me?" He asked.
"I do." Shelby said.
"I don't know shelby. I … I really like your sister so…"
"Right." She said… "Now I know what Trina feels like." She walked away and headed straight to her room.
Just as she was going up, Marina came out looking a bit disheveled. "Wild huh?" She said then walked away.
As Tori approached Hollywood Arts on her first day, the vibrant energy of the school contrasted sharply with an unexpected sight in the parking lot. There, seated in meditation, was a balding man. He exuded an air of tranquility despite his unconventional appearance – haphazard clothing, barefoot, with a coconut fashioned into a cup.
This sight stirred an unexpected emotion within Tori. She couldn't help but feel a twinge of sadness, realizing she had never encountered homeless individuals camped out at Sherwood High School. Driven by compassion, she decided to make a small gesture.
Tori approached the meditating man and gently placed two dollars into his coconut cup. The man, still immersed in his meditation, seemed unaffected by the interaction. With a sense of fulfillment, Tori hurriedly made her way into Hollywood Arts, eager to embark on her first day.
As Tori and Trina walked through the doors of Hollywood Arts, the air buzzed with creativity and talent. Trina, ever the confident older sister, couldn't resist teasing Tori about her nerves.
"Don't be such a wus, Tori. It's just school," Trina chided, offering a playful smirk as they navigated the bustling corridors.
As they stepped further into the heart of Hollywood Arts, the distinct sounds of musicians tuning instruments resonated on one side, while the rhythmic footsteps of dancers echoed on the other. The theater kids gathered, their animated conversations and bursts of laughter creating a lively backdrop.
The sheer magnitude of talent within the school was overwhelming for Tori. A few stragglers meandered about, and when Tori turned to ask Trina about the unspoken social rules, she found herself alone. Trina, always one to forge her path, had seemingly vanished into the tapestry of the creatively charged atmosphere.
Tori stood amid the vibrant chaos, the possibilities of Hollywood Arts unfolding before her. The distinct cliques and groups showcased the diverse talents within the school, each corner a haven for artistic expression. Tori, with a mix of awe and trepidation, took her first steps into a world where creativity knew no bounds.
Amidst the vibrant hustle and bustle of Hollywood Arts, Tori found herself face-to-face with Cat, whose gaze scanned her with a mix of curiosity and an underlying assumption.
"Hey! Are you new here?" Cat's voice chimed with a bubbly enthusiasm, though a hint of anticipation lingered.
Tori, somewhat nervous but eager to make a good impression, responded with a friendly smile. "Yeah, just transferred. I'm Tori."
Cat's expression seemed to hold a subtle anticipation. "Cool! I'm Cat." A glint of concern crossed her eyes, perhaps hinting at the anticipated reaction of a certain someone. "Jade's... gonna be, um... interesting about you."
Before Tori could process Cat's cryptic remark, they stumbled upon Robbie, whose nervous energy was palpable in the midst of their encounter. His eyes widened upon seeing Tori, his awkward demeanor unmistakable.
"Hey, Robbie," Cat interjected, sensing the palpable tension. "We've gotta go, like, now." With a quick glance and an apologetic smile at Tori, she swiftly whisked Robbie away, leaving Tori standing amidst the throng of students.
As the lively surroundings continued to buzz around her, Tori found herself left to navigate the intricacies of Hollywood Arts on her own. With a mix of curiosity and trepidation, she ventured forth, endeavoring to find her way to class amidst the vibrant chaos, the faint whispers of corridors guiding her onward.
Tori, feeling a mixture of excitement and anxiety, entered her first class at Hollywood Arts. The room buzzed with creative energy, and she found herself scanning the unfamiliar faces for a hint of familiarity. Trina and Andre were the only ones she really knew, and neither seemed to be in the room.
As she settled into a desk, the teacher had yet to arrive, and a sudden surge of nerves overcame her. Tori felt the urgent need to escape to the bathroom, hoping to collect herself before class began. However, as she turned to leave, someone was right behind her, and in her haste, she collided with a strikingly handsome young man, inadvertently spilling his coffee.
"Oh, I'm so sorry!" Tori exclaimed, her face flushed with embarrassment.
The stunning stranger, seemingly unfazed, looked down at the coffee stain on his shirt. Before Tori could react, a voice laced with irritation cut through the air. A girl, presumably his girlfriend, approached them, anger etched on her face.
"Dude, why are you rubbing my boyfriend?" the girlfriend snapped, her accusatory tone slicing through the awkward tension.
Tori, flustered and desperately trying to explain, stammered, "No, I—It was an accident. I spilled coffee, and I was just trying to clean it off."
The girlfriend's anger intensified. "Get away from him," she continued, her eyes narrowing.
"Jade, relax!" the boy interjected, attempting to defuse the situation.
As Trina navigated the crowded hallways of Hollywood Arts, the buzzing chatter around her couldn't be ignored. Whispers and murmurs filled the air, each word a testament to the impact Tori's arrival had on the school.
"Did you see Tori perform? She's amazing!" "Wow, Tori really stole the show!" "Trina who?"
The comments, though hushed, cut through Trina like a double-edged sword. Beneath the surface of her composed exterior, jealousy simmered. Hollywood Arts had always been her domain, her stage to shine, and now it seemed her sister had effortlessly stolen the spotlight.
Trina clenched her jaw, determined not to let her envy show. This was her school, her arena, and there was no way she would allow her baby sister to upstage her. Tori might have dazzled the audience, but Trina was unwilling to let her sister overshadow her own achievements.
Tori, who hadn't even desired to perform in the first place, was now casting a long shadow over Trina's reputation at Hollywood Arts. The very thought of being eclipsed by her sister, who had reluctantly taken the stage, fueled Trina's determination to remind everyone who the real star of the show was.
As Trina marched toward her class, her steps were laced with a silent vow – she wouldn't let Tori's unexpected success cast her into the shadows. Hollywood Arts might be abuzz with talk of Tori, but Trina was ready to reclaim her spotlight and prove that the school was still her stage to dominate.
Sikowitz, the idiosyncratic drama teacher at Hollywood Arts, found himself in the teacher's lounge, taking a sip of his morning pick-me-up – coconut milk and vodka – before venturing into the realm of improv. The lounge, a sanctuary for the school's eclectic faculty, hummed with subdued conversations and the rich aroma of brewing coffee.
With his peculiar concoction in hand, Sikowitz made his way to the classroom, ready to guide his students through the unpredictable world of improvisational theater. As he entered, his eyes gleamed with a mix of wisdom and eccentricity.
"Thank you, new student, for your gracious gift of two dollars," Sikowitz declared, holding up the money in a theatrical gesture. Instead of returning it to Tori, he unapologetically pocketed the unexpected offering.
"Why did you give him two dollars?" Andre inquired, a puzzled expression on his face.
Tori, caught off guard, shrugged. "I thought he was homeless!"
Sikowitz, unfazed by the assumption, continued with his unique teaching style, seamlessly blending improv and unorthodox moments into the fabric of the classroom.
The tension in the improv class was palpable as Jade, the brooding and formidable student, shot daggers at Tori, the newcomer who seemed oblivious to the basics. Jade's frustration with Tori's perceived incompetence simmered beneath the surface, an animosity waiting to unfold.
Sikowitz, the unpredictable drama teacher, interrupted the brewing conflict by appointing Jade as one of the captains for the upcoming improv exercise.
"Jade, you're the captain. Pick your team," Sikowitz announced with his characteristic nonchalance.
A sly grin spread across Jade's face as she seized the opportunity to put Tori in her place. Tori was chosen for Jade's team, and with a calculating smirk, Jade instructed her to wait in the hall.
When Tori returned, the scene was set. Beck stood as the husband, Eli and Cat portrayed the children, and Tori, against her will, was unveiled as the family pet.
"This is our new family pet. Say hello to Fido, everyone," Jade mockingly declared, setting the tone for the impending drama.
The group, seamlessly falling into the improv scenario, began to pet Tori as if she were an obedient dog. Tori, visibly uncomfortable, reluctantly played along, suppressing her mounting frustration.
"Amateur move, Fido. If you're gonna be a dog, you might as well be on all fours," Jade taunted, reveling in her apparent victory.
Sikowitz, the instigator, joined in, emphasizing Jade's point. "She's got a point. Commit to the role, Fido."
Reluctantly, Tori dropped to all fours, embodying the role she never signed up for. The room held its breath as Jade, basking in her triumph, pretended to find imaginary fleas on Tori.
"I read on the internet that coffee gets rid of fleas," Jade declared with a malicious smirk, pouring coffee over Tori in an act of symbolic humiliation.
"What's the prob? Bitch?" Jade coldly uttered, reveling in the discomfort she had orchestrated.
Unexpectedly, Tori, instead of retreating as anticipated, rose with a newfound determination. In a swift and decisive motion, her hand connected with Jade's cheek in a resounding slap that echoed through the room.
"That's the prob, bitch," Tori declared defiantly before walking out, leaving a stunned silence in her wake. The class, torn between shock and admiration, witnessed Tori's unexpected assertion in the face of adversity, forever altering the dynamics of Hollywood Arts.
The aftermath of the confrontation lingered in the classroom, leaving Jade standing in stunned silence. Andre, witnessing the entire exchange, shot a disapproving glare at his friend, his eyes reflecting a mix of disappointment and reproach.
"Serves you right," he muttered, his voice carrying a weight of disapproval. Without further words, Andre turned on his heel and exited the classroom, determined to find Tori and offer some words of comfort.
In the empty main hallway, Tori stood alone, phone in hand, in the process of dialing her mother after the unexpected clash with Jade. Andre approached, gently taking the phone from her grasp. With a shake of his head, he silently conveyed that Tori couldn't let a mean-spirited individual like Jade control her life.
"Tori, you can't let a mean girl like Jade control your life," Andre stated, his voice calm but firm.
Tori, still processing the recent events, looked up at Andre, her eyes reflecting a mixture of frustration and confusion.
"But what was I supposed to do? Just let her humiliate me?" Tori questioned, seeking understanding.
"No, but you don't have to let her actions define you. You're better than that," Andre replied, offering a reassuring perspective.
As Tori grappled with her emotions, Andre leaned against a nearby locker, providing a thoughtful viewpoint.
"Normal is boring, Tori. You don't have to conform to what others expect. Be yourself, and don't let someone like Jade bring you down."
With those words of wisdom, Andre left Tori to reflect on her own response to the unexpected challenges at Hollywood Arts. He headed back to class, leaving Tori standing alone in the empty hallway, contemplating the idea that perhaps normalcy was overrated.
Tori's departure from school was marked by a mix of frustration and embarrassment. The carefully chosen outfit she had adorned that morning, mostly white, now bore brown splotches from the coffee Jade had callously poured over her. Riding home on the city bus, she navigated through a sea of thoughts, the events of the day replaying in her mind.
Upon reaching home, Tori hurried up the stairs, seeking solace within the familiar confines of her room. Stripping off the stained clothes, she opted for the comfort of her most worn-in sweats, a subconscious choice reflecting the need for security and familiarity in the aftermath of the unsettling incident.
Seated in the quietude of her room, Tori dialed her father's number, her voice carrying a mixture of frustration and distress. As she recounted the events of the day, she couldn't help but express the desire to withdraw from Hollywood Arts and explore the possibility of homeschooling.
"Dad, you won't believe what happened at school today," Tori began, her words tumbling out in a rush. "Jade, this girl in my class, she did something so mean. I just can't take it, Dad. Can you please withdraw me from that school? Maybe we could try homeschooling?"
Her plea echoed through the phone, a plea tinged with vulnerability and a yearning for the reassurance that home could provide.
In the midst of his workday, David took a break to listen to his daughter Tori recounting the events of her challenging day at Hollywood Arts. He offered fatherly advice, encouraging Tori to face the situation head-on, asserting her place in the school she had rightfully earned.
"Go back there, Tori. You've earned your spot, and you've got what it takes. Show them all what you're made of," David reassured her.
As the call ended, Holly, David's wife, approached with lunch in hand. Their exchange was marked by a kiss that held the unmistakable traces of a long-standing, affectionate relationship – a display of love that bordered on the "gross and lovey-dovey."
"Hey, babe. How's your day going?" Holly inquired, her tone warm and familiar.
David, however, had more on his mind than just the events at work. He proceeded to share Tori's predicament with Holly, who mentally prepared herself for the inevitable drama that awaited her at home. Despite being the mother of two girls, Holly wasn't naturally inclined towards the stereotypical role of a "girl mom."
On her way out, David introduced Holly to Gary, his new partner. The moment was charged with subtle energy, an unspoken connection that both Holly and Gary tried to suppress. They exchanged pleasantries, but beneath the surface, a tension lingered – an acknowledgment of something unspoken between them.
"Gary, meet my wife, Holly. Holly, this is Gary, my new partner," David introduced, the air crackling with suppressed tension as their eyes met.
"Nice to meet you, Holly," Gary replied, his voice carrying an undertone of curiosity.
"Likewise," Holly responded, offering a polite smile tinged with unspoken tension, both attempting to mask the subtle connection that lingered between them, a connection that seemed to transcend mere formalities.
As Beck stormed away from Jade, frustration etched into his features, she pursued him, demanding an explanation for his reaction to her behavior towards the new student.
"Why do you even care that I was mean to some newbie?" Jade questioned, her tone defensive.
Beck turned to face her, his expression stern. "It's not about her, Jade. It's about the fact that you didn't trust me."
In a sharp retort, Jade countered, "It's weird how just after we, you know... you're running around defending other girls."
Sensing the need to change tactics, Beck softened his approach. He reached out to her, his voice gentle as he tried to assuage her feelings of jealousy.
"Jade, there's no one else but you," Beck reassured, his words sincere. He shifted the conversation, coaxing her away from the edge of her jealousy.
Internally, Beck acknowledged that he could do better in ensuring she never felt that way. Yet, there was a part of him that appreciated her fiery demeanor. Her jealousy, in a way, revealed her passion and care, something he found oddly endearing.
As they continued their conversation, Beck silently resolved to find a better balance, one where Jade felt secure and valued without losing the intensity that made her who she was.
Andre, Cat, and Robbie found themselves at the lunch table, the atmosphere colored by an unexpected wave of melancholy emanating from Andre. Cat, ever the perceptive one, couldn't resist probing into his emotional state.
"Is Tori the girl you've been crushing on?" she inquired with innocent curiosity.
Caught off guard, Andre sighed and admitted, "Yeah, she is."
He glanced around cautiously, ensuring Jade was not within earshot. Andre then implored them not to share this revelation, especially with Jade. However, fate had other plans as Beck and Jade sauntered over, their bodies entwined in an intimate embrace.
"Don't tell me what?" Jade's sharp inquiry cut through the air as she joined the group.
Andre, visibly irritated and cornered, rose from his seat, signaling that this revelation was not meant for Jade's ears.
Tori sat on her sofa, Pearbook in hand, watching the recording of her performance at Hollywood Arts. There was a spark in her eyes, a flicker of enjoyment that she hadn't anticipated. As she lost herself in the playback, a moment of genuine pride washed over her.
Her sister, Trina, walked into the room, observing Tori's reaction. "You shouldn't quit, you know," Trina remarked, breaking the silence.
Tori turned to her sister, a mixture of surprise and confusion on her face. "I thought you'd be happy to be rid of me," Tori admitted, voicing the uncertainty that lingered within her.
Trina, however, surprised Tori with her response. "As much as I'd love to keep the spotlight to myself, you're talented. I don't want to be known as the girl whose little sister couldn't hack it and quit after half a day of school. Show business requires a thick skin. If you let a little thing like this bother you, maybe you don't belong in it."
Trina's words struck a chord within Tori, prompting her to delve into a pool of contemplation. As she pondered the challenges of show business and the resilience it demanded, Tori grappled with the idea that perhaps quitting wasn't the solution. The encouragement from an unexpected source left her reconsidering her decision and contemplating the possibility of forging ahead in the demanding world of Hollywood Arts.
The familiar comfort of home didn't erase the unease that settled within Cat as she stepped into her room that evening. To her surprise, her brother was there, a sight that usually stirred a mix of emotions in her - fear, concern, and a deep-rooted love that transcended everything else.
A thrill of apprehension raced through her, but it was quickly tempered by a sense of relief as she noticed he was already medicated. Her brother looked at her, his eyes carrying a mix of guilt and remorse.
"I'm sorry for scaring you," he murmured, his voice filled with regret. "I never wanted to hurt you, Cat."
A wave of emotion swept through her, and she found herself urging him, almost pleading, "Promise me you'll always take your special medicine. Promise me, please."
Her brother remained silent, the weight of the promise heavy in the air between them. With a nod and a faint trace of a smile, he acknowledged her request and quietly left the room, leaving Cat to grapple with a mix of emotions that lingered long after he had gone.
Cat, seeking companionship, decided to call Jade to hang out. However, Jade had other plans and expressed her desire to spend time with Beck, suggesting that maybe they could hang out the next day. A twinge of disappointment crossed Cat's face as she processed Jade's response.
Undeterred, Cat pondered her options and decided to reach out to Robbie instead. With a renewed sense of excitement, she invited him to join her in a playful adventure of playing pirates. "Oh, that must be Robbie! He's right on time!" exclaimed Cat. She raced to the front door and opened it. Standing on the other side was her best friend, Robbie, dressed in full pirate regalia, complete with a patch over his left eye and a plastic parrot on his shoulder.
"Arrr, matey!" he greeted.
"Arr, me hearty!" responded Cat.
"I hope you're ready to have some swashbucklin' fun today!" said Robbie.
"Aye aye, captain!" replied Cat.
The two pirates spent the day sailing the seven seas and fighting off the dreaded scourge of the sea, Captain Blackbeard. They played pirates, sword-fighting, and buried treasure. They had a grand time and didn't want the day to end. But alas, the sun began to set and they knew it was time to go their separate ways.
"This has been the best day ever, Cat," said Robbie.
"Me too, Robbie," replied Cat. "I can't wait to play pirates again!"
As the two friends said their goodbyes, Cat felt a little pang of sadness. She didn't want to see her best friend go. And, even more surprising, she didn't want to see her favorite character leave, either. She felt an attraction to the handsome, yet dangerous pirate. She couldn't explain why, but she couldn't help but want him to stay and keep playing pirates. She knew it was wrong, but she couldn't help but fantasize about what would happen if she asked him to stay the night.
"Do you... Do you wanna spend the night?" she asked, hoping that he would say yes.
Robbie was taken aback by the question. He never expected to hear such a request from the sweet and innocent Cat. He felt a twinge of excitement but also a twinge of apprehension. Was this a trick? A trap? He looked into her eyes and saw nothing but innocence. His heart started to race.
He knew that he should say no, but the temptation was too great.
"Okay," he said.
Cat's heart skipped a beat. She couldn't believe it. He was going to spend the night! She felt a tingle between her legs. She couldn't believe it was happening, but it was.
"Well... come in then," she said, trying to act as normal as possible.
Robbie entered the house and Cat shut the door behind him. The two of them stood in silence for a moment, neither of them knowing what to say or do next.
"So... I guess we should go to bed then, right?" said Cat, breaking the silence.
"Yeah, I guess so," replied Robbie.
"Do you want to, um... sleep in my room?" she asked.
"Sure," said Robbie.
As the two of them walked up the stairs, Cat's heart was beating a mile a minute.
She couldn't believe that this was happening. She was about to have a sleepover with her best friend, who had been Robyn not too long ago. It was all she could do not to scream in excitement. This was the first time he was here as Robbie, and she really thought he was handsome.
They reached her room and Robbie plopped down on her bed. Cat couldn't help but giggle at how silly he looked with his pirate costume. She wondered if she should change out of her own costume too, but then decided against it.
"Well, uh, goodnight," said Robbie, pulling the covers over himself.
"Goodnight," said Cat.
The two of them lay in bed, facing away from each other. Neither of them could sleep. There were so many thoughts running through their minds. But Cat was the one who couldn't stop thinking about him. She turned over and saw the outline of his body under the sheets. She bit her lip, wondering if she should make a move.
"Are you... are you still awake?" she whispered.
"Yes," he replied.
"Can I... can I come over there?"
"Of course," said Robbie.
Cat slowly got up and tiptoed over to his side of the bed. She climbed in beside him and pulled the covers over the both of them. The two of them lay there, facing each other, both wondering what the other was thinking.
"Robbie, I..." Cat started, but she didn't know how to finish. She didn't know what she wanted to say, but she knew what she wanted to do.
Without saying a word, she leaned in and kissed him. Robbie was surprised, but he didn't pull away. He returned the kiss, and the two of them melted into each other's arms. Their kisses became deeper and more passionate.
Robbie couldn't believe what was happening. His best friend was kissing him, and it felt amazing. He wanted more. He kissed her back and wrapped his arms around her. He couldn't get enough of her.
The two of them explored each other's bodies, touching and caressing each other in a way they never had before. Cat couldn't believe how good it felt. She had never been with anyone like this, and she didn't want it to end. She wanted him to take her, right there, in her bed. She wanted to feel him inside her.
"Robbie," she moaned, "I want you."
Robbie looked into her eyes and saw how badly she wanted him. He felt the same way. He had been dreaming about this for months. Testosterone had increased his need for her, and now it was finally happening.
"I want you too," he whispered.
He reached down and touched her, feeling her wetness through her clothes. He slipped his hand under her panties and began to stroke her, teasing her, making her moan and gasp with pleasure. She writhed under his touch, wanting more, needing more.
"Please," she begged.
Robbie couldn't take it anymore. He needed her. He kissed her and removed her clothes, exposing her beautiful body. She was perfect, and he was going to make her his.
He hesitated to remove his own clothes ,and Cat sat ran her hand through his hair then reached for the hem of his shirt. She bit her lips and pulled up, finding his binding. She looked at him as she reached for the bottom of his binding to pull it off. "It's okay Robbie." She whispered, "I think you're beautiful."
Robbie's face crumpled and let her take his binding off, allowing his beautiful breast free from them. What a waste cat thought as she appreciated the beautiful globes that will soon be gone. She leaned forward and took one into her mouth. Robbie shuddered. He moaned and reached out to Cat's tiny mounds.
He finished undressing himself, and climbed on top of Cat , his fingers pressed against her button. She gasped as she felt it, and she was overcome with desire. She had never felt so turned on in her life.
"Please, Robbie, please," she begged, wrapping her legs around him and pulling him closer.
Robbie couldn't wait any longer. He plunged into her, filling her With three fingers. She cried out in pleasure and ecstasy. He began to move, thrusting into her, deeper and harder with each stroke. She imitated him, and thrilled at hearing him moaning and gasping, at the same time she was feeling him inside her.
"Oh God, Robbie," she cried, "I'm going to come!"
Robbie continued to thrust, driving her wild with pleasure. He could feel her tightening around him, and he knew she was close.
"Come for me, Cat," he whispered.
She cried out his name as her climax hit, waves of pleasure washing over her. Her orgasm triggered his own as she curled her fingers deep inside her, both lovers spilling their fluid all over Cat's bed.
They lay there, holding each other, their bodies intertwined. Neither of them could believe what had just happened. The Cat was unsure about what this meant. But that was tomorrow's Cat problem.
"Robbie, I... I don't know what to say," said Cat.
"You don't have to say anything," said Robbie. "That was amazing."
Cat smiled and snuggled into him. "Yeah, it was."
They fell asleep in each other's arms, blissfully unaware of the consequences that would soon follow.
Gary wearily unlocked the front door, bracing himself for what awaited him inside. The house was dimly lit, shadows dancing on the walls as if mirroring the storm that lurked within. The distant clink of glass against glass echoed through the hallway, a haunting precursor to the volatile scene that awaited him.
As he stepped into the living room, the acrid scent of alcohol assaulted his senses. There, slouched on the couch, was his wife, her eyes glazed over with the haze of inebriation. The room felt heavy with tension, a thick fog of apprehension settling upon Gary's shoulders.
"Gary, you're home," she slurred, a sinister smile playing on her lips. Her words were laced with a venomous edge, a stark contrast to the semblance of normalcy that once inhabited their home.
Gary tried to maintain a calm façade, a worn-out mask that concealed the turmoil within. "Hey, I'm home," he replied cautiously, taking a measured step forward.
Without warning, she hurled a glass across the room, its shattering impact amplifying the volatile atmosphere. "You're always late, never here when I need you," she spat, the venom in her words matching the bitterness etched across her face.
His attempts to diffuse the situation were futile, and the air crackled with an unsettling tension. Suddenly, she lunged at him, her actions fueled by a toxic mix of anger and intoxication. Gary, a battered man both physically and emotionally, attempted to shield himself from the onslaught.
The scene unfolded in a disturbing ballet of chaos – a symphony of shattered glass, muffled cries, and the haunting echoes of an unraveling home. Gary, trapped in this cyclical nightmare, grappled with the harsh reality of his existence, each blow a silent testimony to the silent agony that reverberated within the walls of his home.
Cat, the morning after playing pirates with Robbie, found herself at the pharmacy where her brother obtained his special medicine. Regret gnawed at her, a weight on her conscience for having let things go too far in the guise of a game.
As she stood in the aisle, a swirl of conflicted emotions clouded her thoughts. Robbie had made her feel loved, a sentiment she yearned for in the midst of her sense of abandonment. Yet, the reality of their intimate encounter hit her hard – a reminder that the consequences of her actions extended beyond the boundaries of a playful game.
She hesitated, contemplating the potential repercussions. A fleeting thought crossed her mind – If Robbie was a biological boy, she would be here for a morning-after pill… a baby could fill the void, and offer the love she craved. Maybe she should be with real boys from now on. Forget Robbie altogether. Then she headed toward the counter and handed the boy behind the till the script she came to pick up.
He was cute, with dark brown hair and dimples just like her own. She smiled coquettishly. "Hi…"
"Hey," He said. He looked a little sad, so Cat pouted.
"I'm Cat," she said.
"Daniel." He said and rang her up then handed her the product.
"Why so sad?" She asked.
"Just broke up with my girlfriend a couple of weeks ago, not quite over it yet." He stated and Cat got the picture. He needed time.
"That's too bad. I hope you feel better soon." She said and flashed her dimples and batted her eyes as she paid and walked out of the pharmacy. She'd wear him down. He was very cute. "Bye!"
In the midst of Sikowitz's unconventional entrance through the window, a whirlwind of LSD-induced restlessness gripped him. As he tried to ground himself in the reality of the classroom, the new girl entered, capturing the attention and respect of everyone present. With a still-spinning head, Sikowitz decided to initiate the Alphabet improv game, seeking volunteers to participate.
Tori, the new girl, graciously stepped up, and Sikowitz, with a mischievous glint in his eyes, called for the letter 'P.' The selected participants, including Jade, Andre, Beck, and Cat, gathered for an improvised exchange.
"Please get out of my face" Jade started off.
"Question, were you born a bitch, or did you have to work at it? " Tori asked.
"Relax!" Beck implored.
"I know right?- Oh man! I got distracted again." Cat stated and headed to her seat. She frowned a bit as she was starting to feel the cramps from the meds she had taken in the morning.
"Someone here owes someone an apology." Andre stated
"There's no way I'm apologizing she was rubbing on my boyfriend.' Jade responded
"Under what circumstances was being polite to him hitting on him." Tori stated plainly, "You don't even know me."
"Very well, let's hash it out in front of everyone slut." Jade said confronting Tori.
"Wait, what's that over there? Beck said.
"Hey! Is that … Shit… sorry… " Andre sat down.
"Xanax, you need a fucking Xanax," Tori said with a dismissive roll of her eyes. She didn't take the distraction from the boys.
"Zero is what you are from one to 10 "Jade stated pointing a finger at Tori's face.
"Alright ladies you don't need to fight over me." Beck tried secretly loving the tension
Tori looks at him. "Boy, please. I am not fighting."
Jade looked at Tori. "Can't believe you."
"Don't need a man not now not ever." Tori asserted trying to make them understand where she stood with her own self-discovery without telling it outright.
Jade stated. "Everyone wants a boyfriend and everyone wants mine."
"Forget it, I'm not gonna bother," Tori said with a shrug. "You just want to hate me no matter what."
Going to sit here, I guess they don't need me." Beck said, sighing and waiting for a turn.
"He's mine bitch and you better remember that. Jade stated flatly
"I will never forget it. " Tori said
"Just what are you insinuating?" Jade asked.
Tori shook her head trying to explain that she didn't want Beck. "Knowing what I want has never been more clear."
"Loser say what? " Jade tried baiting Tori into failing.
"Muy graciosa…" Tori mumbled
"No foreign languages!"Jade protests.
"Okay, I'll translate," The Latina replies, "How mature. "
"Please tempt me with a good time," Jade said lunging toward the girl, and Beck finally stepped in to hold her back.
"Queen of weird say What?" Tori says turning Jade's tactic back at her.
"What?" The raven-haired girl stated then scrunched her face up in anger. "OOOOO H." she stomped off angrily to her seat..
Beck finally interjects, "Really have to talk to her later. "
"Sorry, but, Your bitch is psycho. " Tori said rolling her eyes
"Totally," Beck agreed. Jade narrowed her eyes from her seat.
"Understandable though," Tori smirked.
"Victoria is your name right?"
"Well, You can call me Tori."
"X-rays will be needed if you fight Jade," Beck warned.
" You know, I ain't scared…"
"Shit… I'm stuck…" he said with a grin. "You win. They shake hands."
Beck and Andre found themselves seated in Beck's RV, a casual conversation about girls and relationships unfolding between them."Jade and I finally hit… Man, she's always on you know?" Beck said taking a sip of his Rootbeer.
Andre looked over at him.'No, she's not. She loves you and thinks you'll cheat on her with one of those girls that keep hanging on you, that's the only reason she wants you all the time."
"And it's like all the time you know!"
"Yeah Yeah.. that's my friend, Man," Andre said though he was angry with her right now. "You better take care of her or I will beat your ass."
"Noted." As the discussion meandered through various topics, it inevitably circled back to Tori, the enigmatic new girl who had stirred up a fair share of attention.
"So Tori's the girl you have this crush on?" Beck guessed.
"Yeah I mean, look at her Beck!" He stated. "That girl is so fine!"
"That she is…" Beck said then bit his lower lip.
"She is likely into you since Jade is crazy jealous of her being around you," Andre said rolling his eyes.
"She's Jealous of a chihuahua sitting on my lap," Beck stated. "Tori's not into me."
"Then maybe I gotta shot," Andre said with a smile.
Beck, leaning back comfortably, seemed nonchalant about the subject. "Forget it, Andre," he suggested a hint of amusement in his tone. "Tori's into chicks."
Andre, raising an eyebrow in skepticism, wasn't quick to buy into Beck's assertion. "What? No way, man. She's into guys. I mean, I kissed her."
Beck, ever the calm and collected voice of reason, leaned forward, a subtle smirk playing on his lips. "Maybe she doesn't even know yet," he mused, a suggestion that Tori's preferences might still be in the process of self-discovery.
With an air of curiosity and intrigue, Beck decided to demonstrate his point. "Watch," he said, a mischievous glint in his eyes, as if about to unveil a revelation about Tori's romantic inclinations. "Watch how she looks at me, then Watch how she looks at my Girlfriend…"
"Man Tori hates Jade," Andre stated.
"But Tori has eyes…" Beck stated. And before Andre could protest he continued. "And doesn't know not to cross Jade I saw it in the improv."
Andre frowned. "I'll watch, but I'mma shoot my shot if I see the opportunity."
"Fair enough," Beck said and clinked his bottle of Soda with Andre.
