Makna Forest - Near Agni Tablet
"I see we arrived at a forest now ? It sure is hot here, anyway is this everyone ?" Chelsea turned around looking at her teammates, there's Shulk, Pikachu, Robin, Ness, Donkey Kong, and Wario.
"Yep, this is all of us." Confirmed Robin, "so does anyone had any idea where we are ?"
Everyone was looking around until Pikachu pointed at a stone formation, Shulk then realized the familiar rock formation Pikachu walked into. "Wait a minute, I recognized this rock, it's Agni Stone Tablet ! We're in Bionis, in Makna Forest to be precise !"
"Ah so this is where you from then Shulk ? So do you know your way around or.."
"I do Ness, I've went this way when I need to go to Alcamoth !" Explained the Hom.
"The last time I went here I didn't get to look around the places outside the colony, I must say the waterfall over there is breathtaking." Robin pointed at the waterfall behind.
"What an amazing view, I have to say I think this one beats Niagara Falls any day." Remarked Chelsea.
"Okay everyone we're getting sidetracked here, while I love to use this view to make money, weren't we on the lookout for Dracula's minions, I don't see how a forest is useful for them !" Pointed Wario.
"True, not sure if there's anyone to harm or something around these parts, what do you think Shulk ? You are the native here ?" Asked DK.
"Maybe not here, but there is a village not far from here called Frontier Village home of the Nopons, hopefully Dracula's minions doesn't end up there, but we have to make sure regardless."
"Shall we still check it out then ? We can't let Dracula's minions harm anyone in this world." Suggested Robin.
"Yeah we should, even if they're not at the village many Nopons work as travelling merchants, it would be bad if Dracula's minions attacked them while travelling." Explained Shulk.
"Merchants you say ? Can't let an opportunity like this to go to waste can I, well what are we waiting for, I have future business partners to look out for !" Wario feeling a business opportunity close at hand Wario rushing ahead.
"Honestly does he even think money from other world may be useless in his own world ?" Ness giving up on Wario, decided to just to go with it.
"*Sigh* Let's go follow him, this forest is full of dangerous animals." Said Shulk in an apathetic tone.
Makna Forest - After Crossing Bridge One
The heroes walked further to the forest, with DK the last one to cross Bridge One.
"Well it's a good thing that bridge sturdier than it looks, I was afraid I was gonna fall off." DK commented on the rope bridge.
"Yeah whose big idea was it to build a bridge made out of rope, anyone can fall to the sea below !" Complained Wario.
"Look, let's just be glad all of us made it safely, a rope bridge is the least of our worries, there's dangerous animals lurking further in, and...not to mention there's two more bridges like this so...yeah, I think you know." Commented Shulk which make the others to groan in unison.
"The other two better be as sturdy as the previous one !" Complained Wario as the heroes keep on going.
"This place sure has large mushrooms, we don't have mushrooms this size on Earth." Chelsea the Wii Fit trainer commented on the gigantic mushrooms.
"So are in Ylisse, I wonder if I can experiments with the plants here." Murmured Robin.
"Aha ! That's it ! We should make something here, and sell it to otherworlds ! Seeing they don't have what this world have we can sell it for an outrageous prices hehehehe !" Wario rubbing his hands and drooling at the thought of how much money he can make by selling things that can't be found in other worlds.
As the heroes walking while chatting amongst themselves the noticed lion like creatures slowly approaching them.
"Shulk those are ?" Whispered Ness.
"Makna Feris, they're quite aggressive and fast moving, be on your guard !" Shulk readies his Monado and everyone else also ready for a fight.
There are four Makna Ferises in front of them slowly approaching the heroes, but then one of them lunge toward the heroes which Shulk react and block it's claws with his sword. The other three then follow suit, Robin readied his tome and cast Elfire, which shoot a fireball and burn the ground on front of the Ferises, forcing the lion monsters to stand down, however one of them run right and another one run left, surrounding the heroes in the process.
DK backed Shulk up and punched the Makna Feris that clashing with his sword, his strong punch send the beast flying until it hit a nearby tree. The two Makna Ferises in the back charging in only for Wario to turn around and unleashed his deadly fart, which pained his allies and enemies alike, Robin then warned his allies to run away as he cast another Elfire, combined with Wario's fart it create an explosion that badly harmed the Makna Ferises, Pikachu and Ness combined both Thunderbolt and PK Thunder which severely electrocuted the third Makna Feris, as they seemed to be defeated, the one that DK punched walked back albeit very weak as it sustained enough injury.
"You weren't kidding Shulk they are persistent, but we still won't be anyone's lunch, sorry about this, but take this !" Chelsea then summoned one of her hula hoop and throw it at the Makna Feris like a frisbee or a chakram which hit the beast right on the head as it fell down unconscious.
"Well that took care of them, I'm guessing there are more like them ?" Asked Robin.
"Yes, we have to be in our guard, at least until we reach the village." With that in mind the heroes continue their walk, but then Chelsea then noticed something familiar on one of the trees.
"Is that a crow ?" Pondered Chelsea as the bird she thinks a crow quickly flew away.
"Did you say something ?" Asked Shulk.
"Yeah, I saw a crow on that tree !" Answered Chelsea.
"What is that ? Some kind of monster from your world ?" Asked Shulk.
"Uhh, not exactly a monster but it is an animal from Earth, see our wildlife are nothing like your world Shulk, or any of your worlds for the matter." Chelsea pointed out the huge difference of wildlife between Earth and other worlds, and while she talks there's a giant caterpillar walk past them. "Seriously, how is it you all able to survive this far with monsters like that is beyond me."
"Wildlife comparison aside we should after this crow thing Chelsea mentioned, it would be bad for it to appear in unfamiliar environment." Shulk and the others continue walking as they also keep a lookout for the crow Chelsea saw.
Meanwhile...

"They're here, good thing I decided to send my pets to scout the area, Bionis and Mechonis huh ? Not bad at all, Lord Dracula would be pleased to know this place will be under his control, he might even make me the ruler of this world.*
"Confident Lord Dracula would choose you huh Karasuman ? If anything my experiments are far more contributing than yours." Igor reprimanded the bird demon.
"Calm down Igor, there are Bionis and Mechonis, and if you're into experiments so much maybe Lord Dracula will let you rule Mechonis, there are abundance of machines there anyway, with Meyneth and Zanza gone, this world is ripe for the taking, and when those mortals realize what's going on it will be too late." Replied Karasuman. "Just like what we did now."
"Yes, and I also didn't expect these things to showed up here, you have no idea what their spores are capable of." Igor continue working with the spores he found.
"Now let's lead those heroes to their doom."
Makna Forest - Bridge Two
"Great another rope bridge, is it really that hard to make bridge using metals ? At least their sturdiness is guaranteed !" Complained Wario.
"Yeah, I guess I really should tell them to changed the bridge, it's not too far now just past this bridge and another one and we will arrive at Frontier Village where the Nopons live." Said Shulk as he encouraged his teammates to keep going.
"So Shulk this Nopons, what are they look like ?" Asked Ness.
"Right I haven't tell you all about it, do you remember my final smash back then ?"
"Yes Shulk, you summoned your friends to beat up your enemies, just like me summoning Chrom to do finish my opponents as well." Robin pointed the similarity between him and Shulk final smash.
"Yes, and you did see a small round creature during my final smash right ? His name is Riki and he's a Nopon, that's what they look like." Answered Shulk. "Remember Robin, you met him when you got here before."
"Yeah I remember, I just didn't bother to ask what he is." Replied Robin.
"That so, then that makes Nopons are an entire species of adorable creatures then." Said Chelsea.
"Yes, but don't let that fool you, many Nopons realize how adorable they are, so they often took advantage of their looks to gain huge sales, not to mention there's one Nopon who are the worst of them all." But before Shulk can speak his name the crow Chelsea saw found resting on the bridge rope handle.
"There it is ! I knew I saw a crow here !"
"We need to be careful, we need to capture it and bring it back to Chelsea's world." Stated Robin.
The heroes focused on trying to secure the crow they didn't realize there's something behind them, a gust of wind can be felt from behind, shaking the bridge, and with the shaking the crow flew away again.
"What the ?" Ness turned around to see five owl like monsters with four wings flapping their wings, creating the gust of winds that shook the bridge.
"Jungle Quadwings ! Everyone we need to get away from here !" Yelled Shulk.
"How ? We're barely able to move with all this shaking !" Said DK as he and everyone else holding on to the bridge.
The Jungle Quadwings continue their assault, and now they begin to use one of their techniques air slicer, which cutting off the rope.
"Shulk ! The rope is about to snap !" Yelled Ness.
Pikachu who can attack from a distance ready to use Thunder, however the birds descend closer to the bridge, which Pikachu realize if it use Thunder Pikachu also attacking the bridge, it then stopped it's attack.
Robin realized something's amiss as he spoke to Shulk, "Shulk these birds are too smart for mere animals, were they really this intelligent !"
"That can't be, they shouldn't be, they're just animals !" Just then the Jungle Quadwings ceased their attacks, but then in front another bird monster appeared in front of the heroes.
"Makna Ansel ! They shouldn't be here ! This isn't their habitat !" Shouted Shulk.
The Jungle Quadwings and Makna Ansel attack at the same time which finally cut the bridge and the heroes fell down below.
"Aaahhhh heeelp I'm too rich to die !" Screamed Wario.
("Is this it ? Is this the end for us ?") As Robin almost gave up he remembered about the monsters gathered in the sanctuary, Robin then use a summoning magic to summon an Argorok, a magic circle appeared above the water surface and a black armored dragon appeared, snatching the heroes and save them from their fall.
"We're saved !" Exclaimed Ness. "Oh wait, I can just float using my PSI power.
"Oh duh, I can just use my captain or wicked form to turn into submarine or fly." Remembered Wario.
"Or teleport away using our golden plate, but I guess the panic from falling really prevent us from thinking straight huh ?" Commented Shulk.
"So Shulk what with those birds that attacked us ?" Asked Chelsea.
"I don't know, but their behavior is completely unusual, Jungle Quadwings usually reside at trees and dont go too far, Makna Ansel usually can be found at the waterfall we pass by earlier." Answered Shulk.
"But don't you think it's weird ? It's like they're breaking their usual pattern just to kill us ?" Added Robin.
"They're might be controlled but that's only speculation on my part, anyway we should hurry to the village, if this happens to all the monsters, the village might be in danger !" Replies Shulk.
"Still, smart move summoning an Argorok to save us Robin." Complimented Chelsea.
"Honestly I panicked just as you all are, I desperately think a way to save us, and I remember the monsters we have at the sanctuary." Answered Robin.
"Looks like Ganondorf does have a point in gathering monsters like this, but still we better expand our options, there's got to be more large flying creatures we can find." Said DK.
"There's a Pegasus and Wyverns in where I'm from, but they're only able to carry maximum two people." Answered Robin.
"You guys, it looks like those bird monsters are gone, we should head to the village straight away with the Argorok." Suggested Chelsea.
"Yeah, it would save us time, alright then next stop Frontier Village !" The Argorok then ascend higher until the heroes back to the forest, and fly straight to the village.
Makna Forest - ground after crossing Bridge Three
The heroes gets closer to the Frontier Village in such a short time, as they travel through air with the Argorok.
Shulk pointed to the giant tree to his teammates, "Almost there everyone, just a little bit and...whoa !" The Argorok started acting strange as it descend down for some reason.
"Why is it land here ? Isn't the Village still a bit further ? Wait what's that smell ?" Chelsea started smelling something sweet and fragrant. "Is this a perfume ? It feels so alluring." Chelsea seemed very mesmerized by the smell
"Chelsea you okay ? This smells so good, where is it come from ? I must get to the source.." Donkey Kong also felt lured by the sweet smell.
"Yeah, let's forget the village for now, we should see where the smell come from." Shulk started to be mesmerized this time, and it won't be long until the others felt lured by the smell.
The heroes walked like a zombie as they're too mesmerized by the smell to walk properly, during the walk Pikachu stumbled upon a tree root, which caused it to trip and fell, as Pikachu got up it saw an animal skeleton in front of it. Pikachu shocked by the fear have snapped it out from the trance, Pikachu saw animal skeleton everywhere, Pikachu panicked and tried to catch up to it's teammates and tried to shook them from the trance, but nothing worked. Pikachu noticed 6 pitcher plants in front hanging on a rock wall under a tree shade it's a large plant with yellow body and a pair of leaves on it right and left side, upon a closer look Pikachu realized what's really going on, those plants aren't ordinary plants it's actually Victreebells luring their prey using Sweet Scent, and the animal bones are the victims of the Victreebells to mesmerized by the scent to fight back. Having no choice Pikachu used Thundershock on it's teammates to wake them up, and it worked, the jolt returned them to their senses.
"Ouch what happened !?" Shouted Shulk covered in soot.
"Pika Pika !" Pikachu take charge and used Quick Attack to fight off the Victreebells, ruining their disguise.
"What are those !? Shulk ?" Asked Ness.
"I don't know, I never saw something like that here before ! Are those plants the reason this is happening to us !?" Questioned Shulk.
With it's meal ruined the Victreebells gone for the offensive, all of them shoot Razor Leaf toward the heroes, which get them to dodge, with... varying degrees of success.
"Hey are those Razor Leaves !?" Shouted Wario as his overall received a few cuts, o e of them in the 'lower back' area. "Hey Pikachu are we dealing with a Pokemon !?"
Pikachu nodded, confirming Wario's question.
Two Victreebels move closer and spread out Poisonpowder against the heroes, Shulk tried to fend iit off, however it obviously doesn't work and he inhaled the Poisonpowder, Shulk then infected with poison as he fell to one knee.
"Shulk ! Shulk are you okay !? DK rushed to save his friend, but Pikachu used Light Screen to block DK from going further.
"Pikachu what arre you doing ? Shulk needs our help !" Yelled DK.
"Pikachu, those purple powders, they're dangerous do they ?" Asked Chelsea which Pikachu nodded.
Another two Victreebels used Leaf Tornado, they spin around and create a green tornado which attack the heroes, making them all fell down, in the meantime another Victreebels face off with the Argorok, seeing Argorok close to a dragon type Victreebels use Sleep Powder instead, putting the Hyrulean dragon to sleep.
"This isn't good, if only we understood Pikachu, we may know how to beat this man eating plants." Said Robin who fell down and struggling to get up.
"Let me try something, I should be able to talk to Pikachu using telepathy." Ness then used his psychic powers to speak with Pikachu, asking any info about Victreebels. "Aha aha ha I see."
Victreebels then throw Acids toward the heroes, Robin almost escape it as his coat melted from touching the Acid, while everyone else also have Acid only touching their clothes.
"According to Pikachu they're weak to fire attacks ?" Answered Ness.
"I can't use my fire tomes, that might burn the forest as well." Replied Robin.
"Pika Pika !"
"Oh Pikachu also said, they're weak to ice, psychic, and flying attacks ?" Questioned Ness.
"Pika Pika !"
"Robin maybe wind attacks can be substitute to flying attacks ! As for me, take this you you man eating plants PK Freeze !" Ness shoot PK Freeze toward one of the Victreebels, Freezing it solid, with Ness follow up using PK Flash, dishing out major damage and knocked it unconscious.
Robin then use his wind tome and casting Elwind at another Victreebel, and of course it works well just as any other flying type attacks, the Victreebel fell down, with little health the Victreebel used Stockpile and Swallow to heal itself.
The other four Victreebels then spreading Poisonpowder, Sleep Powder, and Stun Spore to attack the heroes, Pikachu however protect everyone using Light Screen, creating a cube shaped force field protect everyone from the powder attacks.
"Pika Pika !"
"I see, those powders can cause sleep and paralysis." Explained Ness.
"No fair, those powders are outright cheating, they're playing dirty to win !" Complained DK.
The Victreebels unleashed a flurry of Razor Leaves against the heroes, and as Light Screen can only protect against special attacks, the Light Screen quickly dissipates as the heroes have to dodge the attacks again. Chelsea create the Sun Salutation in her hand and throw it at the Victreebels, blinding them, Robin then cast another Elwind while Ness use another PK Flash, and since this time the Victreebels stand near each other the PK Flash hits them all, but that's not enough to defeat the man eating plant Pokemon.
And then from behind a powerful column of ether appeared and strike down the Victreebels, sending them flying closer to the heroes direction to everyone surprise it's Shulk using one of his Monado Arts, Shulk barely able to stand thanks to the poison, but he did gave an opening for his teammates, DK then create a shockwave by clapping his hands together, the impact send them flying back again, as the battle's turns to the heroes favor the Victreebels fell to the grounds that exposed to the sun, exposed to sunlight Victreebels Chlorophyll ability is activated, making them move faster then usual.
They shoot another barrage of Razor Leaf which Robin counters by creating a magic barrier this time.
"Pika Pika !"
"Pikachu said it has an idea, leave this to me ! I have an idea as well" With everyone's agreement Ness and Pikachu teleported behind the Victreebels, Pikachu then use Double Team followed by Agility, Pikachu and it's clones run around the Victreebels, confusing them while Ness use PSI Healing on Shulk, curing his poisoning, he also use it again on the Argorok, waking it up from the sleep.
"So that's their plan, Pikachu distract the Pokemons while Ness remove the ailments from Shulk and Argorok.
Pikachu then closing it's distance, the encircling getting smaller and smaller, as the Victreebels stands completely next to each other Pikachu use Thunder Wave to paralyse the Victreebels.
"They caused us enough trouble already, let's finish them !" Robin removed the barrier and the heroes get closer to the Victreebels, thanks to the paralysis they're unable to freely move their body, Wario returned to his normal clothes jumped high with DK follow suit, the two of them unleashed a double Ground Pound on the Victreebels, crushing them under their weight and defeated them all.
"That took care of them, how do you feel Shulk ?" Asked Chelsea.
"I'm fine, Ness is healing me right now, which reminds me I should do this myself." Shulk used the Heal arts on himself, allowing for fast recovery combined wiht Ness PSI Lifeup.
"So ? Are they dead ?" Robin tried to come closer and touch the Grass type Pokemon, only to find they're still alive, just unconscious. "Oh wow Pokemons sure made of sturdy stuff, I don't know if I will still be alive crushed by Donkey Kong and Wario like that ?"
"What should we do ? Pokemons doesn't belong in Bionis, and look at the bones scattered here, they will ruined the ecosystem if they keep devouring the wildlife here." Said Ness.
"For now we should send them to the Sanctuary, but first." Robin cast a spell on the Victreebels, a magic spell, a sleeping magic that so strong waking up normally is impossible. "We're gonna have to ask Red about this, he's the Pokemon expert."
"Alright, I'm all better now, let's go to the Village." Shulk and the others ride on the Argorok again to head to the Frontier Village.
"How did Pokemons appear on this world ?" Asked Chelsea.
"I don't know, but it's likely the walls between dimensions are getting distorted, which is why creatures that shouldn't be on this world showed up." Answered Shulk.
"Those Pokemons are dangerous, this scent lured us in and put us in a trance like state, if they had their way we would've been eaten alive without resistance, I wonder if people in Red's world... you know have a high mortality rate ?" Pondered Robin.
"Only he knows, but we still should watch out, it looks like for Pokemons their opponents size don't really matter, hopefully that's the only one we saw." Stated Chelsea.
"Yeah, hopefully no Nopons were lured by that scent and eaten." Said Shulk with worry.
Frontier Village - Village Entrance
Shulk and his allies landed in the Village entrance, they get down from the Argorok and went inside the giant tree.
"Okay Argorok, you stay put and don't eat anyone, we'll call you if there's danger." Commanded Shulk which the dragon obeys, the heroes then make their way to the village.
"Hmph ! Hopefully it will be more of a help next time ! The Hyrulean fauna isn't as fearsome as Ganondorf said." Complained Wario because the Argorok fell asleep in the previous battle.
"Come on Wario, we're also to blame, if it weren't for Pikachu we all would be plant food, besides I had no idea Pokemon had such varied technique, when Red joins the tournament I don't think his Pokemons fought that dirty." Explained Ness.
"Probably because of the tournament rules, imagine if they can paralyze, poison you, and make you sleep, won't that be unfair ? I mean the tournament rules prevent us from going all out to make things fair during combat." Stated DK.
"Agreed, Red already fought using three monsters already, any less restriction will make things harder for victory, like me I'm already use ng four magic times of different elements already, anymore would make things unfair, and besides it does encourage creativity in defeating your opponents." Added Robin.
"Oh yeah ! Peach Final Smash put us to sleep, how about that huh !?" Pointed Wario.
"That's only during her final smash, this is putting everyone to sleep at will, there's a difference." Retorted Chelsea. "What about you Wario ? You can transform and thise transformation gave you unique abilities and yet you never do that in the tournament."
"It's all those blasted rules I tell you ! If it weren't for those rules i could go all out with my arsenal of transformation, victory will be easy for me." Boasted Wario.
"Don't forget Wario, if those restriction doesn't apply to you, it doesn't apply to all of us you know, I could always heal and buff myself during battle making myself harder to beat." Ness comment ended up shutting Wario up as he knows what Ness trying to say. "I wish Master Hand would pick weak people for me to fight."
"You know that's not possible, there's a reason we're all chosen to compete." After walking a bit further the heroes finally reached Frontier Village. "Here we are Frontier Village home of the Nopons." Declared Shulk.
Everyone went inside only to find no one's inside the tree.
"There's no one inside." Commented Chelsea.
"Wait, you don't think...!"
"Calm down Shulk let's not jump to conclusions, we should search the entire place first." Suggested Robin.
"Sorry you're right, alright everyone let's look around the village !" Shulk and everyone look around the village for any Nopons.
After searching the entire first level...
"Well no ones here, should we try the upper levels next ?" Suggested Chelsea.
"Yeah, there's a stairs at the left side of the pond, we'll head there." As the heroes headed upstairs a Nopon actually walk down from the upper level.
"Riki !" Exclaimed Shulk. "I see you're back here."
"Shulk ! Here to visit Riki ?" Said the Nopon.
"Yeah, but first everyone this is Riki a friend of mine during my travels, Riki, these are my friends from other world's, of course you already meet Robin, this is Chelsea, Donkey Kong, Ness, Wario, and Pikachu." Shulk introduce everyone to Riki.
Riki make a pose while introducing himself doing a thumbs up with his right ear. "Nice to meet new friends, Riki is the heropon of this village."
"Aww he's adorable." Chelsea gushed at the sight of Riki.
"So his kind use their looks to get people to buy stuff huh ? I'm impressed." Stated Wario.
"Riki's not like that, heropon doesn't lie to friends for stuff." Riki objected Wario's claim.
"So this small guy is one of your allies during your travels, he doesn't seem strong." Commented DK.
"You'll be surprised to see what Riki can do, so anyway Riki we're here to see if things are alright, you know after the Mechon attack." Inquire Shulk.
After hearing Shulk question Riki somehow behaving suspiciously. "Village is safe, there's nothing wrong so Shulk and friends can go away now." Riki trying to push the heroes away using his ears.
"Are you sure Riki ? Why is it feels like you're trying to push us away ?" Asked Shulk.
"*Gasp* Shulk accused Riki of getting rid of Shulk, friends being unreasonable, Riki just said everything's alright." Riki denying the accusation.
"Then where is everyone ?" Asked Shulk.
"They're inside the house, today is Nopon holiday, we don't come out until the days over, so out you go." Again Riki tried to push the heroes out of the village.
Unbeknownst to anyone Ness used telepathy to read Riki's mind, and indeed there is something wrong. "Okay Mr. Riki, we'll be on our way, but first Pikachu Thunder Wave !" Obeying Ness Pikachu execute Thunder Wave which paralyze Riki. "Everyone there's something wrong with this village I can tell Riki's been brainwashed !"
"I knew it ! Sorry Riki, but we're investigating this !" Shulk and the others rushed upstairs to investigate the problem with Riki unable to do anything being paralysed.
"Friends...get...back here..., Riki will not stand for this !" Screamed Riki as he struggled to move.
Frontier Village - Second Level
As the heroes arrived to the second level the village they were greeted by a purple Nopon right at the beginning of the second level as if he's expecting Shulks arrival.
"Hello Shulk, it's been a while since you last visit our village, is there anything I can do for you ?" Asked the purple Nopon.
"Yes, umm it's nice to see you again Chief Dunga, it's just Riki's been brainwashed, did something happened here !?" Questions the Hom.
"What ! Riki's been brainwashed ? I had no idea such a thing happened, Shulk we're very grateful with all you've done so far, but right now it's time for us Nopons to fix our own problems, and we can't keep relying on you to fix our problems for us all the time, I'll get to the bottom of this so you can just leave it to us, I'm sure you have more important things to do elsewhere." Chief Dunga also tried to push the heroes away, but the Heroes aren't fooled especially Ness. He teleported himself and everyone behind Chief Dunga.
"You're brainwashed too ! And we won't leave until we got to the bottom of this !" Declared the PSI boy.
The heroes then heard a sound of bird squawking, it's the crow from earlier, it fly in the middle of the second level of Frontier Village, soon after a figure teleported behind the crow revealing Karasuman is in the village.
"Ugh psychics ! They always ruined your plan before you can even execute them, I should've eliminate you first !" Yelled the crow demon.
"You ! Karasuman ! One of Dracula's high ranking minions !" Shouted Donkey Kong.
"Wait a minute so that crow was your doing ?" Realized Chelsea.
"Yes human, a crow can function as my eyes and ears, in fact it's not just crows who can do that, remember the bridge ?"
"Those birds from Makna Forest ! It was you ! You control them, no wonder there's something's off about them !" Realized Shulk.
"That's right, I was hoping to finish you off at the forest, but you just have to be resourceful and ended up escaping your doom, no matter I will finish you off right here and now ! Chief Dunga just like we planned."
"Right away master Karasuman !" Chief Dunga picked up a phial of strange potion, he run down to the first level and make Riki drink the potion, healing him from the paralysis, Riki then run upstairs to confront the heroes. Chief Dunga then hid himself to avoid fighting.
"Riki will defeat friends, and Lord Dracula will reign over Bionis and Mechonis !"
"Excellent statement hero of Nopons let's finish off those Intruders !" Karasuman and Riki ready to fight the heroes.
Riki made the first move by using his Yoink! Talent art, he stole Shulk's Monado from him.
"What hey ! Riki give that back !" Shulk chased after Riki, but Karasuman summoned a swarm of crows which obscure everyone's vision and attacking the heroes with them, preventing Shulk from chasing Riki.
"Hey quit your pecking and scratching you annoying birds !" Shouted Wario while covering his head with his hands.
Pikachu fight back using Thunderbolt, electrocuting many of the crows in one hit. Pikachu again use Thunderbolt to save it's allies from the crows. Karasuman doesn't standby and watch as he then shoot barrage of sharp feathers toward Pikachu only for Robin to block the attack using a magic barrier, shielding him and Pikachu from all the razor sharp feathers.
With Karasuman focusing on Pikachu Chelsea and Wario use the chance to attack him, she throws hula hoop at the crow demon while Wario used his eagle transformation, turning his hat into an eagle like shape and rammed his body towards the crow demon, he got send flying against a nearby wall.
Karasuman angered by the numerous attacks succumbed to his anger and about to retaliate against Chelsea and Wario, this give Pikachu the chance to strike back, from the safety of the barrier it use Thunder to attack Karasuman, a dark cloud formed above Karasuman and strike him down, and since there aren't any ground below him, he fell to the first level, right at the pond in the first level.
Meanwhile Shulk chased after Riki after Pikachu save him from the crows, he run downstairs towards the first level again.
Frontier Village - First Level
"Riki give that back ! The Monado doesn't belong to you !" Shulk said angrily.
"Hom Home is persistent, looks like Riki have to do this the hard way !" Riki use Burninate against Shulk, he spins around and spewing fire from his mouth, stopping Shulk in his tracks.
"Riki we're inside a tree ! You use fire here and it will spread !" Warned Shulk.
The fires slowly spreading, Shulk tries to get to the pond to grab some water to do use the fire, but the fire spread prevent him from going further, but then...PK Freeze !
Ness and Donkey Kong jumped down to assist Shulk, Ness used PK Freeze to extinguish the fires while DK clapped so hard it create a shockwave that put out the fire, the shockwave also sends Riki flying a fair distance, he ended up dropping the Monado which Shulk retrieved.
"I got the Monado back, thanks you two, and listen despite his appearance Riki is very tough, he can take a lot of punishment despite his size." Explained Shulk.
"Then we don't play fair ! PK Flash !" Ness used PK Flash on Riki, the bright light blinding the Nopons forcing him to close his eyes, he also somehow felt like crying as the Nopon ended up crying uncontrollably.
"Uuh I don't know about his Ness, beating up crying person made us look like bullies." Donkey Kong hestiate to fight further with Shulk agreeing with him.
Riki still crying charged at the party while they still talking, catching them off guard, Riki then use Lurgy against the heroes, inflicting them with poison.
"Uugh, poisoned again !" Shulk felt his body weakens as he struggled to get up, the same goes to Ness and DK. Riki walked behind the heroes and start using his Sneaky art, beating them up from behind which thanks to the effect of the art it hurts a lot, he lay beatdown on the heroes multiple times, Riki about to beat DK next, but before the attack connect DK use every ounce of his strength to grab Riki's biter and threw him away to the pond in the middle.
Ness used PSI Healing to remove the poison from himself and Shulk and DK, and he used PSI Lifeup Omega, healing the three of them a lot. Soon after that they saw Karasuman falling from the second level to the pond too.
"Looks like the guys up there done their part as well." Commented Shulk.
Chelsea, Wario, Pikachu, and Robin return downstairs and regroup with Shulk, DK, and Ness.
"I see you emerge victorious, great job." Shulk complimented the upper floor team.
"Thanks, but I don't think we're done yet." Robin pointed at the pond where Karasuman fell, he got up and very angry.
"Not yet, I can still fight !" Karasuman fire a barrage of dark energy orbs toward the heroes, but Ness counter it using PSI Magnet, absorbing the energy attacks and heal himself with it.
"What ! That technique isn't fair !" Complained Karasuman.
"I love my PSI Magnet upgrades, not only I can steal energy, I can also absorb it and heal myself with it." Stated Ness.
"Alright, it's time to finish you off Dracula's minion, Pikachu, Ness !" Robin, Pikachu, and Ness combined their power with Robin using Thoron, Pikachu using Thunderbolt, and Ness using PK Thunder and about to shoot it at the pond where Karasuman and Riki currently at. "Sorry Shulk, but we may gonna have to hit your friend too."
"I wish it didn't have to come to this too, but if Riki is unconscious Ness will have time to undo his brainwashing right ? Then it's a small sacrifice to be made."
"Hey don't forget me ! I can blast people with electricity too you know !" Said Wario transforming into his Electric Wario form.
"Wow Wario you sure are full of surprises." Commented DK.
"Hmph, you haven't seen anything yet, now let's blast them !" The four heroes combined their attack and about to finish off the bird demon, but...
"Is this it ? Is this where it ends for me, I'm sorry master I failed you." Karasuman about to accept his defeat, however...
Frontier Village - Fourth Level
"Hmm, looks like he's in serious trouble, alright then Frankenstein go save Karasuman !" Igor commanded his creation to save Karasuman, Frankenstein run to the middle of the fourth level and jumped from there to the first level, however Frankenstein isn't descending alone, during his run before jumping down he accidentally kncoked a wooden box with metallic bars similar to a cage, the box fell down with him.
Frontier Village - First Level
Frankenstein landed right in front of Karasuman and absorbed the electric attacks from the heroes.
"What the ! Frankenstein is here too !?" Shouted Chelsea, and soon after the box fell and broken, revealing a crab like creature with white blank eyes and a huge mushroom on it's back inside the box, this is a creature Pikachu also familiar with.
"Pika Pika Pika !" Pikachu made flailing it's arms and pointing at the creature.
"Pikachu what's wrong ? Wait could that be a Pokemon too ?" Asked Robin which Pikachu nodded.
"Ness, what is Pikachu is saying ?" Asked DK.
"Pikachu said that Pokemon is called Parasect, and Pikachu also said the mushroom on it's back actually the ones controlling the body, Parasect also have spores that can be used to made any kinds of medicines or drugs." Explained Ness.
"If what Richter or Simon said is true then, if Frankenstein is here then his master Igor must be here too, considering his intelligence maybe the brainwashing this time is from using Parasect spores." Deduced Robin.
"Well we did see Chief Dunga holding a phial of potion I never seen before, that's got to be it !" Agreed Shulk.
"How are you able to figure all that out so fast !? No matter this time I will end you all for good, Frankenstein give me the potions !" Frankenstein throw healing potions made from Parasect spores to Karasuman, he drink it and he recovered instantly. "You drink too furball !" Karasuman shoved the healing potion at Riki's mouth, healing the Nopon as well.
"Ready for round two !?" Karasuman flap his wings and fly above the pond after fully healed, and it seems despite his wings is wet it doesn't hinder his flying ability.
"This time Riki will have his revenge !" Riki stopped crying and readied himself for round two.
Frankenstein punch the ground so hard it create strong shaking and the heroes fell down due to the shockeave, Karasuman seize the chance by firing his razor sharp feathers at the heroes, Riki follow suit by using the Behave art, a flower bed is formed around the heroes and it released paralyzing pollen, paralyzing the heroes in the process, except for Pikachu because electric type Pokemons are immune to paralysis, but Pikachu can't reveal that part just yet so it pretended to be paralyzed like everyone else.
"Can't... move...!" Said Shulk struggling to move his body.
"I'm gonna pay you back for all those attacks against me !" Karasuman direct his hand toward the heroes as he summoned another swarm of crows to scratch and pe k the heroes to torture them. With the villains and Riki believe the tide has shifted in their favor they didn't realize Pikachu used Agility to escape the crows and dashed towards the Parasect who is hiding from the battle.
"Pika Pika.." Pikachu seeing the odds against them asking for Parasect's help to defeat Dracula's minions and Pikachu promised it will return Parasect back to Pokemon World.
Parasect replies that it's not the only one here, there are many other Parasect and it's pre-evouktion form Paras held captive at the Fourth Level, having their spores forcibly extracted to create various kinds of concoctions.
Pikachu replied by saying it will save the Paras and Parasects upstairs, but first Pikachu need Parasect's help to defeat the enemies right here first.
After reaching an agreement Parasect agreed to help Pikachu.
"Riki wants a piece of them too !" Riki wanted to beat up the heroes too, but he can't get close due to the crow swarms.
"Me want pummel Dracula's enemies too." Frankenstein charged himself with electricity.
"Alright, I'm going to enjoy this, disperse my pets !" With Karasuman's command the crow swarms dispersed, the heroes badly hurt with bleeding from pecking and scratch marks on their body and unable to move their body due to paralysis they can't do anything.
Frankenstein shoot a large ball of electricity from his palm toward the heroes, but when they thought they're done for Pikachu jumped in and take the attack, and due to it's electrc typing Frankenstein attack barely hurt it. Pikachu retaliate by using Double Team, creating many clones of itself and surround Riki and Frankenstein, the clones and Pikachu move so fast to distract the enemies, confusing both Frankenstein and Riki, as the two hitting randomly only to hit the fakes.
Karasuman angered by the pesky yellow mouse shoot his feathers at the pokemon, eliminating many of the clones, until just one left, Frankenstein stomped that one only to find out that one was also a clone, turns out the real Pikachu is at one of the roofs of the Nopon houses, Pikachu dashed using Agility and used Slam at Frankenstein stomach as the artificial monster realized too late, the impact caused him to fall down.
"What ! How could this be how are you not paralyzed by Riki's arts !? No matter, Riki will just have to use something else to beat mousey !" As Riki ready to fight Pikachu a sweet fragrant aroma can be felt throughout the area.
"What is this ? It smells nice and...my body is feeling fine, hey I can move my body again !" Exclaimed Chelsea.
"You're right ! I can move by body again !" Agreed Robin, and it seems the same can be said with everyone.
"What is this smell, it's sweet, and what happened ? Huh what is this yellow mouse ?" Questions Riki apparently surprised seeing Pikachu, he turned around and shocked to see Karasuman behind him. "Aaah ! What is that black bird person !?
"Pika !" Pikachu thanked Parasect who apparently used Aromatherapy which healed the heroes from their paralysis and also curing Riki from his brainwashing.
"What how can this be !? Wait a minute could it be !" Karasuman set his sights on Parasect. "You ! This got to be your doing ! I will get you for this !"
"Oh no you won't ! Lifeup !" Ness use Lifeup Omega which healed his allies, the heroes regain the strength to fight back.
Karasuman lunged toward Parasect, as he ready to punch the mushroom Pokemon Ness cast shield on the Pokemon, halving the damage and reflecting the other half back at Karasuman.
"Pika Pika !" Pikachu explain to Ness what happened with Parasect, and Ness relay this information to his allies.
"Everyone ! Pikachu said there's more of them upstairs, their spores being forcibly extracted for their experiments !" Shouted Ness.
"Alright some of us will go upstairs to release those Pokemons ! Now come to me !" Robin used his magic to summon Argorok inside Frontier Village, Robin jumped at it's back.
"I'm going too !" Donkey Kong joined Robin to help the Pokemons upstairs.
"I'm coming too !" Wario also joined Robin
The three of them ride the Hyrulean dragon to fly to the fourth level, Karasuman notices this and tried to stop them, only to be hit by Chelsea's hula hoop followed by Pikachu's Thunder, removing any obstacles from reaching the fourth level.
"Riki see Shulk what Shulk doing here ?" Asked the Nopon.
"Riki are you uhh..you ?" Asked Shulk.
"What friend talking about ? Riki is Riki, Riki doesn't know what's going on, but Riki will help Shulk." Replied the Nopon confirming the brainwashing is gone.
"Ok, it's good to have you back Riki, now first we need to get these monsters away from here !" With that Riki now join the heroes to defeat Dracula's minions.
"Ouchie, hit hard, me in pain." Frankenstein holding his stomach.
"Ouch This isn't good, I don't have many strength left to fight, Frankenstein some of them went upstairs Igor is there, and he's in danger !" Shouted Karasuman.
"What ! Master Igor in danger we must hurry to save him !" Frankenstein grabbed Karasuman and he jumped from the first level to the upper levels which surprised the heroes.
"Wow he's got a good jumping ability." Commented Chelsea.
Fourth Level
In the fourth level Igor created a portal which he used to send the drugs he created there, ordering the brainwashed Nopons to carry the stuff back to wherever that portal leads.
"Just a little more and we're out of here, looks like I have to make do with this for now." Murmured the demon scientist.
And soon after Robin, DK, and Wario arrived with Argorok. "It's over Igor cease your operations right now !" Exclaimed Robin.
Igor looked at their direction and spoke to them. "But if course I'm all done here, I'll be on my way, as soon as I brought these mushroom creatures with me." Igor pointed at the Paras and Parasect strapped to a machine that extracting their spores.
"Oh no you won't !" DK jumped off Argorok and proceed to break the machines and the box cages that contains the Pokemons.
The brainwashed Nopons tried to stop DK only for Wario to interfere, he used his Arty Wario form and draw large cage that imprisons the Nopons.
"You ask for this Igor now accept your end ! Thoron !" As Robin fire Thoron spell at Igor Frankenstein appear just in time and take the blow meant for Igor, and since Thoron is an electric attack it barely hurt Frankenstein.
Frankenstein grabbed Igor and run to the portal, the portal closed soon after.
"They're gone, looks like things are safe for now but..."
"What have you done, you chased off our new leaderpon !" Yelled the brainwashed Nopons as they keep screaming at the heroes.
"They're still brainwashed, what are we gonna do ?" Asked DK.
I'm not sure, but let us go back down for now." Agreeing with Robin suggestion Wario and DK hop on Argorok's back again and they descend down back to the first level.
First Level
The trio reached the first level safely as they figure out what to do next.
"How'd it go upstairs ?" Shulk put the Monado at his back seeing there's no need for further fighting.
"Sorry, Frankenstein managed to save Igor and they left through a portsl." Stated Robin.
"Not to mention those Nopons are still brainwashed, guess we won't be rewarded anytime soon." Complained Wario.
"Brainwashed what friends talking about ?" Questions Riki.
"Umm is Riki back to normal Shulk ?" Asked Robin.
"Yeah, I don't know how or when it happened, but Riki's back to normal now." Answered Shulk. "Riki doesn't seem to remember being brainwashed either."
"Sorry, Riki don't remember anything, but Riki do remember some sweet smell, and after inhaling that smell Riki's mind felt clear somehow."
"Oh right ! That sweet smell that heal our paralysis ! Could that be what remove Riki's brainwashing ?" Guessed Chelsea.
"Pika Pika !" Pikachu pointed at Parasect.
"Umm Pikachu said that sweet smell was one of Parasect's technique called Aromatherapy it has an effect of healing any kind of ailments, and apparently that includes Riki's brainwashing." Explained Ness.
"So then." Shulk then crouch and tried to talk to Parasect. "I thank you for helping us back then, and now please we need your help once more, we need your powers to return the villagers to which they were before."
Parasect Spike to Pikachu, and in turn Pikachu spoke to Ness, and Ness translate it using telepathy.
"It said Parasect doesn't mind, but this place is huge it can't be done with just one person, we need more Parasects to accomplish this." Explained Ness.
"Hey we saved a bunch of them upstairs, plus there's also a smaller but similar creature with two small mushrooms on their backs." Stated DK.
Parasect then spoke to Ness that it should be brought upstairs to speak with it's kind about cooperating with the heroes.
"That's what it said you guys." Said Ness.
"Ok let's do it, we must save everyone here." Robin, Ness, and Shulk ride the Argorok again this time they also bring Parasect with them as they head back to the fourth level.
Fourth Level
After coming back to the fourth level Parasect speak with it's fellow species about helping the heroes, and since they've been rescued, the Parases and Parasects agreed to help the heroes, Ness communicate with telepathy and instruct them on what to do.
The heroes then execute their plan by placing Parasects on the first, second, third, and fourth levels, and with Argorok's help placing the Parases and Parasects can be done faster as the dragon easily ascend and descend between floors. Chief Dunga come out from hiding and while he had no idea what the heroes are doing he attempt to stop them, unfortunately Ness telepathy is still active as he's the one giving instructions about the plan, Ness notices Chief Dunga negative thoughts and warned the nearby Ally to stop him which happens to be Shulk and Riki.
Shulk and Riki managed to stop Dunga, Riki attack him using his Roll Poly arts, which bind the elder Nopon, preventing him from moving his body.
And then with the last Parasect in place it's time to unleash Aromatherapy on a large scale, with everything in place Ness then give the cue. "Alright now use Aromatherapy !" Heeding his command the Parases and Parasects used Aromatherapy at the same time, combining their move with the other move allowing the Aromatheraphy to spread on a wider range, allowing all Nopons in the vicinity to be affected and thus removing their brainwashing.
With their brainwashing confirmed gone Wario break the cage open, releasing the Nopons from their imprisonment, and Chief Dunga also returned to his senses and he can move again.
With that the problems at Frontier Village is finally solved, the heroes then decided to have a word with Chief Dunga.
First Level
"I'm glad you're back to your senses, but tell us, hiw did all this happens ? Can you remember anything at all ?" Inquire Shulk.
"Honestly I don't remember much what happened, but I do rember what happened before, all we did was living life like normal, Riki has returned to our village few days before, but then on one day there's an earthquake, but luckily it doesn't last long and there aren't any damages, but the night on that same day we saw a hunchbacked man collapse in front of our village, naturally the Nopons rushed to help that man. As a thank you that man offered us phial of drinks free of charge, he have a lot for everyone, we took his offer and then everything is a blur afterwards." Explained Chief Dunga.
"I see, I believe that earthquake isn't an ordinary one, if I have to guess it could be a dimensional distortion, which explains why when we are wished back we ended up in different worlds, maybe Igor met these Pokemons and started experimenting on them and looking for test subjects." Deduced Robin.
"And once the Nopons under his control he brought in those Pokemons and continue his experiments here, Karasuman and Frankenstein must've reappeared with Igor and also must've hiding until the entire village is under their control." Added Shulk.
"And luckily those Pokemons that they brought here also the ones responsible for their defeat." Added Chelsea.
"So then we're taking these Pokemons with us then ?" Asked DK.
"Of course, they're stranded in unknown world, we have to return them to their natural habitat." Answered Robin.
"But what about those man eating plant Pokemons we encountered on the way here ?" DK reminded everyone about the Victreebels they encountered earlier.
Oh right, we can't just leave them here, invading species often a threat to the ecosystem." Agreed Chelsea.
Robin used his magic to summon the Victreebels, already recovered from the battle earlier, Pikachu spoke to them to join forces until returning to their worlds, the Victreebels agreed and ceased hostilities.
"I thank you for saving us, I wish there's something we can do for you." Said Chief Dunga.
"Umm...I want you to have this Chief." Shulk gave his golden plate to Chief Dunga. "I can't say too much, but just in case they're back, or if there's any new threat coming, contact us with this, unfortunately it's not just Bionis and Mechonis that's in danger, my friends here came from different worlds, and their world's aren't safe either."
"Why not take Riki with you if things are that serious ?" Chief Dunga offered the heroes to take Riki with them.
"Sorry, but someone who can fight must stay here, now just be careful around strangers ok, if there's anything going on give us a call." Answered Shulk.
"Ok, Riki got it, Riki won't fall for same trick twice, heropon Riki will protect the village this time." Declared the Nopon.
"Haha I'm sure you won't, ok everyone let's go back." After saying goodbyes Robin activate his golden plate and the heroes teleported back to the ship, bringing Victreebels, Parases, and Parasects with them.
Dracula's Castle
"Curse it ! We failed, we were forced to retreat !" Karasuman angrily punching a wall.
"Calm down, there will be next time, besides I got enough data already so I wouldn't call this a loss." Stated Igor. "Aren't I lucky to encountered a Parasect after we were wished back."
"How did that happened anyway ? If the heroes the ones responsible they're much to nice for their own good, do they really think we're going to be grateful to them ?" Asked Karasuman.
"Doesn't matter about them, hmm those spores have unlimited potential, why I just created a concoction that can corrode metals." Igor said with glee.
"I suppose healing is essential in this kind of work, once our master returns, we will present him the universe." Vowed Karasuman. "You know we stood a chance while working together, I suppose we have better chances of winning like this, with my aerial combat, and Frankenstein strength, your intelligence, and that Nopon unusual abilities, we may able to give this heroes a hard time."
"Indeed, and i suppose we should be open to cooperate with our other allies, at least until we're done with them we will use any means necessary to make our goal happen." Dracula's minions vowed to do whatever it takes to bring their master back.
Done and done, maybe one of the longest I've ever written, but it's worth it.
As of gen vii Pikachu and every electric type Pokemons are immune to paralysis, even if they're attacked by noon electric type move like Stun Spore, so Pikachu have an advantage against Riki's Behave art.
Victreebel are known to emit sweet smelling odor to lure prey and eat them, which play a part in this chapter.
And also Parasect sporse seems to have unlimited potential, in the manga it stated with the right combination Parasect spores can create substance that corrode metals.
Technically speaking Karasuman can be considered flying type so Pikachu's attack are very effective on him.
Both heroes and villains have full arsenal in this fic, making them truly overpowered against each other, the only way to have an advantage is by using teamwork, or unconventional means.
Character debut : Chief Dunga, Victreebel, Paras, Parasect, Jungle Quadwings, Makna Feris, Makna Ancel, Makna Eluca.
Boss battle : Karasuman, Riki, Frankenstein, Victreebel.
