Formidable Oak - Top
Another group of the heroes appeared in different place, this time they landed in what it seems to be a large termite nest like structure, but since there aren't any ceiling it's obvious they're at the top of the structure. Appearing in this place is Olimar and his Pikmins, Popo, Greninja, Toon Link, Luigi, and King Dedede.
"Where are we this time ? Does anyone know where we are ?" Asked Dedede looking around the place.
"I'm not sure where this a-is, but there's a cave over a-there ?" Luigi pointed at the cave in front of the heroes.
"Guess we should get a move on, but..." Toon Link stare at Olimar who seemed deep in thought. "Something the matter Mr. Olimar ?"
"Oh, well this place seemed familiar to me, I wonder if..." Olimar took a few steps until he step on a leaf. "Oh this leaf, now it's all coming back to me ! Yes I remember, I've been here before, in fact it was one of my terrible experience in this planet...you know what I doubt Dracula's minions are here we should come back and fast !" The astronaut face getting pale and begin to panic as he recalls a traumatic memory.
"What ! What happened !?" Popo startled by Olimar's sudden outburst
"I don't have time to explain, we better get out of here quick ! There's an extremely dangerous monster here !" Shouted Olimar.
"A m-m-monster ! Then we a-should leave this a-place !" Luigi agreed and cowering behind Greninja.
"But we can't just leave now, we can't let Dracula's minions went ahead with their plans, what if someone ended up getting hurt because of them." Toon Link object to leaving early.
"There aren't any civilizations on this planet ! Who are they going to harm !?" As the heroes still debating on what to do a shadow looms from above, it slowly getting big and then stopped behind the heroes, clearly whoever own this shadow must be a gigantic in size, the heroes stopped their arguing and slowly turned around.
"On no ! It's here !" Olimar screamed in terror pointing at the thing.
S.S Light
Back at the S.S Light while the heroes are currently away, something about to happened in the ship.
Tails testing out his chaos emerald detector, Zelda taking interest in knowledge from other worlds, Lon'qu and Flavia having a training session with the Inklings, with the sword user trying to find a way to fight against enemies using long range weapons, and the Inklings need to know what to do against short range weapons in case they got too close.
Taranza teaching Lady Lima magic in order to be strong enough to save Beanbean Kingdom. Chrom at Sumia's side while she's pregnant with Cynthia. Olivia getting along with Lilith and Kana, even promising to teach the little girl how to dance.
Dixie and Isabelle currently eating at the dining room eating fruits along with Simon and Richter,. Daisy taking a bath in the hot tub with Krystal, and having friendly conversation with one another, and everyone else doing their own thing, however unknown to them not everyone enjoying their time at the ship as one of them is enslaved by an evil force.
S.S Light - Kitchen
Caeda is currently at the kitchen making tea under Thanatos order.
("Good, once that pegasus Knight drink that tea the poison will kill her and her child.") Thanatos spoke with Caeda through telepathy.
"Must you go this far !? This is an unborn baby I'm talking about !" Caeda objected to Thanatos to not go through with this plan.
("That baby will grew up to be one of the people that responsible for Grima's fall, and we don't want to take any risks, you will carry out this order and that's final !") Thanatos done speaking as Caeda forced to do his bidding, she put the tea on a tray and then walked to Chrom's room to give Sumia the poison tea. Fortunately Espeon currently the only one who knows about Caeda, was keeping an eye on her and decided to foil her plan.
S.S Light - Hallway
"Hey Caeda where are you going ?" Komurasaki greeted the pegasus Knight
"To Chrom's room, I'm thinking of giving Sumia a warm tea." Answered Caeda with a forced smile.
As Caeda is done with her conversation Espeon is running and purposely bumping into Caeda, the impact caused her to fall and drop her tea in the process, the cup fell and broken as a result.
"Espeon ! Look what you did !? Caeda put a lot of work in making that tea !" Komurasaki yelled at the psychic pokemon, which Espeon respond by feigning regret with its ears down and making pouty face.
"It's okay Komurasaki, I'm sure Espeon didn't do it on purpise, I'll go clean this mess." Caeda went to the storage to grab some cleaning tools, whether it's an accident or not, Caeda felt relieved her plan has been ruined.
PNF 404 - Formidable Oak
The creature that stand before the heroes isn't anything they've seen before, it's a gigantic mass of golden goo taking a form of an armless bipedal humanoid with what it seems a hole on its 'head'.
"There it is ! The Plasm Wraith !" The panicking Olimar quickly grabbing his golden plate, wanting to leave immediately, however the Plasm Wraith extend it's 'arm' and swing it like a whip which knocked away Olimar's golden plate, this time it will make sure Olimar won't be able to get away.
Plasm Wraith extend it's arms and swing at the heroes, sending them flying until they hit a wall, except for Olimar, and now that it managed to separate Olimar from his friends, the Plasm Wraith then used it's right arm to wrap Olimar and attempt to absorb him like it did last time, however just as Olimar come face to face with the hole on Plasm Wraith, a blast of cold energy freeze Plasm Wraith arm, turns out Popo who is responsible for that, and then Greninja jumped and cut off Plasm Wraith frozen arm using it's water blades, of course being single cell creature the arms just grow again.
Olimar begin to fall, the flying Pikmins able to respond without whistle to know Olimar is in danger, they managed to catch the astronaut before he hit the ground.
The Plasm Wraith is angry and decided to eliminate Olimar's teammates first, it turns it arms into sharp pointy blade and begin rapidly stabbing downward, with the heroes frantically dodging them, Plasm Wraith about to stab Popo, but the ice climber freeze Plasm Wraith arm before it stab him, Dedede then jumped and shatter the frozen arm with his hammer, Luigi follow suit by electrocuting the Plasm Wraith, the attack causing it immense pain.
After that, many of the Plasm Wraith goo fall out of it's body, Olimar then command his teammates on what to do next. "Everyone destroy those goos before the Plasm Wraith can absorb it to heal itself !"
Everyone complied and do what Olimar said, Greninja throwing Water Shurikens at the goos, King Dedede and Popo smacking then with their hammer, Luigi vaporize the goo with his electric powers, Toon Link blow the goo away with his Deku Leaf, and Olimar throwing Pikmins at the goo, thanks to this the Plasm Wraith can only absorb a very tiny amount, unable to replenish many of it's health.
Plasm Wraith realized these are not the same enemies it fought before, so for now it decided to retreat, but first it extend it's arm to absorb Olimar's golden plate. It then quickly shapeshift into a circular ball like form and roll inside the cave.
"My golden plate !" Shouted Olimar.
"We can't let that thing have it, what if it use it by accident !?" Exclaimed Toon Link.
"Yes, we'll take this thing down for good, but first Popo can you infuse my hammer with your ice powers ? Kirby can do that to me in our previous battle ?" Dedede point his hammer at Popo.
"I never tried that before, but I'm always wanted to know how far I can go with these powers." Popo expel cold energy from his palms, and the unexpected did happened, Dedede's hammer does infused with Popo ice powers, becoming the blizzard hammer.
"We're not dealing with solid object this time, things could get tricky." Pointed out Toon Link.
"Olimar deal with it before right ? We have someone a-with experience here with us." Stated Luigi.
"Actually it's not me, but astronauts from neighboring planet the ones do the fighting, I was captured by that thing and they're the ones who saved me, of course I did ask them how to beat that thing in case I know what needs to be done should I ever encounter the Plasm Wraith again." Explained Olimar.
"Hmm, better than nothing I suppose, but this time that thing is dealing with more powerful foes this time, and it will not stand a chance !" Exclaimed Dedede.
"Alright everyone, chase that thing !" Olimar rallied his teammates into entering the cave, wanting to defeat Plasm Wraith and get Olimar golden plate back.
S.S Light - Kitchen
Caeda back at the kitchen throwing away the broken cup to the trash bin, unsure what to do next as she receive very clear command not to reveal herself as Thanatos unwilling minion, Caeda would rather be imprisoned rather than harming her newfound friends.
Just then Sumia walked into the kitchen willing to speak with the blue haired pegasus knight. "Hi Caeda, I heard you wanted to make a tea for me."
"Yes, but it's my fault the tea spilled." Caeda then looked at Sumia stomach. "You know no one was able to tell if your pregnant under that armor you wore earlier."
"Yes, we got married during the war, and everyone's child already born, Cynthia is the only one left." Explained Sumia. "Well why don't I help you with that tea ?"
Caeda agreed and the two pegasus knight made a herbal tea, and then they find a place to sit on the kitchen.
"How is it ?" Asked Caeda after they drink their tea.
"It's very good, anyway Caeda, there's something I would like to ask."
"Okay, what is it ?" Inquired Caeda.
"Now that I'm married to Chrom I will be a queen of a nation, so I would like to ask how is it for you ? I mean I know you're a princess before you married Marth, but I wonder if I'm up to the task of ruling a country." Sumia reveal her worries.
"Well I won't mince words, I admit being a ruler isn't easy, so I'm going to tell you about what I went through after Marth and I rule the entire Archanea continent." Caeda explains to Sumia what happened after the war of heroes, and how they're able to create a long era of peace.
"I see, then I'm glad we have this conversation, I'm feeling a bit more confident now that I've let it out...ugh. "Sumia felt strange as there's something wet below her, she then start holding her stomach. "I think my water broke."
Hearing this Caeda quickly shout for help and Sumia quickly carried back to Chrom's room by Simon and Richter who are currently eating at the dining room.
Formidable Oak - Interior
The heroes chased down Plasm Wraith inside the Oak, but once they went inside there's no sign of the creature.
"Where is it ? Did we lose it already ?" Questioned Toon Link.
"That can't be, how is it disappear so quickly ?" Asked Dedede.
"Maybe, what if that a-thing accidentally touched the teleportation button !?" Stated an extremely worried Luigi.
"C'mon Luigi, now you're worrying too much, that can't be what happened, can it ?" Popo also beginning to look worried.
Greninja trying to sense it's surrounding, and with it's tongue out in the open like that it can easily feel a changes in the air, Greninja looked behind and it saw the golden goo that makes up Plasm Wraith body, it keep dripping from above, Greninja quickly alert it's teammates.
"It was behind us !" Shouted Toon Link.
The Plasm Wraith then take the form of a large blob monster.
"Everyone run ! It's said the Plasm Wraith is invincible in this form !" Not wanting to take chances the heroes agreed as they run from the Plasm Wraith, while the creature chased them hoping to absorb and digest them.
The heroes kept on running, they managed to quickly escape Plasm Wraith because of its slow movement, however they had no idea where they are.
"Have we been here before ? All this corrdors looks the same to me !" Pointed out Dedede.
"It's like a maze in here !" Exclaimed Luigi.
Realizing this Greninja decided to scout the area, it hop on the wall and jumped wall to wall, it marked the correct path by shooting Ice Beam, Greninja quickly return to the heroes and tell the others to follow it.
The heroes follow Greninja until they arrived in a wide space, which have two Fiery Blowhogs in it.
"Fiery Blowhogs ! Let's quickly dispatch of them !" Declared Olimar as he threw his red pikmin at the creature, thanks to red pikmin immunity to fire it easily kill the Fiery Blowhogs, but rather than dying, they transform into a golden goo that looks like what Plasm Wraith is made of.
"Wait, it turned to goo ?" Questioned Popo.
"I heard Alph told me this before, almost every creature in this place are replicas made by the Plasm Wraith." Explained Olimar. "But they also have the same abilities of the original.
"It's that powerful huh ? Well we have no time to waste, we still need to escape from here !" Stated Toon Link.
"But, what happened after that ? How are we suppose to get Olimar's golden plate back ?" Asked Popo.
"Once we're outside the Plasm Wraith will took on its bipedal form back, that's when we will strike !" Said Olimar.
"Are you sure ? That a-thing tried to escape when it realized the odds against it, that a-creature isn't some mere animal, it's like it can think !" Exclaimed Luigi.
"Yes, you're right, then we need come up with a plan." Olimar and everyone else quickly discussed a plan to defeat the Plasm Wraith. "Does everyone understand the plan ?"
"Yes, but how do we know it won't take the blob form while outside ?" Asked Toon Link.
"There are wide spaces outside, we have open spaces to move freely, with that happened the Plasm Wraith will be forced to split apart if it want to get us all, making it easy to attack." Answered Olimar. "And also on that blob form the Plasm Wraith will digest anything that cross it's path, I don't think that thing want to kill me."
"Okay, we'll go with this plan, let's just hope there aren't nasty surprises waiting for us." While they've been talking the Plasm Wraith already catching up to the heroes, they ran in panic, which ended up separating them, can whatever the heroes planned can still be done ?
After running around trying to escape Olimar finally found the way out, he saw a light.
Formidable Oak - Outside
"I finally made it outside, but I still have to keep going !" Olimar and his Pikmin jump the ledge outside the entrance to a wide roughly circular tree stump.
The Plasm Wraith also made it outside, and seeing it's just Olimar and his Pikmin a outside, it transformed back to its bipedal form, it floats slowly towards Olimar before landing close to him.
Olimar begin to fight as he throw his Pikmin at the creature, hitting it multiple times, the Plasm Wraith quickly shake them off, it floats, looking down, and sharpening it's arms and stabbing below, which the Pikmins able to avoid, it then came down again.
As the Plasm Wraith occupied with Olimar Greninja jumped from the nearby lake and throw multiple Water Shurikens to attack Plasm Wraith from behind, Luigi, Toon Link, and Popo combined their power to attack the Plasm Wraith, combining lightning, wind, and ice attack at the creature, it turns out they've been hiding below the tree stump and ambushed the creature.
King Dedede also jumped from under the stump and and hit the ground with his hammer, creating trails of ce spikes until it hit the Wraith. And for added measure Greninja shoot another Ice Beam at the ledge, creating an ice wall to prevent escape.
"You fall for our trap, us scrambling in panic was part of our plan in the first place, Greninja already marked the right path with ice to help with our escape, and now we're going to defeat you !" Exclaimed Olimar.
Getting desperate the Plasm Wraith then shoot a goo at the heroes, which they avoid, but it wasn't just a goo, it turned molten and generating fire.
"That's one of it's powers, it can create some elemental traps like what I told you before !" Shouted Olimar. "You have to attack the cube like core !"
For Greninja this isn't actually a problem as the frog ninja pokemon just fire it's Water Shurikens at the core, Greninja charged the Water Shuriken at fire it at the core, slicing it in half and reverting the trap into a normal goo again, Toon Link then blow them all away with the Deku Leaf, preventing reabsorption.
Everyone continue with the barrage of assault, Olimar throwing Pikmins, Toon Link throwing bombs, Greninja throwing Water Shurikens, Luigi blast with lightnings, Dedede ice enchantments wore off, he then open a hatch in his hammer and fire missiles at the creature.
Plasm Wraith then throw four goos at once, one transformed into a molten fiery one, another one turned into a large glass cube protecting the core, another one turned into a bubble of water, and the last one turned into a spike with the core located at the top of the spike, and generate electric barrier.
"Everyone focus at destroying the traps first !" Commanded Olimar as he throw Yellow Pikmins at the electric barrier one, Dedede smashing the glass cube with its hammer, the glass cube about tumble to crush Dedede, realizing this Dedede spin around with his hammer to quickly avoid being crushed. "Good thing Olimar already told us about this while we're discussing the plan."
A bomb then seen flying at the cube, completely shattering it, Dedede then spin his hammer again to wipe the goo off. "Thanks Toon Link." Thanked the king.
Greninja went inside the bubble and swim inside, Greninja then use it's water blade to slash the core repeatedly, until it get destroyed too.
Luigi then wiped the goo using his tornado attack.
Popo summoned multiple icicles from above to strike the core with the molten fiery goo until it destroyed again, Olimar help Popo by throwing some Pikmins to the goo to clean it up.
With losing so many goo the Plasm Wraith has shrunk in size, it spit out a golden cube and dissolve to the ground.
"We did it, I have to say that wasn't exactly the hardest battle, but it sure is very tricky." Commented Toon Link.
"I'll say, it's not something we can beat straightforwardly, good thing all of us here can counter anything that thing throw at us, well I guess we don't need that anymore." Dedede launch another missile to destroy the ice wall Greninja made, not needing it anymore.
"So I guess we don't find Dracula's minions around here, does that mean we're pretty much done here ?" Questioned Toon Link.
Greninja shake its head showing it doesn't see any Dracula's minions either as it the ones scout the area, confirming they're not here.
"That confirms it then, besides there aren't anything worth taking here for them anyway, let's just open this cube and leave this place." Olimar open the golden cube, wanting to take his golden plate back, but to his and everyone else surprise it's not just the golden plate they found, but there's something else inside as well that shocks them.
S.S Light - Chrom's Room
Back at the ship Sumia is in pain because it's time to give birth, hearing this the men was forced to leave the room.
After a while Chrom pacing back and forth anxious about what happened inside.
"Calm down Chrom your wife will be fine, she's a strong lady." Richter tap the king shoulder to calm him down.
"Ah this takes me back when Eliza about to give birth to Mel, I can't calm myself down at the hospital." Ken remembering the moment his son is born.
"It seems every father to be always anxious during these moments, I remember when the moment Princess Peach about to be born, the king can't calm himself down either." Toadsworth reminisce the day Peach is born.
"Yours too huh ? I guess no matter where in the universe every father to be are like this the moment their children are born." Commented Ken. " Guess we're not so different after all."
"It is ? I don't quite get it ?" Said a confused Taranza.
"You'll understand once you decided to have a family of your own, but since you're an insect I suppose you lay eggs ?" Questioned Ken.
"I suppose, we do give birth differently." Replied the Sectra mage.
Soon after the door is opened, it seems Sumia is done giving birth, Lady Lima wrapped the baby in a blanket, Chrom and the other men then rushed inside.
"Congratulations, here is your child." Lima present the baby to Chrom. "This takes me back when the day Prince Peasley was born, I have to help Queen Bean deliver the baby."
"Welcome to us Cynthia." Chrom happily holding his second daughter. "Sumia are you okay ?"
"I'm fine, but a little tired, anyway Lucina here's your sister." Said Sumia
"I know, we're finally together sister." Lucina said to Cynthia.
Everyone on the ship was very happy to see a baby is born, and so would Caeda if she isn't under the control of an evil deity.
Caeda unwilling to harm her teammates anymore, slowly back away, before Thanatos gave her a new order she quickly run to the Monster Sanctuary, grabbed a Pegasus and begin to run away, she return to the ship riding a Pegasus, and fly to the deck immediately, and then fly away to parts unknown without anyone noticing. "Thanatos will punish me for abusing a loophole like this, but if it's to protect them, then I will gladly endure it."
Formidable Oak - Outside
The golden cube disappears, but what's inside isn't just Olimar's golden plate, but there's two people inside as well, a boy and a girl.
"Hey are you okay !?" Toon Link rushed to check in the two people.
"Who are they ? And how did they got here ?" Questioned Popo
"There's no way there's humans here, maybe they're explorers ?" Guessed Olimar.
"Let's start checking their belongings first." Suggested Dedede.
The heroes agreeing with Dedede suggestion, tried checking the two people's belongings, Toon Link put his hands on the boy pocket in his pants. Toon Link then found a familiar circular object. "Hey isn't this a pokeball ?"
"It is, does that mean they're from Red's world ?" Pondered Olimar.
"Well, who else do we know own a Pokemon ?" Replied Dedede sarcastically.
And then not long after the two of them started regaining consciousness.
"Uugh, what happened ? Green, are you alright !?" The boy making sure the girl is alright.
"Blue ? Yes I'm fine, so where is this ? And ..." Blue and Green noticed the people surrounding them.
"Who are you people !? And is that a Greninja with you ?" Blue recognized the frog ninja Pokemon. "And is that my pokeball you're holding ?" Toon Link apologized and returned it back to Blue.
"Blue, they look rather strange, a fat penguin carrying a hammer, a plumber, a kid with weapons, a boy wearing parka, a really short astronaut, and a Greninja ? I really don't know what to say." Green whispered to Blue.
"Okay, first please calm down, let us introduced ourselves first, my name is Olimar, that's King Dedede, that's Popo, Luigi, Toon Link and as why we call him that is rather complicated, and this is..."
"A Greninja right." Interjected Blue.
"That's right, the fact that you recognized Greninja you must be from pokemon world, and you must be a Pokemon trainer." Stated Olimar.
"That's right, so my name is Blue, and this is my friend Green, can you tell us where are we ?"
"This place is called Formidable Oak, and you two are in another planet called PNF 404, I'm afraid you're not in your world anymore." Explained Olimar.
"Do a-you remember how you got here ?" Asked Luigi.
"We were fighting Mewtwo, but then we can feel shaking and there's a bright light, after that we arrived in this world, and then we encountered that gold slime creature, after that it's a blur." Answered Green.
"I see the Plasm Wraith must've absorbed you and kept you inside it's golden cube " said Olimar.
"Plasm Wraith ? Is that what that thing is ?" Asked Green.
"Yes, this isn't pokemon world so don't bother trying to catch the wildlife here, I doubt your pokeballs worked on these creatures anyway." Adviced Olimar. "And we came from different worlds than you."
"Alright, if you come from different worlds, how do you know about Pokemons, or know that we are called pokemon trainers ?" Questioned Green.
"Because we met a Pokemon trainer a long time ago, do any of you familiar with a trainer named Red ?" Asked Olimar
"You know Red !" Exclaimed the two of them. "He's our friend, is he here !?"
"No he's not, but rest assured, come with us and you three can see each other again, if you're a friend of Red then we're on the same side." Olimar extend his hand towards Blue and Green.
Blue and Green looked at each other and nodded before shaking Olimar's hand. "Okay, we agree to go with you, but how do you know Red ?"
"It's a long story, but if you'd insist to know..." Greninja interrupted Olimar as there's something coming out from the Formidable Oak.
"Looks like we got company." Dedede readied his hammer.
What came out was a strange blue teardrop shaped creature with a perpetually smiling face, and there are eight of them.
"Olimar what do you know about this monster ?" Asked Toon Link ready to fight as well.
"I actually don't know, I've never seen these creatures before." Olimar surprised there's a species he missed.
"Either they're new undiscovered species, or another drifter from other world's." Stated Popo.
"But they a-look harmless." Commented Luigi.
"Looks can be deceiving, we better be ready just in case.". Olimar also ready to fight.
"Green let's help them out." Said Blue.
"Even though we may not be dealing with Pokemon this time ?" Replied a cautious Green.
"First time for everything." Blue send out Venusaur to fight
"Okay then, let's do this." Green send out Blastoise.
The creatures seeing their opponents are dangerous, ended up fusing together, becoming a larger version of themselves and somehow wearing a crown on their head.
"It a-fused together ?" Stated Luigi.
"We can see that, now attack before it shows us anymore tricks !" Dedede jumped and smashed the head of the creature from above. "Your crown is no better than mine."
Toon Link dashed closer and slice the creature with multiple sword slash, the creature seemed hurt but it doesn't seem to changed its facial expression, the creature escape the attack, it bounce around and tried to tackle Venusaur, but Green ordered Blastoise to use Withdraw in front of Venusaur, protecting the grass type pokemon, Blue ordered Venusaur to use Leech Seed on the creature, Venusaur spit out seeds from the flower at the top at the creature, the seed quickly turned into a vine that bind the creature, slowly draining it's health and transfer it to Venusaur.
With the creature weakened, Olimar throw Yellow Pikmins at the creature, the Pikmin continue attacking the creature until, Luigi then backed Olimar by blasting lightning at the creature, thanks to yellow Pikmins immunity to electricity, the lightning only harmed the creature, after bombarded with many attacks, the creature is finally defeated and dissipates, but it does leave it's crown somehow.
"That's weird, that creature just disappear after being defeated, I believe that blue creature isn't from PNF-404." Speculated Olimar.
"That wasn't exactly a difficult battle, but that seed technique sure helps restrains it's movement." Commented Toon Link.
"That technique is called Leech Seed, it slowly saps your health and transfer it to its user." Explained Blue.
"Wow, I had no idea Pokemon powers can be underhanded." Replied Toon Link with somewhat disapproving look. "Well I suppose I'm not that different."
"Oh you should see what kind of combinations we can come up with, it's very exciting to strategize !" Said Green with excitement.
Dedede tried to take a good look at Venusaur and Blastoise, he then realized something. "Hold on I wonder if it's just my imagination, but Olimar don't you think these two look a bit familiar ?"
"Come to think of it they do, you know we encountered a Pokemon similar to this before, what was it called again...oh right Ivysaur and Squirtle, they along with Red helped us a lot during the Subspace War." Remembered Olimar.
"Really ? Was it on that moment we let Red borrow Ivysaur and Squirtle back then ?" Pondered Blue.
"So what are you saying ? That when Red using our Pokemon he got sent to another world ?" Questioned Green.
"We a-can explain further, but right now, let's go back first." Suggested Luigi.
"Yeah, we really should, we've talked too much, everyone ready ?" Olimar preparing to teleport using his golden plate.
