Castle Shirasagi - Corrin's Room
Another group of heroes arrived at a different location, this time they appeared in a dimly lit room, there's a shelf and mirror on the wall, a beast like puppet on the floor, and what seems like a pictures in a paper scattered across the floor. The heroes arrived here are Corrin, Charizard, Meta Knight, Villager, Mega Man, and Fox.
"Where are we now ? Did we land in someone's room ?" Fox looking around the place.
"This is..my room ?" Commented Corrin.
"Wait ! This is your room Corrin !?" Exclaimed Yuu. "No offense, but it doesn't seem different from a 5 year old room."
"And it's quite dusty in here, mind if I clean it up ? I am primarily designed as cleaning robot." Mega Man touches the shelf.
"Sorry, but not now, my family leave this place like this as a sign they wish one day I'll return to them, I know I'm back already, but..."
Charizard pick up a paper with drawings and give it to Meta Knight. "This picture is this your parents Corrin ?" Meta Knight pointed at the picture of a man with really long wild hair, and a woman with black hair tied in a pony tail.
"Yeah, that's King Sumeragi and Queen Mikoto, the rulers of Hoshido, at least they were before King Garon or should I say Anankos killed them, furthermore Lilith told me that my birth father is the dragon Anankos himself, but after seeing what he's done, there's no way I can call him father !" Corrin spoke angrily which unnerve his teammates. "Sorry, I didn't mean to raise my voice, but he's the reason Nohr and Hoshido out for each other's blood, tearing the family I have apart."
"We're sorry to hear that Corrin, you must've been through a lot, I can't imagine what it's like to turn your weapon to the person who care about you, if Wily did something like that to Dr. Light and Roll then maybe..no I don't want to think about it." Mega Man consoling Corrin and then stopping his train of thoughts.
"Well we're here, so should we look around ? Dracula's minions might be around here...oh wait !" Fox suddenly remember something as he about to open the slide door, he ask something to Corrin nervously. "Corrin... does the people here have positive experience with non human creatures ? Is there any non human creatures here ?"
"Don't worry, I just tell them you're a Kitsune, they're a race of shapeshifter who can transform between a human and Fox form, I have a Kitsune friend that help me solve the war between Nohr and Hoshido." Answered Corrin.
"Really !? That's great ! And I wonder if I need a disguise or not !"
"Yes I've been wondering about that too ?" Pondered Meta Knight. "And what about Charizard ?"
"I don't think it matters anyway, I can just vouch for all of you, so Yuu, you've been to Nohr before, now I'll show you Hoshido." Corrin said as he open the slide door.
"Oh yeah, I got to see both of Corrin's home countries, hopefully there aren't any loathsome sorcerer like that Iago guy here."
"Don't worry, there's no one like Iago here, I should introduce you to my siblings first, then we can begin investigating, Ryoma should be at the throne room." Corrin lead his teammates to Castle Shirasagi Throne Room.
Castle Shirasagi - Throne Room
Corrin guide everyone to the throne room, but to his surprise the place is empty.
"This is the throne room, but uh..it seems Ryoma isn't here right now, I wonder where everyone is ?"
"Come to think of it, we haven't pass by anyone in this castle, is the castle usually this empty ?" Asked Meta Knight.
"No, there should be guards and maids in here, but yeah where are they ?" Corrin start having negative thoughts. "Nothing bad happened to them...right ?"
As Corrin pondered what's going on, a footsteps can be heard, Corrin noticed and look at the direction of the footsteps, who he saw was a man with messy dark green hair, and wearing a glasses.
"Lord Corrin ! Is that you !" Exclaimed the man.
"Ah Yukimura ! It's me ! And it's nice to see you again !" Corrin walk towards Yukimura. "Everyone this is Yukimura, he's Hoshido's prime minister, and Yukimura they are my friends that I met on my journey, despite their...unusual appearance I can guarantee they're very trustworthy." Corrin introduced Yukimura and his teammates to each other.
"Umm...okay, they are very unusual indeed, but if you have Lord Corrin's trust then you have mine also." Said Yukimura.
"Anyway we're here to see Ryoma, is he not here right now ?" Asked Corrin.
"Yes, about that King Ryoma went to Fort Jinya at the moment, you see..." Yukimura begin explaining the reason of Ryoma absence and Corrin is shocked by Yukimura's explanation.
"WHAT DID YOU SAY !?" A red giant dragon with large leathery wings, suddenly appears around Fort Jinya and burn the place with it's fiery breath ?"
"Yes, it's appearance quite similar to that orange dragon standing over there." Yukimura pointed at Charizard.
"Could it be a wild Charizard then ? Red did say not all Pokemons owned by trainers." Hypothesized Fox.
"No no, that dragon is a lot bigger, furthermore it doesn't have any hands, and the tail have spikes shaped like a club, rather than fire, how is that even possible ? Does it even hurt ?" Yukimura baffled at Charizard's physiology.
Hearing Yukimura's description of the dragon Charizard begin to roar seemingly tried to tell it's teammates something.
"What's wrong Charizard ?" Mega Man tried to calm Charizard down.
"Wait, that description, didn't we noticed something about that description ?" Asked Meta Knight. "The ones that Olimar showed us !"
"Could it be that dragon Rathalos !" Realized Corrin.
Charizard nodded, confirming Corrin's guess.
"That giant dragon is here ! We have to do something right !" Exclaimed Yuu.
"Yes we must, Rathalos could threatened the people of Hoshido if left alone ! Yukimura we're going to Fort Jinya !" Exclaimed Corrin.
"Are you sure Lord Corrin ? the royal siblings have gone for hours and yet they still haven't got rid of the dragon yet, if the worse come to pass, we can't lose you too." Said Yukimura worriedly.
"I'll be fine, my friends here possess unique powers neither Nohr, Hoshido, and Valla themselves don't have, we will stand a chance against Rathalos !" Declared Corrin.
"Alright, then go do you still remember which way to the fort ?" Asked Yukimura.
"Yeah, don't worry, I still remember the way, let's go everyone ! Follow me !" Corrin leave the castle and lead his teammates to head to Fort Jinya.
"Please be safe Lord Corrin."
Flashback...
Few hours before Corrin and his teammates arrived.
"Alright, any updates regarding the flying monsters ?" Ryoma doing his royal duties as usual.
"Yes, according to the scouts Lord Takumi and Prince Kiragi managed to dispatch them all, those monsters put up a fight, but they managed to deal with them with minimum casualty." Yukimura read the report.
"Good, and I'm glad the rebuilding of the plaza is complete also."
"Yes, King Xander from Nohr aided us for the reparation, hopefully the peace between Nohr and Hoshido will be everlasting."
"I hope so Yukimura, earlier Corrin told me there are people from Nohr actually unhappy with the peace we have, but he assure us the Nohrian royal siblings are nipping the buds before they grow further." Explained Ryoma.
"Honestly some people are just despicable, well if it's a fight they want we'll be ready !" Declared Yukimura.
"Yes, I'm sure they can't even carried out any attacks, especially now the Nohrian royal family actively opposing them as well, by the way Yukimura, your mood seems brighter, usually you're a bit more uptight."
"Well it's thanks to Shigure my workload been reduced." Yukimura praising Ryoma's cousin.
"Yeah he's very capable, he also oversee the restoration of the plaza right ?" Asked Ryoma.
"That he is, at first I'm very skeptical, but seeing the result I'm glad I'm willing to give him that chance, maybe he's ready for more responsibilities."
As Ryoma and Yukimura continues talking, three people rushed to the throne room, one is a man with strong build and looked similar to Ryoma, another one is a woman with long blue hair with an X shaped scar on her face, and the last one is a woman with short red hair.
"Ryoma we have a problem !" Exclaimed the red haired woman.
"What is it Hinoka !? This seems serious." Ryoma started to have a bad feeling.
"You may not believe this father, but we saw a giant dragon ! It has large wings, and its tail covered in spikes !" Exclaimed the young man.
"What ! Is that true Shiro !?" Asked Ryoma.
"Yes your majesty, the three of us saw it, the beast is huge, it's nothing like that other flying creatures emerging from the Bottomless Canyon." Confirmed the scarred woman.
"Where do you see this beast Reina ?" Asked Ryoma.
"During our patrols, we saw that beast flying around Fort Jinya, we're unprepared to fight it, so we returned back here to prepare ourselves." Answered Reina. "I'm worried due to close proximity to the town.
"I was thinking of fighting it, but Reina's right, we can't fight that thing unprepared." Said Shiro reluctantly.
"You were right not to pick fights you can't win, now gather anyone available and prepare the supplies ! We're going to get that beast away from here !" Ryoma got up from his seat, grab his sword and walked down the steps.
"Your majesty ! You wouldn't think of slaying that beast would you !?" Exclaimed Yukimura.
"I am, we need Raijinto's power to slay this beast ! I'm going to Fort Jinya !" Declared Ryoma. "Hinoka ! Find Takumi and Sakura, we may need a healer just in case, you can bring your retainers as well !"
"Alright, and as for my retainers we passed by Azama and Setsuna on our way here, they're already headed to Fort Jinya, I told them not to do anything until we arrived." Said Hinoka.
"Good, Yukimura procure any weapons and medicines for this battle, we'ee going to need it !" Ordered Ryoma.
"Right away your majesty !" Yukimura left the throne room to get some supplies.
"If I may I would like to come too." A blue haired man spoke to Ryoma.
"I appreciate your offer Shigure, but this mission is dangerous, our soldiers will deal with this." Objected Ryoma.
"Exactly why you'll need me, my songs can pacify the beast, we'll be able to slay the creature without any casualties." Explained Shigure.
"You're right, with your help we may be able to get out of this without anyone dying, alright Shigure you can come, but promise to take care of yourself." Ryoma relent after hearing Shigure's point.
"Don't worry father, I'll be sure to guard Shigure !" Exclaimed Ryoma.
"Both of you protect each other alright, I don't want to lose my son and nephew." Ryoma tapped both Shiro and Shigure's shoulder.
"I'll get going now, I'm going to find Sakura, Takumi and Kiragi to help us !" Hinoka then left the castle.
"I'll go gather any available soldiers !" Reina left the castle.
With preparation complete Ryoma and everyone else head to Fort Jinya to fight Rathalos.
Flashback ended..
Hoshido - Plaza
Out from the castle the heroes arrived at Hoshido Plaza, the place have been completely rebuilt, the place is as busy as ever as if the tragedy that struck the plaza never happened at all.
"The sun is bright here, when I was in Nohr there aren't any sunlight at all." Commented Yuu. "Nohr is perpetually shrouded in darkness."
"Really ? A place that is perpetually dark ? What is with the weather of this world ?" Commented Fox.
"Wow this place is completely rebuilt." Corrin looking at the plaza where he saw people shopping and living as usual.
"Rebuilt ? Did something happened here before ?" Asked Fox, however after he looked at Corrin's face. "I guess it's not a pleasant memory huh, sorry."
"It's okay Fox, near the fountain over there, that's where Queen Mikoto died, King Garon, or should I say Anankos give me a weapon, but that weapon turned out to be an explosive, that weapon generate huge explosion that destroy this plaza. Anankos used me, he used me as a sacrificial pawn in order to destroy Hoshido." Explained Corrin.
"So he knows you're going to be here, and that weapon was meant to destroy you along with the people here." Commented Meta Knight. "I can see why you're angry, such loathsome methods, I despise such vile tactis !"
"We're done reminiscing, let us keep going, we have something else to do." After a brief stop the heroes continue to go to Fort Jinya, thanks to the huge crowd and the busyness of daily life the citizens don't have time to pay attention to Corrin's party, allowing them to go on without arousing attention.
The heroes managed to get to the city outskirts, now out of plain sight Corrin propose an idea to his teammates. "If we want to go faster, I suggest we fly there." Corrin transform into his dragon form.
"Mega Man and Yuu, I'll carry you two, Fox you go with Charizard." Ordered Corrin.
"Alright, you're the boss here, okay Charizard I'll be counting on you." Fox extend his paw which Charizard replied with it's 'hand', Fox then hop on Charizard's back, Meta Knight changed his cape into it's winged form and they fly straight to Fort Jinya.
Fort Jinya - Tower Highest Floor
Inside the fort there are four robed figures.
"So they sent us here wanting to have this dragon under their control."
"That seems to be the case, it seems this dragon would be a great addition to our manpower."
"So then what are you waiting for ? You're magic can take the beast right ?"
"I can't, I'm under order to observe it's capabilities before I'm allowed to do anything."
"Cursed this ! My country will be brought to ruin with this beast around !"
"Warriors of Fallen Stars, what a joke this is, a mere fancy title, but in reality we're nothing but zombies, a slave to malevolent deities once again !"
"Our children are down there, and we have no choice but to put them in harm's way."
"I'll assure you, they will pay for doing this to us !"
Fort Jinya - Outside
A battle still rage on outside the fort, Rathalos flying above the tower and Hoshido's soldiers still unable to take down the beast, and yet so many of Hoshidan soldiers hurt from Rathalos's attack, one of them is Hinoka's pegasus who got grazed by Rathalos poisonous talon.
"How's my pegasus Sakura ?" Hinoka asked a short red haired girl.
"It's fine, I already neutralize the poison, but I don't think it's ready for another battle." Explained Sakura.
"I was too careless, if I know that thing have poisonous talons I would've avoid it !" Hinoka spoke in an angry tone.
"No, if anything it's my fault, I almost fell when that dragon flapped it's wings, the wind it makes caused me to lose balance, and I almost fell." Said Takumi as he's sitting on Hinoka's pegasus to fight the Rathalos.
"I can't let you fall to your death Takumi, if I know it could do that I would've avoid it." Replied Hinoka.
"It's not your fault, there's nothing we know about this creature, once your pegasus is ready we will strike again !" Declared Takumi. "Reina still keeping it busy along with the other kinshi knights, any other plan Ryoma ?"
"The plan was to enter the tower and have Shigure sing his songs, but everytime we get close to the tower that thing keep spewing fireballs at us, forcing us to retreat, not even Reina can fully distract it." Explained Ryoma. "If only Corrin were here his Yato is a bane to dragons."
"We can't rely too much on Corrin, he has enough problems to deal with, we have to do this ourselves !" Exclaimed Takumi.
"You're right, but what else do we do ? Some of our soldiers and their mounts already hurt from the attack, it would be a while for a full recovery." Stated Ryoma. "It'd be a matter of time before this beast fly away and head to the city."
"Azama how is everyone ?" Hinoka spoke to one of her retainers, a man with closed eyes with wild hair.
"This is exhausting Lady Hinoka, I have too much people to treat, I think I'm at my limit here." Azama wiping the sweat off his forehead. "I don't think I can do this anymore."
As things look bleak for the Hoshido siblings they saw a familiar face flying their way.
Corrin in his dragon form landed on the ground, and as Mega Man and Yuu got off he revert back to his human form. Charizard and Meta Knight also landed on the ground.
"I'm back everyone, we're here to deal with Rathalos !" Announced Corrin.
"Brother you're back !" Sakura run towards Corrin and hugged him.
"You're here, but I thought you were somewhere else ?" Asked Takumi.
"It's a long story, but I'm here now, please Ryoma let me and my friends deal with Rathalos." Pleaded Corrin.
"This friends of yours are ..."
"Oh right, everyone this is my family from Hoshido." Corrin introduce his teammates to his Hoshidan siblings and vice versa.
"Corrin sure makes and 'interesting' friends, what is that masked caped thing ?" Hinoka whispered to Sakura. "And is that a Kitsune ? He looks nothing like Kaden."
"Look I'm sure you have questions, but first we need to deal with Rathalos first, and I can guarantee my friends can deal with it, or do you have a plan in mind ?"
"My plan is to get Shigure inside the tower and calm the beast with his song, and then we slay the beast while it still under the song effect." Explained Ryoma.
"I see, I'm sorry Ryoma, but I can't let you kill the dragon." Answered Corrin.
"You what !? Then what are you going to do ! If we don't do something all the damages in this fort will happen to Hoshido as well !" Takumi pointed at the destroyed parts and scorch marks of the fort.
"I know, but I have a way to get rid of the beast without killing it, please trust me, I make sure I will succeed !" Pleaded Corrin.
After some thinking the Hoshidan siblings agree to Corrin's plan.
"Alright, you're the reason Hoshido and Nohr united in the first place so I trust your judgement." Relented Ryoma.
"Thank you brother, but we're still going with your plan on having Shigure sing." Said Corrin.
"Be careful, everytime we got close that beast keep spitting fireballs to keep us from entering." Explain Ryoma.
"Charizard can deal with that, Meta Knight, you help Reina in dealing with Rathalos, she's the woman with the scar on her face riding that bird like creature." Explained Corrin pointing at the Kinshi knights."
"Understood, leave it to me." Meta Knight fly to assist the Kinshi Knights.
"Who and what are you ?" Asked Reina surprised by Meta Knight's appearance.
"Introductions can wait, but I can assure you I'm a friend of Corrin, and I'm here to help."
"Alright, the fact that you're one of Corrin's friend is enough for me to trust you, let's go !" Reina and Meta Knight work together to fend off Rathalos.
"Alright everyone ready ? Shigure I'll make sure we reached the tower !" Declared Corrin.
"Yes uncle Corrin, leave the calming of the beast to me !" Said Shigure.
"We're going too ! Me and Kiragi !" Exclaimed Shiro.
"Okay, Shiro, Kiragi, don't stray too far from me alright !" Said Corrin.
"Yes uncle Corrin." Nodded Kiragi who look a lot like Takumi, except he have shorter hair.
"Corrin take Setsuna with you, Setsuna go with them !" Hinoka ordered a woman dressed like maid with blue shirt blue hair.
"Okay, if that what you wished for Lady Hinoka." Setsuna replied nonchalantly.
Seeing her attitude Fox whispered in Corrin's ear. "She seems absent-minded, will she be okay ?"
"Don't worry Fox, despite Setsuna's 'quirks' she's an incredible archer." Assured Corrin.
"If you say so." Replied Fox.
Now that everyone ready Corrin lead the charge to Fort Jinya, Rathalos noticed this and spit a fireball at Corrin's group, however before the fireball reach them Charizard intercept the attack and charged through, and thanks to it's resistance to fire based attack, the fireball did little damage, Charizard keep going toward Rathalos, it use Dragon Claw, infusing it's claws with draconic energy and slash Rathalos in the face, injuring the dragon. Corrin and his group successfully enter the tower.
"Amazing ! The dragon seem to be hurt by the orange dragon !" Commented Hinoka.
"It's tail is on fire, is that supposed to be normal ?" Pondered Takumi.
Rathalos is hurt by Charizard's attack, which give Reina and Meta Knight an opening, they seize the opportunity and land a strike on the large dragon. Meta Knight landed a slash on its head, and Reina follow suit by doing a follow up attack, Rathalos roared in pain.
Fort Jinya
"All we have to do now is to reach the highest floor, that's the closest we can get to Rathalos, and then have Shigure sing to calmed it down." Explained Corrin.
"Rathalos huh ? How do you know what it's called uncle Corrin ?" Asked Shiro.
"And this guy ? I've never seen an armor like it ?" Kiragi touching Mega Man's helmet.
"Please stop touching me, I know you don't have robots, but still..."
"Uncle Corrin what's a robot ?" Asked Kiragi. "You know it right ?"
"Yes, i've been...going places, but we don't have time to talk right now, we need to quickly deal with Rathalos ! Once that done I will tell you what I've been up to !" Replied Corrin.
The kids does also have questions for Corrin, but for now they agreed not to ask too much as there are more pressing matters at hand, they all proceed by climbing the tower stairs to reach the highest floor.
Outside Fort Jinya
Meta Knight, Charizard, and Reina continue fighting Rathalos, the beast fly higher than Charizard and about to strike the Pokemon with it's poisonous talons, but Charizard manage to avoid the incoming attack, Rathalos spit another large fireball, Charizard counter it by unleashing Fire Blast, the impact destroys the fireball, Rathalos then charged at Charizard at high speed, but Charizard used Smokescreen to obscure Rathalos vision, the dragon startled, giving Charizard a chance to dodge the incoming attack.
This give chance for Reina and Meta Knight to land another strike at Rathalos, with Meta Knight strike it's back, and Reina attack it's belly.
"Your swordplay is impressive." Reina complimenting Meta Knight swordsmanship.
"Thank you, your spear mastery is excellent as well." Meta Knight praised back.
Rathalos, still haven't gone down flapped it's wings, creating a strong wind, this ended up disrupting Reina, Meta Knight, and Charizard's balance, Charizard being a natural born flyer able to recover, however Reina wasn't so lucky as the kinshi she rode losing against Rathalos winds, and Reina lose her balance and fall down, Meta Knight saw this and quickly fly down to catch Reina before she hits the ground.
Fort Jinya - Highest Floor
The four figures watching the battle from the highest floor windows.
"Corrin sure arrived with interesting allies."
"So then what they told us is true ? He brought allies from other worlds ?"
"That may be what the kingdom need to survive, this is far more than they can handle."
"I saw them running inside to this tower, as much as I like to see them again..."
"I know I also wish to see them agin in better circumstances, but we have to oppose one another again."
"With any luck, things are different this time around."
Fort Jinya is currently empty, with the peaceful relation between Nohr and Hoshido, the soldiers stationed here allowed to return home for a while, so Corrin and his team able to quickly head to the highest floor.
Once there Corrin encountered the four hooded figures.
"They are !?" Ryoma spoke first.
"Those hoods, it's the Warriors of Fallen Stars !?" Exclaimed Yuu.
"I knew this wouldn't be easy !" Exclaimed Fox.
"Did you bring Rathalos here !" Shouted Corrin.
One of them spoke, in a familiar feminine voice. "No, if anything we' re here to observe the dragon."
"That voice ! Can it be !" Ryoma seemed to recognize the voice.
The figure remove her robe, underneath that robe revealed a beautiful woman with long black hair ties in a ponytail, with a beauty mark below her lips.
"Mother !" Shouted Ryoma.
"No, it's grandmother ! Do we have to fight again !?" Said Shiro distraught.
"Yes, it's me Mikoto, my children, how I wish to see you again, but unfortunately it has to be like this again." Replied Mikoto Sadly. "Corrin you don't seemed surprised to see me ?"
"I knew, that I have to face you again one day, my friends from other worlds have to faced their loved ones, I know it will happen to me sooner or later." Explained Corrin. "So the rest of you ? If you're really from this world show yourself, at the very least I'm ready to face you."
"I see you already steeled your resolve, just what I expect of my child." The figure remove his hood, revealing an old, but imposing man with frightening presence.
"Wait ! King Garon !" But we saw you got devoured !" Exclaimed Ryoma.
"Could Anankos be behind this !?" Questioned Shigure.
"No, they have their memories intact, if anything this is necromancy rather than the flawed resurrection Anankos did to our parents." Clarified Corrin. "A god named Death is behind this !"
"That's no longer true, Death seemed to vanish during his last mission, so we're under Thanatos control now." The other figure remove her hood, revealing a woman with short light blue hair, with the same color as Shigure.
"Grandmother !" Exclaimed Shigure.
"Shigure, my grandson, we never had any chance to talk, my memories only returned after my final stand when you invaded Valla, we finally meet again, but..."
"We all feel the same Arete, no loving parents wished to harm their children, but we can't disobey our master, we're completely bound by their power." Mikoto tapped her sister shoulder.
"King Garon, Queen Arete, and mother, then the last one must be.."
"You guessed right my son." The last figure remove his hood, he's revealed to be a man with hair as wild as Ryoma.
"Father, I knew it." Said Ryoma.
"Why ! Why do we have to do this again !" Kiragi screamed as he break down I tears. "Killing you before was painful enough ! But now we have to do this again !?"
"Unfortunately this time they won't let us go, even if a fight occur here, and you managed to end us here, we will be brought back, and tasked in another mission." Explained Arete.
"Sumeragi, this may not be the right time, but I wish to apologize for setting you up that time and abducting Corrin from you." Said Garon.
"That's not you fault Garon, Anankos the one doing all this so both our countries plunged into war, if there's anyone to blame it's him." Replied Sumeragi.
Corrin seemed shocked at hearing Garon's words as he only remember King Garon as warmongering madman who never shows any hints of compassion or mercy.
"King Garon is that really how you are ? Before Anankos possess you ?" Asked Corrin.
"Yes, and even though it was Anankos doing, I still remember the atrocities he committed using my body, I failed my country, I failed my family, just like Arete I wish we really can spend time like actual family." Garon seemed to be filled with regret and sorrow for being Anankos puppet.
"So am I, I wish to know the real you, the King Garon that Xander always describes."
"Xander, I see so he's a king now, I honestly believe he'll be better than I ever be, if only I can see him again, I wished to tell him how proud I am."
As the heroes talk with their parents something happened, space is distorted where the battle with Rathalos takes place, and a gem manifested in the middle.
"That's a Chaos Emerald !" Exclaimed Corrin looking from the window.
Space is distorted around the emerald, soon something else appeared, a purple pterodactyl like dragon showed up in the skies of Fort Jinya.
"Isn't that...Ridley ! Not good, I must stop him !" Corrin tried to jump through the window running past his parents, but before he came close an arrow stopped him in his tracks. "What the..." Corrin turned around to see Mikoto the one who shoot that arrow as she's holding a silver yumi.
"I'm sorry Corrin, but we're under direct order to prevent anyone from interfering with our duties, that Chaos Emerald you spoke of, Neo Subspace Army is after it and there's nothing any of us can do to refuse an order."
Corrin can only look at his parents, he can only remain calm and draw his sword the Omega Yato. "I know, and I promise you we will find a way to set you free, but for now I also have my duties to fulfill, Fox, Yuu, Mega Man back me up, Ryoma, take the others away, you don't want to see this." Commanded Corrin.
"No I'm staying as well, this is very painful, but we will do what we must do." Answered Ryoma. "What about you kids ?"
"We're staying too !" Shiro, Kiragi, and Shigure also ready to fight.
"Setsuna ?" Asked Corrin.
"Oh, don't mind me." Setsuna readies her bow. "Queen Mikoto, King Sumeragi, forgive me, but I also have to do this."
Fort Jinya - Outside
"What happened !? Where am I !? I was at the base when..." Ridley confused by the unexpected transfer looking around his surroundings. Ridley saw Charizard, Rathalos, and Chaos Emerald.
"You ! You're one of Samus allies ! Is she here ? Well no matter killing her firiends is also going to be enjoyable, and while I'm at it i'll take the Chaos Emeralds and this Rathalos creature will be excellent for the space pirates test subject."
Meta Knight after rescuing and putting Reina back safely on the ground, fly again to help Charizard. "Charizard, you deal with Ridley, while I retrieve the Chaos Emerald." Whispered Meta Knight, which Charizard nodded.
Ridley then fly towards the emerald which Charizard follow suit. As the emerald is almost within Ridley's grasp Charizard use Fire Spin near the emerald, creating a fiery tornado that surround the emerald, forbidding Ridley to get close, angered by this Ridley then lunges at Charizard, he slashed the Pokemon with his claws, but that's not enough to completely put Charizard down, as it retaliate with Dragon Claw repeatedly and slash Ridley's face.
Ridley then used it's tail to strangle Charizard's neck, as Charizard struggle to break free, Ridley charged his plasma breath and fire it at Charizard, Ridley released Charizard from his grip and the Pokemon take a hit from the plasma breath, the attack is strong enough to get Charizard to fall to the ground.
Fire Spin soon dissipates, as Ridley turned around, the emerald is gone. And he saw Meta Knight fending off Rathalos holding the emerald. After Charizard use Fire Spin Meta Knight teleported inside the fiery vortex and took the emerald.
On the ground Charizard is hurt, but it still wished to keep fighting, seeing this Sakura went closer.
"You're the only ones that can do this, we don't know what's actually going on, but you do, so please help us." Sakura used her magic to heal Charizard, just like the move Recover Charizard wounds are healed and it's ready for another round.
Fort Jinya - Highest Floor
"Forgive me my child, but what Mikoto said is true, we can't disobey no matter how much we want to, so show me all you got ! Show me the resolve of someone that felled Anankos !" Garon unleashed his weapon Bolverk, he run towards Corrin and swing the axe on overhead strike, but Corrin managed to block the attack using his sword.
Mikoto readies another shot with her arrow, she aimed it at Corrin, but before she fire a shot Fox shoot her hand with a blaster, Mikoto is hurt and forced to drop her weapons, Sumeragi charged towards Fox, but Ryoma defended him, blocking Sumeragi's attack with Raijinto.
Arete casting Ragnarok spell at Ryoma, the burst of flames knocking him across the room. Mega Man fire his Mega Buster at the former queen, but Arete teleported away to dodge the attacks.
As Mikoto went to grab her bow an arrow is shot to where her hands are, forcing Mikoto to retract from touching her bow, Setsuna's the one who fire that arrow.
Shiro and Shigure team up tonight Sumeragi, the duo fight Sumeragi in tandem using sword and naginata respectively, Sumeragi carrying a dual blade on his hand managed to defend against Shiro and Shigure, but then an arrow is coming his way, Sumeragi parry the arrow and aimed it near Shiro's feet, forcing him to step back, Sumeragi then use the hilt of his sword and hit Shiro with it. Sumeragi then dodge a strike from Shigure and land a roundhouse kick on him, knocking Shigure down.
Kiragi repairs another shot, but Arete cast another Ragnarok spell, the fireball burn Kiragi's incoming arrow and about to hit him, but Yuu steps in and Pocket the fireball in his pants.
Arete is shocked by this, and at that moment Yuu returned the Ragnarok back at her, Arete then got blasted by her own magic and she fell down to the ground, she then pull out a magic staff and attempt to heal herself, but Mega Man shoot the staff away from her hands.
Arete's scream distract King Garon, giving Corrin a chance to push back and struck down Garon by slicing his armor, the Nohrian king fell down on one knee, but then he swing his axe horizontally to attack Corrin, which he dodged by spreading his wings and fly above, Garon than cast some fire magic at Corrin, he got hit by the blast and fell down, Garon got up and attempt to strike Corrin in an overhead strike, Corrin however this time generate his tail, and wrapped it on Garon's right leg and haul it away, causing Garon to lose his footing and fall down. Corrin then kick the Bolverk axe away from him.

With Charizard down for now Ridley goes after Meta Knight, who suffers difficulty fending off two enemies and holding the Chaos Emerald at the same time.
"You got skills I give you that, but the emerald will be mine, and as for you you will be a great addition for the space pirates, perhaps we could improve you further with cybernetic enhancements ? I promise it won't be too painful." Said Ridley to Meta Knight ina sinister smile.
"I've been there before, no one will give me anymore modifications !" Meta Knight decided to unleash his full power against Ridley, but before anything can happen a black smoke covering the sky, clouding everyone's vision.
Ridley astonished by the unexpected black smoke decided to fly away to regain his vision, but then Charizard showed up and rammed at Ridley at high speed, the impact send him flying toward Rathalos, hitting Rathalos with Ridley.
Charizard then gave signals to Meta Knight telling him to leave with the emerald, while Charizard offer to fend off Ridley and Rathalos. Meta Knight understand as he fly away to make sure the enemy side never got the emerald.
Rathalos then bite Ridley's tail, it swings Ridley around and throw him towards Charizard, Charizard then use Dragon Claw again and slash Ridley in the stomach, Ridley roared in pain, and now seething with anger he unleash his plasma breath again, but this time Charizard dodge the attack, and it hit Rathalos instead, the red dragon also roared in pain. Rathalos lunges at Ridley, but Ridley fly above to dodge the attack.
Charizard then fly towards Ridley with another Dragon Claw, but as Charizard get close, Ridley use his tail to grab Charizard's tail and throw it towards Rathalos this time, Ridley then readies his claws to struck Charizard down, but Charizard managed to defend with another Dragon Claw. Rathalos then fly away and make a u turn at full speed, ramming itself at Ridley and Charizard. Sending the two of them crashing to the tower. This caused some shaking at the highest floor where Corrin is right now.
Fort Jinya - Highest Floor
With Sumeragi done with Shiro and Shigure Ryoma got up and strike his father, but Sumeragi managed to defend just in time, Ryoma then unleashed Raijinto's power and electrocute Sumeragi with it's lightning power.
Setsuna keep firing her arrows at Mikoto, preventing the former queen to even retrieve her weapon, Fox and Setsuna work side by side, as he use his blaster to shoot the ground where Mikoto stand to prevent an escape, shortly the impact caused by Ridley and Charizard create some minor shaking on the highest floor, this fazed Mikoto, but Setsuna with her incredible focus unfazed by the shaking shoot another arrow, aimed at Mikotos robe, pinning her against the wall.
"That should do it." Setsuna put down her bow thinking Mikoto no longer a threat now that she's restrained, but then Mikoto pull a staff and cast Enfeeble at Setsuna, weakening her body, as she fell down feeling weak. Seeing Ryoma about to finish off Sumeragi, Mikoto then cast Enfeeble towards Ryoma, weakening him too. This give Sumeragi the chance to fight back, but Fox shoot Sumeragi at the back, and then he shoot the staff out of Mikoto's hand, Yuu run toward the staff and hide it in his pocket, he also run towards Bolverk and hid the axe in his pocket, depriving Mikoto and Garon of their weapons.
Arete got cast Ragnarok at Mega Man, forcing the robot to dodge, she tried to got up, but before she can fully stand Kiragi shoot an arrow on her robe, and he shoot again and again, pinning Arete to the floor. Kiragi took the Ragnarok tome and toss it towards Yuu, which he hid in his pocket. With both her weapons gone Arete no longer a threat.
Fort Jinya - Outside
Rathalos have sent Ridley and Charizard crashing to the tower, for a finishing attack Rathalos prepare to shoot a huge fireball at the two dragon-like beings. Charizard and Ridley clutching their head, and they saw what Rathalos about to do, both of them quickly fly outside, and at that moment Rathalos unleashed a large fireball towards Charizard and Ridley, to counter the attack Ridley unleashed his plasma breath once again, and Charizard use Fire Blast, the three breath attack collide and create a huge explosion, the explosion strong enough to create impact so large the three dragons fell to the ground. And the people below shield themselves with their arms from the winds.
"Charizard are you okay ?" Meta Knight who landed in the ground approached the Pokemon.
Charizard struggled to stand, but it assure Meta Knight it's fine, unfortunately the explosion also isn't strong enough to put down Ridley and Rathalos for good.
Seeing there are people around Ridley goes after them instead, he saw Sakura and he fly toward her and grabbed her with his left hand. "Hey ! Hand over the emerald or the girl dies !" Ridley threatening to kill Sakura as he put his right claws around her neck.
"Let go of her !" Screamed Takumi preparing his bow to shoot Ridley.
"One more move, and I'll make sure she bleeds, a lot !" Ridley's threat forces Takumi to put his bow down.
"Help me...anyone." Sakura in the verge of tears.
"Please give him the gem, i can't let that thing harm my sister !" Takumi pleaded to Meta Knight.
Meta Knight however know better than to trust Ridley, as Samus already told everyone about how vile Ridley can be, and so this is his decision. "Alright, Ridley you want this Chaos Emerald so bad, I'll give you a taste of it's power !" Meta Knight decided to use the Chaos Emerald, empowering himself, and then he used his newfound power to banish Ridley from Hoshido, sending him to another world, with Ridley's gone Sakura is now safe from the space dragon.
Sakura run towards Takumi and hugged her brother. "Brother I was so scared, I thought that thing's going to kill me."
"It's okay Sakura, you're safe now." Takumi then turned his attention towards Meta Knight. "Thank you for saving my sister."
"You're welcome, I will do anything in my power to vanquish evil, I have to thank Sonic for explaining how to use Chaos Emeralds, this knowledge have save someone's life." Said Meta Knight.
But the problem is not yet over Ridley may be gone, but Rathalos is still there, not flying this time the dragon run towards the Hoshido soldiers to eat them to replenish it's health, seeing they're still hurt from fighting Rathalos they can't run to save themselves, Meta Knight then impulsively use the Chaos Emerald to banish Rathalos from Hoshido, and just like Ridley, who knows where they were sent.
"Now they're gone, that Rathalos is a formidable opponent, ...great now we can't returned it back to its home world." Sighed Meta Knight.
Unbeknownst to evryone another figure watching the entire battle from a safe distance, the figure then teleported himself.
Fort Jinya - Highest Floor
"It's over, I suggest you all withdraw immediately." Corrin pointing his blade at the former kings and queens.
"You were incredible Corrin, you bested me, but I can tell you're holding back." Said Garon.
"I can say the same to you king Garon, you could put up more of a fight than this." Replied Corrin.
"You're right, I'm also holding back, because my heart isn't in it." Answered Garon.
"I owe my combat prowess to Xander, he's been an excellent mentor towards me."
"He was always the diligent one, I can see Nohr is in capable hands from now on, I wish I can die happy, but as long as we're like this we will cross blades once again." Warned Garon.
And at that moment the figure appeared before Corrin and his allies, unlike the others the figure wore a white hood, the hood obscure his face, but what is visible is that he has long blue hair.
"Who are...?" Corrin readies his blade.
"Everyone the mission is over, Rathalos is gone, and because of the unexpected appearance of the chaos emerald, we didn't prepare for the unexpected, let them have their victory, we will succeed next time." The figure cast a magic circle. "I'm sure we will meet again." The figure then teleported away, taking along Mikoto, Garon, Arete, and Sumeragi.
"They're gone, and did that man said Rathalos is also gone ?" Asked Ryoma.
"We should head outside." Corrin and his allies then headed downstairs and left the tower.
Fort Jinya - Outside
"I take it things are well on your end Meta Knight ?" Asked Corrin.
"Somewhat, Charizard do most of the fighting, all I did was to grab the emerald and staying out from the fight." Answered Meta Knight.
"And thanks to that we got a chaos emerald on our hand ! Don't think you're not doing anything Meta Knight." Praised Fox. "Also you really are incredible with the bow Setsuna, sorry I doubted you."
"Oh, I'm used to it, you're not the first person to doubt me." Replied Setsuna.
"Also thanks to me we got new weapons." Yuu show off the weapons he took from the former monarchs.
"I see you have it rough as well then, there's an enemy on that tower too ?" Asked Meta Knight.
"Not exactly what I call enemies, but yeah something like that." Answered Corrin. "So what happened to Rathalos and Ridley ?"
"Sorry, I used the chaos emeralds power to banish them, I don't know where, but it safe to say they won't be back to Hoshido for the time being." Answered Meta Knight.
"It's okay Meta Knight, we'll find Rathalos again, and next time we'll returned it to it's home world." Assured Mega Man.
"So Corrin, you mind explaining what happened ? I think we all deserve to know what's actually going on." Said Takumi.
"You haven't told them Ryoma ?" Corrin looked at his eldest brother.
"Sorry, I just don't know where to start telling them, I think it's best if they hear it from you directly." Answered Ryoma.
"Okay then, alright listen up, to answer you question, the enemy this time is called Neo Subspace Army..." Corrin begin explaining what happened, what he went through, and everything that's been happening."
"Our parents are up there !? And they're fighting against us again !?" Shouted Takumi.
"Unfortunately, but I promise to find a way to save them, maybe there's a chance it won't end up like last time." Said Corrin. "And so we must be on our way, it's nice to see you all again."
"You're leaving again ?" Asked Hinoka. "But you just got here."
"Yeah, I'm sorry sis, but we need to plan our next move soon, anyway I hope you prepare yourself, and if possible tell Xander what happened here, he needs to know king Garon was here, and he when I spoke to him, he didn't have that menacing presence as the Anankos possessed Garon, this one actually have compassion his words, he really is like what Xander describes him to be."
"Don't worry, I'll send Saizo to relay the message, just like when we go to Valla, it's at times like this Nohr and Hoshido must show unity to overcome any threats coming our way." Answered Ryoma.
"Thank you Ryoma, alright I guess I'll be going now, take care everyone." Corrin then used his golden plate and they returned to the ship.
Neo Subspace Army Base
The former monarchs returned to their base thanks to the white hooded figure. He then proceed to leave them.
Mikoto decided to follow him despite Sumeragi protests.
"You're going to follow him Mikoto !? After what he did to us !?" Yelled Sumeragi.
"Please, he's not the monster you think he is." Mikoto insist on following the figure.
"Why are you following me ?" Asked the figure.
"I just wanted to know if it's really you ?" Answered Mikoto.
"It is me, before I suffer from degeneration, I guess I'm cured, I don't think I won't be going insane in the future."
"But that's good right ? Then maybe we all can.."
The white hooded figure interjected. "You are Sumeragi's wife, and Corrin is better off without me, not after what I've done to all of you, Mikoto I don't deserve any sympathy from anyone Garon, Arete, Sumeragi, I deserve the hatred they have for me, I took them away from their loved ones, I also plunge their countries into war, you won't be happy with me back into your life."
"Everyone deserve a second chance, so please once you did what you did won't you come with us." Pleaded Mikoto.
"I'm sorry, I will find a way to truly resurrect you, that's the only way to be free from Thanatos's power, once that done forget about me, and reunite with your family, if Corrin wants my head I'm more than willing to give it to him." The figure then walked further away from Mikoto.
"Is this what you truly want Anankos ? Don't you wish to be with your son ? Punishing yourself like this won't make that wish come true." Said Mikoto in a grief stricken face.
And done, this chapter is quite long, anyway this is for Persona75 you said you want a chapter where the characters visit Hoshido so here it is, I don't think this is according to what you hoped for, but I still hope you like it.
I do want to make a chapter where they visit Hoshido, but I need to come up with a story for that.
I always wanted to make a battle royale between Charizard, Ridley, and Rathalos, and it finally happened here.
In the game Anankos actually capable of resurrection, but it ended up flawed, they lose their memories of when they're still alive, and they ended up becoming Anankos loyal servants as they're influenced by his power, not so different from what happened to the Warriors of Fallen Stars.
In Monster Hunter Rathalos have weakness to Dragon, Thunder, Ice, and Water, of course they don't know that but Charizard leave it to luck by using Pokemon elemental weakness and resistance, luckily Charizard is right that dragon type attacks are one of Rathalos weaknesses.
Corrin didn't recognize Anankos because he never met Anankos human form.
Character debut : Sakura, Takumi, Hinoka, Reina, Azama, Setsuna, Shiro, Kiragi, Shigure, Yukimura, Mikoto, Garon, Arete, Sumeragi, Anankos.
