Dracula's Castle - Hallway

("Okay Pit, they're gone, you can move now.") Pit crawled from under the table, he got up and quickly dashed away. After defeating the ghost dancers, Pit made his way to the Clock Tower, and with Palutena guiding him every step of the way, Pit was able to avoid unnecessary fighting and gets closer and closer to his destination.

As Pit kept on running he heard a racket not far from where he stand. "Is that a sound of fighting ?" Pit walked closer, he pressed himself on the wall and slowly peeking to see Simon and Gaibon defeating Skeleton Soldiers.

"That should be the the last one, now hurry before more coming, no doubt the entire Castle is aware of our presence !" Exclaimed Gaibon.

"Hold on, I feel like we're being watched." Simon who is unaware of who's watching him looked at Pit's direction and readied his whip.

Pit realizing this, quickly expose himself and begged Simon not to attack. "Whoa it's me ! It's just me !"

"Pit ? Is that really you ?" Simon lay down his whip, relieved it's Pit who he saw.

"Yes, I'm so glad we're reunited." Pit running towards Simon only for Gaibon to block him.

"How do we know you're really Pit ? You could be a witch or a warlock using a spell to disguise yourself." Gaibon is being cautious.

("Would this vouch for him ?") Palutena spoke with the three of them with telepathy. ("I assure you this is the real Pit, not an imposter.")

"If this is the goddess Palutena speaking then it must be true." Said Simon.

Gaibon also believe since Palutena's voice prove that Pit is the real one.

"Okay it isn't too far now, if we keep going straight from here we're going to reach the staircase that leads to the Clock Tower." Pointed Gaibon.

"Lead the way Gaibon." Said Simon as the gargoyle lead the heroes to the Clock Tower.

As the trio running through the hallways, one of the door in the hallway opened, with a panicking Komurasaki and Kazooie coming out from it.

"Quickly close the door !" Exclaimed Kazooie.

Komurasaki quickly closed the door as she and Kazooie barricade the door with their bodies, a loud banging can be heard from the other side of the door.

"We can't block this door for long !" Komurasaki kept holding the door as the banging starti g to push her away little by little.

"...then let them come, I have a truck up my sleeve." Kazooie removed her wings from the door.

"Okay, whatever it is you do, you better have a plan !" Komurasaki jumped out of the way as the door is opened, revealing a horde of monsters barging through the door.

"There's nowhere for you to escape !" Shouted the Minotaur monster.

"That's what you think !" Kazooie transformed into her dragon form, she takes a shape of a green draconic form, her red feathers replaced with green scales, she also grow horns on her head. Kazooie then blast a stream of fire from her mouth, the Minotaur monster screamed as he run back towards the door where he came from, Kazooie chased him and burn the entire path that leads to the door. The monsters horde run in fear as they wanted to avoid being burned.

"Wow Kazooie, I had no idea you can do that." Komurasaki is impressed by Kazooie's feat.

Kazooie then revert to her bird form again. "Yeah, I was enchanted with magic, that's how this is possible, as much as I love using this form i'd rather not overrelying on it."

Soon the two hear a voice calling them.

"Kazooie, Komurasaki ! You're saved !" Shouted Pit.

"Pit ! Simon and Gaibon too ! I'm so glad you're alright." Komurasaki shown relieve seeing her companions are safe.

"Yes, yes we're glad to run into you, so Banjo not with you ?" Asked Kazooie.

"Not with us, maybe he's with Pittoo." Said Pit.

"I told you not to call me that !" Another door in the hallway opened, revealing Dark Pit, Banjo, and Slogra.

"Pittoo ! You're safe !" Pit running to Dark Pit to hug him only for Dark Pit to dodge, causing Pit to hit a wall with everyone sweatdropped witnessing Pit's antics.

"Kazooie ! You're safe !" Banjo and Kazooie finally reunited, though this one is more successful than Pit and Dark Pit as Kazooie went inside Banjo's bag again.

"There's really no place like Banjo's bag." Kazooie clearly missed being in Banjo's bag.

"Good to see you safe buddy." Gaibon said to Slogra.

"You too, we're not Death liutenants for nothing." Slogra and Gaibon shake their hands similar to arm wrestling form.

"All of us are here, now let's make our way to Clock Tower !" Rallied Simon as now that everyone is reunited, they all make their way to the Clock Tower.

Dracula's Castle - Clock Tower

"We finally made it !" Exclaimed Gaibon seeing everyone made it to the top in no time.

"Gotta say, I really thought everyone would be complaining about the amount of stairs we have to climb." Commented Slogra as a skeletal being he may be unable to get tired.

"Come to think of it Simon seems to be the only human around." Commented Komurasaki.

"Yes, but I've travelled to this place more than once, the stairway isn't a problem for me, usually I have to battle many of Dracula's high ranking minions just to get here, compared to that this time is a breeze." Replied Simon.

"Now just beyond that door is got to be where Lord Death is held captive, we're so close now, all we need is just to get through that door and..." As Slogra and Gaibon turned around to look at the door in the Clock Tower they saw two figures standing guard.

"Hold ! Don't step any closer !" Shouted the figure.

"Hey isn't that Cain and Abel ? King Marth knights ?" Simon voiced his surprise seeing the two Altean Knights stationed at the Clock Tower.

"Yeah so what, they're just humans, taking them out will be easy, seriously why would they put these two in charge here ?" Kazooie underestimating Cain and Abel.

"Guess we have no choice, Abel." Cain looked at Abel.

"Y-yeah.." both Cain and Abel pull out their weapons.

"Those weapons !" Exclaimed Slogra.

"What about those weapons ? They look just like a mere sword and lance ? Though I admit the design is quite unique." Commented Pit.

"Y-yeah, that's the Panther Lance and the Bull Blade, we...kinda put some...magical enchantments on those weapons, ha..ha..ha.." Slogra laugh nervously.

"And what does this 'enchantments' you speak of do !?" Dark Pit glared at the two monsters inquisitively.

"U-um...well...it would turned them into werebeasts..." Answered Gaibon nervously.

"Well we can't let that happened !" Pit firing light arrows at Cain and Abel, however a storm of black feathers intercepted Pit arrow shots, Karasuman revealed to be hovering above.

"Karasuman.." Said Slogra with contempt.

"Well if it isn't the two traitors, trying to free your treacherous master isn't it, even teaming up with a Belmont for that, you two are beyond disgraceful." Karasuman mocked Slogra and Gaibon.

"We're the traitors ? The will of Lord Death is the will of Lord Dracula, if anything you're the traitor !" Exclaimed Gaibon.

Karasuman ignored the two as he turned his attention to Komurasaki. "You, yokai girl, why are you siding with humans ? As fellow supernatural creatures we should be allied with each other."

"Not all supernatural beings wished for humanity's destruction or oppression, if anything I found there are numerous humans worthy of our respects." Replied Komurasaki.

"You're a nature spirit aren't you ? You still say that even though you must've seen humans have succumbed by their greed, they only see nature as a means to line their pockets ?" Continued Karasuman.

"We will punish those kind of humans, but there's no need to harm those who seeks to do good, there are humans who cares about preserving nature, and there's also humans doing good deeds out of their own free will, we can't only be focusing on the evils they do and ignore the good they do." Replied Komurasaki.

"I see we won't reached an agreement, humans are inferior to us, and we will make sure they know their place, under our heels, Cain ! Abel ! Harness the weapons power and destroy these traitors and intruders !" Karasuman command Cain and Abel as he ready to fight.

"Y-yes Lord Karasuman." Cain and Abel nodded reluctantly as their weapons being to emit dark energy. "AAAAAAHHHHHH..." Cain and Abel screamed in pain as they undergo a transformation, Cain transformed into a bull, Minotaur like monster, while Abel turned into a Werepanther kind of monster.

"What have you done to them !" Simon is shocked and angered by what he just saw.

"All we did was giving them massive improvements, now they're stronger, faster, and superior in anyway compare to humans." Karasuman responded in a delighted tone. "Sure this new form may be 'shocking' but they will get used to it in due time, Cain ! Abel ! Destroy them !"

Obeyimg Karasuman order Cain and Abel charged at the heroes, Simon intercept them and swing his whip to attack the knights only for Karasuman fire a barrage of sharp feathers at Simon, forcing him to spin his whip to block the feather projectiles.

Pit and Dark Pit shoot energy arrows at Cain and Abel from a distance, the first shot hits them, but they're able to dodge the upcoming attacks.

Kazooie and Gaibon fly above and attack Karasuman, Kazooie firing eggs while Gaibon shoot fireballs, as Karasuman still busy with Simon both Kazooie and Gaibon's attack got him.

"Aaaahhh !" Karasuman fell to the ground from the impact and the feather attacks has stopped.

Cain swing his sword towards Simon, only for him to dodge and swing his whip, wrapping it on Cain's sword, Pit and Dark Pit charged towards Cain, however Cain turned his attention at the two angels and a fireball is formed on the gap between his horns and shooting fireballs at the two angels.

"Whoa !" Pit and Dark Pit jumped backward to avoid the fireball. "Is that one of his powers ?" Asked Pit.

"Does it matter !? No matter what he can do, it will take more than that to take us down !" As Cain about to fire another fireball Dark Pit summon his staff and Pit equipping Predator Cannon, and both shoot on the fireball on Cain's horns, the impact caused an explosion that makes Cain fall to the ground and loosening his grip on the Bull Blade, allowing Simon to retrieve it.

Abel and Slogra is locked in a spear duel as both combatants thrusting their spear but able to parry each other strikes, showcasing both skills with the spear. However as Abel is just one person, he forgot Slogra has allies to back him up, too focusing on his spear duel with Slogra, as Abel about to thrust his spear, he found out he can't move his arms, turns out his body is restrained by plant tendrils.

"My arm ! I can't move it !" Abel struggled to move, but the grip was too strong.

"For a human your skill with the spear isn't bad, being able to keep up with me, alas it has to end now." Slogra readied for a final strike, however Abel took a deep breath and blow, his breath is so powerful it managed to send Slogra and Komurasaki flying away until they hit a wall.

Abel now wanted to do the same to Pit, Dark Pit, and Simon, however as he took a deep breath Banjo put his bag pack on his head, startling Abel.

"Now ! Take his spear !" Shouted Banjo as Slogra telekinetically send his spear and pierced Abel, the pain forced him to let go of his spear. Banjo then grabbed the Panther Lance. "We got it !"

"Fools, do you think by disarming them, it would remove the enchantments, Cain ! Abel ! No more holding back !" Commanded Karasuman as he get back up and fly above.

Cain opened his mouth and unleash a stream of fire, burning the plant tendrils restraining Abel.

Abel remove the spear from his body, and he move swiftly and slashed the heroes with his claws in rapid speed, causing the heroes to fall to the ground, he then conjure a sphere of concentrated wind energy in his hands as he's about to do another attack, however a man eating plants appear behind him, making Cain unleash another fire breath to destroy the man eating plant behind Abel.

With Abel distracted, Pit fired a shot from his Predator Cannon from the ground. Blasting the Werepanther as he fell down, Karasuman shoot a storm of sharp feathers at Pit only for Kazooie to use her Wonderwings, shielding the angel from a barrage of sharp feathers.

Cain is about to attack Kazooie, but Banjo intercept him as they both struggling to push each other away.

Karasuman ceased his feather attack and summon a flock of crows to attack the heroes.

With the flock of crows flying, pecking, and scratching the heroes with their talons, they're too distracted to deal with Cain, Abel, and Karasuman, however Simon, resisting the crows attacks, swing his whip upward and wrapped it on Karasuman's leg and pull him down, causing him to crash to the ground.

As Cain and Banjo still on a stalemate, Cain about to burn Banjo with his fire breath, but Kazooie shoot an egg grenade at the bull monster and an explosion ensued, blasting Cain away, and Banjo fell down from the blast. Nevertheless Cain is now defeated, the explosion on his mouth was too much to bear.

Karasuman shot electric energy on Simon's whip, as the whip is made of metal, it conducts electricity and electrocute Simon, the vampire hunter is electrocuted and forced to let go of his whip, Karasuman shoot several of his feathers at Simon which stabbed the vampire hunter, although the stab wound is shallow it's still painful regardless.

"You're finished Simon, when I'm done with you maybe I'll have you serving us." Taunted Karasuman as he walked closer to Simon, hoping to kill him .

"I won't fall to the likes of you." Simon pull out a stopwatch.

"Wait, that thing !" Karasuman noticed the stopwatch on Simon's hand, he quickly shoot a feather, but it's too late as Simon activate his stopwatch, time is stop as a result.

The crows stop moving, Abel is about to pounce on Dark Pit, but is stopped.

"What's going on ?" Asked Kazooie. "They all stop moving ?"

"This is how." Simon showed his teammates the stopwatch. "This watch can stop time."

"Wait ! If you have something like that why don't you use it in the first place ! Complained Kazooie. "We could've bypass them, avoid this fight and your injuries, and leave immediately !"

"It's not that easy, this watch isn't too effective on powerful creatures like Karasuman, if I used it before the battle, the effect only last a few seconds." Explained Simon.

"Calm down Kazooie, Simon's hurt, we need to rescue Death and return to the mansion quickly." Banjo calmed Kazooie down.

"I can help with the healing." Komurasaki walked towards Simon and healed him with her magic,.the healing magic caused the feathers to magically removed from Simon.

"Thank you Komurasaki, now let's go beyond that door." The heroes approached the door to the Clock Tower top floor, and just like what they thought Death is there, imprisoned on a magic circle, restrained by chains made out of magic.

"Lord Death ! We're here to save you !" Exclaimed Slogra.

"Hurry we must dispel this magic circle !" Exclaimed Gaibon.

"I'll deal with this." Simon swing his whip on the magical chain, immediately destroying it, Simon then whipped the magic circle in the ground repeatedly, tearing apart the magic circle, weakening the effect and releasing Death from imprisonment.

"Lord Death ! It's us ! Can you hear us !?" Exclaimed Slogra grabbing Death hood and shaking him.

"Slogra ? Gaibon ? I see you rescued me, I thank you for this." Death thanked his subordinates.

"Yeah, well we have a little help." Slogra and Gaibon pointed at Simon.

"So, rescued by a Belmont, as long as it benefit Lord Dracula, I'm willing to side with my enemy, it's not my first time doing this." Said Death.

"We saved him, but now what ?" Asked Komurasaki. "He seems weak, he can't materialize in the physical plane right ? Is there anywhere safe for him to recover ?"

"Lord Death needs a host, a powerful one to quickly recover, someone like Rosalina for example." Answered Slogra. "

"Well Rosalina on a mission, so who knows if she's already back, but why can't you two do it instead ?" Komurasaki asked Slogra and Gaibon.

"Oh right, chose me ! Lord Death use me as your host !" Gaibon offered to be Death host.

"Alright, sorry Gaibon, but I'll be staying inside of you for the time being." Death transform himself into purplish ball of light and entered Gaibon's body.

"So mission accomplished ?" Asked Banjo.

"Yes, mission accomplished." Confirmed Slogra. "Look if it's not too much to ask, can we stay with you for the time being ? At least until Lord Death is better."

Before anyone can answer, a black feather is flying towards the heroes, Slogra who is facing the door quickly stepped in spun his spear to block the feathers. "Simon, looks like the stopwatch effect is wore off !"

"You're not going anywhere ! Cain ! Abel ! Get your butts over here and stop them !" Ordered Karasuman even though all three of them badly injured to fight.

"Even being injured they really insists on stopping us." Commented Pit.

"Well they're being stupid if they think they can stop us with their current condition." Said Kazooie.

"Indeed, we already accomplished our mission, there's no need for us to be here any longer." Agreed Simon, as Karasuman firing an orb of electric energy, Simon pull out his golden plate and teleported himself and his allies out of Dracula's Castle, causing the attack to miss with Karasuman screaming in anger.

Dreamscape

Zeekeeper carrying R.O.B's team to reach Koholint Island, along the way they passed by surreal scenery, and after passing several weird scenery they finally reach and island in the middle of ocean.

"There's our destination, Koholint Island !" Announced Zeekeeper.

"We're finally here, that scenery was very bizarre and incomprehensible." Commented R.O.B.

"You haven't seen anything yet, for someone who live on the Dreamscape, there's even more weirder things in there." Replied Zeekeeper.

Zeekeeper slowly descend as he landed on Toronbo Shores.

Torpnbo Shores

Zeekeeper landed on the beach as the heroes get down from him.

"Well here you go, I'll be waiting for you here." Said the Zeekeeper.

"You're not coming with us ?" Asked (LTP)Zelda.

"If a deity like me solve all your problems, you can never experiencing growth, so like I said I'll be waiting here." Zeekeeper insist on staying at the beach. "I'll be sure to help when things gets tough for you."

As they all get down, the heroes saw a young man standing in front of them.

"Hey is that ?" Questioned R.O.B.

"LINK !" (LTP)Zelda quickly rushed towards the young man and hugged him. "Oh how I miss you so !"

"I miss you too Zelda !" (LTP)Link also hugged Zelda back as they both spin around a bit. "Well I'm joining your team now, I will help you anyway I can."

"I'm glad the goddesses send you to help us, come on I'll introduce you to everyone." (LTP)Zelda grabbed (LTP)Link's arm and introduce him to the rest of the heroes.

"Everyone, this is Link, he came from my timeline where Ganondorf succeeded in defeating the Hero of Time." Explained (LTP)Zelda.

"Hi everyone, so I heard from the goddess you already have several Link's and Zelda's assisting you, well now I'm also going to take part in your quest." (LTP)Link said with confidence.

"Nice to meet you, we could always use any help we can get, I'm R.O.B., these are my companions, Prince Dreambert, Rab, Erven, and...well..." R.O.B. stop a bit but (LTP)Link assured him.

"Don't worry I know, that's Ganondorf, he's on our side right" Said (LTP)Link.

"I won't make any excuses, I just want to atone for my wrongdoing, so do you know where they keep the professor's souls ?" Asked Ganondorf.

"Hmm...not really since I just got here, maybe we should ask around, there's a village north of here called Mabe Village, maybe one of the villagers know something." Suggested Link.

"Well asking around townsfolk is one way to acquire information, let's do it then." Erven voiced his agreement.

"Not like we have any other leads, guess this is our only option." Said R.O.B.

"Okay that's settles it, Mabe Village here we come." (LTP)Link lead the heroes to Mabe Village.

Mabe Village

The heroes arrived at Mabe Village, this is a small village located north of Toronbo Shores, it's a beautiful and close knit community with nature still abound.

"Okay laddie, we're here, so where to go next ?" Asked Rab.

"We should go to Grandpa Ulrira, he knows everything about this island, if there are unusual activities going on in this place he'll be the first to know." (LTP)Link lead the others to Grandpa Ulrira's house which is the one on the south of the house with a Chain Chomp looked alike.

"That looks familiar, isn't that a Chain Chomp ?" Asked R.O.B who have encounter a Chain Chomp before during the tournament.

"Yeah, and it's name is BowWow, hi Madam MeowMeow." (LTP)Link waved to the lady who owned the Chain Chomp.

"But how's a Chain Chomp appear in a dream world ?" Asked a confused R.O.B.

"This is a dream world R.O.B, anything is possible here." Ganondorf remind R.O.B.

"I suppose, I still don't understand things not bound by logic." Replied R.O.B.

As they arrived there's an old lady sweeping the front of the house, she saw (LTP)Link and greeted him. "Link ? Is that you ? Long time no see !?"

"Hello Grandma Ulrira, long time no see too, we're here to see Grandpa, is he inside ?" Asked (LTP)Link.

"Of course he is, and he'll be delighted to see you, although..." Grandma Ulrira saw the crowd following (LTP)Link. "I don't think my husband can handle this much crowd."

"Still as shy as ever huh ?" Asked (LTP)Link.

"Yes, believe me it took him years for him to be able to talk to me, I'm sure he's already used to you Link, but with your friends here I'm not so sure." Said Grandma Ulrira.

"That's okay I'll go inside alone, sorry everyone, but can you all wait here, Grandpa Ulrira is very shy, he's not one to easily talk to people face to face." Explained (LTP)Link.

"Don't worry we'll wait here." Said R.O.B as (LTP)Link went inside the house.

"So, how did you all met Link ?" Asked Grandma Ulrira.

Grandpa Ulrira's House

"Hello Mr. Ulrira long time no see !" (LTP)Link greeted the old man.

"Oh, hello Link, it has been a while isn't it ?" Said Grandpa Ulrira, although as he is a person from a dream realm, he practically immortal.

"I see I don't need to go to the phone booth this time." Teased (LTP)Link.

"I've seen you a lot, so I'm starting to get used to you at least, thank you for the help you did to us, so is there anything I can do for you ?" Asked Grandpa Ulrira.

"Yes, you see I returned here because there has been suspicious activities in this island, do you know anything about it ?" Asked (LTP)Link.

"Suspicious activities you say, how do you know that ? To think it would reach to someone from beyond the island." Grandpa Ulrira expressed his surprise when (LTP)Link somehow know of suspicious activities on the island.

"So you do know, please tell me, there's a strong chance the activities are carried out with malicious intent." Demanded (LTP)Link.

"Very well, here's what I know." Grandpa Ulrira agreed and told (LTP)Link what he knows.

Mabe Village

"And that's how we got our first child." (LTP)Zelda told Grandma Ulrira the story how she met Link and what happened after he left Koholint Island, omitting the detail that this place is located in dreamscape.

"She doesn't have to tell us the detail that explicit." Erven whispered to Rab.

"Yer not gonna top that story with ye and Gemma laddie ?" Rab teased Erven as he chuckled to himself.

"Grandpa ! That's private !" Exclaimed Erven which turned everyone attention to him as his face turned red. "Uuh...please pay me no mind."

"I'm back everyone, is something going on here ?" (LTP)Link exited the house.

"Oh I'm just telling Grandma Ulrira about our meeting, your adventures, and what happened after you came back from this island." Answered (LTP)Zelda with a brightest smile you can imagine.

"*Sigh* especially the part on your wedding night, she explains it in very explicit detail." Snarked Ganondorf.

(LTP)Link's face turns red after hearing that and quickly changed the subject. "Okay so, I know where we need to go, it's to Key Cavern, apparently that's where the suspicious activities happened."

"So that's our destination then ? Maybe that's where the professors are ?" Pondered R.O.B.

"We'll know when we get there, anyway we should teleport there." As (LTP)Link pull out his ocarina and about to play, a female voice spoke (LTP)Link's name.

"Link !" The voice came from a red haired girl wearing a blue dress and a flower on her hair, behind her is a large middle aged man with a large mustache on his face.

"Marin, Tarin ?" (LTP)Link voiced his surprise.

"Link, I heard you're back, why didn't you say so ?" Marin sounded disappointed, (LTP)Zelda on the other hand starting to feel jealous, but she tried to hide that as she greeted the island girl.

"Oh so you're Marin, Link told me about you, I'm..grateful for helping him during his stay here, I'm Zelda nice to meet you." (LTP)Zelda flashed a fake smile.

"Oh so you're Princess Zelda ! It's an honor to meet you in person, Link also told me a lot about you." Replied Marin oblivious to (LTP)Zelda animosity.

"Now now Marin, I'm sure Link is here because he has business to attend to, we should let him finish what he's doing first." Tarin said to his daughter.

"Oh okay then, please come visit us again okay Link, and of course your friends are allowed to come as well." Both Marin and Tarin leave the heroes as they head back.

"Oooh, could a drama be brewing." Teased Grandma Ulrira.

"Huh ?" (LTP)Link left confused by what she said.

"Ahem, before things gets anymore weird, let's head to this Key Cavern and finish our mission." Dreambert put the heroes back on track.

"Link ! Link !" Someone seemed to shout (LTP)Link's name, as the heroes looked around a couple approached the heroes.

"Papahl ? Mamasha ? What's going on ?" Asked (LTP)Link.

"So it's true you're back here, Link I'm sorry for imposing, but could you please find out children ?" Papahl is very worried.

"The quadruplets ? What happen to them !?" (LTP)Link started to fear the worst.

"Our children, they haven't came back, they say they want to explore the island, and we let them go seeing there aren't any monsters here anymore, but they haven't came back ! They say they went to Ukuku Prairie, hopefully they don't enter any of the caves there." Explained Mamasha.

"Don't worry, we'll find them, everyone looks like we have missing children to find." (LTP)Link played his ocarina and the heroes are teleported to away.

Ukuku Prairie

The heroes arrived at Ukuku Prairie, a large field located east of Mabe Village, because of (LTP)Link's song the heroes teleported and reappeared at Ukuku Prairie warp point.

"Alright you guys, we're here at Ukuku Prairie, Key Cavern is located south from this warp point, although there's statues blocking our path so we need to use the long way." Explained (LTP)Link.

"Why take the long way ? I can fly." Said Dreambert.

"We can bypass the statues, I can teleport us there, now take us to the cave, the short way." Commanded Ganondorf.

(LTP)Link sighed as he lead the heroes to the cave as he walked south, cutting the tall grasses in the way until they encounter a one eyed statues, you can see the cave from the gaps of the statue. "There's the cave." However (LTP)Link sensed something strange about the cave. "I can sense dark power enveloping the cave."

"So am I." Replied (LTP)Zelda.

"Hold on, what are we going to do about the missing children ?" (LTP)Link stop in his tracks.

"I got the feeling this is connected." Replied Ganondorf. "I haven't been with the Neo Subspace Army for long, but they have plans involving children."

"Meaning if we find out enemy we found the children too ?" Questioned (LTP)Link.

"Yes." Answered Ganondorf.

"But what are they going to do with a bunch of kids ? This is awful, they're being taken away from their parents !" (LTP)Zelda said with fury in her voice.

"But what do they want with the kids from Koholint Island ? They're people from Dream World, they can't exist in physical plane, or could it be they have plans involving Dream World as well ?" Dreambert continue thinking.

"Look we have to take one step at a time, we don't know what the enemy are thinking, speculating won't get us anywhere, we need to enter that cave first, those kids could be involved in that suspicious activities, anyway these statues are blocking the way." Pointed (LTP)Link. "Although with the dark power surrounding the cave it's possible there's a trap waiting for us."

"We don't have a choice, if we don't do anything, they can continue with their evil plan unhindered, so allow me." (LTP)Zelda used her magic to teleport the heroes to the entrance of the cave. "You're welcome dear."

"Zelda you're amazing." (LTP)Link kissed (LTP)Zelda on the cheek as she blushed. "Okay, everyone ready ?"

The heroes nodded knowing this might be a trap didn't discourage them from doing the right thing. "Okay let's go." (LTP)Link lead the heroes inside.

Key Cavern

The heroes went inside the cave, it's a dimly lit cave no different than any others, the heroes made their way inside.

"Hmm..." As they walked (LTP)Link stroking his chin which (LTP)Zelda noticed.

"Something wrong Link ?" Asked (LTP)Zelda.

"Yeah, something isn't right." Answered (LTP)Link.

"What's not right ?" Asked Erven.

"During my stay in Koholint Island there's an owl that tells me to find the instruments needed to wake the Wind Fish, however he didn't show up at all." Answered (LTP)Link. "The Owl is the guardian of this island, and yet..."

"There's a chance the Owl you speak of is caught by the enemy." Said Ganondorf.

"That's what I fear too, and unfortunately we don't have any leads, hopefully he's fine." (LTP)Link said with a worry in his face.

"Hey Link, that red haired girl earlier, Marin is it ?" Asked (LTP)Zelda.

"Yes, she helped me during my stay here...you're not jealous are you ?" (LTP)Link asked with a smirk in his face.

"W-what ! I don't ! I...maybe...I'm sorry I know I shouldn't be." Answered (LTP)Zelda apologetically.

"C'mon Zelda you know you're the only one I love, Marin and I are just friends." Assured (LTP)Link.

"Yeah I know, if anything I should be grateful she's taking care of you when i'm unable to." Replied (LTP)Zelda as (LTP)Link smiled at her.

The heroes kept on walking, surprisingly there aren't any monsters in this cave, unlike the first time (LTP)Link visited this place, a bit later a voice can be heard, the heroes hear this voice and crept slowly and hide to see where the voice came from.

What they saw was a grey skinned man wearing a red cape around his body, the figure is talking to someone, but the heroes unable to take a look who is the man talking to.

"That figure, no doubt about it, it's Ghirahim." Ganondorf recognized the figure.

"Demise right hand man, didn't expect to see him here, what is he doing here ?" Asked (LTP)Zelda.

"He's talking to someone, but it's not clear who he's talking to from here...wait I think he's done talking." Said (LTP)Link.

Ghirahim turned around after he's done talking, however he didn't move from the spot where he stand.

"He's just stood there, could he be guarding something ?" Asked Rab.

"Alright I'm gonna beat him and have him tell us everything." (LTP)Link ready to leap into action only for him to be stopped.

"You fool, don't just expose yourself like that, Ghirahim is dangerous enemy, he's Demise right hand man !" Exclaimed Ganondorf.

"Surely I can beat him, my predecessor did, single handedly." Continued (LTP)Link, insisting he can win.

"He win not by being stupid, look I have an idea, pretend I capture all of you." Suggested Ganondorf.

"Will that fool him ?" R.O.B skeptical of the plan.

"No, but at least we can get closer, there's no way he can take us all by himself, it's better than him slinging energy balls from that distance, and also by doing this we can distract him from calling his teammates whoever they are, whoever he is talking to." Explained Ganondorf.

"I'm still skeptical of this plan." Replied R.O.B.

"I know I'm not one to be trusted easily, but I have no plans on turning on all of you, if I did that feel free to turn me into a trophy and not revive me." Hearing Ganondorf's resolve the heroes agreed to his plan albeit reluctantly, Ganondorf still isn't fully trusted, but there aren't any other option, catching Ghirahim off guard is better than facing him directly especially since they just saw Ghirahim isn't alone.

The heroes put the plan into action as Ganondorf restrained the heroes arms with his magic, he walked towards Ghirahim with the heroes restrained.

"Ganondorf ? Well isn't this a surprise, and you captured the enemy as well, and this traitor R.O.B." Ghirahim squatting and put his face closer to R.O.B. "You make a fatal mistake turning against us, and you Ganondorf, I'm glad you finally see where you truly belong."

"Yes, my betrayal of Neo Subspace Army was part of my plan to infiltrate the enemy, gathering information on them, and when they let their guard down, that's my moment to strike, now where should I take them ?" Ganondorf quickly interject.

"Just pass through this way." Ghirahim step aside to let the heroes pass.

With the heroes continue walking inside walking they're backs turned against Ghirahim, Ghirahim smirked as he summon a sword to his hand, he leapt and aim to impale Ganondorf, however Ganondorf see this coming and already conjure a magic barrier beforehand, the sword ended up touching the barrier instead.

"What !" Ghirahim quickly teleported back as he regain his conposure. "Not bad, you came prepared aren't you."

"I had a feeling you don't believe me, even capturing the heroes didn't fool you." Replied Ganondorf. "Well no matter, not even you can take all of us at once !" Ganondorf remove the magical restraints.

"I knew you were coming, and so you're not the only one came prepared, Facade !" Ghirahim called out to someone, and soon after a face appeared on the cave floor.

"You call ?" Said the face, it's a pair of eyes and mouth.

"Aaahh ! What is that !" (LTP)Zelda is shocked by what she sees.

"Facade ! But I destroy you !" Exclaimed (LTP)Link.

"What you need to know is that we're back and the Nightmares will have their revenge." The cave begin to shake as the inside of the cave is getting rearranged, walls are formed, pathways opens and closes, Facade has completely changing the interior of Key Cavern, separating the heroes from each other.

"Hey wake up." (LTP)Link slowly opened his eyes as he heard a voice calling out to him, once he opened his eyes he saw an anthropomorphic frog dressed in regal garb and wearing a crown.

"Mamu ? Is that you ?" Asked (LTP)Link.

"Well do you know any other frog as regal as me ?" Mamu boasted his cape.

"It's good to see you again, by the way what are you doing here ?" Asked (LTP)Link.

"I wanted to explore this cave, after returning from my tour I see this island no longer infested with monsters so I brave myself and entered this place, but for some strange reason the place ended up changing somehow." Explained Mamu.

"Say Mamu, do you see anyone else in here ?" Asked (LTP)Link.

"No, other than you I didn't see anyone else in here." Answered Mamu.

"I see, well I need to regroup with my friends, why don't you come with me, we can look for a way out together." (LTP)Link offered Mamu to come with him.

"Okay, I believe it's faster if we worked together." Mamu and (LTP)Link begin exploring the cave hoping to reunite with the heroes.

"I can't escape, I tried opening dream portal but it just won't open." Said Dreambert.

"Me neither, my Evac spell didn't work either, looks like we have to find everyone and escape the old fashioned way."

"So I heard you're a prince." Erven asked Dreambert as they walk.

"Yes, although thanks to Antasma my people and I ended up petrified for centuries, everyone think of us as extinct species because of that, it's all thanks to Mario and Luigi that the Pi'illo race returned." Dreambert told Erven of his story.

"I'm guessing that's one thing we have in common, turns out I'm also a prince of a kingdom called Dundrasil, but my kingdom was destroyed by monsters, because of this mark." Erven showed Dreambert the mark of Luminary. "As the Luminary I'm the defense humanity have against the demon lord bent on conquering the world, they wished to eliminate me before I became a threat to them.

"I'm sorry to hear that, being a chosen one has it's burdens huh ?" Asked Dreambert sympathizing with Erven.

"You had no idea what trouble this mark brings me, but this mark also allow me to meet my friends and we all work together to vanquish the evil threatening our world, long story short I gave this mark to a predecessor, but for this mission the mark of Luminary is returned to me." Erven share his story with Dreambert.

"So what happens then ?" Asked Dreambert.

"Well, my grandpa rebuilt Dundrasil, he's asking me to take my rightful place as the prince, but I decline his offer and continue living in Cobblestone village, after being raised in small village for decades, I don't think I have what it takes to enter the world of politics." Answered Erven.

"True, the life of royalty can be stressful, and the responsibility is too high, I can see why some people choose to stay away from it, is Mr. Rab taking it well ? You're not returning to your kingdom ?"

"He's fine with it, he already picked a trustworthy successor before his passing, Dundrasil is in better hands." Answered Erven.

"That's good to hear, you know I'm thinking of inviting everyone to Pi'illo Island once things calmed down a bit, what say you ?" Asked Dreambert.

"Dundrasil may no longer exist, but I'd love too." Answered Erven.

"Come on, I'm inviting everyone as a guest, not for political ties." Dreambert and Erven continue chatting as they continue walking or flying in Dreambert case.

"It's no use, I can't teleport out." (LTP)Zelda given up using magic to escape from the cave. "Not even the golden plate works, maybe the dark power we sensed earlier is what preventing us from leaving."

"Non escape magic seems fine lassie." Rab demonstrating his magical prowess.

"Apparently this cave only blocking escape related magic, guess we're walking then." Said (LTP)Zelda.

"Aye, we need to regroup, yer maybe a goddess incarnation, but yer still vulnerable to danger, I have to make sure you reunited with yer husband." Replied Rab.

"Yeah, thank you Mr. Rab, still though, Link and I are reborn in our teenage years, not that I'm ungrateful, but it would sound weird calling us husband and wife." (LTP)Zelda grateful for her youth, but she realize she can't call (LTP)Link her spouse..

"I have to say lassie, yer life ain't that different from ours, evil sorcerer, kingdom under attack." Rab comparing his life to (LTP)Zelda.

"Such as our fate, if it wasn't for Link, Hyrule would be under Ganon's rule."

"I'll say lassie that Ganondorf fella reminds me of our enemy Mordegon, his army of monsters are what led Dundrasil to ruins." Continued Rab.

"Honestly I'm worried, I hope he's not planning anything sinister now that maybe there's no one to keep an eye on him." (LTP)Zelda voiced her concerns as she and Rab press on.

"No good, I can't teleport, R.O.B ! Link ! Anyone !" Ganondorf shouted only for no one to answer. "Guess I have to find them the normal way."

Ganondorf wandered around the cave, as he kept in walking a voice can be heard. "Looking for someone ?"

Ganondorf stopped in his tracks. "That voice ! Show yourself Ghirahim !" The demon materialize and hovered above Ganondorf.

"Are you looking for your teammates ?" Asked Ghirahim mockingly.

"Who else would I be looking !? That strange face creature just separate all of us, and somehow I can't teleport, either with my power or the golden plate !" Exclaimed Ganondorf.

"Of course not, we have to make things difficult for you, we can't let you get close to the professor's souls after all." Continued Ghirahim taking a laying down position in the air.

"What !? How do you know that's why we're here !?" Ganondorf is shocked how Ghirahim know. "And you said you know we were coming ? Explain !"

"Why else would you come here, and I bet it's Death who told you, but that's beside the point, would finding your teammates will be worth it ?" Ghirahim planning to plant doubt on Ganondorf's head.

"What do you mean ?" Asked Ganondorf confused.

"I'm a demon I can sense the darkness within people's hearts, and your teammates have no trust in you, despite your efforts of trying to prove yourself, it doesn't seem to do anything." Taunted Ghirahim.

"That's not true ! Snake introduced me to his world sport during our vacation, and...their reactions are justified, after what I've done it took a long time to build trust." Answered Ganondorf.

"But for how long you'll be under their mercy ? Your rightful place is with us, you belong in the darkness like us." Ghirahim hovered around Ganondorf.

"No ! I want to leave that world behind !" Ganondorf denying Ghirahim manipulations.

"But you can't, allow me to demonstrate." Ghirahim snapped his finger, a magic circle formed on the ground and soon Nabooru and Aveil appeared. "Nabooru, Aveil please demonstrate your true feelings to your king what was it like ?"

"Like this !" Nabooru summoned her spear using her sage of spirit power and lunged at Ganondorf, Aveil on the other hand already have twin scimitars on her waist, she unsheathed her swords and follow after Nabooru.

Ganondorf summoned swords on both his hands, which he used to block against Aveil and Nabooru's attack.

Nabooru teleported and reappeared above Ganondorf as she impale him from above, Ganondorf create a barrier to stop the attack from connecting, unfortunately as he focused in Nabooru, he didn't noticed Aveil slashed him from the sides, while he's protected by his armor, Ganondorf still fell down from the impact.

"Do you see now ? You're own subjects despise you, so much they want you dead." Ghirahim continue talking. "I've been briefed about your teammates, apparently you're not the only king there, there's also Bowser, Dedede, Marth, Corrin, Chrom, why I can list the differences."

"Bowser's minions are amazingly loyal to him, they're willing to stand by him through and through, but right now his minions are brainwashed. Dedede...well he may not have real authority, but no doubt the citizens and his Waddle Dee's also had no problem with him. And then there's Marth, he's so beloved and trusted even neighbouring countries relinquished their thrones to him because they all trusted him, honestly it's amazing the entire continent is united without bloodshed, the goal was only to defeat Medeus and yet Marth got more than that as he become a king of the entire Archanean continent."

"Corrin managed to united his sibling and put an end to the hostilities between Hoshido and Nohr, and Chrom was able to find allies from anywhere including enemy nations, but you...compared to them there's nothing like that about you, history shows you're nothing but a monster who brought ruin to Hyrule, the gerudo race saw you as a black mark to their history, and you still believe you can walk in the light ? No matter what you do you're nothing but a monster, an evil given flesh."

Hearing Ghirahim has Ganondorf begin to doubt himself, the guilt he felt, the comparison pointed between his fellow kings made Ganondorf even more dejected with himself.

"And of course how could I forget the moment you made R.O.B the last of his kind." This ended up being the final straw to Ganondorf. "After all the atrocities you've done you can never be forgiven, they only put up with you because of your power, without that you're useless, they will abandon you once you no longer serve any purpose to them."

"Nabooru, Aveil what do you think of your...king ?" Ghirahim asked the gerudos.

"He's no king to me ! He's nothing but a tyrant, a monster ! He needs to be put down...permanently !"

"I agree with Nabooru, none of us are sad when he was defeated by the Hero of Time, just keep him away from us." Added Aveil.

"Why torture yourself like this ? While you can rise above them, you don't need them, this mission for you is pointless, your so called teammates only have contempt for you, once you make the slightest mistake, you're dead to them." Ghirahim whispered in Ganondorf's ear. "They will wait for you to screw up so they can justify in destroying you."

"So, it's time to make your choice, will you come with us who can give you the glory you deserve ? Or will you continue in deluding yourself, hoping to gained the forgiveness you will never have ?" Ghirahim offered his hand to Ganondorf.

Ganondorf slowly move his hand to accept Ghirahim's offer, however...

"Don't listen to him !" A laser beam is fired from a distance, Ghirahim got hit and send crashing to a wall. Turns out that laser came from R.O.B who managed to rescue Ganondorf in time.

"R.O.B ?" Ganondorf is shocked that R.O.B just saved him.

"Ganondorf, I admit most of us still didn't trust you, we kept our distance and compared to Bowser, Dedede, Dark Pit, I know we've been keeping our distance from you, but slowly we're beginning to trust you, you're out ally, I believe you're not the same man you once were." R.O.B turned his face towards Ganondorf and offered his hand.

"R.O.B...i'm sorry, I'm almost tempted, I'm aware of the consequences when I decided to join you, Ghirahim, I'm aware the path I take is the most difficult one, but the outcome will be much better, and at the very least I'm Demise pawn no longer !" Declared Ganondorf.

Nabooru and Aveil is surprised in hearing this.

Ghirahim is standing up and threatened Ganondorf. "You will regret daring to cut ties with us !"

"The moment Demise cast his curse, my fate is sealed, I will not let you take my freedom !" Ganondorf fired an orb of dark energy to Ghirahim.

"Nabooru ! Aveil ! Defend your master !" Obeying Ghirahim's command Nabooru and Aveil quickly stepped in in front of him and Nabooru fired an orb of spirit energy, intercepting Ganondorf's attack.

"Nabooru ! Aveil ! I have failed you two, I don't expect for you to forgive me for my past transgression, but at least allow me to feel you from their control, I'll bring you two back to life !" Ganondorf is about to cast his resurrection magic on the two gerudo warriors, however this ended up causing them to go berserk.

"No...I...can't control my body." Aveil begin charging at Ganondorf with reluctant but murderous intent. While Nabooru hovered in the air and using an out of control telekinesis as she chipped away the rocks on the wall and floor and using them as projectiles against Ganondorf.

Ganondorf conjure a barrier to protect himself. "Aveil ! Nabooru ! Why are you !?"

"We can't control our body." Said Aveil as she repeatedly smashing the barrier with her sword. "We were given order to resist resurrection by any means necessary."

"I see, I can resurrect you from inside this barrier, hold on I will save you." Ganondorf put his hand in front of Nabooru direction.

"This isn't good, we can't lose them now, Nabooru ! Aveil ! I desummon you !" Nabooru and Aveil disappear from the cave as Ghirahim undoing the summoning magic he did to the gerudo warriors.

"I may have failed to sway you back to our side, but don't think you've won just yet !" Ghirahim teleported away, it seems teleportation is possible when Neo Subspace Army member does it.

"He's gone, R.O.B, thank you for trusting me, we will come back with the professor's souls, it's the least I could do after what I did to your kin."

R.O.B nodded as the two move forward.

"Can't believe one of the Nightmare is back, and during my visit too ! This is so annoying !" Grumbled Mamu. "Now escaping is getting difficult."

"We'll find a way, if we can't we can always destroy the cave walls." Suggested (LTP)Link.

"I'm not a warrior like you, I doubt I can help with fighting like you." Snarked Mamu.

"Don't worry, you know I don't mind doing the heavy lifting." Replied (LTP)Link jokingly.

As the two kept on walking, (LTP)Link starting to get the feeling he's not alone.

"What's wrong Link ? You look like you've seen a ghost ?" Asked Mamu.

"Huh ? Oh sorry, it's just I'm starting to have a feeling we're not alone." Answered (LTP)Link.

"What do you mean by that ? Could it be a ghost ?" Questioned Mamu.

"Or maybe it's me." A voice can be heard from somewhere.

"Who's there ! Show yourself !" Exclaimed (LTP)Link as he unsheathed his Koholint Sword and look around.

A shadow on the cavern floor is shown moving and stopping in one spot, and from that spot, a figure emerge from that shadow, much to (LTP)Link shock the figure looks a lot like Link, the difference is, his hair is purple and he wear a black and white tunic, and a black hat.

"What the !? Who are you ?" Asked (LTP)Link.

"Hmm...who am I ? I guess you could say I'm your shadow, you can call me Shadow Link." Shadow Link introduces himself with a mocking tone.

"Shadow Link ? Wait, were you from the time after the Hero of Twilight era ?" Asked (LTP)Link.

"Oh no no no, I'm nothing like those inferior mindless copies, I'm stronger, smarter, and overall more handsome, to bad I don't have my own Zelda, maybe I can just take yours." Replied Shadow Link sinisterly.

"Not gonna happen, but since you're looking for a fight, I'll give you one !" (LTP)Link is ready for a fight.

"Oh we're fighting already ? Okay, although I do believe this part of the cave is too crowded." Shadow Link looked at Mamu, Shadow Link then create a portal made of darkness at the floor where Mamu stand, Mamu then fell to the portal below him."

"AAAAAAHHHHHH" Screamed Mamu as he fell to the portal below.

"Mamu !" (LTP)Link tried to save him only for the portal to close.

"Ooh too late, must be very unfair we can teleport and make portals while you can't." Shadow Link taunting (LTP)Link.

"You're dead !" (LTP)Link begin to charge at Shadow Link.

Shadow Link summoned a sword, and the two Links clashing their blades multiples times, the two then got stuck in a blade lock, Shadow Link made 6 duplicates of himself, but those duplicates resemble the Shadow Link's after the era of twilight, and they all carried either swords and rods.

The Shadow Link's copies attacked (LTP)Link with a Fire Rod, burning the Hylian with fire, Shadow Link then fired off a sword beam towards (LTP)Link.

(LTP)Link is hit and fell down to the floor.

"You're outnumbered, it's best if you just give up." Mocked Shadow Link as he walked closer and pointed with his sword.

"You know I can't do that." Despite down for the count (LTP)Link remains defiant.

"Is that so ? Then you only have yourself to blame for my next action, clones ! Finish him !" The Shadow Link clones changed their weapons to Fire Rod, attempting to destroy (LTP)Link for good, however (LTP)Link pull out a magic cape and covered himself with it, making him invisible.

"What ! He disappeared ! Everyone be on guard !" As all the Shadow Link's looking around, one of them got stabbed by (LTP)Link, the stabbed Shadow Link copy then dissipates.

"Over there !" Shouted Shadow Link pointing at (LTP,)Link, however as the clones begin charging for him, (LTP)Link disappeared again using the magic cape, and another clone got killed by (LTP)Link.

Rinse and repeat, one by one all the Shadow Link copies have been eliminated, now there's only one copy and real Shadow Link left, the two of them are getting paranoid as they tried to anticipate an attack, but after a while there have been no attacks coming from (LTP)Link.

"Where is he ?" Shadow Link looked around to see nothing happened and he became increasingly paranoid.

Turns out (LTP)Link's goal wasn't to defeat Shadow Link, but to escape from him, and making him paranoid, as Shadow Link kept anticipating an attack that never gonna happen (LTP)Link already escaping.

(LTP)Zelda and Rab kept on walking.

"Are you okay Mr. Rab ? Should we take a break ?" (LTP)Zelda showed her concerns to the old man.

"Thank you for yer concern lassie, but there's no need, I may be old, but I still got some fight left in me." Rab tells her that he's fine.

"Okay then...wait I sense magical energy not far from here !" Exclaimed (LTP)Zelda.

"Do ye know who it's belong to ?" Asked Rab.

"It's unfamiliar, but the power I sense is divine, not too different from me." Answered (LTP)Zelda.

"That must be Erven, he's close now !" Rab wanted to see his grandson again.

"Yes we should hurry." (LTP)Zelda and Rab run towards the presence she sensed.

Erven and Dreambert hear someone calling their name as they continue moving.

"Did you hear that ? I think someone is calling to you ?" Asked Dreambert.

"I hear it too, maybe it's in of our allies ?" Questioned Erven.

"It's a female voice, it could be Zelda." Said Dreambert.

"Hopefully it's her and not enemy pretending to be her, let's go." Erven and Dreambert also run towards the voice calls ng out to them, and lo and behold it is (LTP)Zelda with Rab behind her, as they about to reunite a wall emerge from the ground, preventing them from regrouping.

"What the !?" Exclaimed (LTP)Zelda.

"I can't let you regroup !" Facade appears once again with his eyes and mouth appear on the floor.

"Ye ! Separate me from my grandson again will ye ! Don't think you'll get away this time !" Rab respond angrily at the nightmare being.

"Oh of course not, I plan on trapping you in this cave forever !" Facade create a trail of spiky rocks erupting from the grounds heading towards Rab, but Rab destroy it using his Kazam spell.

Facade closed his mouth and face and reappeared in a different part of the room, he lifted a chunk of the floor and throw it at (LTP)Zelda and Rab, but the two combined their magic, (LTP)Zelda fired a ball of light while Rab cast Kazam, destroying the boulder chunk.

Rab then cast another Kazam at Facade, but the nightmare entity closed his eyes and mouth again, so Rab's attacks technically missed.

"Slippery that one." Commented an annoyed Rab.

Facade reappeared again and create multiple spiked rocks at a faster speed, (LTP)Zelda cast Nayru's Love, creating a barrier to protect her and Rab from the incoming attacks.

"He's not giving us a chance to fight back." Said (LTP)Zelda. "If I could teleport then maybe I can quickly go to where he is and attack."

Facade attacking the barrier relentlessly, soon from the ground he create constructs shaped like a hand and continue punching the barrier, the barrier now have more attacks to withstand.

"If this keeps up the barrier gonna breaks !" (LTP)Zelda can't seem to hold the barrier any longer.

As (LTP)Zelda struggle to maintain the barrier Rab noticed Facade hasn't moved as he unleash a barrage of attacks, seeing an opportunity he cast Kacrack on the nightmare entity.

Facade saw small icicles manifest from above and descends down, and then big chunk of ice manifest and hits him right in the middle.

"Aaarrghh !" Facade closed his eyes and mouth again and the attack stopped.

(LTP)Zelda remove the barrier as she takes a moment to rest, however that isn't the end as Facade reappear once again, and this time he create a pitfall right under (LTP)Zelda and Rab's feet, the two ended up calling, but still managed to grab the ledge.

"It's over for you two !" As Facade about to close the pitfall, a pulse of dark energy shot Facade, and then a specter figure rescue (LTP)Zelda and Rab.

"I don't know what happened, but thank you for saving us." (LTP)Zelda looked at her rescuer face to her surprise she didn't think Darkrai would rescue her. "Darkrai ? What are you doing here ?"

("I sensed a nightmarish energy coming from this cave and I just have to investigate, I see you two are in a pinch.") Answered Darkrai.

"Aye, we would've been a goner if ye didn't come to save us." Stated Rab.

("Well since you haven't come out in a while Zeekeeper contacted us to lend a hand.") Continued Darkrai.

"Us ?" (LTP)Zelda confused by this statement as it implied Darkrai didn't come here alone.

Meanwhile...right after Facade formed a wall to prevent the heroes from regrouping.

"Grandpa ! Grandpa !" Erven hitting the wall with his fist to no avail.

"We have to destroy this wall !" Exclaimed Dreambert.

"Of course, and I know just what to do." Erven pull out his sword, the Supreme Sword of Light.

"I will help too." Dreambert formed an energy ball in his hand.

As Erven and Dreambert about to attack the wall something fell behind them and the fall made a loud noise.

"What was that ?" The sound caused Erven and Dreambert to looked behind, a spherical figure appeared behind them, it has two purple eyes and the bottom part of the creature seems to have fur covering that part.

"YOU WILL NOT INTERFERE !" The creature charged towards the heroes, as it move a smaller version of it's head formed behind, taking a shape of a centipede like creature.

"Watch out !" Dreambert carry Erven to avoid the creature.

"I AM MOLDORM, YOUR OPPONENT IZZZZ ME."

Moldorm crawling to a wall then ceiling and continue chasing Dreambert as the prince kept on flying to avoid the centipede monster.

"This thing is really fast for a centipede !" Exclaimed Dreambert who is being chased while carrying Erven.

"Dreambert put me down ! I'll attack him from below !" Breeding Erven, Dreambert descend down and let go of Erven.

Erven gather electrical energy on his hand and cast Zap on the centipede monster, however the attack seemed to have no effect, the nightmare entity then jumped down and chased the Erven again.

Dreambert then picked Erven up to avoid the Moldorm.

"That was a close one, a bit late and you would be centipede lunch." Commented Dreambert.

"My attack have no effect." Said Erven.

"Maybe electric attack didn't work, let's try other kind of attack." Suggested Dreambert.

"Alright, and I know just what to use." Erven placed his hand in front and cast Quadraslash, a large construct shaped like a sword descend from above and impaled Moldorm, however it still doesn't affect him and he crawl to the ceiling again.

"Unbelievable ! Not even Quadraslash worked on him !" Erven expressed his shock.

"How did Link even beat this thing !? There's got to be a weakness or something !?" Exclaimed Dreambert.

"Well it's head and body seems not where to be attacked, I'll try the eyes." Erven casting Frizz at Moldorm and aimed it on the eyes, but it has no effect either.

"Well not the eyes either, any other location to strike ?" Asked Dreambert.

"What about the belly ?" Asked Erven.

"Well there's the tail, I noticed the shell covering it's tail opened and closing at certain times, maybe there's where we should attack." Suggested Dreambert.

"Okay we try attacking the tail, but this thing is too fast, I need an opening." Said Erven.

"I'll be the bait, I can fly so mobility is not a problem for me." Offered Dreambert.

"Okay, I'll leave that to you." Dreambert put Erven down again as Moldorm removed himself from the ceiling and landed to the ground.

Dreambert generate a fire in his hand and destroyed the ground Moldorm currently stand, the creature lost his balance and fell down, the shell covering it's tail has opened, Erven then cast Quadraslash again, but this time it struck the tail, Moldorm screamed in pain as a result.

"It worked ! The tail is where we supposed to strike !" Exclaimed Erven as he and Dreambert found an answer.

"ZZZZO WHAT IF YOU FOUND OUT MY WEAK ZZZPOT !" Moldorm climb out from the destroyed floor and chasing Dreambert and Erven at even higher speed, both Erven and Dreambert caught off guard and head-butted to the wall.

Moldorm then restrained the two princes with his many legs. "I'M GONNA DEVOUR YOU !" Moldorm readied his mandible, however a bright light suddenly appeared and inflict pain on the centipede monster. "AAAAAAHHHHHH ! WHAT IZZZ THIZZZ LIGHT !"

Moldorm let go of his grip to Erven and Dreambert where they saw Cresselia floated above.

("So you're a nightmare entity, and since I have the power to dispel nightmares I suppose my appearance would pained you.") Said Cresselia.

"NO GOOD, I CAN'T ZZZTAY HERE MUCH LONGER !" Moldorm then quickly made a hasty retreat as he left the heroes.

"Cresselia thank you for coming to our aid." Dreambert and Erven showed their gratitude to the moon pokemon.

("Gratitude can wait, we must rescue your allies first.") Cresselia pointed to the wall in front of the heroes.

"Right, everyone together !" Erven cast Kafrizzle, Dreambert fired off a beam of energy, and Cresselia used it's psychic powers to destroy the wall.

The wall destroyed from the other side, creating a hole that connect both sides, Erven and Dreambert then rushed to greet their companions. "Grandpa ! Zelda !" Exclaimed Erven.

"I'm glad you two are alright !" Stated Dreambert.

"We're fine, Darkrai came through for us !" (LTP)Zelda pointed at Darkrai.

"Well for us we have Cresselia to thank." Dreambert pointed at Cresselia.

"So when you say us Cresselia's the one coming with you." Said (LTP)Zelda.

("Yes, with my power to detect nightmares and Cresselia's power to dispel nightmare, week are unbeatable.") Commented Darkrai.

"You're right, we thought we can handle it, but..."

("Say no more princess, it's better to have a surprise reinforcement, we can caught the enemy off guard like this.") Cresselia assured (LTP)Zelda it's fine.

"Okay now we need to find Ganondorf, R.O.B, and Link !" Exclaimed Rab.

"Hey I'm still here ! And there's no way I'm letting you meet with them !" Ranted Facade angrily.

("Cresselia, why don't you introduce yourself to him ?") Replied Darkrai sarcastically.

("Maybe I will.") Cresselia float closer to Facade as the nightmare entity is feeling a great pain.

"Aaaahhhhh ! What is this ! I'm feeling a great pain, I have to retreat !" Facade closed his eyes and mouth and never reappear again.

"Well he's gone, now we have to find Link, R.O.B, and Ganondorf." The heroes now joined with Darkrai and Cresselia searching for the rest of their companions.

Key Cavern - Innermost Chamber

In the depths of Key Cavern, there's two flames hovered in the air, these flames are the souls of Dr. Vector and Dr. Hector, these souls are held hostage to force R.O.B into serving Neo Subspace Army.

Ghirahim teleported here, apparently he has something else up his sleeve.

"I can't let them succeed !" Ghirahim summoned his sword and approached the two souls, he swing his sword and managed to destroy the barrier protecting the souls. "That's unexpectedly easy, Wind Fish power must've weakening, I'm taking these souls to the City of Souls and have them eaten by the Soul Devourer."

"You won't get away with this Ghirahim !" Inside the room there's also an owl locked in a cage, the Owl can speak human language.

"Ah, but I have Mr guardian, honestly I can't believe you're so easy to take down when we arrive here." Ghirahim mocked the Owl.

"You ganging up on me with those Nightmares !" Owl retorted back.

"Sure sure whatever excuses to make you feel justified." Ghirahim continue moxking Owl. "Well if you excuse me I have to go to the City of Souls."

Before Ghirahim can make any move, a singing voice can be heard, the song is beautiful and easy on the ears, however as Ghirahim is evil the song is a pain in his ears.

"What the !? What is this awful voice !? Aaaaahhhhh !" Ghirahim seems to experiencing immense pain from the singing.

Key Cavern

The singing voice echoed throughout the entire Cavern as the heroes who is in different parts of the cave can hear the song.

"This singing voice, can it be Marin ? I have to go to where this is !" (LTP)Link run to find the source of the music.

"What is this singing voice ?" Asked R.O.B scanning around the nearby location. "There don't seem to be any amplifier or anyone singing nearby."

"This song, I can sense magic within it, finding out where the song came from could be where we must go, it's the feeling I got." Said Ganondorf.

"Then we should try, it's better than wandering aimlessly, if this song is magic, then it's logical the others will be drawn to find where this music is coming from." R.O.B also agreed to look for the source of the music as the duo now know where to go.

"A song ? Where is the singing came from ?" Asked Erven.

"I don't know, but it sure is beautiful, and also I can sense magic from this song." Said (LTP)Zelda.

"A magic music, like Dreambeats, but this song, I can tell it's benevolent, I believe we need to go to where it's coming from." Suggested Dreambert.

"Link and the others maybe heading to where the singing coming from too, we should do check it out as well." Rab agreed with Dreambert as they all headed to where the source of the singing voice.

Key Cavern - Innermost Chamber

As Ghirahim suffered from pain, Marin reveal herself to him as she still singing.

"Make it stop ! Make it stop !" Ghirahim thrashing about on the floor.

"Marin !" Exclaimed (LTP)Link as he reached the chamber first.

Marin turned around and stopped singing, Ghirahim no longer feel any pain, he stand up and tried to retaliate against Marin, he summon a sword to his hand and fly at the red haired girl.

(LTP)Link grabbed his bow and shot an arrow at the demon lord, Ghirahim forced to use his sword to block the attack from (LTP)Link.

"Marin it's dangerous here ! You need to leave !" Exclaimed (LTP)Link.

"Don't worry Link, I know what I'm doing." Marin summon the Sea Lily Bell, one of the 8 instruments of the Wind Fish. "I already receive training before you came here, hold on okay Mr. Owl." Marin swing the bell and shot a projectile shaped like a musical note at the cage containing Owl, the impact destroyed the cage, releasing the Owl.

"Thank you child, the Wind Fish was right to entrust you with this mission." Owl is free and thanked Marin for releasing him.

"You're outnumbered Ghirahim, it's a matter of time until my friends get here." And true to (LTP)Link's word the heroes arrived at the innermost chamber.

"Is this where the singing came from ?" Asked Erven.

"You ? Aren't you from the village ?" (LTP)Zelda pointed at Marin. "How did you get here ?"

"I'll explain later, right now we must get Ghirahim out of this place." Replied Marin.

"Lord Ghirahim, I'm here !" Shadow Link emerge from the shadows, I heard a singing voice from here.

"Who's that ? And why's he look a lot like you ?" Asked Ganondorf.

"He called himself Shadow Link." Answered (LTP)Link.

"Shadow Link ? Weren't they a magical constructs created by the Dark Mirror ? Why is he looked different, he looks like he's having sentience ?" Ganondorf curious with Shadow Link unique existence.

"He said Demise used his power to create him, to improve him, that's how he's different from the Shadow Links after the twilight era." Answered (LTP)Link.

"Lord Demise gave me this life, I'm far above those mindless clones, the ones formed from your hatred if I recall." Shadow Link begin provoking Ganondorf. "I know, when the hero of twilight defeated you, your hatred lives on, manifesting as the Dark Mirror that spawns the Shadow Links, even with your death Hyrule isn't safe from you is it ? Now what caused this change of heart ?"

"It's true that I've caused this, after my death it wasn't until the death of my alternate self in the Hero of Wind time, his soul merged with mine, and that's how I remember why I seek power in the first place." Explained Ganondorf.

"I see, and do you truly believe betraying Lord Demise is worth it ?" Asked Shadow Link curious.

"Yes, because I also remember that it doesn't matter how I was raised, Demise curse will make sure becoming an evil overlord is destined for me, for once I finally have freedom." Replied Ganondorf.

"Fool ! There's no greater joy other than serving Lord Demise, or better yet enforcing his will as his reincarnation, I wanted to give you a chance to return to us, but if you insist of opposing us to the very end, I will declare you an enemy !" Ghirahim pointed his sword at Ganondorf.

"I accept Ghirahim, but can you really take all of us with just the two of you ?" Ganondorf smirked at the stacked odds.

"Grrrhh." Ghirahim growled as he looked around for the souls of the professors.

"Looking for this Ghirahim ? I took your bargaining chip while you're talking." Owl is seen carrying the souls with his talon.

"Ghirahim ! I've been told there are children wander around in this cave, where are they !?" Exclaimed (LTP)Link.

Ghirahim a face flashed a sinister smile. "Children ? Oh you mean those quadruplets ? Don't worry I've brought them to the orphanage, rest assured they will be taken good care of, hahahahaha ! Shadow Link were done here, enjoy your short live victory, we will meet again." Ghirahim and Shadow Link teleported away from the cave.

"It seems the dark power enveloping this place is gone, I think you can teleport out now." Said Owl.

"Okay, but first you owe us an explanation, where were you this whole time ? And Marin doesn't have any combat experience, so why did you chose her to fight for you ?" Asked (LTP)Link.

"Calm down Link, I will answer your questions, here's where it all started, I was flying around the sky of Koholint as usual, however one day I sense a disturbance, Link, the Wind Fish is under attack, he is imprisoned in another dimension, with the Wind Fish weakened, those villains entered this world and hid the professors souls in here, because no one would ever thought of looking in the dream world." Explained Owl.

"What! The Wind Fish is attacked ! How !?" (LTP)Link horrified at the attack on the Wind Fish.

"The Nightmares, they're back, they launched an attack on the Wind Fish, accompanied by their minions, and monsters unfamiliar to me, they head to the Wind Fish Egg and scattered the instruments, and where they hid it, I don't know, and the Wind Fish got attacked, Demise and his army along with the Nightmares invaded Wind Fish domain and attacked him.

"And that's where I came in." Said Marin. "The Wind Fish spoke to me in a dream, he entrusted me with a mission, he said there are evil forces operating in the universe, if I were to meet those who oppose those evil i should cooperate with them, and when I wake up the Sea Lily Bell is next to my bed, and I was trained in how to use it by Mr. Owl here." Explained Marin.

"Does your father know about this ?" Asked (LTP)Link.

"He does, and he didn't oppose to this, he know the Wind Fish will ensure my protection, although he is show his worried from time to time." Stated Marin.

"What about the rest of the instruments ?" Asked (LTP)Link.

"Unfortunately when the enemies attacked this island they first head to the Wind Fish Egg and scattered all the instruments, only the Sea Lily Bell is what we managed to secure." Explained Owl.

"When the professors souls are sent here, do you know about it ?" Asked R.O.B.

"I do, when the enemy attacked this island believing the Wind Fish is too weak to fight back, they hid the souls in here, what they didn't realize the Wind Fish may lose the fight, but he still have enough energy to to impede the enemy, the Wind Fish told me of your betrayal against the Neo Subspace Army, seeing this they decided the souls has outlived it's usefulness and plan to dispose of the souls to be fed to the Soul Devourer, a monster who live in the Underworld, it's only thanks to the Wind Fish he made the souls untouchable to the enemies.

"I...see, I have to thank the Wind Fish for this." R.O.B is grateful for the Wind Fish help.

"Even though the Wind Fish is imprisoned he still have enough power to help subtlely, it's thanks to his power I got teleported here, and also when I see the Zeekeeper at the beach, I informed Mr. Owl with telepathy, not me, but since the Owl can read minds, I just focused my thoughts on him and informed him what happened outside." Explained Marin.

"And with that I contacted Zeekeeper with telepathy, luckily the dark power didn't block telepathy just teleportation." Added Owl.

("And as a result we're here.") Cresselia finished the sentence.

"Okay, so where is the Wind Fish imprisoned ?" Asked (LTP)Link.

"The Wind Fish is imprisoned in..I'm sorry I don't know, the place, it's unexplainable with words, all I can say it's a surreal, bizzare place, I'm sorry I can't help with more." Owl is feeling dejected. "There's also a problem, a spell placed in this dream, creating a barrier that preventing us from going to the physical plane through here, we can leave Koholint Island, but escaping from other places means we don't know where well end up, since we can't leave from Koholint Island we can't find out where the Wind Fish is currently held."

"It's alright, we will figure this out, so Marin are you coming with us ?" Asked (LTP)Link.

"Well I'm staying here, I don't think there's anyone else who can defend this island." Answered Marin.

"Here, if you chose to stay here use this to contact us." (LTP)Zelda gave Marin a golden plate. "I'll show you how to use it."

"The Nightmares, are those the enemies you defeated when you came here ?" Ganondorf asked (LTP)Link.

"Yes, although I don't know how they're back, I swear I already destroy them." Answered (LTP)Link.

"There are two reasons, either R.O.B's plan to reunite us accidentally reviving those creatures, or the enemies revive them to fill their ranks." Said Ganondorf.

"Hopefully it's the latter." R.O.B replied with guilt.

"Here you go, I believe this is what you've been looking for." Owl hand over the souls of the professors to R.O.B.

"With this, my creators...they can come back." R.O.B holding the professors souls tightly.

"I got a lot of questions to ask, but I doubt I will get an answer soon, for now we have to deliver the bad news to Papahl and Mamasha, and we also have to bring the bad news to Mamu's attendants.

"Okay I'll come with you, I need to go back to Mabe Village anyway." Said Marin.

"Allow me," Ganondorf used his magic to teleport everyone out of the cave and returned to Mabe Village.

Mabe Village

After coming back (LTP)Link break the news about the quadruplets to Papahl and Mamasha, both are grieving for their loss, but they didn't blame (LTP)Link, they just want their sons back, after dropping Marin and Owl back to the village (LTP)Link tell everyone they should head to Maze Signpost to Mamu's house.

This time (LTP)Zelda insist on teleporting the heroes as they head to the Maze Signpost, since (LTP)Zelda unfamiliar with Koholint Island Geography (LTP)Link just told her to head to Ukuku Prairie and head south again from there. (LTP)Zelda do what (LTP)Link said and teleport to Ukuku Prairie, and made their way to the Signpost Maze.

Signpost Maze - Underground

"Hello is anyone here ? I'm very sorry but I have some bad news." As (LTP)Link descend from the stairs, he prepare for the worst, but to his surprise he saw Mamu inside.

"Mamu ! You're alive !" (LTP)Link exclaimed with joy seeing him alive.

"Link ! I'm so glad I'm alive as well, turns out that dark portal only send me back home, lucky me !" Explained Mamu.

"I was so worried, but I'm glad nothing bad is happening to you, unfortunately I can't stay too long, so I'll see you later okay." Said (LTP)Link as he's ready to leave.

"Haha, okay I understand, being a hero is a tough work after all, I will root for you to beat those bad guys." Mamu cheering for (LTP)Link.

"Thank you." (LTP)Link climb the stairs as he left Mamu's house.

Signpost Maze

As (LTP)Link return to the surface the others ended up surprised seeing him coming back with a smile.

"Link you're smiling ? Does this mean things are okay ?" Asked (LTP)Zelda.

"Yes, turns out Shadow Link only send Mamu back to his home, he's down there safe and sound." Answered (LTP)Link.

"Guess that's one problem solved, guess mission's over then ?" Asked Dreambert.

"Yeah and now I think it's time to go back to your headquarters, I'm joining you in your mission to defeat Neo Subspace Army after all." (LTP)Link officially joined the heroes.

"Good to have you with us." The heroes showed their acceptance in having (LTP)Link join the heroes.

"Okay so we're outta here then !" From the sky the Zeekeeper fly towards the Maze Signpost. "Everyone hop on, we're going back to reality !" The heroes climbed Zeekeeper's back and they all left Koholint Island.

Maze Signpost - Underground

Mamu is seen peeking the surface from his home, after the heroes left he went back to his home and have a black plate on him, he opened a communication channel, and on the other side of the screen there's Ghirahim's face.

"I did what you asked for Ghirahim, after Facade altering the cave interior and knocking Link unconscious from the violent shifting, I swap his ocarina with a regular ocarina, he can't use the Frog Song of Souls to revive the Warriors of Fallen Stars." Mamu revealed that he's not on the heroes side at all.

"I see, excellent work Mamu, or should I say Wart, I had no idea why would you lie about your name here but it has prove convenient, so I won't press the issue." Said Ghirahim.

"Mario is an obstacle to my goal of ruling the dream realm, and his allies are enemies of mine." Explained Wart.

"Rest assured you will achieve your goal joining Neo Subspace Army, Subcon territories will expand with our backing." Said Ghirahim.

"Oh, I believe that, seeing what kind of allies I get I know my dream will come true, anyway I'm going to hid this ocarina in my Castle, I'll make sure those pesky heroes will never find this."

"We're counting on you on that." Ghirahim ending communication as Wart used the black plate to return to his real home Subcon.

Dark World

"Wart has succeded." Ghirahim is seen talking to Demise. "The Nightmares also did their part, the plan to connecting the dream realm with the physical plane is in place."

"And what about the boy, the one I bestow my blessing ?" Asked Demise.

"Shadow Link may have failed in defeating Link, but it's too early to tell, it seems that Link have to resort to underhanded tactics to survive his encounter with Shadow Link." Explained Ghirahim. "That's what he told me anyway."

"Shadow Link is powerful, because of me, yet he's still incomplete, luckily it's just a matter of time before all those Links will join those group of heroes." Said Demise.

"Master are you sure about this ? Do we really need a champion ?" Asked Ghirahim seemingly hesitant about this plan.

"Hylia has her champion, so it's natural I should have one too, one to obey my will and vanquish my enemies for me." Continued Demise.

"Yes, of course my Lord." Ghirahim bowed before Demise.

"All we need now is for the Link's from each timeline to be gathered in one spot, and with that Project Dark Link can begin."

Finally done, another long chapter that's too hard for me to write.

Panther Lance and the Bull Blade are exclusive weapons of Abel and Cain in FE Heroes, I also give them power over wind and fire respectively, mostly because wind tome is green and fire tome is red, I'm planning to give all FE characters elemental powers, it's not silly because in FE Warriors they have elemental powers.

Shadow Link appearance is based on the Four Swords Adventures manga.

Soul Devourer is the monster at Kid Icarus, he appears in a chapter where we got to play as Dark Pit, the monster doesn't have a name, so I just call it Soul Devourer.

In the remake Grandma Ulrira is named Grandma Yahoo some how, I'm using the Grandma Ulrira name.

Marin appearance as a fighter is based on her inclusion at Hyrule Warriors game, seriously who would've thought she got in while there are more obvious choices, but I'm glad she's in anyway, the best part of Hyrule Warriors is to show what the others are capable of instead of having Link did everything.

In this fic I made Wart and Mamu the same character.

Since Link's Awakening and Oracle games are direct sequels to Link to the Past, the Link is the same from those games. (LTP)Link will have abilities and items from all of those games.

Yeah so you won't see Wind Waker Ganondorf here, unlike the Link's and Zelda's who are different people entirely, Ganondorf is the same person, so after his twilight and wind waker self defeated their souls merge, so Ganondorf have his memories during the adult and child timeline.

Also i believe Facade have great potential as a dangerous enemy he's like one of those the kind of monster who have complete control of a location, like a ghost inhabiting an abandoned mansion and can control everything inside the building.
