Northern Kremisphere
Arriving at Northern Kremisphere to retrieve a Chaos Emerald, there's Donkey, Diddy, Dixie, Tails, Rab, and Yoshi who decided to accept the mission.
"Northern Kremisphere, it's been too long." DK is feeling nostalgic. "Although were pretty much captured by K. Rool so we didn't get to see much."
"I know right, we compete on who can find the Lost World first." Added Diddy. "Only for that jerk to capture us."
"You really had no idea how worried i was when you disnt reply for a while you know, I have to come here myself, realizing you two get caught and it's up to me to save you two." Dixie snarked and crossed her arms.
"Yeah, thanks for that Dixie, if it weren't for you and Kiddy, we may still be under K. Rool's trap." Diddy apologetically scratches his head.
"It's sure is a beautiful location, so where are we suppose to start lookin ?" Asked Rab.
"That's odd, it should be nearby ? It was around here yesterday, did the Chaos Emerald already disappear again ?" Tails looked at his machine only not to find any Chaos Emerald signals.
"Do you think our enemies get to them first ?" Speculate Diddy.
"That's impossible...oh wait they have Eggman on their side, but i doubt he would want to cooperate unless they forced him, hmm...but do they have a computer or similar device that automatically recorded everything in universe like we do in the mansion ? If so I guess it would be possible if they beat us to it." Replied Tails.
"So what now ? We just got here, we can't immediately say mission failed and leave." Protested DK
"I think it's too early to give up, we should look around first." Suggested Dixie. "The enemy beating us to it is just one possibility."
"I agree with ya lassie, we cannae just give up, if the enemy get it first, we just need to get it back." Stated Rab.
"But if the enemy get to it first, its possible the emerald may not be here anymore and it might be a waste of time." Replied Tails.
"Tails, what are Chaos Emeralds being used for usually ?" Asked DK.
"Well it's a device of great power, it's able to grant great powers to those who wield it, it's also able to function as power source for machines." Explained Tails.
"Power source huh ? Look this is a hunch, but mind if I take us somewhere first ?" Asked Dixie as she may had an idea where to use the emerald.
"Got someplace in mind lass ?" Asked Rab.
"Yeah, and I'll teleport us there." Dixie pull out her golden plate and teleported everyone.
Mekanos Island
The heroes reappeared in an island located in the middle of Northern Kremisphere, at first glance they saw a building resembling a factory, a destroyed factory to be exact as the building reduced to ruin and rubbles.
"Mekanos Island ? Okay I guess I can see why you brought us here." Commented Diddy.
"Doesn't seem like the factory is operating, considering this buidling is destroyed I suppose that's makes sense, guess K. Rool not using this place then." Commented Dixie.
"I suppose restarting the factory would be too obvious." Stated DK.
"Well now what ?" Asked Rab. "Are we not going inside the factory ?"
"Well we do have a friend who lives here, maybe he can tell us if there's something unusual happened." Suggested Dixie.
"Oh yeah, we should visit Bazooka, maybe he knows something, hopefully he's home." Agreeing with Dixie's suggestion DK and the others decide to go to Bazooka's house.
Bazooka's Barracks
The heroes continue walking until they see a wooden cabin, Dixie then knocked on the cabin's door.
"Who is it ?" Says a voice from inside.
"Great, it seems he's home." Dixie said to the others as she turned around again to answer the voice. "It's me Dixie Kong, Bazooka may we come in ?"
"Dixie Kong ? Please come in." And so Dixie opened the door and the heroes went inside.
Inside the cabin they saw an anthropomorphic bear wearing military uniform currently watching the TV.
"Dixie welcome, this is an unexpected surprise, did you come to visit ?" Greeted Bazooka.
"Yeah, it has been a while since I've been to Northern Kremisphere, so I was wondering about how are things here ? The Kremlings aren't doing anything weird here right ?" Asked Dixie.
"Not that I know of, the factory still remains the same, destroyed and no one's going to rebuild it." Answered Bazooka. "Although there is something else."
"Something else ?" The heroes got curious.
"Yeah, it was at the direction to Kaos Kore, a bright light appear there in the muddle of the night, and not long after the Kremling ship the Flying Krock appear out of nowhere and headed there, maybe they're going towards the light ?"
"I see, thanks for your help then." Dixie thanked Bazooka for his answer.
"No problem, but why are you asking that ? Does the Kremlings up to no good again ?" Asked Bazooka.
"Well that's..." As Dixie struggle to answer DK's golden plate is beeping.
"Yes ?" DK picked up his golden plate and answered the call. "Oh Mewtwo what's up ?"
"Uh huh...okay I hear you loud and clear, we head there immediately." DK then cut off communication. "You guys ! Mewtwo just called, we know where to go now !"
"Really !? That's great ! Well we'd best get going now, it's nice to see you again Bazooka ?" Dixie waved good bye as the heroes left the barrack.
"What was that about ? And was that a human and a Yoshi among them ?" Bazooka is left dumbfounded by what just transpired.
Mekanos
"So what did Mewtwo say ?" Asked Rab.
"Mewtwo receive info from Belcha, he said K. Rool found the chaos emerald, and he's using it to power a new invention of his in his castle." Explain DK.
"Which castle ? Is it Kastle Kaos ? The one he have here ?" Asked Dixie.
"It can't be the one on Crocodile Isle, I mean what for ? Our home is invaded by the Snowmad Tribe already, there's no need for him to destroy our home, if it's to use his Blast O Matic he would pick a fight with Frederik." Answered Diddy.
"Well it said that K. Rool use it for the castle here." Answered DK. "Although that's it, Mewtwo said Belcha didn't say anything more than that, I guess he didn't know what K. Rool is going to use it for."
"Then we need to head to this castle, you've been there before right ? We should just teleport there using the golden plate." Suggested Tails.
"Right, Kastle Kaos, here we come." Dixie pull out her golden plate and teleported to Kastle Kaos.
What they didn't know Bazooka was watching from the window. "What kind of things does those monkeys involved in this time ?"
Kastle Kaos
The heroes arrives at an ominous looking castle, behind the castle there's a large stone wall to obscure the castle view from outside.
"This is it, Kastle Kaos, this is King K. Rool base of operation in Northern Kremisphere, I came here with Kiddy to rescue both Donkey and Diddy before." Explain Dixie. "That time he's using an alter ego called Baron K. Roolstein.
"I really don't see the point of K. Rool using alter egos, it doesn't really matter as we know what he's capable of anyway." Snarked Diddy.
"We shouldn't waste any time, if K. Rool did get the emerald before we do, we should just teleport directly to the place where I fight KAOS." Dixie tried to teleport using the golden plate, however it doesn't seem to work. "Strange, it won't work, is something wrong with this thing ?"
DK pull out his golden plate and teleport somewhere else, and soon he return back. "I can teleport somewhere else, let me try." DK tried to teleport inside the castle, but nothing happened.
"Doesn't work for you too huh ? Then there's no choice, we have to storm the castle." Suggested Diddy.
"This place is got to be guarded with Kremlings, get ready everyone." The heroes prepare themself for a fight, and once everyone is ready DK then charged in and break the door with the others follow suit.
And as DK predicted the castle is full of Kremlings, but as the heroes steel their resolve and knowing this might happen, they resolved to charging the place anyway. DK started by shoulder tackling incoming Kremlings coming their way.
"Dixie you know where to go right ?" Asked Diddy.
"K. Rool's got to be in the same place where we fight KAOS, I still remember the way, follow me !" Dixie used her hair to fly to guide the heroes.
"Stop them ! We can't let them reach the king !" Yelled one of the Kremlings.
Many Kremlings tried to gang up on DK only for icicles to manifest above, fell down and freeze the Kremlings. Rab is using Kacrackle spell on the Kremlings.
"Thanks Rab !" DK shoulder tackle the frozen Kremlings, shattering the ice and launched the Kremlings away from the impact.
Rab ride on Yoshi as the dinosaur carry him to help him catch up to the Kongs.
Diddy and Tails also used their jet barrel and tail to fly respectively.
"Call the flying units ! Intercept the flying enemy ones !" Yelled one of the Kremlings.
"Gah !" Rab blasted the Kremling with the Kazam spell as the Kremling got blasted by a black lightning.
Soon a large numbers of Kopters and Kloaks arrived to intercept the heroes, Dixie and Diddy pull out their popgun and begin shooting, Diddy firing his peanut projectile and Dixie firing her bubblegum projectile, several of the enemies are either knocked down or stuck in a wall and ceiling.
Despite that, more flying enemies incoming such as Zings, Dixie and Diddy are about to be overwhelmed, but an energy projectile blasted the bee monster, Tails is using an arm cannon like device.
DK, Yoshi, and Rab are preoccupied by the ground enemies. DK punching Kremlings left and right, Rab continue casting spells, and Yoshi swallow the Kremlings, encasing them in egg shells and throw them at the enemies like bowling ball.
"There don't seem to be any end of them !" Exclaimed Diddy who is still shooting the enemies.
"We could use our instruments, but we may ended up destroying the entire castle !" Replied DK, still punching the enemies as well.
"Well then laddies, I thought the castle won't be this difficult to pass through, but if this is the case then..." Rab wanting to end the fighting begin casting Kasnooze, his magic then cause the enemies to fall asleep.
The Kloaks, Kopters, and Zings have also dropped down to the floor, falling asleep thanks to Rab's magic.
"Wow you can do this from the start ?" Asked DK.
"Sorry lad, I thought things won't be this troublesome, we should hurry before they wake up."
"Right, follow me everyone." With all the enemies fall asleep the heroes continue to advance the castle with no interruption.
KAOS Kastle - Laboratory
Thanks to Dixie's guidance, the heroes were able to enter the castle lab quickly.
"Okay, beyond this door is the lab where Kiddy and I fought KAOS, lucky for us the interior of this castle doesn't change, that's why I'm able to guide us quickly here, get ready for a fight you guys, if King K. Rool is here, then a fight is inevitable."
"I just put him to sleep with my magic, simple as that." Suggested Rab who is still riding Yoshi.
After everyone preparing themselves for a fight, the heroes then barge in to the lab.
"Stop right there K. Rool !" Shouted DK as everyone stand behind him.
"Gah !" K. Rool is surprised by the King's sudden entrance he nearly dropped his coffee. "You ! How did you get here so fast !? Where are my minions !? They all really asking to be bitten by Klaptraps." K. Rool complaining about his minions failure to impede the heroes.
"Don't be too hard on them, I just put them to sleep with my magic, which is what I'm going to do to you." Rab is about o cast Kasnooze, however a fire is about to hit Rab and Yoshi, Donkey grabbed Yoshi's tail and managed to pull both of them to safety, and of course this interrupts Rab spellcasting.
An orange Kremling and dark gray Kremling holding a spiked club entered the room from another door.
"Good timing, Kerozene ! Kudgel ! Exterminate them !" K. Rool pointed at the heroes.
"It's just three of them and six of us, we can take them down !" Exclaimed Diddy confidently.
"Guess again !" A voice calling out the heroes, as they look around to see where the voice is coming from, a sand and water hits the heroes face, forcing them to shield their eyes with their arms.
"Who did that !?" Yelled Dixie, not liking the sand in her face and hair.
"What's wrong Dixie ? Don't like the sands in your hair ? I think it looks better on you." A female voice can be heard mocking Dixie.
"Hey, I know that voice anywhere, Kass ! It's you isn't it !" Dixie opened her eyes to see her nemesis Kass.
"If Kass is here then..." Dixie looked to the left to see Kip standing close to Kass.
"Your majesty, please let us help, I want to make sure Diddy and Dixie suffers !" Pleaded Kip.
"Of course you can, anyone who wants to give the Kong's a beating of lifetime is always welcome to join." K. Rool expressed happiness that the young Kremlings wanted to eliminate the Kong's as well.
"Okay, so now there's five of them, but I know we can still take them." Tails still feeling confident of their chances to win.
"Just five of us ? Think again !" Kass and Kip pull out a pokeball much to the heroes surprise.
"Is that a pokeball ? Even they owned a Pokemon !?" Exclaimed DK.
"That's right ! And with them on our side the pokemons are going to help us destroy you." Kass and Kip sent out their pokemons, two crocodilian like pokemons, one is on four legs, with brown scales with black stripes, and the other is a bipedal blue crocodile.
"Okay Sandile let's crush them !" Exclaimed Kip.
"Totodile let's destroy our enemies as well !" Kass also encourage her pokemon to fight as well.
"Now it's seven to six, you're the one who will be crushed now." Pointed Kudgel.
"Yeah ? So you outnumber us by one, we overcame impossible odds before, and we will prevail once again !" DK begin charging towards K. Rool, however Kip ordered Sandile to use Sand Tomb, DK is enveloped in a sand tornado, some of the sands latching on DK's hands and legs and trapped him, DK struggled to break free, but whenever he move, the sands hurt his body.
The sandstorm upper half subsided, and Kudgel is about to bash DK with his club, but Diddy and Tails able to intercept by firing his peanut projectile and arm cannon energy ball, blasting Kudgel away from DK.
Kerozene unleash his flame breath, hoping to roast DK alive, but Rab cast his Insulate magic on DK, while the spell doesn't comoletely protect DK from the fire attack, it does heavily reduce the damage received from fire based attacks, and DK only suffers minor burns as a result.
Dixie attempted to rescue DK only for her to get blasted by Water Gun from Kass's Totodile, Kass fly towards Dixie with her rocketbarrell and about to slash Dixie's face with her claw, only for Dixie to grab Kass's arms with her hair and throw her to the wall.
As Dixie's back turned around Totodile bit her tail, Dixie screamed as she ran around the lab trying to get Totodile off her.
"Dixie ? I'm coming !" Seeing Dixie in trouble Diddy fly to help her, however Kip using his jet barrel stand before him.
"Oh no you don't ! You're dealing with me ! Sandile use Sand Attack !" Kip is holding Sandile in his hand, and Sandile spewing sand from it's mouth, forcing Diddy to close his eyes as sands covered his face.
As Kip about to slash Diddy's face while he's wiping his face, Tails blast him with his arm cannon, as Kip fell down from the blast. "Ignoring me was your mistake."
Kudgel got up and waste no time in bashing DK with his club, DK got sent flying but the impact freed him from his sand prison, albeit painfully.
Kerozene once again uses his fire breath at Rab and Yoshi, Rab cast Insulatle on himself and Yoshi, saving them from serious burns.
What Rab and Yoshi doesn't realize is after the fire subsided Kerozene is revealed to be standing in front of Rab and Yoshi, he then punched the green dinosaur so hard, Yoshi is knocked down, and Rab also fell from Yoshi.
"Ouch, you really not going easy on a mere old man !?" Complained Rab.
"No, I don't care who I hurt, I relish on the suffering of my foes," Kerozene used his size changing ability to enlarge himself, and about to smash Rab and Yoshi as he put his hands together. "Now goodbye old man."
DK is shaking his head, and as he saw what Kerozene about to do, DK quickly dashed towards the giant Kremling, he jumped and shoulder tackle at Kerozene's stomach, thanks to his strength DK managed to push Kerozene as the giant Kremling fall to the ground, and unbeknownst to him King K. Rool is crushed under Kerozene's back, also Totodile is also crushed, freeing Dixie from his fangs as Dixie pull her tail from the Totodile.
Tails seeing Dixie is wet, he brought Diddy to her. "Dixie, I need a little help, Diddy's face is covered in sands." Explained Tails as Diddy is still closing his eyes.
"Fine, Diddy you can wipe your face in my shirt, while I'm still wet." With Dixie's permission Diddy wiped his face with her shirt, getting the sands off his face.
"Thanks Dixie, wiping sands off your face with just your hands is just impossible." Complained Diddy.
Rab and Yoshi got up and combine their attacks together as Rab cast Kazam at Kudgel, and Yoshi jumped and Ground Pound him, crushing him from the drop.
DK is pinning Kerozene to prevent him from getting up while Dixie interrogate K. Rool who is struggling to free himself from Kerozene although he did slowly made progress.
"Okay K. Rool you lost, now where is the chaos emerald ! We know you have it !" Dixie grabbing K. Rool's cape.
"The chaos emerald you say ? Okay I'll tell you, after you deal with him, come K. Lumsy !" K. Rool managed to grab his black plate and teleport his brother.
"You need me brother ?" Asked K. Lumsy, however he seems different than usual.
"K. Lumsy ? Thank goodness you're safe !" Diddy approached the large Kremling, however Diddy got punched by the large Kremling.
"Yuck, monkey don't come close to me !" K. Lumsy expressed disgust that Diddy is approaching him.
"Hahaha ! That's my brother ! Show those monkeys who's boss !" K. Rool expressing pride seeing his brothers behaviour.
"K. Rool what have you done to him !?" Dixie strangle K. Rool further. "There's no way K. Lumsy would hurt us !"
"You ! Get away from my brother !" K. Lumsy picked up Dixie and threw her away, but Dixie able to use her hair to fly before she hits a wall.
He then lifted Kerozene, K. Lumsy possess immense strength so this isn't a hard task for him. King K. Rool then crawl away and stand up, he threw his crown at DK, knocking him off Kerozene.
Now free from DK, Kerozene got up and thrust his fist downward and hit DK full force.
"Uugh..." DK rubbed his head in pain from Kerozene's punch.
"This doesn't look good, we need to go all out, our musical attack should do the trick, Dixie let's do it, musical attack." Said Diddy.
"Are you sure, one of us doing it is destructive enough, but two people using it at the same time ? That's very risky." Dixie concerned about the potential damage and destruction it would create.
"We don't have much choice, it's our only way to win." Replied Diddy.
"Okay, let's do it." Dixie agreed as the duo pull out their instruments.
"Hey K. Rool ! Say goodbye to your castle !" Diddy and Dixie about to play their instruments. "Rab ! Tails ! Yoshi, get down !"
Rab, Tails, and Yoshi get down to protect themselves, however before Diddy and Dixie can do anything a beam of light appeared above them and struck them down.
"Oww...what just happened ?" Diddy rubbing his head, caught off guard by the surprise attack.
"It worked ! My new and improved Blast O Matic worked !" K. Rool screamed in excitement.
"New and improved ?" Asked Dixie as she struggled to get up.
"Oh yes, my alliance with Neo Subspace Army has upgraded my Blast O Matic, now I can land a shot from anywhere in the universe !" Exclaimed K. Rool.
"And now, it's time to say your last word." K. Rool holding a device that looks like a small remote, as he's about to press a button on that remote, something flying towards the castle and crash through the window. K. Rool dropped the remote, shocked by this unexpected outcome.
A large bird that have a banana like body entered the lab, with several smaller, but similar birds, the large bird than stare at K. Rool with pure hostility. "K. Rool ! How dare you set foot on my domain again ! You will regret ever coming back here !"
"The Banana Bird Queen ! Where is that remote !?" K. Rool frantically looking for the Blast O Matic remote that he dropped earlier, but the Banana Bird Queen charging at K. Rool.
Kerozene about to use his fire breath again, but Rab blasted the large Kremling with Kazam spell.
The other Kremlings wanted to help K. Rool, but they are interrupted by the heroes and the Banana Birds.
K. Rool who is laying on the floor shielding himself from the queen relentless attack saw the remote not too far from where he is, K. Rool attempt to reach the remote, but then a tongue grabbed the remote and swallowed the device, turns out Yoshi also saw what K. Rool tried to do and devoured the remote, Yoshi lay an egg and hurled it towards K. Rool, hitting the king on his face.
Banana Bird Queen about to slash K. Rool with her talons, however K. Rool managed to grabbed her foot and pushed her away, causing the queen to fall breaking several of the lab equipments. K. Rool then rallied his crew to fall back.
"Everyone retreat !" K. Rool left using one of the lab doors and the others follow suit.
"Wow, that's a very good timing, thanks for the help your majesty." Dixie thanked the Banana Bird Queen.
"I'm glad I'm not too late, and its the least I can do after you saved my children and me, now hop along, let's talk at my home." The heroes hopped on the Banana Bird Queen's back as she fly to her home.
Northern Kremisphere - Above the Clouds
The heroes arrived at the clouds where the Banana Birds reside. The clouds here is solid so people can walk on them.
The queen roost on the clouds as the heroes get off of her.
"Once again, we thank you for helping us your majesty, but how do you know we were at that castle ?" Asked Dixie.
"I might've tipped her off." A Kremling appeared from behind a wall of cloud, a muscular green kremling holding a club like Kudgel.
"Another Kremling !" Exclaimed Rab as he's ready to blast this one with his magic.
"Calm down Mr. Rab, he's not an enemy, Klubba thank you for your help." DK thanked the Kremling for saving him and the others.
"No problem, if anything thanks to K. Rool's alliance with Neo Subspace Army, his ambition becoming knows no bounds." Sighed Klubba.
"How do you know the moment to save us ?" Asked Diddy. "The timing is too good."
"I was there when you attacked the castle, and so I quickly get my rocketbarrel and informed the queen about your arrival here." Continued Klubba.
"I was hesitant to believe him at first, so I sent one of my children to confirm, he met Bazooka and confirm what Klubba said." Answered the Queen.
"Say Klubba do you know what's going on with K. Lumsy ? Why did he fight us ?" Asked Diddy.
"Really ? He did ? I was afraid of that, the 'therapy' no doubt worked." Stated Klubba which piqued the Kongs curiosity.
"What therapy do you mean ?" Asked DK.
"Well it's not long after K. Rool attacking Beanbean Castle, K. Rool asked me to guard him at that moment." Klubba begin telling his story.
Flashback...
Flying Krock - K. Rool's Chamber
"Blasted ! The Beanstar is out of my grasp ! How am I suppose to obtain absolute power without it !?" K. Rool thrashing his own room due to failure to get the beanstar, after a while he calm down a bit. "Well at least I got this book, and if what they say about this book is true then there may be another wish granting object in here."
Klubba is peeking the inside of K. Rool's chamber as the door is slightly open.
"Klubba ? What are you doing ?" Klubba is shocked that he's get caught peeping, he turned around to see K. Lumsy. "Oh it's you K. Lumsy, its nothing, just another one of the king's bad mood."
"Well I need to step inside." K. Lumsy wanted to get inside.
"No wait, his mood is rather ugly right now, maybe later ?" Klubba stopping K. Lumsy from coming in.
"No, this cannot wait !" The door to K. Rool's chamber opened as K. Lumsy forced himself in to confront his brother.
"K. Rool I need to talk to you." Demanded K. Lumsy.
"What is it K. Lumsy ? Can't you see I'm not in the mood for visitors." Asked K. Rool.
"How did I even get here ? I was walking around the Kong Isle, and last thing I knew I'm here." K. Lumsy is confused as how he ended up on the Flying Krock.
K. Rool already prepare himself for this question as he answered his brother's question. "You came back to me because you realized your true calling, to destroy those monkeys once and for all."
"But I don't want to destroy them, the Kongs are my friends, I said this over and over again, I want us to get along with each other, not destroy one another." K. Lumsy answered defiantly at K. Rool.
K. Rool then once again expressed his disappointment. "Oh K. Lumsy, where did I go wrong with you ? You're a prince of Kremlings, and yet you insult your position with this...act of yours ! Well I anticipate this, and as much I'd rather not resorting to this I have to do what must be done, he will be here shortly."
"Are you meeting someone here ? When you're done can you send me back to Kong Isle ?" Asked K. Lumsy. "I don't know how I got here, and I want to go back."
"Of course, but first the one coming here is a doctor, and I would like for you to undergo a therapy before leaving." Said K. Rool.
"Why would I need a therapy ? I'm feeling just fine." Replied K. Lumsy.
"Well I did lock you up in that prison before, and not to mention you did get into fights with the others when they arrived at the Kong's Isle during Cranky's birthday, you got hurt yourself and have to fight yiur former comrades, I was just want to make sure my brother is physically and mentally well, I may have issues with those monkeys, but you are my brother and I care a great deal for you." K. Rool using sweet words to fool K. Lumsy.
"Really ? Gee thanks K. Rool, you know maybe one day you can see the Kongs are our friends and not enemies one day." Stated K. Lumsy, while K. Rool pretend to smile the idea of him being friends with the Kong's made him nausea on the inside.
"Yes...maybe I'll get there, for now return to your room." And with that K. Lumsy left K. Rool and return to his room. "Good thing brains isn't his strongest suit."
Flying Krock - Hallway
Not long after K. Lumsy left, Gharnef soon arrived at the Flying Krock wanting to see K. Rool.
"Is this where King K. Rool is ? I am Gharnef, King K. Rool wished to see me." Gharnef introduced himself to Klubba.
"Yes he's here, I'll open the door for you." Klubba opened the door letting Gharnef inside.
Flying Krock - K. Rool's Room
"I receive your message K. Rool, you said you need my expertise ?" Gharnef arrived at K. Rool's room. "Oh, wow this place a huge mess."
"Yes Gharnef, thank you for coming, its about my brother K. Lumsy, unlike the rest of us he's a disgrace to our species, he likes those monkeys for starters ! How did he grew up to be kindhearted is beyond me." Complained K. Rool.
"Ugh, those are the words that makes me sick the most, very well K. Rool I'll help you with this, show me the 'patient'." And so K. Rool and Gharnef left the room.
Flying Krock - Hallway
The door opened as K. Rool and Gharnef exited the door.
"Klubba come with me." Klubba obeyed as the three went towards K. Lumsy's room.
"Now guard the door while Gharnef begin his therapy on K. Lumsy, do not let anyone in no matter what the circumstances, we can't have any interruption." K. Rool gave out the order as Klubba ahd Bu to obey.
Flashback ended...
Northern Kremisphere - Above the Clouds
"And that's what happened, when the therapy is finished K. Lumsy become a completely different person, maybe I should've done something to stop the therapy." Klubba lament his inaction.
"Gharnef, that's Marth's enemy !" Exclaimed DK.
"So K. Lumsy did get brainwashed after all !" Replied Diddy.
"Klubba we don't fault you for that, Gharnef is a powerful sorcerer, if you disobey K. Rool's order you would be brainwashed yourself, if anything were glad to have an insider." Assured Dixie.
"Thank you, I may not be able to fight K. Rool at least openly without being branded as a traitor, but I can at least provide you with inside knowledge, I didn't completely defect like K. Lumsy, Snide, and Krunch did." Answered Klubba.
"What I wonder now is why is K. Lumsy is on the Flying Krock, wasn't he on our island ?" Asked DK.
"About that, as you know the Kremling Krew is forming alliance with the Tiki Tak Tribe and Snowmad tribe, the Tiki Tak Tribe waiting for K. Lumsy to be alone and hypnotize him, and we teleport him back to the ship using the spirowarp." Explained Klubba. "And then that's when phase two begin, K. Lumsy would lure the animal friends one by one to be hypnotized by the Tiki Tak Tribe, the same goes for Snide and Krunch."
"I see so that's how it all started, we have to save them...also Klubba do you know about the Blast o Matic ? K. Rool said it can fire from anywhere now ?" Asked Dixie.
"Yeah, people from another world are doing massive improvement to the blast o matic, and now it can shoot anywhere, even to other worlds." Answered Klubba.
"So that's how it happen, the enemy really is cooperating with each other, okay Klubba do you know where's our family ?" Asked Dixie.
"I do, but they're not under the Kremling Krew control right now, K. Rool sent them to many different worlds and have them serve different people." Explained Klubba. "I could tell you where they are, but that might expose my partnership with you."
"I got the solution for that laddie, you can say the old man use magic on you to force you to talk." Suggested Rab.
"Very well, I understand, so far nothing happened yet, but K. Rool plan to kill them all and have them become a part of Warriors of Fallen Stars, hopefully you managed to save your family, and as for me I've stayed here long enough, any longer K. Rool would suspect something, so I'll see you later." Klubba about to leave, but Diddy stopped him as he grabbed Klubba's arm.
"Wait, we should exchange info, we have a golden plate that we use to communicate to one another." Diddy showed Klubba his golden plate.
"I'm sure my black plate can do the same." Klubba showed the heroes his black plate, "We'll be in touch, anyway here's their location, I wish you find them." As Klubba gave the heroes the location of tye rest of the Kongs to the heroes, he wear his rocketbarrel and fly back to Kaos Kastle.
"That was quite the conversation, what kind of shenanigans do you get involved with this time ?" Asked the Banana Bird Queen.
"A lot your majesty, you know we could use your help with our mission." Commented Dixie.
"Of course, I do anything in my power to help, if K. Rool gonna start trouble again, he's gonna get what's coming to him." The Queen agreed to help the Kong's as Dixie give her the golden plate, "use this to communicate with us, let me show you how to use it."
"Well I guess we're done here ?" Questioned DK.
"Hold on ! We forgot something ! We forgot to ask Klubba about the Chaos Emerald !?" Shouted Dixie.
"You're right ! With him back to the castle he can't contact us anytime any more as he can under K. Rool watchful eyes !" Replied DK.
"There's nothing we can do about that, I think its time to head back." Suggested Tails as everyone agreed to it, but before Tails can use the his golden plate to return to the mansion, a Banana Bird flying fast to the clouds.
"Trouble ! Trouble !" Shouted the Banana Bird.
"Calm down my child, tell us what happen ?" Asked the Queen.
"Strange creatures sighted ! Several giant squids spotted at Lake Orangatamga ! There's also never before seen creatures as well !" Exclaimed the Banana Bird.
"Giant squid ? In Lake Orangatanga ?" Questioned Dixie as she pondered the statement.
"Won't it be bad for a sea creatures to be at a fresh water ?" Asked Diddy completely missing the point.
"The monsters are wreaking havoc on the lake, we have to do something !" Exclaimed the Banana Bird.
"Your majesty, we'll be the ones to deal with this." DK bowed before the Banana Bird Queen.
"You don't need my permission, please just deal with anything that threatens the Northern Kremisphere." The Queen allowed the Kong's to take action as Dixie used her golden plate to teleport everyone to Lake Orangatamga.
Lake Orangatanga
The heroes arrived at Lake Orangatanga, a large beautiful lake located in Northern Kremisphere, the land is fertile and plant life is abundant, it has wooden bridge to cross through and several mills, in the middle of the lake there's a small island and a cabin on the island.
But right now the lake is infested with monsters, on the island there's two bears fending off several monsters, one of the bear dressed like a detective and the other bear is wearing a red shirt.
" are monsters on the lake ! Based on that Banana Bird said these monsters aren't from around here ?" Asked Tails.
"No I've never seen these type of monsters before." Replied Dixie. "Kocos and Lurchins are the ones living on this lake."
"Look ! Isn't that Baffle and Bachelor fighting these monsters ?" DK pointed at the bears on the island.
"It is, we must help them !" Exclaimed Dixie.
"These monsters, I recognize them." Stated Rab.
"Really ? Then are they came from your world ?" Asked Diddy.
"I doubt it, Erdrea is long gone now, but no matter where they from, we need to get rid of them." Rab rally the other to fight which they agree.
"Let's see now, we have 3 King Squids and 5 Sail Serpents, shouldn't be too hard, anyway watch out for their breath attacks." Explained Rab.
The heroes nodded as they went to fight, Diddy shoot peanut projectile to one of the Sail Serpents, hitting it and sending it flying a short distance, enraged, the Sail Serpent slither towards Diddy, and unleash its paralysis breath, but DK stepped in and do a strong clap, creating a back draft that blows the breath attack back to the Sail Serpent, the Sail Serpent become paralyzed for being exposed by its breath attack. DK then punched the creature to the lake.
"Looks like we got their attention." Commented Dixie as several of the monster set their sights on the heroes.
"You young'uns stay back, this old man still got more tricks up his sleeve." Tab generate an orb of light in his hand and cast Pearly Gates at the monsters, he create an explosion that pretty much severely harms the monsters.
The brothers bear got distracted by Rab's technique, giving the King Squid an opportunity to fight as it unleashed its Poison Breath at the brothers bear, Bachelor suddenly jumps in to protect Baffle and get hit by the Poison Breath as he lie down.
"No ! Bachelor ! Why you go and do that !" Baffle scolded his brother for risking himself.
"Baffle, please go, at least one of us is still alive." Said Bachelor with a weak voice.
The King Squid move closer to Baffle, however it got blasted by Tails arm cannon as he flies above the island. "You two get inside the cabin, I'll handle this !"
"My brother is poisoned can you help him !?" Begged Baffle.
"Poisoned ? Not good, I don't bring any antidotes with me." With Tails being distracted, the King Squid got up and wrapped the fox with it's tentacle.
King Squid put Tails closer to its mouth, and about to use Poison Breath again, but Rab and Yoshi rescue Tails in the nick of time, as Rab blasted the monster with Kazam and Yoshi in it's winged form uses it's fiery breath at the monster.
The King Squid is forced to let go of Tails as it jumps to the lake.
"Mr. Rab can you help us ? This man is poisoned by that squid monster." Tails pointed at Bachelor who is writhing in pain.
"Poison eh ? Leave it to me lad." Rab get of off Yoshi and approach Bachelor, he cast Squelch and remove the poison from Bachelor.
"I'm...feeling better, its like the poison inside of me are gone !" Thanks to Rab's magic Bachelor is cured from the poison.
"I'm so glad you're fine, I was afraid we will lose you for good." Baffle breathed sigh of relief.
"C'mon bro, I don't plan on dying just yet, I still want to get married, and I need to be alive for that." Assured Bachelor, and then he saw a King Squid behind Rab. "Mister look out !"
But before the King Squid can attack, it got hit by another King Squid colliding with one another as the King Squids sent flying across the lake, and the the same time Dixie, Diddy, and Donkey arrive at the island.
"Nice aim Dixie." Complimented Diddy.
"They're not as strong as they look, I just grab one of their tentacles with my hair and just throw." Boasted Dixie.
"Dixie is that you ? Long time no see !" Greeted Baffle.
"Hey Baffle, Bachelor, what happened here ? Where are these monsters came from ?" Asked Dixie.
"We don't know, were just chilling inside the cabin, and suddenly these monsters shows up out of the blue." Answered Baffle. "I never seen these kinds of monsters before."
"I see, well that's actually..."
As the heroes still talking, the monsters got up again wanted to deliver payback to the heroes, a dark aura engulf the monsters as their eyes turns green.
"Those monsters ! They're back !" Pointed Bachelor as the heroes turned around to see the monsters gather together with eerie green eyes.
"Hey their eyes turns green ! Does that happens a lot with your monsters Mr. Rab ?" Asked Tails.
Rab didn't answer as he's in shock by what he sees, he recover immediately and order the heroes not to show mercy. "No more going soft ! We have to destroy them now !"
Rab cast Pearly Gates at the monsters, he then cast Caster Sugar on himself, strengthening his magic further, he then cast Kacrackle as he rained down icicles at the monsters.
"He's relentless." Commented Tails as he and the others sees how vicious Rab is with his attacks.
"I don't like what i see either." Said Diddy. "The way their eyes suddenly glows green, whatever this is it must be serious."
"I got an idea, everyone push those monsters to the lake !" The heroes gave the monsters relentless beatdowns as all of them fell to the lake.
To finish them off DK charged his fist with electricity, he put his hands on the water and electrocute the monsters in the water which results the monsters dead m the fatality of the electricity from DK's hands, and also several fishes rise up to the waters surface, looking like they're dead.
"Well that's takes care of them." Commented Diddy seeing the monsters are killed. "Unfortunately you seem to kill not just the monsters."
"Those fishes ? They have a clown like face ? Talk about a literal clownfish." Commented Tails looking at the fishes.
"Those are what Kocos look like, thisnlake is their habitat." Explained Dixie.
"What just happened ? Why are their eyes suddenly glowing green ?" Asked Tails.
"Sorry lad, but I'll explain later, are you two alright ?" Rab asked the brothers bear.
"Yeah we're fine, those monsters appearance is unexpected though." Said Bachelor.
"Thanks for saving us, honestly this has been a weird week for me." Said Baffle.
"Weird ?" Asked Dixie.
"Yeah, get this, I was asleep the other day and in the middle of the night there's a bright flash outside my cabin, I saw a yellow gem floating in the sky." Explained Baffle.
"A gem ? Could it be a chaos emerald ?" Questioned Tails. "What happened to the gem ?"
"Well believing I was only hallucinating I went back to bed, but the next morning, when I went for a walk the gem is still there, turns out its not a dream after all, as I went to pick it up, the Flying Krock out of nowhere suddenly appear above Kaos Kore, panciking I ended up dropping the gem and find a place to hide." Continued Baffle.
"That's got to be when K. Rool arrive." Stated Diddy.
"Exactly, the Flying Krock landed and K. Rool coming out from it." Continued Baffle, "Except he's not alone when he came out, he was accompanied by someone else, there's a creepy looking man wearing a dark green robe, seeing his complexion he looks more like a zombie rather than human, oh yeah, I overheard his name it's ugh...Ghar...something, I forgot the last few words."
"Gharnef !" Exclaimed DK.
"That's right it's Gharnef." Confirmed Baffle. "K. Rool picked up the gem and hand it over to Gharnef."
"I see, so that's why the golden plate and my detector doesn't pick up any signal, K. Rool gave the chaos emerald to Gharnef, and he must not be here anymore." Deduced Tails.
"Why would K. Rool give the chaos emerald to Gharnef ? Could it be as thanks for brainwashing K. Lumsy ? Didn't think of him to be the kind to show gratitude." Commented DK.
"K. Rool can't act like top dog anymore, he's surrounded with people who are at least equally threatening like he is, trying to double cross them at least openly is a dumb move." Stated Tails.
"Hold on what's with this conversation, its like there's more going on." Said Baffle.
"Sorry Baffle, I know you like to solve cases but I think you shouldn't get involved, this isn't a standard police case and K. Rool isn't the only one who you should worried about." Warned Dixie.
"I may retire from FBI but I still can't let criminals run free, whether he's royalty or not." Insisted Baffle.
"I appreciate your desire to do the right thing, but please I'm asking you for your own safety, just leave this to us." Insisted Dixie.
"Okay, I understand I won't pry any further." Baffle relent and heeded Dixie's words, however he slid his left hand behind his back and cross his fingers.
"So ? Now what ? We're done here too, and we know now what happened to the chaos emerald." Asked Diddy.
"But we don't know where these monsters came from." Stated DK. "You sure you don't see anything ?"
"Umm.." Bachelor raised his hand. "I forgot to mention something, I mean not sure if this has anything to do with it, but I saw a woman last night standing at the wooden bridge, from her shape I can tell she's a human."
"Really ? Are you sure !?" Exclaimed DK.
"Yeah, I mean humans don't come here too often so it's easy to spot." Continued Bachelor.
"And then..." Asked Dixie.
"Sorry, I don't know, I wipe my eyes for a bit and then she's gone, that's all I know." Answered Bachelor.
"I see, thank you for telling us, that's more than enough information to go through." Rab thanked Bachelor.
"You're welcome, I just wish I can help you more." Bachelor and Baffle return inside the cabin.
"It seems we're too late, K. Rool got the emerald before we do." Said Dixie looking disheartened.
"And he gave it to Gharnef, we don't know where he is either." Said Diddy.
"But what I'm wondering is how did K. Rool know the emerald is here ?" Questioned Tails.
"With the people he worked for I'm sure they can make a computer that had knowledge of the universe like we have or something." Answered DK. "Your enemy Dr. Eggman is among them right ?"
"Yeah, but I doubt Eggman wanted to share any info about the chaos emeralds, could he be willing to restrain himself to cooperate with his allies ? That's not the Eggman I know." Pondered Tails.
"We believe the same thing about K. Rool, it's surprising that he's willing to hand over the emerald to Gharnef, but they are a part of a huge organization now, double crossing each other isn't exactly a smart move, maybe Eggman knows that and deciding to share knowledge about the chaos emerald ?" Guessed DK.
"It sure is a possibility, but there are those monsters from Rab's world, were they summoned here or there's a portal nearby that leads to other world ?" Questioned Diddy.
"As I said centuries has passed in Erdrea, they either from Nadiria or revived by the demon lord." Answered Rab.
"Right, you said it was Mordegon right ?" Asked Tails.
"Aye lad, but what I haven't told you is we faced two demon lords, the other one is called Calasmos, and those monsters with green eyes, they were empowered by Calasmos." Explained Rab.
"Two demon lords !? That must be extremely difficult with both of them wreaking havoc throughout the land." Stated Dixie.
"Mordegon and Calasmos doesn't work together if anything they want the top position for themself, but now I wonder if they're really worked together this time ? That's just adding more problem for us." Sighed Rab.
"We can't lose hope, no matter how many the odds are stacked against us we will keep fighting until we prevail !" Encouraged DK.
"You're right, I can't let the young un's overshadow this old man, I still have a fight left in me yet." Boasted Rab.
"I also want to point out something, earlier Mewtwo said Belcha said that he wanted the chaos emerald for his weapon, but he ended up giving the emerald to Gharnef instead ? The 2 events don't match." Commented DK.
"Maybe its before K. Lumsy is brainwashed ? Klubba did said K. Rool not brainwash K. Lumsy." Said Dixie.
"What ? So its just a change of plans and Belcha doesn't know ?" Asked Tails.
"It does seem like that, but we don't know what actually happens, there's no point in racking our brains over it." Stated Tails.
"Then are we done here ?" Asked Diddy.
"Pretty much, I don't detect any portals around here." Tails using this golden plate to scan for portals.
"Those portals have to be placed in remote locations for starters, and Lake Orangatanga is more of a tourist destinations, meaning a place meant to be visited by people. Stated Dixie.
"It is a beutfiul view, but it seems we don't have time for a picnic, we should head back soon." Tails used the golden plate to return to the mansion.
Murky Mill
Across Bachelor's Cabin there's an abandoned mill, it's rundown, dimly lit and infested with monsters, however despite all that there's a lone woman inside the mill gazing outside through the glassless window.
"When i was told you'd be coming here I begged for a mission here in order to give you information, hope you understand the true reason why I summon those monsters here Rab." Stated the woman revealing herself to be the cause for the monsters appearing in Lake Orangatanga.
Just then a portal appear behind the woman, and someone or something coming out from it. The figure remeble and old man with purple skin and ht green eyes wearing red robe and a shell on his head, he's accompanied by two green skeletal soldiers with green armor, sword, and shield.
"Quite a disappointment Pang, you insisted on this mission and yet you failed." Mocked the old man. "And you're supposed to be the grand master of Angri-La."
"That's what you think Grey Gordon ? If anything the result isn't so bad, I'm merely here to test their strength after all, the goal isn't to win against them yet, well I'm heading back, its time for me to report my finding to Lord Calasmos." Pang then enter the portal behind her.
"Mmm..this is a beautiful lake, maybe i should take it over for Lord Calasmos later, come on you Calasmonauts we're leaving, but we will be back here one day." Grey Gordon entered the portal with the Calasmonauts.
Bachelor's Cabin
The brothers bear return back to the cabin, Bachelor may be glad the problem is over but Baffle is still thinking.
"You're making that face again bro, are you still thinking about what just happened ? Dixie said to stay out of it." Said Bachelor.
"I know but I just can't shake the feeling there's something more going on." Replied Baffle.
"They way they state it there is something more, but I think if you get involved you may bit more than you can chew." Said Bachelor.
"What should we do then ? Should we just let strange monsters ranscaked our home ? I know what Dixie said, but I just can't sit by and do nothing, and yes I will be careful about this, I just want to find out what's going on." Baffle seemed to have made up his mind.
"*sigh* this just like your FBI days isn't it ? Once you find a case you're always determined to solve it, okay fine, just come back safely okay." Bachelor voiced his worry.
"I will, well first I need to come back home, I'll be leaving the Kremisphere for a while after that." And so Baffle decided to return home tomorrow and wanted to figure out the strange occurrences happening this past week.
Finally done, sorry for being slow, I have writers block on how to write the story.
Northern Kremisphere is the main location in Donkey Kong 3 which stars Dixie Kong as the protagonist.
For the Brothers Bear I use the GBA remake sprite, because the original sprite they look old.
