Since the beginning of creation, the universe is teeming with life and many worlds have born as a result but these worlds are separated from one another with the inhabitants of each worlds living their everyday life blissfully unaware of the existence of worlds other than their own... Until now.

102. Tears of the Kingdom

Smash Mansion

Wanting to know how the Gerudo live in his era Link agreed to take Ganondorf to his era and visit Gerudo Desert, however Zelda also wanted to come along as there's something she wanted to do back in Hyrule as well which is investigating the gloom discovered underneath Hyrule Castle.

As Zelda approached Link and Ganondorf, Link notice something different about Zelda.

"Zelda ? Did you cut your hair ?" Link noticed that Zelda's hair is now short.

"Yes, so do you think this style look good on me ? I'm using a facility called salon." Zelda wanted to hear Link's answer.

"Umm...yeah I agree it looks good on you, but you know you're always pretty whether you have long or short hair." Answered Link.

"Link, you need to give a precise answer, telling someone look good no matter what is just won't motivate them to try something new." Zelda scolding Link for his wishy washy answer.

"Okay I get it, but look Zelda, to me you look good in both style okay, not because I'm being wishy washy." Replied Link.

"Fine, thanks for the compliment, I'm glad this style suit me too." Zelda smiled at Link.

"Ahem, if you two done with your flirting can we leave now ?" Ganondorf is raring to go.

"Alright, first stop Gerudo Desert." Link used his golden plate and teleport the trio to Hyrule."

Gerudo Desert - Kara Kara Bazaar Rooftop

Link, Zelda, and Ganondorf arrived at Kara Kara Bazaar, which is a resting stop in Gerudo Desert, this place is located near an oasis not far from Gerudo Town.

The heroes arrived at the rooftop of the Bazaar, luckily there's no one up here.

"Here we are Hyrule in the future, and over there is Gerudo Town." Link pointed to the direction of Gerudo Town. "And of course men aren't allowed to enter, I...have to disguise myself to enter."

"I have to say Link, you look very convincing disguising yourself as a woman." Zelda let out a teasing chuckle. "You wished to get in Ganondorf ? I'm sure with the right makeup tools and dress we can disguise you as well to get in."

"Please don't, I'm not that curious, and dresses and make up will look terrible on me, I mean look at this muscles, how are you gonna fool anyone with this." Ganondorf bragging his muscular built to the Hylians.

"*sigh* I wish my body were more like yours." Grumbled Link.

Ganondorf used his magic to view the inside of Gerudo Town from Kara Kara Bazaar, he create a 'screen' that shows the inside of the town, allowing Link and Zelda to see as well.

And true to Link's words, all the people they saw inside are all women and girls.

"There really are no men inside, not that it was any different in my era, at the very least they are doing well, I'm..glad that the Gerudo doesn't need to resort to banditry anymore for a living." Ganondorf smiled happily now knowing that his people no longer suffer despite still living under the harsh environment of the desert.

"Ganondorf, do you mind having this screen enter the palace, I wanted to see how Urbosa's doing, what kinds of plan the Neo Subspace Army wanted to make her do." Asked Zelda.

Ganondorf agreed and allowing the screen shows the palace. Now the heroes saw Urbosa talking to two people, they look like miniature old ladies with sickly green skin, Ganondorf is shocked to see the two old ladies here as he knows who those two women are, one of the old lady looked at the direction of the screen, showing that she knows she's being watched.

Ganondorf quickly dispel his magic as the screen is now gone.

"It looks like that granny just stared at us ?" Clearly Ganondorf isn't the only one who notice as Link ponder the same thing, thats when Ganondorf answered. "That's because she is, there's no doubt, it was Koume and Kotake, my surrogate mothers." Ganondorf revealed who those old ladies are.

"Surrogate mother ? Then that means..." Zelda about to guess.

"Yeah, I don't know who my real parents are, Koume and Kotake raised me, providing me with any lesson necessary in order to be a king." Answered Ganondorf. "Their teaching and Ganon's curse is what shaped me to become the person I am now." Ganondorf clenches his fist.

"I take it Koume and Kotake weren't the greatest mother ?" Asked Link.

"Considering they teach me that power is everything, mercy is weakness, being feared is good, do anything it takes to raise above, etc.."

Ganondorf remembered the lessons Koume and Kotake taught him, and he realized how their teaching ended up steerong him to a dark path. "I'm sorry to hear that, it must've been a very unpleasant childhood." Zelda seemed to be able to relate to Ganondorf.

"It doesn't matter whether I was raised right or in abusive environment, it's just a matter of time until I succumbed to Demise curse, this curse will make sure that being a power hungry conqueror is what I'm ever going to be." Link and Zelda can only watched in silence, not knowing what to say after hearing Ganondorf ultimate fate.

"Koume and Kotake aside I'm glad the Gerudo able to thrive with hinest means, I got what I came here for, we can leave this place if you want."

"So Zelda now that we're done here should we head to the caverns ?" Asked Link.

"We really should, who knows if the gloom spreading further or not in our absence." Replied Zelda.

"Have anyone came into contact with the gloom ?" Asked Link.

"Yes, according to Purah when the castle vanish some people decided to explore the caverns, and they encounter some dangerous substance, which they call the gloom."

"This happens when I was exploring Zora Domain the last time we were here right ?" Asked Link.

"Yes, I wanted to start talking about it right away but, we have a more pressing matter regarding Mipha, that's why I didn't say anything before." Explained Zelda.

"Do we have any other important matters now ? If not then shall we head to the cave right away ?" Asked Link.

"Hold on, I don't know what Koume and Kotake doing here, but the last time they were in charge of Gerudo Town things are not going well for the Gerudo, we should investigate why they're here first." Suggested Ganondorf.

"Alright, by the way which reminds me, why isn't Riju saying anything about this ? I guess our trip to the caverns have to be postponed yet again, let's go Link, I don't know what Urbosa will say, but we'll see if we can find out anything." to look into Gerudo Town first.

"Fine, I guess I have to change my clothes again, you two please turn around." Link remove his shirt as Ganondorf and Zelda turn around.

"Okay I'm done." Link already dressed in Gerudo clothing.

"You know Link, I don't have to turn around you know, considering we pretty much live together before my castle is rebuilt, I've seen everything already." Teased Zelda.

"Geez you still remember that, it was completely by accident." Said Link annoyed by what happened in the past.

"I know, but it's still a sight to behold to me." Continued Zelda letting out a small laugh.

"Ahem, you two just told me things I don't need to hear !" Complained Ganondorf.

"We were talking about that one time Link's pants fall off, what were you talking about ?" Asked Zelda. "His pants were tattered and I told him it needs to be fixed, but he insist theyre fine and it falls off."

Link on the other hand know what Ganondorf meant and start smirking. "Although if you want the spicy details I can give you the entire rundown."

"N-no thanks, we don't have time for that, anyway I won't be going inside, in fact..." Ganondorf cast his magic on Link and Zelda. "With this spell I can see through your eyes and hear through your ears."

"And as for me I would like to explore this desert, I'll go look for any portals placed by the enemy." Ganondorf used his magic to changed his clothing, switching from armor to encompassing robe and hood, after that he levitate off the ground. "I'd rather not have anyone see my face."

"Alright then, well we will be on our way." And with that Zelda used her magic to teelport herself and Link to the ground and make their way to Gerudo Town while Ganondorf flew to explore the desert.

Gerudo Town - Royal Palace

Link and Zelda entered the royal palace hoping to speak to Riju, however she's nowhere to be seen as Urbosa greeted them.

"Ah Little Bird, this is unexpected visit, and you cut your hair too." Urbosa greeted the two.

"Hello Urbosa..." Zelda looked behind to see the two elder gerudo behind. "I believe I never seen you two before."

"Right, I suppose you haven't been introduced, allow me to introduce you, these two are.."

"Please chief Urbosa, let us introduce ourselves, greetings my name is Koume, and this is my twin sister Kotake." Koume introduce herself and her sister to the heroes.

"I am Kotake, please to make your acquaintance, as for why you never saw us, well we were...retired far away, and it's been so long since we last set foot on Gerudo Town."

"So what brings you here little bird ?" Asked Urbosa.

"Well we...we're here because we wanted to know if anyone from Gerudo Town ever encounter something called the gloom or not ?" Asked Zelda.

"Gloom ? Yes I've heard of that, fortunately none are seen anywhere in the desert." Answered Urbosa.

"Well that's good to know, then we shall be on our way." Link and Zelda left the palace.

Gerudo Town

"Guess she's not at the palace." Whispered Zelda.

"Buliara is nowhere to be seen either." Replied Link.

"Where we should start looking ?" Asked Zelda.

"Let's start with the obvious, let's ask Ploka and Reeza, they're the guards of the palace." Suggested Link.

"The two women we passed by earlier ? Alright then, it's not like we have any other lead." Link and Zelda went to talk two the guards outside the palace.

"Excuse me, but we have a question, do you know where Riju is ?" Zelda asked one for the guards.

"Riju, well she's out right now, to the desert, this is one of the lessons given by Lady Urbosa, although we are getting more worried by the day." Reeza answered with a grim expression. "It seems her lessons are getting more and more dangerous by the day."

"I know what you mean, these past few days Lady Riju training have become more brutal, she almost become Molduga food the other day, lucky for her Patricia, Buliara and Bertri save her just in time."

"Urbosa gave her these lessons ? And what about those two elderly Gerudo ?" Asked Zelda.

"We don't know who they are, one day they suddenly show up and declare themselves former advisor to the past Gerudo chief, but i swear I've never seen any Gerudo that looks like them before." Stated Ploka.

"Koume and Kotake have been assisting in Lady Riju's education, but Lady Riju seemed not to enjoy Koume and Kotake lessons, she almost always try to skip out on her lessons whenever it's Koume and Kotake turn to teach." Continued Reeza.

"And when Lady Riju tried to tell Lady Urbosa about this, she doesn't believe Lady Riju and told her to keep up with her studies." Said Ploka.

"We honestly don't trust those two, but whenever we tried to say that Lady Urbosa shrugged off our concern." Said Reeza.

"Understood, then we're going to the desert to find her...so where exactly on the desert Riju is ?" Asked Zelda.

"Lady Urbosa tasked her to gather electric safflona in Southern Oasis, which is worrying because a lot of Molduga consider that place to be their territory." Answered Reeza.

"Thanks for that, we will head there now." Link and Zelda thanked Reeza and Ploka and the two head to the Southern Oasis.

"We need to hurry ! There's a chance this 'lesson' is actually a plot to eliminate Riju !" Exclaimed Link as he and Zelda run to the town entrance.

Gerudo Desert - Southern Oasis

Located south of Gerudo Town lies a small oasis, but rather than in the sands there's a stone mesa and that's the exact location of the oasis, right now Riju and Buliara is stuck in the mesa as many Moldugas surrounding the sands below.

"This isn't good, none of this Moldugas are going away anytime soon." Riju looked down seeing the Moldugas swimming on the sands below.

"My lady, I must apologize this is all my fault, you've warned me about Lady Urbosa and yet I ended up unable to disobey her." Buliara voiced her regret.

"Well all's not lost, I just need to contact Link and Zelda using this golden plate." Riju grabbed her golden plate as she's about to contact Link and Zelda for help, however at that moment one of the Molduga launched itself from the sands below and aiming itself at the two gerudo women, landing at the mesa.

"My Lady !" Buliara quickly grabbed Riju and run across the Mesa, however another Molduga also leaped from the sand on the other side of the Mesa and landed there as well, trapping the two together.

"Looks like this is it Buliara." Riju looks as if she's ready to accept her fate.

"My lady, know that I'm always proud to have served you, but this is my fault in the first place, you need to live, I'll distract these Moldugas away while you take Patricia and escape." Buliara tried to offer herself as a decoy.

"Buliara, I can't let you do that !" Protested Riju.

However Riju's pleas are fall on deaf ears as Buliara push Riju away, giving her distance from the Moldugas. "Hey ! You want me ! Come get me !"

With the Molduga's attention shifted to Buliara, they decided to attack her first.

"Buliara ! No !" Riju screamed Buliara's name as she's seemed ready to accept her fate, however before the Moldugas get close a hooded figure appeared in front of Buliara and punch the Moldugas away. The punch is so strong, it sends the Moldugas flying and falling from the mesa.

The figure walked towards the edge of the mesa and blast the Moldugas with a stream of lightning from his hands, killing the Moldugas.

Seeing this the rest of Moldugas decide to gang up in the hooded figure, they all jumped from the sands and went after the hooded figure, but the hooded figure conjure multiple swords and telekinetically launched it at the beast underbelly, piercing their stomach and cut it open, killing the Moldugas.

Riju and Buliara is in awe by what they see, Riju then approached the hooded figure. "Umm..I don't know who you are, but thank you for saving us."

The hooded figure didn't say anything and he just teleported away.

"Who do you think that is ?" Asked Buliara. "Looks too big to be a Vai, or a Hylian for that matter."

"Maybe it's a Goron underneath that hood ?" Questioned Riju.

"That doesn't explain his powers, but we can worry about that later, the Moldugas have been slain, and we have enough electric safflina, we should head back to town." Said Buliara.

"Yes, although why would Urbosa wanted so many electric safflinas ? Link and Zelda may know more about this than I do." Riju and Buliara made their way back to Gerudo Town.

Kara Kara Bazaar

Riju and Buliara arrived at Kara Kara Bazaar, needing to go through here to reach Gerudo Town, however as fate would have it Link and Zelda also at Kara Kara Bazaar.

"Riju, Buliara ?" Link and Zelda is surprised to see them here.

"Link ! Zelda ! I was just about to contact you !" Riju is happy to see Link and Zelda again.

"Hello Riju, when we heard Urbosa sent you to Southern Oasis we feared the worst, lots of Molduga live there." Said Link.

"I know we were attacked by them there, luckily someone came to save us." Said Riju.

"Someone saved you ?" Zelda sounded confused.

"We didn't manage to get a look on his face, he was wearing a hood, and the figure also seemed to possess large build, he most likely to be a voe, but I don't think I ever seen a voe that big before." Answered Buliara.

Link then whispered to Zelda. "It must be Ganondorf, he is wearing a hood to hide his face."

"Yeah, let's keep it to ourself for now." Replied Zelda.

"Link, Zelda, this is good timing, I need to speak with you two in private." Insisted Riju. "Let's head to the rooftop." Riju and Buliara then went to the ladder outside the Bazaar and climbed it with Link and Zelda soon follow.

Kara Kara Bazaar - Rooftop

All four then arrived at the rooftop.

"Link, Zelda, i-i don't know what's going on, I'm happy Urbosa back to us, but all this training is getting harsher and harsher by the day, I was badly hurt during my last training exercise, it just fully healed recently, and now she's sending me to a place where she knows Molduga made their territory, the last time you came here you said not to tell Urbosa about the golden plate you give me, I think you know more what's going on do you ?" Riju is on to Link and Zelda.

"Sorry Riju, we didn't mean to keep this a secret, but Urbosa...she's our enemy now." After hearing this from Zelda both Riju and Buliara are shocked.

"Lady Urbosa is our enemy ! What is the meaning of this !?" Yelled Buliara.

"Right now Urbosa is a member of our true enemy, the Neo Subspace Army." Answered Zelda.

"Riju, Gerudo have lifespan similar to Hylians, they can't live long like Sheikah or Zora, and even if you did save her from dying through time travel, how did she still alive now ? And look no different than she was 100 years ago ? The goddess blessing thing, it was nothjng but a lie."

"But then ! If what you said is true, who's that sitting on my throne !?" Riju is getting more perplexed by this revelation.

"I'm sorry, but your actions changes nothing here, what you did is creating a parallel timeline in which the champions survive." Continued Zelda. "This Urbosa is still dead, and she's under the control of a deity who govern over death."

"After we left, what have Urbosa's been doing ?" Asked Link. "And all those lessons she's imposing on you ? It's probably a plan to eliminate you."

"Well, Lady Urbosa is thinking of making a policy that makes it easier to trade between all regions, so far nothing suspicious." Answered Riju.

"It may look like that on the surface, but Urbosa is a puppet of the true enemy, they're called Neo Subspace Army." Said Link. "Whatever rule or projects she come up with will be according to their plan, and their plan will do no good to Hyrule."

"Children in Hateno Village have gone missing, Neo Subspace Army is behind that." Added Zelda. "Whatever Urbosa is doing it will only to serve the bidding of Neo Subspace Army."

Riju then fall on her knees. "If Urbosa still dead, then is what I did before was for nothing ?"

"No, it's not over yet, we can save our Urbosa, we need to break her free from the death God's power." Answered Zelda.

"H-how ?" Asked Riju.

"By resurrecting her, by resurrecting Urbosa we will be able to sever Urbosa's ties with the dark god." Answered Link.

"But it won't be easy, as a corpse bound by the power of necromancy, Urbosa have to obey her masters order, and she was ordered to avoid being resurrected at all cost." Stated Link. "So a fight would be inevitable."

"I see, bringing her back to life, then do you know how you're going to achieve that ?" Asked Riju.

"We have friends from other worlds who possess such power, the only problem is that Urbosa will do anything to prevent herself from being resurrected by Neo Subspace Army order, so we need to be as crafty and aggressive as possible.

"I see, then this is our only choice is it ? We need to depose Lady Urbosa." Riju seemed hesitant.

"Unfortunately, but not to worry Riju, we will serves as your allies, I suggest you coordinate with Sidon, Teba, and Yunobo, this is still an idea, but I believe we need to strike at four regions at the same time, Neo Subsoace Army have a black plate that function similar to our golden plate, Urbosa can request backup from another world or regions."

"Thank you for the warning, alright i made up my mind, Buliara take Patricia with you and return without me, tell everyone that I didn't make it, I got eaten by a Molduga." Coommanded Riju.

"What ! Lady Riju ! What are you saying !" Buliara is shocked by what Riju said with Link and Zelda can only stare with disbelief.

"I know what I said, but I belief this is the best course of action, if Urbosa thinks I'm dead then she will let her guard down, and Buliara I need you to gaather information and find allies one that will help me depose Lady Urbosa."

"Urbosa will be too much for just you to handle, this is our fight too, we will join you, reviving our fallen comrades is our mission as well." Zelda insist that Riju isn't alone in this.

"What will you do Riju ?" Asked Link.

"I will gone into hiding, maybe I'm going to hide on Gerudo Tower for the time being, this golden plate can teleport me there right ? Then that's where I'm heading."

"I see, that would be a safe place to hide." Said Link. "Make sure you make contact with Teba, Sidon, and Yunobo while you're at it."

"I will, so what will you two do now ?" Asked Riju.

"You see Link and I will be heading to Zora Domain, Sidon already know about Mipha, needless to say he didn't take it well when he find out." Answered Zelda.

"If I recall Zora Domain was under attack not too long ago right ?" Asked Buliara.

"Yes, but the attacks was orchestrated by the enemy, the goal is to have Mipha to look like a hero and installed as queen, their plan worked and now no one object to Mipha become queen." Added Link.

"We gave Sidon the golden plate to him, like Link said you two should be in contact with one another." Suggested Zelda.

"Our plan was to attack the four regions simultaneously so they can't call back up from another region, of course the details still need a lot of work." Link scratching his head.

"Buliara I expect you to be able to fulfill this mission." Ordered Riju.

"To be honest this mission have me feeling conflicted, but if Lady Urbosa have sinister intent on our town, then I will steel myself to do my part to oppose her."

"Then you will need these." Zelda gave Urbosa her golden plate. "If you need to use it, make sure Urbosa doesn't see you, nor do Koume and Kotake."

"Right, those two...I live on Gerudo Town all my life and yet I've never seen or heard a Gerudo named Koume and Kotake." Saaid Buliara.

"That's because they're from distant past, many dead people came back to the world of living to do Neo Subsoace Army dirty work." Expalined Link. "Unfortunately not all the dead are on our side."

"That's all we can say for now, but we will tell you more later." Said Zelda.

And with that Riju and Buliara say farewell to each other, Buliara then climbed down from the roof, and once she return to the ground she grabbed Patricia's rein and return to Gerudo Town alone.

Riju used the golden plate given to her and teleport to Gerudo Tower.

And as the two Gerudo leave, Ganondorf return to Link and Zelda by teleporting. "Quite the timing, you return after Riju and Buliara have left." Commented Link. "So how was Gerudo Desert."

"This place is still harsh as ever, however my people seemed to be able to adapt just fine although i remember we don't have these Moldugas in my era." Said Ganondorf. "Anyway while exploring, I marked several portals on the map."

"Don't worry about the Moldugas, their home is far away from the Town, they don't travel far from their territory." Assured Link.

"There's five of these, and at least two aren't too far from the Town." Link and Zelda see their golden plate has been updated.

"Since were done here, I'm going to change my clothes first." Link is changing his clothes as Zelda and Ganondorf look away.

"Okay I'm done." Link completely remove his gerudo disguise and return to his usual blue tunic.

"So, where to next ?" Asked Ganondorf."

"Zora Domain, we need to speak to Prince Sidon, although we won't go there directly, we're going to Mt. Ploymus so you can scout the area." Answered Zelda which Ganondorf agreed.

Zelda then teleport everyone to Mt. Ploymus.

Mt. Ploymus

After visiting Gerudo Desert, the trio arrived at Mt. Ploymus, where they will go to Zora Domain from there.

"I will scout the area for more portals in this region, you two go ahead and do whatever you need to do here." Ganondorf then teleported away.

Zelda and Link then made their way to Zora Domain.

Zora Domain

As Link and Zelda arrived, Bazz greeted the Hylian duo. "Link ! Princess Zelda ! This is an unexpected visit, but welcome to the domain."

"Hello Bazz, we're here to see Sidon is he here ?" Asked Link.

"Oh yeah, he's at the lake down below, not sure what he's doing though, Prince Sidon have been acting weird ever since Princess Mipha took the throne, of course there's news his fiancee is coming to visit so that maybe it ?"

"Fiancee !?" Link and Zelda Exclaimed in unison.

"Oh he hasn't told you ? Well it's best if you ask the man himself, I can't talk too long as I'm still on duty."

"Okay, thanks Bazz." Link thanked Bazz as he and Zelda proceed further in.

Link and Zelda looked down and they did see Sidon down there.

"It's really high jump from here." Said Link.

"Don't worry about me I can just float using my powers." Replied Zelda.

And so Link used his paraglider to descend downward and Zelda used her magic to float down below.

Both Link and Zelda landed on rocks below as they called out to Sidon.

"Link ? Zelda ? Thus is unexpected, what are you guys doing here ?" Sidon rushed towards the couple and happily greeted them.

"Just checking on things, how is the Domain ? Did Mipha enact some suspicious policies ?" Asked Link.

"I wonder that myself, she did agreeing on cooperation between all regions of Hyrule, though on the surface it doesn't sound sinister at all, getting evidence would be difficult." Answered Sidon.

"It's tough, Mipha is beloved by the Zoras, and her policies also sounded benevolent on the surface." Said Zelda.

"I know, but what should I do ? no one would believe me if I say Mipha is the enemy, the last thing I need is to be seen as the power hungry younger brother usurping his eldest sister throne."

"This one is difficult, at least with Urbosa Riju is given impossible training which the brought doubt to the other Gerudo why Urbosa would push Riju so hard." Said Link.

"So Sidon what are you doing down here ?" Asked Link.

"I have this note when I woke up this morning, it says 'below the construct where the children of the water live come here for the truth you seek.' Sidon showed the note to Link and Zelda. "After that I found a treasure chest which give another clue, 'above the veil of fallen water where the shrine lies the door you shall find.'"

"Fallen water ? Could it be a waterfall ?" Asked Link.

"We have to go further down ?" Asked Zelda as she pointed at the waterfall that leads further down to Ruto's Lake.

"Wait, veil of Fallen waters ? Shrine ? Maybe it's not talking about the ones here that leads to Ruto's Lake, maybe we're supposed to go to the Veiled Falls, there's also a shrine over there." Link figure out the riddle.

"But it also says above, does this means we have to swim upwards ?" Questioned Sidon.

"Only one way to find out." Link pull out his sheikah slate and teleport to the shrine in Veiled Falls.

Veiled Falls

The heroes soon arrived at a small waterfall outside of Zora, of course theres a shrine in the middle of the body of water under the waterfall.

"The riddle did say above, since there are no other way, maybe climbing the waterfall is our only best bet." Link then wore his Zora armor. "Okay Zelda, hold on to me."

"Gladly." Zelda gleefully hugged Link from behind. Looking at Zelda being affectionate Sidon is starting to feel some type of way, as this could be Link and Mipha instead of Zelda, but he decided not to ask questions right now.

Zelda is holding on to Link as he and Sidon swim upwards the Veiled Falls to reach the mountain beyond.

Once they reached the top of the waterfall Zelda get off of Link, and on front of them there's another treasure chest. Sidon opened it and see another note with riddle which says. 'Head to the peak of Upland Zorana north of Veiled Falls where the king shall wait'.

"This one is very straightforward, could it be the last of this riddle ?" Questioned Zelda. "And what king? Could it be King Dorephan ?"

"It could be, let's head up there." Link lead the way as Sidon and Zelda follow him.

As the three of them finally reach the peak, to their surprise Ganondorf was also there still weating his cloak.

"I see there's a portal here to, I marked it on the map, all its left is to..hmm ?" Ganondorf turned around to see Link, Zelda, and Sidon. "What are you doing here ?"

"Who's this ?" Sidon point at Ganindorf.

"He's...our friend from another world, his name is..." As Link tried to come up with a name.

"Dragmire." Ganondorf quickly interject and gave Sidon his false name.

"T-thats right ! Dragmire is a friend of us ! He's very curious about Hyrule so we decided to split to cover more grounds !" Added Zelda.

"Hmm..he does look kind of scary, but since he's your friend then I should welcome him, welcome to our domain Sir Dragmire, my name is Sidon, Prince of Zora, i hope you'll enjoy your stay." Sidon greeted Ganondorf, giving him a warm welcome.

"The pleasure is mine your highness, what brings you three here ?" Asked Ganondorf.

"I got a riddle that told us to come here, although I don't see any anything else here, and it seems theres a king we have to wait ?" Sidon looked around the surroundings.

And then another figure approachef the heroes, but it's none other than King Dorephan himself alongside Muzu.

"Sidon ? Why are you here ?" Asked Dorephan.

"Father ? Muzu ? I could say the same." Sidon walked towards Dorephan and Muzu.

"I got this ominous letter that brought me here, it says 'Zora Domain is in danger, head over to Upland Zorana right north of Veiled Falls.'" Dorephan showed the letter to the heroes.

"Who would be doing this ? If this is a prank it's not funny !" Muzu already feeling cranky, "Making us walk all the way here."

"This letter ? Where did you get this ?" Asked Sidon.

"It was found near the throne, Mipha gave it to me and ask me to investigate, it's possible this could he a prank, but it sounds serious so I decided to look into it, honestly who would do this, it's not like there'd anyone in the domain objected to Mipha's rule." Dorephan crosses his arms.

"So why are you here your highness ?" Asked Muzu.

"Well as for why I'm here, I got this note." Sidon gave Dorephan the note as the latter read it.

"What door ? And what truth this refers to ?" Dorephan is confused.

"Whatever the riddle is, it must've wanted us to see what beyond that portal." Link whispered to Zelda and Ganondorf.

"Who do you think made these notes ? Mipha ?" Asked Zelda.

"Can it really ? It's not like she can disobey an order right ?" Asked Link.

"Technically you can, but you need to exploit a loophole, for example you are not allowed to tell anything to the enemy, but writing or doing things the indirect roundabout way is still possible to bypass the order." Added Ganondorf.

"Okay, for now let's assume Mipha wrote it, then that means she wants us to see what lies beyond this portal." Link stared at the portal.

"And the fact that Prince Sidon and King Dorephan and Muzu is also here could mean Mipha wanted for them to see what lies beyond as well." Guessed Zelda.

"The portal here is made invisible, anyone unsuspecting could arrived in other world without realizing it." Contnnued Ganondorf.

"Sidon ! King Dorephan ! Muzu." Link call out the Zoras. "I believe we know the answer."

"But first do you have any idea who wrote this letter ?" Asked Zelda.

"Now that you mentioned it...yes there's no mistake, thisbis Lady Mipha handwriting, but why would she write this ?" Muzu looked confused.

"So what's the answer ?" Asked Sidon.

Trying to tell the answer the Link, Zelda, and Ganondorf entered the portal, but to Sidon, Muzu, and Dorephan's perspective its just like Link suddenly disappear.

Link's head then pop out from a thin air. "There's a portal here, you three need to see this."

Sidon, Muzu and Dorephan are surprised, but not bothering with questions, decided to enter the portal as well.

Pufftop Palace Courtyard

After entering a portal, everyone arrived at what it's like a ruined castle courtyard.

"Where is this place ?" Link looked around.

"The structure is like nothing I've ever seen before." Zelda observing the walls of the castle.

"And more importantly what happened here ? It's like a war break out in here, this castle is badly damaged." Sidon commented on the state of the building.

"There's even shattered ice I this courtyard." Ganondorf examine the broken ice blocks.

"Wait ! I recognize this ice blocks, they look like the same one Vah Ruta produce ! What's the meaning of this !?"

"Is this what Mipha wanted us to see ?" Questioned Dorephan.

"Let's look around ! Something bad might happened here, but there might still be survivor here, let's go look." Everyone agrees to Link's words as they decided to explore the castle.

Pufftop Palace

"I can't imagine there's a place like this, are we not in Hyrule anymore ?" Questioned Muzu.

"I doubt it, this got to be another world." Said Ganondorf.

"But how is Mipha connected to this world ? How did she even know of this world in the first place ? And what did she want us to see here ?" Dorephan asking a lot of questions.

Ganondorf can only stay silent as he had an idea what might happen here.

Link looked outside as there's a balcony nearby, and he can't believe what he see. "E-everyone you need to see this."

"What is it Link ?" Zelda's eyes widen as she looked down. "Oh my !"

"We-we're in the skies !" Exclaimed Sidon as below the castle are actual clouds and below is the ocean.

As shocked as the heroes are, they have aa mission to fulfill and so decided to ignore this for now and press forward.

Along the way they saw broken walls, broken furnitures, but what seems unusual is there's icicles and blocks of ice piercing or embedded on the castle walls and floors.

"There's ice in places where ice shouldn't be, does whoever did this possess ice based attacks ? And are these sikilar to the ones we saw at the courtyard ?" Asked Dorephan.

Zelda looked around the hallway and she saw something moving at the corner of the hallway. "Everyone ! I think I saw something over there !"

"Could it be a resident of this castle ?" Asked Sidon.

"Maybe, this way !" Zelda run to the direction where she saw the figure as the others follow.

As she turned around something leaped and startled Zelda as she got pushed back from her reaction, luckily Link is right behind her to catch her from falling.

"Zelda are you ok ?" Asked Link as he helped Zelda stand.

"I'm fine, just what is that thing that startled me ?" Zelda slowly opted her eyes.

Thee heroes looked at the figure in front of them, it's a yellow star with a face standing jn front of them.

"What is that thing ?" Asked Sidon.

"Is it a living thing ?" Added Ganondorf.

The star creature looked at Sidon with animosity. "You ! Are you friends with that fish lady !"

"Fish Lady ? Are you referring to Mipha ?" Asked Sidon.

"Yes ! I knew it ! You two did lookalike ! That lady Mipha calls herself princess of Zora and attacked my castle ! My parents, sister, and my friends are all captured by her ! I wanted to save them, but I don't know where she'd taken them." The star creature yelled in pure rage.

"No it can't be ! Mipha would never do such a thing ! I never raised her to be a warmonger ! She's a kind woman, beloved by her subjects, by us, she was the Zora's pride and joy !" Dorephan refuse to belive the star creature story.

"You ! You watch you mouth, Lady Mipha would never commit such atrocities !" Muzu backed his King.

"Raised her ? So you're the king of Zoras, why are you here ? Checking on your conquered territory ? Well if I can took down the king then I can use you as a leverage and forced her to reveal my families location." The star creature ready for a fight.

"No wait ! Let's just calmly talk about this !" Sidon tried to defuse the conflict, but the star creature refuse to listen.

"I Starfy, Prince of Pufftop Kingdom swear that it will avenge my family !"

"Not good, we need to calm him down." Link grabbed his Master Sword and shoot sword beam at Starfy, but the prince run towards the heroes and sliding to dodge the attack, as he got close he jumped and attack Link with his Star Spin technique.

"Link !" Sidon turned his attention to Starfy and conjured a water sphere, hoping to trap Starfy in it, unfortunately Starfy isn't trapped and just swim inside the water sphere, he uses his Turbo Swim and lunges at Sidon, headbutting the Zora prince, combining his speed with the impact Sidon sent flying until he hits the wall behind him.

"Ouch, this guy may be small, but he really packs a punch." Sidon rubbing his head.

Starfy set his sights on Dorephan now, he rushed towards Dorephan, but the Zora king doesn't just stand by as he slam the ground with his fist, but Starfy able to dodge that as well, Dorephan keep pounding as he's unable to hit Starfy, and then an opportunity present itself for Starfy to attack, however before Starfy can attack Dorephan a barrier made out of light blocked Starfy.

Zelda used her powers to trap Starfy in a sphere of light, Ganondorf joined in, adding extra layer to the barrier, creating a barrier made out of darkness.

However these doesn't deter Starfy, he uses his powerful technique the Ultra Star Spin, Zelda and Ganondorf can feel their barrier started cracking and Starfy successfully destroyed it much to their surprise.

"This guy ! He's small, but he's just as powerful as Kirby !' Commented Ganondorf.

"Please stop ! We don't want to fight !" Zelda pleading to Starfy to stop.

But Starfy refuse to listen as he grabbed a large debris and throw it at Zelda, Link then steps in and use the stasis rune on the debris, as the debris stop moving he and Zelda move away from the debris. And as the time is up the debris continue flying, but not hitting anyone.

"Sorry about this." Ganondorf fired an energy ball from his hand, but Starfy used his Star Spin technique, bouncing the attack back at Ganondorf, Ganondorf quickly erect a barrier to shield himself.

Starfy dashed towards Ganondorf only for the heroes to try to stop him, Sidon create a geyser, but Starfy just swim through it, using his Turbo Swim, Zelda create a wall made of light which Starfy destroyed with his Ultra Star Spin, he Spin so fast the heroes attacks unable to touch him and as he make it to Ganondorf, he shattered Ganondorf's barrier.

The impact sends him flying a bit. Seizing a chance Link quickly used the stasis rune on Starfy, and he proceed to hit him with his weapon several times, as the times up the accumulated kinetic energy from Link's beating sends Starfy flying until he hits a wall.

"Sidon trapped him in your water sphere I have an idea !" Exclaimed Link as Sidon obeyed, he trapped Starfy in his water sphere yet again, and now Link used the cryonis rune, freezing Starfy inside the water sphere. Ganondorf finish things off by blasting the water sphere with electric stream from his hands.

The relentless attack have finally worn Starfy out as he fell on the floor to weak to fight.

"So, this is it for me then, mother, father, Starly I'm sorry I failed." Starfy recite his 'final words' as the heroes approached him. "I lost, now do what you must, at least I died fighting."

"Please listen we're not here to harm you, we just wanted to know what is going on in here." Said Sidon. "My name is Sidon, and I'm a prince of Zora kingdom, and Mipha is my older sister, but we have nothing to do with what happen in your kingdom, Starfy as fellow prince, I know how horrific it is for our home to be invaded by other forces, tell us what happened."

"You ? You really havee nothing to do with this ?" Asked Starfy.

"We don't, just what have my daughter done ? Mipha is a kind soul, she would never want to do something like conquering another nation." Said Dorephan.

"But he looks beat up, shouldn't we tend to his injuries first ?" Asked Zelda.

"I'm fine." Starfy used his remaining energy to use one of his techniques Monamu Heal, a sea angel like creature appeared above Starfy and spill healing liquid on him, gradually healing Starfy.

"You sure have plenty of surprises aren't you." Commented Ganondorf.

"Unfortunately, the healing process is rather slow, so I can't use it in the middle of battle." Explained Starfy.

"Well here's where I begin." Starfy now tell his story on how his castle come to be like this.

Flashback...

Pufftop Palace - Audience Chamber

High above the clouds lies a large palace, this palace is called Pufftop Palace, the capital of Pufftop Kingdom, the Kingdom is ruled by a king and queen called Papa Star and Mama Star respectively, they had 2 children a son and daughter, Starfy the prince of Pufftop Kingdom and Starly princess of Pufftop Kingdom, although unlike the others, Starly is pink in color and she wear a ribbon on her head

"Another peaceful day isn't it my dear." Mama Star Asked her husband Papa Star, he's an anthropomorphic yellow star wearing blue regal clothes and have white mustache.

"That indeed, I'm glad there aren't many problem happening here." Answered Papa Star to his wife Mama Star, she on the other hand wearing a red royal clothes.

"If only things can always be like this forever." Said Starfy.

"Come on brother, a prince needs to know how to deal with problems, which there will happen with each passing day." Said Starly.

"Starly's right son, to be the next king you need to be wise in order to lead the people." Papa Star agreeing with Starly.

The door to the audience chamber is opened and one of the guards went inside. "Pardon me your majesty, but there's someone here insisting on seeing you."

"A visitor coming ? This is unexpected, who is it ?" Asked Papa Star.

"Well, she calls herself Mipha, princess of Zora." Answered the guard.

"Zora ? I've never heard that word before, what about you dear ?" Papa Star Asked his wife.

"I've never heard that word either, is it a country from far away land ?" Pondered Mama Star.

"Alright let her in, we'll hear what she has to say." Papa Star agreed to let Mipha in.

"Understood sire." The guard leave the audience chamber and proceed to get Mipha.

"How did this Mipha get up here ? Did she went through the Undersea Temple ?" Asked Mama Star.

"It's possible, but I don't know how she knows that, I suppose we just ask her later." Replied Papa Star.

Soon the door opened as Mipha entered the audience chamber.

"Greetings your majesty, I am Mipha, princess of Zora, it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance." Mipha bowed gracefully to Papa Star and Mama Star.

"Greetings princess Mipha, the pleasure is ours, so Zora was it ? I dont think I'm familiar with that term." Commented Papa Star.

"Well that's because my kingdom is far from here." Answered Mipha.

"I see, so what brings the princess of Zora from faraway land to our kingdom ?" Asked Papa Star.

Mipha's expression soured as she was forced to answer. "I-i-i..."

"Are you alright ? You don't look well." Asked Mama Star.

"I-i'm fine, but I demand Pufftop Kingdom unconditional surrender." This demand has shocked the royal family.

"You want us to surrender our kingdom to you ? You know we can't agree to that !" Exclaimed Papa Star.

"I'm sorry, but I don't have a choice." Mipha extended her hand forward and then a loud roar can be heard from below.

"Your majesty ! There's an elephant like monster standing on the seas below !" A star guard rushed towards rhe audience chamber bearing the bad news.

Suddenly the skies turns from sky blue to grey cloud and started raining, the castle then begin rumbling as if something is hitting the castle. Mama Star run towards the balcony to see Vah Ruta shooting large square shaped blocks of ice at the castle.

"Stop this attack this instant !" Ordered Papa Star.

"I'm sorry, but I can't." Mipha showing her reluctance but there's nothing she can do.

"Guards ! Evacuate the citizens we will deal with her !" Ordered Papa Star as the guard obeyed and start evacuating the civilians. "Mama Star, take the kids away from here !"

Mama Star looked worried but she obeyed. "Starfy, Starly we need to get to safety."

"Mom, we can fight, Starly and I can help dad." Objected Starfy.

From inside Vah Ruta a large number of Octoroks coming out from it and fly to Pufftop, shooting rocks at the castle in process.

"We're not debating this !" Mama Star forcefully grabbed Starly and Starfy and get them out from the audience chamber as Papa Star ready to fight Mipha.

Pufftop Palace - Hallway

Mama Star run towards the hallway bringing her children with her.

As they keep running, the ceiling in front of them collapse, blocking their way.

"I can deal with this." As Starfy about to destroy the debris, a figure is appear behind them, Mama Star notice this and turn around. "You !"

Starfy turned around and caught a glimpse of the figure, but then a powerful lightning strike him along with Mama Star and Starly, the direct attack caused Starfy to fall down, and then a second lightning strike all three of them again and leaving all three unconscious.

Flashback ended..

"And that's what happen, when I wake up i can't find my mother and sister anymore, I don't know why that figure didn't kidnap me, then again, the floor I fainted on collapse, and whoever attack us didn't bother to look for me, probably assuming im dead from the fall."

King Dorephan and Muzu is in shock as both fell on their knee. "No,, i-i can't believe this, Mipha used Vah Ruta to attack another kingdom, tell me this is a nightmare ! Is this what she wants to show me !?"

"No, she won't, not willingly at least." Link start to speak. "We apologize about his King Dorephan, but there's something we didn't tell you about Mipha."

"Link ? Do you know something ? Why Mipha would do this unspeakable things ?" Asked King Dorephan.

Link looked at Zelda and 'Dragmire' and nodded, Link begin telling King Dorephan at what he knows.

"So Mipha is still dead, and the one sits on my throne is just a living corpse ? But the attack to the Domain..." Muzu is finding it difficult to process Link's story.

"A false flag operation, to make Mipha a hero and with the king incapacitated, she would automatically crowned queen and have full control of the Domain, also it helps that Mipha is beloved by her people."

"But Sidon said he went to the past and saved Mipha, so how...?" King Dorephan is still at loss for words.

"Unfortunately what Sidon and everyone did doesn't change what happen on our timeline, Mipha, Urbosa, Daruk, and Revali are still dead and on the enemy side right now." Said Zelda. "However there is a way, we need to bring Mipha back to life, that's the only way to save her from the enemy grip."

"Bring Mipha back to life ? I-i want her back, but is it okay ? Bringing the dead back to life ?" Questioned Dorephan.

"Normally we should accept things and move on, but in this circumstances, we can't, they're going to be our enemies playthings at this rate, they all being forced to do things they would never do, like what Mipha did to this kingdom." Explained Zelda.

Finally accepting the truth King Dorephan made his decision. "Very well, then we should return to Zora Domain and bring Mipha back."

"It won't be that easy, Mipha was ordered by her superior to resist any resurrection attempt at all cost, if we were to try to resurrect her she would fight back, maybe even using Vah Ruta to destroy Zora Domain if necessary." Answered Zelda.

"Then what should we do ?" Asked Muzu, "even if we knew this, she still beloved by the people, even if we decide to oust her from the throne, what would the people said."

"We can try convincing the elders one at a time in order not to arouse suspicion, and with Muzu already in on this, the elders will liekly to believe us, this may sound harsh, but considering the circumstances we need to depose Mipha from power." Suggested Sidon.

"And on our side, we will cooperate and launched simultaneous attack so they can't call for backup, some of our allies can help with at least dealing with the divine beast." Said Zelda.

Zelda then turn to Starfy as she kneel down. "Prince Starfy, I'm sorry for what our friend did to you, but I want you to know that she would never do things like this willingly, she's under our enemy control, and I promise you, we will find your family and reunite you with them." Zelda give Starfy a hug.

Link stroking his chin and ask Starfy a question. "Prince Starfy, do you have a friend or enemy who died but seemingly came back to life ? Because that's what happened to Mipha."

Starfy begin thinking, and then Starfy started to remember something, about the figure who blasted him with lightning, it's a blue eel like creature with a pink hair. "Ogura !"

"Ogura ?" Asked Link.

"I remember ! The figure who attacked me is Ogura, he may be my enemy for a time, but he did help us in the end against his master at the cost of his life, please take me with you, if Ogura really in the same state as Mipha did then I want to save him too !"

"He's clearly involved in this now, we can't turn him down." Said Link.

"Understood, you can come with us Prince Starfy." Zelda offered her hand

"Yay ! Oh and just call me Starfy, I don't mind the lack of formality."

"As fellow princes let's do what's best to our domains." Sidon and Starfy shake hands even though Sidon has to kneel down to reach Starfy.

"Then we're done here, let's go back to Hyrule." Said Dragmire as the heroes returned to the courtyard and entered the portal that lead to Zora Domain.

Upper Zorana

"Sidon we'll keep in touch, we need to formulate a plan to save Mipha." Said Link.

"Understood, I will report what Mipha is doing so you guys can formulate a plan on your side as well." Sidon and Dorephan part ways as they return to Zora Domain to plot to remove Mipha.

"I'm done with looking with the portals around thus region, there's 5 portals in total including the one we just entered." Explained Ganondorf.

"The maps on our golden plate is updated too, thanks for your work Ganondorf." Thanked Zelda.

"Just doing what needs to be done, so where to next ?" Asked Ganondorf.

"We're going to Eldin region next, to Goron City." Answered Zelda.

"That place is hot, so you'll be needing this." Link pull out bottles of fireproof elixir.

"The areas of Death Mountain are unbelievably hot, so you need to drink this." Zelda drink her elixir.

Ganondorf and Starfy also drink theirs as well.

"Alright Goron City is next." Said Link as he teleported everyone to Goron City with his sheikah slate.

Goron City

The heroes arrived at a shrine located slightly above he city, and once again Ganondorf decided to look for portals in Eldin Region with Starfy comjg with him while Link and Zelda head to Goron City.

"Is it just me or this place isn't as hot as it used to ?" Link felt differently than the last time he's here.

"If you're curious we could ask Mr. Bludo." Suggested Zelda.

Link and Zelda headed to Bludo's house.

The elderly Goron stand outside his house and as Ljnk and Zelda gets close he cheerfully greeted them. "Link ! Princess Zelda ! It's been a while !"

"It's good to see you too Mr. Bludo, how are things here ?" Asked Zelda.

"Things have been fine, with Vah Rudania not wreaking havoc anymore, Death Mountain have cooled down, now the other races can come without needing fireproof elixirs." Answered Bludo.

"That's great !" Exclaimed Link.

"So what brings you two here ?" Asked Bludo.

"We were wondering if you seen Yunobo, we need to talk to him." Asked Zelda.

"Oh, well if you're talking about Yunobo, he's at the Abandoned North Mine, you see he's thinking of starting a mining company, after the trouble Vah Rudania brought to us, Yunobo wanted to help with our economy and so he's looking for a place to build his company hq." Answered Bludo.

"Is Daruk with him ?" Asked Link.

"Yes, he's helping Yunobo with the company startup, if you wanted to see them, just head to the Abandoned North Mine." Bludo pointed at the north direction as Link and Zelda headed there.

Abandoned North Mine

North of Goron City lies the Abandoned North Mine, because of Vah Rudania rampage, this mine is forced to be abandoned, ruining the Gorons a chance to work and do business, but after Link successfully freed Vah Rudania, it doesn't rain down magma balls anymore and the area near Death Mountain have cooled down, allowing the Gorons to restart their mining operation.

"This area is usually even hotter than Goron City, but now it seems the lava have decreased even further." Said Link.

"It would be great for the Gorons to be able to start mining again." Said Zelda. "But first things first, we need to find Yunobo, it's time he should know what happened to Daruk, since you've been here before Link, where could Yunobo be ?"

"I'm guessing the place where he got trapped, that seems to be the only place that can be used as a building." Link pointed the location as Zelda teleports them.

Link and Zelda arrived in front of a rock formation where Link first meet Yunobo, and right on cue both Daruk and Yunobo came out from it.

"I think this location is right to build the hq, the lava around here is also drying up, it's just a matter of time until everyone can come here."

"Hahahah that's my boy Yunobo, I'm impressed with your decision to build a business to support our city !" Daruk smacked him on the back.

Yunobo and Daruk then saw Link and Zelda standing in front of them.

"Link ! Zelda !" Yunobo waved his hand. "Didn't expect to see you two here !"

"HI Yunobo, we came to visit, we heard that Death Mountain is cooling down so why not use the opportunity right ?" Said Link.

"Yeah, and good timing too, see I finally come up with a name of my company, I called it YunoboCo, it's a mining company created to bring prosperity to Goron City." Explained Yunobo.

"After what Vah Rudania did, you really deserve it, now everyone from Hyrule can come to Goron City to do business." Zelda congratulating Yunobo.

"Thanks, but right now we're scouting for locations that can be used to be our hq, and it looks like I found it, but im still looking for other possible locations." Said Yunobo.

"You choose the Abandoned North Mine, I can see many of the lava had dried up, but weren't there monsters here before too ?" Asked Link.

"Oh you see we already got rid of them all, we chased them out and make sure they'll never come back." Answered Yunobo.

"Ah, Sidon did the same to a Lynel at Mt. Ploymus, you know Yunobo you look more confident than the last time we see each other, I suppose time travel did you wonders huh ? To bad I can't be there to see what happened." Stated Link.

"Yup, the old Yunobo is no more, if i'm going to run a business I can't act timid anymore, I have to act as a leader should." Yunobo Boasted confidently.

"That's a great mindset to have, we can't wait to do business with you, once your company is finally established." Zelda impressed by Yunobo newfound confidence.

"Thanks, well I need to head home now, there's more things to figure out, what will you do ?" Asked Yunobo.

"We would like to speak with Daruk for the time being, you go on ahead." Said Link.

"Okay, if you need me I'll be in my house." Yunobo curled up and roll away back to Goron City.

"So, a mining company huh ? Does Neo Subspace Army have anything planned ?" Asked Link.

"You know i can't tell you that." Replied Daruk.

"Daruk, we know from Mipha that the divine beast were used to attack other worlds, does the same happen with Vah Rudania ?" Asked Zelda.

"What ! How did she !? It shouldn't be possible to leak information to you guys !?" Daruk is shocked to hear how Mipha able to disobey orders.

"She did it in a roundabout way, sending riddles to Sidon, and giving a threat letter to King Dorephan, by figuring things out we reached one of the portals leading to other world, Mipha used Vah Ruta to attack a place called Pufftop Kingdom, did Rudania done the same ?" Asked Zelda.

"I-I see, if she can exploit a loophole then I should be able to, let's see, I suppose telling you where Rudania is doesn't count as interfering in our plan, the portal is inside Isle of Rabac, where the Shora Hah Shrine is." Daruk pointed at the location.

"Got it, thanks Daruk." Link and Zelda thanked Daruk and head to Isle of Rabac as he used his sheikah slate to warp there.

Meanwhile back at Goron City...

Goron City

Yunobo was just back as Bludo approached the young Goron. "So, how is it ? The location is right for you ?"

"Yes, it's perfect to set up the company hq." Replied Yunobo.

"Look, I dont want to sound like a letdown, but you do realize the Abandoned North Mine, there have been sightings of Yiga Clan, you even fought one the other day." Said Bludo.

"They're no threat to us, and besides with the Great Daruk here, those Yiga didn't know what's coming !" Exclaimed Yunobo.

"True, but what about regular merchants who could be possibly mugged or robbed on the way, not everyone is a warrior like Daruk, or me back in my youth." Said Bludo.

"I guess security is also a concern, alright I'm heading back, I need to warn with Link and Zelda about the Yiga Clan sightings, maybe they can help getting rid of the Yiga Clan for good." Yunobo then rollback to Abandoned North Mine.

Abandoned North Mine

"Daruk !" Yunobo returned to where he spoke with Link and Zelda. "Where's Link and Zelda ?"

"They went to Isle of Rabac, why ?" Asked Daruk.

"It's well I just wanted to warn them about Yiga Clan around this parts." Answered Yunobo.

"You can head there if you like, maybe Link and Zelda is still there." Said Daruk.

"Okay, I'll go there." Yunobo then roll again to Isle of Rabac, with the lava had dried up, there's no need to rely on cart rails to get there as Yunobo roll straight away.

"The fact that I can say this must means I'm still playing by the rules, sorry Yunobo, but if it all goes well you will find out what happened to me."

Yunobo went to Isle of Rabac where the shrine is, and yet he didn't see any signs of Link and Zelda around. "That's weird, Daruk said they'd be here, could Link went inside the shrine ? Not sure what he would do considering he already finished the trial."

Yunobo continue to walk around, but then he stumble a rock as he trip and on instinct, curled himself into a ball and roll to a wall, but instead of crashing, Yunobo entered a portal instead.

Razen - Macaroon City

"Whoa !" Yunobo kept on rolling until he crashed into someone.

That someone turned around and offered his hand, Yunobo grabbed it as he stand up. "Thank you, and sorry about that." Yunobo looked at the man and he felt intimidated as he crashed into Ganondorf.

"Yunobo ? What are you doing here ?" Asked Link who is surprised by the unexpected company.

"Link ! Zelda ! W-where is this place !?" Yunobo looked around as this seems to be a rocky city not so different from Goron City.

"We ask around, and...listen Yunobo, we're not in Hyrule anymore, this is a completely different world." Said Zelda.

"Different world ? Wait what is going on, Daruk told me you're going to Isle of Rabac, and now we're not in Hyrule anymore !?"

"I see, then Daruk must've found a loophole as well, listen this may sound shocking, but Daruk is our enemy right now." Said Zelda.

"Daruk ! The enemy !? What are you talking about !? How could he be an enemy !?" Yunobo respond in disbelief.

"Yunobo, you along with Teba, Riju, and Sidon went to the past to save the champions right ?" Asked Zelda.

"Yes, but what does that have to do with any of this ?" sked Yunobo.

"Don't you think its odd that Daruk still alive to this day ? Even if you managed to save him in the past." Asked Zelda

"He said it was rhe goddess blessing." Answered Yunobo

"I'm sorry, but that's a lie and he's still dead, the Daruk you see is just a corpse under the control of Neo Subspace Army." Said Link.

"But, he didn't...Princess Zelda you know we trust you, but I also trust Daruk, he would never..." Yunobo struggle to find the right words.

"And we belive you, but he can't disobey his master, his soul is bound by a death God called Thanatos, and so the only way to free him is to resurrect him from the dead, for real this time." Said Link.

"If you still don't believe us, then follow us, Daruk said he kept Vah Rudania here." Link and Zelda turned around and continue walking.

The further they went inside the city they saw small bearded people wearing viking helmet and even more unbelievable, talking pots.

"What are they ? I've never seen these before." Yunobo looking around cannot believe what he saw.

"Their species are called dwarves and potfolks, I used telepathy to find that out, anyway here we are." The heroes stopped at a large tower.

And then the dwarf guard greeted the heroes. "Oh you're back, Grenadine is finally done with studying the beast, please right this way."

Yunobo looked confused. "You've been here before ?"

"No, but after Daruk told us to come here we went to this tower because we saw Rudania on the volcano behind this building, not long after you arrived here, we're really lucky today." Remarked Link.

The heroes then wentt inside the tower.

Condimen Tower

A Dwarf with green beard greeted the heroes at the first floor. "Welcome, my name is Grenadine, so I've heard you have interest in this lizard robot ?"

"Why yes, we are, my name is Zelda, and this are my...colleagues, Link, Dragmire, Starfy, and Yunobo."

"Nice to meet all of you, it's always nice to meet fellow machine enthusiast, now this way, follow me." Grenadine lead the heroes to the upper floor.

"You know I've never seen your kind before, which planet are you from ?" Asked Grenadine.

"Oh..we're from Planet Hyrule, it's far away from here." Said Zelda.

"Hyrule ? Never heard of it, but the fact that you travel far away to our Planet Razen is very dedicated though."

The heroes finally reached the top floor.

"Those ladders was too small for me." Complained Ganondorf.

Grenadine then opened the metal blinders of the window, showing Vah Rudania in the volcano behind the tower.

"What ! What is Vah rudania doing here !?" Yunobo suddenly burst out shouting.

"Hmm...Vah Rudania ? Hold on how did you know the name of this thing ?" Grenadine become suspicious. "Come to think of it, you do resemble a man that came here with this thing before, he's accompanied with masked ninjas."

"But that's !" Before Yinobo can speak further Ganondorf used his magic to shut Yunobo's mouth.

"Is that so ? But looking at this Vah Rudania, don't you think something like this is very dangerous ?" Asked Zelda.

"No, not at all, we were very curious and wanted to study it, in exchange we gave them a full topography of this planet, they happily accept the deal without issues." Answered Grenadine. "Although things did about to get ugly first."

flashback...

Macaroon City

The dwarves gping through their everyday live, but one day Daruk and the Yiga Clan arrived at the city.

"We're here to speak with your leader !" Daruk bellowing suddenly gained the residents attention. "I am Daruk and this city will be ours !"

"What ! There's no way we'll give our city to you !" Yelled kn of the dwarf.

"They seem to object, your order please Master Daruk." Said one of the Yiga ninja.

Daruk hesitantly give the order. "Guh...make..an example to those who...refuse."

The Yiga pull out his Vicious Sickle and as he's about to kill the dwarf, the Yiga ninja got burned by a flame, he frantically rolled around the floor to remove the flames.

"Did someone here try to cause trouble ?" A young man appeared to approach the Yiga Clan, he has a red hair, wearing green shirt and have brown tan skin.

"Who dare interfere with us !?" Yelled one of the clansmen.

"Guess that would be me, my name is Pico, remember that." The man introduced himself in front of the Yiga Clan, and as they prepare to fight the dwarves went into hiding in the buildings.

"Get him !" The Yiga ninja rallied his comrades to attacking Pico, two Yiga attacking from the distance using their duplex bow, and ass the rest is getting close Pico cast fire magic, creating a fireball that surrounds him, burning the incoming arrows and prevent the other Yigas from getting close.

As the fires subside one Yiga teleproted behind and slashed Pico with his demon carver, Pico screamed in pain as the other Yiga clan rushed to him.

Not wanting to admit defeat just yet, Pico threw a fireball up to the sky, the fireball enlarge in size and fall back down, creating a massive explosive range, burning the Yiga ninjas close by.

Pico got up and thus time with his magic creating a construct shaped like a serpent and rained down it's fiery breath at the Yiga Clan.

Impressed by his power Daruk decided to step in. "You're amazing ! Pico is it ? My name is Daruk."

"Well Mr. Daruk, why are you attacking the dwarves, and don't think just because you're being polite means I'm letting you off !" Pico pointing at Daruk.

"Master Daruk, this kid is strong, we need the divine beast to put him down." Suggested one of the Yiga ninja.

"Vah Rudania against a boy !? Are you insane!" Daruk angry at the Yiga suggestion, however he can't disobey either.

"You will summon Vah Rudania here ! You may be assigned as our leader, but don't forget who is actually possess the authority here." The Yiga threaten Daruk, and to his shame he can't disobey as he summoned Vah Rudania to Macaroon City.

Grenadine who has been watching from outside the tower is impressed and decided on a compromise, Daruk accept the terms and the Yiga gets to use the dwarves technology.

Flashback ended...

"I-I see, thank you for telling us, well I think its time we head back to the inn for now, we're very tired from our long travel, maybe we can continue tomorrow, should nothing urgent came up." Continued Zelda.

"Very well then, I'm gonna take a break as well, I'm gonna resume working later." Grenadine lead the heroes to the elevator as they head to the first floor.

"Sorry our time is rather brief today, I would like to do a detailed study tomorrow." Said Zelda.

"As long as you have that seeker of knowledge spirit, we'd welcome you anytime, see you tomorrow then." Grenadine wave the heroes goodbye as they all heads ot he portal outskirts of Macaroon City.

Isle of Rabac

The heroes returned to Hyrule with Yunobo unable to process what's going on.

"I have..."

"Many questions, we know, and we will answer." Said Link as he and Zelda explain everything to Yunobo.

"No, that can't be, and rhe Yiga Clan sightings, was it his doing ? Is that why they keep coming back here !"

"I'm sorry Yunobo, but don't, lose hope just yet, the only way is to stop this is to resurrect Daruk, for real this time." Zelda's words spark hope in Yunobo.

"For now, just keep an eye on Daruk." Suggested Link.

"I think not !" A voice come from somewhere, and soon numerous Yiga Clan Footsoldiers, 7 to be exact, and 2 Blademasters and Master Kohga appear before the heroes.

"I don't know how you find this out, but dead men tell no tales, at least that's what I've heard from a colleague from Earth." Said Master Kohga.

"You really think you can take us all out ?" Link daring Master Kohga.

"Oh I won't be the one fighting." Master Kohga pull out what's it like a figurine." Oh Fallen Devil, reveal yourself and struck down our enemy !"

Master Kohga infused his magic on the figurine, and a Demon is summoned using the figurine as a vessel, a masked figure appeared in front of the heroes.

"Behold the power I gained from Baklava Solar System ! This is nothing like all of you faced before ! Now attack !"

An Yiga Footsoldier about to slash Zelda with his sickle only for Link to blocked it with his shield, Zelda about to attack the Yiga with a light arrow however she receive a kick to the face from Fallen Devil, knocking her down.

"Zelda !" Link kicked the Yiga in rhe stomach and proceed to shoot a sword beam at Fallen Devil, only for him to dodge the attack.

Link rushed to Zelda. "Zelda are you ok !?"

"I'm fine." Zelda see a Yiga carrying a bow about to shoot at Link. "Link ! Behind you !"

As the Yiga shoot his arrow it was too late for Link to defend, only for Starfy to step in and used Star Spin, deflecting the arrows back at the Yiga bowman, surprised and distracted, he got hit by his own arrow.

Ganondorf is facing off with a Blademaster, Ganondorf summon a sword and locking blade with a blademaster. Ganondorf is holding a one handed but a very large sword, as they still in a stalemate Ganondorf then unleash a Warlock Punch at the blademaster, sending him flying until he hits a wall.

The other blademaster also about to strike Ganondorf with his katana only for Ganondorf to telekinetically strangle him and send him colliding with the other blademaster.

Two Yigas do a pincer attack on Yunobo only for him to use his barrier, Yunobo then perform lariat like attack as he spin around and punch the 2 Yigas.

Fallen Devil cast a spell called Dazzle Dart, he create a spike from dark energy and shoot at Zelda, only for her to destroy it with her light magic, 4 Yiga Footsoldiers, 2 going after Zelda, and 2 going after Link, as they all both jumped to strike the princess and the knight, Link and Zelda made eye contact at each other and nodded, Zelda unleashed a pillar of light, attacking the all the four Yiga simultaneously, and Link used Urbosa's Fury, attackingbthem with electricity.

Yunobo used his earth power to restrain the Yiga Clans, creating a construct shaped like hands or cuffs to restrain them.

Once again Fallen Devil is using Dazzle Dart, however he used it differently this time, he launched the spike upwards, firming a large orb of electric darkness, and the orb rain down the dark spikes, Starfy steps in and used Ultra Star Spin, deflecting all the spikes, while he himself dizzy from the constant spinning.

Zelda fired a beam of light at the large orb, destroying it, exploiting the blast Zelda used the chance to attack Fallen Devi with her liggt arrowl, greatly harming it.

Fallen Devil retaliate by casting another spell called Blood Money, draining Zelda's energy to heal him, however as Zelda's power have awakened, Fallen Devil is ended up in pain instead as he ended up absorbing divine power, which is lethal to a Demon, and not to mention as darkness is his affinity, light is his fatal weakness.

"Zelda !" Link catching a weakened Zelda.

"I'm fine Link, I'm a little tired that's all." Starfy then used the Monamu Heal on Zellda as the liquid from the sea angel healed her gradually.

Master Kohga is seriously angry seeing his forces defeated. "Useless ! All of you ! Fallen Devil ! I have no need for trash ! Exterminate them at once !"

Though weakened Fallen Devill obeyed as he used Blood Money again, but thos time he absorbs the Yiga Clans life force.

Now her faigue slowly removed, Zelda shoot Fallen Devil with her light arrow interrupting the life absorbing spell. Yunobo formed an earth construct shaped like a fist and launched it at Fallen Devil. Starfy also grabbed two large rocks and threw it at Fallen Devil.

Zelda now deal with the finishing blow by blasting him with a light beam, the Fallen Devil is defeated and returned to a figurine.

Yunobo then grabbed master Kohga by the collar. "Master Kohga ! You are many things, but I can't believe you treat your underlings as disposable ! When I returned to the past to help the champions, you're fighting on our side because and evil sorcerer named Astor used your subordinates life to create those Blight Ganons ! You may be our enemy, but you did not treat your subordinates like they're disposables !"

"I don't need lectures from you ! I decide what's best for the clan !" Master Kohga teleported away as the other Yiga also teleported away.

"We let them get away." Said Starfy.

"I should've sealed their teleportation when they were restrained." Commented Ganondorf.

"I can't believe Master Kohga would do that." Yunobo looked dejected. "Then again I have to admit, seeing the Yiga Clan still our enemies then this means that this isn't the Daruk i saved, Link, Zelda, count me in, I want to save Daruk, I will do whatecer i can to help you."

"Of course, feel free to contact us with the golden plate, when the time comes, we will take you to our hq, the Smash Mansion." Said Zelda.

"I'll send any information I can, and we will bring Daruk back to our side." Yunobo now knownwhat to do, he no longer hesitating.

"Of course we will, okay, now we need to go to Rito Village next, we need to inform Teba of Revali." Said Link.

"Yeah, see you later Yunobo." Zelda then teleport everyone except Yunobo to Rito Village next.

Rito Village

The heroes arrived at Rito Village shrine, and as usual Ganondorf and Starfy leave to look for portals around Tabantha region, while Link and Zelda entered the village to speak to Teba about Revali.

"Hearing Stargf and Grenadine story there's something I would like to confirm." Said Zelda.

"Which is ?" Asked Link.

"What if the chasmpions given power to summon their divine beast anywehre, anytime." Said Zelda. "Accordig to Grenadine Daruk summon Rudania out of thin air."

"So you want c9nfirm that story ?" Asked Link.

"Yes, if they're able to summon their divine beast, we need to incorporate this ability to our plans." Answered Zellda.

As they walk they saw Teba is talking to Kaneli.

"Guess we came at a bad time, the conversation seems serious." Said Link.

"Agreed, and doesn't seem like it's gonna over soon." Replied Zelda.

Link and Zelda then see Saki wave her wings at them.

"Oh yeah, we should ask Ms. Saki what's going on." Said Link as Zelda nodded and went to Teba's house.

"Link, Princess Zelda, I didn't expect the company, were you two looking for my husband ?" Asked Saki.

"We are, but it seems like Teba is busy right now." Zelda looked at the house next door.

"What are they discussing ? Sounds important." Said Link.

"Well you see, Chief Kaneli is thinking of retiring, and he plans to have Teba replace him as the next chief, so they were discussing about that." Answered Saki.

"Hmm..Teba as the next chief ? Well I guess I can see that happening ?" Remarked Link.

"Being a chief means you have different responsibilities than your previous position, I just hope for Teba to be able to fulfill the role of his new position." Replied Zelda.

"By the way is Tulin here ?" Asked Link.

"No, he's with Revali he's at the Flight Range, studying his bowmanship yet again." Saki sighed.

Zelda then looked at Link and talk to him telepathically. ("Do you think we have to worry ? Doesn't seem the Rito children have been kidnapped.")

("I dont know, but I think its best to check on them.") Replied Link.

"Thanks for telling us Ms. Saki, since Teba won't be done anytime soon, maybe we're going to visit Tulin." Said Link.

"Okay then, I'm sure Tulin will be happy to see his hero again." Said Saki as Link and Zelda left Teba's house.

Link used his sheikah slate to teleport to the shrine near the Flight Range.

Flight Range

After arriving at Noe Rajee Shrine Link and Zelda made their way to the Flight Range.

Once they climb the stairs they saw Revali overseeing Tulin's archery training.

"Hmm..this kid is good, I suppose I have no worry for future generation of Rito warriors." Revali stroking his beak, as he noticed the two Hylians returned.

"You're back, I'm guessing I don't need to ask why you're here, know that I can't answer anything about my mission." Said Revali.

"We need to confirm something, but let's just wait until Tulin's done with his training." Said Zelda.

"Alright, to be honest I'm glad you're here, my order is rather...asinine to be honest." Revali has a hint of disdain in his voice.

"Hylian children have been missing, is your mission is doing the same to Rito children ?" Asked Zelda.

"Since you already know then yes it is something like that, the fact that Tulin a natural warrior, Neo Subspace Army had their eyes on him." Said Revali.

Tulin, now done with today's training return to the hut. "Master Revali how's that !?"

"You did great kid, I admit you're a natural, reminds me of myself actually, keep it up and you'll be a great warrior." Revali offered praise at Tulin's progress.

Tulin looked behind as he saw Link and Zelda, in excitement Tulin rushed to them. "Wow ! Link ! Princess Zelda ! You came to visit !"

"Hey there Tulin, I see you keeping up with your training." Said Link.

"Of course ! If I want to be a great warrior I can't slack off with my training !" Exclaimed Tulin.

"That's a great attitude to have, but don't push yourself too hard you hear, it won't be funny if a warrior get exhausted or sick before a battle." Link give Tulin advice.

"Yeah I know, dad and Master Revali kept saying that, but enough of that, this is an unexpected visit, oh Is it about my dad going to be the next chief ?" Asked Tulin.

"Oh...well yeah, I mean making ties with Rito Village is important after all, we need to have talk about trades, diplomacy and so on.. Said Zelda.

"Sounds complicated, not sure I can completely understand all that." Remarked Tulin.

"It's still too early for kids to know politics, well anyway we'd like to talk with Revali, it's rather private." Said Zelda.

"Okay then, I guess I'll be heading back now." Tulin flapped his wings as he flew back to the village.

"Well he's gone back, and that's for the better, any excuse to delay my mission the better." Stated Revali.

'Surprised you still haven't abduct him, or any the other children." Commented Link.

"One thing my mission entails is I have to do it without anyone noticing, as I'm still needed here, fortunately Teba is formidable warrior which is why if I risk blowing my cover., even i admit i would be in huge trouble."

"I rather think you called for backup since this is a very difficult mission." Link point out.

"Link ! Don't give him any ideas !" Complained Zelda.

"Actually we did try that, one of our member sent to kidnap a Rito child, however the child's father Harth, happens to bring a bow and arrow with him and pretty much bombard him with bomb arrows, I admit he's not as good as Teba, but his skills are good enough. next we try at night time where everyone's asleep, and the only witness there is Saki and we did underestimate her, however turns out Saki quite the formidable archer herself, and man was she scary when she's mad."

"You must be so proud of your people." Said Zelda.

"I do indeed, my superior are very frustrated at the strings of failure to kidnap Rito children, you really should see her face." Revali can only chuckled.

"There aren't really any warriors at Hateno Village, is that why the kidnapping is much easier there ?" Questioned Link.

"That could be the case...but we can continue talking after we did what we came here for, Revali we're here to resurrect you." Declared Zelda.

"W-what !" Revali is shocked by Zelda sudden declaration. "You do realize what you're talking about yes ? As much as I want to be free I was ordered to put up a fight ! Please tell me you have something planned."

"No, nothing planned, we just going to drag you with us and forcibly resurrect you, Link." Zelda looked at Link as both ready to fight.

"Guh...I can't control my body !" Revali quickly jumped to the Flight Range and summon Vah Medoh, Revali raised his right wing and shouted Vah Medoh name as the mechanical bird materializing out of thin air, confirming Zelda's suspicion.

Zelda and Link stop their intent to fight, Revali noticed this and he sends Vah Medoh away as the mechanical bird vanished.

("So it's true, the champions did granted powers to summon their Divine Beasts.") Zelda said to Link telepathically.

("All the more reason we can't do this without proper planning.") Replied Link.

("Yeah, we need everyone's help on this.") Zelda agreed with Link.

Revali return back to the hut. "I do hope you two know what you were doing, if you persist in fighting I may have to attack my own village just to get you two to stand down, honestly a princess should be more wise in making decision."

"Lesson learned Revali, I suppose we'll be on our way now." Zelda grabbed Link's arm and left the hut, after they climb the ladder down Link used his sheikah slate to return to Rito Village.

Rito Village

Once arriving at the shrine Link and Zelda quickly rushed to Teba's house, and luckily it seems his conversation with Kaneli is over.

"Link ! Princess Zelda ! You came !" Tulin greeted them excitedly.

"Well this is a surprise, sorry I was unavailable earlier, so I assume you've heard what happened?" Asked Teba.

"Yeah, umm...congratulation on becoming the new chief ?" Said Link.

"Well he's getting old, so someone had to take the position...by the way, correct me if i'm wrong but I think I saw Vah Medoh at the Flight Range earlier, do you know something about it ?" Asked Teba.

"We need to tell you this, there's something about Revali you need to know." Link and Zelda told Teba and his family what happened.

And obviously they can't believe what they just heard.

"Master Revali is the enemy ? I-i can't believe this." Teba sounded shocked.

"Listen, Revali is under the enemy control, he's not doing this out of his own free will, what we need to do is bringing him back from the dead, the Revali you see is just a living corpse, who can only obey his master." Explained Link.

"The same can be said to all the champions, but we can't just confront them directly, they were given powers to summon the Divine Beast, and they will use it, they were ordered to resist any resurrection attempt at all cost." Added Zelda.

"And so we need your assistance, for now just keep an eye on Revali, and keep foiling any attempt to abduct Rito children." Continue Link.

"Understood, we will stay alert, thanks for telling us, you know dear it was good timing you still awake the other day." Said Teba.

"Yes, I guess just because things are peaceful you can't let your guard down." Saki sound dismayed.

"And this is why I insist on training Tulin." Replied Teba.

"Okay I won't make a fuss about it anymore, Link, Princess, thank you for the warning." Saki thanked the two Hylians.

"You're welcome Ms. Saki, well we should be on our way now." Said Link.

"Aww you won't stay, mom is making dinner." Tulin looked dejected.

"Sorry Tulin, but let's hang out when things calmed down okay." Link petted Tulin on his head.

"Okay, that better be a promise." Link and Zelda left Teba's house as the family waved goodbye at them, Link and Zelda return to the shrine.

Akh Vaquot Shrine

As the two return they saw Ganondorf and Starfy have returned.

"So you can transform with the help of space rabbit ? Now I'm curious." Starfy is telling his previous adventure with Ganondorf.

"Yeah, we were able to defeat Mashtooth minions using those powers, I do hope Bunston isn't under any kind of attack, with what you tell me so far I'm afraid Mashtooth would attack Bunnera again." Starfy is feeling worried.

"We're back, so you're done with the scouting ?" Asked Zelda.

"We did, there's around 8 portals in Tabantha Region." Ganondorf showed the map picture in his golden plate.

"We warned everyone, we now need to look for opportunity to execute our plan." Said Link.

"We can discuss this once everyone back from their mission." Replied Zelda.

"So now is it time to search the caves beneath the castle ?" Asked Ganondorf.

"Yes, this gloom is worrying me, we need to deal with the problem fast." Said Zelda.

"Then what are we waiting for...you know Zelda there aren't warp point in the castle unless were going through the docks." Said Link.

"Hold on, first we need to return to Lookout Landing, I need to ask Purah if she finish my request." Replied Zelda.

"Fine, Lookout Landing is it then." Link agreed as he used the golden plate to teleport to the destined location.

Lookout Landing

Link teleeported directly to Purah's lab , turns out Purah finished her invention which she called the Purah Pad and guve it to Zelda.

"Thank you Purah, ill be sure to take good care of it, okay were dine here, now i will teleport us to the caves." Finally with everything done Zelda then teleport everyone to the castle.

Caverns Underneath Hyrule Castle

After resolving to depose the champions, the four of them now return to the castle to fulfill their original goal.

The heroes kept on walking, however the trail doesn't seem to end as they keep descending down further and further, Link carried a torch in case it gets dark down here.

"The gloom is getting thick here, we've been descending for a while now...these tunnels are deeper than I thought. What could be here ?" Pondered Zelda.

The heroes kept on walking and small black mists can be seen in front of them.

"Is this the gloom ?" Commented Starfy

"People have been falling ill after coming contact with the gloom drifting from these caverns, though it seems misty and not concentrated enough to harm us." Remarked Zelda.

"We'll keep going, with it coming from beneath Hyrule Castle, we don't know what waits below, so we need to be ready for anything,, but I know I'll be okay with you Link, so let's solve this mystery."

Link and Zelda proceed to walk however, the master sword seemed to glow. "Link ! The Master Sword, it seems to have sensed something, I knew we have a reason to concern."

"Ever since the Calamity, the castle have fallen into neglect, but inever could have jmagine something like these tunnels are hiding here. We must be careful as we go deeper."

The heroes kept on moving but then Zelda seemed to notice something. "Wait ! These are ruins from ancient civilization, there's something written here, could this be...from the Zonai ?"

They proceed again, but soon Zelda got distracted again. "These carvings, I'm sure they're zonai in origins, I've seen designs like this in my studies, the Zoani is said to lived long ago from the time of earliest legends, they had godlike powers and had prosperous civilizations in the sky. Many history books tell us about the Zonai, but not the full picture, much is still unknown about them.

They proceed to move, but then. "These statue ! Is thus what the Zonai look like ? They seem so different from us, and such large ears. How ruins from a civilization in the sky end up here beneath the castle ? It looks like te path ahead goes even deeper, let us continue."

The heroes continue further, several Keese going after Link, but he's able to defeat all three of them.

"You're not hurt are you Link ?" Zelda show concern for her knight even though it's just Keeses that Link fought.

Zelda then looked at rhe walls. "Look at these murals...the written history of the royal family. Includes a story of great war fought long ago. It was a conflict between allied tribe and someone only referred to as the Demon King."

Zelda moved to a different mural. "Is it possible ? Does these murals depict the same legend ? This is similar to the statue we seen earlier...a Zonai." Zelda looked at the lower part of the mural. "And these figures look like Hylians, this depiction certainly suggests that the Zonai descended from the heavens."

"It's said that my ancestor, the first of Hyrule royal family, was born from the union with gods who descended from the heavens. These murals tells a similar story, and if they are accurate, then the gods they mentioned are the Zonai, they must have forged a relationship with the Hylians at that time, working together to establish the kingdom of Hyrule !"

Zelda moved on to another mural and she saw what's it like a sinister looking figure. "This figure...he seems to be stealing something of a great power from the young kingdom, this all align with what I've read during my studies."

Zelda move to a different mural again. "And then this...it shows the Demon King ! And a fierce battle against him. Of the creature depicted here really does represent the Demon King then...incredible ! The mural must be the great war recorded in the royal histories ! This is the Imprisoning War and the events that led up to it !"

"Link ! This is a great discovery !" Zelda grabbed a device that looks similar to the sheikah slate. "Alright then, now to use this invention of Purah's, glad I didn't leave it behind. It's so easy to record, you just point and click." Zelda taking pictures if the mural using the device she's holding.

Unfortunately, not all the murals are intact. "Oh it looks like some of the murals are obscured, just what is this place ? Maybe we'll find the answers farther ahead, let's keep moving deeper."

Ganondorf is staring at the picture of the Demon King.

"No offense, but the Demon King looks a lot like you." Commented Starfy.

"He..kinda does." Added Zelda.

"It's possible that this is one of my incarnation, and if he is then...Princess Zelda, whatever you do do not trust Ganondorf, no matter what he said or do, never let your guard down around him." Ganondorf gave Zelda a warning.

"Understood, I'll take your word for it." Replied Zelda.

The heroes kept on moving, as the path goes deeper and deeper, and the gloom becoming more and more concentrated, but the heroes kept pushing forward until they reached a wide room. Very obvious that there's a green colored energy spiraling in the middle of the room.

"What is this place ? Let's continue Link, but we must be extremely careful."

"Ok." Answered Link.

The heroes approached the source of the ebrmy only to find a corpse in the middle, the corpse seemd to be impaled by something, that something fell and dropped a glowing stone, Zelda picked the glowing stone, the form resemble a magatama.

And then large amount of gloom burst out from the corpse as it makes uncanny motions, the corpse then turned its face towards the heroes.

The gloom aimed towards Zelda, however Link blocked the gloom from reaching Zelda using the Master Sword, however Link's right arm covered in gloom, and the gloom seemed to infect Link's arm in and siphoning him of his strength, not only that the gloom seemed to weaken the Master Sword as well.

A second wave of the gloom is coming and aiming at Link this time, however as Link tried to fend off the gloom something unthinkable happen, it was able to break the Master Sword.

"Ganondorf is shocked as he's distracted by the master Sword breaking. And at that moment, without realizing, Ganondorf and Starfy got teleported.

"Link !" Screamed Zelda.

The corpse begin talking. "Was that the sword that seals the darkness ? A blade that shatters easily with my power cannot save you from me." The corpse move again trying to stand up. "Zelda, you who carries that fragile sword ate Link, Rauru placed his faith in you, and that was all you could do ?"

"How do you know our names ?" Asked Zelda.

The corpse unleash another stream of gloom and aimed it upwards, the force is so strong it raised Hyrule Castle from the ground.

"The ground where the heroes are standing are shaking and collapsing, Zelda fell and cried out to Link, without hesitation Link jumped to save her, but alas Link couldn't reach Zelda and she disappear into light.

A green light appear behind Link, however something or someone grabbed his hand and pull him in, he disappeared by being enveloped by that green light.

Ganondorf and Starfy shake their head as they wonder where they are. "What happened ? I saw the master sword got broke and we..."

Ganondorf looked around to see familiar figure in front of him. "Mother ?"

"They're your mother ?" Asked Starfy.

"Surrogate mother, but yeah, what are you doing here mother ?" Asked Ganondorf.

"We heard you left the Neo Subspace Army and join forces with the enemy, please tell us this us one of your schemes." Said Koume.

"No, I have no schemes, I'm sick of being evil !" Declared Ganondorf."

Koume hearing this reacted like she had a heart attack and acting all wobbly.

"Koume !" Kotake catch her twin sister and tried to console her. "Koume are you alright ?"

"Alrihht ? Alright ? How can I be alright while our son say such horrendous things !" Koume answered angrily.

"Ganondorf ! Look at what you've done, now take back what you said ! After all we did to raise you this is how you show your gratitude !? Did you forget all the things we teach you !" Kotake respond in anger as well.

"I am done with being evil ! I lost sight of my true goal and ended up making Hyrule an even worse place than the desert, Link and Zelda no longer my enemy and I will assist them in defeating you, Starfy !"

Starfy hopped on Ganondorf shoulder as he teleport back to the room where the corpse lie.

"Koume, where have we gone wrong ?" Kotake sobbed at Ganondorf's defiance.

"Ganondorf gone naughty, you know what we should do to naughty kids ?" Koume asked her sister.

"You're right Kotake, Ganondorf needs to be disciplined, should we see him again, he will be punished for his defiance."

"Link ! Zelda !" Ganondorf returned to the same room to see Link and Zelda is gone, but the corpse still here.

"Where are they !" Yelled Ganondorf.

As Ganondorf tried to look for Ljnk and Zelda time suddenly stops and a voice spoke to Ganondorf. "Ganondorf, do not worry for this si another trial Link and Zelda must face."

"Goddess Din ? Yeah those two overcome many hardship and they always came out triumphant, this time is no different." Ganondorf believe in Link and Zelda as Din's voice can't be heard anymore, and time returned to normal.

"Who knows, but with my biggest obstacles gone, so now nothing can stop me." Answered (TOTK)Ganondorf.

"So you're the Ganondorf of this era." The two Ganondorf finally. Meet and facing each other.

"You ? How is ?" (TOTK)Ganondorf confused at seeing a lookalike.

"That's not important, you think that you've won, but mark my words this is not yet over, Link and Zelda will return and they will defeat you just like they did me, so enjoy your victory, as short lived as it is." Mocked Ganondorf.

"After what I just seen, it seems I have nothing to worry about them defeating me." Replied (TOTK)Ganondorf. "What about you ? You wish to fight me as well ?"

"You're defeat is not in my hands, but at Link and Zeldas hands.

"So even you will have faith for those weaklings ?" Questioned (TOTK)Ganondorf.

"I am, and you will see why, just like before, Link and Zelda will come out triumphant." With their business done Ganondorf teleported from the cave and return to the mansion, believing Link and Zelda will return.

And done, surprise theres two chapters released...well not really, but i did overhaul chapter 84, i accidentally erased it , however I did ended up remaking it, most of it is still the same, but I altered several scenes to fit to Tears of the Kingdom, to read the full story please reread chapter 84.

So considering the lack of screen time for the bad guys, this chapter shows the offscreen villainy done by Neo Subspace Army, the invasion of Pufftop Palace and Planet Razen are such example.

Starfy is the main character of the game Legendary Starfy, it has 4 titles sadly only the 5th one receiving translation thaanks to low sales.

Planet Razen is one of the planets in Baklava System, a location in the video game Magical Starsign.

Fallen Devil is a figurine boss in Magical Starsign, apparently you need to fight the superboss Macadameus to enable the figurine boss fight.
