Since the beginning of creation, the universe is teeming with life and many worlds have born as a result but these worlds are separated from one another with the inhabitants of each worlds living their everyday life blissfully unaware of the existence of worlds other than their own... Until now.

106. Beautiful Reunion

Smash Mansion

While many of the heroes are on their mission, Isabelle is still on the Archive Room, searching for the remaining emeralds, but so far her efforts prove fruitless. "Still nothing, I guess we really do have to wait for them to reveal themselves first."

And just like that Isabelle words came true, the two remaining emeralds have revealed itself. "I-it's really happening !" Isabelle quickly pinpoint the location and informed the others about it.

She picked up her golden plate and contacting the others with it. "Attention, attention ! The remaining chaos emeralds have been discovered."

The mansion is in a buzz, as now should be the time to decide who will take part on the mission.

"The location of the emerald is in a place called Kalos region, it seems this is a pokemon world this time." Informed Isabelle.

"If it's Pokémon world wouldn't it makes sense for Red or Blue take part ?" Asked Popo.

"But they have been training the monsters Ganondorf brought from that alien planet, I wonder if they're too tired to go." Replied Nana.

And then Red and Blue spoke with the others from their golden plate. "Sorry everyone, but we can't join this time, we've been training the PNF wildlife, and it's a bit difficult as they're not what we used to."

"Why don't you take Greninja with you ? he's from Kalos." Suggested Blue.

Hearing this Greninja looks hesitant.

"Look Greninja, I know you want to keep Calem safe, but we need someone who knows the geography like you, there's a chance our enemy also going to make their way to Kalos and wreak havoc to get to the emerald." Blue spoke with Greninja with his golden plate, because of Greninja bipedal and humanoid propotion the pokemon able to use the golden plate with ease. "And that could potentially put Calem in danger."

Greninja relent and made up it's mind and agreed to take part on the mission.

"Well then, I would like to take part in the mission as well." Declared Hendrik. "everyone else have taken part and this time is my turn."

"Will it be okay ? Don't you think Hendrik need an outfit change ?" Asked Popo.

"Not to worry, there's a knight in Kalos as well, he could just mistook Hendrik for a fellow knight enthusiast or relative, just say Hendrik is Wikstrom family member." Remarked Blue.

("I willl take part on the mission as well.") Announced Lucario.

"The Luminary group have been taking part in missions, while we're still sitting here doing nothing...count me in too !" Sully offered to join as well. "Stahl, Kjelle you two are coming as well !"

"But Sully, we're going to a world where they're using monsters as the weapons, is this mission really fitting for us ?" Asked Stahl.

"All the more reason, humans won't be the only thing we're going to fight so, it's time to get used to fighting monsters other than Risen." Answered Sully.

"Give it up father, when mother like this.." Kjelle already relenting.

"I know...although I am curious about this world we're going." Said Stahl.

"So it would be Greninja, Lucario, Hendrik, Stahl, Sully, and Kjelle. Alright please head to the Archive Room, I will teleport you to your location." Isabelle instruct the heroes as they all head to the basement.

Archive Room

The people decided to take part on the mission has arrived at the archive room.

"Isabelle we're here, so where exactly our destination ?" Asked Sully.

"Right, you will be going to a cave called Sea Spirit's Den, that's where I find the readings of the emerald, just grab the emerald and head back here." Instructed Isabelle.

"That's all ? It shouldn't be too hard then." Remarked Kjelle.

"I will send you there right now." Isabelle teleported the heroes with her golden plate.

Azure Bay

The heroes arrived at a small island located in northwest of Kalos.

"So we're here ? I have to say it's a beautiful place." Stahl is awed at the scenery.

"Yeah, sadly we don't have time to waste here." Replied Sully.

"That cave is must be where the emerald is, we should go inside right away." Hendrik pointed at the cave.

The heroes entered the cave, however unbeknownst to them...except Lucario, a figure is watching them from a distance.

Lucario looked behind only to see that no one's there, Lucario turned around again but it knows that someone is watching them.

"That was close, an aura reader is among them, i can't let my guard down." Said the figure who is hiding behind a rock.

Sea Spirit's Den

As the heroes entered the cave they saw a brilliant blue gem hovering in the middle of the cave.

"Wow." Kjelle looked mesmerized by the emerald.

("You can tell it's otherworldly nature just from looking at it.") Commented Lucario.

Greninja conjure a geyser of water under it's feet and ascend upwards, it then grabbed the emerald as it jumped down back to the ground.

"So then, mission accomplished ?" Asked Stahl.

"Guess it is then, I'll take us back." As Kjelle about to grab her golden plate, a violent shaking occurs, causing the heroes to lose their balance and fell.

"W-what the !" Kjell quickly grabbed her golden plate.

("Outside !") Lucario and the others got up and quickly left the cave and headed outside.

Azure Bay

Once they reached outside, the sky has darkened, the wind is getting strong and in the middle of the bay a large waterspout has formed.

"What happened ! Is that a giant waterspout ?...wait ! Sea Spirit's Den ! Is this the Sea Spirit wrath ?" Panicked Stahl as he covering his face from the strong wind.

"Gre gre !" Greninja tried to explain.

("He said there's no Sea Spirit living here, but if we don't do something about that waterspout, the nearby city will be in danger !") Lucario pointed at Coumarine City.

"The waterspout is still quite far, I don't think the city is in immediate danger." Pointed Hendrik.

However the waterspout begin moving as it head to the city.

("It's moving to the city !") Lucario then sensed someone's presence, the same presence it sensed before, and it can tell it's no ordinary presence either. ("There's someone here ! Show yourself! I know you're here !")

A figure wearing a black robe teleported in near the heroes. "Should have known i won't be able to hide for long, just what I expect from an aura pokemon." The figure spoke in a feminine voice and complimented Lucario.

"You're the one behind this aren't you !" Hendrik pointed at the waterspout.

"I suppose I am, although I'm willing to stop this waterspout, in exchange for the emerald." The figure offered a bargain.

"You know we can't hand over the emerald to you, something powerful like the chaos emerald cannot fall to the wrong hands." Stahl refuse her offer.

"Your choice, but that waterspout will head to the city and there's nothing you can do about it." The female figure speak with an indifferent tone.

Earlier...

Vaniville Town

Located in the southern part of Kalos region lies a small town called Vaniville Town, where a certain pokemon trainers live.

"Okay mom I'm heading out." Says a blonde haired girl, she wore a red hat, black sleeveless shirt and red frilled skirt, she also wear a long black sock and black high top shoes.

"Off to visit Calem again Serena ?" Asked a woman who is Serena's mother.

"Yes, he's been feeling very down ever since that strange light appeared and Greninja disappeared, we're going to help him look again." Said Serena.

"Calem is very lucky to have a friend like you." Remarked Serena's mother.

"I'm sure you do too during your racing days, the famous Rhyhorn Racer Grace." Replied Serena.

"Fans and friends are two different things dear, and i hope you would cherish the bonds and moments you have with your friends." Encouraged Grace. "When you become famous it becomes hard to tell who your friends are."

"I will, and i keep that in mind." Serena opened the door and left the house.

"She really has grown up, letting her go on a journey really did a lot of good for her." Grace is smiling at her daughter's growth.

Serena head over to the next door house and knock on the door.

The door opened and a woman appeared inside the house. "Welcome Serena, here to see Calem again ?"

"Yes...how is he ?" Asked Serena.

"I'm afraid it's getting worse, he barely feel like eating now." Answered Calem's mom.

"It has been a while since Greninja disappear, I can see why he would be feeling down, but sulking won't bring Greninja back." Replied Serena.

"Please try talking to him, I don't know what else I can do." Calem's mom is getting very worried.

Serena went upstairs and knock the door of Calem's room. "Calem, I'm here, let's go look for Greninja again today."

Calem replied to Serena, but his response is..."Thanks Serena, but I think I'm done, we look everywhere, the forest, the seas, even the mountains and yet there's no sign of Greninja anywhere, we even asked Emma and she already helped searching every nook and cranny of Lumiose City." Replied Calem despondently.

"So that's it, you're giving up just like that ? After everything you've been through with Greninja you're just gonna stop !" Yelled Serena, disappointed in Calem.

"If the Sam thing happen to you and Delphox ?" Calem retorted to Serena. "Will you keep looking for her even if the search can take months or even years ?"

Hearing this Serena can't really answer, what if her search prove fruitless ? Does she have no choice but to give up as well ? And if so does she has the right to lecture Calem ?

"We started our journey together, I raised Froakie until he becomes Greninja, which you're doing the same with Fennekin until she becomes Delphox, and we went through so much together, we travel the entire region, challenge the league, the gym, even defeated Team Flare." Continued Calem

"Calem." Serena Interjected, she then calmed down and sit in front of Calem's room door, with her back against the door. "Sorry, I really don't have any answer either, what would happen if Delphox suddenly disappear like Greninja did...Delphox means a lot to me just like Greninja means a lot to you, and it's also possible I may give up searching."

"So you understand ?" Asked Calem.

"However..." Stopped Serena. "What would you do if it was me who is sulking in my room ? Will you told me to stop looking for Delphox ? And cooped up inside forever ? Will you leave me be ?"

"N-no..I-I want you to keep...searching...Serena if you're feeling depressed...i... i wanted to help you." Calem is having a realization.

"Calem, im doing the same thing you do, and I won't give up on you, and I know you won't give up on me either if the situation is reversed...okay I won't force you to leave your room, but I still want to look for Greninja, well that's all, I will be on my way now." Serena got up and headed downstairs, but Calem stops her.

"Wait ! Wait just a moment, don't go anywhere ! i'll be done in a few minutes !" After a few minutes the door to Calem's room opened and he dressed in his usual attire, a blue jacket and pants and wearing a red hat.

"Ready to go ?" Asked Serena expecting Calem to got out of his funk.

"Yeah, sorry you had to see that." Calem apologized.

"We all have our hard times, what's important is you won't let it get you down forever." With Calem now get out from his funk the two trainers head downstairs.

Once they reached the first floor, Calem's mom approached them. "Calem you finally out of your room !"

"Yeah, I'm sorry for worrying you mom, but I'm fine now." Calem apologized to his mother.

"So are you two heading out now ?" Asked Calem's mom.

"Yes, we're going to continue to look for Greninja." Answered Serena.

"Well you may want to se this first." Calem's mom direct the two to the TV.

Calem and Serena is surprised to see the news.

"This just in, a huge waterspout appeared in Azure Bay, and headed to Coumarine City, so far we don't know what's causing this, we advice the citizens of Coumarine City to evacuate and forbid any visits to he city at the moment." The reporter seems to be reporting from a helicopter.

"Is that Alexa ?" Calem and Serena recognize the reporter.

With the way the camera positioned, Calem noticed something, there's a group of people on the island below and he saw Greninja among them. "Greninja !"

Both Serena and Calem's mom startled by Calem sudden outburst.

"You saw Greninja there ?" Asked Serena.

"Yes ! I swear, Greninja is there ! I saw it when the camera recording below !" Exclaimed Calem as the camera angle changed again.

"And how do you know that's your Greninja ? It could be a wild Greninja or a Greninja that belong to other trainers...Calem you are not going there ! It's too dangerous !" Calem's mom forbidding her son from going to Azure Bay.

"But...this could be my chance ! I promise I be careful." Pleaded Calem.

"I won't budge on this ! Do you know how worried I was when on your journey you got involved with Team Flare and that destructive weapon ! You may have come out safely that time, but no guarantee you're coming back unscathed this time !" Calem's mom insist on stopping Calem.

"I...understand, I'll go back to my room." Calem despondently head upstairs again.

"You should do the same too Serena, I will tell Grace about this." Calem's mom picked up the phone and called Grace about Serena and Coumarine City.

Serena then walked out of Calem's house. "Well, what now..." Serena murmured to herself. However at this time Serena Holo Caster begin ringing, Serena picked it up and show a hologram of a girl with twin tail hairstyle. "Shauna ?"

"Serena did you hear the news ? About Coumarine City ?" Asked Shauna.

"Yes, I've heard." Replied Serena.

"Tierno and Trevor is right there and helping with the evacuation, I'm coming there to help them, if you can I hope you and Calem can lend a hand as well." Shauna then ended the conversation.

"I've heard everything." Calem spoke behind Serena as she yelped in surprise.

"Calem ? How did you ? When did you ?" Serena wonders how Calem able to leave the house, and then she saw a cat like pokemon standing near Calem, a blue cat like pokemon with white streaks.

"If you're wandering i asked Meowstic to teleport me outside, we're going to Coumarine City." Calem said without hesitation.

"Alright, let's do this, and promise not to do anything too dangerous." Said Serena.

"Promise." Calem then looked at his house. "I'm really sorry for this mom, but I have no choice, Meowstic send us to Coumarine City." Meowstic used it's psychic power to teleport Calem and Serena to Coumarine City.

Coumarine City

Calem and Serena arrived at the city, at the hillside part specifically, the two looked down to see the streets full of people walking in line to leave the city.

"Look at those crowd of people." Pointed Calem.

"The waterspout is getting close, no doubt everyone is scared." Serena looked at the waterspout.

"Calem ? Serena ? Thank goodness you two are here." Shauna approached the two trainers.

"Shauna, how are things here ?" Asked Calem.

"Thanks to the efforts of Tierno, Trevor, Ramos, even Dexio and Sina we managed to do the evacuation without trouble. I went back to check if there's anyone else still here, but i'm glad that no one gets left behind." Answered Shauna.

"Alright everyone walk in orderly fashion ! The waterspout is still too far away." Two boys, one is fat and wearing a black shirt, and the other one has a big red hair, helped organizing the evacuation to prevent the citizens from running in panic.

The ones leading the evacuation is an old man riding a goat like pokemon.

"All the people are accounted for Mr. Ramos." One of the two masked people said to the old man.

"Good, so what about you two ?" Asked Ramos.

"We will try to stop the waterspout somehow." Answered the masked man.

"It's our duty as the Kalos Defender." Added the masked woman.

As the two then decided to return to the city, the masked man sent out an Alakazam and teleport them back to the city.

The masked duo appeared at the hillside and surprised to see Calem and Serena.

"Calem ? Serena ?" The blue masked man surprised to see Calem and Serena.

"Dexi...I mean Kalos Defender !" Serena quickly correct herself.

"Any plan to deal with this ?" Asked Shauna.

"I was thinking of using my pokemon to use ice type move to freeze this thing." Answered Sina.

"But the waterspout is too big." Pointed Shauna.

"That is true, it will took a lot more ice type Pokémon to do the job." Sina looking at the waterspout.

"I have an idea, but first...Defender Red battle me !" Declared Dexio.

"We don't have time for a pokemon battle right now !" Exclaimed Serena.

"Trust me I know what I'm doing, Alakazam !" Dexio command Alakazam to battle.

Sina knows what Dexio is planning as she sends out Glaceon.

As this is a battle Dexio mega evolved his Alakazam into Mega Alakazam.

"Oh I see what you're planning." Realized Calem.

"Yeah, I'm going to use Mega Alakazam's power to disperse the waterspout, ready Mega Alakazam ?" Dexio about to give his command. Mega Alakazam is ready, but before Dexio give his command the waterspout turned frozen solid.

"T-that wasn't me." Said Sina as everyone looking at her.

Azure Bay

Earlier...

The waterspout is still raging and the heroes doesn't seem to have any other option.

"You don't have any choice left, if you wish for the waterspout to stop, hand over the emerald and I will do that." Offered the figure.

"And why should we trust you ?" Asked Hendrik.

"Because I know I will kept my promise, what about you ? Even though you're suppose to be the good guys, several of you are also willing to play dirty to get what you want, so I can't trust you." Answered the figure.

"What are we supposed to do ? Fighting a person is one thing, but a water ? And it's not like we can just freeze this thing solid !" Kjelle is getting frustrated.

However that give Lucario an idea. ("Freeze ? Solid ?") Lucario looked at the chaos emerald on Greninja's hand. ("Greninja ! Use the chaos emerald ! Empower yourself and shoot Ice Beam on the waterspout ! Sonic said to use the emerald, it will respond to the user thoughts and emotion.")

Greninja looked at the emerald in it's hand, as it closed it's eyes Greninja pour out it's feelings, especially about wanting to keep Calem safe, soon Greninja feel the emerald power coursing through and begin to glow.

"This is !" The figure is surprised.

Now empowered by the emerald, Greninja use Ice Beam at the sea and the waterspout, it unleashed a huge beam of cold energy, and soon the waterspout is frozen solid.

Everyone is in awe at what just happened.

Meanwhile at the helicopter above Azure Bay...

The camera filmed downward catching Greninja using Chaos Emerald empowered Ice Beam. "This just in ! The waterspout is frozen solid, it seems a Greninja with a powerful Ice Beam has froze the the waterspout singlehandedly ! After all my years of reporting I've never seen a pokemon capable of such feat."

("My turn !") Lucario jumped to the ocean, stepping on the frozen platform created by Greninja's Ice Beam, as Lucario reached the frozen waterspout, Lucario punched it, a crack begin to form and spreading upwards, the frozen waterspout collapse from Lucario's punch as the jackal pokemon run back to the island.

The helicopter fly away from the crumbling waterspout to avoid the ice debris falling near them.

"And now a Lucario has destroyed the waterspout with a single punch, I dont know what kind of training they did, but they save the city !" Alexa speak to the camera.

"Let's get down there, I'd like to interview the people with Greninja and Lucario." Alexa demanded the pilot to fly down.

"Incredible, so this is the power of chaos emerald...if I have it maybe I can...no, I can't disobey my order I don't have a choice by giving it to the higher ups..." The figure seems to feeling conflicted.

Coumarine City

After watching the Holo Caster the Kalosian trainers are speechless.

"What Greninja capable of such feat ?" Shauna can't believe her eyes.

With the waterspout gone, Calem begin to rush to Azure Bay, he command Meowstic to take him there as Meowstic used it's psychic power to levitate itself and Calem and head to Azure Bay.

"Hey Calem !" Serena call out to Calem, but the boy didn't listen as he's completely fixated on seeing Greninja again, Serena frustrated sent out a red bird like pokemon and hop on it to follow after Calem. "Honestly ! Calem ! Talonflame come out, follow Calem !"

Azure Bay

"Hey is someone headed this way ?" Stahl pointed at the incoming Calem and the descending helicopter.

The heroes looked at the direction Stahl pointed and Greninja is surprised.

"Gre gre !" Greninja frantically trying to find it's golden plate, however the figure sees this and grab her own black plate, she emits the teleportation blocker wave, preventing the heroes from escaping.

"What was that ?" Asked Sully.

"I'm...sorry, but I must fulfill my mission, so i can't let you escape." The figure look apologetic now.

"You're a warrior of Fallen Stars aren't you ? Stay still I know a magic spell that can resurrect the dead." Offered Hendrik

"N-no ! Stay away !" The figure used her powers to trapped the heroes in a sandstorm vortex.

Fortunately Alexa's helicopter already landed safely, but as she open the door sands are flying inside, however this doesn't deter Alexa as she insist on getting her story.

"Uugh ! I guess we really can't resurrect them that easy." Sully covering her eyes from the sands.

"Greninja ! Greninja !" Calem has arrived on the island as he shouted Greninja's name.

"Hey ! Leave this place ! It's not safe here !" Shouted Hendrik.

"Calem !" This time Serena arrived in the island, riding her Talonflame. "Geez don't you run off like that !"

"Is that a girl voice ? There's someone else now too !" Exclaimed Kjelle.

"Who ?" Calem and Serena looked at the hooded figure. "Did you do this !? Stop this right now !"

The figure used her magic again, the sands below combined together to form a hand and grabbed Calem.

"Calem !" Shouted Serena as sands are forming around her too.

However Meowstic able to teleport Calem and Serena from being trapped.

"Who is this ? And how did she do this without a pokemon ?" Asked Calem.

"I don't know, but looks like if we don't fight her we're doomed." Replied Serena.

"But this..." Calem look hesitant as he might have to hurt a person with a Pokemon.

"I know the implication, but there's no one here, so we won't be reported to the police." Said Serena.

"Please do not interfere." This time she formed a ball with the sands and send it towards Calem and Serena, but the two dodged and Meowstic teleport itself, and Talonflame flying upward.

Serena commanded Talonflame to use Flame Charge at the figure, Talonflame's body covered in fire and struck the figure, the attack caused Talonflame to gain speed. "I keep her distracted with Talonflame, you deal with that sandstorm."

"Get away from me !" The figure thrusting her palm outward and fire a light energy projectile, however Talonflame is moving at an incredible speed, causing her attacks to miss as Talonflame struck her again with Flame Charge.

The figure, decided to attack Serena directly, but as she about to shoot her magic attack lightning struck her from above.

"Alexa ?" Serena surprised to see Alexa next to her.

"Sorry for butting in, but I need to know what's going on here." Said Alexa as she and Serena face the enemy.

With Serena busy with the enemy Calem do his part and spoke to Meowstic. "Meowstic can you use your full power to stop that sandstorm ?"

Meowstic nodded signalling that it can. "Okay, then do it." By Calem's command Meowstic opened it's ear and unleashed it's full power as it stop the sand vortex and dropped all of the sands to the ground, freeing the heroes in the process.

And at that moment Calem saw Greninja once again.

"Greninja ? Is that really you ?" Calem is in tears, happy that he saw Greninja again. He run and hugged the frog ninja pokemon. "Where have you been !? Do you have any idea how worried I was ! I thought I never see you again !"

Greninja can only looked down, feeling really guilty.

"And thank you Meowstic, none of this possible without you." Meowstic walked to Calem and he hugged both his pokemons.

Calem then noticed the gem in Greninja's hand. "What is this ?" Calem pointed at the chaos emerald.

Being a psychic type, Meowstic able to sense the great power possessed by the emerald.

Hearing this the figure teleprted away from Serena and Alexa and went straight to the heroes.

"The chaos emerald ! We can't let her get it !" Exclaimed Sully.

Meanwhile Talonflame continue using Flame Charge, and now it's speed is unmatchable.

"Ouch, this bird won't stop !" The figure then noticed the sand storm has faded. "The emerald !"

The figure fire a beam of magical energy, but Meowstic quickly grabbed the emerald and telekinetically put it on the course of the beam attack

With the emerald in direct contact with the beam, and despite Meowstic not touching it, it still affected by Meowstic power and the emerald respond to Meowstic, the emerald fire off a beam of energy to halt the enemy attack, the figure increase her output if energy, and so is the emerald, with this massive collision of energy the situations about to reach critical mass and then the collision unleashed a huge explosion of energy, Lucario stand in front of Serena and Alexa and their pokemons and used protect with Grennnja used Mat Block to protect the heroes and Calem.

Once the explosion is over the emerald is nowhere to be found.

"Meowstic get us out of here !" Ordered Calem as Meowstic teleport everyone away from Azure Bay including Alexa's helicopter.

The figure hood is removed from the explosion impact, revealing a girl with wavy long brown hair styled in a ponytail, the girl grabbed her black plate. "Madeleine here, it appears I need backup."

Coumarine City - Hillside

Meowstic teleported everyone to the hillside part of the city.

"Calem !" Yelled Shauna. "What were you thinking recklessly running off like that !"

"Sorry Shauna, I just can't pass this chance." Replied Calem.

"What chance ?" Shauna looked at Greninja. "Greninja ? Is this what you mean ?"

"Yeah, we're finally reunited." Calem petted Greninja's head.

"So who are these people ? And are they all Lucario's trainer ?" Asked Shauna.

"Hey ! You guys !" A voice coming from the direction of the monorail.

"Tierno, Trevor !" Exclaimed Serena as the two boys approached the three.

"How are things at the seaside ?" Asked Shauna.

"When the waterspout suddenly freeze and collapse, there don't seem to be anymore danger so everyone is back to their homes." Explained Tierno.

"Dexio and Sina...I mean Kalos Defender helping the people there, along with Ramos and the gym trainers." Added Trevor.

"Calem ! Serena ! It's good to see you guys again, and you found Greninja as well." Trevor congratulate Calem.

"Yeah, but I found Greninja with these people..." Said Calem.

"They're all wearing armor.." Serena approached Hendrik. "Excuse me ? Are you all related to Wikstrom ?"

"Who ?" Hendrik had no idea who Serena meant, but then he remembered what Blue said earlier. "I mean yes, we are Wikstrom's relatives."

"They don't look anything like Wikstrom." Whispered Trevor.

"May I ask why is my Greninja with you ?" Asked Calem.

("I take it you don't want to be apart from Greninja then ?") Lucario spoke to the Kalos children telepathically.

"A voices in my head !?" Shouted Tierno.

"It's the Lucario ! Lucario can use telepathy to speak with humans." Answered Trevor.

"Yes, when Greninja suddenly vanished I was worried, everyday I search all over Kalos for him, but my search prove fruitless, I even starting to give up and accepting the worst, but Greninja is back now, and I won't lose him again." Hearing all this Greninja is feeling very guilty right now.

("How about it Greninja ? Should we tell Calem about this ? Keep in mind Calem ckuld be exposed to danger, and it's possible now that Calem have faced against our enemy, he could be on their hit list.") Warned Lucario.

Greninja hear what Lucario has to say, but the pokemon nodded, agreeing to tell Calem of what's actually happening.

("Very well then...I could explain everything, but first is there any place we can speak in private ?") Asked Lucario.

"What about Coumarine Hotel ?" Suggested Shauna.

"Well it could work, just rent one room and done." Agreed Trevor.

"Hold on I'm coming with ! After what just happened I knew there's going to be a big scoop !" Exclaimed Alexa.

"Alexa ? Oh right you were reporting the news here aren't you." Said Trevor.

"That's right, something strange is going on and I vow to get to the bottom of this !" Alexa made a promise.

("This isn't good, if the press got wind of our activities, it will be hard to stay off the radar...then again our adventures will be too unbelievable for them to publish either.") Remarked Lucario.

("Lucario what's a press ?") Asked Sully.

("Journalist, people whose job is to search for news and publish it for the public to see.") Answered Lucario.

("If that what it is then, we really have what they're looking for.") Added Stahl.

("Like I said even in this world our adventure is too outlandish for them to publish.") Lucario then turned to Alexa. ("Miss Alexa was it ? Very well you cancome with us, we may need your help after all.")

Agreeing to the idea, the heroes went to Coumarine Hotel.

After paying the fee the heroes entered the room with the corresponding key.

"Alright we're here, so is it that important we have to speak in private ?" Asked Calem.

("I'll let you decide after heating our story...") Lucario told everyone about what really happened.

Needless to say the Kalos trainers are very shocked to hear the story.

"Loss for words huh ? Can't say I don't get it, the same thing happen to our princess ad tactician." Remarked Sully.

"So Greninja was chosen to compete in otherworldly tournament...that's...AWESOME !" Calem bursting with joy. "I know Greninja is strong, but to think he got chosen to participate in otherworldly tournament like that !"

"And that's why he went missing, because you're trying to assemble the tournament participants to combat this evil organization ?" Asked Serena.

("Yeah, we thought that this won't take too long, and yet it does, we're truly sorry about this, Greninja wanted for you to stay safe and not involved in this mess, but it seems that's impossible now.") Lucario bow it's head to apologize.

"Well now that I know Greninja is safe, I don't mind him helping you guys, the universe is at stake right ? If Greninja prove to be a valuable help then I don't mind he continue working with you guys." Calem gave his answer.

"So the four of you really are medieval knights, from another world ?" Asked Trevor.

"That we are, although I came from a different world than these three." Said Hendrik. "And also in my world fight monsters instead of getting along with them."

"We have monsters called Risen in our world, but they're pretty close to zombies, and they are minions to an evil dragon named Grima." Explained Stahl.

"Most monsters in my world are servants of dark lords called Mordegon or Calasmos." Added Hendrik.

"Wow, a world without pokemon, I never imagine such possibility." Said Tierno.

"So that hooded girl we fight earlier, is she your enemy as well ?" Asked Serena.

"We may not know who underneath that hood, but at the very least she is a part of Neo Subspace Army, so yeah she count as our enemy." Answered Sully. "She's the one creating the waterspout in the first place."

"The frozen waterspout was that your doing as well ?" Asked Shauna.

("Yeah, but to freeze a waterspout that big Greninja had to use an object called the chaos emerald to do so.") Explained Lucario.

"Chaos Emerald ?" Questioned Trevor.

"An object of limitless energy, we were told having just one would be enough to receive unrivaled power, well as long as nobody else possess another emerald." Explained Hendrik.

"A powerful object of limitless power, such a thing cannot fall to the wrong hands." Said Trevor.

"Chaos Emerald, is that the gem on Greninjas hand ?" Asked Calem.

("Yeah, Greninja used it to empowered his Ice Beam to freeze the waterspout.") Answered Lucario.

"W-wow, that is...impressive." The Kalos kids reacted in awe.

"So where's the emerald now ?" Asked Shauna.

"We don't know, when the emerald energy collided with the enemy attack it unleashed an explosion and disappeared." Explained Kjelle.

"Wow I have to agree with Lucario, this is too unbelievable, my editor in chief would laugh at me if I were to present this report to him." Alexa can only sighed at the absurdity of what really happened.

"Hey, let us help !" Offered Serena. "We know our way around Kalos, so if the emerald is still here we can help you find it."

"That's a great idea !" The others agreed with Serena.

"Is this okay ? I mean we already have children in the mansion, but..." Stahl sounded concerned.

"Guess we have to say it." Sully then turned to the kids. "Listen up, we have no issues with you wanting to help us, we are in unfamiliar lands, and it is for the best to have the native help us, however there's one thing I want to make clear."

"Our enemies came from many different worlds, and they fight monsters instead of cooperating with them like you did, so there's a strong possibility that they won't play by the rules and law of this world." Added Stahl.

"In other words our enemies won't hesitate to go after you directly, and on the other hand this isn't a pokemon battle either, so you may have to attack the enemy directly either, I was told that using pokemon to harm humans is a crime right ?" Asked Hendrik.

"Well that's true..." Remarked Calem.

("Trust me, it was hard for Red when he was summoned as well, he had to use his pokemon to directly fight the other participants.") Said Lucario.

"Wait ! Red is summoned there as well !" Exclaimed the Kalos kids in unison.

"Oh wait, I suppose that is not a surprise, after all Red is like a living legend." Replied Trevor.

"Even his fame reached to a faraway location." Commented Kjelle.

"We're truly sorry for asking something like this, but this isn't your typical enemy." Hendrik apologized.

The Kalos kids looked at each other and nodded. "We understand, we will do it." Calem agreed.

"Still, this may need time getting used to." Remarked Trevor.

"Well that's all that we tell you, we need to search for the emerald, no doubt the enemy might be searching for it right now." Said Hendrik.

"But where willl you look for it ? We don't know where the emerald is." Stated Shauna.

"Actually there is someone in mind that can help with that." Calem has an idea.

"You don't mean..." Serena seem to have a clue.

"Yes." Calem pull put his Holo Caster and tried to contact someone, however it seems Calem is being contacted first. "There's an incoming call."

As Calem picked up the call a hologram of a woman appeared, she looks quite old and have a strange hairdo.

"Olympia ? Funny I was just about to talk to you." Said Calem.

"Yes, hello Calem, and friends, and our guests from another world." Olympia seems to know about Hendrik and the others.

"She knew we're not from this world ?" Stahl is surprised how Olympia know about this.

"Everyone this is Olympia, she's the gym leader of Anistar City, and one of the most powerful psychics in the world." Serena introduced Olympia to the heroes.

"I have been dreaming, of strange events, one that involves beyond our world, and the appearance of your new friends here have confirmed that Kalos is a part of such event."

"Olympia we need your help, we're looking for an object of great power, do you know where it is ?" Asked Serena. "It looks like a gemstone, blue in color."

"I have seen such a thing in my vision, normally I would rather not tell people of their future, but I can see that this time is a serious situation, the object you're looking for will make an appearance at Lumiose City...and also Prism...Tower...hnngh.." Olympia looked distraught.

"Olympia what's wrong !?" Calem started to worry.

"Don't worry, it's nothing, but I can't see anything further beyond that, its like they're blocking my future vision." Answered Olympia.

"They have gods on the enemy side, they're the ones responsible for that, so that we can't plan ahead." Explained Sully.

"I see, it seems the enemy is nothing like I imagined, alright then, that's all I need to tell you." Olympia ended the communication.

"If Kalos is at stake then please let me help you, I can't just stand by and watch villains wreaking havoc." Alexa offered her assistance.

"Of course, we would gladly accept your help." Smiled Hendrik.

"Lumiose City will be our next stop then." Said Trevor. "Specifically Prism Tower."

"Yeah, we should go there right away, but first we should check out from the hotel first." The heroes left the room and return to the reception desk, they return the key and left the building.

Coumarine City

As the heroes left the hotel Dexio, Sina who remove their disguises and Ramos approached them.

"Dexio, Sina, Ramos, things seems to have been back to normal here." Said Tierno.

"Yep, and we'd like to thank you guys for your help and the Kalos Defender as well." Sina is grinning.

"That said Calem, the moment the waterspout froze you just dashed away without warning, don't be so reckless !" Dexio chastising Calem.

"Yes I learned my lesson, you're the third person to scold me for that already." Calem scratching the back of his head.

"So what are you doing now that crisis here is over ?" Asked Shauna.

"We're thinking of going back to Lumiose City, we are Prof. Sycamore assistants after all, we need to go back to the lab." Answered Dexio.

"Who are the rest you people ? And you're wearing armors ?" Asked Sina.

"We're Wikstrom's relatives." Answered Stahl as he introduced everyone to Sina, Dexio, and Ramos.

"Oh it's nice to meet you all." Smiled Sina. "So there you have it, take care ok Ramos."

"Don't you whippersnappers worry about a thing, this old bones not ready to retire yet, Coumarine City will not fall while I'm still here." Boasted Ramos.

"He sure is a reliable old man." Remarked Hendrik.

"Yeah, more so than Old Hubba." Snarked Sully.

"Now now dear, he's just...who am I kidding, his carelessness did get us into trouble." Stahl inclined to agree in the end. "Giving away the Einherjars to that alternate Aversa like that."

"Well we are about to go to Lumiose City, why don't we go together." Offered Calem.

"Oh wait Alexa, you came here with a helicopter right ?" Asked Serena.

"Yeah, I told them to wait at the hillside, I will be going back with them so you can go ahead, now I just need to wonder how am I going to write this article about the waterspout." Alexa feeling a little stressed as she went back to the hillside.

"If you want to go now i can take us there." Dexio sent out Alakazam. "You sure there's nothing else to do here anymore ?"

"Yes, we're sure." Said Hendrik.

"Okay Alakazam teleport us to Lumiose City." Alakazam did so and the heroes are all teleported away.

"There they go, still that was quite the weird occurrence, I just hope it's not a sign of something bad happening." Ramos beginning to worry as he return to the gym.

Lumiose City - Prof. Sycamore Lab

Alakazam teleported the heroes to Lumiose City, specifically right outside of Prof. Sycamore lab.

"We're here welcome to Lumiose City !" Calem said to the knights.

"Wow this place is..." The medieval knights are in awe and overwhelmed by the size of the city.

"I know it's too late to ask but, are you guys really Wikstrom's relatives ?" Dexio still being skeptical.

"Yes, but they live far away from Kalos." Trevor Interjected. "This is their first time visiting the region."

"That so ? Well we would like to give you a tour, but unfortunately have more work to do." Sighed Dexio.

"That's okay, leave that part to us." Volunteered Calem.

The door to the building opened and a man wearing a blue shirt and white lab coat coming out from it. "I heard noises out here so I came to check it out, alright Dexio, Sina time to go back inside."

"Prof. Sycamore !" Exclaimed Dexio. "Well you heard the man, we'll see you later." Dexio and Sina entered the building.

"Calem, Serena, Tierno, Trevor, Shauna ? Didn't expect to see you guys here too, do you have business with me ?" Asked Sycamore.

"No professor, we're just showing around Lumiose City to Wikstrom's family." Explained Trevor. "Dexio offered to teleport us here."

"Oh so you're all related to Wikstrom, he wasn't kidding about his family being knights." Sycamore bought Trevor's lies.

"This is Prof. Augustine Sycamore, he's the well known professor of Kalos region, he helped us a lot during our journey." Calem introduced the heroes to Prof. Sycamore.

"Nice to meet you sir." Hendrik offered a handshake which Sycamore took.

"Likewise." Sycamore then turn to Serena. "Serena, your mother call me earlier, asking if I seen you around, you shouldn't make her worry so much, you didn't go to Coumarine City did you ?" Prof. Sycamore give Serena a stern gaze.

"Well I have a good reason for that...and by the way professor, haven't you been talking to my mother a lot lately ? I'm getting suspicious you two are more than friends by now." Serena changed the subject and now it's her turn to glare at the professor.

"D-don't be silly, Grace and I are just friends, now if you'll excuse me I have to go back inside, oh and please stay away from dangerous stuff okay." Prof. Sycamore quickly return to his lab.

"Your mom and Prof. Sycamore ?" Asked Shauna.

"Well when we first statt our journey he did give her that perfumed letter." Remembered Tierno.

"Please let's not talk about this." Serena getting uncomfortable about the subject.

"Right, the emerald can be here anytime, we should be prepared." Said Hendrik.

"Which path should we take ? This place is huge, I know i won't exaggerate if I say this place is twice the size of Ylisse." Remarked Kjelle.

"Don't worry, all these paths lead to the tower, now let's go." The Kalos kids guide the heroes to Prism Tower.

"So, never seen buildings like this in your home world ?" Asked Shauna.

"No, the only large building in our world is pretty much just the castle." Answered Stahl.

"Same for mine, Heliodor castle stands above the rest." Addered Hendrik.

"So we were told that this Wikstrom is a strong trainer in this region, can you tell us more about him ?" Asked Kjelle.

"Wikstrom is one of Kalos elite four, one of the strongest trainers in the region, he wears an armor and descended from family of knights." Explained Trevor.

"I see, who would believe a medieval knights from other world would appear here, and from a world without pokemon no less." Said Hendrik. "I admit if I didn't know better I would swing my blade at these pokemons, treating them the same way i would treat monsters in my world."

The heroes looked around to see how humans letting their pokemons out of their pokeballs and saw the relationship between them.

"They look like they all get along so well." Commented Stahl.

"True, if most monsters in my world doesn't follow any dark lord then maybe the same sights can be seen in Erdrea as well." Hendrik agreeing with Stahl.

("Most people treat their pokemons like companions, mistreating your pokemons are frowned upon by society, even counted as breaking the law.") Explained Lucario.

"So is it still far ? As much as I like to train we can't be too tired to take the emerald, our enemy could be here as well." Said Kjelle.

"Yeah, I guess we should speed it up, Meowstic teleport us." Meowstic obeyed Calem and teleported the heroes to Prism Tower directly.

Prism Tower

"Here we are Prism Tower, also doubles as the gym." Explained Calem.

"Seeing it from afar is one thing, but now rather we're right in front of it, it's just...magnificent." Sully looked upwards, awed at the height of the tower.

"The emerald could appear around here any moment, try to be vigilant." Said Hendrik.

"But there are many people here, won't they got caught in this mess should the emerald appear ?" Asked Trevor.

"Sorry Meowstic, but I need your help again, can you mind control everyone to leave the tower premises, with your full power mass mind control should be possible." Meowstic obeyed Calem as it uses it's power to perform mass mind control, telling them to stay away from the tower premises.

One by one humans and pokemons alike begin to leave the tower premises, leaving only the heroes and the Kalos kids remaining.

"These should clear the premises, now no one will be caught in our mess." Said Calem.

"Hey look over there !" Serena point upwards to see a helicopter flying above.

"That's Alexa's helicopter, guess she's back here now." Remarked Calem.

"...mom, dad, do you think owning a pokemon will bolster our strength ?" Asked Kjelle.

"I've been thinking the same thing to be honest, they have the abilities that we humans don't have." Replied Stahl.

"It's still something we need too discuss with the others." Added Sully.

Just then, a distortion appeared above the heroes as the emerald finally show itself.

"It finally showed up ! Go Talonflame !" Serena Commanded Talonflame to retrieve the Emerald, however as Talonflame gets close, it got shot by a beam attack, while Talonflame able to recover quickly the attack still hurts it.

The figure from earlier showed up, she fly above the heroes.

"You again ! I knew you're still here !" Exclaimed Kjelle.

"The emerald still here, so my mission isn't over yet." Replied Madeleine, she then proceed to grab the emerald.

"Who are you really ?" Asked Sully.

"Who I am is not important, what matter is I will not let anyone get their hands on the emerald..." Madeleine noticed something weird about the emerald. "What the ?" Panicked Madeleone threw the emerald away

The emerald then unleashed a burst of energy, the heroes and Madeleine tried to shield themselves, luckily the heroes seemed unharmed, but it seems the building locations of Lumiose City have been rearranged.

The heroes looked at themselves to see nothing is wrong with them. "I don't feel any different, what about all of you ?" Asked Sully.

The others responded the same.

("Although...") Lucario pointed at Lumiose Tower to see it moved further to the left.

"Didn't the tower getting further away from us ?" Questioned Stahl.

"Hey the path behind us is gone !" Exclaimed Shauna.

("It seems the city's geography have been rearranged.") Said Lucario.

"So something like this is within the emeralds capabilities, all the more reason to have it." Madeleine used her magic to pull the emerald to her.

"Oh no you don't !" Sully conjure a javelin from her golden plate and threw it at Madeleine, however a black lightning destroys the javelin.

"What the !" Exclaimed Sully.

("There's someone else here !") Exclaimed Lucario as it pointed to the figure standing under Madeleine.

"Great, it looks like she calls for backup." Complained Kjelle.

"Meowstic ! Don't let her get the emerald !" Commanded Calem as Meowstic uses ii's telekinesis to pull the emerald away from Madeleine.

"Hey !" upset for being interrupted as she and Meowstic is stuck in a psychic tug of war for the emerald.

"Nows our chance !" Said Tierno as he sents out Talonflame, Trevor and Shauna follow suit, sending out Aerodactyl and Chesnaught.

They all attempt to attack Madeleine, however the sorceress cast a barrier around herself.

The figure below charged towards the heroes and pull out two swords for each hand, and about to strike at the heroes, but Stahl blocked it with his spear, Sully and Kjelle move in tandem to attack the figure, but he managed to dodged the incoming attack.

Hendrik follow up the attack as swing his greatsword, but the figure teleported away, and retaliate using a black lightning, blasting Hendrik down.

"Hendrik you okay ?" Asked Sully.

"I'm fine." Hendrik then stand up.

"That attack, is the same one that destroy mom's javelin." Said Kjelle.

The figure flew towards the heroes at high speed, and attempt to strike them with his sword, but Hendrik intercept, and begin fighting back, both clashed swords over and over again with either side refused to back down.

Everyone else is in awe looking at the clash between the two.

Hendrik and the enemy then caught in blade lock once more.

"I won't let you get near them !" Hendrik then spoke in calmer tone. "You may have learn new tricks, but I can still recognize your swordmanship style...Jasper."

The figure got surprised and backed away, he removed his hood to reveal a handsome young man with blonde hair styled in a long ponytail.

"Hendrik ? You know him ?" Asked Stahl.

"Yes, his name is Jasper, he was my best friend, the two of us are known as the Twin Eagles of Heliodor." Answered Hendrik.

"I guess i shouldn't be surprised you caught on to me sooner or later." Remarked Jasper.

"Jasper, I won't make the same mistakes I did before, this time I will free you from their clutches ! I swear it !" Declared Hendrik.

"Big words, but this isn't like when serving Mordegon." Replied Jasper.

"I know, I don't care how many obstacles we have to mow down, we will succeed !" Exclaimed Hendrik.

"I suppose if it's you, it's not impossible." Jasper let's out a smile, believing in his friend.

"Better yet I can free you from now !" Hendrik about to cast Kazing spell however.

"Y-you idiot !" Jasper body moves on his own and Madeleine actually stop fighting for the emerald as she teleport to Jasper side and its her magic creating a barrage of orbs made out if darkness at the heroes. Lucario stepped in and used Protect.

"I'm sure you know this already ! But we were ordered to fight any resurrection attempt at all cost !" Yelled Jasper.

"Hendrik ! Not again, stop provoking the enemy !" The others complained Hendrik making the same mistake twice.

"Sorry, but know this Jasper I will set you free." Promised Hendrik.

"Jasper, the emerald...i let it go." Madeleine apologized for her mistake.

"No choice, preventing resurrection is our most important order after all." Replied Jasper.

"Hey ! We got the emerald !" Exclaimed Tierno.

The heroes looked relieved as victory seems to be on their side, however hearing this Jasper snapped his finger and opened a portal, and from the portal monsters coming out from it.

"Sorry Hendrik, but I'm still belong with Neo Subspace Army, and we have to do our mission, that's our order." Said Jasper.

"T-those are !" Exclaimed Kjelle.

"Monsters, beings who served Mordegon." Answered Hendrik.

"So we finally come face to face with them after all." Remarked Sully.

"Look at how many of them, there's no way we can succeed, and more keep on coming !" Pointed out Stahl.

"Give us the emerald, or we have no choice but to let the monsters run amok and overrun the city." Threatened Jasper.

Greninja run towards the horde of monsters.

"Greninja !" Calem call out to his pokemon.

Greninja stopped and used Surf, summoning a large wave and drowned the monsters.

("Give me the emerald !") Said Lucario as Tierno toss the emerald to Lucario, the jackal pokemon harness the emerald power and perform mega evolution.

"Lucario is mega evolving ! Without a human partner !" The Kalos kids is in shock at seeing Lucario mega evolved by itself.

Lucario toss the emerald to Calem as it goes on the offensive as well.

Lucario confronted by three Coralossus, but Lucario easily shattered their rock solid bodies, killing them as they dissipated.

Thanks to Greninja surf earlier, most of the monster horde are washed away by the large wave, however naturally it doesn't affect the flying monsters and the aquatic ones.

Two Hades Condors swoop in to attack Greninja, the pokemon able to dodge the first condor, however Greninja got hit by the second one, but it turns out to be a Substitute as Greninja leaped behind the Hades Condor and use Ice Beam, the Hades Condor fall down and shattered.

The second condor dive to attack Greninja, but the pokemon used Smokescreen to blindside it, as the Hades Condor can't see anything Greninja slashed it's throat, killing the monster.

Lucario surrounded by 9 Khalamari Kids, but Lucario make a short work of then by using Aura Storm, killing all of them at once.

A few horde rushed to attack Greninja and Lucario, mostly composed by flying and aquatic monsters, such as Coralossus, Nagasus, Octopot, Sail Serpents, Pteranodon, Shell Slime, Chimaera, Man o War, and Mecha-mynah.

Greninja used Smokescreen again to obscure their vision, while Lucario use Extremespeed to beat them to a pulp, Lucario hit them so hard the attacks pretry much killing them as they all dissipated.

And now a Pruslas came to face the two Pokemon, it raised its club to do an overhead strike at Lucario only for the pokemon to catch the attack.

Greninja attacked from behind to freeze Pruslas back using Ice Beam. Pruslas turned around in pain as Lucario parry the club and punch the monster stomach, despite it large size Lucario able to dish our painful punch as the monster fell. Pruslas looked upward to see Greninja charging Water Shuriken, and threw a large one aimed at its neck, beheading the Pruslas and killing it.

"Wow, look at them go." Stahl is impressed by Lucario and Greninja power and teamwork.

"Listen up ! Humans can overcome these monsters, Erven and I have slain many of them during our travel !" Hendrik then confronted by a Stone Golem.

As the Golem about to punch Hendrik, Hendrik use Forbearance, allowing him to resist physical pain, even when done by a rock monster.

Hendrik the use Helichopper, as he swing his sword in 360 degree and shattered the Stone Golem. "That should do it."

Seeing Hendrik able to fell a monster Stahl, Sully, and Kjelle felt motivated as they ready for a fight, Stahl is confronted by three Succubats.

"Succubats ! Stahl get away from them !" Hendrik rushed to Stahl's side but it's too late as the monster cast puff puff on them, making the two men mesmerized.

"What the ! Stahl ! Stahl !" Sully shook her husband to no avail. "Okay you whore, you will not get mercy from me !" Sully and Kjelle really did show no mercy on the Succubats as both mother and daughter violently stabbing and slashed them to pieces.

"They're dead, but ..." The Succubats already killed, but Stahl and Hendrik still in a trance, Sully just slapped Stahl and Hendrik to get them out of their trance.

"Huh ? What happened, and ow, my cheeks hurt." Stahl rubbing his cheek. "Sully ?" Stahl is confused by Sully's glare.

"Look Stahl, Succubats aren't for men to deal with, they have the power to charm men." Explained Hendrik who is also rubbing his cheek.

"I forgive you, we have more important things to deal with right now." Sully ready for another fight.

Lucario and Greninja have taken out a Spitzfire. However another one strike at the two Pokemons, Lucario and Greninja dodged the attack as the beast slammed the ground with its claws. Greninja use Ice Beam on Spitzfire wings, preventing it from flying, while Lucario grabbed its tail, and spin the Spitzfire around and threw them at the incoming horde, Lucario use Focus Blast and shot it at the Spitzfire, destroying it and the hordes.

The Kalos kids is at awe at seeing Lucario and Greninja.

"Calem, your Greninja..." Remarked Serena.

"So this is the strength he accumulated in that tournament." Calem doesn't know how to react.

"Greninja, Lucario, and the knights maybe able to keep the monster at bay, but those monsters keep on coming." Said Shauna.

"You guys !" Calem turned to his friends. "I'm going to use the emerald to close the portal, all of you defeat the remaining monsters."

The Kalos kids nodded as they all begin to take action as well.

Calem pointed the emerald at the gate, the emerald respond to his wish as it shoot a beam and hit the portal, closing it.

Seeing this Jasper snapped his finger again to open another portal.

Tierno and Serena's Talonflames and Trevor's Aerodactyl fighting the airborne monsters such as Hades Condors, Chimaeras, Pteranodons.

By using Flame Charge repeatedly, the Talonflames able to outspeed the flying monsters, with both Talonflames struck the monsters with Steel Wings. Aerodactyl continue the assault by using Stone Edge.

A Jockules run towards the Kalos kids and about to crush them with its feet, however Chesnaught stepped in and used Spiky Shield, Jockules stepped on the sharp shield and jumping in pain.

"I had an idea, Meowstic ! Brainwash him !" Calem issue an order which Meowstic follow, Meowstic fly to Jockules head and mind controlling the monster, telling it to attack it's comrades.

And right now Calem and Jasper are opening and closing portals, Jasper open a portal while Calem keep closing it, and they've been at it back and forth.

Madeleine fly towards the Kalos kids as she conjure light orbs and shoot it like projectiles, the Kalos kids scattered from the attack as Calem dropped the emerald.

Madeleine used telekinesis to pull the emerald to her while Meowstic also used telekinesis to pull it away from Madeleine.

"This again !?" Complained Madeleine as she got stuck in another psychic tug of war.

Jasper then looked at Meowstic. "For something so small it hide quite the power." Jasper cast Fizzle at Meowstic, temporarily sealing its psychic power.

Now with no more interruption Madeleine finally able to get the emerald.

"I got it !" Exclaimed Madeleine, however her victory doesn't last long as Serena and Tierno's Talonflame target her next and attack her from both left and right with Steel Wings, forcing her to drop the emerald.

Jasper noticed the heroes making progress in killing Mordegon servants, Hendrik and Sully just finished off 4 Stark Ravens, while Stahl and Kjelle just have just eliminated a Jargon.

And now Jockules is still rampaging against it's allies.

"Meowstic what happened ? You can't use your powers ? Alright take a break for now." Calem put Meowstic back to his pokeball, now he sent out Absol.

Jasper cast Silverspark at the Jockules, killing it, and with the Jockules gone the monsters can focus to fight the heroes again.

"Not so fast, Aurorus !" Trevor sent out Aurorus to fight now. "Use Blizzard !" Aurorus summon a violent snowstorm and froze the monster horde, and at the same time made his friends and allies shivers from the cold.

Calem and Serena riding on Absol to get the emerald however...

"Stop !" Shouted Jasper. "Let us take the emerald or I will open another portal."

"We can always close it again with the emerald." Serena not afraid of Jasper's threat.

As Jasper about to snap his finger anyway, Hendrik change in and strike Jasper with his sword, only for Madeleine to cast a barrier to protect Jasper.

"I can't let you do this !" Exclaimed Hendrik.

"And I have no choice." Jasper jumped backward, but before he snapped his finger, the Prism Tower door opened.

Two kids coming out from the tower, one is a girl with blonde hair, and the other is a boy with blonde hair, he wear glasses, and dressed like a repairman and carrying a bagpack.

"We've been hearing fighting from inside, the Tower's power gone haywire, what's going on here ?" Asked the boy.

"Clemont ! Bonnie ! Get back inside, it's not safe here !" Shouted Calem.

"Calem ?" Clemont look confused.

Seizing this chance Jasper quickly rushed to Clemont, he pushed Clemont down and abduct Bonnie.

"Clemont ! Help !" Bonnie cried for help.

"Owch !" Clemont got up and looked at Jasper who held Bonnie hostage. "Hey ! Give me back my sister !"

"No sudden movement ! Just let us have the emerald and this girl is free." Said Jasper.

Madeleine approached the emerald and picked it up, she then fly to Jasper, however what Jasper doesn't notice is Greninja is using Shadow Sneak to melt with the shadows and hide on Madeleine's shadow.

As promised Jasper let Bonnie go, and she run back to Clemont.

With Bonnie safe Greninja emerged from the shadows and slashed both Jasper and Madeleine, forcing her to drop the emerald, Lucario used Extremespeed to snatch the emerald back from them.

"It seems we can't let our guard down with them." Jasper getting up again.

"These pokemon creatures..." Remarked Madeleine.

"They're nothing like monsters in my world." Jasper then snapped his finger, this time multiple portals opened all around Lumiose City. "Give us the emerald and I will closed all this portals immediately, or this city will be overrun by Mordegon servants."

"Hey Calem what's going on here ?" Asked Clemont. "And are those pokemons ? I've never seen that kind before."

"It's very difficult to explain, and no, those aren't pokemons, they're monsters from another world, they're evil and must be destroyed." Answered Calem. Calem then mega evolve Absol to help fight the monsters.

Serena sent out Delphox. "Delphox help me out here." Serena borrow Delphox power to speak telepathically, she reached out to Dexio.

Prof. Sycamore Lab

"So somehow the lab is moved to the North Boulevard and right next to Hotel Richissime ?" Asked Prof. Sycamore.

"Things are rather chaotic outside, people getting lost, separated, and so on, Emma and Sina is currently dealing with the people so we can at least expect them to calm down a bit." Said Dexio.

Sina then return to the lab. "I'm back."

"Welcome back Sina, how are we things ?" Asked Sycamore.

"Not good, there's only so much we can do, Emma and her delinquent buddies are helping people right now, but we need to get things fixed soon." Answered Sina.

"Well we...huh ?" Dexio receive incoming telepathic message.

("Dexio it's Serena, we need your help, Lumiose City is about to be overrun by monsters from another world, we have to stop them.")

"Wait Serena what do you mean monsters from another world !?" Dexio demand more explanation.

("Look outside, and no need to be merciful, they must be destroyed.")

"Dexio what happened ?" Asked Sycamore.

"Serena contacted me telepathically, she said Lumiose Cty is overrun by monsters." Explained Dexio.

"We should take a look." Prof. Sycamore and his two assistants leave the lab and head outside.

Lumiose City

Once outside the three of them saw a portal scattered above Lumiose City.

"What are those things ?" Sina looking at the portals above.

Monsters then begin coming out from the portal, creating mass panic in the city.

"Is this what Serena told me ? That's right !" Dexio sent out Alakazam. "Professor ! Use Alakazam psychic power to talk to everyone in the city !"

"Alright." Prof. Sycamore touched Alakazam as the pokemon broadcast Sycamore's thoughts to the city.

("People of Lumiose City, i know something starnge us happeng to our city, and also our city is facing an unknown threat, please found someplace safe to hide, and for pokemon trainers, if possible we would like your assistance in fending off these monster hordes.")

While Prof. Sycamore is still talking three Cruelcumbers are heading their way, Sina sent out Glaceon to fight them. "Glaceon Ice Beam !" Glaceon freeze the three Cruelcumbers, and followed by Shadow Ball, destroying the monsters as they dissipates.

"They're dissipating ?" Dexio looked confused.

"Whatever these things are, we can't let them threatened our city." Prof Sycamore done talking to the people as he pulled out a pokeball and sent out Venusaur.

Sycamore then mega evolve Venusaur into Mega Venusaur, Sycamore Commanded Mega Venusaur to use Solarbeam, and Mega Venusaur gathered sunlight on the flower on its back.

With more monster horde is coming Dexio mega evolved his Alakazam into Mega Alakazam, Sina sent out Abomasnow and mega evolve it into Mega Abomasnow.

"They may not be pokemon, but if our pokemon can mega evolve that means this still count as a battle." Said Dexio.

Mega Alakazam used telekinesis to lift all the monsters in the vicinity to the sky, Mega Abomasnow used Blizzard to freeze the monsters, while Mega Venusaur finally unleashed Solarbeam, destroying the monsters, so far the monsters destroyed are Hammerhood, Bubble Slime, Healslime, Dragon Rider, Slimeknight, Platypunk, Dracky, Hunter Mech, Drake Slime, and Weartiger.

"Dexio, Sina let's split up and protect the city, but be careful, we're dealing with unknown threats." Suggested Sycamore.

"Of course Professor." Dexio and Sina put on their mask once again. "Defender of Kalos reporting for duty !"

Sycamore and his assistants have now split up to protect Lumiose City.

Elsewhere in Lumiose City...

"What happened here ?" Alexa left her office building to see Lumiose Press is now located in a back alley.

She then noticed monster hordes marching through the streets, a Slime Knight, 5 Drake Slimes, 3 Hammerhoods, 4 Grublin, and 2 Morphean Mushrooms noticed Alexa and begin moving towards her.

"If you think I'm cornered you're wrong !" Alexa sent out Noivern. "Noivern use Boomburst !"

Noivern unleash a devastating sound blast that pretty much killed all the monsters after her.

"Noivern I need to check on the city, give me a ride." Alexa hopped on Noivern's back as she fly above the city.

A figure wearing a suit that cover the entire body is jumping from roof to roof, scouting the location and helping people along the way.

"That should do it, I hope things go back to normal soon." The figure remove the helmet part of the suit, revealing a girl in a messy hair.

"Emma !" A delinquent call out to her.

"What is it ?" Emma jumped down from the roof safely.

"We just reunite a boy with his Littleo, this should give him comfort at least."

Unfortunately a scream is heard right now.

"I'll go take a look at that !" Emma activate her suit helmet again and jumped to the roof while the delinquent nodded.

Emma saw a woman being chased by a horde of monsters, consists of a Cactiball, Gnawchid, Flython, Prestigitator, Mud Marionette, Toady, and Lips, led by a Green Dragon.

"So these are the monsters from other world that Prof. Sycamore said...destroy them huh ? The safety of the people and Pokemon have to come first." Emma sent out Jellicent and Whimsicott.

Green Dragon unleashed it's fire breath,

Emma command Jellicent to use Hydro Pump and douse the Green Dragon fire breath. And then order Whimsicott to use Moonblast at the dragon, luckily the type matchup is still applicable as the Green Dragon took massive damage from the fairy type attack, the impact sent the dragon crashing to a nearby wall.

Whimsicott shoot another Moonblast and this time killing the Green Dragon.

Prism Tower

The battle outside Prism Tower still rages on with Clemont still trying to process things, however he now know what he must do.

"Bonnie, get back inside, as the gym leader I must protect this city." Said Clemont.

"What will you do ? Assist Calem or dealing with the monsters around the city ?" Asked Bonnie.

"Well that's..." Clemont is at loss for words.

"I have an idea." Bonnie opened Clemont's bagpack and grabbed the Rain Dance TM. "Dedenne, come out." A small rodent like pokemon come out from Bonnie's pocket.

Bonnie put the Rain Dance TM on Dedenne head and the pokemon absorb the knowledge, now Dedenne able to use Rain Dance.

"Rain Dance ? Of course ! I should've thought of that !" Exclaimed Clemont.

"Heehee, I'm glad I can help." Bonnie grinning with pride. "Dedenne use Rain Dance !"

Dedenne obeyed Bonnie as the skies turned Grey, dark clouds formed above Lumiose City and rain started to pour.

"Your turn Magnezone." Clemont sent out Magnezone. "Magnezone fly above the city, and use Thunder on all of the monster horde you've seen." Instructed Clemont as Magnezone fly upward.

"It's raining ?" Jasper surprised by the change in weather, soon a powerful lightning struck down the monster horde, killing many of them, Clemont ready to fight with Heliolisk on his side.

"Heliolisk destroy those monster hordes !" Heliolisk obey Clemont's order and just like Magnezone Heliolisk use Thunder repeatedly, raining down powerful lightning against the monster hordes, killing many of them.

"Rain ? Wait this is perfect !" Exclaimed Emma.

The monster horde noticed Emma as the one responsible for killing the Green Dragon, and now they're coming after her, but she won't go down without a fight as she ordered Whimsicott to use Hurricane.

Whimsicott did exactly that and trapped the monsters inside a Hurricane and wiped out the horde, Jellicent finished the remaining monsters by draining their life energy, killing the rest of the horde.

And soon lightning strikes can be seen and heard around the city, destroying the monster hordes.

"Clemont ?" Questioned Calem.

"My Magnezone responsible for those lightning strikes, your monster hordes aren't safe anywhere in this city." Clemont Boasted to Jasper and Madeleine.

As victory seems to be on the heroes side, there's another figure on the roof. "You seemed to be quite in a pickle."

Both the heroes and villains looked the direction of the voice and they saw a man with wild red hair that resemble a lion's mane wearing a fancy business suit.

"Lysandre !" Exclaimed the Kalos kids, not expecting to see him here.

"Lysandre, didn't you say you're unable to make it here ?" Asked Jasper.

"I'm done with my business, and since I've heard you're not done yet with yours I decided to lend a hand." Lysandre seemed to want to help Jasper.

"You know this man ?" Asked Hendrik.

"Yeah, this is Lysandre, he's the leader of Team Flare, he once tried to activate a weapon of mass destruction on all of Kalos." Answered Serena.

"Lysandre, you're joining forces with them !?" Asked Calem.

"Let's just say Neo Subspace Army and Team Flare have the same goal, which is why I decided to cooperate." Answered Lysandre. "Sorry, children, but the emerald is coming with us."

Lysandre sent out Gyarados to fight, Lysandre waste no time to mega evolve his Gyarados. "Gyarados ! Earthquake !" Mega Gyarados pounding the ground so hard it causing tremors, making everyone lose their balance as Lysandre sent out Honchkrow, he ride on Honchkrow and swipe the emerald from the ground.

Aerodactyl and the Talonflames begin attacking Mega Gyarados, but Mega Gyarados stopped using Earthquake and used Aqua Tail, the aquatic energy knocked both Talonflames and Aerodactyl, as fire and rock type weak to water.

With the emerald in Lysandre's hand, he grabbed the black plate to retreat, however the emerald suddenly begin to move and float away, as Lysandre tried to keep the emerald from escaping he was hit by a telekinetic hit, turns out Olympia has arrived, she float above the heroes and villains and pull the emerald to her.

"I cannot let you have this, this object is too powerful for you to handle." Said Olympia.

Jasper throw a javelin made of darkness at Olympia only for her to block the attack with a psychic barrier.

The emerald suddenly begin to move again, apparently responding to many people's thoughts ends up confusing the emerald it just disappeared once again, at the same time Rain Dance effect has worn off.

"The emerald is gone." Stated Madeleine.

"Then there's no need to stay here longer." Jasper used his magic to telepathically command the monster to return to the portal, once they all back, Jasper snapped his finger and closed all of the portals.

Madeleine then teleported the three of them away.

"Olympia, thank you for saving us." Calem thanked the gym leader.

"Sorry I'm late, I wanted to see the strength of our enemy before facing them." Explained Olympia.

"So you must be the guest from another world, it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance." Olympia greeted the heroes.

"Olympia, do you know where the emerald will shown up next ?" Asked Calem.

"Yes, it will be at Pokemon Village, but that's all i can discern." Answered Olympia.

"Everyone !" Alexa arrived to where the heroes are riding her Noivern. "Somethings wrong, it seems the geography of the city have been jumbled up.

"We know, this is the Chaos Emerald doing." Answered Trevor.

Next Emma arrived with Sycamore and the Kalos Defenders.

"Calem ! Serena ! Are you ok ? I received broadcast about monsters running amok at the city." Said Emma.

"Yeah, I told Dexio to do that, there's no time to explain so I speak abruptly." Explained Serena.

"We managed to fend them off, and many trainers in Kalos lend their strength to fend off the monsters invading our city." Sycamore revealed many pokemon trainers fight to defend Lumiose City. "But what happened ? What caused all this ?"

Alexa looked at the heroes.

"They're pretty much involved anyway, so go ahead." Hendrik give his approval.

"Professor there's something I need to tell you, what I'm saying might be farfetched, but please listen to me." Alexa going to reveal what the heroes told her earlier at the hotel.

"If you'd like we can talk inside my gym, Calem do you know what's going on and who's that guy threatening my sister ?" Asked Clemont.

"I don't know much myself, but Alexa can tell you the gist of it, we need to go somewhere else." Said Calem.

"What about the city ? Are we leaving Lumiose City like this ?" Asked Trevor.

"Do not worry, I will return Lumiose City to once it was." Olympia exert her psychic power to the point it bend space, Olympia then fixed Lumiose City and return it to the state before the emerald rearranged it. "All done."

While the city is fixed Olympia exert a lot of her power to do so, especially a city as big as Lumiose City, making her tired.

"Hey my gym it's back at the middle again !" Exclaimed Clemont. "Thank you Olympia!"

"You're welcome Clemont, although I'm afraid I used too much power to fix this city." Olympia down on one knee for exerting too much power.

"I'll make sure to inform everyone whats going on, you can leave Lumiose City to us." Alexa and the others head inside Lumiose gym.

"Well problem here is solved, now then the village is next." The heroes now know their next destination, after the Kalos Kids put their pokemons back inside the pokeballs Calem Asked Meowstic to teleport them to Pokemon Village.

Somewhere in Kalos

Madeleine teleported herself, Jasper, and Lysandre to an unknown location.

"We should be safe here for now." Madeleine then looked at Jasper. "Jasper ?"

"These Pokemons..they just wipe out Mordegon's army with ease." Remarked Jasper.

"I guess those otherworldly monsters aren't anything to write home about." Lysandre scoffed at Erdrea monsters.

"They outright manipulate the weather Lysandre, I don't know how many monsters in my world could do that." Replied Jasper.

"Such a feat are mere child's play for a Pokemon...anyway I will take my leave now." Lysandre decided to left the two. "There's something I need to confirm."

"You're leaving us ?" Asked Madeleine.

"I'm only here because of my interest with the emerald, I still want it, but I have other matters to attend to...although a bit of advice, it's best to deal pokemon with another pokemon, all these monsters from other worlds, turns out they're no match." Lysandre adviced his colleagues.

"Fight pokemon with pokemon huh ?" Pondered Jasper. "Then we should deploy those two."

"Yes, those two are formidable trainers, and also I think it's best to send someone new, the enemy beginning to be familiar with you two." Continued Lysandre. "Anyway now that I think about it you two come with me there's something I'd like to show you and our colleagues." Lysandre used his black plate to teleport himself, Jasper, and Madeleine to another location.

Pokemon Village

The heroes arrived a remote place called Pokemon Village, it's hidden and a place most people had no idea exist, so much so that most people believe this location is just a myth or fairy tale.

"Here we are Pokemon Village, this place is secret so please don't tell anyone, this is a place where pokemon choose to live away from humans for...various reasons." Explained Calem.

"We won't tell a soul." Vowed Hendrik.

And as they noticed, the pokemons quickly run and hide seeing the heroes arrived.

"You're right, they seem wary of us." Remarked Stahl.

"We won't be here long, we just took the emerald and leave, so Olympia, where is it ?" Asked Serena.

"The emerald will appear on the cave over there." Olympia pointed at the cave in the village.

"That cave...where I meet Mewtwo." Said Serena.

"So Mewtwo used to live here ?" Asked Sully.

"You know Mewtwo ?" Asked Serena.

"Yeah, it live in the mansion with us." Answered Sully.

"I-I see, that's good to know." Replied Serena.

"I hope it hurry up and appear, the sooner we got it the sooner we can leave, I don't want to expose the pokemons living here to the enemies." Said Shauna.

("It's said the emerald can respond to people thoughts and feelings, maybe if we all wished for it to appear here, it will show itself.") Suggested Lucario.

"Okay let's try that, everyone wish for the emerald to appear here !" Everyone close their eyes and wish from the bottom of their hearts for the emerald appearance.

Soon their wish is fulfilled as the emerald appear in the cave.

"Got it ! Now we just...hey doesn't it felt cold in here ?" Asked Serena.

"Y-yeah, could it be the cold air from Snowbelle City ?" Calem begin to shiver.

But the air is getting colder and colder, so cold that snow begin entered the cave carried by the wind. "T-this is no ordinary cold air, and snows are coming in !" Shouted Shauna as she's also shivers from the cold.

"I sense a powerful presence outside, that must be the cause of this." Said Olympia as the heroes left the cave.

The heroes got out from the cave to see the Pokémon Village has been covered in snow and all the pokemons are frozen.

"What happened here ! Did an Ice type Pokémon went on a rampage !?" Questioned Tierno.

"No, the presence isn't from a pokemon, it's something unfamiliar to me." Said Olympia. "I can tell you're here, show yourself !"

Several snowflakes fly and converge in one location and swirl together, a light formed in the middle and a female figure is formed, she is a woman with a tied wavy hair, wearing a light blue bodysuit and cape, she also possess purple skin.

"Krystalinda !" Shouted Hendrik.

"Another friend of yours ?" Snarked Sully.

"Y-yeah..." Hendrik Answered meekly.

"*sigh* hello Hendrik, let's just get this over with." Krystalinda materialize her staff and take a fighting stance. She started by enveloping the Pokémon Village with a mist.

Snowbelle City

Near the Pokemon Village lies a city called Snowbelle City, this is where the the final gym challenge usually held, an the leader of the gym is an old man with large gut wearing blue jacket.

The man just finished battling a trainer wanting to get a badge, so he take a break and walked outside.

One of the people at the city then run to the old man. "Wulfric there's a strange fog coming out from Winding Woods ! It's causing the pokemons to be restless."

"The woods you say ?" Wulfric looked at the fog surrounding the woods. ("That location, something happened at Pokemon Village, I need to do something about it..") Wulfric fearing the worst head to the forest.

Pokemon Village

"Don't think a little cold will slow us down !" Sully charged in to attack Krystalinda only for something about to hit Sully, she noticed and blocked what ever it is with her spear as she got knocked back.

"Sully !" You okay ? Stahl caught his wife.

"Y-yeah, thanks." Replied Sully. "But that projectile..i feel like i've seen it before."

"There's another presence here !" Exclaimed Olympia as Krystalinda quickly froze her.

"Olympia !" Exclaimed everyone.

("Quick ! Does anyone have a pokemon that knows Safeguard !") Signaled Lucario.

Serena sent out Florges. "Florges ! Safeguard !" Florges obeyed as it covered everyone in a mystical veil, the Safeguard also protect the heroes from the cold.

The other figure steppes oit from the mist and it's none other than Yen'fay.

"Yen'fay ! I knew there's something familiar about that projectile." Remarked Sully. "That was your sword Amatsu."

"Chrom's knights...is my sister with you ?" Asked Yen'fay.

"No, Say'ri doesn't take part on this mission." Answered Stahl.

"I see, that's good..." Yen'fay unseathed his dual sword. "Even so i'm truly sorry about this..."

"Yeah, yeah we heard enough of that already, just stay put okay we will safe you and reunite you back with your sister." Replied Sully.

"Somehow I want to believe that." Said Yen'fay as he ready to fight.

Krystalinda shoot a barrage of icicles from her staff as Hendrik cast Magic Barrier and used his sword to defend against the icicles.

Yen'fay also goes on the offensive as he face Sully and Stahl, Yen'fay swing his sword as Sully and Stahl keep blocking his attack.

"Serena." Calem looked at Serena and she realize what Calem meant, she sent out Delphox. "Delphox ! Heat Wave !"

Delphox about to execute that move until an arrow struck Delphox on the back, causing Delphox fell on it's knee.

"Delphox ! What happened !" Serena tend to her pokemon.

"Did someone attack us from behind ?" Trevor looked around.

"Lucario did you sense anyone ?" Asked Calem.

("I don't know...I can't seem too...this mist ! It must've interfere with my aura senses ! Cover me !") Lucario begin to concentrate while Greninja set up Mat Block.

Lucario tried to concentrate despite the cold, and then Lucario find it's target, Lucario shot two Aura Sphere at the target.

The Aura Spheres managed to struck their targets, forcing them to reveal themselves, as they got closer Calem and Serena finally able to make out their face and they're shock to see who it is.

"Elio !? Selene !?" Exclaimed both Calem and Serena.

Elio and Selene stands with Decidueye who belongs to Selene.

"Are you two with them !?" Shauna pointed at Krystalinda and Yen'fay.

Elio and Selene didn't answer as she command Decidueye to use another Spirit Shackle, Lucario tried to intercept, however Elio send out Crabominable and use Ice Hammer on Lucario.

Selene decided to return Decidueye to her pokeball and send out Alolan Ninetales this time.

Alolan Ninetales Snow Cloak ability activated as mists forms around it and increasing it's evasion.

"Ninetales, Aurora Veil." Selene command in flat tone as if she had no emotions.

Alolan Ninetales obeyed as it use Aurora Veil, creating a barrier made from Aurora to shield itself and allies, and by allies Yen'fay and Krystalinda is protected as well.

Lucario is protected from Crabominable's attack thanks to Greninja Mat Block, however Elio doesn't waste time as he sent out Solgaleo, Elio hopped on Solgaleo and Solgaleo used Metal Claw on the Kalos kids, forcing them to scatter.

Seeing Delphox still hurt from Decidueye Spirit Shackle Elio point Solgaleo at Delphox, Solgaleo about to use Crunch on Delphox, but Serena command Florges to use Petal Blizzard mostly to distract Solgaleo.

Solgaleo backed off as Crabominable used Ice Hammer at Florges. Florges got hit and fell down, Now Solgaleo about to use Crunch again on Delphox, but this time Lucario using Brick Break on Crabominable, after shattering the Aurora Veil it punched Crabominable so hard it crashed to Solgaleo, causing them and Elio to fall.

This gives the Kalos kids chance to retaliate, Shauna sent out Goodra, Tierno sent out Crawdaunt, and Trevor sent out Raichu.

Selene then sent out Lunala and command it to fire Moongeist Beam, preventing the heroes from getting close to Elio.

As Elio recovered he and Selene worked side by side to defeat the Kalos kids. Solgaleo opened ultra wormhole and Lunala shoot Moongeist Beam at the wormhole, Solgaleo opened another wormhole and the Moongeist Beam came out from that wormhole, catching the Kalos Kids in the blast, the Kalos kids and their pokemons are lying on the ground.

Because of Aurora Veil Hendrik's sword strike barely hurt Krystalinda, she tried to freeze him like she did Olympia, but Safeguard prevent Hendrik from being instantly frozen.

The same goes for Yen'fay, Sully and Stahl worked in tandem as they force Yen'fay to be defensive, but despite the number of hits connect to Yen'fay whether it's from Sully or Stahl Yen'fay barely feel a thing.

Realizing this, Yen'fay easily retaliate, Stahl swing his lance, but Yen'fay ducked as he throw his sword at him, grazing his armor.

Sully thrust her spear, however Yen'fay able to grabbed her spear, pull it closer forcibly and kicked Sully in the stomach, then Kjelle do a follow up attack, but Yen'fay summon Dark Spikes at Kjelle, destroying her armor.

"Is that Dark Spikes ? The same one Grima use ?" Questioned Stahl.

"Grima blessed me with his power, and sadly I must use it as it is his command." Yen'fay looked down in disgust using such vile powers.

Not only given powers by Grima, Yen'fay stacking the odds further, Yen'fay grabbed a pokeball he hid in his pocket. "This creature should increase my advantage." Yenfay sent out a Sneasel.

"You're using a pokemon too ?" Asked Stahl.

"Most of Neo Subspace Army shows fascination to pokemons, to the point they're not considered cannon fodder." Said Yen'fay. "Sneasel let's go."

Sneasel use Ice Shards on Stahl, the ice strucked his armor as Sneasel use Double Team and attack Stahl from many sides, Stahl overwhelmed by Sneasel's speed and with it's smaller stature Stahl have a hard time landing a hit on the pokemon, there's also Krystalinda's mist making hitting the target difficult.

Yen'fay is fighting Sully as she got up, while Sully able to fend off several attacks, however thanks to Yen'fay speed, he's able to land a few hits on Sully, Yenfay then do an overhead strike as Sully blocked it with her lance.

("Hold on, this could be it...") Yenfay realized something as he use the moment to reveal something to the heroes. "Sully listen, Grima is also looking for the emerald."

"That's completely expected captain obvious, he's not the only one doing it, your allies also gunning for the emerald." Responded Sully.

"You don't understand, Morgan doesn't make a good vessel for Grima, and with each passing day his grip on Morgan's body slowly weakening, the emerald is crucial to Grima's survival." Yen'fay spilling secrets to Sully

Hearing this Sully is shocked. "We knew Grima wanted the emerald to but to think this is the reason...hold on aren't you ordered to not reveal anything important ? Is this a trick ?" Sully is feeling suspicious.

"He's going to make an announcement to your faction soon enough, that's why i can share something this important." Said Yen'fay as Kjelle swing her spear to fend off Yen'fay and aid Sully.

Winding Woods

South of Snowbelle City is a forest known as Winding Woods, in order to get to Pokemon Village one must traverse through this forest, Wulfric having a bad feeling about Pokemon Village have to enter the forest to get to the village.

However as he travel through the forest there's someone getting in the way, and that is Lysandre.

"Lysandre what are you doing here !?" Wulfric demanded to know.

"Oh just checking in on my colleagues, I'm almost done with what I need to do, so I'm coming here." Replies Lysandre.

"Your colleagues ? Are they responsible for this strange mist in Pokémon Village ?" Asked Wulfric.

"Could be, I have so many 'unique' colleagues now, I don't know many of what are their capabilities." Said Lysandre.

"Lysandre what are you scheming this time ?" Asked Wulfric.

"Who knows, but I can tell you this at least, this world is about to change, and nobody can do anything about it." Answered Lysandre.

"Lysandre answer my question ! What do you mean by that !?" Demanded Wulfric.

"I could tell you but you wouldn't believe me, what I'm about to say will sound crazy." Said Lysandre.

"We'll see about that." Wulfric grab his pokeball and sent out Cryogonal.

"So that's how it's gonna be huh ? Okay if you beat me I'll talk." Lysandre sent out Mienshao.

Lysandre and Wulfric then have a pokemon battle.

Pokemon Village

Alolan Ninetales used Blizzard by Selene's command, making the air even colder, Selene uses the chance to toss the pokeball upward and sent out Decidueye again. Decidueye use another Spirit Shackle on the Kalos kids and the pokemons, but this time the arrows didn't explode, with the arrows hit the shadows, the kids and their pokemons are unable to move.

Hendrik about to swing his sword, but thanks to Blizzard he shivers as his hands getting numb from the cold and dropped his sword. Krystalinda blast him with a blast of cold energy.

Stahl also dropped his lance from the cold, this allows Sneasel to repeatedly slashing Stahl and damaged his armor.

Sully and Kjelle also shivers from the cold, this give Yen'fay a chance to strike them down as both mother aand dauhhter fell to the ground.

Decidueye then did the same to Hendrik, Stahl, Sully, and Kjelle, completely immobilizing them.

"Targets incapacitated, threats neutralized." Said Selene.

And with this the battle is over, Lysandre entered the Pokémon Village. "I came to check out on your progress, and it seems you did better than Jasper and Madeleine."

"Yeah..we...did." Krystalinda doesn't seem happy with her victory.

"Ly..san..dre." Calem speaks Lysandre name.

Lysandre ignored Calem as he walked towards Serena and take the emerald. "Mission accomplished...but first." Lysandre use the emerald to undo Krystalinda's magic as the Pokémon Village returns to normal, the snow and cold air is gone, and all of the pokemons are defrosted.

Lysandre even used the emerald to heal the heroes. "I would like to apologize for the chaos we caused, we will leave this place soon enough, i see all of tou still trapped from Decidueye Spirit Shackle, no matter Wulfric will be here soon. " Lysandre use the emerald to teleport him and his allies away from the Pokémon Village.

Wulfric arrived too late to the village as he saw the heroes still trapped, he then seeing the others still trapped sent out Abomasnow and command it to use Ice Shard to remove the arrows.

"Are you all okay ?" Asked Wulfric.

"Not really." Lamented Calem. "We lost the emerald."

"And also, I can't believe Elio and Selene would turn against us like that." Added Serena.

"Why would they work for the enemy ?" Questioned Tierno.

"Umm...hey don't you think their attitude was weird ?" Trevor brought up Elio and Selene strange attitude.

"Come to think of it, the way they speak doesn't feel like their usual self." Realized Shauna.

"Elio and Selene, weren't Red and Blue said their names before ?" Asked Sully.

"Yeah they say Elio and Selene went missing after that bright light appeared." Added Stahl.

"So this means the enemy got to them first." Said Kjelle.

"It's possible they're even brainwashed to do Neo Subspace Army bidding." Said Hendrik.

"Hey Sully, I've heard Yen'fay was talking to you during your fight, what did he say ?" Asked Stahl.

"Okay I tell you, I still don't know if it's true or not." Sully told everyone what Yenfay said to her.

"So he need the emerald to stabilize his body ?" Asked Stahl.

"Yeah, he keep wrestling for control with Morgan over her body almost everyday, at least that what Yen'fay said." Said Sully.

"But they got the emerald, so Grima won't need ours anymore then ?" Asked Kjelle.

"Still, we need to tell this to everyone and made a mission to Plegia." Said Stahl.

"Yeah we need to return to the mansion to discuss our next move." Agreed Hendrik.

"So mind telling me whats going on here kids ?" Asked Wulfric.

"Lysandre, he joined forces with villains from beyond our world." Answered Calem.

"There was a witch who can seem to control ice." Added Shauna.

Hearing this Wulfric remembers what Lysandre said in Winding Woods.

Flashback...

"I lost, even with Mienshao type advantage you still win, so this is a gym leader true strength when not testing trainers." Lysandre lost the battle against Wulfric.

"I can tell you're not even trying Lysandre." Wulfric see through Lysandre's lies.

"Well believe what you want, as promised I tell you what I know, I belong to a new organization, one that has big plans for our world, no universe, I encounter many unique individuals, several of them aren't even humans, and they all came from a world where Pokemons doesn't exist, and what the organization ultimate plan is ? I don't know, but we are free to pursue our own personal agenda, but one thing I also know is, our world is a part of that grand scheme, well I talk too much, time to be on my way, but one more thing, if you decide to do something about what I say, I suggest you cooperate with the people in Pokémon Village, this is bigger than Kalos alone." Lysandre pull out his black plate and teleported away.

Back to the present..

("That's what Lysandre said, doesn't seem like he has the same agenda as his colleagues, but still.")

"So mind introducing us ?" Asked Hendrik.

"Ah right, everyone this Wulfric, he's the gym leader of Snowbelle City." Serena introduced Wulfric to the heroes.

("Are these the people Lysandre mentioned ?") Wulfric shrugged and introduce himself to the heroes.

The heroes then introduced themselves to Wulfric.

"It's nice to meet you all, now then please tell me the truth of what happened here." Demanded Wulfric.

"Do you think we involved enough people as is ?" Asked Stahl.

"The more allies we have the better, alright Mr. Wulfric, here's what's going on." Hendrik spill everything to Wulfric.

("This story, none of it contradict Lysandre's part, so otherworldly forces is at play huh ?")

"Unfortunately it is." Olympia Answered Wulfric as she read his mind much to Wulfric surprise.

"Let us apologized in advance, first we're truly sorry for dragging you into our mess." Hendrik bowed his head as he aplogize.

"There's no need to apologize, it's just a matter of time when Kalos will be on their sight." Olympia assured the heroes.

"If possible we'd like a cooperation from the people of Kalos regarding our mission." Said Hendrik.

The Kalos kids and the gym leaders looked at each other and nodded. "Of course, we'd gladly lend our strength, if they wished to mess with Kalos region, they will answer to us." Declared Serena.

"Then you'll need this." Hendrik give his golden plate to Serena.

Stahl gave his to Olympia, Sully and Kjelle give theirs to Calem and Olympia.

"So Calem what about you and Greninja now ?" Asked Serena.

"Well Greninja you can stay with them, it looks like your strength is needed there more than here, I know we won't see each other for a while, but at least knowing you're doing fine I'm relieved." Calem said to Greninja.

Greninja feeling guilty for being away from Calem for so long, decided to hug Calem, with Calem reciprocate in return. They let go of each other after a bit.

"Contact us if there's something happened here." Said Hendrik.

"I can tell Wulfric the rest, i'm sure all of you need to return to your base to rest, we'll take it from here." Olympia teleport the Kalosians away.

"There they gone should we go back now ?" Asked Stahl.

"Not yet...Stahl.." Sully's face blushed heavily.

"What is it Sully ?" Caught by surprise Sully give Stahl a kiss much to everyone surprise and Kjelle's dismay.

"Please I don't need to see that." Complained Kjelle.

"Wow Sully, didn't see this coming, but I like it." Stahl clearly enjoy the kiss.

"Sorry, this does seem out of nowhere right ? I guess I was just jealous on those Succubats for making you fall for them." Sully admit shyly.

"Sully dear I love you and not those Succubats, and you know im pretty much being mind controlled, you're the only woman for me...although didn't think I would see you jealous." Remarked Stahl.

"No woman like it when another woman make a move on your husband, so...you know what I mean, I'm not too good with these kind of stuff." Sully's face turned red from the embarrassment.

"Guess I'll stay at Green's room tonight." Muttered Kjelle.

"Love is always a beautiful thing to see." Hendrik snickered seeing Stahl and Sully interaction. "Lucario it's time."

Lucario use it's golden plate and teleport the heroes to the mansion.

Route 8

Lysandre went to Route 8 after fighting the heroes, he and the others trek through a small forest. Soon they arrive to their destination where a woman with pink hair awaits them, along with Jasper and Madeleine.

"Welcome back Lysandre, I take it victory is yours ?" Asked the woman.

"They're a formidable bunch, but yes, I admit it won't be possible without these guys." Lysandre compliment his allies. "Impressive work Krystalinda, with your magic you protected Yen'fay, Elio, Selene, and their pokemons from the cold

"Yeah whatever, so this is the thing you wanted to show us ?" Krystalinda looking at the large cocoon in front of the villains.

"Is that supposed to be a cocoon ?" Asked Yen'fay.

"Malva, no one has come here while I'm gone right ?" Asked Lysandre.

"Nope, I even have my pokemons patrol the area, and they don't see a single soul." Answered Malva.

"Alright, without further ado." Lysandre point the emerald at the cocoon. "Yveltal, destruction personified, arise from your slumber and serve me once more."

The emerald glows and shot a bright light at the cocoon, and from the cocoon a bird dragon like creature emerged from it, it has a sinister red and black color with wings and tail that resemble the letter Y.

Yveltal, upset that it was forcibly awaken not in the right time attack Lysandre, it used Oblivion Wing at the Team Flare leader, however Lysandre throw the emerald at the trajectory of Oblivion Wing, Yveltal absorbed the chaos energy instead.

Yveltal ceased it's attack and the emerald fall to the ground, Lysandre then picked it up. "You like that ? Join me and there's plenty more energy to consume."

Yveltal isn't easily bribed as it ready to attack again, however Lysandre reached out to it with his mind by, Yveltal read Lysandre's mind telepathically, and whatever Lysandre said in his mind Yveltal relent and backed down.

Lysandre grabbed a master ball and throw it at Yveltal, capturing it.

"I thank you for your cooperation, but I have use for the emerald for now, im going to need to research the Chaos Emerald, if you need it urgently i suggest, go get the rest from the enemy." Malva grabbed her black plate and teleport herself and Lysandre away.

"That Lysandre, somehow he's really being very enigmatic." Remarked Krystalinda.

"We've been keeping an eye on him, so far none of his actions indicate treachery...for now." Added Jasper.

"At the very least he has free will unlike us..." Madeleine looked down.

"No use mourning about it, I just have to wait for Hendrik to keep his promise." Jasper pull out his golden plate and teleport him and his allies away.

Vaniville Town

After talking with Olympia regarding their next move, Calem and Serena decided to return home.

"That was quite a day, I'm just happy you aand Greninja able to see each other again." Smiled Serena.

"Yeah, thanks if it weren't for you getting me out of my funk, I would've miss my chance of reuniting with Greninja, so thanks Serena." Calem thanked Serena.

"What are friends for !" Serena smiled at Calem.

"Well see you soon." Calem head back to his house and as he opened the door Calem saw his mom stare at him angrily.

"Uh...mom I can explain you see I.." Calem beginning to panic.

Calem's mom closed the door and then a sound of yelling can be heard all the way outside.

"I'M SORRY !" Shouted Calem.

"Ow man Calem really got an earful today, I hope you get through this, and as for me..." As Serena about to opened her house door Grace also stating at her angrily.

"Don't think you're not in trouble young lady." Grace is looking angry as Serena resigned herself to her fate.
