chapter twelve

The next morning at Bill and Fleur's house

Arthur sat at a table during breakfast at his son Bill's house and felt that Fleur avoided him and her method differed, so he made sure that Bill must tell her what happened yesterday.

Sitting at the table during breakfast were Arthur, Billy, Fleur, Victoire, Dominique and Louis.

"Will you spend the day with us, Grandpa?" said Victoire.

"No, my child," said Arthur, "I have important business today."

Dominique said, "Grandpa, when is Grandma Molly coming?"

"Children, stop talking," Bill said, "and finish your breakfast."

"I am almost done, Dad," Louis said in his childish voice, smiling.

And the breakfast continued, and after it was over, Arthur prepared to leave the house. Arthur had taken the today off from work to go to Minerva's house.

At Minerva's house in Hogsmeade

Minerva was in her home office finishing some school work.

She had decided to plan the vacation with her daughter, Athena, after she finished her work papers, but she had not decided where to go this year.

After she finished, she went to check on her daughter. She went to her daughter's room and knocked on the door, and she heard a voice from inside saying, "Come in, mother."

She entered to find her daughter sitting on the bed with a book in her hand.

Minerva said, "Have you finished the book, my kitty?"

Athena replied, "There is only a few left, I want to finish it today," and she smiled at her mother.

Minerva said, "I'll go make a snack until you're done, so we can plan a vacation together after that."

"Okay, Mom," said Athena, "but make sure there have strawberries and cinnamon biscuits."

Minerva said, "Okay, my kitty."

And Minerva came out of the room and closed the door behind her and went to the office to take the messages she wanted to send, but she was stopped by knocks on the door of the house.

Minerva went to the door of the house and opened it, to be shocked by the presence of Arthur Weasley in front of her. She began to think and was amazed about the reason for the presence of Arthur in front of the door of her house, but she did not reach a conclusion, so she said in a low voice, "Arthur, what are you doing here?"

"I want to talk to you, Minerva, about Athena," said Arthur, holding his nerve so as not to shout at her.

Minerva felt that the world was spinning, and she could not comprehend how Arthur knew.

Minerva said, "What?"

Arthur said, "You heard, Minerva, I want to talk about my daughter, whom you did not tell me about her existence all these years," and continued, "Do you want to talk in front of the door of the house?"

Minerva tried to comprehend the situation, as she had been trying to prevent this situation from happening all those years, but she did not expect it to come so quickly.

She looked behind her to make sure Athena wasn't there and said, "Come to the office room ."

And she took hold of his hand, and pulled him into the house, and took him quickly to the office, so that Athena would not see him.

When they were inside the office room, she grabbed a wand and put a set of spells to prevent their voices from leaving the room.

Minerva said, "how did you know of Athena's existence?"

Arthur said, while grasping her arm violently, "You, you ," and stopped and collected his nerves, and continued, "How did you not tell me before?, Why didn't you tell me about your pregnancy? How long were you planning to keep it a secret from me?"

Minerva withdrew her hand and pushed him slightly away from her, and she went and sat on one of the chairs, and she said quietly, "What would you have done if you knew of my pregnancy? Would you have left Molly to marry me and raise Athena with me?"

"Absolutely not," Arthur quickly replied. "I wouldn't have left Molly."

Minerva said, "Would you have tried to convince me to have an abortion?"

Arthur said after thinking, "I don't think so, because it is not her fault for what happened."

Minerva sighed, "So what were you going to do, would you have confessed to Molly what happened, or would you have kept it secret from her and visited us in secret without your family knowing?"

Arthur was silent, not knowing what to reply.

Minerva said, "My decision was the best decision."

Arthur replied, "You should have told me and left me the right to choose by myself."

He went to the chair next to her and sat down.

Minerva repeated her question, "Arthur, how did you know of Athena's existence?"

Arthur sighed and told her the whole story of the heir potion.

Minerva said, after sighing, "If only you'd let Molly use her blood."

"Then I would still not have known that I had a daughter," said Arthur.

Minerva said, her voice carrying sadness, "How is Molly? She must hate me now?"

When Arthur looked at Minerva and she was sad, he lessened his anger towards her and recalled their times as friends and said, "She is not in the best condition, and I think she feels betrayed by us."

Minerva said, "I'm sorry, Arthur, but I don't regret my decision. It was the best decision to keep it from you."

You are still as stubborn as you were, Minerva," said Arthur, "but I understand your point of view." Then his gaze fell on a picture of a little girl with fiery red hair and green eyes. He stood up and went to the picture and grabbed it.

Arthur took a look at the picture and said, "This is she ."

Minerva said, "Yes."

Arthur said, smiling sadly, "She is a beautiful girl," and he continued while looking at Minerva, "I want to know her, I want to be in her life, I want to be her father." Arthur released these words unconsciously. Yesterday, all his thoughts were on Molly and how he would She makes her forgive him, but when he saw a picture of his daughter, he thought he should take care of her.

"Not now, Arthur," said Minerva. "The most important thing now is the fate of your relationship with Molly."

Arthur sighed,and said "Okay."

"Come on," said Minerva, standing up, "I must get you out of here before Athena finishes the book."

Arthur said, "Wait, I want you to tell me about her. I don't know anything about her yet."

"Not now, Arthur," said Minerva, clutching his arm. "I'll send you a message tomorrow to meet me and discuss what we're going to do, and talk it over."

Minerva succeeded in getting Arthur out of the house without being seen by Athena.

Arthur's decision to return to Bill's house, and his mind is occupied with Athena.

At Bill's house, Arthur couldn't play with his grandchildren as usual, as his mind was busy with Molly and Athena and to his surprise there was a part thinking about Minerva.

When Bill returned home, Arthur asked him about Molly's condition and whether Percy sent a message or not. Bill did not have answers that would satisfy Arthur's anxiety, so he decided to go to the burrow, despite Bill's attempts to make him change his mind.

In the end, Bill's decision to accompany his father to the burrow، As long as he failed to convince him.

In front of the burrow door, Arthur and Bill stood. Arthur took a long breath and opened the door of the house and went to the living room, and it was a surprise.

He found his sons Ron, George, and Percy sitting with frowns on their faces, and when they saw Arthur, he quickly stood up and stared at him, and Ron said, "Father, is what we heard true?"

Arthur said, looking at Percy, "What did you tell them, Percy?"

Percy said, "I didn't mean it. George came early in the morning, and when he saw my mother's condition, he asked about the reason. I was forced to tell him, and that's how the news spread."

Arthur was about to speak when his daughter Ginny entered the room, and when she found Arthur, her face changed and she became angry.

She said while trying to control her nerves so as not to scream, "How could you do that, Dad? How could you betray my mother and have a child from another woman? I thought you were the best man in the world. I was bragging about my mother and father's strong relationship and the wonderful love story between them." How do you do what you did, what did my mother do wrong to be punished by treason, why, father, why?

George said, "Calm down, Ginny, a little." Ginny shouted, "How can I calm and my mother in this situation? ، My heart is squeezing with pain for her, whenever I put myself in her place I feel like I'm going crazy."

"What's wrong with Molly, how is she?" Arthur said with genuine concern on his face

Ginny replied, "You have no right to ask, and you are the reason for her condition." Ginny's face was full of tears, and her eyes were red from crying.

Arthur went to one of the chairs and sat down and put his face in his hands, how did his life turn between a day and a night into this, how did all this happen.

At the same time in the house of Minerva in the village of Hogsmeade.

Minerva was in Athena's room, helping her to pack a bag containing her clothes and things that she needed in abundance.

Athena said, "Why can't I go with you? And why has this important work appeared so suddenly?"

Minerva said, "I will not be late, my kitty, and I cannot take you with me."

Athena replied, "Why can't I stay here in this house, why should I go to my grandparents' house in Caithness?"

"I'll tell you when I finish these things," said Minerva, "and please stop asking questions. When we've packed your bags we'll wait for Miss Emily to come and travel by Flo to my family's house in Caithness, okay?"

Minerva was not a cowardly person who escaped from his problems, but she wanted to face them alone without involving her daughter in them, and because she also wanted to protect her daughter from these problems that she was about to face.

So Minerva found the decision to keep Athena out of all this is wise.

She was going to transfer Athena with Emily (Athena's babysitter in times of need) to her family's home in Caithness and she would remain here to solve this problem.
