chapter Thirteen
The next day at Ron and Hermione's house
Ginny had gone to Hermione since the morning, taking her children with her, because she had somewhere important to go to and she would go after that to take care of her mother.
She and her brothers had decided that someone would always stay with their mother, and George volunteered to stay with her yesterday. Ginny could not sleep in the burrow with her mother yesterday or stay for a long time because she had very young children who needed her and a baby girl who needed to be taken care of her, and Harry told her He's going to try to apply for three days off today so that he can take care of the kids and she can take care of her mother.
"But where are you going so early today?" said Hermione, holding baby Hugo in her arms.
Ginny said while looking at Lily Luna, the sleeping baby in her arms, "I will go to that bitch, in order to understand why she did that. My mother trusted her, we all trusted her. She was the teacher closest to us in school. How can she be so despicable like that ?"
"No, Ginny," said Hermione. "It's a bad and hasty idea, you want to take out your anger and grief on someone and you chose Professor McGonagall."
Ginny interrupted her and said, "She seduced my father, that bitch, I'm sure."
Hermione said, "You're looking for any excuse because you can't accept the truth. I'm sorry, but it's Arthur's fault, too, that he let it happen in the first place."
Ginny replied, "Which side are you on, Hermione? Why are you defending McGonagall like that? She was the reason our family was destroyed."
"I'm on the side of logical opinion, Ginny," said Hermione, "that both are equally at fault, and your father is more wrong. You're trying to find any excuse to try to keep your father's good image in your mind."
Ginny was silent, Hermione's words were true. Ginny could not sleep all night. She was thinking about the reasons that prompted her father to do that. She was thinking about her mother's condition and how she would make her overcome this ordeal, if Ginny could not even comprehend the whole thing.
Ginny said, "I have sent her a number of insulting messages from yesterday until this morning, and some of them contain very bad insults."
Hermione said, Hermione said, "Why, Ginny, that's so childish. How old are you for this behaviour ?"
Ginny quickly replied, "You didn't even see my mother's condition, Hermione, that the woman is shocked at her life partner and refuses to eat or talk to us, and this bitch lives her life as if nothing had happened."
"And did you do that to Arthur, too?" said Hermione.
Ginny replied, "I was going to curse him with a spell yesterday, but I can't because he's my father. Also, his life was also shattered. None of us have sympathy for him at all, or we can look him in the face without feeling angry."
Hermione sighed and said, "Going to Professor McGonagall is a bad idea, Ginny. It will not solve the problem, but will only complicate it."
Ginny said, "Then I will write an article exposing what I did so that everyone in the wizarding world knows that the woman they respect and value is nothing more than a whore."
"It's a much worse idea than before," said Hermione. "You're making it so much worse. And the Weasley family name will hurt. You now bear the Potter family name. But you must think of your brothers and their children, and you also have no right to punish Professor McGonagall. I know you are sad." You are very sad about your mother's condition now, but you must vent your anger and grief in some other way, and not turn it over to Professor McGonagall."
Hermione sighed and said, "And don't forget that she is the mother of your little sister."
Ginny quickly replied, "She is not my sister. I would never consider her a sister."
"Calm down, Ginny," said Hermione, "why don't you spend the day with me until you go to Molly , or why don't you stay with the kids and I go to take care and check on Molly?"
"No, Hermione, I'm going," said Ginny. "I couldn't sleep yesterday worrying about her.I want to be by her side
Hermione tried to ease Ginny up a bit and talk to her about her condition, until she would go back to her mother. Ginny had decided to leave her children with Hermione until she go to her mother, and Hermione did not mind, on the contrary, she welcomed the idea.
At the same time in the burrow, George was in the living room, thinking about the recent events that occurred in the family, and he heard a sound from the heater, and saw his brother Ron come out and remove the ashes from his red hair and his clothes.
"What are you doing here so early?" George said. "Did something happen in the shop?"
Ron said, "No, nothing happened, but I couldn't focus on work, and my mind was preoccupied with my mother's condition and what happened yesterday."
George replied, "I understand you my little brother, I still can't believe what happened."
Ron said, "How is mother doing now?"
"As she was yesterday," said George, "I am very worried about her, but I managed to convince her to eat breakfast with me. she only had one slice of toast, but it's better than nothing."
Ron said, "How did you convince her, George?"
"I have my own ways, Ron," said George, and winked.
"I'm still shocked by yesterday's news," said Ron, sitting in one of the armchairs. "How could my father do that?"
George said, "I can't believe it either. My father and mother represented a perfect marriage in my eyes."
"He couldn't find another woman besides McGonagall," said Ron. "How could they do this to my mother?"
George replied, "It wasn't an affair, it was a one-night stand."
Ron said, "Do you think they were drunk and under the influence of alcohol?"
George said, "My father denied this yesterday. He admits his mistake."
Ron said, "Do you know that girl's name?"
George said, "Do you mean my father's daughter from McGonagall? Percy told me her name was Athena, and I warn you not to speak of her in front of mom or Ginny."
Ron sighed and said, "George, go home and rest for a while. I'll stay with mother . Don't worry."
"Well," said George, standing up, "did you know that Charles would be here in three days? Bill sent him an urgent message telling him what happened."
"The family has turned between a day and a night," Ron said with a sigh.
George left the house, leaving Ron, who decided to go to his parents' room and check on his mother
The next day in a muggle café in central London
Arthur was sitting at one of the far tables waiting for Minerva to come.
Yesterday, while he was at work, he received a letter from Minerva telling him to meet in one of the muggles cafes.
Arthur wanted to take a vacation from work and focus on solving this problem, but they currently need him to work a lot.
He had made the decision to move to a room in the leaky cauldron, despite his son's attempts ( Bill )to persuade him to stay with him, but Arthur felt that his children felt tension and sadness in his presence, so he decided to move away a little to think about how to fix things again with his family, of course he was always asking about Molly and reassuring About her condition of his children and their wives, Jenny his daughter refused to deal with him, and refused to talk to him now. Of course, Arthur appreciated her condition and the amount of pain and sadness she felt.
Minerva arrived at the coffee shop, and found Arthur sitting at a distant and isolated table, absent-mindedly, staring in front of him.
she went and sat next to him without even he noticing and said, "Arthur, hello, I'm here, and I apologize for being late."
"Oh Minerva, hello," said Arthur.
"How are you?" said Minerva, "you look tired, Arthur."
Arthur sighed and said, "Things are not very good, l try solving the problem without losing my family, but I don't know if that is possible."
Minerva said, "Don't worry, we'll find a way, Arthur. How's Molly?"
Arthur said, "She has not improved, according to the children's words. She almost does not eat anything, and is silent most of the time. I am very worried about her, Minerva. I am afraid of losing her." Arthur's tears flowed down his cheeks.
Minerva took out a handkerchief and gave it to Arthur. "Give her time to process it," she said. "She's shocked. Don't worry, Molly is a strong woman."
Arthur and Minerva talked about the problem for some time, and Arthur began to tell Minerva about his tense relationship with his children. Minerva was reassuring Arthur and telling him that it takes time for them to get over it.
Minerva said, "So where do you live now?"
"In the leaky cauldron," said Arthur, "when will you introduce me to Athena?"
Minerva said, "Not now, of course. The atmosphere is very charged, and I don't want to put my daughter in this situation. Be patient, Arthur, until things are resolved with your family."
Arthur said, "Well, can you at least tell me about her ?"
Minerva took out a picture of Athena and gave it to me, Arthur, and said, "I copied a picture of her for you, so you can keep it."
Arthur grabbed the picture and took a look at it, and Minerva completed her words, "Her birthday is on the sixth of June, and her full name is..."
The conversation continued between Arthur and Minerva about Athena.
