BAM!

"HOW THE FUCK IS THIS POSSIBLE!?" a man angrily yelled as he slammed his fist on a table, a loud thumping sound spreading throughout the house while a furious gaze adorned itself on his face. He looked to be a tall-looking teenager, with unkempt blonde hair that was black on its underbelly, and brown eyes that were currently alight with sheer fury. His outfit consisted of a tight-fitting blue shirt with grey plate armor on the arms, shoulders, legs, and feet. Leaning against the armrest of his sofa, was a long spear-like weapon.

Why was this man so angry, one might be asking themselves? Simple.

"How? Just how the fuck did that girl Yuki mess everything up in just a single day!?" He roared out in anger while sporting bulging veins, displaying how much anger he was currently experiencing right now.

He soon got yelled at by another person within the room that they currently occupied, and that one showed themselves to be just as agitated, though for different reasons. "Don't you dare blame my older sister Hayase! It is not her fault!" The person, a girl, argued back to the boy named Hayase, standing next to a corner of the room with a look of outrage on her features. Appearance wise, she looked to be a petite young girl with a surprisingly developed figure for her age (which shall not be stated in fear of feminine retribution), with blue-violet hair tied up in a ponytail, and golden colored eyes.

Her outfit consisted of a partially blue, partially white dress with golden trimming along the edges, tightly wrapped around her slim figure. Additionally, she shared similarities with the boy Hayase in that she sported grey armor over her shoulders, hands, legs, feet and arms whilst completing the look with a long purple cape. She also wore short leggings underneath her skirt for better mobility in battle without the fear of someone looking under her skirt.

As for the nature of their conversation, it had to do with a recent failing by one of their members, one of their tougher members at that. The fact that she had failed in her mission was already bad enough with it being a major destabilizer to their morale as well as the confidence their elders had in them, but it also provided the whole lot of them with an international-scale relations disaster.

It hadn't been too long since their member, Yuki, had been returned to their borders by the Hellsing organization which now had a foothold within Japan, looking like she had gone through the wringer in some kind of conflict. This had been enough to rile these youths up considerably, but things got even worse when the elders announced that relations between the two organizations had been shattered thanks to Yuki, who would be placed in solitary confinement with limited visiting hours and visitors themselves as punishment. The youths had no IDEA just how bad things had gotten regarding the bigger picture, but they did have some guesses thanks to what little they did know.

Hayase turned to her in anger, not willing to take the verbal lashing she'd previously given lying down. "In case you hadn't noticed, idiot, your sister was sent back to the hero clan and the elders told us to abandon the mission because she failed to do one simple task!" Hayase yelled back, having gotten into the girl's face in a mere few seconds to raise a single index finger in front of the petite girl. "ONE SIMPLE FUCKING TASK!"

Not one to be outdone as well as feeling her rage boil over, the ponytail girl grasped Hayase by his shoulders and pushed him back, the boy nearly stumbling over before he regained his balance. This did give her the chance to return the favor though, something she did by getting up in his face with a fierce glare blazing from her eyes. "Well why don't you go there yourself and see if you can handle killing Satan's spawn, you lump sack of cow shit!" She spat with thick venom in her words.

That riled him up, to the point where he reached for his metallic staff with green stripes circling around the white spirit lance. He grasped it by the handle and yanked it from its resting position next to the sofa's armrest, pointing it at the girl while looking one step away from attacking her. "What did you say to me, bitch?! Come on I didn't hear that clearly, say it one more time and I'll make sure you'll be sent to your sister in pieces!" he declared, spit almost flying out from his mouth while he got accompanied by a green aura surrounding him.

Seeing the spear being pointed at her, the young petite girl had a blue aura surrounding her while preparing her magic.

The two were in a stalemate, neither making any sudden moves just waiting for their adversary to make the first move.

Not before a voice has stopped them from fighting each other.

"That's enough bickering you two." a young charming muscular voice said which made the two pull back their aura and look at the person who was sitting at a chair nearby them. "You are acting like immature children. It is unfitting for your age and as members of the Hero Clan, and to be frank it's honestly getting annoying now. Let's calm down and not get too destructive, act like adults you two."

His words eventually convinced the duo to back down and relaxed their stance after a tense moment of silence. It seemed his words managed to bring them back to their senses, although their animosity still persisted beneath the surface which the man had detected, much to his internal annoyance… though he could understand why.

As for the man in question, he looked to be a tall well-built young man in his twenties with long brown hair tied using red ribbons and he has been seen to be dressed in the main combat uniform of the Hero Clan. He is seen to have his eyes narrowed into slits.

Hayase sighed as he slumped down to the couch with a tired expression on his face. "Sorry about that Kurumi, it's just with that…..that thing around." he spat out 'thing' like poison. "It's only a matter of time until it arrives."

The girl named Kurumi softened up as she went to Hayase, sat down, and patted his back with comfort. "It's not your fault but I do agree with your anger against Satan's spawn. My sister was reckless and did not go with back-up, if she did then we wouldn't be in the situation." she admitted, scowling at the thought of the results her apparent sister's mission had sprouted.

A low sigh escaped her companion's lips after hearing this. "That's just the thing Kurumi, how the fuck did the Hellsing knew we were here? It was supposed to be an undercover mission. It's like they're one step ahead of us." Hayase questioned with confusion, gazing down at the ground.

His question was met with silence, though not because of ignorance as the other two followed his example. He did have a point there, no one in the supernatural world was supposed to know what their mission was, but apparently it's as if the Hellsing had predicted where they would go and knew what their mission was anyways.

Something had gone wrong somewhere, but where?

Kurumi shared the same confusion with Hayase as well, she put her hand on her chin while thinking of some solutions before coming up with one that she guessed. "Maybe….. it's because they had intel from the Devils and decided to recruit her into their organization?"

"I doubt that very highly." the brown-haired boy instantly denied her theory. He still has his eyes closed but for some reason can still see. "Hellsing would not get involved with their politics and if they wanted to get intel..." he opened his eyes showing a serious yet a dark expression. His eyes were shown to be black with slit red pupils. "Then they would've sent their trump card Aluca-"

"DON'T SAY HIS NAME!" Hayase shouted to the brown-haired boy with a fearful expression. He stopped him from saying Alucard's name, the thought of the king of vampires having shaken him up real bad. "D-don't say t-that…...monsters name Shiba."

Shiba did not respond to Hayase, but complied with his wishes since he knew full well how much terror that vampire had brought to the world.

Alucard, the King of the Vampire race and the original Vampire. Brought into being by unknown means (at least Shiba himself didn't know the full facts), this being proved to be monstrously powerful beyond compare, feeding on the life force of others and gaining strength from it. Able to wield this unspeakable power, he had brought countless deaths and untold destruction against the mortal world, rampaging without limit and sending many holy men and women to the graves… which was actually the luckiest fate that could befall them. Mainly because he would add their souls to his collection and use them for his undead army, sending them against their fellows and watching as they got ripped apart.

From impaling his enemies and even subjects on massive stakes to die slowly and horrifically, to the brutality he showed in war, Alucard had committed countless atrocities against the human race to the point where it even forced the supernatural world to intervene, teaming up with old enemies to put him and his undead army down. To them, they thought that with their amassed power over the centuries they would have fared better than the humans they collectively looked down upon for being a weaker, inferior species.

Unfortunately for them, the supernatural world got proven wrong. DEAD wrong.

Be it human or non-human, there was very little that could stand in Alucard's way with both forces being slaughtered in the millions, added to his undead army's ranks and sent to kill off their former comrades. He drank in their blood, their excess, tortured them without limit to stretch their suffering out as much as possible before finally adding them to his collection. One could say that even Alucard had lost count of how many souls had been added to his bloody collection amidst the carnage.

No one had able to defeat the No-life king back then, not man nor monster… but then, arose one man who had managed to do such an impossible task:

Abraham Van Helsing.

That man's name had been spread throughout the world when it came to light that one human had been able to defeat and bind the vampire king to serve their family. The Hero Clan had caught wind of this and had instantly gone to meet the legendary vampire hunter, thinking that he would end up being a worthy human to be brought into their hero clan. Sadly, they had thought wrong, so, so wrong. Upon hearing their emissaries out, Abraham had swiftly denied their invitation saying he will protect the people of England, not to serve the people who have only high doubts about them.

Basically insulting the hero clan they were just a bunch of childish people and a bit selfish since he only wants to protect the UK only.

Of course this did not sit well with the Hero Clan, as they couldn't allow such a powerful and deadly man to not be held on a short leash like a rabid dog. To them, they had thought Abraham was just a simple man who has nothing but gadgets and tricks just only to defeat the deity who had caused the world such cataclysmic suffering.

Such thinking had then proven to be their downfall however, for it became a fact that even a simple man can be the most dangerous man alive on this planet. Abraham had sent the first order to Alucard, to weaken the Hero clan.

In other words, genocide.

Alucard had gleefully slaughtered the hero clan, men, women, or children; he did not show any mercy. Instead, he simply enjoyed bathing and drinking all of their blood like he had never been defeated in the first place, eventually leaving them weakened since politics and a lack of manpower rendered the supernatural forces unable to provide assistance.

It didn't help that many in that said world also agreed with Abraham's view of the Hero Clan, with some even having the opinion that they would have an easier time roaming the world should the Hero Clan lose their ability to police them… only for Abraham to allow Alucard to slaughter those who thought this and those connected to them as well.

Thus leaving them a warning to all those in the supernatural that if they were to try and attempt to destroy the UK and its people…...then may God have mercy upon their souls.

One time, Hayase even had the 'pleasure' (press X to doubt) of once meeting with the No life king before in his mission to Switzerland, and it was NOT something he'd ever forget in his lifetime. That smile combined with his sheer presence, the feeling of being near a powder keg ready to explode and his sheer POWER were enough to scare even a grown man to death.

It had proven to him that even though Alucard remained a servant to the Hellsing family, he was still the no-life king of old…

Which scared the living daylights out of him.

Hayase, still shaken up from the horror of Hellsing's Trump card, tried to calm himself but the fear was too great for him to even mutter a word.

So Shiba who still had his eyes open and began to talk. "The fact is, the elders have told us to come back to avoid Hellsings wrath. We still cannot let this go however, just for the Fact that Mio Naruse is still classed as an SS rank threat. Her powers are still growing as we speak."

Hayase processed the information Shiba said to them before his brain began to work in a few seconds and widened his eyes as he looked at Shiba. "D-Don't tell me." he said to Shiba, he did not respond but he knew the answer already so he jumped from the couch and looked at him with terror. "That's fucking suicide Shiba! Are you crazy to even think about disobeying the elders?! You know what happens if we do, we'll be slaughtered by th-th-th-th-that monster!"

"He won't be for long." Shiba calmingly replied to Hayase, confusing him about what he meant by that. To help clarify it for him, Shiba summoned a letter which had the sample of an H and on the bottom was two swords striking each other. Shiba explained to Hayase. "One of the elders has sent a letter to me, explaining that the Hellsing are preparing for something, something which makes their trump card busy, long enough for us to enact our mission." he explained in a foreboding tone.

This caught the other two off guard, something that was forcing Hellsing to divert their trump card's attention away from them? That sounded like a big deal, and the fact that they didn't seem to know what it was judging from the look on Shiba's face worried them slightly. That matter sounded like something the Hero Clan should look into, but their priorities seemed to be on the current matter of Satan's spawn Mio Naruse.

Kurumi still wasn't sure whether they should or not continue with their mission as much as she wants to keep living, she knew well about the no-life kings threat. She was only glad her sister did not run into him because if she did…..she would rather not think of it. So she asked Shiba a question. "I don't know whether we should Shiba-"

"It's either that or allow her to roam freely around the world. Kurumi, the original demon is too much greater of a threat, greater than the lord of darkness." Shiba interrupted Kurumi explaining to her the greater threat Satan is than Alucard. "The Hellsing are becoming traitors of humanity by protecting and allowing that girl to live. If we kill Satan's spawn, we're saving humanity from a greater threat."

The room became silent for the moment, unsure about whether they should cross the boundaries of the Hellsing organization or save humanity by exterminating the demon lord's spawn.

On one hand, the Hero Clan didn't see the possibility of leaving a Satan Descendant alone as a feasibility, especially since they had invested so much time and manpower into the job of eliminating her. To retreat after everything would be like a big slap to their faces and would likely be a major humiliation of their name on the world stage. The Hero Clan as a reclusive, isolated Clan who believed they had the duty to police the supernatural world to 'protect' humans, didn't think they could afford such a thing.

However, the opposite side was just as risky. The whole situation with the Hellsing organization was on thin ice as it was, and EVERYONE knew just how bloodthirsty Hellsing truly was. One could say that while the European region was where the hated Christian religion came from, the UK was not the source of it and more than that the UK had once been the head of one of the biggest human empires in History. Many in the human world belittle them now, thinking them to be a weak little island with little to show for itself, so they tend to forget just WHO they were messing with.

Not the supernatural world, though, and the simple reason for this was Hellsing and by extension, the royal family.

To them, the supernatural branches in the UK were every bit as formidable as they ever were, with Hellsing near the upper end of that spectrum. There was a reason why their monarchy was still held in high regard across the globe which was something Hellsing upheld through blood, sweat and tears. Add in the danger their trump card Alucard possessed, and thus one could understand that if they slipped even SLIGHTLY, the consequences would be dire.

Decisions like these were always something too tough to decide.

Unable to take the ominous silence anymore, Hayase cleared his throat awkwardly before he looked towards Shiba with a conflicted expression on his face. "And if that doesn't work Shiba, what will happen next?" he questioned, though deep down he knew the answer already.

"..." Shiba did not answer for a bit before closing his eyes back to the narrow slit before saying. "Then we pray. Pray that our soul does not be trapped within Alucard for eternity, pray that God has given us mercy on our soul."

Back to the manor

CRUNCH!

"Oh man, sometimes I hate that you're so good at cooking! Ugh!" Vali complained to Kuroh, taking a big crunch out of a big piece of meat that had lots of spices on it.

Opposite the white dragon emperor, Kuroh looked smug at Vali's state while eating his gourmet buffalo dish like a nobleman. "This is one of the things you cannot surpass me in Vali. You can't deny that I'm better than you." he remarked like a classic British person with the old-fashioned tone and posture to accompany it. Mostly to mess with his companion and drive him crazier, something he found the British mannerisms easily capable of doing.

It worked like a charm too, proven when Vali glared at him heatedly with a fiery gaze. "What did you say to me?! I swear that I'll try to find a way to get even with you!" Vali declared to Kuroh, a tick mark on his forehead in annoyance at his companion.

Said companion still looked smug at him before pointing to Vali. "Then why are you still stuffing your face with the cow meat?" he questioned knowingly.

For context here, the Hellsing boys were currently sitting together at their HQ's dining table, eating some dinner consisting of meat and vegetables cooked by Kuroh, who'd been designated their resident chef. It actually came pretty close between him and Meredith who had started taking cooking lessons to be better able to provide for her subordinates, like a proper leader would. However, he showed himself to be the more experienced of the two and won that battle, though he did remark that Meredith's calling lay more on the leadership side than cooking.

They would have been able to eat with the girls of the group too, but each of them had their own things going on so they couldn't join, making this one of the few times the boys got to spend together with just them.

After being humbled by Kuroh, Meredith was busy going through paperwork in her office, checking out the city's security and going through various other matters. One could even hear her talking on her phone to different people in the city's governing bodies who were aware of the supernatural world about how to proceed with different problems surrounding the city's management. One could consider her a bit of an accountant extremely good at her job, because her help in managing the territory had garnered her quite the popularity amongst the people.

Kuroka was nowhere to be seen, although the boys suspected that she was trying to get some preparations done for her attempts to get into Vali's pants (much to the white dragon emperor's dismay), either that or she was busy dealing with matters provided to her by Meredith. As much as they enjoyed seeing Vali suffer regarding her, the boys knew that if she went too far Meredith would put her foot down on her. It had happened several times before, especially when Sir Integra got involved, but it continued with Meredith as her successor thanks to them being away from Hellsing's HQ.

As for Mio and Maria, the two of them were currently using the HQ's training facilities to promote the Satan descendant's development of her powers, something which everyone had declared to be a priority. With the copious amount of lessons and advice laid out before her, Mio had decided to make the most of it to get herself as strong as possible quickly so that she could be more helpful and stand up for herself. Maria had decided to help her out there as well as supervise her for any extra assassination attempts, which the Hellsing people understood as a perfectly reasonable action to take.

Essentially, this was one of the few moments of true guy time they had together, which despite what many of them would say about it proved to be highly valued amongst the lot of them,

"...Shut up, will you?" Vali quietly muttered to Kuroh before he took out another large bite out of the cow meat like a wild beast.

CRUNCH!

"Hehehehehe." Kuroh laughed at Valis' misery while the silver-haired boy's frustration was increasing with each laugh Kuroh was giving him. Oh how he really wished to wipe that smirk off of that damn face but he couldn't. No matter how much he denied it, Vali just can't match the guy in the cooking department.

Off to the side, Arthur was ignoring the developments between the other two males as he ate his crab dish in a similar fashion way as Kuroh since he is a noble at birth and knows how to act like one. Though he does sometimes wish that Vali and Kuroh could stop their rivalry and all this shit about comparing who was better than one or another.

Theseus was eating a deluxe fish dish with hot soup next to the fish and beef stuck to the iron cooking pole. Theseus took one whole fish on a fish, balancing it. He stared at it for a while before-

RAH CRUNCH!

Taking a huge bite out of the fish and eating the whole thing before chewing it and swallowing it down to his stomach. While he did this, Theseus noticed that Kuroh, Vali and even Arthur were staring at him with a bewildered expression. "What?" he asked the two boys.

"Dude, what the fuck was that? You just grew your whole mouth just a second ago!" Vali exclaimed at Theseus. Vali was sure as hell he did not go insane with what he just saw a moment ago.

Theseus was confused what he meant by his mouth suddenly growing to size before he realized what he was saying. "Ohhhh! You mean this?" He grew his mouth once more to the size which Vali and Kuroh saw and pointed at him.

"Yeah that one! What the hell is that Theseus, did you eat something weird because I swear Kuroh's dish is always something no good!"

"Hey!"

"Don't worry about it." Theseus waved Vali off as he turned his mouth back to normal and explained to Vali. "That was just one of my abilities granted by the Egyptian sand god. I call it Beast of Earth or BOE for short." Theseus explained to Vali, Kuroh and Arthur.

"Beast of Earth?" Kuroh muttered as he put his hand on his chin, the moment he heard those words something clicked in his mind. He didn't get why himself, but something had told him he had heard that name before.

Fortunately, Kuroh didn't have to think about it too much thanks to Arthur, who gave his answer which answered the samurai butler's questions. "Do you mean in the christain bible where it spoke of two beasts, the beast of the sea and the beast of earth?" Arthur questioned Theseus, Alucard's protege nodding his head to Pendragon's descendent.

Thanks to this revelation, Kuroh widened his eyes and lifted his brows when he remembered the time where they were at the red pyramid. "Ohhhh! I remember, you said it had to do with Set? Is his curse still affecting you Theseus?" he questioned, worry slowly seeping into his tone behind his usually stoic composure.

This also had the effect of spreading his concern through everyone else in the room while they regarded the male warily. Godly curses were no joke, every mortal afflicted by them throughout history could attest to that like the majority of those Greek ones who were simply minding their own freaking business. These curses tended to cause untold damage and suffering to the mortals in question, then that pain would last throughout the ages. Thus, for someone like Theseus to have a God's curse put onto him would not be a laughing matter, especially if it would cause them harm further down the line.

They could imagine the outrage Integra or worse Alucard would express if they heard one of theirs died via a divine curse.

The Shark king shook his head while drinking his wine before putting it down as he answered Kuroh while facing him. "No, it's not affecting me at all and before you try to deny it, I'll give you two words: my divinity."

Kuroh suddenly realized about his abnormal divinity which makes sense after all. It had long since been established that Theseus had a strong but… abnormal kind of Divinity. To him, and probably others too, it sort of resembled a Fallen Angel's after they just fell from heaven, being a mix of divine yet twisted at the same time. There weren't many other words to explain it, just his divinity alone said it all. "That makes sense. I'm guessing that shit had to do with it? Repelling the curse?"

Theseus nodded. "Yeah, look." Thinking they needed more physical proof and not him boinking them on the head with a partially transformed fist, he turned around and lifted his shirt before showing his Chaos mark as he would call it.

Regarding the Mark in question, it consisted of two circles, one inner and one outer circle, with arrow-like spikes protruding out of them.

The boys looked intrigued by his mark, leaning in to look closely at his new mark.

After a few moments, Theseus put his shirt down and faced them once more. He pointed to his back as he explained its history. "This probably appeared when that sand god placed that curse upon me, my twilight divinity fought against the curse and consumed it, thus gaining a new transformation, the BOE."

"Huh, looks like your divinity is still a mystery. You gain power over the curse the Gods would try to inflict... what, is there more to it?" Kuroh pondered for a while, he tried to solve the nature over Theseus twilight divinity so they would discover more about it. The Gods' aura was quite well known, light and darkness, good and evil yet there hasn't been in any cases of Theseus power. His seemed to be literally in the between the two like a sudden new case of a new type of divine aura. Not even Alucard who has lived for centuries or even the Egyptian god of knowledge Throth knew very much about it.

Looked like it would still remain a mystery until they discovered more about it later.

Vali decides to put in his thoughts. "You know, I don't know much about Gods(Expect for the fact I would love to fight them) but uhhhhh they say that if you awaken more of your divinity, you could gain your own divine mark or a sigil, you might practically almost become a god and maybe can match against Alucard since now you have gained a new awesome transformation."

Theseus looked at his hand for a moment before he gripped it hard. His face became shadowed in darkness and his eyes glowed in an eerie green light, all while putting a similar smile to his teacher while imagining surpassing Alucard.

"Heh, maybe so."

Later

After the whole dinner scene the boys decided to go on their separate ways, setting out to start doing their own stuff. Of course, it wasn't like he would care about that since it's their business.

Where is the Shark king? He's simply fishing at a lake.

Why is the almighty apprentice of the no-life king fishing?

Sometimes even powerful beings like to do simple stuff, get a little break from the work and jobs they had to do.

As for how and why this came to be, Theseus had discovered that fishing could be a good hobby not long after he had been inducted into the Hellsing ranks, as before when he had been on that boat off his home island Theseus had resorted to fishing as a means of survival. Something that carried way over into his further years of traveling the world, and post Hellsing induction it had become something of a hobby to help him bypass time between missions.

After walking onto the long wooden platform, choosing the right spot and conjuring a seat made from wood, Theseus bought a fishing rod, got a simple bait on his fishing hook, and then released the hook into the water. He sat on the wooden table while waiting for the fish to take the bait as he listened to the quiet peace of tranquility and focused on catching fish.

He could rather use his sacred gear to make the water catch fish for him, it'd be too easy for him. But then he had asked himself the following: what's the point of all the hard work one does when other people do it in an easy way? Where's the proof that you've worked hard to accomplish something? Where's the blood and sweat?

That's why Theseus had decided not to use his Sacred Gear's ability for nonsense like this, he was rather influenced by his training with his teacher. Training equals hard work, hard work equals a satisfactory reward when it is completed.

"(INHALE)(EXHALE), it's just you and me fishes, get ready to be devoured." Theseus muttered to himself and the potential fishes he was trying to bait. He had previously caught a few fishes due to the bucket behind him showing the fishes, the effort and patience.

Just then he felt a pull on his fishing rod, telling him that another fish had been caught on his hook. With a slight huff and a burst of raw strength, he pulled his rod back to lift it into the air, showing him the prize he'd gotten for his troubles. On his Rod's hook, there was a fish that was wiggling and hanging on it, prompting him to twirl the wheel on the rod's side to pull the hook closer and closer until it was in front of him.

This allowed him to get a better look at his catch, the said fish looking like a simple one but with a red belly and the way it's biting the hook seems to be a bit dent by its bite. Theseus narrowed his eyes for a bit until he got the fish out of the hook, the moment he did he saw a fish with very sharp teeth that seemed to be snipping at him.

Immediately, his eyes glistened when he realized the fish's identity with a low whistle escaping his lips. "Well well, it seems rather unusual for a piranha-like you to be here..." Theseus muttered, eyeing the fish. He had identified the fish's identity quite quickly due to the fact that the only creatures that are small and have sharp teeth like sharks were the piranhas, a red bellied one.

After a couple moments, the piranha stopped snipping at the hook and looked towards Theseus, gazing into his eyes which he promptly returned the gesture. For a seemingly eternal moment, they both had a stare off for a few minutes….that is, before the Shark king decided to end it by breaking his gaze. He then put the piranha back to the lake.

Once the piranha was back to the lake, it pulled itself off the hook with the bait still stuck in it's mouth, a meal provided by Theseus essentially. However, to his internal surprise it didn't swim away and instead looked at Theseus like a curious individual. Theseus glanced at the piranha before waving his hand. "What are you looking at? Leave me alone and let me enjoy my peace." he rudely said to the piranha, trying to make it aware of the fact that he didn't enjoy its presence.

Instead, the piranha did not even swim away from Theseus. Rather, it stayed in place on the water's surface to which it was joined by more of its species, till a whole bunch of piranhas were in a big group like a bunch of schoolkids on a field trip. Theseus widened his eyes at this act. "What the-" he exclaimed in surprise. He had just told the piranha to leave him alone, instead it was joined by the other piranhas.

What the hell?

Just as he was about to make the piranha leave by reaching into his coat to take out his bolt pistol, he recalled something important that he had studied in marine biology(Since he's a shark person, he needed the knowledge to take care of his pet sharks). He remembered that piranhas were usually found in a group since that way predators would be repelled by the other sharp teeth fish. He somewhat found it very similar to his own group as well since they sometimes stuck together but the piranhas always were together like a big….happy…..family.

Briefly, an image of his fellow Hellsing agents flashed through his mind.

So with a heavy heart. "(SIGH)." he put his bolt pistol back into his coat before he reached into his bucket and grabbed one of the fishes he'd caught. He pulled it out from the bucket before throwing it to the piranhas, who instantly swarmed over it, munching over the fish like a locust swarming around a living being but only with the piranhas devouring it like crazy.

MUNCH! MUNCH!MUNCH! MUNCH!MUNCH! MUNCH!MUNCH! MUNCH!MUNCH! MUNCH!MUNCH! MUNCH!

The shark king looked calmly at the slaughter, not disgusted or weirded out by the fact the piranhas were devouring a fish alive like an animal since it was just that, an animal. Not to mention that he had seen so much death in his lifetime (a lot of it caused by himself) that it just didn't faze him as much anymore.

Soon, the piranhas started to separate away from the fish's location, allowing Theseus to see in its place a simple skeleton. It just floated for a while before sinking down the lake. After the whole feeding, Theseus curiously put his hand on the lake, and when he did the piranhas swam around his hand, some of them were rubbing his hand like they were not going to bite him, showing him their trust in the shark king.

'You know…..this feels kinda nice.' Theseus mentally mused to himself while watching the fishes swim around him in adoration.

'The oceanic life is always a wonder for every being to explore, and yet it still remains a mystery to even the Sea Gods.' A woman with a soft tone was heard from Theseus' mind, the male not showing any outward reaction. Any ordinary folk would've gone mad at this, though he already knew he's not going insane due to already knowing who the voice belonged to.

Nephthys, the goddess who resided inside of Theseus as her host.

"You might be correct on that Nephthys." He replied back to the goddess while still having his hand on the lake.

In the past, he couldn't speak with Set's wife because she had been in a deep sleep for many weeks due to the backlash of the curse Set had inflicted on Theseus. It had taken a massive energy for his cursed divinity to repel the divine curse, though during this time the energy had such a large impact on his mind that it damaged Nephthys badly. She would've never survived had not something in his mind been providing her energy to heal her damaged soul, thus making her go into a deep sleep.

For the past few days, Theseus had sensed inside of his soul that Nephthys was fully healed from the previous damage he had unconsciously inflicted on her. They haven't spoken for a few days, maybe like it was some kind of grudge she had toward him for almost killing her, he would respect that keeping a grudge is something people understand, especially when it was for a legit reason. Imagine his surprise when he found that she did not have any anger, hidden fury, or even yelling at him the moment she had spoken.

After a few minutes of silence, Theseus took his hand away from the lake and leaned back on his wooden chair. He decided to ask her a question. "Though, do you hate me because Alucard has mocked and humiliated your husband and how I forced you into a deep slumber?"

"No." She instantly answered Theseus. "My husband should have known what was coming for him, with the amount of power he was gathering it wouldn't be a coincidence that a God would notice. Had he succeeded in making the red pyramid…..then the hidden would be exposed to the humans."

Theseus did not answer that one, knowing she was right. If Set would have succeeded in his construction of the red pyramid, allowing regular people to discover the hidden side of the world that was kept under their eye, he didn't want to think about the consequences that'd follow. He felt pretty sure they would declare war on the beings as a threat to humankind, leading to what would essentially be called WW3 with humans resorting to all the weapons they have in their arsenal. He could easily imagine them going 'fuck it', channel their inner Kim Jong Un's, and unleashing atomic genocide.

While noting what her host was saying in his thoughts, Nephthys continued to speak. "And as for the other one… I would be a hypocrite God to blame you, this was not your fault Kaito. The curse Set conjured onto you was done in a moment of weakness he found against you. I can't blame you for the trauma you had experienced when you were just a little boy."

"...(SIGH)." Theseus took a big sigh as he put his head down like he was embarrassed by his parents or didn't want to show them what emotions he's feeling and right now. If one were to ask him what he was feeling right now, he'd say he's feeling conflict, confusion, and sadness all at the same time. Most of it came from what he had heard from the Goddess within him… as wrong as that sounded. "Sometimes, I never understand you Gods. On one side, you're sometimes merciful and benevolent, treating your worshippers well or how they wish to be treated. Then, on the other side you're the exact opposite." He said to Nephthys.

"You're not alone in that opinion, young one. There are even those among us who admit we're hard to understand. Gods are meant to be complicated after all."

"That is true, though I'm not so sure that also includes those 'devils'." Theseus spat out the word 'devil' with poison in his tone.

Right after the Hellsing group had taken control over Kuoh city, Meredith had delved straight to work to examine what she had needed to do. Not even a day had passed by however, before she had received many reports from the Shinto's about the problems the Devil had lazily ignored over the years.

From the police force higher ups who complained about Stray Devils hiding throughout the town to prey on helpless mortals, to more economic and social-based problems that basically hurt the city's bottom line. These problems had been around for years, and hadn't had much focus put onto solving them and from what she had found, Meredith had seen they had cropped up shortly into the Devil-led government of the city itself.

Worse was the ample corruption running through the city's governing body, consisting mostly of bribes from corrupt officials who siphoned away the city's treasury for their own fortunes and uses. There were also many cases where people have tried to protest and push for changes to be made to improve the city in some ways only for them to mysteriously vanish without a trace, with the police being bribed to look the other way whenever this had happened. Numerous promises had been made to investigate these problems, and either they said nothing was wrong or nothing ever came of those so-called 'investigations'.

There were so many complaints it honestly gave Meredith a big hard headache, the amount of complaint paperwork the Devils had was almost like a small mountain which would have taken years to even make a dent, maybe even more than that let alone complete. It also increased her HATE towards the Devils for allowing things to get this bad, if this was how they governed a single city she couldn't even IMAGINE the problems going on throughout the underworld right now.

Nevertheless, she wouldn't back down from the challenge or disobey Sir Integra. Thanks to the lessons she had been taught by her teacher it had taken no less than a month of constant work alongside Theseus' and the boys cooperating with her for Meredith to stabilize the city, create better security throughout and deal with the stray devils, monsters, priests and vampires running rampant.

It helped that she showed herself as someone capable of governing as well, dealing with many of the corrupt officials in... her own way (Theseus and Kuroh were MORE than happy to deal with this for her). She would be able to launch proper investigations into those who had disappeared, revealing some to have been imprisoned or worse outright killed, hence she had quickly set them free by forcing those who held them to be arrested. Those who were rescued got ample compensation thanks to Meredith pulling a few favors she'd amassed during her short time as a governing official, all alongside being returned to their loved ones in good order. Those who had failed, she'd personally delivered the news to their loved ones along with the full story of what had befallen them.

Let it be said that Meredith was MORE than capable of being called a leader when it counted.

Thanks to all these things she had done, Meredith and Hellsing by extension ended up gaining respect from the Shinto's for all the hard work they had done. They were honestly thinking of making an alliance, cooperation, new trade routes, or something else.

That's right, never mess with the UK faction.

"These devils just love to leave things complicated, I honestly dunno who put them in office but they should be ripped to bits for their idiocy. I may not be as good with all this governing shit, but even I can see that it's honestly a miracle that the city still stands." Theseus declared with a scowl as he further mocked the devils. From what he had seen, the Devils just loved to procrastinate and leave all the work to other people who aren't capable of handling them.

"Don't blame the devils, they are partially responsible." Theseus furrowed his brows in anger as he was about to demand if she is taking the devils side, but she continued her sentence. "The ones who placed them to oversee the city are the real culprits. From the memory I have looked over, those girls are the sisters of the false satans."

"What the hell are you getting a-ohhhhhhh!" Just as Theseus was about to ask the goddess what she meant, his eyes widened as her point dawned on him. This got followed up with him realizing the meaning of what she was saying. In all honesty, Theseus should've figured that the reason was very VERY simple.

Gremory and Sitiri were siscons.

That was the very reason why there was so much paperwork and jobs they had to take over the first month when they had arrived. Just like an old go saying 'one shouldn't hate the gun but the one who pulled the trigger'

It's a little philosophy Sir Integra once had told him before, what's the use of hating a weapon, an item that can't do anything at all? What's the use of blind anger towards an item when instead you should hate the person who used a gun to kill someone you know or live with?

Bunch of hypocrites and fucking idiots they were.

What was even more idiotic was that those who do that were simply aiming their hatred at the wrong place in some sort of misdirected sense of accomplishment. They try not to look at the one doing the action but something that didn't even have it's own will or choice in the matter, finding that easier to do so. Sounded pretty damn pathetic and wimpy.

Just then a ringing sound was heard throughout the lake.

RING!RING!RING!RING!RING!RING!

Glancing down at his side, Theseus reached into his coat and pulled out his phone. Flipping it open, the male saw the caller was Meredith. Theseus frowned his lips before answering the call while thinking. 'Wonder what she wants now?'

Somewhere else

"Alright I got the intel our spies have gathered." Hayase declared with a victorious smirk on his face, holding up a piece of paper inside a file, showing it to Kurumi and Shiba.

"Well good for you, maybe instead of just being smug about it just tell us what was the cause of Yuki's failure." Kurumi impatiently said to Hayase, she's eager to know why her sister failed on her mission and how the Hellsing knows they're here.

Hayase meanwhile gave an admonishing glare to his companion. "Hold your horses now, I'm getting to that part now."

Kurumi glared back at Hayase as they had a stare off for a while before they broke it off. This wasn't the time to get into another argument, one which their superior would have stepped in to disperse it anymore.

Internally rolling his eyes at the younger girl, Hayase looked at the paper and began to read it. "Now lets see here….from what our spy can tell us, is that apparently, the Hellsing acquired this land from the Satans Lucifer and Leviathan after an attempted assassination of sir integra from the Devil elders, though I did wish she was assassinated." Hayase muttered that last bit under his breath, keeping it secret that he wished the head of Hellsing would've just died so the world (Only him) could rest peacefully. "And this was months ago, BEFORE we even arrived in Japan." he read, frowning in worry and concern.

"So it's not just a coincidence that the Hellsing were here." Shiba muttered under his voice, loud enough for the two hero clan members to hear.

"Oh yeah and guess what else there is? Their leader is Meredith Orinton, one of the royal members of the queen of England and the apprentice of Integra Hellsing. Great, just when I thought that old hag would never get married there's another one who is in line for the leadership of that bloody faction." Hayase complained as he put his hand on his forehead to soothe the headache he was feeling now.

It's not just him, Kurumi and Shiba were also showing some disrespectful faces as well. This was not a good thing for them, or even the hero clan in general. In fact, this was a very BAD thing since they had been under the impression that the Hellsing organization would disband post Integra's death. The Hero Clan had reached this conclusion when they had learned that Integra had never married to anyone in the family, and showed no signs of ever taking a husband.

This had been a great source of comfort for them, since they would no longer have to deal with such a ruthless faction from an island that once governed one of the biggest empires in human history. It was likely that the other factions in the supernatural world had similar viewpoints on the future of Hellsing, especially those victimized by Alucard's bloody rampage. Furthermore, with Hellsing gone the Hero Clan would have a better chance to establish their own foothold within the country to further promote their ideals, recruit prominent figures to their cause, and greatly swell in power. The Christian church would have definitely had a field day without them as well, many of their rulers had felt.

Now however, instead they were now being informed that there was another in the shadows that would take leadership of the Organization once Integra passed, and worse still she was a member of the royal family. Those royal monarchs seemed to be almost desperate to keep that barbaric organization running.

"What else is there on the paper Hayase?" Shiba broke the silence and asked Hayase to continue the report their spies sent them.

"Huh? Oh well the new group that Hellsing has sent them was to spread their influence from the UK to Japan which is also the reason why they are here. Including…..huh? What's this?" Hayase stopped what else was there on the report, he leaned more closely to the paper as his eyes went left and right reading the lines. He then showed some uncertain expression, he put his hand on both sides of the paper. "No, it can't be…...please for the love of God, please no!"

"What? What is it Hayase?" Kurumi asked what was in the report that caused him to pant rapidly and go pale white. The more he read it, the paler and paler he got, showing his horrified expression on his face like in the morning when they talked about…...Alucard.

"NOOOOO! PLEASE GOD NO!" Finally he threw the paper away, dropped down the ground and crawled back in madness before he hit the wall behind him.

Kurumi quickly went to his side and squatted down as she attempted to calm Hayase. "Calm down Hayase! Stop acting like a child and tell me what happened in the report!" she tried to get answers from him but he did not answer her as he was shaking real bad. Kurumi turned pale when she realized what caused his fears. "Is….the No-Life king here?"

"No." Shiba answered Kurumi, the younger girl turned around and looked at their leader, he picked up the paper and read what was in the report. He opened his eyes once again. "Worse, the No-life king…...turns out, he now has an apprentice." he ominously said to Kurumi.

...

...

...

Silence dominated the room so heavily one would have been able to hear a water drop landing on the floor off somewhere. Not a single word was spoken, not even a dust or creak was made.

Kurumi froze in terror as she tried to process what Shiba just said, trying to get out of the Icey shell those words had reduced her to.

Off to the side, Hayase had the worst reaction out of the two since he was shaken with fear so much he was about to pass out any second or minute.

Finally after some time she finally spoke. "The rumors….they were true… Hellsings trump card….is building up his apprentice." she muttered, shaking violently at the thought.

It had been a while since she had last heard anything about it so Kurumi had forgotten, but a while ago the Hero Clan had caught wind of some rumors regarding a surge of Hellsing activity. Activity that started a few years ago when they exploded onto the scene, wiping out threats across the globe that would have likely endangered the UK Queen's interests. At the time, the Hero Clan had found it odd that such an organization was moving so much after being more of a reserved pacifist for a long time, though they still hunted the odd supernatural creature here and there. It was almost as if they had more on hand to deal with the supernatural, which shouldn't have been possible without them knowing about it beforehand.

However, the more they had looked into it, the more they had theorized that the Hellsing group had managed to recruit a bunch of figures who would have great weight in the supernatural world into their ranks. But these rumors back then had been so vague and there had been little information about these figures that many in the Hero Clan including Kurumi herself had blown them off as fake news.

Turns out, that wasn't the case.

Shiba answered Kurumi slowly, with a grimdark undertone as he glanced down towards the ground, worry shining in his eyes. "Yes, apparently their new recruit is known as the Shark King, the one who holds the twilight divinity as well as Alucard's heir. A new prince of Darkness, the second coming of Alucard, is coming to the world." he explained gravely, sending chills down Kurumi's spine.

One No-life king was bad enough but instead there is a student who seemed similar in brutality to the vampire king, a 'second Alucard' was amongst Hellsing and that person's reputation was spreading throughout the whole supernatural world.

It seemed that Hellsing was quickly proving themself to be growing deadlier by each day and their powers were still growing, no matter how much they try to destroy the organization or disband it, nothing can destroy them.

It's almost like God himself favored Hellsing over the rest of the world.

Shiba walked towards Hayase and-

SLAP!

"AHH!"

Slapping him on the face hard which moved his head, Hayase put his hand on his cheek as he was out of his fearful state.

"We need to act fast now, because the longer we wait, the more time we'll waste. If the student of the vampire king continues to grow his power, maybe he could eventually match his master." Shiba said to them while preparing to leave the house.

Not before Hayase stood up like a bullet. "Are you fucking out of your mind?!" He ran to Shiba and grabbed his collar while slamming him on the wall. "This thing is a student of that living darkness! Who knows how powerful it is?!"

"Then tell me what would you do Hayase, sit around while both Satan's spawn and the protegee student roam free on the world? If so, tell me." Shiba calmly beckoned Hayase, challenging him on if he had any bright ideas on how to deal with the incoming supernova.

Hayase tried to think of ways to do this, ANY AT ALL!...but none came to mind. There wasn't a single idea he had in mind, nothing came from his brain, much to his dismay as it forced him to see things from Shiba's perspective. To that end, he slowly let go of Shiba's collar and walked back to give some distance.

"The Shark king is not as strong as his master right now, so it's the perfect opportunity to strike right now before it's too late." Shiba explained to Hayase as he calmed him down for a bit, though not a lot.

The lance wielder looked ominous at Shiba like he had seen something which he shouldn't. "And if we're too late?"

"...then may our souls rest in peace." Shiba exclaimed with an ominous and defeated tone on his lips.
