chapter eighteen

Athena was in the living room waiting for her mother and father to arrive. She was nervous and excited at the same time.

The living room door opened, and her mother entered, along with a tall, skinny, slightly bald man, who wore glasses behind which were blue eyes, and who had bright red hair like her.

Athena stood up and smiled nervously.

As for Arthur, he recognized her immediately because of the pictures that Minerva was showing him to Athena, but seeing her made the matter more real and more realistic.

Arthur came forward and said, extending his hand to greet her with a smile on his face, "Hello, Athena, I am Arthur, your father, my little ."

Athena extended her hand and said, "Hello, Mr ." She stopped and looked at her mother, who smiled at her reassuringly and continued, "I am Athena Isobel McGonagall, nice to meet you."

Arthur said, sitting on the sofa, "I know, my child, your mother told me a lot about you, I have wanted to meet you so much since I knew you existed, and I am sorry, my child, if I made you wait for me all this time."

Athena also sat down and said, "My mother did not tell me much about you. I want you to tell me about you, Mr." Athena was trying to figure out how she felt about meeting her father, She had a little feeling of reassurance and familiarity.

"My name is Arthur Weasley, my child," Arthur said.

Athena said with a little surprise, "You are a Weasley, Mr ?"

Minerva had also sat in one of the chairs, and left the conversation confined between Athena and Arthur, deciding not to intervene unless the matter called for it or Athena needed her help .

Arthur said, "Yes, my child. Do you know my family?"

Athena shook her head yes and said, "I think it is one of the families of pure blood." This was not what caught Athena's attention, as she did not care about the purity of blood or whether her father was a wizard or not, and she continued saying, "Do you know the professional Quidditch player Ginny Weasley? She used to play for the Holyhead Harpies. She stopped playing and has retired now. She is married to the famous Harry Potter, but now she is Quidditch correspondent for theDaily Prophet. Oh, her real name is Ginevra."

Arthur was surprised by Athena's knowledge of Ginny. He knew from Minerva that she loved Quidditch, but he did not expect that she knew Ginny.

Athena continued, "Oh, and Ronald Weasley too. He was with Harry Potter in eliminating Voldemort, hmmm, and the owner of the Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes shop as well."، I think, his name, is George Weasley. Do you know that his products are constantly smuggled into Hogwarts and he does not listen to my mother's warnings not to sell them to the school's young students" And she laughed, saying, "Filch suffers from his products and pranks that he sells. "

Arthur thought that she already knew three of his children by now.

Arthur said, "Yes, I know them all, Athena. They are my children."

Athena's eyes widened in amazement and surprise, And she continued to look from Arthur to her mother and vice versa

After she understood the matter, she said, "Wonderful. This means that Ginny is my older sister. This is more than wonderful. It was one of my wishes to have siblings, especially a sister. You are not kidding me, Mr, are you?"

Arthur said with a smile, "No, Athena, I'm not kidding you, it's the truth."

"How many brothers and sisters do I have, Mr?" said Athena, eager to learn about her family, which she didn't know existed.

Arthur said, "You have 6 brothers and one sister, and she is Ginny ." Arthur continued sadly as he remembered his son, Fred, "Well, they are actually only 5 brothers. Fred died in the Battle of Hogwarts almost 10 years ago."

"I'm so sorry, Mr," said Athena, placing her little hand on Arthur's.

Arthur said, patting her hand and smiling at her sadly, "Don't apologize, my little child."

Arthur continued, "Bill is my first child and your eldest brother. He is 38 years old. He is married and has 3 children. My second son and your second brother is Charles. He is 36 years old. He has not been married yet, and his non-marriage was the reason I knew you existed, my little Athena." He said while smiling for his daughter.

Athena said with signs of incomprehension on her face, "I don't understand. Why was his not getting married the reason?"

Arthur looked at Minerva and found her shaking her head No.

Arthur said, "It's a long story. Now is not the time to tell it."

Athena sighed and said, "Okay."

Arthur continued and said, "My third son and your third brother is Percy, he is 32 years old, married and has two children, and then my fourth and fifth sons, twins Fred and George, and they are your fourth and fifth brothers. As I told you, Fred died 10 years ago, and either George is 30 years old, married with two children, my sixth son and your sixth brother, Ron, he is 28 years old, married with two children, and finally my daughter and your sister Ginny , she is 27 years old, married with 3 children, but I think you already know a lot about her." And winked at her.

Athena laughed with joy and said, "Wow, this is wonderful, to have so many brothers and to have a sister."

Athena's face changed after she remembered something, and she looked at Arthur nervously and said, "Do they all have the same mother?"

"Yes, my child," said Arthur, "and she is my wife, Molly." He changed the subject, saying, "She wants to meet you, too, and get to know you."

Minerva looked at him with wide eyes and quickly shook her head No .

she wasn't ready yet to confront Molly.

"We might put that off a bit," Arthur said quickly.

Athena sighed and said, "My mother did not tell me much about her relationship with you or why you are not together, but she told me that she would explain it to me more when I get older."

Arthur said, "I agree with your mother on that, my little child."

Athena said, "Okay."

The conversation between Arthur and Athena continued for a number of hours. Athena wanted to know everything about Arthur and her siblings, and Arthur wanted to get to know her more as well.

The conversation continued until they began to feel hungry, so Minerva suggested that they eat together, and the conversation did not stop at the dining table. It continued, and with it continued laughter and familiarity between them.

"You really like strawberries," said Arthur, "I like them very much, too. They are my favourite, and all your siblings like them too. I think it is a quality you inherited from me, my little Athena."

Athena laughed and smiled at Arthur.

Minerva said, "I craved strawberries very much when I was pregnant with Athena, so I was not surprised that she loved them so much."

"It's happened with Molly in all her pregnancies," said Arthur, amazed. "She craved strawberries too."

And the three of them laughed, they looked like a real little family, eating and talking, father, mother and their daughter.

After the sun set, Arthur decided that it was time to return to his home, even though he had liked to sit and talk with his little daughter, Athena.

Athena said as she bid farewell to Arthur, "Will you come to visit me again? Will we meet again?"

Arthur said, "Sure, my little, I will visit you often." He took something out of a pocket and cast a spell on it to return it to its normal size. It was a small music box.

Arthur said, giving it to his daughter, "I made it for you a while ago, to give it to you when I meet you."

Athena took the box and opened it. It was a music box that played music when it was opened, and it had a small mirror. Instead of the dancing doll, there was a model of a Quidditch broomstick and a small cat on it.

Athena loved the gift very much and hugged Arthur and said, "Thank you, my Father. I loved it very much."

The word came out of Athena's mouth unconsciously, but she felt the familiarity between her and Arthur and felt comfortable to say it and calling him father.

Arthur was surprised when he heard the word Abi from Athena. He did not expect Athena to call him Father so quickly in their first meeting.

Arthur hugged Athena too and said, "I'm glad you liked the present, my little girl."

"Let's go," said Arthur, looking at Minerva.

Minerva said to her daughter Athena, "I will take your father to Hogsmeade and I will return immediately, my kitty."

They used the Floo powder to return to Minerva's house in Hogsmeade Village.

After her father and mother were gone from house .

Athena went to her room with her father's gift in her hand and a smile on her face.

She started asking herself , Is this what her friends who have two parents feel?

Athena was happy to meet her father and spend the day with her mother and father as a real family.

She placed the music box next to her bed. She was very excited about the idea of having so many brothers and a sister, and she started thinking about her new family while waiting for her mother to return.

Athena has finally met her father.
