Deep within a neighborhood that was part of Kuoh's residential area, there was single building that stood out amongst the others. It resembled a terrace building like those modern homes throughout England.

The structure compared to those around it which were made from marble, was made from bricks with a V-shaped roof and a single chimney. The front of the house had multiple windows which allowed one to gaze inside, allowing them to see that just like it's exterior the house's interior was that of a classic modern England home with furniture, multiple pictures ofa man in a military uniform saluting alongside his colleagues, some other photos of the same man in more casual clothes alongside people who seemed to be his parents and family. On the upstairs floor, the building being 2 stories tall, there were 3 guestrooms, a bedroom and a master bedroom which showed signs of constant use, and 4 bathrooms. The downstairs floor consisted of a kitchen connected to a living room.

All in all, it truly resembled a classic home of which a certain University coach resided in. He had bought this place shortly after he had transferred over to Japan a few years ago, when he had been searching for a home to reside in. From his currently standing in the bedroom, Karasuma had had a drawer and a mirror attached at the top of the drawer alongside a bathroom door nearby.

After dealing with some stuff in the bathroom, Karasuma moved up to his master bedroom before he sat down on the bed, shirtless after having removed his upper body's clothing which resulted in him showing a tattoo of a blue Maltese Cross on his back, various scars across his body whilst on his left shoulder was a saint mary tatoo whilst the right had a tattoo shaped like a Christian cross.

Reaching beside him where pieces of his new assemble had been placed, Karasuma slipped his arms into his black shirt, adjuting his hand collars before putting on his black vest. Once that was done, he grabbed the overcoat and did the same with it, before reaching out and grasping a black tie, securing it around his neck. He finally set it into place by putting a pin on where it was tied at.

Once he had completely suited up, the man turning to 180 degrees he spotted his assorted weaponry that had arrived a while ago, leisurely resting on his bed. That shop's delivery service had been rather prompt and precise, with there being next to no room for him to complain on that front. Seemed like the people involved were competent too, which only made sense considering the packages they usually handled on a daily basis. Plus Karasuma doubted that weapons dealer would hire incompetent morons for his staff.

He picked up several handgun ammo clips and placed them on his hips, and afterwards he picked up the GLOCK 24, scanning it briefly before cocking it. The man promptly placed it on his left thigh and repeated the process with the GLOCK 36. Though before placing in the holster on his right thigh, he briefly examined the ammo clips and the handgun itself before cocking it again. From there, he picked up the final piece to his arsenal: the night reaper, inspecting it by gazing at the metallic shine across its blade before he squatted down and slipped it into the sheath he'd placed on his left calf.

Once he was done with the sidearms he looked at the primary weapons: His shotgun the Benelli m4 and the AR15. He picked up the shotgun, placed some ammo inside the gun before cocking it. Placing it over his shoulder and securing the extra ammo patches to his waist, he picked up the AR 15. He ended up doing the same save for simply placing it's ammo inside it, cocking it before he held it in a manner that felt as nostalgic as it felt ominous.

Nevertheless, he was ready.

From there, the uni coach went to his desk and took out multiple files of the missing students alongside the police records. He had gotten those with the help of the director who had been ahead of what he was doing. Some of the police relatives also being kidnapped as well had helped speed the process along too, so they must have either owed a favor to him or wanted their family/friends brought back to safety.

He rammed through multiple files for a while, as if trying to know where the kidnappers have taken them. Normally it would take a while to find out but when he looked at the records of the houses he had noticed that there was one trait they shared in common: being nearby the abandoned church, something he confirmed after looking at the rest of these files.

Karasuma narrowed his eyes. It was no coincidence or a novice detective to figure out where the kidnappers had taken them. It was one of the main place for inspections but it might be just misintel. Karasuma didn't know if his students were there, but he'd take the chance, its a 50/50% gamble admittingly but he would take it, regardless

Once he'd confirmed his plan of action, Karasuma placed the files down and exited his room.

While descending down the stairs, the man was about to head to the main entrance when he stopped his movement right before opening his door. His eyes glanced to the side and looked towards the various pictures of his lifetime located in the living room, proudly displayed. During his time with the UKSF, in the special forces and other pictures. But the one that he was paying attention to is the one that looks like a British man that almost looks like him with a beard on his face, he was holding his younger self they looked happily at the camera.

He turns his head back and faced down, sighing as if he was reminiscing a memory which he could guess he was having a flashback. Mostly he tries to avoid some unnatural actions when it mostly gets him into trouble, even as an adult. The life of a soldier can never rest easy because their almost whole entire life war was a part of their life. Sometimes even having dreams of the battlefield where violence is the answer instead of politics.

Instead people in modern times throws away the violence concept because they think its brutal and barbaric which is not the way of their peaceful nature.

He almost would've believed it had not he recalled a question his father had asked him about whether violence was the answer. Sometimes it was hard to answer but he knew for one thing for certain.

Whilst he strode for the door, Karasuma muttered the answer to his father's question that he'd come up with during his time in the military. "Violence isn't a solution, it was a question people keep asking if it is. In most cases, they would say no… but the real answer, is when the situation calls or demands it, the answer shifts towards yes." He whispered before exiting his house and was at the front of his home's entrance. As he walked, shadows gradually began to cover his face whilst his eyes glowed with intense conviction.

He would get his students back safely, no matter if he lived or died.

Somewhere

Two teens, Issei and Asia, can be seen wandering down a sidewalk along their way back to the Hellsing HQ, laughing at one another after a joke had been told or something. The brunette male had his hand on the back of his head alongside an awkward expression on his face whilst the former Nun looked like she had spent an entire day getting pampered at a spa since she had this radiance about her, something which almost lit up her imminent vicinity. It never ceased bringing a smile to Issei's face since the moment it began.

Throughout the day, the two had spent it enjoying themselves and visiting places throughout the town mostly with Issei taking the lead. Heck, he sort of begun wondering if this was what tour guides did on a daily basis though judging by the excitement written all over his escort he'd say that any fears he had about being a bad guide would be unfounded. He may just have discovered a possible career path in the future if he got the chance.

Nevertheless, Asia had enjoyed it from what he'd seen since she had been a curious little thing, pointing to whatever she had seen that roused her interest which were a lot of things related to japanese history and culture. It had been a good thing that Issei had paid somewhat more attention to his history classes (mostly because those teachers were usually hot ladies with big oppai he fantasized about) because that knowledge helped him potentially score himself a new friend. It hadn't escaped his notice that Asia liked things that leaned more towards the supernatural side like stuff to do with anything angelic, likely to do with her past as a Nun in the Catholic Church.

Seeing that she had enjoyed herself this much brought much pleasure to the brunette male as well as that pure smile she exposed to him made him feel like he was as light as a feather. That was something that Issei found much more noteworthy than he expected though, for when was the last time a girl gave such a smile to him? A smile indicating full and complete trust in him, a pervert to the highest degree who loved oppai beyond any limits and who daily peeped at the girls kendo club? Issei could hardly think of the last time anything like that had happened, though he kept such depressing thoughts to himself since he didn't want to worry Asia, especially when he thought about what she'd went through before coming here.

Thinking about THAT stuff would light a vengeful fire inside Issei's gut, a fire strong and volatile enough to resemble a dragon's flame whenever they lit entire towns on fire in their countless tales. Jst the thought of how easily she had been discarded like yesterday's garbage, a sweet and pure girl like her who had absolute faith in God, made Issei want to give those higher-ups in the church a piece of his mind… as well as a bunch of fists to their crotch areas since they OBVIOUSLY didn't get any chances to use them… at least with willing participants.

Nevertheless, like his depressing thoughts Issei had kept those desires to himself as well in favor of showing Asia a good time… and for once, not in any perverted way.

Currently, the sun was about to set which had told the duo that it was time for them to cut their outing short and head back to the hellsing manor. As sad as it was the thought that this happiness couldn't last forever, it was undeniable for the duo that they had lots of fun today, with the both of them enjoying a slice of normalcy within the hectic chaos that was their lives within the supernatural world. Now though, now they needed to get back and Issei intended to escort Asia to the manor so she would be in Hellsing's protective custody.

Hopefully another day would come where they could spend time together again(Though Issei would have to endure the grueling horror of training). Maybe they could go to a new place or something, maybe he could even get her a new bible as a gift.

Thoughts like that filled Issei's mind while the duo walked through the path of the forest instead of the streets because there were other ways to head back to the mansion. Plus, there was a chance that they might have some unsavory encounters with local hoodlums under the cover of darkness, Issei would know this due to him and his pals almost going through things like that when spending all day in porno shops. Night lamps were starting to flicker which meant they were starting to turn on.

While they casually strolled through the concrete path to Hellsing, Issei began to frown to himself after hearing another funny story from Asia about her days inside the church orphanage before becoming the holy maiden. It hadn't been long now, but he had been getting this little feeling that someone was watching or stalking them, and no matter what he just couldn't shake this feeling alongside the one that he'd made some kind of mistake somewhere. But in the end he shook his head and decided that was just nothing for him to worry about. He ignored those instincts and instead spend his time with Asia during the day.

He thought it would go away.

Unfortunately however, Issei's instincts didn't lessen their acting up as time passed, in fact the longer they spent walking the greater the sense of danger he began to feel. It both shocked and disturbed him that this feeling had gotten this bad, he'd never felt anything more intensive than this before. Every hair on the back of his head felt like it had straightened up like cat's fur when they sense danger, his palms had started feeling sweaty and his forehead started feeling a little damp.

Dread began to increase each minute inside of his stomach, culminated when he felt some kind of gaze piercing into him from… somewhere, and that only added to his tension. Slowly, Issei turned his head around to try and locate the source of the gaze no matter how much his instincts screamed at him to take Asia's hand and run.

Finally, his gaze landed upon a space near them beneath a nearby night lamb that was flickering, where he got a glimpse of a scary figure standing couple feet away from him. Initially Issei couldn't describe what it was until later on, it slowly lifted its head and red eyes glint towards him.

This made Issei pale and quickly rubbed his eyes before looking again as he saw the figure wasn't there.

"PHEW! I think there was something out there Asia." Issei wiped the sweats from his forehead. "Must've been my imagination so no need to worry about it Asia….Asia?" Issei did not get a response from her. It made him confused why she did not speak.

His answers were followed when he heard a deep, chilling tone. "Hahahahahahahaha. You are more gullible than any other mortals I have ever seen, much less from you no certain."

Issei froze the moment he heard that voice, the haunting tone and the chills on his back making him shiver in fear before slowly he turned around to face the source despite both his instincts AND his brain screaming at him to run for his life. Perhaps he had been subconsciously aware of the futility behind such actions, but nonetheless all thoughts of leaving soon left his mind upon facing the horror that now stood before him. In front of him he was the most terrifying thing he has ever seen in his entire life, as well as the biggest with the lights within the lamp flickering for a bit before it completely turned on, showing the thing's full glory.

Midnight blue, lightning-streaked Armor in the shape of a humanoid stood beneath the lamp, a massive shadow enveloping the ground around it. The lamp light highlighted the symbols of a bleached skull with red coloured Chiropteran wings on the chestplat and knees, with glinting spikes located around the armor's bodyparts. The helmet also had Chiropteran wings on the sides, the helmet itself looking on the futuristic side with tubes protruding out the sides of the mouth.

The figure then spoke finally after some time, its voice deep and distorted by the helmet yet still clearly identifiable as masculine. "You have been away for quite some time now girl, you think you can just dilly dandy around the area while we don't notice?" He spoke towards the shivering Asia who couldn't stop the trembling her body was going through under his tone and look. The sheer malice behind it combined with his appearance and glowing red lenses succeeded in freaking her out beyond belief.

Issei, quickly noticing her emotional state, quickly ran in front of her before putting up a stance in front of the scary figure in front of him. The figure noticed this, but still mocked him while flicking his wrist as if he were flipping Issei off. "Do you really think you can hide behind the back of a sniveling coward, mortal girl? You are just but a twig that is easy to break by one small little step."

Despite the fear flooding him like a rushing river, Issei still fund the courage to yell out the following insult in anger. "S-shut the fuck up asshole! You don't know anything about me!" He bellowed, although it didn't have much weight behind it thanks to his legs starting to tremble.

"That is but a simple, weak little taunt mortals would say. You are one of them."

"Oh yeah? Well this little weak person can still kick your metal ass! Just because you are a scary looking thing doesn't mean you can scare me! I've been to other scary places, and you pale in comparison to them!" Issei declared, but despite his weak attempt at bravado inside his mind Issei kept searching for a way out of this. He knew for a fact that there would be no way he could last in a hard fight between him and the thing in front of him, so his main priority should be to get Asia out of here.

Unlike him, Asia wasn't really a fighter due to having not been trained in such arts due to her upbringing. Not to mention her feeble personality made her unfit for such a harsh role on the front lines, everyone in Hellsing could admit to that about the blonde girl. Speaking of Hellsing, Issei felt marginably calmer when that name entered his mind which he counted as a blessing, since that place would be filled with people who could help keep Asia away from these assholes. As long as that happened, he didn't care what happened to himself as a consequence.

Therefore he turned to Asia. "Run Asia! Go as fast as you can! Get help quickly!"

"B-but what about you?"

"I'll be fine Asia just go!" he repeated what he said to her, not wanting her to stay here or get into the crossfire between him and this… thing.

Nevertheless, Asia briefly hesitated thanks to wanting to be at Issei's side right when he obviously needed the support, his legs trembling was proof enough of that. However, as much as she wanted to she couldnt due to her not being able to handle herself in a real fight. Her multiple years travelling hadn't been filled with too many confrontations so she didn't have any fighting skills and her Sacred Gear was more for a support role than outright combat. Therefore, as much as she wanted to stay at his side she listened to him and quickly ran away from the duo.

Now it was Issei and the figure in front of them, a fact which the brunette pervert became quick to point out with a smug smirk on his face. "Now its just you and me motherfucker."

"Hahahahahaha! Honestly boy I'll give you a little credit for being brave, but who said that I a night lord is alone?"

"AAAAHHHHHHH!"

"ASIA!" Issei screamed her name when he saw ahead of them was another same figure which they called themself as night lords. Asia was being held in a armhold by another night lord. There was a few of them coming out of the shadows as well. Issei face became angry as he attempts to jump at them. "LET HER GO-"

BAM!

"ARGH!" Issei screamed in pain as one of them punched Issei in the stomach and threw him a few distance away, he skid a few feets before rolling and stopping. Issei groaned in pain of how a night lord has backhanded him. He weakly puts his hand on the ground before looking up as he saw the night lord talking to each other.

"I got the girl brother, just before she could inform Hellsing."

"Good, its better to not have one loose end, especially her. Take her back to where she belongs."

"Gladly so, brother."

"IIISSSSSEEIIII!"

"ASIA!" Issei put his hand forward, attempting to reach Asia' own from a few feets away but was stomped on the head by another night lord.

"What should we do with him brother?"

"Break him, crush him bones and limbs. Make him endure the antagonizing pain we're known for. This foolish mortal, he claims there's nothing to scare him. Why don't we show him what true fear is?"

"It will be my pleasure." two night lords red eyes glint in acceptance and promising pain. A few of the night lords then promptly left the area taking Asia with them, leaving only two night lords looming over the struggling brunette as he attempted to get up. Such attempts promptly got halted when he got grabbed by a Night Lord on the head; he attempted to get out of the grip but all his efforts ended in vain thanks to the grip's inhuman strength. "You care for the witch girl and yet you let her run on her feets"

BAM!

He slammed Issei on the ground, making cracks erupt from the concrete beneath him which spread a full 6 meters in all directions from the force. Naturally, Issei spat out blood from the impact and closed one eye in pain.

The other night lord approached Issei and did a follow up sentence. "You said you would protect her, but in the end you didn't. You failed her, someone you cherished. Instead, you relied on your pathetic friends for a task you should have done yourself."

BAM!

Raising his armored leg, the Night Lord wound up slamming his foot onto Issei's back cracking his bones and his spine in several places. It was only thanks to weeks of enduring training he did with Theseus and Kuroh he was enduring the pain… not to mention they had avoided destroying his spine completely to prolong the pain and suffering.

"You tried to be the hero in her eyes, a damsel in distress but there is one thing that all heroes share one common thing: they all die meaningless deaths."

The night lord raised his leg and kicked Issei out of the hole, making him fly a few feet away before impacting a tree.

Crumbling down to the ground in a mangled heap, Issei did NOT look very good. He was literally bleeding all over from his head, with bloody trails falling down the sides of his forehead with one of them forcing one eye closed to stop the blood from getting inside. Despite the flames of agony consuming his body, the male set about gritting his teeth, enduring all the torture those night lords were doing to him both physical and mentally. He had to, he refused to let them think they would get anything out of his misery.

Again he was grabbed by one of the the Night Lords who forced Issei to look at the red, glazing lenses the helmet sported.

"No matter what you do, you will never get to see her smiles. It would be all your fault because you let her escape from us, she will be punished because of you. And it will be you who is responsible."

WHAM-WHAM-WHAM-WHAM-WHAM-WHAM!

That is, before the hulking being started slamming his back repeatedly into the tree before pulling backwards and force slamming him on the tree with enough strength to break his back alongside the tree behind him. Casually, the Night Lord then flicked his wrist which resulted in him tossing the barely conscious Issei like a used sack of trash, making him roll a few feet away.

"Men are brave, but even a bravest man cannot save everyone, let alone themselves. They all eventually submit to their fears, letting it take over them which then reduces them to nothing more than primitive animals. Your fear over losing the witch is what made you weak."

Coughing up blood again to the point where his vision started to get blurry while his body shuddered from the cold chills born from blood loss, Issei still struggled to get onto his knees as both Night lords loomed over him, darkness enveloping their entire figures leaving their red eyes glint in the shadows.

Their mocking gazes ignited Issei rage which quickly overcame him, hatred cloud his mind which made him ignore the taunts and pain he was going through with the night lords. He closed his hand, making a fist and grinding his teeth.

"Give up, surrender to fear. Resistance is futile, let it take over your mind and you might be spared."

Issei looked up at the night lord, blood flowing from his head and dripping down his chin. Looking at hatred over the night lords before spatting out a blood on the foot of the night lord. "F-fuck y-you b-bastard. I-I'll never give in, I'll never surrender."

"Hmmm, disappointing."

"It seems you've chosen something far different then."

One of the night lords, after hearing the brunette's defiance, shook his head in mock disappointment. Through his increasingly blurry vision Issei could tell this due to the way the said Night Lord chuckled ominously, telling him that both were likely taking some sort of twisted glee in tormenting him. He'd have LOVED to give those assholes the middle finger right now but just about everything hurt inside.

While this happened, one of the Night Lords took out a metallic sword… though comparing it to normal swords one could quickly see the differences. Instead it has midnight blue color with their icon on the side of the metal hilt. Additionally, one could see a row of razor sharp teeth connected to some sort of chain that run along a single-edged blade, like that of a chainsaw.

Which soon became a good comparison when the same Night Lord began to rev it up.

VRRROOOOOOOMMMMMM!

The teeth quickly started moving like a chainsaw whereas smoke started coming out from the engine.

"Now you shall embrace true terror, even in your death you will forever be haunted."

When the night lord lift the chainsaw up at the sky. He was about to saw off Issei from limb to limb as slowly as possible so as to prolong the torture as much as possibe. At this point Issei's vision began to clear a bit, but the brunette male knew death was coming to him.

Instead of accepting it however, he growled in defiance despite how his throat protested against this action. 'No no! I can't die here! I won't die from these fuckers! It won't end here! I have to get up and beat those motherfuckers! Come on body move! Move for God sake! If I don't…..Asia will be gone forever.' he tried to mentally command his body to move, but the fatique and pain that took a hold of his nervous system put a stop to those intentions. He could not move even an inch.

Just as the night lord was about to chop Issei's arms off, the revving blade just inches away from his flesh…

"SiX RODS! PRISON OF LIGHT!"

A feminine voice rung out across the area followed by a spell being announced. Following it, a spark of yellow energy briefly ignited before six thin, wide beams of light slammed into the night lords midsection and held them in place by wrapping around them, sealing their movements.

"WHAT?!"

"WHO DARES INTERFERE?!"

Furious roars filled the air like countless shrieking bats whilst the Night Lords struggled against their bonds, which like Issei's previous struggles ended in vain. Whoever had cast this spell had put ample power into it if it could hold people like THEM in place.

Speaking of the spellcaster, Issei's blurry vision took hold of a figure rushing towards him from within a bright light near him, probably a teleportation circle or something. His consciousness starting to fade, the male barely noticed the stiletto black heels and matching stockings that disappeared into a long blue formal dress. Nonetheless, his mind barely recalled the one person who had such features on their person. "M-Mere…dith…?"

Meredith was able to arrive in time to save Issei from death again. How she was able to find where Issei is? Thats because she sensed Issei release his energy as a distress beacon, an emergency spell when someone is in trouble. "We're getting out of here now." Meredith announced before lifting her fingers and casted a teleport magic circle.

"COWARDS! COME BACK HERE AND FACE US!"

"DO YOU THINK YOU CAN ESCAPE FROM US?! WE'LL FIND YOU AND WHEN WE DO YOU WILL WISH DEATH HAD MERCY ON YOU!"

Rants and ravings full of insanity and bloodlust filled the air, sending chills down Meredith's spine although she promptly ignored them in favor of activating another teleportation circle around them. Her spell wouldn't last much longer, and she had put an ample amount of her Mana into casting that spell. Should those two ruffians break free in the following seconds, the head of Hellsing in Japan feared she wouldn't be able to do much about it.

Fortunately her teleportation circle activated in the nick of time, the object promptly glowing before the duo wound up disappearing away from the scene, making the two howl in fury against Meredith.

Later

"Ah! Oof! Gaah! Ah goddamit it hurts!"

"Hold still already! I won't be able to properly restore you!" Michel ordered Issei, currently applying some medicine and cleaning the blood off of the wailing brunette strapped to an operating table. "You're going to be fine, just a bit more!"

Currently, the trio of him, Meredith and Issei were located within the Hellsing manor and to be more specific the doctor's hospital room. Meredith had promptly arrived in the manor's living room where Michael had coincidentally been enjoying some classic british Tea. The moment that he had seen the sorry state that Issei had been put into he had immediately put the teacup down with a grimly serious look on his face, outright DEMANDING that he be brought to his workplace.

Of course, nobody questioned or complained about such demands at this moment in time.

As for the whole recovery process, it wasn't so simple. While it was true that he had managed to stop the copious amounts of bleeding to prevent further bloodloss to the brunette, there had been little he could do to ease the deep pain was still there from the night lords torment of the poor lad. The doctor had to reluctantly admit that whoever had done this to his patient had been rather thorough and must have had ample experience in torturing people for the injuries and damages he'd observed had been too… precise, for lack of a better term. Those injuries also told him that Meredith had been one lucky lass to have gotten out when she had, for if they could do THIS to Issei what they could do to her sounded even MORE dangerous. Their leader could have quite literally been tortured to death, and that would not have gone over well with Hellsing.

Speaking of said leader, Meredith sat on a seat close to the room's entrance with one stocking-clad leg crossed over the other, observing the scenario with rapt attention which resulted in her watching Issei frantically struggle to bear the pain leaving his body. One could say that him getting off scott free without being traumatized was a blessing from the lord almighty himself, with the greatest 'anchor' being the smiling face of a certain blonde nun.

The state Issei had been brought to reminded her of his tormentors gave Meredith pause as a grim frown formed on her lips, her brows becoming crinkled as she cupped her chin with a white-gloved right hand. 'Night lords…' the woman mused mentally, already imagining the headaches the fact that another enemy that was in Kuoh city would be giving her. One big hint to the scale behind this problem would be that she couldn't even sense their location or when they have arrived which attested to the level of sneaky bastardry they had. They not only intruded on their territory, but they also had the GALL to kidnap Asia Argento someone under her organization's protection for the time being

Such a humiliation could NOT go unavenged.

While she pondered on how to punish those fools by choking them with their own intestines (yeah, she felt pissed at the moment) Meredith has a thought but she could very well tell they might be working with the fallen angels. She would definitely have a word with Azazel.

Michel, seeing Issei being fully recovered of his outside wounds but the internal injuries are something he would require more attention to if he had more surgenic equipment. Issei would die sooner or later if it doesn't get healed so he went to his doctors bag, rammed through it before pulling out a small bottle.

Michel walked towards the now conscious boy. "W-whats that?"

"Phoenix tear, made from a tear of a living phoenix. Rare species from them and are hard to get, they heal much more faster and durable than the Phenex tear. Open wide." the doctor ordered Issei to open his mouth which he complied, opening the cord, twisting it before dropping the tear to Issei's mouth. When it dripped to his tongue, his body was glowing in light orange color. Issei could feel his inner body was feeling better now.

Meredith approached Issei which the doctor unstrapped his bind. Issei was slowly adjusting himself, still feeling the phantom pain those fuckers did to him. "Issei." she called out to his name, making him look at her serious expression. "I want you to tell me about those…..night lords you called them. How were they able to hide under our noses?" she questioned him, even though he doesn't know much about them but her teacher might since she has connection all over the world.

Issei looked down for a while, reminiscing the memories from before. "I…..don't know how Meredith. They were literally like ghost, as if they were able to hide in the shadows. They literally approached us when we were close to the mansion. I was scared, their presence reminds me of a horror show or a killer." he grips his hand making it into a fist. "It was my fault, I should've waited more longer if I hadn't let Asia run away." He lift his head with determination and got out of the bed. "I have to get Asia back."

Meredith stopped him from continuing further. "No you are not Issei."

"What the hell are you doing Meredith?! Are you stoping me from saving Asia, isn't she your friend also as well?!"

"I will not tolerate you tarnishing the times she has spent with me Issei but your mind is not clear. Listen to me, those night lords you called them are mysterious, we don't know much about them but we know that they were easily able to defeat you. Lets not forget you almost died had not I arrived to rescue you in time." Meredith explained, making issei understand her a bit better though that didn't make him throw his determination away judging from the defiant look in his eyes. "I'm trying to help preserve your life. An agent of Hellsing or not we don't want to throw your life away like it was garbage."

Issei did not speak to her for a while as he shakily grip his fist hard for a while. Processing the information Meredith has told her. "It was a lucky shot. I didn't see it coming." he still persisted, getting up from the table before proceeding to stumble towards the door.

"Are you an idiot?" she called out to him. "Those beings would kill you like a snap of a twig! Not to mention how they pretty much love to inflict pain on you! I know these type of people Issei and they will use whatever means to break your mind and body, you'll be practically begging for death to come and give you its embrace! Are you trying to throw away your own life, just to save a single person?!"

"Yes I am!" Issei did not hesitate to answer her question in a loud shout that silenced the auburn haired Hellsing leader, the brunette male not facing her while he had his head lowered down. "Asia had no one in her life who gave a shit about her. She had no friends or family, she'd always been alone back when she had been a part of the church, practically no one wanted to be her friend, all because of her sacred gear and her 'status'. Things only got worse not better when she was exiled by those selfish bastards, but that doesn't matter right now!" He bellowed, briefly shaking his head before continuing in a remorseful, sorrowful tone. "I promised and gave her my word that I would be her friend she has been trying to achieve. She's pure and innocent, so I refuse to stay back while she was taken away, I refuse to let her go! She…doesn't deserve this type of fate, she fucking never did…" Issei explained, slowly reducing his voice down to a whisper by the end.

Meredith was silent for a moment, listening to every word Issei spoke to her. For the most part, she felt a bit moved by his passionate speech which took her aback with how unexpected it was for him to declare all this. Asia was as pure as a holy maiden, just like her title declared her as, not to mention she knew what life could be like for an important figure. They never had an easy life, people avoided them out of the belief that they were not worthy of their presence, sometimes even going as far as to stay far away from them.

If that wasn't bad enough then there was the enormous pressure placed onto their shoulders, some before they even take up the position. There were times when people just crack under the pressure or times where more often than not these people in high positions leave them looking worse than they'd entered them. The stress, the solitude and the sheer indignity of it all made it so that only those with a certain mentality could handle such an arduous burden… one which did NOT fit Asia at all in Issei's eyes. She was just too much of a happy girl seeking the simple things in life she never got to experience as a child.

And yet, those bastards (Issei didn't give a shit what they were called at this point) would try to take all of that away from her? Not while he was still breathing!

So with that thought in mind, Meredith closed her eyes and sighed in resignation especially when the moment she gazed at his back she saw a brief silhouette of a certain someone who gave her cause for distress recently. "If that is your choice Hyouduo, then I will not stop you. But there is another matter to consider." she opened her eyes and her serious expression returned. "Where can you find Asia where you don't know where to look?"

Issei widened his eyes in realization, Meredith brought up a good point to him. Where can he find Asia and where have the night lords taken her? He didn't know where the hell they are nor where to even start looking! Ugh! Why do these things have to be so fucking complicated for him?! 'Dammit they could be anywhere in Kuoh city or somewhere…!' The said brunette cursed in his mind as his brain worked overtime on trying to find a solution to this problem

Just as he was about to take a guess on where the night lords could be, Kuroh arrived at the room matching Meredith expression. He already knows the situation due to listening to the conversation between the brunette and Meredith, also Issei's strong declaration speech. With the look on his face Meredith could assume he might know where they are.

"They could be in the abandoned church." Kuroh answered with a heavy tone.

Meredith was confused what he meant by the abandoned church. When her brain began to work in a million directions she finally remembered the time when Vali and Kuroh reported to her where the fallen angels reside. Her eyes widened as a result as she clicked her index finger and thumb together. "Of course!" She proclaimed, before turning her head to the side and cursing her lack of foresight. "How could I be such an idiot?"

Issei was confused what they meant by the abandoned church. "That old place? How can you be sure of it Kuroh? Its been abandoned before I was even born and no one has ever…used it." he was about to ask Kuroh a question before he also caught on to Meredith's realization. "Ohhhhh! I get it! Its a perfect hideout, no one would ever use it! How can I not think of that before, I should've realized it when Asia said she was being sent to the church!" Issei exclaimed in a stunned tone, putting his fist into his palm.

Kuroh nodded his head in agreement. "Yes, we all should've foreseen this. That is where the fallen angels reside and its likely that they were the ones who contacted the Night Lords. If there's one place they could be, it's somewhere people would least expect it to be." Kuroh explained calmly, confident in this idea.

"We do not have that much time, come on Issei. You're not going there all by yourself." Kuroh intensely declared, the brunette male nodding in response with the both of them exiting out of the room and heading straight to the church.

Having decided to remain behind to protect their stronghold, especially considering there were still priority protection targets within these walls, Meredith gazed at the door where they left the room. She shook her head at the thought of sending additional reinforcements, there weren't that many with combat potential here and she could not send Theseus to the church because they need someone to defend the hellsing manor now that the Night Lords revealed themselves.

The two girls Mio and Maria, the said protection targets also wouldn't be getting involved. Them going out alone was risky enough but then there was the fact that they were sleeping, so the only thing she could do would pray for their safety.

"Good luck Kuroh, Issei. May God give you enough grace to survive against the foe."

Somewhere

The cold chill of the nighttime air bit against his skin as he waded on through the forest, almost gracefully crawling across the ground beneath as many bushes or other forms of greenery he could find. Occasionally Karasuma would have to swat some bushes aside to continue since he had taken a path uncommonly used to avoid possible encounters under the cover of darkness, which he currently used to mask his approach.

Even though he had not reached his destination yet, the tension inside of him remained stubbornly palpable as Karasuma silently made his way towards the area where the abandoned church was, his movements as ghostly as a wraith. Thing was, the church had a bit of forestry around it like some sort of circular moat protecting a castle, meaning that when moving through it like he was Karasuma had very little moonlight to help him navigate through the bushes.

Yet, despite the quiet silence dominating the atmosphere every sound made felt several times louder to the uni coach, his ears twitching every now and then as he grappled against the urge to suddenly draw his Night Reaper knife against the source of even the smallest sounds. Such was the state of alert that he was in right now, every cell in his body poised to react to the slightest sign of danger as he neared his target destination, the proof being that he could see the abandoned church's darl silhouette coming into focus ahead of him. Its massive form loomed over him in the distance, almost hauntingly so and seemingly beckoning him to come towards it like those sirens in those tales sailors used to regal one another with, giving it a rather ghostly and creepy vibe.

Nevertheless, Karasuma didn't let that stop him. He'd been in tougher scenarios with way higher stakes back during his time with the UK military.

At long last, Karasuma stopped moving and hid within some bushes before the building, the man having peered through some holes in the greenery to get a better look at what he would be dealing with. His instincts had told him he would not be getting inside easily, and when he examined the place his instincts got proven correct.

The Abandoned church had a full rectangular barricade around it consisting of metal fences, a single tall gate in the middle to ward it off from the outside. The fencing also possessed some brick walls around its base, making it a unique hybrid of the two... but that wasn't what got Karasuma's attention the most.

No, HIS gaze remained focused on two individuals guarding the gate... although the coach could hardly call them such considering they wore armour that looked as bulky as it did unnerving. Their armour seemed blue in colour, although he wasn't sure due to a lack of light, the moon above having been blocked by the trees, and he could make out some spikes and helmets concealing their faces. The most notable trait, however, was the lenses within the helmets which glowed a bright yellow, like a pair of cat eyes that illuminated the shadows. They were the one thing Karasuma could see clearly, and even though they weren't gazing at his position the man got the sensation that they could peer right into his soul regardless.

Looking at them gave Karasuma the chills, the hairs on the back of his neck rising straight upwards while his heart started pounding like a jackhammer. Their visages resembled the hauntingly chilling creatures that went bump in the night, somewhat like bats if he thought about it, alongside the downright otherworldly air about them. Karasuma could tell just by looking at them that those two were not normal, that he should not go up against them.

He could also guess that based off what he'd gleaned from his intel, that they were part of the group who kidnapped the citizens.

'Two, likely more inside...'

Karasuma frowned to himself within his hiding place as he observed his enemy as best he could. He didn't want to wait too long or the moonlight could shine on them which would give him a better visual, but also highlight Karasuma's position should he try to sneak past them. They weren't too far away from him either, so they would probably hear him no matter how hard he tried to remain quiet. He would have to have some kind of distraction.

Looking to the side, the uni coach noticed another section of greenery that would lead him to the side of the fence. He remembered his initial map of the church, realizing that there would be a side entrance he could use to get inside. There may not be any guards there and considering this was an infiltration mission Karasuma didn't want to risk open confrontation with these guys. He wasn't NEARLY equipped enough to deal with armored targets like these anyways.

Therefore, Karasuma promptly skulked back behind his bush and started making his way further south, further away from the main gate and the guards there. He briefly put his finger in his mouth and then held it up to check the wind direction, which told him it was moving from west to east. That meant that his smell wouldn't be going to those guards either, as previous investigations of crime scenes showcased a possibility of there being those with good senses of smell.

Eventually, he reached a far enough distance and thus promptly dashed along to the greenery on the other side of the walkway leading towards the abandoned church. Much to Karasuma's relief, the guards hadn't noticed him seemingly and instead, they stood as still as statues. From a distance, one would be hard-pressed to even consider them as living beings due to their stillness, though the uni coach remained unfooled.

Stopping moments later, Karasuma found himself hiding behind a tree opposite the side wall, which consisted of both fence and brick work just like the main gate, with a smaller side gate in the middle. Peering at it, Karasuma couldn't see any signs of a guard there, which may have seemed like there weren't any but his instincts told him to be cautious. He always trusted his instincts in times like these, since in battle they were the difference between life and death in many scenarios.

Slowly moving forwards, Karasuma crawled in a kneeling position towards the wall beside the gate, pressing his back against it once he reached it before glancing towards the side entrance. Ignoring the hooting of some owls nearby, the man slowly slid towards the gate inch by inch, feeling his heart pounding rapidly within his ribcage until he just reached the entrance. The man then slowly cast his gaze around it, peering through the fence to see whether or not the coast was clear. Deep down he hoped that it was...

But the saying 'fate can be a cruel mistress' could be applied here when Karasuma saw a THIRD silhouette close to the church entrance, the one behind the side one he himself was next to.

'Tch, should have figured it wouldn't be so easy…'

Karasuma hummed to himself as he looked down at his gear to see what he could use to distract the silhouette until he checked again and noticed that the guard seemed to be facing off to the side. Why that was, he didn't know but with the way the guard stood Karasuma could sense that he wouldn't be seeing him should he try to climb over the fence itself.

Thus, that was what he did, quickly taking off his suit jacket Karasuma threw it upwards onto the fence to cover the sharp tips that would have impaled his gut otherwise, then he jumped on top of it and vaulted over like an Olympic gymnast, making sure to land on the brick wall so that he could hop down as quietly as possible. He landed on all fours and, after quickly scanning his immediate vicinity, hid behind a corner that left him behind the guard in question.

After waiting for a few precious moments to see if there were any signs he'd been heard, Karasuma promptly squatted down started slowly creeping towards the guard like a wraith, moving as silent as a chill breeze.

The closer he got, the more details that Karasuma was able to identify about the guard. Either he had good genetics or this guard had done something stupid because this guy was at least between 7 to 8 feet tall if he were to guess. Unlike the ones outside, this one didn't have a helmet which allowed him to see the pale skin located at the back of his neck, implying that every part of his skin was the same kind of albino-like complexion. The man's hair looked scraggy, dishevelled and a downright mess like he hadn't ever seen a comb before, and as he got closer Karasuma internally thanked his fortunes the man didn't seem to radiate any BO.

Though that last part confused him somewhat, he pushed it to the back of his mind favoring his current objective.

It naturally wasn't long before he got within arm's reach of the unsuspecting guard, but at that moment Karasuma noticed that he had begun to turn. His pupils slanted and his breah hitched as he instinctually grasped his opportunity before it would be taken away from him. In a burst of motion, the uni coach grabbed the guards mouth by wrapping his said hand around his jaw and locking him into a chokehold in the following seconds. Briefly hearing some startled grunts from the guard who dropped the weapon he was holding (which seemed to be a sword-like melee weapon like the ones outside), Karasuma pulled him backwards so he would lose his balance before he struck him with the final blow. That blow took the form of him reaching down for his Night Reaper and then he promptly stabbed him in the side of the neck, plunging the weapon as deep as it would go.

"?!"

A loud grunt escaped the guard's mouth when he felt the metallic weapon dig through his flesh, his eyes widening in horror as he came to terms with his situation and struggled to break free before his life could leave him. The knife had indeed gone into a vital spot so if he didn't hurry then the claws of death would grabhim and escort him to oblivion for eternity.

After about a minute consisting of brief struggling from the Guard…

SLUMP!

Sensing that his pray had gone motionless in his departure to the other side, Karasuma slowly began moving back around the previous so he could dispose of the body without the possibility of being detected. Though this took more effort than he had anticipated since the guard had been a rather heavy fellow, actually reminding the coach of a small vehicle and by the end of it his back felt like it would be torn apart at any second in terms of how aching it felt.

'Tch, I must be more out of shape than I first thought…' The man couldn't help but remark in a slightly bitter manner.

Nevertheless, he pushed that aside before beginning his journey towards the church entrance. He approached it carefully, making sure not to make too much noise as to attract the guards at the main gate. One of them was a bit of a fluke if one asked him, especially considering his usual superhuman strength which sometimes even surprised HIM with it's potency, but multiple ones? Karasuma didn't want to test his luck and even if he did, it was likely he'd be dealing with more than 2 eventually in that scenario.

Once he stood in front of the church entrance, Karasuma promptly grasped its doorknob and slowly twisted it open before sliding it open just enough for him to slip inside. Simply throwing it open would likely alert ANY defenders inside, a rookie error that ANY person knowledgeable about military concepts would want to clobber someone over if they made it.

Closing the church door behind him as quietly as possible, Karasuma raised his head to survey his surroundings with a cautious gaze, tension seething within his muscles like a viper ready to pounce on unsuspecting prey.

Now there was something to note here, and that was that he'd been in various infiltration missions during his time with the UK military either in the commonwealth countries or across the middle east on various campaigns to deal with hidden threats that would have endangered her majesty the queen's subjects. Thanks to those missions he'd seen his fair share of creepy establishments among other things which would have made the average person want to run for the hills and pray for an end to the nightmares they'd undergo. There was a LOT of messed up shit in the middle east after all.

This church had seemed to him like it'd be another one to add to the list, but…

Karasuma could honestly admit he'd underestimated how much of a disturbing sight it's interior was.

He currently stood at the back of a church hall where one would usually sit at for the usual sermons or infant baptisms. However, NONE of the usual holy feeling could be seen at play here, for practically EVERYTHING looked like it had been smashed to pieces. The seats looked to have been hit several times by multiple large sledge hammers due to how broken and shattered they were, bits of debris and splintered pieces of wood being scattered across the ground beneath his feet. Bloody symbols that Karasuma recognized as occult ones could be seen written across the walls and ceiling above, and judging from what his nose was telling him the blood was fresh, meaning that it had been done rather recently.

Whoever had done this must REALLY despise religion as a whole to go so far…

With these thoughts in mind, Karasuma slowly but surely started walking throughout the church hall, keeping to whatever cover he could find in case he would be ambushed, a real possibility when in enemy territory like this. Normally it would be a rookie mistake to come to a night mission without nightgear, but luckily Karasuma had remembered to bring some night-vision goggles, having tucked them inside his flak jacket hidden beneath his suit's jacket (the one he'd used for the fences that he'd put back on afterwards).

Putting the goggles on, the man went and activated them.

WHIIIIINNNNNNEEEEEE!

Whining sounds accompanied the goggles starting to boot up before green vision overtook the uni coach's gaze. Karasuma can now see the dark, though when he did he quickly ran to a nearby stone pillar when his instincts started screaming at him that someone had been coming. Soon enough, he got proven right to do so when he heard multiple footsteps heading his way

He pressed himself at the pillar while trying to avoid their contact. Soon their footsteps were getting louder and louder until they stopped. That was when they decided to talk.

"I could've sworn I saw someone coming through the entrance."

"It must be that pigment of your mind messing with you. There is no one here brother, and even if they were, no man would be foolish enough to come here."

"Don't think I know about that already idiot? I did see the door was recently opened and closed, my eyes do not lie so my mind is not making things up!"

"Well then why not check outside to see where they are then? See if that feeble tiny brain yours actually works!"

"You dare mock me?!"

"Maybe if you weren't so distracted last time, we wouldn't had to endure those punishments our brothers gave to us! All because of one simple fucking mistake you made that almost cost our lives! A spineless coward, thats what you are!"

"Call me that one more time, and I swear by the deepest pits of the abyss I will gauge out your eyeballs and eat them right in front of you!"

Keeping an ear out whilst listening to the conversation, Karasuma began sensing an argument was coming up so it might be the perfect distraction for him to continue further in. Those two honestly sounded like two brats squabbling over who got to play their favorite games more, if one was to ask him. Thankfully his own family had no such problems when raising him, being an only child and all.

'Alright, lets see where they are keeping my studen-'

"?!"

However when he was about to, his instinct suddenly overloaded him with a wave of anxiety, fear and terror. He stiffened up immediately, his body shaking in fear revolving around something he doesn't know was going on. It was like death had come for him personally with the chills on his back feeling like a subzero environment.

He got his answer when large and deep footstep was like a robot machine.

BOOM!

BOOM!

BOOM!

BOOM!

It was getting louder and louder, his heartbeat was also rapidly beating as fast like a race car engine. It stopped all a sudden which Karasuma did not move for a while before a voice of deep and heavy tone was heard.

"Enough of this childish nonsense. I am getting very frustrated and annoyed each second I hear both of your voices. It makes want to ripe out your flesh and muscle, stuff it in my ears so I won't have to hear your pointless banter."

"W-we understand that brother. It-its just that I saw the front entrance of the church being opened."

"I tried to tell him there was no one there but he just didn't listen!"

"So, you think there's someone here in the church then?"

"I dare not lie to you brother."

"Hmmmmmmm…"

Karasuma did not like the situation that is going on now. He swore to never have felt any fear of death coming to him, during the times of him being in the special force death was almost a common thing for him and his fellow soldiers. Over years of hard work and training, they managed to overcome the fear of death when even knowing that it will eventually happen anytime.

This however, exceeded something he never experienced and felt before. That mysterious thing that was leaking out that deathly aura around the area... He's not sure if even his training and absurd strength would help him in the situation. Fear was about to take over his mind, telling him to save his own life instead of the victims.

Though just before it could take hold the last remnant of his sanity retook control as the man schooled his features. 'No! I can't let it take over my mind!' Karasuma mentally roared, obviously seeming uncharacteristically shaken by such an experience which he hadn't gone through in years since he last learned under his father. The man then shook his head a few times, clearing the remaining remnants of the mental fear and terror. Years of training were finally taking over, his eyes sharpening in determination. 'I can't let it take over my mind, I will not let anything get in my way!' with determination he overcame his urges to flee like some of those whiny cowards who would even flee from the slightest hint of trouble.

Once he had sufficient control over himself, Karasuma continued to listen.

"Then I will take up your word for it. I will inform our brother leader about the potential intruder, but know this neophyte: If your assumption is wrong…then you'll join the others in the screaming gallery. I will enjoy your beautiful screams like music to my ears."

"(GULP)! I-I will brother!"

"Good, now then be sure to check the prison. I want to make sure we are not missing anyone for the grand opportunity that is coming."

"As you command, brother."

Now this is the opportunity he can't miss. Karasuma needs to follow the one who was heading to the prison where they kidnapped the intruders and people. Soon the thundering footstep was walking away, he heard it was slowly going away before he can't hear any of it. He stepped forward and quickly walked around the column before in his night vision googles, he sees the guard was walking away which means he's heading to the prison.

Quickly while keeping crouched, Karasuma walked a few feet away from him while making sure to stay as quiet as possible, something that he'd been doing a lot up till now and would be continuing to do till he got the victims out of here. It was like cat and mouse when the guard did a 180 turn, Karasuma made sure to stay close by a column or slam himself by a wall, making sure to not get spotted by him or the other pale guards as well.

Alas, the further he went the harder it became to navigate throughout the abandoned church thanks to the number of guards constantly increasing. Some had helmets, others didn't which exposed some hellish-looking visages one would only see in their worst nightmares. He could only count his lucky stars that he'd managed to keep his breath steady and his heartbeat under control.

Soon the guard stopped by an old century door, which he then opened and did one final check before entering it. Karasuma saw the door he entered, figuring that the kidnapped victims were likely in there. He looked around one last time before slowly walking to the door…but before he could take more than a few steps the uni coach stopped when two guards suddenly walked past it into view with another heading in his direction.

Quickly he looked around for any cover before his own would be blown leading to an end he'd rather not think about, Karasuma's gaze landing on a destroyed stone cross which could give him what he needed to hide from the pale guards. Acting quickly, Karasuma quickly dashed towards it and lay down behind the destroyed stone cross, making sure to keep an eye on their movement.

It took them a while to get past the doors and the area around him, but when they did Karasuma slowly rose before proceeding to move on all fours like some kin of four-limbed animal, crawling silently towards his destination while keeping a cautious eye on the retreating guards. Like an assassin he did not get caught once by them, for if he did then he would've been dead meat.

At long last, Karasuma stood in front of the door whereas behind it would probably be his students and those who were kidnapped by these men. He didn't rest despite his body's weary state, knowing that if he did he'll waste more precious time. This was not a game nor a show where people sure managed to get past the guards while being lucky, more than a few times Karasuma had close shaves with these guards with the toll of the operation slowly placing itself on him.

Though considering this was his first infiltration mission in a while, Karasuma could say that so far things were going well… which concerned him instead of built his confidence.

Sharpening his eyes and taking out his AR15, Karasuma took to opening the door before slipping inside.
