Sometimes all a heart wants to know is that it is not alone, that there is someone else out there that cares about it, that feels for it, even in the slightest way, all it desires is to be touched even with the smallest hair used by a brush. If left alone then that heart will feel loneliness and despair deeper than any ocean could hope to match, and if that happens, only another heart that finally reaches out to it, will it be pulled back to the surface into the warm embrace that it longed for in the first place…

[Narrator]

[The lovely Orange Archipelago, wide open seas, clear blue skies and even clearer waters, lovely water Pokemon as far as the eye can see and rich beautiful culture for those lucky to be living there or even touring there at a certain time of the year! Every year especially at Shamouti Island when they prepare their Legend Festival, where they honor the famous legend prophecy regarding the guardian of the sea, the legendary Pokemon Lugia!]

[Perhaps it's the call of the sea that brings so many to this region, or the beautiful scenery that draws so much attention that people come in droves simply to enjoy the sights and smell the fresh air. And when the festival begins, all forget their worries and woes as they revel in the atmosphere of the celebration.]

[Whatever that reason is, one can't help but feel happy to be alive when sharing in these wonderful experiences!]

(Eru's PoV)

The wind blew his hair as he continued to play his flute, the night was quiet, as it always was and always would be. He continued to play his flute, playing the sacred song of his village, his people, his heritage, in reverence and gratitude for taming and bringing peace to the 'Beast of the Sea', for alongside the chosen one did the two bring peace to the Orange Islands and the world by extension.

He was only a child by that time, barely six years old when the incident happened and that gave him a strange sense of attachment and pride in his heritage and culture. When he saw all that was happening, and especially after it ended, he grew more interested in his culture and especially the legend of the three birds of the region, and finally Lugia, the water's great guardian.

'Fire… ice… and… lightning… clashing titans… upon the sea…' He thought as he played his flute, the music singing for him to the night world. 'Surely… hope is… rising…'

He looked out at the sea, upon the waves as they ebbed and flowed from the vantage point of the cliff face that he'd been coming too for years. Here on this lonely cliff, barely half an hour's walk from his village on Shamouti Island, which itself had a path to the sacred shrine of the prophecy of legend where the Chosen One would bring together the three sacred treasures, which combined with the song he played would 'tame' the Beast of the Sea.

'And my song… and my song… will calm… the three!'

He sighed as he finished his music, looking out at the sea, and once more questioned, what was the point of him coming out here day after day, week after week, month after pointless month, every single year of his sad and pathetic life if no other villagers seemed to give a damn. Only when it was around the time of the Legend Festival did they get into the culture and history of their people. Even the community elder Melody only got everyone into the swing of things around that time of the year.

"Well night, here I am once again, playing my music, letting the guardian of the sea know that we are grateful for all it did with the chosen one's help." He said to nobody as he turned around to look at the shrine.

The shrine in question was just a small shrine, it wasn't special or important, there were dozens on the island all over the place. It was a simple stone structure about four or five feet tall that was just a block of stone, and atop of it was a small stone statue of a Lugia with its wings tucked in and facing inland away from the sea.

"And not a single soul gives an Alolan Raticate's tail about it." He said quietly. "Why do I bother coming out here? I'm just wasting my time… nobody cares if I come out here and play my flute night after night, not even the tourists care or bother asking until it's the Legend Festival. Then it only matters until the ritual is complete, and as soon as morning comes it's back to the usual business."

His eyes glanced over the statue of Lugia and he sighed sadly as he pet the statue's head.

"Maybe 'you' would care about what I do every night, even if the only thing I ever do is play music to let you know that we're grateful." He whispered to himself. "I hope so, this is the only thing I can do… well that and leave a few pieces of fruit that get snapped up by a couple of random Wingulls."

That was true, his offering of fresh pieces of fruit that he always bought and left every night on the shrine beneath the statue of Lugia were 'always' snapped up the next day, by Wingulls, Ratattas, or whatever other wild Pokemon were in the area after he leaves. At this point he was just wasting his money feeding random wild Pokemon at night, and that left a sour taste in his mouth that he didn't want to think about.

He sighed as he was about to leave but turned back to the cliff and ocean and smiled sadly, no reason he should leave on a sad note, might as well walk away feeling positive about what he does.

"I don't know if you're out there, listening, or if anyone is out there listening to me, but this melody is for you Lugia… thank you for all of your help and for always being there beneath the waves."

And so, he began playing his flute.

'Fire… ice… and… lightning… clashing titans… upon the sea… surely hope is rising… A painful end this won't be…' He thought as he played the song, the song of the Water's Great Guardian. 'Skies of burning embers… clouds igniting… above me… peace you'll soon re…mem…ber!'

The music sounded around him, all he focused on was the sound of his flute, the hum of its melody and the tune that he played. To Lugia he played to night after night, in the vain hope that it might be listening to him, for what little joy he had left in his life was found here on that cliff edge, beside that small shrine, playing this flute and letting loose his melodic tune.

'This day… will end… in harmony… disturb not their harmony… fire ice or lightning… for destruction will they wreak… and the guardian you will seek…'

Did what he play night after night truly matter, does it matter, or was he wasting his time?

'Chosen one… bring together… all three… together combined… will they tame… the beast… of the sea… from ancient isles… shall you take… ancient spheres… of these three…'

He loved his culture, loved his heritage and loved his home… but nobody else followed the old ways it seemed.

'Between life and death… the difference it will make… will you climb… right what is wrong… the world shall you heal… with the guardian's… song…'

He opened his eyes, and cried sadly, not wanting to believe anything he was saying was true, after all this was all that he had left in his life to cling to.

'Fire… ice… and… lightning… clashing titans… upon the sea… surely… hope… is rising…' He sang in his mind as his flute played the tune. 'And my song… and my song… will… calm the three…'

His music finished and he sighed as he looked out at the sea, put his flute away, turned to the shrine and said 'thank you' again for the Water's Great Guardian's presence.

With that he took his flute, what food he'd bought for himself that day, and went back to his tiny hut on the outskirts of the village. The cliff and the shrine remained quiet, as the wind blew gently the scent and sound of the ocean inland, with no change as the night went on. Hours later however, a group of Wingulls landed and began picking at and eating the fruit that just happened to be lying on the shrine.

With a free meal in their bellies, they flew off.

But after they left…

"AroooUOOOoooo aaaarOoooh Oooooh…"

The next morning, he woke up as the alarm clock sounded, and he smacked it off, already dreading the day. But he had to get up, he had work to go to, had to make a living here on Shamouti Island.

So, he forced himself up, got out of bed and showered, letting the cold water wake him up and let the soap clean him off. After that he got into his work clothes, pulled out his medicine bottle and took one of his antidepressant pills.

With that done he left his home and headed off to his workplace… a cashier's position at a gift shop.

"Just another day in paradise." He said to nobody.

Hours passed in the day, and Eru once again worked his thankless job taking tourists money, watching them gossip about the sights, talk about dumb things they apparently learned about that 'everyone' knew, and just wiled away the hours waiting for it to be over.

"Yep, another day in paradise." He muttered to himself as he pretended to smile and waited for the next customer to come in and buy a dumb key chain or post card.

He sighed as a new group of tourists came into the shop, a couple old folks in their fifties, and a pair of teenaged girls wearing designer swimsuits and sporting over the top designer sunglasses. The girls were each taking sips of milkshakes through straws and just plain looking bored as their grandparents took their time checking out the souvenirs. He thought to himself that maybe he could get lucky and at least get a laugh to himself by trying to hit on the girls while they were there. Being 25 years old meant he could 'still' hit on girls if they weren't too young for him.

Besides they were only going to stay here for a day or two since they were only tourists to the region, they'll forget about him, and he'll never see them again.

And who knows, maybe he'll get lucky!

"Can't we go on ahead to the beach while you two go souvenir shopping?" One of the girls asked.

"Yea, we're missing out on fun in the sun time, not to mention all the hot island guys!" The other girl said.

"Oh, but you'll miss out on the exciting site seeing tour." The grandmother said. "If you go now, you'll miss the last tour guide for the temple of legend prophecy, and all of the ancient ruins."

"Ugh who 'cares' about that dumb stuff!" One of the girls complained as she crossed her arms behind her head. "It's just dumb blocks of stone and pointless scribbles. Besides it's not like we'd get to see legendary Pokemon like Zapdos or Moltres, even Articuno!"

"Yea we can see that stuff anytime on the net, one Poogle search on my laptop and bam, saved time 'and' money for some fun on the beach in the sun!" The other girl said. "We came here for the beaches on our vacation, not some dumb rocks, nobody cares about that stuff!"

"I can't 'wait' to work on my tan!"

"And I can't wait to check out the hot guys here!"

At that he sighed as he began tuning out what the family were saying, and just like before, waited for the day to be over so he could just try and forget about everything that happened today. When they made their selections and purchased their souvenirs he sighed and watched them leave, the girls again complaining about dumb ruins and just wanted to go to the beach to have fun in the water.

Deep in his thoughts however, he wished they would have asked him questions about the history of the island, or its culture… but nobody ever wanted to ask him questions since… he was just a cashier, not a tour guide or island historian.

So, had he wasted his time learning all he could about the island's culture, the meaning of the many shrines dotting the outskirts of the island, the symbol of 'why' Lugia was so important to their island, not just to give reverence and thanks to the Water's Great Guardian, but to also symbolize that they, the island's inhabitants had a special bond and connection to the sea itself? Was it all a waste?

The day passed as it did, and when his shift ended, he walked home, passing by the beach to see as expected… the girls from before flirting and hanging out with a couple of guys, who he recognized as some of his neighbors.

Seeing them flirting and how they were acting reminded him that he lived alone… and it reminded him that he was… 'average'.

Sure, he was healthy, all things considered, he didn't have a 'well-toned body' that girls like, but he was by no means chubby, or heaven forbid seen as 'fat', he exercised enough to stay in shape. He had a small stubble with his chin that he always shaved down so that he didn't have to deal with a beard because it itched every time that he let it grow. Overall, he was a decent looking guy… he just never seemed to have time to socialize or had the 'drive' to socialize.

He kept on walking home.

When night had descended, he returned to the cliff-side shrine, again, with his flute and offerings, playing his music like before.

'Fire… ice… and… lightning… clashing titans… upon the sea… surely hope is rising… A painful end this won't be…' He sang in his mind as he played his flute. 'Skies of burning embers… clouds igniting… above me… peace you'll soon re…mem…ber!'

'This day… will end… in harmony… disturb not their harmony… fire ice or lightning… for destruction will they wreak… and the guardian you will seek…'

The only sound that he tried to focus on was the music he was playing, ignoring everything else as he played his music.

'Chosen one… bring together… all three… together combined… will they tame… the beast… of the sea… from ancient isles… shall you take… ancient spheres… of these three…'

Every night he came out here and played for Lugia, honoring and thanking the guardian the only way he could according to his culture.

'Between life and death… the difference it will make… will you climb… right what is wrong… the world shall you heal… with the guardian's… song…'

Every night, for the last nineteen years since he'd learned of this shrine's location, because it was personal to him, 'for' him… because he wanted to keep his culture alive and not lose its meaning simply because of tourism.

'Fire… ice… and… lightning… clashing titans… upon the sea… surely… hope… is rising…' He sang in his mind as his flute played the tune, but tonight it had a sad tone to it despite his best efforts. 'And my song… and my song… will… calm the three…'

He took a deep breath as he finished playing and looked at the shrine, and just stared at the little Lugia statue.

"Well… I hope you appreciate my efforts tonight." He whispered to the Pokemon.

He just listened to the quiet of the night as he stared at the statue, his family's shrine to the guardian being the only thing of importance out here on the cliff.

*snap*

He looked up to see someone walking up the path toward the cliff face he was at, it looked like another tourist, but this guy was wearing hiking gear and even had heavy duty equipment for the job of mountain climbing.

"Oh, I didn't know someone else was out here." He said as he walked past the shrine. "I figured I'd come out at night when everyone was asleep so I wouldn't be a bother to anyone!"

"Hello sir, nice to meet you, what are you doing out here?" Eru asked as the hiker began unpacking some rope and hooks.

"I'm a blogger, the Hiking Blogger of Sinnoh!" He chuckled as he rummaged around in his pockets and handed him a card. "I travel around the world exploring every nook and cranny of locations of interest that my followers and supporters ask me to go to, take pictures, live stream, and show off places for them. As for why I'm out here tonight, well I'm doing some reverse mountain climbing, planning to take some footage of the rocks down below and show off how the water crashes on the island from a bird pokemon's point of view and then from a water Pokemon's perspective."

"Oh… well then since you're out here would you like to know about the shrines like this one for your viewers?" He asked as he pointed at his family's shrine.

"Nah I've seen enough of those around the island, got some good shots too with the beaches, my viewers want to see the scenery of the ocean and the wicked cool waves as they crash onto the island at the right moment when the tide comes in and recedes!" He said without a second's hesitation.

"Oh… I see…" Eru muttered, disheartened as the hiker was already latching his hooks and rope to the cliff face and was even now beginning to make his way down. "Well… good luck then."

As he turned to leave however, the hiker called to him. "So why are 'you' out here if you don't mind me asking really quick?"

He turned back and saw that he was only hanging on the cliff to talk to him.

"Well, I'm just out here because this is my family's shrine, and ever night each family is supposed to send out their representative to leave an offering on their shrine to the Great Guardian and sing songs to show our gratitude for its protection." He explained to him.

"Huh, interesting… so why don't I see any others doing that?" The hiker asked. "I was hanging out at several shrine locations for the past two weeks while I'm here, showing off the night sky and checking out the lake, sea, forests, mountains and whatnot, and I haven't seen a single shrine with any activity. Heck I even asked the tour guide a few things about the shrines, and she said they were just little shrines made in ancient times to honor the guardian."

He sighed as the hiker's words hammered down the fact that nobody else cared about what he was trying to keep alive.

"I guess… they just don't care is all…" Eru said sadly.

"Ah… well then, in any case have a good night, see you on the flip side!" The hiker replied cheerfully.

"Yea…" Eru muttered as he just walked on, and the hiker hopped down and began climbing down to the ocean level.

Eru looked at the shrine, at the offering of fruit he'd brought… and just walked on home, thinking to himself 'what was the point' if not even an 'enthusiastic tourist' was interested in what he was doing. As soon as he walked away, he heard some fluttering and turned just in time to see a Pidgeotto swoop down and grab 'both' fruits in its talons and take off into the night sky without even a glance back at him.

He just sighed and walked away.

'Not even the Pokemon care about me or what I do out here…'

Down with the hiker he had climbed down quite a bit and pulled out his recording camera, turned it on, hit the 'going live' stream button and began streaming to his audience who had been waiting in the chat for him to go live. He chuckled as he watched on his phone as his fans started spamming messages like 'It begiiiiins' and 'Lets goooooo'.

"Hi guys, it's me, Sinnoh Man, coming to you live from Shamouti Island, and can you believe this view!" He said as he showed off the sight to his audience. "Look at those waves down there, the tide is starting to shake things up, and if the weather report is right tomorrow's a stormy night and already the wind is having an effect on the waves here, juuuust look at them crashing down there!"

He showed them the view from up top, showing how high up he was and how close to the rock face he was.

"Alright let's go down there and get a closer look, I know you want to see the waves from a water mon's perspective, hey maybe we'll see a Magikarp or two! Alright let's get a prediction going, fifty subs from yours truly if chat guesses right! Will we see a Magikarp down there?"

He started climbing down when all of a sudden…

"AroooUOOOoooo aaaarOoooh Oooooh…"

He paused as he heard that sound and looked around for the source.

"What was that?" He asked himself as he tried to find it, not noticing the shifting water below him.

The next morning Eru woke up, feeling sick to his stomach and not feeling up to going to work, but he had to go, he had no choice. So, he went after taking his shower, eating a quick but lousy breakfast and another of his antidepressant medicines. As he began leaving, he just thought about what he was doing with his life, like what was he honestly doing?

None of the other villagers tried to put as much effort as he did into learning about the legends and culture of their island, and what good did that for him? He was no historian and while some of the older folks liked that he was so invested into their culture, most if not 'all' of the younger generation, even those in his age range just often ignored their traditions until it was the time of the festival. Then they only cared about it for about, a few days, and it was back to business as normal.

He sighed as he walked into the gift shop, got behind the counter, set up the register and just went through the day… already wishing it were over.

"I could have gone to study abroad, studied to become something else… but instead I stayed here and became a stupid cashier so I could keep our 'traditions' alive… like anyone cares." He muttered to himself.

Their traditions, the traditions and culture of Shamouti Island, one tradition that he'd tried to do was learning and reciting, passing down the stories of the elders onto the next generation. But, well with the internet and how they've put the stories onto audio books as a 'gift shop item' already, that was dead in the water. Another tradition was learning and mastering the Guardian's Song, which he'd also done but since he was never the one chosen to perform it when the Legend Festival happened, what was the point?

He'd also tried his hand at building a traditional boat to take guests out, but nobody either wanted to go out on some dinky hand-made rowboat when there were the sight-seeing cruises already offered where they had cold beverages, options to dive with water Pokemon, and even beautiful scenery to enjoy all to the traditional musical scores being played. Even when he tried to become a tour guide, they rejected him despite his knowledge of the island because… obviously they were full already. Nobody was into learning traditional dances until it was the festival time of year, every family and islander already had their own traditional masks and outfits, so nobody wanted it, and even if they did, they already made some for tourists to wear and had plenty in stock for 'years' to come.

Even his family's shrine, one that he'd looked for over a 'year' to locate off of stories his parents told him about, handed down from their grandparents, none of them cared about it. When he'd first located it, the shrine was covered in weeds, and almost barely recognizable until he removed the weeds. Even 'after' working on it and keeping it clean, even telling the other islanders about the shrines… the only thing that changed was that the tour guides had a new route to show off to tourists, and their island had another source of income as they offered 'token offerings to the water guardian' for tourists to buy and leave at the shrines when they pass them.

As he tried to ignore those thoughts he sighed and waited for his boss to arrive and open the store up, sure enough his boss arrived but instead of changing the 'closed' sign to 'open' he walked over to him with a regretful look in his face.

"Hey Eru, I've uh… got some bad news to tell you." His boss muttered.

"W-what is it?" He asked nervously.

"I've been trying my best to avoid telling you this… I know you work hard, believe me, I watch you here every day, always on time, always a hard worker… but… it pains me to say this man, but I've… got to let you go." He said regretfully.

"W-wait… you mean… I'm 'fired'?" He asked fearfully. "B-but… what did I do wrong… I'm a hard worker, I'm always on time, I never make any mistakes, I keep track of all my sales both paper receipt and even written notes!"

"I know… I know… but I've been getting too many complaints from customers about how depressed you sound and how it makes them feel…" He said quietly. "I'm sorry man, but I'm noticing a huge decline in guests coming in and buying souvenirs because of your depressed attitude all the time. I'd keep you here if it weren't for the decrease in sales, believe me."

"But… I…" He tried to reason, but his boss shook his head and handed him an envelope.

"I'm sorry Eru but I'm running a business… I can't have you affect my customers, I tried giving you time to get better the last time I told you about your attitude." He said. "I really am sorry… this envelope has three grand in it out of my own pocket, use it to get some help, take some time off for yourself… and when you do look for another job call me and let me know, I'll pull some strings and see if I can't help you get whatever job you're trying to get as an apology."

He looked at the envelope in his hands and felt himself on the verge of tears, but… he just felt himself feel dead inside.

Instead of raging, complaining, pleading or trying to leave even on the tiniest of positive notes… he just took the envelope, and slowly walked out of the store.

Just like that, he was fired… and no doubt his former boss would be replacing him soon.

He was replaceable, he didn't matter…

Nothing he did mattered, nobody cared about what he did… he had no brothers or sisters, and his parents were busy traveling for their vacation, having officially retired.

He pulled out his phone and tried dialing his mother… but it went straight to voicemail. So, her phone wasn't even on to begin with, and his father never bothered getting a phone cause he wasn't as 'tech savvy' as other people were.

In other words… nobody cared about him right now.

Time just passed as he first went home, and just sat there, trying to find 'something', anything to do. But all that came to him was nothing, thoughts of how useless he was, how replaceable he was, how nothing he did mattered, nobody cared about what he did to begin with and how pointless what he was trying to do was.

He reached down and tried to play his flute that he'd pulled out.

'Fi… re… Ice… light… ning' He tried to sing in his mind but, his throat just didn't seem to want to work, as the tune came out jagged, broken and dull. 'Cla-shing… tita… sea…'

He tried so hard, tried so very hard to play his music… try to make it sound good but… his ears told him it was pointless, his heart just wasn't in it.

It wasn't in anything anymore…

'Sure… ly… hope… is… rising…'

He just gave up… when he couldn't bring himself to play anymore, that was when something in him snapped… and the last string broke in him, causing him to stop playing.

He felt dead inside, as he lowered his arm slowly and just let go of his flute.

For what felt like forever, he just sat there, a deaf mute in his home sitting on the couch… until he got up, and his body moved seemingly on its own as it walked to the door, his arm lightly lifted up and his hand grabbed at a hanging rope he used to air-dry his clothes… and walked out the door, locking it out of sheer habit.

Minutes after he left, someone came knocking.

"Eru, Eru are you there… I heard that you'd been fired!" A voice called in. "Eru, are you there, do you need someone to talk to, do you need a place to go? Eru talk to me!"

Seconds later, a phone rang in his home, the caller id saying it was his 'Crazy Cousin Carl'.

With Eru however, everything just became shades of red and black as he walked toward his family's shrine. There he went to the nearest tree, tied the length of rope he had so that it had as little length as possible from a branch with one end having a simple knot, then tied the other end around his neck as he climbed up. Above him a furious storm had rolled in over an hour ago, waves were crashing, thunder was roaring, rain pouring down around him and aiding the wind in freezing all that it touched. His clothes were getting soaked and he had been walking barefoot, so he had tiny scratches and cuts on his feet from the loose sticks and stones on the ground as he walked.

But he didn't care…

'Because what's the point?'

'Nobody cares about me…'

'No one will care if I'm gone…'

'So… what's… the… point?'

With that, he simply let go of the tree branch, and just let gravity take over.

It should have been a clean death, a snap of his neck from a fall like that, instead right at that moment before the rope snapped and broke his fall, nature struck first and lightning struck the branch, causing it to break and letting gravity assert control over his body all the way to ground level.

The branch smacked him in the head right after he landed.

He coughed and gasped, spitting out blood as he recovered from his short fall and attempted suicide. He feverishly pulled the rope off as some sense seemed to flow into his brain, causing him to want to live if for no other reason than out of sheer fear of dying.

He breathed heavily as he lifted himself up and looked up, staring at the fallen tree branch that still carried his dry-cleaning rope, and then to the shrine nearby, the statue of Lugia staring inland, facing toward him, as if watching over him, watching his attempted suicide and chose to intervene.

"WHY?!" He screamed in a voice of mixed anger and despair. "WHY DO YOU WANT ME TO LIVE!?"

The only response was a flash of lightning somewhere, and the resounding sound moments after, with the flash illuminating the lugia statue for him.

"WHAT POINT IS THERE FOR ME TO LIVE, I'M NOTHING, I'M WORTHLESS, NOBODY WANTS ME, NOBODY 'CARES' ABOUT ME!"

Again, nothing but the rain and wind responded.

"Why… why… nothing I do matters… nobody cares about me… no matter what I do nobody 'cares'… so why should I live?" He pleaded quietly to his family's shrine, begging the Guardian to tell him, desperate for an answer. "What reason do I have to live… please… tell me… why do you want me to live?"

No answer came, just the rain and wind of the storm, so he just wearily got up and slowly stumbled back home, trying to find the strength to avoid going back and this time just jumping off the cliff and taking his life that way. When the storm passed well into the night, and all was silent… two voices sang out in a calling tune…

"AroooUOOOoooo aaaarOoooh Oooooh…"

"AroooUOOOoooo aaaarOoooh Oooooh…"

But nothing responded back.

The next day passed with Eru talking to his cousin, who called his parents, who made plans to return to Shamouti Island as soon as possible, and with no chance to be left alone. For over two years he'd been taking antidepressants as a way to try and cope with his depression, to try and ward off thoughts of being worthless, useless, etc etc. His family knew that they'd thought that with him constantly going out to play music and feeling cheerful 'at first' had been a sign of his recovering and getting over his depression.

However, being fired from his job 'because' of his depression had been the final straw, and he'd tried to take his life. His cousin, his cousin's girlfriend, his neighbors all tried telling him that he was special, important, the whole shebang…

They tried saying that even if nobody told him they noticed, they admired him for his dedication in learning of their culture, his heritage, and above all how knowledgeable he was about everything regarding Shamouti Island. But, in his mind… none of it mattered. He knew they were just saying that they just wanted to help him, they wanted to avoid him killing himself…

So, he ignored it.

He didn't ask them for help, didn't ask someone to live with him or someone to take him in until he was better off, they tried to offer but he said no. His cousin didn't leave him alone that night, and he slept with someone watching him to make sure he didn't try taking his life again. That night however, as he tried sleeping, a strange song began playing in his dreams, a hauntingly sad melody that seemed to call to him as if from a great distance that carried a tune that felt eerily familiar.

(Where are you…)

(We miss you…)

(Please come back…)

(Your song is lovely…)

(Please play it again…)

(We love hearing your song…)

The next morning, he woke up feeling groggy and still depressed, but at least he didn't feel like jumping off the cliff. When he remembered last night, he also remembered that he forgot the laundry line he'd used to try and strangle himself with. Since his cousin was still there, he asked him to go with him so he could retrieve it, both to give 'him' piece of mind that he wasn't going to try it again and so he could do his laundry.

He needed to do something, because he didn't have anything to do that day and he just wanted to do 'something' so he wouldn't think about suicide.

"Eru… you really scared us all with that… if you just want to talk about anything, you know my phone number… my girlfriend's phone number are always available for you to call 24/7." His cousin said quietly. "I don't care what you want to talk about, I don't care if you just call to talk about clouds… I'll stay up all night if I must, heck I'll clear my schedule, call in sick, ask for sick days just for you and we'll spend all day just talking about clouds."

"I know…" Eru replied just as quietly.

"I hope so… Eru you're my cousin, I 'do' care about you… even if 'you' don't think I do, I just don't want to see something bad happen to you."

He just continued onward until he reached the cliff with his family's shrine and found the tree branch with his rope still tied to it. After untying it, he handed it to his cousin and prepared to leave when he noticed something on the shrine. Right below the Lugia statue where he'd normally leave his offerings of fruit, were two small pearls of different sizes.

"Huh… what's this, what are these doing here?" He asked himself as he walked over and examined them.

He picked them up and looked at how shiny they were, and at how smooth they felt to his hands. They also felt cold, even though it was a chilly morning the pearls were cold to the touch.

"Did you leave those there, Eru, you shouldn't be wasting your money on…"

"I didn't leave these here…" He interrupted him. "I only ever left fruit out here, I never left a single pearl 'ever', only fruit… and I didn't leave anything at all last night you know that, nor did I leave anything the night before."

"Who left these here… did someone you know do this, is this some silly play of yours, to make me feel 'special' or something?" He asked his cousin, looking suspiciously at him.

"No, I swear Eru, I wouldn't do that, plus I was with you all day and night yesterday, I didn't touch my phone, not even to call your mother, my girlfriend did that! You can check it yourself; I'm telling the truth."

At that he looked extremely confused as he looked down at the pearl in his hand.

'Then… who left these here?'

They went back home after that, with Eru constantly looking at and thinking about the two pearls he'd taken from the shrine. All day his thoughts wandered to, and returned to, the two pearls that now found themselves sitting on his table. Who could, or 'would', leave two pearls at the shrine he kept visiting and performing music at while leaving offerings of fruit? Nobody else bothers or takes time to even 'clean' any of the shrines around the island, let alone leave two high grade pearls just sitting there on 'his' shrine.

After dinner, he looked at the pearls again, and just kept thinking about them, even when night came and he slept again, those two pearls were all he could think about.

(?'s PoVs)

They swam around the same spot as all the other nights, both of them hoping with hope that the beautiful song that they'd heard so many times would play again. But as the night waned and soon morning started to peak up, it was obvious that once more, the beautiful song that had called to them so many times, filled their hearts with song and emotion, brought them back to the surface time and time again… would not sing to them that night.

They had waited for two nights, the first they waited because the storm they feared had scared away whoever it was that played the song into hiding. The second night, they had waited to hope they would return like every night… but no… it didn't return, and so in hope of hearing it again they swam down to the depths and found two shiny pearls that they hoped would message whoever it was that played the music and ask them to return.

But it seems the pearls did not work…

"What do we do?" She asked her fellow.

"Try again…" She replied.

"But if it doesn't work?"

She was quiet before looking back up to the cliff, the cliff that they'd heard the singing coming from clearest and thought sadly about 'what if' indeed.

"We keep trying…"

So, they did as she said, before morning came, they swam down, down into the depths, and from there, found two more gifts, soared up, breaking the surface and quickly deposited their offerings atop the little stone thing. It looked important, it had to be, it was the only thing that wasn't 'natural', and so they figured it had to be of some importance to be there.

So, they left their offerings, and returned to the water before anyone could notice they were there.

But someone did notice they were there… or at least knew that someone had left the offerings they'd left there, for the human who until recently was always playing music at that shrine every night.

(Eru's PoV)

He stared at the beautiful pearls again, just staring at them, wondering who would leave them there and for what purpose. Staring at them he began smiling, maybe someone 'did' appreciate what he was doing out there, and they left the little pearls there as tokens of 'thank you'.

He chuckled sadly as his darker thoughts rose up, 'or perhaps, someone heard about his depression and so left them there trying to cheer him up'. Knowing how word spread about his suicide attempt, maybe 'someone' out there was just trying to cheer him up and this was the only way to let him know without actually telling him.

"But if anything, it at least is making me smile more…" He muttered to himself. "So, I'll just pretend that someone out there 'does' appreciate me."

He left the pearls on his table alone and kept on doing some cleaning around the place, it had been getting dirty and messy around his home.

His cousin finally left him feeling 'cautious', but with assurance that Eru wouldn't do anything stupid again until his parents returned and visited him. However, he had to call every two hours before going to bed to let his cousin know he was still fine, and if he had 'any' thoughts of feeling depressed, no matter how slight they were, tell him and then he'd come rushing over again.

Halfway through his cleaning a knock on the door sounded, and he opened the door to see his cousin, once again, standing there with a smug expression on his face and a small plastic bag in hand.

"Well cousin the mystery of our family shrine deepens!" He exclaimed as he walked in.

"What's going on?" Eru asked.

"I happened to go on a morning walk today, and figured I'd go by the shrine we went to yesterday, and as I did; I happen to see 'these' sitting there today." He explained as he opened the bag and pulled out two beautifully colored seashells.

"Wait, someone left these in the same spot as the pearls?" He asked as he picked up the seashells and looked at them.

"Yea, and these are some cool looking ones too. These are deep water Seashells!" His cousin said with a smirk. "You know how much these sell for?"

He examined the shells with interest, they were beautiful little shells with hints of pink, light blue, emerald and lavender colors swirling and swaying every which way. They were also slightly damp as he felt the smooth texture of the insides, while the rougher exterior was more crusted and more rock like.

This was the second time someone had left something at his family's shrine, and only 'after' he'd stopped going there to play his flute as he usually did. Was someone doing this 'because' he hasn't been there, was someone asking him to come back or… acknowledging what he was doing there? He knew his cousin was big on trying to keep him from having a 'relapse' but…

He had to know for sure…

So that night when everyone else was asleep and he was sure nobody would be following, he went out once more to his family's shrine, and just looked at it, looked around… but saw nobody else was there 'yet'. He'd left his typical offerings of fruits and was about to leave… when he looked at the cliff face again.

'Maybe they are waiting for me to play my music again…' He thought as he walked to the cliff edge, flute being pulled out of his pocket.

He took a deep breath as he glanced back at the shrine, thought about his decision tonight, and looked out to the ocean to, once again, thank the Guardian for saving his life it seemed. If the Guardian, nature, or whatever force out there wanted him to live, to play his stupid flute night after night on this lonely cliff with nobody else being around to hear him… at least that he could see, then he'd do it for no other reason than because 'someone' out there wanted him to.

So, he played.

'Fire… Ice… and Lightning…' He sang as he closed his eyes and the music from his flute began to play. 'Crashing titans… upon the sea… Surely… hope is… rising!'

As he focused on his playing, he did not hear the sound of singing below, matching the harmony and rhythm of his flute.

'A painful end… this won't be! Skies of burning embers… clouds igniting above me… peace you'll soon remember!' He sang, his heart feeling stronger and stronger as he played, the thoughts of before being held at bay as he ignored all things besides that which he dedicated his whole being to now, giving thanks to the Guardian of the Sea. 'This day… will end… in harmony… disturb not their harmony… fire ice or lightning… for destruction will they wreak… and the guardian you will seek…'

'OoooooaaaaaOooooh Uooooohuaaaa'

'Chosen one… bring together… all three… together combined… will they tame… the beast… of the sea… from ancient isles… shall you take… ancient spheres… of these three…'

'Aooooouuuu Oooouuu uooooAaaaaOooooouh…'

'Between life and death… the difference it will make… will you climb… right what is wrong… the world shall you heal… with the guardian's song…'

"Oooouuu Ouahaah oooUhaaaaah Aroooouuuah!"

'Fire ice and lightning… CLAAAAAASHING titans upon the seeeeeea!' He sang in his mind, the singing in his mind and the sound of his song from the flute growing stronger with each note. 'Suuuuuuurely hope is rising… and my song…. And my song… Will caaaaaalm the three!'

"Oouuuuhaaaaaa Oooououh Ooooroooaaaaarouuuuuh"

His eyes snapped out at long last as he heard that singing 'humming' sound as his music finished. There he saw two spirals of water twisting and swirling before him, right in front of the cliff's edge rising up from the water like cannons shots. Yet moments after they appeared they began to convulse, retract, expand and then finally 'explode' into a cascade of water raining down around him and he stared at two…

"Lugia?" He asked in disbelief as he watched them floating there before him.

They were indeed Lugia, they weren't the 'Water's great Guardian' Lugia, for that one had been over five meters in height, more than able to carry a human or even 'multiple' humans on its back. These two however were smaller, probably a little under two meters as he examined them more closely. They still had the beautiful white, smooth and elongated body, light blue stomach, dark blue spikes along their backs and pointed ears with dark blue spikes along their tails. They floated there staring at him, occasionally flapping their large wings and letting their feet-like talons hanging in the air as they gazed at him with gentle, warm looking eyes and even gentler smiles upon them.

(The song… so it was 'you'!) One of them whispered gently in his mind.

(You've returned!) The other also whispered gently.

They spoke to him in a feminine voice, one that sounded young yet wise, gentle and almost motherly to him as they floated closer.

"My… song?" He whispered as they landed upon the cliff and he just backed up, slightly out of fear and also out of respect, for they were two 'guardians' of the sea, perhaps not 'THE' guardian but… regardless they were Lugia!

(Your song… it sang to us!) One of them said as 'she' stepped closer to him, a warm smile on her face.

(We have been hearing it, for many a moon.) The other also said, smiling in agreement as she also stepped closer.

They each stepped closer and smiled warmly as they tucked their wings against their bodies, their spikes shifting ever so slightly as they looked upon him. Standing this way, they stood just slightly below him and seeing that they weren't 'hostile' he took a few steps closer and gently rubbed one of their heads.

(We are happy to finally meet you, for so long we have listened night upon night for you to play that lovely music.) The one he was petting said with an affectionate nuzzle.

(It is as she says, many moons passed, too many for us to remember when we first heard your song, but upon hearing it we found ourselves drawn to its beautiful melody night after night.) The other said now warmly as she walked beside him and nuzzled his arm next.

"But… why… I mean, why keep coming back?" He asked quietly as he looked at them. "You are so… special and you live in the deep waters, too deep for any human to venture to… why would you keep coming back to this spot just to listen to me play a flute?"

They looked at him with warm smiles as they just gazed upon him.

(Why wouldn't we?) One of them asked. (Your music was lovely, it called to us in a melody that we could not ignore. Night after night we would come closer to the surface than we would otherwise dare, always returning to this spot… in the hopes of hearing the song once again sing to our hearts and our souls.)

(We often wanted to meet whoever it was that could play such a melody that called to our very souls, night after night… but we were afraid to leave the water for fear of being discovered by humans.) The other said quietly. (Then one night, we waited as before, at the same spot as we had for so many moonlit nights. We waited… and waited… but the song never came.)

At that he was quiet as he understood 'why' the song didn't sound that night, because he'd tried to kill himself.

"I'm… sorry I didn't… I mean… I never knew you were…" He replied apologetically.

(We assumed it was the storm that night that drove you away, so we returned the next night, and waited again, but again the song never came and we feared something had happened.) The first one said with a downtrodden expression. (So, we decided to try and send you a message, in the hopes that perhaps you would return and play again.)

(We dove into the deep waters and retrieved a pearl each, knowing that humans find such objects valuable… and we left them on that little object near the cliff.) The seconds said with a happier expression now. (It seemed important so we left our pearls upon it and returned to the water before anyone could spot us… we hoped you would find them and… return to play again.)

"I did but… I didn't realize they'd been left for me, I figured someone was playing with me, trying to help me."

(When the night came and still, we heard no song, we feared even more… and so we repeated our gesture, we wanted to hear the song again, and this time we decided no matter the risk, if the song returned, we would surface upon its conclusion to meet you!)

(And so, you did return, you played the song once more and so we rose to meet you… please tell us your name, for we admire and love the song you play the music you deliver night after night!)

He was quiet as they smiled at him, eagerly awaiting his response, but he smiled back and replied, "Eru, my name is Eru…"

(Eru… what a beautiful sounding name you have.) One said with a twinkle in her eye.

(Eru… what a lovely name you have Eru.) The other said with a nod in agreement.

"It's nothing… really." He replied awkwardly with a blush, they hardly knew him for more than a few minutes and yet they were singing his praises.

He glanced back at the two Lugia who just continued to watch him.

"So, uh… is there anything you… want while you're here?"

(Play again… play your song again?)

(Yes, play it, please play it, we love to listen to it~!)

"Alright if you insist~" He replied with a chuckle as he walked between them and back to the cliff face.

He looked out to the ocean and saw how calm it seemed to him for some reason, and so he pulled his flute out and began playing again. He played his song, sang in his mind and let his heart flow into his flute, and through it the music he let loose upon the night. As he played, he noticed a subtle change in how the music 'sounded' to him.

It was subtle, barely noticeable to the naked ear, but he noticed it… the sound coming from his flute sounded… 'happier' than before.

It was subtle, but the change 'was' there.

The two Lugia however didn't seem to notice any difference as they swayed and hummed in time with the tune, occasionally letting loose a small cry when a particular sound demanded it, but otherwise they remained mostly quiet and simply listened to the music they had come to thoroughly enjoy.

As it approached the end, they began to sing along with it, cooing their own mirror to the melody.

When it was over, they stepped over to him and nuzzled him happily in gratitude.

(You play such lovely music Eru~!)

(It's true, we have never heard such lovely music 'ever'…)

"Thanks…" He said shyly, not used to this much praise from 'anyone', let alone a pair of legendary Pokemon.

(Will you be playing again tomorrow?) They asked him at the same time.

"Yes… yea I'll come back again!" He said excitedly.

(Then we'll come back tomorrow again as well, and we'll bring you a gift again for playing your lovely music!) One said eagerly.

(Yes, please… come back again tomorrow and play… we'll be here waiting for you tomorrow night!)

He nodded in understanding as they nuzzled him one more time, before taking to the air, giving him one last smile, and finally dove straight down into the water below. He just smiled as he watched them go, before turning to leave with his flute in pocket. Just before he left however, he looked back at the shrine, smiled… and bowed graciously before the image of the Water's Great Guardian.

With that he headed home.

(The two Lugia's PoV)

They each swam beneath the water and headed toward their preferred hiding place on this island, a small underwater cave that was flooded and provided a natural screen to any would be watchers from finding them. There they settled in for the night.

As they settled in each thought about the human Eru that they'd met.

(For a human, he was most kind.)

(Indeed, he was very pleasant and very nice.)

(What should we bring him tomorrow night?)

(Hmmm… how about we bring him something… colorful, like the shells we brought…)

(Okay, but it can't just be shells again… it must be sparkling… like the pearls we found!)

(Agreed… I cannot wait for tomorrow~)

(Neither can I~)

They were very excited to see Eru again the next night, for many reasons, but chief among them was he was 'special'… they couldn't understand why at first… but when they began hearing his music as they happened to be passing the area around the island, something about it… 'called' to them. It was strange, but the melody called to them, and it felt… lovely to their ears.

They had both arrived separately at different times, one arriving before the other, but they stayed after hearing the music Eru played at night.

They were a travelling species that lived deep in the ocean away from human eyes and the eyes of other Pokemon. They sometimes came nearer to the surface but, often it was just to go with the tides and the currents of the ocean.

They had each been swimming alone, never talking to another Pokemon or spending time, so things were always quiet for them, but when they heard Eru… calling to them it seemed, they found each other and from there… a bond seemed to grow between them as they listened to his music. Now they were inseparable and seeing Eru be the one to bring them together made them feel closer to him on some level.

So, with the thought of seeing Eru again tomorrow, they each went to sleep so they could await tomorrow's arrival.

(Eru's PoV)

The night passed and so did the day, and when night came again, he was back on the cliff side face once more, this time wearing some special clothing that he'd made long ago. They were traditional islander clothes that portrayed him as if he were wearing feathers, all he was lacking was the helmet-beak which was sitting in his closet storage.

As he stood by the shrine, he made his offerings as usual, gave thanks to the Guardian, and then was about to begin playing his flute when the two Lugia from the night before appeared again, flying into the air and landing before him, each carrying what looked like a rock in their mouths.

(Eru, we're back~!) One said happily.

(Like we promised… and look what we brought you~!)

They deposited their items on the ground before him and he saw that… yes, they were rocks, but they were also cracked open, and he saw that inside were small crystals of red and blue.

"Wow… these are beautiful." He muttered. "Where did you find these?"

(We swam around the deep waters looking for ideal gem deposits, it took us all day to find some… do you like them?) One asked with a hopeful smile.

"Love them… of course I love them, they're beautiful!" He said as he took both rocks and placed them on the shrine until it was time to go home. "Alright… now as I promised… I'll play again like last night."

(Eru, what are these funny looking clothes you have on?) One of them asked, nudging his outfit with her nose.

"Alright I'll explain... but first I need to ask, what are your names… I never got yours even though I gave you mine last night." He chuckled.

(We don't have names… we are just… 'us'.) The other said with a shrug.

"Well, 'Us'." He smiled as he looked at them, kneeling before them and scratching their cheeks gently. "I like knowing the names of those I talk to… so would you be against me wanting to give you names to call you by?"

(We would be delighted, yes give us names!) One of them said eagerly.

(Yes, give us names, we would love to be given names by you!)

He smiled as he thought about what to call them, before he settled on two names. "Alright… your name is, Jiya, and yours is Cristal." He said, pointing at each one.

(Jiya… I love it!) Jiya said happily.

(Cristal… what a wonderful name.) Cristal agreed with a nod.

With that he got up and spun around, showing off his outfit which was a large poncho/robe crossover with frills, feathers and colorful beads dotting it, with matching trousers that he . While his was mostly brown, he had dotted his outfit with beads from around the island, loose feathers from random bird Pokemon and finally frills he'd made himself to coat the cuffs of his sleeves.

"These are traditional island robes, back in ancient times islanders wore these not only to signify their relationship to the tribes, but also to signify our connection to the sea 'and' the great Guardian of the sea." He explained happily. "Each robe is supposed to be hand made and reflects the individual personality of the person who makes it. If any part of it gets damaged, they replace the damaged part by making a completely brand-new section from scratch. Thaaaaat's why nobody wears them because… well, nobody likes to keep resewing their clothes over and ov-"

(That is amazing, I had no idea your kind had such important pieces of clothing like that!) Cristal said in awe.

(Such a lovely outfit and it's made entirely by you, what an amazing skill you have.) Jiya said in agreement as she looked over the robes from his other side.

"R-really?" He asked nervously.

(Yes, what else do you do?) Jiya asked eagerly.

"Well… a few things but… how about I play my flute first?"

They nodded and let him past so he could do his music playing at the edge of the cliff. Once again, the sound of music and the melodic harmony of his playing. He played, played, and played as the night waned, and just like before the two Lugia simply swayed their heads and bodies in time with the tune, humming, singing, and joining with him. When it ended, they cooed and hummed in unison with his music until it finished.

They wished him a good night, thanking him for the music once again, and promising they would return once more, this time saying they would have a special gift for him, and with that they dove beneath the waves, winking and smiling at him before they left at last.

He took the two rocks that they'd brought him, smiled, and went back home feeling happier than he's ever felt before in his life.

However, as he left, a pair of people not native to the island popped out from the grass nearby, having been in hiding since they saw that guy standing there.

"Did you see that?"

"Heck ya… two Lugia just appearing out of nowhere, and they bring him rare gems for playing music?"

"You thinking what I'm thinking?"

"Yea, good thinking…"

(Cristal and Jiya's PoV)

They slept through the night, and most if not 'all' of the day as they waited for the night to descend and they could join with Eru again.

They had been thinking about what gift to bring him the next night they spent with him, and for a moment they were thinking about perhaps finding more pearls. But… after debating, they decided instead that they would ask if they could stay with him. The island was nice, it seemed the people native there were friendly and Eru truly was someone they liked spending time with it seemed.

Plus, something about the song that he played… they had a strange feeling that touched their souls whenever he played it.

At first the hum was harmonious and beautiful and gave them feelings of kindness and subtle joy. The nights 'before' however, there had been an ever so subtle difference in the feeling they felt from it. The harmonious feeling and sense of joy was still there… but it felt, 'sad', ever so slightly saddened. When they heard him playing again, this time upon his return, there was something else inside of the song that touched their souls and hearts, they couldn't explain it, but they felt this connection to him.

It was like their hearts were tugging at them, telling them to go to him, to be with him… that he 'needed' them.

And they agreed with their hearts, they wanted to be with him, and so they would be with him.

As night approached, they swam closer to the surface and sat waiting beneath the waves for the time Eru normally appears, or for his music to call for them.

Instead… they heard something coming from the cliff, a sound, a song, but it wasn't like what Eru played, and it didn't have the same tune or feeling.

(Cristal… Eru should not be here this early.) Jiya said quietly.

(You are right… it is too soon, and that song… that is not Eru's music… I don't feel anything from it…) Cristal said in agreement.

(What do we do, do we investigate?)

(No, we should wait… Eru's song is what we are waiting for, not that… it might be another who is not Eru!)

(But what if it is Eru?) Jiya asked nervously. (If we hide and he is calling, he might think we left… or broke our promise to him.)

(But what if… no you are right, if it 'is' Eru and we do not go he may think we broke our promise to him.)

With that they surfaced and flew up to the cliff face to see if it was indeed Eru who was up there and perhaps it was just a different melody he was playing which was the cause of their worry. However, as Cristal feared it was 'not' Eru, instead it was two humans who were playing instruments that 'looked' similar to what Eru played but they weren't the same. The two men playing the music before them stopped playing as soon as they appeared.

"Hey, nice to meet you two!" One of the men said in an 'overly' friendly manner.

"Glad you liked our song!" The other said, also in an overly friendly manner.

Jiya glanced at Cristal who nodded slightly in agreement, this was highly suspicious.

"Were you expecting your friend?"

"He uh… couldn't make it, so he asked us to play for him tonight!"

Cristal and Jiya both thought these humans were obviously lying, Eru would never ask another to play for him, he had been coming here every night for 'uncounted' nights.

(Do they take us for fools?) Jiya asked.

(Be on guard… they want something from us.)

"Listen sorry if we uh… aren't as good as him ya know, we don't do this for a living." The first human said with a chuckle. "We were just told to play music and then take whatever it was you guys leave him and leave it at his place."

"Yea so would you be so kind as to uh give us whatever it was you leave him so we can take it to him, ya know, it's getting late and we're kind of tired."

(Our gifts to him, they think we left him those objects simply because he played us music?)

(They must think we were planning on giving Eru more gems tonight.)

"Well, are you going to give them to us or what?"

"Yea it's getting kind of late you know…"

(Jiya… let us return to the water and wait for Eru to play again.)

(Agreed Cristal!)

They began to back away and prepared to dive into the water, when it seemed the two humans had given up on trying to 'pretend'. "Arg they aren't buying it, alright Plan B it is! Talonflame, Ninjask GO!"

"Skarmory, Fearow go!"

In a flash of four bright lights four separate Pokemon, a Fearow, a Talonflame, a Ninjask, and a Skamory all flew in close formation as they started to attack the two Lugia who had no choice but to turn and combat them.

The Talonflame let loose with a powerful flamethrower as the the Ninjask extended its claws and rushed at Cristal with a shadowy aura erupting from them. The Skarmory's wings turned to steel as it soared after Jiya while the Fearow's feathers also turned to steel, and it too flew at her.

Both Lugia became infuriated at the sudden unprovoked attack upon them, and they were not kind in their retaliation, Cristal roared in fury as she opened her mouth and unleashed a powerful Hyperbeam at the Talonflame's flamethrower, causing a massive explosion to erupt. The Ninjask flew through the explosion and flew past her, slashing at her with its shadowy claws and causing her pain, making her roar as the hurt grew only worse when it sliced at her back now.

Jiya was having just as much luck fighting her two opponents, despite their speed and agility in the water, the Fearow and Skarmory were swifter out of it as they flew rings around her. Every time she tried to attack one the other would fly past and swipe at her with their steely sharp feathers from their wings. Growing more furious by the second as they continued to slash at her body, she channeled her psychic energy and caused rocks to materialize and slam into the Fearow, but it avoided the damage by spinning and letting its steel coated wings take the hit.

While the two Lugia battled the flying Pokemon their two human assailants were talking about what they were going to do with the two legendaries.

"It's too bad they caught onto us so fast, if they had believed us, we could have milked them for some serious riches before catching them."

"It is what it is, for now let's just focus on catching them, after we get them and get away from this island, we can 'totally' breed them once we learn what species they are compatible with!"

"Yea man, can you just imagine how valuable Lugia eggs are worth? We'll make a fortune!"

"That's the plan buddy! Easy street here we come!"

While they talked, they didn't see Eru rushing toward them looking furious as he grabbed a fallen branch, the one he'd tried to hang himself from, and wacked one of them as hard as he could.

"CALL OFF YOUR POKEMON!" He yelled in a fit of rage as he saw the two trainers hurting those two beautiful Lugia.

"You son of a… stop getting involved in business that don't involve you!"

A fight broke out between the three of them as the guy he didn't hit managed to grab and hold down Eru with the branch while his buddy recovered. After recovering the downed attacker got up and they began double teaming him, and after wresting control of the branch from Eru they began beating 'him' with it. He tried to shield himself, but his efforts were in vain as they knocked him down and the branch they used tore into his clothes, the sharpened points ripping his outfit in sections as they began kicking him in the stomach, chest, and anywhere else they could reach.

"This will teach you… to not… mess… in things… that don't concern you!"

"GROAAAAAAWR!" A pair of angry roars screamed into the night, and from the battle Cristal and Jiya completely ignored the attacking Pokemon, choosing to dive the two humans and slam into them each, knocking them far away from Eru.

In a fit of blind rage both Lugia then grabbed the two humans and began flying toward the other side of the island, their Pokemon panicking as they tried to keep up with them. As they reached the other end of the island, they each looked down at the terrified humans, growled, and then dropped them off into the sea with their Pokemon flying after them to try and help them. Then they turned back and flew toward Eru again, looks and feelings of worry replacing the rage.

As Eru began to steadily and shakily get back on his feet, Cristal and Jiya flew down to land beside him, wings tucked in and helping him with their necks and wings.

(Eru… are you alright?) Cristal asked worriedly as she saw his bruises.

(Eru… your beautiful clothes…) Jiya said sadly as she eyed his outfit in tatters.

"It's alright… I'll mend them tomorrow or so." He said as he raised his arms to examine his robes, and sure enough they were in tatters with rips, tears, and cuts in them. "Are you two okay is what matter?"

(We are fine… they did not hurt us very much.) Jiya said as she checked their bodies for damage, but no they were fine, what damage there was would mend in time.

They turned to the sound of running footsteps, and soon half the village, mostly consisting of his neighbors and some family members were running toward them.

"Dude what just happened over… wait what are…"

And so, Eru explained what happened regarding the two island intruders who had arrived and tried to take advantage of Cristal and Jiya. When asked why two Lugia were there to begin with, he explained that his playing music had been the cause, and thus the explanation of why the two Pokemon were there. After everything was done, everyone began heading home with Eru being last.

"I want to say thank you for everything… I promise that I'll never let that happen again." He said to them as he prepared to leave.

At that both Lugia smiled and looked at each other, before nodding in agreement.

(About that Eru… we have a gift we wanted to give you tonight) Jiya said warmly.

"A gift?"

(Yes, Jiya and I talked about it… and we've come to like being here, and we were wondering if you would let us live here with you?) Cristal asked politely.

"I… I'm… speechless I… why would you… I mean, why 'me'?" He asked, speechless that these two Lugia want to live with him.

They both leaned closer with loving smiles and nuzzled him affectionately. (We just like being with you… we can't entirely explain it ourselves… something about your song calls to us.) Cristal explained. (Please let us stay with you?)

(Yes, let us stay, your song calls to us and we wish to stay with you. You are very nice, and we wish to be with you because of that!)

"Well… how can I say no to that?" He muttered as he scratched their heads. "Alright, I'll do my best to take care of you two…"

They smiled back happily as he took the lead and led them to his home, it wasn't easy at first but a neighbor who saw them an idea to help by giving them a pair of Pokeballs to use, and after a quick explanation, he 'officially' became their trainer. Once inside his home he let them out and they admired his small but 'humble' home.

(You have many interesting things here…) Jiya said quietly, admiring his random assortment of items. (What are these?)

Eru looked over and calmly picked up the bottle of 'antidepressants' that he kept, and said something about it being 'medicine' before storing it out of sight as quick as he could, then he opened his closet to change out of his traditional native clothing.

(Hey… what is this?) Cristal asked as Eru began putting his robes away.

They both looked at a bird's beak helmet that was a dirty orange, brown with feathers glued onto it, holes punched into the eyes and colorful swirls painted here and there on it with ancient symbols written in a language that they didn't recognize or understand. Not that they knew what human languages were. It was also extremely dusty, and the colors were beginning to fade, a sign of age getting to it.

"It's my traditional ritual mask, we wear them when the festival comes around." He explained. "Each mask is important to the owner because they are meant to reflect who they are in life and are handmade by their owners. They are also preserved in the family so that others can see them and share their story, so they're never forgotten. I uh… made it when I was younger… that's why it's so… 'dirty' and 'dusty'."

(What a lovely story…)

He blushed a little as he prepared his bed and brought out all of his extra blankets so that he could make 'them' beds. When he asked where they wanted to sleep, they said they would sleep next to him. With that he bundled the blankets up and they each took up a spot on either side of his bed. When he went to bed, Cristal and Jiya both smiled affectionately at him, nodded at one another, before leaning over and resting their heads to lay alongside him, each extending a wing to cover him as well.

Over the next few days, the three of them grew closer and closer, and soon most of the villagers began talking about the two Lugia residents of Shamouti Island living with Eru. While they lived with him, Eru talked and shared all of his knowledge of his island's heritage and the culture of his people, eagerly describing every and 'any' detail they wanted to learn more about, and the longer they listened the more they admired and grew closer to Eru. They would go around the island and Eru would tell them about everything he could, describing shrine purposes, explaining why the statues were positioned the way they were, the meaning behind the wording of the prophecies and other messages inscribed in the stones… anything they were curious about he explained.

Also noticed by his immediate family the more he spent with Jiya and Cristal, the happier he became as he shared what he knew to them. One day, after Jiya and Cristal had lived with him for over two months and after Eru began looking for work again, his cousin came over to chat with the two Lugia. They had been very happy with Eru, loving their time with him, growing very close to him, but Jiya asked a question regarding a bottle of medicine that Eru never explained to them, even when asked about it.

He then told them the truth, that for a few years now, even as he played his music for them without them realizing it at the shrine by that cliff side, he had been taking antidepressants. This shocked the two of them, as they had not seen him acting so 'depressed', so deeply that when he explained the night of the storm when they first didn't hear him play, he had tried to commit suicide. He suffered from what he believed was a lack of purpose it seemed, as despite his knowledge of their culture and his heritage, nobody seemed to care about it unless it was around the festival of legend.

He described him in his youth as being enthusiastic, energetic, full of desire to learn and wanting to show off his knowledge and try to teach others. But when he got older and nobody seemed to pay attention, and all he knew and tried to do was ignored, he became depressed, sluggish, and extremely quiet and recluse from the outside world. He began taking his medicine to try and help his depression because his boss at his job told him he had to change or else he risked being fired, but the longer things went on the worse he became. The only thing that kept him going, was him constantly going to that cliff to play his flute and thank the Guardian of the Sea, every single night year after year.

He also thanked them though, saying that ever since 'they' showed up in his life, he'd never seen Eru so happy or full of 'life'. Mentally he had turned a complete 180, and he asked them to keep him happy, he missed seeing his cousin this way and hoped it would stay. Jiya and Cristal looked at each other as he left and nodded in agreement, now they knew 'why' his song called to them, why their souls felt such a connection to him so easily.

His music had sung to their souls, drawing them to him ever so slowly, and their souls reached out to his.

This made their plan that night all the more important, as they had been waiting for the night of a full moon to truly bind themselves to him… the knowledge Eru's cousin shared with them just made it all the more important to them.

(Eru's PoV)

He yawned as he came back late that night, having finished his night ritual of playing music at the shrine near the cliff again, once again he'd thanked the Guardian for all it did, and now perhaps in its own way, giving him a new life and new outlook on life it seemed.

Cristal and Jiya were the best things to ever happen to him, and he could not have been happier. Tonight, however his mood was only 'slightly' soured because unlike before, the two of them had chosen to stay home that night. They explained that they had something they wanted to prepare for when he came back.

"I wonder what they have planned?" He asked as he opened the door to his home, noticing the windows were closed and the blinds shut tight. "Jiya, Cristal, I'm back… are you girls up?"

He stepped forward and behind him the door to his home slowly closed, and he turned around to see both Lugia looking at him with smiling eyes and what looked like grins to match.

(Hello there, Eru~.)

(Sorry for hiding like that~!)

"Uh… girls are you…" He said before Jiya stepped forward and planted her lips on his, cooing as her soft beak-like lips touched his.

It was sudden, it was unexpected, but as the female Lugia kissed his lips and then only pressed him a little bit, she pulled away with a now affectionate look and prominent blush. It was then Cristal's turn as she leaned forward and kissed him next, cooing in delight as she now felt his lips against hers, giving his lips a tentative lick of affection, before separating from him like Jiya did.

"Jiya… Cristal… why did you kiss me?" He asked them in surprise.

(Because we love you Eru…) Jiya explained. (Eru, our souls have been touched for years by yours… when we first heard your song as we wandered, we were loners who wandered the oceans. But after we became closer to you through your music, we felt our souls becoming drawn to yours.)

(Eru, our kind does not pick a mate easily, and when we do, we only pick one our souls are drawn to.) Cristal continued. (Ever since we met you face to face; our souls have been drawn even closer to yours. Even though we've only known each other for a few months, Jiya and I feel like we've known you for even longer… and we're attracted to you because of that.)

He was speechless as they smiled lovingly at him, their eyes never once leaving his. "You… really love me? But… why me… I'm not special… I'm just…"

(You're special to us!) They said in unison, and immediately after both spread their wings and wrapped them around him in a warm, tight, feathery embrace.

(It's not about gifts, skills, nothing you consider 'special'… you are special to us because our hearts say you are special to us! That is all that we need to want to love you!) Jiya said happily.

(You are special, don't think you are not, you are special, and we love you more because of that!) Cristal also spoke lovingly. (So, accept our love please, and say you love us as well in exchange?)

At that he just started hiccupping ever so slightly, feeling his heartbeat heavily as they each held him close. These two legendary Pokemon that until a few months ago he'd never even met, had fallen in love with him, and wanted to be with him? They thought he was special, special enough to give up their life at sea to live with him, special enough to fall in love with him, special enough… to ask him to love them in return?

How else could he respond besides saying, "Yes… yes I do…" He muttered tearfully, leaning against them and simply crying into their gentle and loving faces.

They rubbed their cheeks against his as they let him cry, they felt their hearts and souls soaring beyond even the heavens as they felt a bond forming between them and him. Something was connecting them, and they both took it as a sign to take their plan to the next phase. Jiya and Cristal only glanced at one another for a second to silently agree, and then they both began licking and kissing him more affectionately than before.

The two Lugia slowly began steering him closer and closer to their sleeping area as they began to let their desires creep ever upward. Once at the bed Cristal took the lead as Jiya let go and allowed her to lean Eru onto the bed. She then smiled with a hint of lust filled eyes before she carefully climbed onto his bed to rest atop him.

(Eru… tonight we ask you to make our love official and mate with us… make us yours and mark us as yours so that our bodies, our hearts, our souls… everything that we are will be yours and yours alone!) Cristal said in a tone of desire.

"You… really want me to…" He began asking before Cristal nodded, smiling lovingly at him.

(Yes, do not ask anymore, we desire you… now please… explore my body and when you are ready… take me as yours my beloved Eru!)

He nodded as Cristal spread her wings out so she could rest comfortably on his bed, spread her legs more so he had easier access to her feminine-hood, and cooed in delight as he began to rub her body, first her neck, then her wings and chest, followed by her underbelly and along her legs. Her body was silky smooth as despite being dotted with feathers they were easily not noticeable by the naked eye. From a distance her body looked like it was more scale and skin, but that was only at a distance, up close and to the touch she had millions of tiny feathers dotting her body that provided her body with the ability to swim and soar.

But as he touched them, they each sent a tingling sensation through Cristal's body as she felt her lover touch her all over, cooing and moaning softly with each light brush. As he rubbed her chest, he felt a pair of tiny but noticeable 'lumps', causing her to gasp in pleasure.

"You have 'breasts'?" Eru asked in surprise.

(Yes, yes… yes, they are similar to breasts in that… they provide young with Milk, but they are not like human ones.) Cristal said as he began to rub them harder.

(For our species, our breasts are very large, buried beneath the chest feathers. They are unnoticeable to the naked eye and are only ever used to deliver milk to our young~!) Jiya explained as Cristal cooed and moaned. (If you want to touch them, touch away… Cristal seems to love it when you do.)

(Yes… yes please… touch them more…) Cristal moaned as she leaned closer, resting her body on Eru and inviting him to feel her body more.

He did as she asked and placed both hands on Cristal's chest, feeling and massaging them as best he could. But unlike human breasts theirs weren't as round or as plump, but they sure were large as they seemed to blend into their bodies. From a distance their bodies looked smooth but buried under her feathers, their soft breasts could be felt, especially as he found Cristal's nipples.

(Ah… oooh that… yes that feels lovely Eru…) Cristal panted as she began licking his cheek. (Eru… oh your hands… I didn't think you could do that with us!)

He stayed focused on Cristal as he began to suck on her nipple, licking the feathers along her body as she wiggled and moaned at his touch.

(Ah~!) Cristal gasped in pleasure. (Oooh~… keep going… touch me more…)

Jiya was smiling as Cristal was the first to be touched by their lover, but her own body was starting to heat up as her fellow female was pleasured. Her sex was getting puffed and needing attention as their combined arousals were affecting one another. Jiya decided to speed things up ever so slightly by turning to their lover and using her mouth to remove his pants and undergarments.

As she finished, she smiled as Eru's dick revealed itself, it was half up, but she didn't mind, it was cute and lovely to her at the same time, and she knew that soon it would be inside of her to mark her as his mate for life. Because of this she began licking it slightly, enjoying the musky odor it was giving off.

"Aah… Jiya…" Eru muttered, but Cristal silenced him by pressing down on him with her breasts, gasping as she made him start suckling on her nipples.

(Don't worry Eru… I am just pleasuring you as you pleasure her.) Jiya said shyly, licking and sucking on his dick.

She closed her eyes and slowly began bobbing up and down on his dick, wrapping her tongue around it and then licking it up and down from tip to base. As she did, she felt it begin to harden and even giggled inwardly as she lapped at it when it poked the roof of her mouth.

'Don't worry little one, you'll have me soon enough…' She thought privately to it, tapping the head of his dick with her tongue, before resuming her loving attention on it.

His scent was intoxicating the longer she smelled him, and as she smelled her body grew hotter, her sex became wetter and more wanting, soon her body was aching and demanding that she be taken immediately, but she used her powers to restrain herself.

'Patience body… patience… soon… soon… just a bit longer…' She thought warmly as she bobbed down.

*Pink*

She opened her eyes and looked down at Eru's waist, before smirking even more as she rewarded his dick for reaching the back of her throat, closing her eyes and wrapping her tongue around it, slowly enveloping it to massage it lovingly.

As she licked, she began tasting a sweet and salty taste in her mouth, and the more she licked the more she realized it was coming from his dick, providing evidence that his body was ready to proceed as she felt his seed essence beginning to drip. She licked and lapped at it until she'd gotten a good taste to calm her drive down long enough for Cristal to be taken and carry out her task.

Finally, Cristal panted, pulling away and looked needily at Eru, panting and gasping in pleasure as she couldn't take it anymore. Her sex was hot and begging, she couldn't restrain herself any further.

(Eru… please my love… I need you… my body desires yours… please penetrate me with your dick and claim me as your mate!) She begged him in a voice of lust and desire. (My body can't hold out any longer, it's begging you to fill it and end this burning sensation!)

"A… alright…" He panted as Jiya let go and backed away to watch him.

Cristal looked down as she maneuvered her sex, which was as she described, extremely puffy and dripping in her juices. She had not been touched there the entire time Eru was feeling her body and exploring her, so she was only slightly afraid of what would happen when she was claimed as his.

She smiled as she saw his dick however, it was at full attention and twitching ever so slightly as it tried to reach her sex, which she lowered onto it to let the two parts of their bodies meet.

They were young for their species, at most about thirty years old, not as 'large' as the Guardian of the Sea was, and as such their bodies weren't nearly as developed. This meant their pussies were perfectly suited to encompass Eru's dick with no trouble. He wasn't too small for them, and they weren't too big for him.

They were perfect… he was perfect.

So, Cristal lowered herself onto his dick, gasping as she felt it slowly enter her passage and felt it grip him tightly. Each inch slid into her body, deeper and deeper, until she paused as he hit her fleshy virgin barrier.

(Eru… take me…) She asked him with lust in her voice.

"Alright… and Cristal, I love you…" He replied to which Cristal nodded as he gripped her waist and lowered it down.

(AAAAAH~!) She gasped in a mixture of pain and pleasure.

Jiya smiled as she watched Cristal's virgin blood drip from her sex, now their plan could proceed… Cristal would go first, and when it was her turn Jiya would do the same.

"Cristal… you're so tight~!" He muttered as Cristal looked down and leaned closer.

(Yes… and you are wonderful… it feels amazing… you feel amazing~!) She responded, licking his lips and then kissing him.

She spread her legs more and began to thrust up and down as he moved her, letting their sexes carry out their desires as his dick moved in and out of her warm and wet passage. The only sounds coming from the room were the creaking of the bed as he slowly started a rhythm with Cristal and the sound of their bodies occasionally slapping against one another.

"Cristal… it feels so good, I've never… I didn't think it would… feel this good."

(Neither did we… but ssshh… enjoy… ooooh… ooohhaaa~!) She giggled in delight and pleasure as he thrust in and out.

Cristal felt her passage constrict and widen with each thrust, tightening when he pulled out, and widen when he pushed in. She could feel her sex slowly being molded by his hot and thick member, shaping it to perfectly suit him, and she couldn't want anything more.

Well actually she did, but she had to focus, through the haze of sex and lust she waited until his eyes closed from the pleasure and then she began using her psychic powers on them.

Slowly, ever so slowly her heart began to beat rapidly, a beat that his also began matching.

"Gah… hah… it… feels amazing… gah~!" Eru panted as he thrust harder and harder into Cristal's pussy.

(Ah… yes… hah… aaaaah~!) She agreed as she began pushing down harder and harder, feeling his dick poke at her womb's entrance. (Ooooh yes… right there… oh fuck… harder… harder… yes… deeper… just a bit more… almost… you're almost inside! Don't stop… keep going… harder… I want you in me, all the way~!)

"Oh… ohfuckme… oooho yes~!" He panted as he leaned up and gripped her body, before ramming as hard as he could

(Aaha oooooh yes~!) She screamed into his mind, eyes still glowing with psychic power, feeling the lust and passion flowing as she wrapped her wings around him her mouth open and tongue hanging out as his dick began to twitch. (Not yet… please… just a bit… longer… I want you in my womb~ pleaseholdouuntilAAAAH YESSSSS~!)

She felt her lover give an almighty push and with one last effort filled thrust, shoved his dick through her entrance and into her baby space.

For a while longer she kept bouncing up and down on her lover, feeling his dick stay inside of her womb as it seemed to expand just enough to prevent itself from leaving. Her passage likewise seemed to sense what was going on, and tightened its grip on him, sealing off any escape for their juices to go except the intended destination. Their bodies could feel what was happening and began the final preparations.

Inside Cristal her tubes flexed, and released a single tiny egg in response to the sexual activity and it made its way to her womb.

(NowAhh… oooh now release… Hoooooh whenever you waaaant~… just don't leave my womb Eru~!) She begged as her powers reached their peak, and she felt herself nearing completion of her objective, her eyes glowing brightly in the night of the room. (OOooh yes… harder… harder… YEEEEEEESS!)

"I'm about… I'm going… I can't…" He gasped as he rapidly thrust his hips into hers, and then moaned as his heart began beating heavily, almost painfully like a drum, until finally he came inside of Cristal.

(AAAAAAH~!)

She screamed in pleasure as her eyes shone brightly for a second as her release happened too, just as she felt his gooey creamy essence and seed spill into her baby space, coating the walls in his fluid and marking her completely as his. His sperm now flooding the space, and her juices helping keep them from leaving it.

He panted heavily for several seconds as he gave tiny little thrusts into her body, and she moaned in pleasure each time he did, spilling out more of his seed, filling her up more… until at last he gasped and leaned back, kissing Cristal as her eyes returned to normal, and her heart began slowing down.

(You did well Eru…) She whispered lovingly. (You were wonderful… thank you…)

She truly belonged to him now, and she was happy to tie herself to him for the rest of his life.

(Eru…) Jiya gasped painfully with lust filled eyes as Cristal finished. (Please take me now~!)

Eru was still recovering but he nodded and slowly edged out of Cristal, causing her to moan sadly as he pulled out and their combined juices leaked out of her pussy.

Jiya saw that his dick was hardening up and growing fully erect, causing her to smile as she flipped over and spread her legs while on her blankets. Her sex entrance was puffed and dripping wet and releasing a lusty pheromone that screamed her desires to him as he leaned over her.

She smiled as he stood before her and poked at her entrance, and she wrapped her wings around him to pull him in an embrace, licking him gently and lovingly kissing him as he prepared to claim her. After a few seconds of kissing in which she wiggled her tongue into his mouth, licked his for a moment, and then separated she looked down smiling warmly as her entrance waited eagerly for its visitor.

Her body sensed the presence of a male's sex nearby, and it was eager to be taken by it, dripping with juices as it waited to be claimed. Likewise, his dick twitched with anticipation, despite having just taken a female already, it poked at her entrance ever so slightly, tasting her flower's nectar and savoring its lovely aroma and touch.

"Jiya… I love you as well." He whispered to her, kissing her on the lips lovingly.

(And I you Eru… now please… make me your mate~!) She replied just as sweetly.

He nodded and began pressing into her sex, and she moaned in pleasure and lust as her pussy finally got what it was desiring all night. Her passage tightened as its intruder/guest made its way toward her fleshy virgin barrier, and as the tip of his dick touched it, she nodded in approval, before tightly gripping him with her wings, wrapping her legs around his waist, and aiding him as he thrust into her to break it.

(Aaah~!) She moaned in pain and pleasure as she was taken at last.

Without skipping a beat, he began to thrust slowly into his second lover's body, thrusting into her exceedingly tight but just as warm fleshy passage. Each thrust she felt him carving his dick's shape and size into it, and she wanted nothing more than for his dick to completely make her pussy into the ideal shape.

(Oooh… Eru… you feel amazing… Cristal… he's so good… oooouah~!) Jiya moaned happily as she pulled him tightly against her, helping his thrusts.

Cristal panted as she recovered from her sexual drive, but she nodded in agreement. She also watched as Jiya's virgin blood now dripped slightly from her sex and was eagerly awaiting when her fellow female Lugia counterpart would conclude their plan tonight.

Eru leaned closer to Jiya and gripped the back of her head, pulling her into a kiss to which she happily obliged. Then she closed her eyes as she began focusing on pleasuring him even more. She used one of her wings to carefully put his hand onto where 'her' breasts were, and slowly wiggled in delight as he got the message and began massaging her breasts.

As he massaged, she returned her wing to wrapping around his back, hugging him tightly and helping him thrust harder and harder into her body.

(Ah… hah… oooh… yes… Eru… so big… you fit so well!) She panted lovingly, not letting him go and begging him to keep going.

He nodded as he began to thrust harder, trying to go deeper as her juices began leaking and his dick twitched in anticipation of its second release.

Sensing the impending release, she rushed to carry out her plan and began focusing her psychic powers, her eyes glowing as she began work. He closed his eyes as he thrust harder, pausing only to adjust his position before resuming his efforts.

(Ah… hah… ah… ooah… yes… ah~… oooh~!) She cooed and cried, her head leaning back as her eyes continued to glow with power.

As her pussy and passage tightened and pleasured his dick with each thrust, her eyes glowed brighter and brighter, her heartbeat began to pulse rapidly.

Eru began to pound her pussy as hard as he could, using all of his strength as he felt his release approaching, his heart pounding and beating harder and harder, but he ignored it as he focused on Jiya's body and pleasing 'her'.

"Jiya… it's… so hot… its so tight and hot inside of you!" He gasped as he thrust inside.

(Yes… Eru… my love… ooooh yes… harder… deeper!) She panted, feeling him getting closer and closer to her womb. (Just a bit further… I can feel it… I want you… more, deeper, all the way in me…)

She wanted him to release inside of her womb, to truly mark her, to etch his mark into her body and show all the world that she was his and only belonged to him. Even as her body worked to carry out her desires, her lust telling it to go into overdrive as she neared her release, her powers focused and began nearing completion.

"I'm… almost… just a bit… more!"

Eru could feel he was about to release, but Jiya was begging him to gain access to her womb as well, and he didn't want to disappoint. So, he began thrusting as hard as possible, ramming her body and slapping it every second as he poked at the entrance.

Finally, he gave an almighty thrust and didn't stop pushing harder and harder until he did just that.

(Aaaah yeeeessss~!) Jiya screamed as he resumed. (Oooh… yes… ah… harder… there… right there… oh my love… you're inside me… don't leave… I want you inside… I want it all inside… don't pull outaaaaAAAH~!)

She pressed him flat against her body, leaning over his back to watch through her glowing eyes as Cristal nodded in understanding. They were nearing the completion of their goal, soon all would be complete, and they would be his forever.

Each time his dick tried to slip out, her entrance tightened and kept it from leaving, when it tried to push deeper it flexed in response. Soon her juices were leaking, dripping from her entrance in a slow but steady river as it began sealing off any exit for his cum to escape potentially.

(Eru… Eru… Eruuuu) She screamed in delight.

"Jiya… I'm… I'm about to…"

She looked over at Cristal one last time who smiled approvingly.

(Almost… aah aahaahahaaaah~!)

As he thrust harder and deeper, feeling his release, Jiya's body instinctively prepared itself as an egg slowly slid down her tube to her waiting womb, which felt his dick preparing to mark it. Her body could feel it, the time to create a baby was approaching and it couldn't wait for it to happen.

"I'm… coming!"

(Insiiiiiide meeeee~!) She pleaded as he gave a final thrust and released. (Aaaaah~!)

Her orgasm exploded as she felt her psychic powers finish, and her heart began beating in sync with his, slowly slowing down as they felt their releases go off in unison. Inside her womb his dick released a burst of his cum, splashing and spraying her walls inside, coating it in his essence and forever staining it with his DNA. Her pussy convulsed and contracted as her juices sprayed his dick slipping some of it out… but she could only moan in pleasure as he thrust slightly once again, causing another spurt of cum to spill from his dick into her womb and her eyes finally stopped glowing.

He then thrust again, weaker than before, and another tiny spurt of his seed was released inside.

She gasped in pleasure one final time as he gave one final weak little push, letting loose a tiny trickle of cum into her body.

Then they both relaxed, and he kissed her lovingly.

(Eru… you were perfect…) She whispered tiredly. (Perfect… you were amazingly perfect… I am so happy…)

"Thank you… I love you both…" He muttered tiredly again.

(You filled us both…)

(We are so full of you…)

(We love you as well…) They cooed together.

Not wanting to leave his second lover, and not wanting to feel left out of a nighttime embrace, Eru and Jiya remained on her blankets while Cristal used her powers to reposition her own blankets so she could lie next to them and embrace Eru with her. When he pulled out of her sex Jiya sighed in disappointment as his member left her passage, leaking a tiny trail of their juices.

Once they were all together under a blanket Jiya and Cristal waited until they were all settled in, before telling him of what they had done.

(Eru… thank you for making us yours… and for becoming ours.) Jiya whispered lovingly.

(Yes… thank you… and now that we are mates, we can tell you what happened tonight.)

"What are you talking about?" He asked quietly.

(Eru… our species is a long lived one… the water guardian is proof of this as you know. We can live for a very long time, longer than a single human life span can equal. Even though our hearts would not wish it so, Jiya and I would outlive you by a very long time.) Cristal explained solemnly. (We don't want to outlive you… now that you've claimed us, and we are marked as yours… we don't want to leave you or be left behind by you.)

(So, Cristal and I used our powers, and bound our bodies together in a sacred way… one that we chose of our own free will so that we could live as long as you live.)

"Wait, you did… what did you…" Eru asked in shock before they calmed him down with a kiss.

(Here… place your hand upon your heart…) Jiya muttered as she took a hand with her wing and planted it atop his chest.

Once she was done, both her and Cristal leaned up and rested their chests upon his ears so that he could hear their hearts beating together, and they smiled as they felt pride in what they'd accomplished. As he felt and listened, each and every heart in that room, his, Jiya's and Cristal's were beating in complete unison, beating in perfect sync.

"They're… in sync…" Eru whispered in surprise.

(Yes… they are, so when your heart finally stops… is when 'ours' stop as well.) Cristal explained.

(We know this shortens our life span considerably, but we don't mind… we love you and don't want to be left behind when your time to enter the halls of Arceus comes.) Jiya whispered lovingly.

He frowned sadly, but a sense of joy filled him as the meaning behind their words hit him deeply. "I'm happy you would do that but… I'm sad because… I don't want to see you…"

(Shhhh it is alright… those days are far away in the future…)

(Yes… for now let us enjoy life together Eru… enjoy it with us our love…)

He nodded as they leaned closer and began to snuggle into his body, giving him another kiss goodnight before going to sleep. As he slept, they each smiled to one another, before settling in for the night as well.

While deep inside their bodies, a pair of lugia eggs were being assaulted by countless human sperm, each trying to be the first…

The next day Eru asked them to follow him back to his family's shrine and he took his mask with him. While they stayed in their Pokeballs, patiently waiting for him to release them, he prepared a small bonfire, after lighting it he finally released them.

(Eru, what is up?) Jiya asked warmly as she and Cristal looked around.

(What is with the fire?) Cristal asked, expecting him to be doing some kind of 'islander ritual' involving the ritual.

"You're about to see…" He said simply as he looked at flame before lifting his still dirty, dusty, old helmet mask that he'd made when he was a kid.

He'd made this mask when he was younger and it was intended to stay with him for life, he'd figured it would have been there until the day he died so that it could be passed on to another. When the masks have no owner, they are often used by visitors to the island during the festival so that they could take part in them, and his 'spirit', who he was that embodied the mask, could return and enjoy the festival with everyone else 'through' whoever chose to wear it. That was the tradition behind the masks.

Instead, he stepped forward and planted the mask on the fire, immediately stepping back as it caught fire.

(Eru your mask!) Jiya exclaimed in shock.

"It's alright… that isn't who I am anymore." He told them quietly. "The boy who made that mask years ago doesn't exist anymore. As such… it no longer holds any meaning, and now I don't want it anymore."

He watched as the mask cracked and burned before him, watching a year of effort he spent making it burn away, but feeling a sense of peace as he did.

"I kept it because… I didn't want to think what I did for years was a waste, now I'm burning it so I can move on with you two." He explained as he sighed in relief. "Ever since you two came into my life, I've changed who I am, so I want to live as this new me, and the only way I can do that is by burning away the old me."

He smiled as he reached into his pocket and pulled out his medicine bottle of antidepressants.

(Eru… you don't plan on taking those anymore… right?) Cristal asked quietly.

He shook his head as he opened it up, poured the contents into his hands, and without feeling any regret tossed them into the blazing inferno that was the fire before him.

"I don't feel depressed anymore…" He replied to them with a smile. "I'll make a new mask, to reflect who I am 'now' because of you two… today is when I start my 'new' life, with you two… Cristal, Jiya!"

Both of them smiled warmly as they stepped up to him and nuzzled him lovingly, joining him in watching the mask burn on the cliff side before his family's shrine, the lugia statue sitting atop it looking more lifelike for some reason. Three months later, a new mask was made by Eru, just in time for the Legend Festival.

During the few months between that day, he burned his mask, and the day of the Legend Festival, Eru had found a new job given to him by the community leader Melody, 'Keeper of the Island's Traditions'. He was now tasked with not only keeping the traditions alive but sharing them with every islander and tourist that wanted to ask.

Sure, the pay wasn't as 'grand' as the title sounded but, Eru was happy and both his Lugia lovers were happy for him.

When the festival happened, the tribe agreed to bend the rules ever so slightly for him that year, so he was chosen instead of a tourist or new arrival to the island, to be the Chosen One of Prophecies. His task was to go to the three islands of Fire, Ice and Lightning, collect the three sacred treasures, bring them back to the shrine on Shamouti Island. Cristal and Jiya aided him, escorting him over the sea and swimming with him so that he could carry out his sacred duty. When he returned, he was given the honor to play the song of the guardian, to finish off the festival before the whole tribe and everyone else visiting the island. As he finished the final notes with Cristal and Jiya by his side, he could only cry happily as everyone applauded him for his efforts that day.

Someone else took the treasures when it was all over back to their resting places, and while everyone returned to their homes, some still celebrating the festival in their own ways, Eru, Cristal and Jiya returned to their home to 'celebrate' Eru's accomplishments that day.

Even if it was all scripted.

(Eru's/Jiya's/Cristal's PoV)

(Yes… ooh yes Eru… right there!) Jiya panted heavily as he thrust into her pussy, feeling his dick poke her entrance but being denied entrance.

"Jiya… I'm about to…"

(Come… come inside… inside my love… I want it~!) She panted heavily as she glanced back at him.

He gripped her waist tightly before giving an almighty thrust, slamming into her body and erupting his cum into her wet, warm and tight passage.

(Aaaaaaaah~!)

He gasped in pleasure as he slowly slid out and flopped next to Jiya as his seed left her, while Cristal leaned over as well, exhausted as well from their love making that night.

On the table nearby lay his new mask, painted with bright colors, adorned with white feathers donated by both the girls, and with two pearls and seashells that had been given to him months ago by the two of them.

He smiled happily as he kissed Jiya first, licking her beak-like lips and then her tongue for a few minutes, before looking over and kissing his second girl Cristal, who happily licked him back and smothered him in love. After a few minutes of love, they grew extremely tired from the sexual activities of the night, and Eru fell asleep first.

Jiya and Cristal however, smiled warmly at him, before glancing at each other's bellies.

None of the islanders, not even Eru, had noticed that they had a considerable 'bulge' to their bellies now. It wasn't too noticeable, but in a few more months even the most foolish human would realize something was up.

As deep inside of each of them, resting in a curled up fetal position were two Lugia offspring, still in the very early development stages of their life and not ready to be born into the world, but already it was obvious that each young were a mirrored image of their mothers. But unlike their mothers, they had tiny 'black' spikes along their backs and tail, the only thing that proved they were not natural born Lugia but instead the offspring of a Lugia mother and a Human father.

Each one felt them twitch, ever so slightly…

Both Cristal and Jiya smiled with joy, even so young and not fully developed, their children could sense their parents and especially their father being so close by.

And they knew instinctively they were happy.

(Cristal… when these two are born…) Jiya asked quietly.

(Yes Jiya… when they are born, let us ask Eru for another…) Cristal replied.

The thought of being maternal parents to beautiful offspring created by them and Eru, filled them with joy and pride.

As they slept, they felt themselves each think the same things.

Perhaps a 'new' tradition on Shamouti Island was founded that night, or that year at least, when a deep dwelling lone wander of the sea, found its way to that island by the Guardian's Song…

And became the guardian to a human soul, becoming 'one' with that soul for the rest of their days.

"Uuuuuuugh!" A guy complained as he climbed out of the water and onto dry land at last.

"That son of a bitch… ganna pay…" The other guy complained as he climbed out too, both of them aided by flying Pokemon who helped them out.

"We'll find those two Lugia and capture them… then scram from here… I want that ticket to easy street!"

"Too bad it won't be easy this time…"

"I wouldn't do that if I were you!"

They looked up to see a Slowbro it looked like, standing on its hind legs, and smiling at them while wearing a shell for a crown.

"Uh… did you… just… talk?"

"Yep, and if I were you, I'd leave before bad things happen." He said with a smile. "See the writer liked Lugia since the July 21, 2000 release when he first saw it, and currently the writer is thinking about how best to torture you for hurting them in this story."

"W… what?"

"What kind of talk are you talking?"

"Don't blame me, the writer is the one who still has his original Ancient Mew card and Lugia Coin from when he first saw the movie… so if I were you, I'd leave before he really gets any ideas!"

Both guys just glanced at each other before quickly getting up and making a break for it, followed by their confused by loyal Pokemon.

"Let's get out of here before something even Crazier happens to us!"

"We should have just gone fishing back home for our vacation!"

Slowking smiled as he watched them go before turning to the writer and giving him a thumbs up.

"Okay you all, see you next time when we see a male luxray redeem a lady who's been having a rough time in this fic, until then review away~!"
