I actually forgot to leave an important note at Chapter 12, especially since it was the first true fight between characters from RWBY

Which will be a reminder to you guys because I just discovered something after watching V1 and V3 again for the Holidays… and oh boy.
These guys are fast… the characters are so fast! I did a bit of digging and found out that Hunters-in-training are like Hypersonic fast to block bullets. Apparently, I have been following the speed of V4 to V8 in the story, which is sooo slow compared to Monty's work.
Okay now this is getting long… if you guys are still confused, don't worry… I will make it clear how fast Jaune and Adam are going.

Jaune has to say… something is not right.
A monster… a very disgusting one with a torso of a woman but with no legs and organs hanging out of it swung its razor-sharp claws at him.
Deadly claws blur as they aim at Jaune, but he bobbed and dodge each strike with ease, before activating his shield and slamming the rim straight to the monster's jaw…
… an audible crack resounded as the skull of the monster easily turned into powder.
Before the monster can hit the ground, Jaune ducked as a log swung over his head! The air tail was strong, enough to flutter his clothes as a green beast yelled in fury as it swung its log again.
But this time Jaune met it with his shield and parried.
The log flew back, jerking the beast to lose balance!
SHING!
A flash of silver was the last thing it saw as a Silver Sword stabbed through its chest, right at its heart before it twisted.
Jaune kicked the beast back to take his sword out. Blood spurts out from the wound and soak the ground.
"My goodness. Why are you always covered in blood." Jaune heard Lavinia comment as she flashes and froze dozens of monsters around her.
The monsters around her were two disgusting humanoid beasts with their organs showing off.
One with great wings landed on Jeanne, but said victim summoned Holy Swords from the ground, impaling the monster as it wailed and burned into ash.
"Krasue, Leyak, Penangganlan, or Mananangal" Sieg said as shredded multiple monsters in a second with four demon swords and two mass produced lightsabers, "different names from different cultures, but fucking are they disgusting!"
BANG BANG BANG "I know right!" Lint said as she shot one of the monsters at point-blank range.
Jaune slashed another one of the beasts, but rolled as another log nearly smacked him!
Jaune saw a huge beast, bigger than the troll before, and wore golden armor with a club!
"A Yak?" Jaune wonder a loud as the monster got into a battle stance.
"Looks like the 'bad' side of the ASEAN supernatural is bad" Lavinia commented with a touch of sarcasm.
The beast went to a guard stance with its club, like a warrior ready to fight to the death!
Jaune tossed tear gas to its face…
…smoke burned the eyes, nose, and ears of the Yak as it roared in pain! Letting go of its well-guarded stance and started to swing its club!
Each swing was fast! Shifting the wind per stroke. Jaune ran to close in, ducked, and weaved through the reckless attacks of the Yak. The club was so fast it could barely be seen! But with Jaune's new shield in compact form and light as a feather, Jaune easily flowed through the attacks!
Jaune closed in within a moment and swung a heavy slash at the Yak's knee. The Yak lost balance, then met a world of pain as Jaune jumped below its chin, and shoulder slammed him upwards!
The Yak snapped its head back from the impact. Teeth flying with Jaune soaring from the ground now above the monster, before body slamming on its head! The Yak was confused and hurt at how the fell a small human can make such a maneuver…
SLASH
… and that was it's last thought as Jaune slashed its skull open.
Another Yak screamed in anger at the sight of its brother and charged at Jaune.
The Huntsman saw the monster approaching and grabbed hold of the fallen club; it was heavy, his muscles tensed, and he lifted the monstrosity, then twisted on his heel and SLAMMED at it at the approaching monster.
BAM!
With the force of the swing and the speed of the monster, the club broke into splinters… and broke the Yak's ribcage too. Splinters flew in all directions, some impaling the Yak and others peppering Jaune's aura.
The rest of the monsters saw how powerful the group was, immediately knew that they were losing… and retreated.
The tropical forest is now soaked in blood as multiple corpses lay, and many of them slowly turn into ash. Jaune narrowed his eyes as he observed the leyak he slashed a moment ago. Its body presented signs of silver poisoning from his blade, however, the slash wound itself had bits of ash and so on. Holy Aura Damage.
He looked at his silver sword as saw its gleam with the iconography of the 12 apostles. That is probably why he made holy damage. But that also begs the question.
He looked at the other monster turning to ash by Jeanne's Sacred Gear, Sieg's Lightsabers, and Lint's holy bullets.
"These monsters are not immune to Holy Aura," Jaune announced.
"Hmmm…" Lavinia said, "maybe the mutation only works for vampires."
"But these monsters are classified as vampires too." Sieg said, "of course, they are low-class vampires, they are vampires nevertheless."
"Then again snakes have different anti-venoms per breed." Lavinia argued, "it is either that Vampire Lord is too dumb to consider other vampire breeds, or countering God's System proved to be a difficult path."
Jaune merely listened to his friend's discussion as he looked around more. Something else is not right, he can feel it.
Why there were not enough monsters?
Why did they retreat easily?
Jaune's eyes-widen for a moment as he briefly remembered a common tactic he and his enemies has used during the Grimm War.
Diversion
"Guys!" Jaune said, "we are not in the right place."
The entire group looked at him, confused, "What do you mean? They told us their soldiers died around here." Jeanne said.
"And where is the base then." Jaune reasoned as he observed the rather intact forest, "the damage in the forest matches the power of the Longinus, but technically, we should be facing that cross by now if they are still here."
Jaune looked around more and began searching. He found traces of soldiers, of an old fight, and even magic.
After minutes, he found all of these traces, are old, now new activity.
"Are you sure that this is the place?"
"They teleported us to the exact coordinates where they made the emergency extraction of their soldiers."
"So technically we are supposed to be near their base, which if we are, we are supposed to face the cross, not some minions," Jaune reasoned, "Lavinia, do you detect any magical teleportation aside from ASEAN magic?"
"… no. I did not."
"They disappeared and used those monsters a while ago as a diversion. But no magic, total disappearance of an entire base." Jaune thought, "how is that possible?"
"Dimension Lost" Lavinia said, "that is the only possible way to make such a teleportation without magic"
"Great… two Longinuses are with a terrorist organization." Lint commented, "before we know it the True Longinus is also in their ranks!"
Jaune didn't like the sound of that. But he ignored an unpleasant memory and started to look for clues… "there as be some clues where they went next."
"Sorry Jaune, but Dimension Lost is that efficient in cleaning and teleporting their mess." Lavinia stated, "there is a reason why a 'Teleporting' Sacred Gear ranks one of the highest Longinus"
Jaune sighed.
Dead end
"Oh no…" Jeanne said, "can we detect maybe, I don't know. The energy patterns of Incarnate Anthem?"
Lavinia shook her head, "Sacred Gear although does give out their energy, only if they are still unstable; Walburga had years to master her Longinus."
"…wait," Jaune said, "can Sarajana make a device to detect energy?"
"Yeah, they certainly have enough tech to even detect the magical waves being disturbed due to the Holy Flames."
"Then I have an idea."

"Fascinating" a lady, which is basically a ghost, said, "Being a White Lady allows me to be intimate with Soul Energy, but yours is extremely different ejo." Magic scanned Jaune's hand as he pulsed ihis aura and his hand glowed white, "It is like Touki, but… different."
Jaune made a strained smile as our worldly technology scanned his aura and numbers gathered on the screen.
"All done." The ghost scientist said, "now dear, what do you want to be to do with this?"
"Please use that same energy code, and look for anything similar to it."
"And how does this help?"
"Someone like me is in that base," Jaune said as his friends looked at him weirdly, while Lint looked concerned.
The ghost nodded and typed some codes into her keyboard. Later the screen showed a map of Earth and the surprising maps of two unfamiliar dimensions.
"Interesting…" The Ghost said as she looked at the maps in complete shock, "One is obviously here, and another one is located in Indonesia."
"There is where the base is then."
"Jaune." Lint said with extreme concern in her face, "Do you know anyone from the Vatican like you?" Lint said as she pointed to the screen.
It was Earth's map and there are five dots indicating people like him. One in Thailand (which is him), one in Indonesia, another in Japan and Egypt apparently, and finally one dot smacked right in the middle of Rome.
Jaune just smiled with annoyance.
That man is really Port!
"Interesting, so Baraqiel has a connection to you, Jaune?" Lavinia said as she looked at another map which is apparently Hell.
"Jaune… do you know anyone from Heaven?" Jeanne said with a tinge of sadness as she looked at the last map with the label of "Heaven"
"No…"
"Jaune, do you think it is the soul of our parents?"
"Jeanne, I don't think our parents have my aura."
"But there got to be an explanation of your aura!" Jeanne yelled, "our parents died Jaune, maybe that dot in the Heaven map is one of them!"
"You know we don't know if they really are dead, Jeanne. We just showed up at the church's doorstep."
Jeanne had tears leaky in her eyes at the harsh truth but then felt a hug from her brother.
"Jaune…"
"I am sorry Jeanne. But who knows, maybe it is our grandparents…" Jaune tries to lie in order to comfort his sister.
Jeanne never showed much, but apparently, she still has concerns about their parents or Jaune's second parents. And her assumption has some ground considering that she never knew the truth about Aura.
"Sorry to pop your bubble Sister Jeanne, but our maps of Heaven are not accurate" the ghost informed, "if anything… that dot can be either in first heaven or in the Throne of God itself… so we shouldn't assume it belongs to a soul in third heaven."
"Heh…" Jeanne bitterly says, "maybe that belongs to God."
"Maybe…" Jaune can only reply. But that means someone like him is either an Angel or God himself.
Looking back at the dot in Indonesia, Jaune looked on with determination…
… looks like he will face Adam so soon again.
"Can you take us to that exact location?"
"With our tech? Definitely" The ghost replied, "but first…"
She then type more codes into her keyboard and later, an iPhone appeared with numerous codes uploaded from on its screen.
"Take this" the White Lady gave the phone to Jaune, "after a quick analysis, your 'aura' has the function of a forcefield…"
"… with a health bar." Jaune finished.
"Exactly. So, this phone" she lifts the iPhone, "can help you track your 'health bar'"
Jaune was shocked, as he gingerly picked up the phone and activated the screen.
[Jaune Arc: 100%]
Jaune smiled.
Finally.
"Jaune…" Lint slowly said, "you were tracking Adam, were you?"
The air of the lab got tense…
"Wait? Adam?!" Jeanne screamed, "you know who this guy is?!"
Jaune was about to make an excuse until "please don't argue in my lab…" the ghost scientist cut in. And with speed, Jeanne pulled Jaune out of the room and slammed him to the wall.
[Jaune Arc: 99.9%]
"So, you do know that man who has aura too!" Jeanne accused, "how do you know him? You know he was dangerous so why didn't report to the church?"
"Jeanne I can explain…"
"Then do it!"
"It is too complicated."
"Jaune." Lint gently says, "you have to tell us. Like it or not, you are an anomaly, your aura is one; we need to know who Adam is, what he is truly capable of. He even defeated you twice."
"And from the sound of that," Sieg said, "the fucker is a beast."
Jaune closed his eyes as the stress builds up, he glared at Lint but she didn't seem so affected by it. So Jaune breathed in and relax.
"I… you know you are really pushing me to the corner guys."
"Jaune." Jeanne looked sad, "what are you hiding."
Jaune looked at the hurt eyes of his sister.
"Jaune, I held you tightly and scared when that Adam fellow defeated you…" her voice was shaky, "you are the strongest man I know, Jaune. I think the only person who can defeat you is Bishop Strada. You who with skill, tactics, and leadership inspires many exorcists and many others."
"True Jaune. You have to hear it." Sieg added, "even I, wielders of Demonic Swords of the Norse had to keep up with you. Heck, the wielder of Durandal always wanted to spar with you if it weren't for your schedule."
"…then." Jeanne said, "a samurai comes out of nowhere, and all of a sudden you unleashed speed like nothing I have seen before and battle him with reckless abandon. And lost due to that samurai's aura. Please."
Jaune wanted to look away, but the crack in Jeanne's voice hurt him. Yes keeping this secret is important. But in the same time, he could not keep it anymore considering he is hurting Jeanne. He already hurt his first family by running away in the middle of the night, and he knows every well what happened in Atlas when secrets hard kept too hard.
... and she needs to know about the Arcs.
"…semblance." Jaune corrected, "Lavinia can you make a silencing spell, and… you know. Not listen in?"
"Of course." Lavinia easily nodded, "your secrets are your own. And as a magician, that is sacred."
Later the four friends were covered by mana as the silencing spell activated.
"Jeanne…" Jaune slowly said, "you are my twin… but you are also my 8th sister."
Then Jaune began the tale. The tale of Remnant. A boy who ran away with his grandfather's sword. Him puking on Yang's shoes. Everything.
Jeanne and Sieg were shocked and that is an understatement.
"Holy shit" Sieg became the most expressive he has ever been for years; gone is his stoic look, "so those other dots are also Huntsmen? SO, WHO THE HELL IS IN THE VATICAN?!"
Jaune grimace… "I have my suspicions… I think Bishop Strada is one."
Sieg's jaw dropped, "Of course! The strongest human is a huntsman! No one can survive that war of yours!"
"But it is just speculation though. Strada never confronted me about it, especially since I was his student in my last life."
"Wait, so you cannot tell?" Sieg asked.
"Nope. I only have vivid memories of people who are extremely close to me such as my family and best friends. Teachers, comrades, and even lovers do not have that privilege sadly"
"So, who do you think Strada is?"
"Professor Port."
"Okay, I don't know that guy."
"There was not that much to talk about Professor Port." Jaune shrugged.
"It is funny though." Lint suddenly said, "after hearing the story the second time, my theory has more logic to it… even though it still sounds stupid."
"huh, what do you mean?" Jaune raised an eyebrow.
"Team RWBY are fairytale characters… but I was extremely confused on CVFY at first, but after hearing other characters again, I can say in full confidence that CVFY is based on food!"
"I don't get it Lint."
"Ruby is Little Red Riding Hood, Weiss is Snow White, Blake is Pocahontas, and Yang is Goldilocks! Remember what I said that maybe Remnant is the Land of Oz? I am trying to piece together who the other people are."
"Lint, I watched the movie… the Land of Oz cannot have people who are food. That is closer to the Land of Oh from Adventure Time."
"Yes, I get that! But what if the Land of Oz also has that? The author of Wizard of Oz can't tell everyone what the place is truly like!"
"Lint, no."
"Anddd! I did some digging! Team FNKI are memes!"
"… I am sorry what?!"
Then Lint zoomed in to Jaune and show him her phone with a pixelated cat flying through space with a rainbow trail.
"Nyan Nyan Nyan Nyan Nyan~"
"Seems familiar?"
"Neon?"
"Exactly! And there is this new game everyone got hooked on, it is called Minecraft and I think…"
"Jaune." Suddenly, Jeanne called him. It sounded fragile and hopeful.
Looking at his sister, she saw that she was crying. Her face mixed with the emotion of grief, yet joy.
"Can you tell me more about our parents and sisters?" Then she tried to wipe her tears, "maybe about Adrian too."
Jaune gave Jeanne a gentle smile… "Of course. Time for me to tell you about the Arc Family, your family."
Jeanne then held Jaune close. "Our Family."
Author's notes
I really don't know if this chapter was short… but for the sake of pacing, I will end this here.
So Jaune got another device! And it allows him to check his aura! This is important for him and I with future fights, especially since canon characters are entering the story soon!
Yes! Next Arc will have canon characters, and even some story beats from canon. Since this is Fanfiction I can switch the story a bit. Hahahahaha yeah, so the next arc will deal with a problem that Issei was originally supposed to solve but instead, we get Jaune to do it.
And what is this? Jaune and Adam are the officially known natives of Remnant. But we get to have a sneak peek at who else can be from Remnant.
Also, the truth is revealed! There is a reason why I had to do so, especially for the next arc.
Also! Lint is still figuring out who is who! She got some things on point, but technically speaking, everything she figure out is really stupid.
CVFY is based on food. Don't get me wrong I love that reference in RWBY, but once you try to make it serious like Lint, it just turns plain stupid.

BTW, NDGO is just based on the color itself and another project of RT. SNNN is based on Korean boybands, Gods, Peter Pan, and… a lot.

-1 Year before the current story-
Jaune is concerned… why?
Well… apparently a boy has been talking to his sister.
Jaune steadied his breathing to minimize any possible noise as he sat on a branch and watch his twin sister talk to another golden hair blonde. In the middle of the night.
Suspicious. But Jaune had 7 sisters and raised Summer and Mulan to see the signs and all.
Jeanne is smitten by this boy. Sure, she has no idea about it considering that she is basically sheltered, but Jaune believes that it is nothing too deep considering that Jeanne is too sheltered; she really didn't get alone time with boys without the eyes of the nuns and priest in charge who are hard on any romantic development or any sexual activity, which makes sense considering that they are priests and nun trainees.
Oh boy, the boy lightly touched Jeanne's hand as she giggled and blushed.
Now Jaune doesn't know what to do now. Sure, technically what they are doing is harmless by normal standards, but Jeanne is a nun… an anointed nun unlike him who is merely a layman.
Jaune must step in, for her sake unless tears and blood will be shed which will affect her entire life.
Jaune hopped down from his branch.
He landed with a noise intended to catch their attention.
"Ahh!"
"Fuck!"
Both blondes looked at the third blonde with a scare as Jeanne realized who it was and turned beet red!
"JAUNE THIS IS NOT WHAT YOU THINK IT IS?"
"Oh really? There was something." The boy said with a smug tone as he pulled Jeanne into a shoulder hug and she blushed.
The boy was handsome on the pretty boy's side with golden hair and smooth skin. Jaune would have definitely understood why Jeanne is going this far… but something was off.
That smile. That smug smile reminds him of someone too much.
Neptune
And it was not the familiarity he often gets with Port/Strada. No. It was the facial expression Neptune help him see and analyze.
When he was given the responsibility of raising Mulan, Jaune immediately went to two people. His mother and Neptune.
He asked his mother "How to raise a daughter right?" and got a good answer.
Then he went to Neptune and asked, "How do I make sure my niece, will never fall for a boy like you?"
Neptune laughed at the joke but gave a good answer. "Make sure you say 'I love you' to her, or else she will look for another man to say it."
But that is not all that he answered, "of course sometimes boys can even pick well-loved girls; they do this swagger way to seduce them into the 'sexual' kind of love which obviously you can never give little Mulan. Watch, this is the face they usually do."
And Neptune showed him, even now Jaune can't remember what Neptune looked like, but he remembered how he did that facial expression. And it was on this boy's face right now.

"I would like you to step away from Jeanne. Now." Jaune said with a tone of firm authority. Jeanne was shocked at how firm Jaune sounded.
The boy stepped back without him even knowing he did so, as the General of the Five United Kingdoms rose for the first time on Earth to command the boy.
The boy realized his fear and frowned in defiance.
"Or what?"
Normally that is the common comeback of any rebellious boy. But something happened.
Something danced on Jaune's aura for a moment, feeling the alarm coming from his soul. He knew this warning. In Remnant, it means Grimm is around.
In Earth?
Devil
Jaune looked immediately at Jeanne and see she was just worriedly looking at him, the type that she got caught rather than the type when there is a threat.
Jaune looked back at the boy and saw that he got cocky, thinking maybe Jaune is hesitating…
So Jaune smiled. "Tell me. What is your name?"
The boy smiled even more smugly, thinking that he maybe is winning.
"Diodora."
"Diodora." Jaune smile.
*Heartbeat*
"IN THE NAME OF GOD! I BAPTIZE YOU!" Jaune yelled loudly as Diodora screamed like hell as his skin boiled.
BAM!
Then Jaune slammed his fist, hard, at Diodora's face, and launched him to the sky.
Then he proceeded to pick up a shocked Jeanne and ran back to their dorm! Jaune burst with aura and turned into a comet as he sped to safety! Not even close to the dorm, he arrived at the street filled with priests and nuns minding their business.
"HELP! A DEVIL IS HERE!" He screamed and that was enough to get nearly a hundred exorcists to activate their lightsabers and charge where Jaune and Jeanne came from.
Jaune looked at Jeanne and saw the utter shock on her face. Healer nuns immediately and worriedly checked on her as they comforted a broken hearted maiden, of course, they never knew the last part.
Officially, Holy Maiden and Monster Hunter Jeanne Arc was attacked by a Devil named Diodora.
Hell denies such activity.
Pope Benedict declared that the Devil Diodora did so.
Hell compensated the Church.

I honestly think the reason why Canon!Jeanne strayed to the Hero Faction because Diodora made her excommunicated because of her Holy Maiden status, but instead turning into Diodora's sex slave, she was recruited by Cao Cao first and became his pawn.
