Author's Notes: Hey everyone, someone mentioned in the reviews that I am going back to the damsel in distress Sansa. It got me thinking and it helped me thinking about what is going to happen. Not sure entirely yet but it's a start, so thanks Something90. As always I own nothing.

After they took her back to her cell and threw her in Sansa fell to the floor. She heard the sound of the door locking behind her but paid it no mind. Her back felt like it was on fire and her mind seemed to be full of fog. Gradually both receded enough for her to think clearly. She had to get out of here, she did not know how many more of those whippings she could take and she was not eager to find out. But how was she to get out? Even if she could leave her cell she would have to make it all the way through the Great Sept and the city to reach the Red Keep and did she really want to go back there? It was full of Lannisters and she did not want to be indebted to those who had killed her family. Also, when Tywin arrived he might very well sack the city, as Maester Luwin had told them he had done once before. She had no desire to be in the city when that happened. As she sat there mulling over what to do a plan came to her and she smiled a smile much like her husband's in the dark.

As always the septa came to her cell and demanded that Sansa confess. This time Sansa lay at the back of the cell, her face turned away from the other woman, pretending to be asleep. This forced the older woman to come farther into the cell to kick Sansa awake. Before her foot connected Sansa turned and looked her full in the eye and sent her mind into the other woman. She had not entered another human for some time and had forgotten just how difficult it was. Even taken off guard the woman fought Sansa and her will was much stronger than the Mountain's had been. Fortunately, Sansa did not have to hold her long. Under her control the woman staggered to the wall and slammed her head into it several times, each sent a stab of pain through Sansa but she held on and after the second blow the woman fell to the ground and Sansa relinquished her hold on the woman and returned to her own body.

She lay on the ground panting, both exhausted and terrified that someone had heard the commotion. However; no one came and at last she was able to convince herself that no one had heard the commotion. Going over to the prone septa Sansa saw that she was still breathing, not knowing how long she would be unconscious Sansa set to work. She stripped the septa of her clothing and then tore two strips of cloth from her own worn garment. One she used to tie the woman's hands and the other she stuffed in her mouth. Sansa then put on the septa's garments, to her annoyance the woman had no shoes, she doubted that she got the head wrapping completely correct but she would just have to hope for the best. She left the cell and locked the door behind her, if luck was with her she would be out of the sept before her escape was discovered.

Sansa walked toward the main areas of the sept, keeping her head down to avoid being recognized and with her heart pounding so hard it was causing her physical pain. Every second she expected to hear a shout raised to signal that her escape had been found out or someone had seen through her disguise, every time she passed members of the Faith Militant she expected to feel hands grabbing her but neither happened. Finally, after what seemed like hours, she found herself in the main sanctuary of the sept which was filled with worshipers. Sansa mingled among these, acknowledging the respectful nods which many gave to her. At last she saw the doors leading to the outside. She had a sudden urge to run but that would have given her away so though her whole body was screaming for her to run as fast as she could she forced herself to walk at a steady pace, keeping her head down as if in prayer, to the doors. Her heart leaped into her throat as one of the Faith Militant guarding the door turned to look at her, she was certain that he saw the fear in her eyes but decided to try to brazen it out.

"Blessings of the Seven on you Brother." She said nodding to hide her face and keeping her voice low to hide any tremble in it. He look at her for a moment and then he retuned her nod.

"And may their blessings be with you as well Sister." He replied and then she was past him. She walked down the steps, still fighting the urge to run and then she was at the bottom of the steps and away. As she walked past people going to the sept she breathed in the air. She was free! She resisted the urge to jump up in the air with glee. Instead, she forced herself to keep walking as she considered her next step.

Now that she had escaped she was ready to continue her quest for revenge but she could no longer do so from among the Lannisters. There was a good chance that Lord Tywin might make Tyrion stay in King's Landing, especially after the problems with the Faith. In addition to hating the city with a passion, there were simply too many eyes upon her, including the eyes of Lord Tywin, whom everyone said was the most cunning man in the Seven Kingdoms. Also, she remembered the look the Queen had given her as well as the attack on the way to Dorne. If Sansa were to return to the Red Keep Cersei would likely either make another attempt on her life or she would turn her back over to the Faith Militant, neither of which were appealing to her.

She needed someone that she could rely on, someone the Queen could not bribe or intimidate and who wouldn't be cowed by the displeasure of the Faith. She needed her sister. They had not always gotten along but Sansa could not deny that her younger sister had courage, or at least willfulness and stubbornness, which would be just as good, she also hated the Queen and had always held to the Old Gods rather than the Seven. Sansa was still uneasy about meeting her sister again after all that had happened but Sansa was certain Arya would be more than willing to help Sansa in her plans, though Sansa might have to convince Arya that they could not simply march into the Red Keep and start stabbing everyone inside. Sansa smiled slightly at the thought, her sister was a lot like Brienne in that way.

That thought made her come up short, what was she going to do about Brienne? The woman was probably worried half out of her mind about Sansa and when she heard that she had escaped she would likely go and search for her. While Sansa was grateful for that she also did not want to be responsible for something happening to Brienne if she were to go looking for her. She would have to find a way to get a message to Brienne and once she got to the Eyre arrange for her to join her there. Now all she had to do was figure out how to get to the Eyre.

She had no horse and it was too far to walk. It would be far faster to travel to Gull Town and then go the rest of the way on foot. Unfortunately she had no money and she doubted any would be willing to take her for free. Just then the bells of the sept took on a new tone and she could hear shouting from the Faith Militant, the sounds made her heart stop for a moment and her body felt that ice water was being poured down it. Whatever she was going to do she would have to do it fast, her escape had been discovered.

Author's Notes: Hey everyone, I hope you liked it. For the next chapter or two we'll be having Sansa having to survive on her own with only her wits, or lack thereof according to some. Till next time please pray for the two Sudanese pastors who will hear the verdict of their case tomorrow, as well as a boy missing at sea and those hurt in a tent collapse and victims of human trafficking and everyone else who needs prayer. Bye and may Jesus bless you.
