Author's Notes: Hey everyone, glad that you liked the last chapter, I hope you like this one as well, as always I own nothing. SORT OF SPOILERISH

Despite his surliness, the captain was as good as his word. Less than an hour after Sansa had boarded the ship the cargo was loaded and the ship weighed anchor and set sail. Sansa had been on edge the entire time, expecting at any moment to see members of the Faith Militant storming down the dock to arrest her. But there was no sign of them and before she knew it the ship was making its way through Black Water Bay, past the blackened wrecks of Stannis Baratheon's ships. From a corner that she had stationed herself in order to be out of the way of the crew Sansa watched the wrecks slip past and wondered if things might not have been better if Stannis had won. She then dismissed the thought as pointless and instead focused on the future.

Once she got to Gull Town she would still have to make her way to the Eyre itself which, if she remembered the lessons in geography which Maester Luwin had attempted to teach her, was quite aways away from Gull Town. Her bluff had worked on the captain but that was in King's Landing, where the fear of the Faith Militant had been ingrained in people, she doubted that it had spread all the way to the Vale. She could not simply identify herself as Sansa, who would believe her? And, anyway, it was dangerous to have the Stark name. Also, she was married to Tyrion Lannister, who had often complained about his unjust treatment by her aunt so claiming the Lannister name was probably not a good idea either. Besides, once the Queen learned of her escape she would likely assume that Sansa would flee to her aunt and send people there. No, all in all, it would likely be better to remain in her disguise till she reached the Eyre.

The voyage was initially without incident. The captain remained cold to her and refrained from speaking to her but many of the crew were far friendlier. Once they were clear of Black Water Bay one of them drew a bucket of seawater and lent her a brush to scrub the filth off of her feet. She hissed at the sting but continued to scrub. Her feet were still sore and the rough, splintery wood of the ship's deck did not help, but she forced herself to walk about the deck and as the voyage continued and her feet scabbed over she found it easier and easier to walk on them.

While the captain would probably not have cared one way or the other if she starved the other members of the crew raised no protest when she got in line for meals with the rest of the crew. To keep up her appearance she said a blessing over the meals, some crew joined in others did not but none questioned her doing so. She felt somewhat guilty when men came to her for confession but she prayed with them and told them that the Seven forgave them, as she told herself, even if the gods did exist she doubted that they were listening. Though the days were still warm they were beginning to cool, another sign of the changing of the seasons and the nights were downright cold. The crew's generosity did not extend to blankets so she had to curl herself up on the deck at night and shiver herself to sleep. In the morning she would awaken cold and stiff and while the days were cooling the sun was still strong and so by the time they drew near to Gull Town her face had been burned by both sun and wind.

She waited till the cargo was unloaded and the crew had gone to seek the pleasures of the town before she disembarked. Though her feet were tougher than they had been she still was flinching as she walked and she made her way to the nearest tavern. As she had suspected the fear of the Faith did not extend this far from King's Landing. The inn keeper was not much happier than the captain had been but he allowed her a spot at one of the tables and allowed her a bowl of watery soup, a mug of water and a hunk of black bread. Once she would have turned away such fare, but now she dug in hungrily. As she ate she listened to the talk of the patrons, among whom were some of the crew of the ship that she had come on.

The Vale had stayed out of the war so Sansa had expected the talk to be about what was going on in King's Landing, but it was not. Instead the talk was about the Eyrie and what had developed there. To her shock and horror people were saying that Aunt Lysa was dead and her sister Arya was the killer.

"It's true I tell you." A man was telling one of the sailors. "The wolf-girl went mad they say and pushed her ladyship right out of the Moon Door."

"What in Seven Hells would poses someone to turn kin-slayer?" The sailor demanded.

"Who knows," his companion said; "Those Northerners are queer folk and they say the girl was half wild when she came to the Eyre."

"So that boy of hers is Lord of the Eyre now is he?" At that the other man seemed a bit uneasy.

"Well, you see, that is a bit of a tricky question. You see till his lordship comes of age, there needs to be a regent. Unfortunately, the nobles can't agree on who that should be. A group of them, calling themselves the Lords Declarant, have declared that they will share the regency between them. However; not all the other nobles are happy, the Corbrays and the like. They are all at one another's throats and some people say that it is only a matter of time till they call their banners to settle the matter." Nearby, a man who had been listening to the conversation shook his head.

"Here I was thinking we had let all that pass us by, now it seems the wars have found us after all." As the others nodded in glum agreement Sansa took her courage in both her hands and spoke up.

"What happened to her? The girl I mean?" As she spoke she did her best to keep her anxiety out of her voice and just sound curious.

"Gone," one of the men said; "The guards tried to seize her but she fled and no one had seen her since, though how she escaped the Eyre is beyond me." As the talk continued Sansa stared down at the bowl of soup. What would she do now?

Author's Notes: Hey everyone, sorry that it was short, next will be longer. If you are surprised please remember what Ramsey said about happy endings. As to why the whole through the Moon Door happened, I figured that Peter's death would have sent her even further off the edge and do you really think Arya would have done anything else if threated with the plunge? As I said, the next will be longer, care to guess what will happen? Till then please pray for the family of the Caron City deputy killed recently in the line of duty in addition to the usual prayer requests. Bye and may Jesus bless you.
