Author's Notes: Hey everyone, I am not dead, sorry if I gave that impression. As always I own nothing. Spoiler Alert!

Sansa's friend refused to let go of her all the way back to Sansa's sleeping area. She cried till she had no tears left and then started to hiccup violently. Sansa was concerned for her and did want to comfort her, yet at the same time the sight of Theon had ignited a burning anger within her and she wanted to ensure that he was punished. She wanted to go to the King and demand his head. She would have offered to do the deed herself but she doubted that the King would permit it, seeing it as something unseemly for a woman.

As soon as they got back Theon was taken to see the King, Sansa wanted to go as well but Jeyne would not let go of her and Sansa did not have the heart to force her off. So instead she sent Alysane to go see what was discussed, Yara of course had gone as well, and remained with her friend till she fell asleep. Sometime later Alysane and Yara returned, the latter looking troubled.

"What happened?" Sansa asked Alysane.

"I don't know my lady, the King took the turn-cloak to the watch tower with some of his knights and the ones who brought him and is allowing none to enter." Yara looked, if not sad or worried, at least concerned and a bit of something else which Sansa could not quite identify. She felt an impulse to comfort the other woman but ruthlessly squashed it, she was Ironborn and her brother had murdered Sansa's and so she said nothing.

As the meager supper was being served Jeyne woke up. She did not seem to know where she was at first and started to panic, crying that she was a good wife and would please her lord husband. Sana had to hold her again till the crying and hysterics subsided to shaking and low sobs. Sansa tried to find words comfort her but could not think of any. She considered some of the old songs her mother used to sing but those made her feel pain at the memories and many of them were about the Seven and she no longer believed in them. Instead she just lay there, stroking her friend's hair and vowing that whomever had done this to her friend would suffer a horrible fate and curse the day that they had been born before she was done to them. Though Jeyne took up most of her attention she did notice that something else seemed to be happening.

The morning after Jeyne and Theon's arrival the King, who had not left the watch tower since he had taken Theon there, called for the Karstarks to break their fast with him and they had not returned and Alysane told her that men had been seen moving about. At last, at around noon, Sansa managed to get away from her sleeping friend and went to investigate. They soon found Sir Horpe and asked what was going on.

"Those the Umber men brought in have proven to quite useful, though the news that they bring was not all to the King's liking."

"What do you mean?" Sansa asked. For a moment the man looked as if he would not answer but at last made up his mind and told her.

"In two ways my lady. The first was the exposure that the Boltens have no marriage ties to your house, which will lessen their legitimacy in the eyes of the other houses, or so the King hopes. The second and far less to the King's liking is the news that the Karstarks are traitors."

"What!?" Sansa cried.

"I fear it is true my lady. The turn-cloak told the King that they had made an arrangement with the Boltons to lead the King into a trap and destroy him and the army." Sansa heard herself snort.

"And the King took the word of a turn-cloak?"

"It was not just his word my lady. The King investigated and found proof of their treachery. This morning they were taken into custody and their men disarmed. The King has not decided yet if they are to be beheaded or burned." Though burning was a terrible fate and they were her kin, Sansa found that she did not much care one way or another how they died. Her family had been brought to their ruin by traitors and she had no sympathy for them. She was just about to go back to Jeyne when Yara, who had been off somewhere returned. She had a look which almost Sansa think she was nervous, except that would be ridiculous. In her usual direct way she came right up to Sansa and spoke her mind.

"Lady Sansa, I have a request to make of you." Sansa replied with a raised eyebrow. "The King has decleared that my brother must die for what he has done. I cannot contest this and I will not attempt to do so, but the King has stated that my brother must burn." Sansa found that for once she liked the idea of someone burning.

"And what exactly is it that you wish me to do?" Sansa asked.

"I wish for you to speak to the King and encourage him to behead my brother himself, with his own hand."

"Why should I do that?" Sansa asked in cold tone of voice.

"I know that you have cause to hate my brother, but consider this. These burnings, while popular among the King's men, are rather less so with your own folk. On the other hand, to take Theon's head himself would be quite pleasing to them and would further strengthen his standing among them." Before Sansa could reply Alysane hurried up to them.

"Some of the scouts are returning and they have someone with them and they are demanding to see the King at once!"

Author's Notes: Well, what did you think? I wanted to illustrate a difference between Sansa and Arya. Arya, I think, is losing her while here I wanted to make Sansa chose between a friend and her anger. Also later in the chapter, to choose between her own desires and what is best for the cause she has allied herself with. Burning or beheading which should she chose? Feel free to let me know in the reviews. Till then please pray for Asia Bibi, the Pakistani woman under a death sentace for her Christian faith, as well as Pervaiz Masih another Pakistani Christian facing persecution for his faith and all others who suffer for their beliefs. Also, the victims of the San Bernardino shooting and their families and that such violence will end and all who need prayer, including several people here in Nevada who have gone missing. Bye and may Jesus bless you
