Author's Notes: Hey everyone, sorry that it has been so long, I hope this make it up to you, as always I own nothing.

Pandemonium reigned in the camp. Men ran about yelling and orders, mostly of contradictable nature, were thrown about and it was quite apparent that no one was in charge and no one knew what was going on. All the while the Ironborn ships drew closer. Ironically, it seemed that the Ironborn gaining control of two of the dragons may have actually foiled their trap. The Queen's own ships were also reacting to the unexpected development and were slowing down, as if waiting to see how the situation would be resolved. The Ironborn ships were, in their turn, reaction to the new development of their foes. Even as Sansa watched their ships dug their oars into the water, slowing their ships as well and apparently waiting to see how the battle in the sky would turn out.

In the sky about the dragons turned, wheeled, circled and buffeted each other in a dance which was both terrifying and awe inspiring. A singer had once come to Winterfell and had stayed till he had sung all the songs that he knew twice. Among those songs had been ones which covered the Dance of the Dragons, the Targaryen civil war, where dragon had fought dragon. Sansa had not enjoyed the songs as much as Arya and her brothers had, but the images that his songs had drawn in her mind had remained. The songs; however, had failed to do justice to the act.

The Queen was riding the largest of the dragons, easily twice the size of either of the other two. However; she was clearly attempting to drive the other two away from the Ironborn ships and back to land while hurting them as little as possible, which seriously restricted her ability to make use of her dragon's superior strength. The other two dragons had no such restrictions and fought with all their strength. They did not appear to be interested in attacking the Queen, rather they seemed intent on flying to the ship from which the hellish horn had sounded, attacking the Queen only when she interfered with their efforts. This amounted to them snapping at the black dragon or sending bursts of flame at it when it got too close to them. It soon became apparent to them that the Queen was not going to abandon her efforts to drive them back to her camp, they turned on her in full.

They both turned and flew straight at her, unleashing blasts of flame which the Queen was forced to rise sharply in order to avoid them. She then dove at them, forcing them to split apart. Despite this the Queen was having trouble forcing them to maneuver where she wanted them to go. Despite, or maybe because of, their smaller size they were both faster and more maneuverable than the larger black dragon. Even as they split apart the two smaller dragons appeared to change tactics.

The green dragon flew up into the sky while the white one flew down closer to the water. This caused the Queen to pause, circling her dragon as she clearly tried to determine what course of action to take. The two dragons were not prepared to allow her to make a decision about what to do and attacked, with the green dragon diving down at her, making Sansa think of a hawk striking at its prey, while the white one rose up from below. The Queen turned to the side in an effort to avoid these attacks. She was able to avoid the green dragon, but was not quite fast enough to avoid the white one and it bit down on the black's tail.

The black, for its part, issued a roar so loud that Sansa and those around her were forced to clap their hands over their ears in an effort to block it out. It then turned and snapped at the white dragon as it flew past. The blow landed and while the white was still flying blood was clearly seen dripping from it. The green took advantage of the black's distraction to launch another blast of flame which washed over both the black dragon and the Queen. The black responded by sending a blast of black flame towards the green dragon, it appeared that the pain of its injuries had reduced the amount of control which the Queen had over the dragon and it was becoming more and more wild. It followed the retreating green dragon, sending more blasts of flame. The white one gave chase, shooting out flames of its own. The black dragon turned back to face it and the green turned and moved to aid the white one.

What followed was something which Sansa would remember for the rest of her days. The dragons rose, dived and wheeled about in a dance of death. Despite their immense size they seemed to move with a grace which no human could ever hope to match, all at speeds which seemed both incredibly fast and yet slow and graceful at the same time. Their flames blazed brighter than the sun and when all three let lose blasts at the same time flames of gold, red, orange, green and black all blended together in a beautiful, yet hellish mocker of the rainbow of the Seven which eclipsed the sun for its heat. In place of the chants which were heard in the septs there were the cries and roars of the dragons which seemed to shake the very earth that the observers stood on.

Cries of alarm caused her to reluctantly draw her eyes away from the battle above. The Ironborn had clearly not been distracted by the aerial conflict raging above and had resumed their advance. They had reformed their ships to form a wedge, with the larger ships in the middle and the smaller ships forming up on the flanks. They had pushed through the Queen's ships and many of them had beached and were landing warriors on the beach.

Author's Notes: Hey everyone, I hope this is to your liking, not what I had planned originally but there you go. If you recall in the books the dragons have different colored flames so I used them. Did I make the dragons too smart? There seems to be some ambiguity regarding their intelligence. Some compare them to dogs or dolphins, both of which are smart enough to employ group tactics, do you agree? I have some ideas for the future so I hope I shall be able to avoid rambling. Till then please pray for several missing girls who have been in the news and all who need it. May Jesus bless you.
