The following Characters are owned by Ken Penders(King Gong, Dark Legion, and Lien-Da(referenced)), Ian Flynn(Relic Pika, Jacques D'coolette, Belle D'coolette(Also Tracey Yardley for the siblings), Shinobi Clan), Michael Gallagher(Barby Koala) and Frank Storm(Monkey "Ken" Khan, Lau Khan, Li Yuen). Also I think the four clans are owned by all of these people one way or another. If I'm wrong on any of them, please correct me.

Chapter 6: Time to fight!

Ken couldn't help a growing feeling of anxiety as he gazed over a wall of weapons in a large room of gray brick, a single dimming light bulb being his only source of light. The chanting for Gong outside the room didn't exactly do much to help the feeling either. Heck, Ken never wanted or imagined any of this when he came to the Dragon Kingdom. His only real goal was to broker a deal of peace so that everything could go back to the way it was for both himself and Gong. But the plan had completely backfired. For a ruler to a nation, the guy was freaking nuts. In his mind, Ken was a threat to his rule simply for existing. But so what? It wasn't like there weren't any other mobians who were monkeys. In the Dragon Kingdom. Right? Just because he never saw any didn't mean anything. It could've very easily been a coincidence no matter how much those people out there believed him to be the last descendant of the line of Khan.

But Gong knew. The gorilla king tried to have him killed over it. Which now that Ken had a little time to think about it, should have made it obvious that negotiation wasn't about to be an option. Despite his better intentions to not give the family that gave up more than he could ever want for him a chance to not live a life on the run, Gong had no family. It had been taken from him by his grandfather. With that logic and an upbringing like his, Gong didn't necessarily have any reason to care about that. It worse, it would probably encourage further cruelty. A new desperation to destroy his family and take from Ken what had been taken from him. But Ken wouldn't let that happen. Not any of it. He came here to guarantee their safety, and if he had to beat this gorilla down a peg to make it happen, then so be it. He only prayed that Relic, wherever she was, would be okay before and after he was done.

With a newfound determination Ken made a grab for a bo-staff, one of silver steel and turned towards the long hallway leading out to the arena, the chanting growing louder as he stepped towards the exit.

Gong roared for the audience, lifting his shield and mace into the air as the crowds of supporters in the audience cheered for him. Well, crowds or people who were too afraid to show any public form of disrespect towards him. Either way, Gong accepted and reveled in their praise. Their respect. Their fear. It meant his place on the throne was secure. It also meant that these sheep would continue to serve him even after slaughtering their prior prince like a pig before their eyes. Two generations of Khan had already died at his hands and the people served him then. What difference would another generation make? So long as the line of Khan would finally be ended, he would consider today a great victory. And if anyone decided to show disrespect after, he would do as he always did and make a slow and public example of them.

The gorilla would smirk in confidence as boos began to follow, no doubt due to the bastards entrance into the arena. Gong turned himself then towards the determined chimp wielding the metal bo staff. The gorilla bellowed in laughter for a moment. Here he was armed to the teeth with weapons made to maim and obliterate, and this small boy came to fight him with a stick? His smirk became more confident. Perhaps this fight would be easier than he thought. Not that he believed the child had a chance to best him to begin with. Ken practically signed his own death warrant as far as he was concerned.

As Ken stopped a good distance away from Gong, the gorilla spoke: "Did the pretenders to your parentage not teach you the ways of practicality, insect?"

"They taught me more than a thing or two. They also taught me the ways of peace." Ken would stance with his staff low. "Something you clearly can't comprehend."

"Peace?" Gong scoffed. "Peace and compassion are for cowards and servants. Only the ruthless have the right to rule."

Ken narrowed his eyes. "We gonna keep talking or can I educate you in humility?"

Gong growled, his demeanor now one of rage as he roared and charged at the monkey with lightning speed. Though initially startled, Ken would quickly regain his composure and flip himself over the gorilla, smacking him at the side of the face with his bo staff midair. Gong was temporarily stunned, leaving himself open to a rapid succession of bo-staff attacks from the monkey. Ken started with an uppercut with the weapon, then a smack to the forehead, then a sweep under his feet, tripping the large gorilla onto his back. Though dazed, the gorilla managed to raise his shield in time to keep Ken from smacking him in the face again before swinging his mace at the monkey, knocking him back harshly and with enough force to send him sliding. Ken would use the momentum to roll backwards to his feet, using said appendages and the staff to slow his motion as Gong rose quickly and came charging again.

Ken ignored the pain in his side, a result from the wound made by Gong's mace, and rolled under his feet as he slammed the shield down towards him. Ken rolled quickly to his feet, blocking the spinning mace swing with his bo-staff, only to take a smack to the side of the head with Gong's shield, knocking him down. Seeing the stomp coming from a mile away, Ken would roll quickly to the side and swipe a kick across his face. Ken would try to follow this up with another bo-staff swing to the side of his face, only for it to clash with Gong's shield. Ken would next be met with a mace uppercut to the chin, knocking him back. Blood trickled down his chin as he rolled to his feet just in time to grab Gong's shield with both hands, gripping it tight and tossing it away out of his surprised uncle's grasp.

"How-?" was all Gong could get out before Ken delivered two swift punches, then another to his abdomen, denting his armor and causing him to skid back a little. Gong growled and armed his mace in both hands, realizing this threat may be tougher than initially anticipated.

Ken would slide his foot under the nearby bo-staff, kicking it up into a lowered palm as he approached the charging Gong. Ken would sidestep another mace swing, elbowing him and smacking him with the bo-staff in harsh and rapid succession. The force from both actions would send Gong face-first into a knee, knocking him back up to his feet and into a punch in the nose from Ken. Gong would shout as his nose snapped, blood trickling from the nostril as Ken smacked him across the face with the bo-staff with enough force to send his helmet flying and knock him to the ground. The crowd gasped at the sight as Ken glared down at his uncle.

"Yield!"

In retaliation, Gong swung his mace at Ken's bo-staff, slashing it in half. "NEVER!"

Ken gazed at his weapon a moment before smirking up at Gong. "Thank you."

"For what-?" Gong would growl before Ken smacked him rapidly with the metal halves, causing him to drop his mace.

Ken would deliver a series of rapid attacks from swings, to uppercuts, to upper head attacks, and a couple more to his already broken nose for good measure. Attacks that the king would eventually grow tired of. As amusing as this fight had been to him, he couldn't risk anymore cheers or support for the monkey. Never again would Gong surrender or be made a slave. Least of all to a filthy Khan. The gorilla gripped Ken by the hands for his next two swings, lifting him up by the hands with a glare. "THIS ENDS NOW!" Gong would squeeze on both of the monkeys hands, earning a scream as they both shattered in his hands. Gong would toss Ken ruthlessly to the ground and begin pounding on him with both arms separately in rapid succession before bringing both down with a roar that echoes across the arena and with enough force to scatter the sand around them.

Ken's entire body ached from the ambush of attacks, everything feeling broken or so bruised it would hurt to move. Meanwhile, Gong would snap his nose back into place and approach the mace he had dropped, lifting it in his hand and approaching the bloodied and weak monkey. "I'll admit, you've given me quite the challenge. But your theatrics, as well as your life, ends here."

Gong would raise his mace above his head, spotting a series of darts shooting towards him just in time to deflect two as the rest would either deflect off of his armor or hit him in the neck. Immediately after this, a small clan of Shinobi would drop into the arena, rushing towards the king and doing anything between shooting darts and tossing spinning stars his way as two other hooded figure rushed towards the limp but still conscious Ken, grabbing onto his shoulders and lifting him to his feet. Ken screamed in pain as a result, the damage from earlier very much still in effect on his nerves.

"Sorry!" A female voice would apologize before shouting into a walkie talkie. "Everyone, we have him! To my position and be ready to fall back!"

Ken would see Gong collapse to his fists and a knee, roaring for any nearby reinforcements to attack as the Shinobi rushed to him, then the figures pulling him over to a nearby manhole, yanked with ease by the other character and tossed at the reinforcements. Ken would feel an enormous surge of pain yet again as he was lowered into the sewers and dropped into the arms of a purple chameleon who shouted for everyone to hurry as he dashed further into the putrid smelling tunnels. The pain would eventually become too much for the monkey to bear as his sight faded to black, his last sight being the chameleon and the overhead lights.

Really really sorry for how late this chapter is! Life kinda got in the way again. But the story isn't over yet and I'll try to have the next chapter out soon! May the Lord Jesus Christ bless, protect, and watch over you all with happiness, good tidings, good health, and that you would all come to repent of any sinful lifestyles you've been living and come to know and love Him as your Lord and Savior if you haven't already. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
