Chapter 2 the battlefield awaits, another day for mercenaries
At a base owned by Agnus kingdom, the soldiers along with researchers are seen studying one of the downed that they were able to put down or steal from the enemy while trying to figure out how it works, there commander Cammuravi who is with them is still surprised by these machines and what they are capable of not only that he learns that both his home kingdom and their enemy kingdom are both being attacked by these unknown enemies.
Agnus soldier: sir!
Cammuravi: how is the research into the unknown machine?
Agnus soldier: it's an interesting piece of technology and it appears it might be able to go to toe with our own technology.
Cammuravi: ? What made you think that?
Agnus soldier: well our researchers said that the technology is very advanced and the enemy's forces seems to use similar machines but are different from each however they are all the same machine, focusing on the core theory.
Cammuravi: Core theory? What does that mean?
Agnus soldier: I think it means the pilots can somehow customize there machines to the fighting style they want.
Cammuravi: interesting… continue to gather more data I have a feeling that Keves will gain the technology as well.
Agnus soldier: yes sir!
The scene soon changes to Shinck and his team as they gather more Intel on the war, their next job and most importantly the history of Aionios.
Church: alright guys I have done my research into the history of this planet.
Shinck: you have?
Fatman: well go ahead, tell us what you've found Church.
Church: okay then. According to the information on this planet's history both Keves and Agnus were once at war years back but they then had a war again a year later.
Shinck: wait they had wars years back?
Church: yeah they did there history is similar to earth's.
Shinck: oh.
Church: but that's not all the past war took place during the 2nd independent war and still continue on until it finally ended.
Fatman: huh. now that is interesting piece of history, but why are they fighting against each other again?
Church: that in question is something I don't even know the Queens of there nations were allies back then until they suddenly became enemies of each other for no reason.
Shinck: so no one really knows what is going on not even the soldiers.
Church: yup not even them or the cities either, all of them are wondering what caused there Queens to suddenly change.
The three remain silent for a few minutes as they try to grasp what is going on but they had a job to do as a request from Arqubus wants them to attack an Agnus supply line, seeing this as opportunity to get his mind off things Shinck boards his A.C that he now named Azure Zero which he painted blue along with some white added to it, Fatman then tells them they are near the mission area then he drops the A.C, beginning the mission.
(Armored Core Verdict Day – demolition)
A.C: Main System Activiting Combat mode.
Fatman: commence mission. Take out the supply lines that is being sent to Agnus's army.
Shinck: understood.
Church: this will be a piece of cake we also earn some cash for how many targets we take out.
Shinck nodded to that as he begins taking out the soldiers of Agnus along with the supplies that they have, which they are trying to send to there main army.
Agnus soldier: oh no… it those invaders!
Agnus soldier 2: hurry we have to get these supplies to our main forces before-
However the soldiers would each be taken out by Shinck as his A.C blasts them to bits with his missiles, all the soldiers tries to escape but Shinck made sure none of them are going back alive.
Agnus soldier: curse… you… monsters…
Fatman: that's all of them. Mission accomplished I'll come by to pick you up kid.
Church: that was sort of easy, I wonder how powerful there main forces are.
Fatman: that's a good question, there's possibly a chance that the corporations might be planning on taking out both of the army's at the same time.
Shinck: there's big chance those guys will without a doubt be a big blow to both kingdoms… but I can't help but feel that something terrible is going to happen once that operation starts.

Shinck boards the transporter and leaves the area as the mission was a success, meanwhile at a different, an A.C is destroyed and it's pilot killed by a black A.C, inside its cockpit was it's pilot who is breathing heavily once this person removed there pilot it is revealed to be Blake but she looked like she is having a hard time of her life as she can only think of one thing.
Blake: cursed Mercenaries, I'll never forget what you done to my life and everything you all took from me …
Anger is seen in Blake's eyes as she still remembers what happened in the Coral war and is now haunted by the dead souls of her team mates.
Then everything fades to black.
End Chapter 2 the battlefield awaits, another day for mercenaries
Another Chapter done. The kingdom of Agnus soldiers are studying and trying to learn about A.C technology, Shinck and his group learn more about Aionios and it's history but they still don't know why the two Kingdoms are fighting against each other, finally Blake is seen on the battlefield once again and is haunted by the souls of her team mates. Now about Church you can say he is similar to the one from RvB but he's a Coral being just like Ayre herself meaning he is one of her siblings, additionally Coral technology and ALLMIND technology is strictly forbidden however it is very difficult for government to keep things like this under control because this technology can still be found in black markets.
