Chapter five

Later that day, Harry sent a coded message to the others asking them to meet him in the Chamber of Secrets. he waited in the Chamber with Ron as the others came in.

"Harry, what's going on?" Ginny asked, eying her brother. Harry grinned.

"Lancelot has returned" he said, slapping Ron on the back. Draco and Hermione exchanged glances. Draco was slightly worried about what this could mean for his relationship with Hermione. he had of course forgiven her all those years ago, but that didn't erase the hurt that he had felt when she had kissed Lancelot. then Lance was dead and Gwen was banished. he had had to let go of a lot of anger and hurt in order to trust her again and marry her. Hermione on her part, still felt terrible about the what she had done to Arthur, playing with both men's affections. it rattled her to know that Ron remembered their past life so he must remember their romance as well. Ginny was happy but at the same time she knew that she had to come forward with what she had done in order for the three important people in her life to move past what happened so long ago. She locked eyes with Harry and he gave a small nod so she walked forward, took his hand and took a deep breath.

"Before anyone says anything that they might regret, I have something to say" she said. They all turned to look at her. she sighed. "you all know that Uther's hatred for magic drove me into my sister's arms and I became as wicked and evil as she was. you also know that i tried my hardest to keep Guinevere from becoming Queen" Hermione and Draco nodded at this as this was something that was common knowledge. "What you don't know is the lengths I went to prevent her from becoming Queen. I did something so horrible that it makes me as bad as Voldemort" a tear slid down her cheek. "I practiced Necromancy in order to bring a man back to life that I knew Gwen had once had feelings for. but he was just a shell, a shade. he had no soul, he only existed to do my bidding which was giving Gwen an enchanted bracelet with a love spell on it so she would fall in love with him again" Draco and Hermione gasped. Ginny nodded. "Gwen never cheated on Arthur, she was bewitched and Lancelot never betrayed Arthur because it was never him in the first place" by the end of her story, Ginny was sobbing. Hermione wrapped her arms around the younger girl and so did Ron.

"Shhh" Hermione whispered. "We forgive you" Hermione felt Draco take her by the hand.

"Can you forgive me?" He asked. "For ever doubting you" Hermione smiled.

"I love you" she said. "Of course I forgive you"

Meanwhile, Snape had been talking to Dumbledore, who could not come up with a reasonable explanation for how the Black wards just sprung up. he had suggested that perhaps Draco wanted out and did it to protect his mother. Snape was positive that that wasn't the case as Draco had been thrilled to be marked over the summer and given a special task assigned just to him. Voldemort was unhappy that Snape was unable to provide him with the reason for the Black Wards and as such subjected Snape to the Cruciatius curse. He was very frustrated as he had Bellatrix watching the manor, but it seemed as though Narcissa was content to stay in the safety of the manor.

"Bellatrix, we are going to up the time table. Draco had better have the cabinet ready, for we attack tomorrow night"

Harry awoke with a start wide eyed and sent out an alert to everyone, The DA and his friends. Everyone met in the room of requirement after sneaking out of the dorms since it was late at night. Draco was hiding in the shadows as they were not prepared to reveal him at the moment.

"Ok, listen up. Many of you may know that I sometimes receive visions from Voldemort (here a few people screamed), well I received one tonight. He is going to attack tomorrow" many of the students gasped. "We are going to set a trap for him. Now, as we know, someone let slip last year that we were meeting in secret, so to prevent any more secrets from being spilled I have placed a spell on this room with the help of Hermione, to prevent anyone mentioning this to anyone outside of this room. It is imperative that Voldemort doesn't find out that we know he is coming. I am separating you guys into groups. Ginny, Hermione and Ron will head up each group. you will receive Weasley's wizard wheezes, a rough map of the school and a detailed battle plan for your group. I expect him to attack some time after all students are in bed, so as the heir of Godric Gryffindor, I have the ability to lock down the common rooms. Slytherin will be locked down immediately at 7:00, the others I will lock down once the DA members leave the dorms. We will end Voldemort's tyranny once and for all"

The students cheered, received their assignments and went back to bed. After everyone but Ginny, Hermione, Ron and Harry had left, Draco and Blaise came out of hiding.

"There is something I must do before Voldemort arrives" Harry replied, "I won't be gone long" he was surrounded by smoke and suddenly standing there was Merlin as an old man, how he looked before becoming Harry Potter. "If I am seen, it can not be as Harry Potter" he told them before vanishing. Harry went into the woods and called Adalina. she and her family swooped before him.

"Its happening tomorrow" he told them. "I need a ride to the Ministry of Magic, and I will need some help tomorrow as well" he produced the sword of Gryffindor and Adalina breathed on it. Now he would feel better about Hermione and Draco as they both had weapons that should be able to kill or seriously harm Voldemort.
