After Mark Collins' mind games during "Extinction" and "More Extinction", Paige begins keeping a journal to take note of the sometimes strange and unexpected ways Walter shows his love and devotion to her.

A watery grin began to grow on his face,"I thought at first I regretted us trying because of everything I've lost, you, Ralph, and Scorpion. But, the more I thought about it the more I realized that I was wrong. We took a risk and yes I'm still wholly wrecked from it but, I wouldn't trade the time we were together for anything."

"Walter, I've had to be strong for so long. First, for my dad when my mother left and then for Ralph when Drew left. I realized that if you left, I don't know that I would be strong enough for that. So, I left first before you could realize how bored you would become with me. But Walt, I love you."

Walter has decided to turn his back on Scorpion and America , but decides to make one more bid for a job , his swan song .

Set sometime between Paige/Tim breakup, but pre-Happy/Toby wedding. Paige is afraid to ask Walter something.

Have taken the Walter character from devastated when the team walked out on him, to isolated by Collins to respected by the scientific community to wealthy to married to having a child. He has a whole new life and is making the most of it. He does not NEED them anymore as he HAS grown up.

The year is 2034, Scorpion has grown and evolved. Paige and Walter return home late one rainy night after finishing a big job for the Japanese government, looking forward to nothing more than sleeping in their own bed. Unfortunately, sleep begins to feel like a distant dream when they discover that a leak in the ceiling has made quite a mess of their bedroom.

AU - 195 What becomes of a genius child who is raised by emotionally distant parents & is further ostracized by them when his good work is perverted into a weapon of war & destruction? Can the love of his sister keep him on a path of noble intent or does he become a nightmare from which some wish they could awaken? If he becomes that nightmare, what can bring him back to reality?
