"'... And if it eases you any bit, then I won't discuss him in front of you or with anyone else. Not unless you want me to.'"

I stared at her, amazed. My siblings and I took care not to let outsiders know about the Todoroki family dynamic. Information like this would catch the media's attention and it would lead to more strained relations within the family and with others. But Hanada-chan figured it out immediately. Once again, she's proved that she's clever. Very clever. Very intuitive. More importantly, she respected the fact that I didn't want to talk about Endeavor. She could benefit so much from revealing such details to the public, but she wouldn't. I guess for being so secretive herself, she knows how to keep other people's secrets.

I didn't know what else to say besides a thank you. And I didn't know what else to do besides look away and sort my emotions.

I am beginning to feel in control of myself when Present-Mic-sensei enters the classroom. The First Period is English class. But things are uneventful from the First Period to Lunch. Just normal lessons for the required subjects. It's only during Lunch that things start to get interesting.

For example, I can't see Hanada-chan anywhere.

Since she's the only person I have befriended, I choose to sit with her in the cafeteria. It's crowded and amongst a horde of students wearing identical uniforms, it's nigh impossible to find her. I still look for her despite that fact. But I can't find her anywhere. I know for sure she came to the cafeteria to get her lunch, but now she's disappeared. I consider calling her, but I realize I don't even have her number. You're so well prepared for every situation, but you forget to ask a friend for her phone number. Good job, Shouto.

I give up searching for her and instead search for an empty table. No such luck. Of course, there wouldn't be an empty table. The cafeteria is just as crowded as the party last night.

The party ...

It hits me. Hanada-chan's agoraphobia. She must have left the cafeteria once she got her meal so she wouldn't have to stay longer than necessary. Most likely, she's found a secluded area to eat. I think of all the secluded areas there might be in the school during lunchtime. The first one that comes to mind is outside by the koi fish pools. I'm about to head there when I glance at the cafeteria clock. I only have 15 minutes left to eat.

I debate between finding her and eating my lunch. If I go to find her, I won't have time to eat. And it's not certain that she will be at the pools. But if I eat, I won't know where she went. Ultimately, I choose to eat. I can ask her where she went when class starts again. With this thought in mind, I head back to class and eat in peace there.

15 minutes later, Lunch ends and the kids start coming back. Oddly, Hanada-chan is one of the last ones to arrive. As she sits down, I open my mouth to ask her where she was. But before I can, a familiar voice booms out from just outside the classroom door.

"IT'S ME!"

The voice is coming from All Might.

All Might!
