Ch 73 Trial of the Black Sakura Pt 1
Harry giggled as Kali continued to pet him. At first, he thought that Kali was terrifying like how they portray her in Mythology. However, after spending time with her he discovered that she was a loving Person underneath the Wild and Craze persona.
"Child, do you require something to eat? Or a drink perhaps?" Kali asked the young Heir of Chaldea.
"Um, no thank you. I'm good." Harry replied, smiling at the Goddess.
"Fou, Fou," The Beast barks, still sitting on the young Boy's lap.
"Ano…M-Mo-er Kali, d-do you mind?" Jinako was placed next to Ganesha's Mother, having been forced by the others to let her pet her. "Ugh, why did you guys have to put me here."
Kintoki Rider stood next to the Goddess, watching the two interact. "Listen, you're technically the Host of Kali's Son. So take this as a Golden opportunity to experience Parental Love," The Heavenly King stated,
"Plus, we don't want her to go Berserk again," Takeru said, joining Kintoki on that standpoint. "I don't think the Keep Section could handle any more of Kali's rampage…" They motion to the destroyed Shelves and desks everywhere.
The blonde Rider chuckles, crossing his arms at the situation. "At least all the Staff weren't here. If they were here, then it'd be a mess," Kintoki said, relieved to see everyone made it out in time. "Speaking of which, where are they?"
"They went to the Safe Zone as the BB Protocols were issued," Altera informed the Rider, hearing it before they arrived.
"Um, Kali, can you let me go? My legs are falling asleep." Harry looks up at the Divine Spirit, feeling a tingling in his legs.
Kali nodded and released Harry, feeling he was fidgeting. Kintoki approaches the young master, smiling down at him. "Well, Little Boss feeling a bit tired aren't ya after the ordeal?" The Rider asked the young master.
"Y-Yeah, at least Kali is going to help us now," Harry said, looking at the Goddess now turning to Jinako who merely whimpers at the sudden movement of Ganesha's Mother.
"W-Woah, woah, hold it! I'm not Ganesha Kali, I just have his Authority!" The brunette Moon Cancer exclaims,
"Hmm…why don't you like it, Ganesha? This is great!" Rogue Pretender said, being coddled by the Alter Ego's many arms.
The Alter Ego frowns at her 'Son', replying to her statement. "Nonsense, despite being a Pseudo-Servant, I still see you as my Child Ganesha," Kali said, still stubbornly insistence on calling Jinako her Child.
"Ugh…" Jinako groans, being pampered by the Alter Ego.
Rogue Pretender merely smiles, enjoying the head pats from the Goddess. "
Fou blinks at the complicated relationship between the two Divine Spirits. "Fou, Fou,"
Harry smiled at his little Friend, understanding what he was trying to say. "Yeah, I get what you're trying to say, Fou." He said, "For Divine Spirits, they're rather normal,"
Kintoki chuckles, ruffling the young Boy's head. "Yeah, you're right there Little Boss. Chaldea is not only a place to protect Humanity. But also brings out Humanity, even to machines like Servants." The Rider stated, "Ah, right forgot to introduce myself."
The Golden Rider places his thumb on his chest, smirking at the Heir of Chaldea. "The Names, Kintoki. Sakata Kintoki, a Rider." The Heavenly King stated, "I'm one of Boss Raikou's Four Heavenly Kings and the Golden Rider that strives through the Night!"
"I heard about you from Dad, Mr. Kintoki. You were one of the strongest out of the Heavenly Kings and you led the charge against the Oni on Mt Ooe in the Heian Period." Harry said, remembering clearly his Father's lesson on the Heavenly Kings.
"Heh, seems Boss really having you study all sorts of things." Kintoki blushed, scratching his cheeks. "Man, it's kinda embarrassing. Also, I just want to say, sorry I wasn't there when you had to face Ushi Gozen, Little Boss." He apologizes,
Kintoki looks away, feeling like he should've done something. 'Man, if I was in the Build Section before, then Ushi Gozen will settle down." The Rider said, wishing things were different. "Then you don't have to face someone scary like her. But by how things are looking now, it seems you two talked."
Harry nodded, responding to the statement. "Yeah, after that whole ordeal, we've understood each other now." He said, knowing Ushi Gozen is watching over him from now on.
"That's good to hear," Altera piqued in, "It shows how brave you are when facing a powerful Opponent. Apologies, I haven't introduced myself yet." The Scourge of Gods said,
"I am Altera the Hun or in History Attila the Hun. I serve your Father faithfully and by extension you." Altera said, clearly on the Succession Faction in Chaldea. Altera is known for her Loyalty to Ritsuka, allowing her to live however she likes in Chaldea.
Harry blinks, a bit surprised that Altera the Hun is a Female. "You're Attila the Hun? The Overlord that established a great Empire in the Fifth Century and conquered Western Asia to Russia, and Eastern Europe? That Attila the Hun?" He asked, not expecting a famous Conqueror to be a Woman.
If he's being honest with himself, he should've expected something would bond to happen. Considering he met some Heroic Spirits said to be Male in History,
"Yes, you have the basic Historical information about me, young master," Altera said, closing her eyes. "And yet, you don't know much as well. Shall I divulge to you the Hidden History of my tale?" She asked, wondering if he wanted to know more.
"Sure, I don-"
"Hey, Altera, maybe save that for later?" Nero asked, stepping into the conversation. "Umu, I believe the young Prince needs a little more…um, background before the whole White Titian bit." The Roman Emperor said, feeling like Harry would be confused without any input from the Machine Gods.
Altera flinched, realizing that the young master hadn't come across the Olympians. "Agree, please excuse my withdrawal, young master. The information I currently possess is something you haven't learned yet." The Saber said, smiling softly at him. "But don't worry, you'll learn soon, young master."
"Alright, if you say so," Harry replied, continuing to talk to the others. "Before that, does this thing you guys wanted to save for later involves the Olympians being Spaceships, right?" He asked, causing everyone to be surprised.
"Huh, I guess Boss did tell you about some things." Kintoki Rider said, smirking at him. "Anyways, I think the Olympians should share their experience with Altera." He nudges the Saber Servant.
While they talked, Ritsuka sat down and watched his Son interact with the Servants. "No matter how much I see it, your Servants are filled with surprises." Sirius walked up to his Son, receiving some rations from the Rani Ks around the Section.
The black-haired Magus looked at his Father, seeing he was offering a Bottle of Water to him. Ritsuka chuckles slightly, taking the Bottle from his hand. "Thanks, Otou-san." He said, drinking the Bottle.
"I don't know when since I had a Bottle of Water since coming to Seraphix," Ritsuka commented,
"I don't know how you do it, Ritsuka," Sirius said, looking at his Son. He looks at Kintoki and the others. "Sakata Kintoki, Kaidomaru of Ashigara; one of Raikou's Heavenly Kings and the one who slew the Oni Shuten Doji. First was Ushi Gozen and now Kaidomaru? Merlin, Ritsuka you really do know how to get around." He said, causing his Son to smile.
"I have my own fair share of Wild moments, especially when participating in the First Wizarding War." The shaggy-haired Wizard chuckles, remembering when he was younger and fighting against the Death Eaters.
"The Wizarding War? I'm still getting accustomed to Wizard History. That was a War between your group the Order of the Phoenix and Voldemort's Death Eaters." Ritsuka said, already briefed by everyone about the Events in the Wizarding World. "Lucius and Narcissa told me a bit about that War. That was around a few years ago."
Sirius chuckles once again, still getting used to the fact that his Cousin-in-Law and Cousin are working under his Son. "Still don't like it when you mention Lucius and Narcissa. I'm sure you know why, Ritsuka." He said, being open.
Ritsuka nodded, drinking his Bottle. "Both Lucius's Family was a Spy for the Mages Association being tied to the Wizarding World, Narcissa later joined after convincing her to join the Association." He said, explaining a bit about what the two told him.
"I guess I was so out of touch with my Family, that I didn't know Crissy walked away from the Black Family's views," Sirius said before realizing that Ritsuka doesn't even know his Family background. "Merlin, I was so caught up with finding you. You didn't know anything about your Heritage, Ritsuka."
"It's fine, Otou-san, from what you and Narcissa told me. Our Family is one of those traditional types," The Magus said, having experienced that within the Association. "I'm not a big fan of those. After all," Ritsuka looks at his Wife, approaching Harry with a Water Bottle in hand from one of the Rani Ks.
"Mashu isn't your typical Person, she's different and special." Ritsuka smiled, not sure if it was the right time to tell him about Mashu.
Sirius places his hand on his Son's shoulders. "You don't need to tell me anything. I don't like how my Family judges others based on Blood either. Only action can prove one's worth." The shaggy-haired Wizard said, "But for you…well, I think it's the opposite when you have Ushi Gozen and Ashyia Douman, two of History's greatest Villains serving you. I think they saw something in you that made them follow you."
Ritsuka chuckles, "Many say it's my charm, nicknaming it my Harem EX Skill." The two chuckles, understanding the joke. "But, I prefer to think they join me because I stuck to my beliefs and that I would do the right thing. Most find it interesting and decided to follow my beliefs for a change."
"Yeah, seems my beliefs have passed down to you by Blood. But to a large extent." Sirius commented before looking at his Son, remembering something. His face was serious, wanting to know something. "Ritsuka, when fighting Ushi Gozen; she said something rather concerning to me."
"The Black Stain in my Soul, right?" Ritsuka asked, knowing that would come up when they mentioned Ushi Gozen. "Yeah, I'm aware of it."
Sirius promptly looks at his Son, worried for him about this Black Stain. "Ritsuka, what is the Black Stain and will it…"
"Kill me? No, it just made me into…something a bit less than Human." Ritsuka said, lifting his Command Seals. "If you're worried that I would die because of it then don't be. It's just a repercussion of using an unconventional Weapon multiple times; mainly Gods." He said, turning to his Father and smiling, not really caring about the stain.
"In all honestly, I just think of it as a scar on my Soul," Ritsuka said, explaining to his Father.
"A scar…"
Back with the group, Harry looked at his Father and Grandfather/Godfather. He turns to his Mother, curious about what they are talking about. "Mom, what are Uncle Sirius and Dad talking about?" He asked, looking at the former Demi-Servant.
Mashu turns to her Husband and Father-in-Law, smiling at the two. "They're just catching up a bit. I'm not sure if you know, Harry-kun; but your Uncle Sirius is-"
"Dad's Dad, right? I heard a lot of People say that he and Dad had a complicated relationship." Harry said, fully aware of the situation with his Father and Uncle/Grandfather. "They seem to be getting along well,"
"Umu, Mr. Black is probably the best Father I've seen. He's being open with the whole Chaldea thing too and wants to support Preator." Nero commented, happy to see her master having some Family to talk to. Not to say talking to them was a bad thing, it's more on the Familial side.
"Fou," The Beast of Comparison agrees with Nero, also wanting the best for Mashu and Ritsuka, and now, Harry.
Harry looks around, seeing things are settling down. He turns to his Mother, having some questions for her. "Mom, we've defeated the Alter Egos acting as Sentinels, but BB hasn't appeared yet." He asked, "Do we go after her?"
Mashu ponders on their current situation before answering her Son. "Now that Kali is calmed down, we can go after BB-san and end this Singularity." She said, seeing there wasn't anything else they could do here in the Keep Section.
"That seems plausible, there's nothing else to do here," Altera said, agreeing with Mashu on that note.
"Ugh, yes, can we get going? I prefer to get this Singularity done and over with." Edgar said, sounding annoyed,
Andersen walks up to them, agreeing with his fellow Nineteenth Century Author. "I concur, the longer we wait, the longer the Singularity will be." The Caster stated, looking around where everyone agreed.
"Andersen and Edgar are right," Ritsuka walks up to the group, "We're near the Central Command Room, and knowing BB she Is holed up in there with Hideyasu and the rest of Searphix's Staff." The Magus said, agreeing with the Servants.
Ritsuka turns to Muryan, having full domain over the Keep Section. "Muryan, can you make the gate to the Central Command Room appear close to where we are?" He asked the Alter Ego.
Muryan looks back at her master, stopping her from repairing her Domain. "Hmm? What do you think I am? A Sub-Bell-oh wait, I am." The Alter Ego jokes, snapping her finger to make the Gate appear right behind them.
"Y-You just made the Central Command Room's Gate appear with a snap of your fingers!" Harry exclaims, shocked at how easy it was to do that. "How did you do that!?" He asked.
"I am a Sub-Bell, a powerful type of Fairy equal to a True Ancestor." The Lord of Gloucester said, can't help but brag.
Sirius's eyes widen, hearing that the Alter Ego is a Fairy. "You're a Fairy? But Fairies are small tiny Creatures as for you…you're around the size of a Goblin!" He said, encountering a few Fairies a few times.
Muryan scoffs, not liking how she's compared to those less intelligent Fairies. "I do admit, those Fairies and I share some similarities and originated from the Planet." The Alter Ego stares at the Wizard. "But don't compare me to those of Proper Human History's Fairies. They devolved into almost an Insect state, at least there are a few who retain their intelligence hidden from Human eyes."
"Proper Human History Fairies?" Sirius asked, wondering what she meant by that.
"Forget it, all you need to know, Wizard. That I am a threat to your Kind." Muryan said, not paying any mind to what she said. "I am Muryan Kazuradrop, the Alter Ego of Affection. A Lostbelt Servant that is far from being your average Fae." She said, clearly offended by what Sirius said.
"Muryan," Ritsuka spoke,
Sirius felt like he hit a nerve with Muryan, "Okay, okay, (I walked into that one,)" He mumbles the last part.
Muryan calmed down, seeing it was a pitiful conversation. "No, just forget what I said. It's a pointless argument when there are other pressing matters." The Alter Ego said, already moving on with the issue. "In any case, go and be down with BB. I still have to repair my Section here." She said, going back to work.
The Wizard was even more confused with Muryan. But after a quick thought and a look from his Son, he moved on as well.
With that said and done, the group stood before the Gate. All were ready to face the Moon Cancer behind the Singularity.
Harry took in a deep breath and looked at the Gate. "Ready, Hars?" Ritsuka asked his Son.
The young Boy was about to answer when someone asked him as well. "Yes, are you ready Kouhai?~" A voice sang.
Harry and everyone turn to the side, seeing BB standing alongside them. "BB!"
Every Servant raised their Weapons at the Moon Cancer,
"Ugh, you," Edgar almost want to throw up at the sight of the AI.
BB looks at her fellow Moon Cancer, sharing the same disgusted expression. "The feelings neutral, Moon Cancer," The AI said,
"HAHAHAHA!" Kali didn't hesitate, she went in for the strike. She raises her Weapons at the AI, "Offer your Blood to me, BB! HAHAHAHA!"
BB simply moved aside from the Alter Ego's path, "Hmmm, seems like I let you have too much fun here, Kali." She raises her Baton, looking at the Divine Spirit. "However, I'm afraid you going Berserk on me will cause a bit more destruction. We can't have that now," She taps on the Digital ground, causing Shadows to appear.
Kali pulled her Weapons from the ground, turning to attempt another strike. "Whatever you're planning, it won't work…I will make sure of that…" She stated before being surrounded by BB's Shadows. "What is this?" She asked,
"Returning you back to Chaldea," BB said with a smile, "This place has its fair share of destruction already," She raised her hand, engulfing the Alter Ego.
"Kali!" Ritsuka called out to his Servant, knowing this move BB was doing.
Kali looks around, swiping her Weapons to get rid of the Shadows. "GAAAHHH!" She cried out in rage, frustrated by BB's Shadows.
However, they were engulfing her in a dome, slowly descending and returning her to Chaldea.
"Now that she's out of the way, I can-"
Coming from behind and interrupting her talk, Rogue Pretender raises her Stone Gauntlets and smashes where BB is standing.
However, she dodges the Attack, becoming open to Attacks. "Now, when she's up in the air!" Rogue Pretender said, prompting both Nero and Takeru to take her.
"You'll pay for returning Kali back to Chaldea, BB!" Takeru exclaims, raising their Blade at the Moon Cancer,
"Umu, on me Takeru!" Nero exclaims, her Sword raised and swinging at BB.
The two Sabers slashed at BB, however, she quickly dodged and was on the ground. "Nice try~" She sang, hearing some crackly of Electricity,
Kintoki Rider punches his fists together, grinning at the AI. "Yeah, come at us if you dare, BB." He said,
Joining the Rider were Jinako, Kama, Andersen, Muryan, Altera, and Edgar Allan Poe. Ritsuka steps forward with Mashu who is ready with her Shield.
"You should surrender BB, you're outnumbered as it is," Ritsuka warns his Servant,
BB merely smiles, pouting at her master. "Oh, Senpai, you should really put that serious face away. I'm determined to see this through," She said, ready to leap into them. "No matter how I go about it."
"Master, your orders?" Altera asked her master,
Ritsuka sighed, "Stop BB," He said as they all went into action,
BB smirks, rushing into the group of Servants, she dodges Kintoki Rider's punch, slides under Altera's slash, dodges Edgar's Raven Familiars, and deflects Kama's Arrows.
"Sei!" Mashu used her Boosters, raising her Shield at the AI. "W-Wha-" However, she was blocked by BB's Shadow before disappearing into Golden Dust.
"Where did she go?" Mashu asked, searching around for the Moon Cancer.
Andersen clicked his tongue, seeing BB had escaped once more. "Tch, so annoying." He said,
Everyone's eyes search for the Moon Cancer, even Sirius who was close to his Son. "She just disappeared, where did she even go?" The shaggy-haired Wizard said, still searching for her.
Ritsuka turns around, "Harry, come clos-Harry?" His eyes scan the entire area, searching for his Son. "Harry! Has anyone seen Harry?" He asked around,
"No, he was supposed to be with you and your Father, master," Takeru said, searching for the young master too.
"The young Prince wouldn't stray away, he knows better than to leave when there's danger around," Nero added, getting to know Harry through their time in Seraphix.
"First is BB and now the young master- hey, wait, where is the other Moon Cancer?" Kintoki Rider asked, finally noticing that he was gone as well,
Kama clicked her tongue, already deduced this was BB's doing. "Tch, this has BB written all over it." The Assassin said,
Rogue Pretender could sense her connection with Harry wasn't severed. In fact, he was close by, "My Contract with master is still in place," She turned to the Gate, sensing he was behind there. "He must be in the Central Command,"
Mashu walks over to her Husband, feeling concern for their Son. "Ritsuka…"
The black-haired Magus looked at his Wife, seeing her worry on her face. "I know, Mashu. I am worried for Harry too, but Fou and most likely Edgar are with him." Ritsuka said, anyone with Harry currently is a bit relieving. As long as Harry isn't alone somewhere then it'll be alright for the meantime.
"Ritsuka, what should we do?" Sirius asked his Son, also worried for Harry.
Ritsuka remained calm, not letting his worries get to him. "Alright, we're getting through the Gate. By now, BB made it impossible to open," He said, turning to the Gate. "Now, let's get going."
"Hai!"
Central Command Room
"Hmm…" Harry moans, unsure what happened. His body shifts, feeling something nudging and licking his cheek.
"Fou, Fou," Fou cried out, trying to wake the young Boy.
Harry fluttered his eyes, groaning as he sat up. "Fou, what happened?" He asked, lifting the Beast in his hands. He looks around, seeing he is in a rather large Computer Room,
On the Monitors were the Sections of Seraphix, from Grow to Build. "Are we in the Central Command Room?" Harry asked himself,
"Seems like it," The young Boy turns to the side, seeing Edgar standing beside him. "We're in the final Section of Seraphix. The origin of this Pseudo-Singularity." Edgar said, explaining to Harry.
The Moon Cancer has a disgusted expression on his face. "Ugh, she had to bring me here," Edgar said, "She must still have a vendetta over me or rather this Body."
The young Heir of Chaldea stood up, looking at the area for BB. However, she wasn't around to be seen. "If this is where BB is staying, then where is BB?"
(Insert ost BB Channel -FGO-)
"Oh, I'm closer than you think, Kouhai." BB's voice echoes throughout the room,
Coming with the voice were tremors, both Edgar and Harry were struggling to stand on their feet. "W-Where is this tremor coming from!?" Harry asked, surprised by the sudden tremor.
Emerging from the floor was a large hand, slamming onto the floor. Then another appeared, slamming into the floor to the right of them.
Edgar's face deflates, seeing BB emerge from the ground. "Oh, you got to be shitting me." He said, not believing what he saw before him.
"Fou…"
The three saw BB emerge from the floor, she grins down below at three. "Welcome to the final stage of the Singularity, Kouhai." The Moon Cancer said, now in her BBhotep form. "This will be your final test if you can handle yourself in a Singularity. Meeting Servants, facing powerful Foes, and encountering difficult situations,"
"This is what Senpai and Mashu experienced in the Singularities and Lostbelts." BB explains to the young master, "If you're determined to become the master of Chaldea, then prove it here by completing the Singularity I made just for you, Kouhai." She smiles, winking at Harry.
