Ali's Pit in Los Angeles
Summary: This is the opening segment for TDW's New Year's Eve Special event called "Ali's Pit" as there are 7 great matches, plus a very special Ali's Pit where the TDW Women's Champion will interview Triple H live via satellite, from Detroit, Michigan where he's at for an episode of WWE Monday Night Raw, other then that... we are live at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.

It was Monday December 31st, 2018 as it was a special edition of TDW where we go to the Staples Center where 18,834 fans were screaming, cheering, and going nuts while "Thunderstruck" by AC/DC was playing.
"We are live at the entertainment capital of the world, Los Angeles, Calfornia for Total Drama Wrestling's first ever New Year's Eve extravaganza, New Year's Revolution! Hello everyone! I am Mauro Ranallo with Jim Ross!" Mauro introduced himself.
"Thanks Mauro, we have a special Ali's Pit where for the first time ever... the TDW Women's Champion will have a special guest live via satellite in "The Game" Triple H." JR said to Mauro before reminding viewers of who Ali will be interviewing.
"Just announced also Ali Moonbeam will also be interviewing the number one contender for the TDW World Heavyweight Championship Mike Smith to see what his thoughts are going into this championship match." Mauro said before he cleared his throat and started to mention the action.
"After The Pit, we have our opening contest when Shawn Vogelson defends the TDW World TV Championship against José Burromuerto who is making his in ring debut tonight, then the Mahon Twins face off against Blaineley and Josee of the Popular Girls and where the winner goes to Road to Redemption and challenges Emma and Kitty Suzuki for the TDW Women's Tag Team championship!" Mauro mentioned before JR was next.
"The TDW Tag Team Champions, The Surfers and Bridgette Thompson will face off against The FSC and Heather Clarkson in a 6 person tag team match, including the TDW Women's Champion "Rowdy" Ali Moonbeam there she defends her championship for the first time against Jasmine Baxter in a Falls Count Anywhere match! Justin Morrison will square off against Chris McLean and the winner will challenge the TDW World TV Championship at Road to Redemption." JR said to Mauro.
"Then two former Women's Tag Team Champions Gwen Hart and Courtney Lopez get it on in a Street Fight and for finally... our main event... let's hear it, JR!" Mauro said to JR.
"Mauro in our main event it will be "The Gothic Nightmare" Ennui Wilson taking on Mike Smith for the TDW World Heavyweight Championship in a no disqualification match!" JR said.
"Right now, let's go to the ring for Ali's Pit!" Mauro said before "Green Hills of Tyrol" began to play as "Rowdy" Ali Moonbeam came out to loud cheers.
"Ladies and gentlemen... please welcome, the TDW Women's Champion... "Rowdy" Ali Moonbeam!" Justin Roberts announced.
"Here she ladies and gentlemen... the undefeated TDW Women's Champion currently 19 and 0 as she will defend the TDW Women's Championship against Jasmine Baxter she has been thinking about this match non-stop, training, working out, studying footage and more but in the past 10 days also... she has spend that time with her family celebrating the holidays." JR said while Ali walked down the entrance ramp, high-fived fans, took selfies with them, and hugged some kids at ringside before she entered the ring.
"How are you doing Los Angeles!" Ali shouted at the crowd who roared loudly in response.
"Ali! Ali! Ali!" The crowd chanted.
"Even in LA, she is the hottest thing." Mauro said.
"Yeah! That's right! TDW is live in Hollywood on New Year's Eve!" Ali said causing the crowd to roar loudly.
"Tonight is a special edition of the Pit because we have not one... but two special guests with us tonight." Ali said to the crowd who roared loudly.
"We have Mike Smith and after that we have "The Game" Triple H live... from Detroit, Michigan via satellite." Ali said to the crowd who once again cheered.
"Now, before we get to business I want to get some stuff off my mind briefly... ever since I began my wrestling career, ever since I've ended Brock Lesnar's career, and I've ever since I've become the TDW Women's Champion... a lot of things are happenin' to me, I'm getting offers to host Saturday Night Live, I am getting offers to be on talk shows like The Tonight Show, Jimmy Kimmel Live, The Late Show, Conan, Late Night with Seth Meyers, and so many others... and it's incredible that I have become such a pop culture icon despite the fact that I'm not even with the biggest promotion in the world." Ali said causing the crowd to cheer loudly.
"My god! She's become a pop culture icon!" Mauro said to JR.
"I know, it's amazing that she's caught fire so quickly in the wrestling world." JR said before the cheering died down.
"Now, it's time for the first guest of the Pit... ladies and gentlemen... he is the number one contender for the Total Drama Wrestling World Heavyweight Championship... Mike Smith!" Ali said before "Demons" by Imagine Dragons played as Mike came out to cheers from the crowd while he walked down the entrance ramp and high fived a few fans before he entered the ring as the music stopped.
"Mike Smith, welcome to the pit!" Ali greeted and welcomed Mike.
"Thanks Ali, I'm ready for any question you throw at me." Mike said back.
"No problem, so my first question to you is... how did it feel to beat finally beat "El Diablo" Alejandro Burromuerto in order to become the number one contender for the TDW World Heavyweight title?" Ali asked Mike.
"Well, it felt very great because he has been a thorn on my side ever since we began feuding in Total Drama Wrestling, and tonight I am finally going to have the chance to become the TDW World Heavyweight Champion when I challenge Ennui." Mike answered Ali causing the crowd to cheer.
"Awesome, now my second question is what was that Handspring Cutter finisher that you did and what was that Inverted Phoenix Splash called?" Ali asked Mike.
"Well I call it Terminato, and as for the Phoenix Splash, I call it the Sicilian Splash because my family is Italian." Mike answered Ali.
"My third question for you is do you have anything special planned for tonight?" Ali asked Mike causing the crowd to cheer.
"Well to be honest I do but I am not going to spoil it." Mike answered Ali.
"My last question to you is this, what is your gameplan going into this no disqualification match?" Ali asked Mike.
"My plan is simple, to have a heart like the late Bruno Sammartino god rest his soul..." Mike answered before the crowd cheered loudly giving not only Mike a standing ovation but Bruno a standing ovation out of respect.
"Bruno! Bruno! Bruno!" The crowd chanted loudly before the chanting died down.
"As I was saying... my plan is to simply have a Bruno like heart, wrestle my friend and current TDW World Heavyweight champion "The Gothic Nightmare" Ennui Wilson and it will be a war in my attempt to finally become the TDW World Heavyweight Champion." Mike said as he finished his answer to Ali before the two shook hands.
"Thank you for coming onto the pit Mike." Ali said to Mike.
"Thanks for having me." Mike said back to her.
"Good luck tonight." Ali said to him in response.
"Thank you." Mike said before he left the ring.
"Give it up one more time for... Mike Smith!" Ali said while Mike made his way backstage.
"Now, the moment we've been waiting for... live from the Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan... live via satellite currently backstage he is a 14 time world champion, one of the co-founders of DX, and he is like family... ladies and gentlemen, "The Game" Triple H!" Ali introduced Hunter as the crowd roared while "The Game" by Motorhead began to play as the titantron showed Hunter sporting a suit as he was backstage at the Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan as the music stopped playing.
"First off Hunter I want to thank you for taking time out of your very busy schedule to do this." Ali said to Triple H.
"No problem Ali, I'm sorry that I couldn't be in LA, but it's business but how about this... when Total Drama Wrestling goes to Paris, France I'll be there in person." Triple H said to Ali causing the crowd to roar loudly.
"Oh mon dieu!" Mauro shouted "Oh my God!" in French as he was in shock.
"The Game comes to Paris France! Be ready!" JR said.
"That sounds awesome, but only if there are any good wrestlers in France." Ali said to Hunter.
"Alisabeth you never know besides, I have NXT scouts all over the world, finding the next superstar... now let's get this interview started please." Hunter said back to Ali.
"Okay, my first question is this... when myself, my older sister Emmeline and my parents came to the Compaq Center in Houston for Raw on September 30, 2002, how did you react when my dad told you that I was autistic?" Ali asked Hunter as this was going to be a personal version of Ali's Pit.
"Well, to be honest I was very surprised to find out that you were autistic, but even though Shawn Michaels and I weren't getting along on TV, he would explain it to me backstage and I would listen, that also explained why you were flapping your hands and twirling in a circle whenever you got excited." Hunter answered Ali.
"Yeah." Ali said back before going to the second question.
"My second question is, whenever I came down with either the flu or pneumonia, I had to spend either a few weeks or a month in a bubble; the first time was September 2000 when I had pneumonia, the second time was from November to December 2006 when I had the flu and the third was from March to April 2012 when I had my second bout of pneumonia... how did you help me through those times?" Ali said before she explained her medical history as she asked Hunter.
"Well, it was Survivor Series 2006... it was after Randy Orton called you a freak as Shawn, myself, your mom, dad, and Emmeline had to comfort you though Shawn did most of the comforting, and as for the first time you were in a bubble back in September 2000 for two weeks due to pneumonia, with permission from Vince I came over to San Antonio over the weekend and cradled you and gave you your medicine, and finally, for your third time in a bubble due to pneumonia from three days before WrestleMania XXVIII to all of April 2012, I helped you though that, we even took you to WrestleMania while you were recovering in your sterile environment, and unlike Survivor Series 2006, no one called you a freak.
"Yeah, although Randy Orton came close to calling me one again, but Shawn gave him a death glare which shut him up." Ali said causing the crowd to laugh while Hunter chuckled.
"Yeah he did." Hunter said back.
"So how did you go from being a snooty aristocrat to being the cerebral assassin?" Ali asked Triple H.
"Well after I changed my name which happened in the 1990's when I was still in DX, I was called the Cerebral Assassin by Jim Ross in January of 2000, by that point, the Connecticut Blueblood Gimmick was dead and buried as I was no longer known as Hunter Hearst Helmsley, I was known as Triple H, and I was also a two time WWF champion at the time." Hunter answered Ali while the crowd cheered.
"I remember that." JR said while the crowd cheered.
"Wow... anyway my next question is, when I had my sensory meltdown on Monday December 29, 2003 at the SBC Center in San Antonio, Texas; the night that my hatred for Eric Bischoff began, what was going through your mind?" Ali said and asked Hunter.
"Even though at the time I was the World Heavyweight Champion and I just married Stephanie, it was heartbreaking and even though I was a heel as well, I understood why you had that meltdown... but don't worry, you were not in control of that; it was a sensory overload and not a temper tantrum like your Aunt Suzie thought it was." Hunter answered and told Ali.
"Thanks, man... my second-to-last question is, what were your WCW days like?" Ali asked Hunter.
"I had one of the worst names of wrestling history, Terra Ryzing." Hunter answered Ali causing the crowd to laugh.
"Yeah and not to mention that they portrayed you as a wealthy, arrogant Frenchman by the name of Jean Paul Levesque, well, last time I checked, you were from the state of New Hampshire, not France." Ali said to Hunter.
"I know but my real name is Paul Levesque." Hunter said to Ali.
"I knew that, anyway my last question is how did it feel teaming up with my godfather Shawn Michaels?" Ali said before she asked Hunter her last question.
"It was awesome, allow me to explain." Hunter answered Ali before he began to explain.
"Me and Shawn have a complex rollercoaster ride of a friendship that's had it's ups and downs, he is a great guy, that I've learned a lot from, I've had his back and he's had mine and we always will." Hunter said to Ali.
"Yeah, the two of you even had funny moments together." Ali said to Hunter.
"Uh-huh, I remember when me and Shawn impersonated Vince and Shane McMahon." Hunter said to Ali.
"Me too, I was laughing my ass off." Ali said to Hunter
"Yeah." Hunter said to Ali.
"Okay, I think we're done here... I'll be seeing you in-person in a few weeks." Ali said to Hunter.
"Yeah, talk to you later thanks for the interview." Hunter said to Ali.
"Bye Hunter." Ali said before the camera was shut off on the titantron before the camera focused on Ali in the ring.
"Now then with that taken care of... I have to get ready to defend the TDW Women's Championship against Jasmine later tonight, so rock on and God bless!" Ali said before she gave the crowd the metal horns as the crowd roared as she left the ring as her theme played.
"What an interesting Ali's Pit that was tonight, JR!" Mauro said to JR.
"I agree Mauro, when we come back we have our opening contest which we have Shawn Vogelson defend the TDW World TV Championship against José Burromuerto so don't go away!" JR said in agreement before announcing what match will kick it off as the camera faded to black.
