Kraang Prime talks to Shedder through a projection, "Kraang must have your decision," Kraang Prime said.
"Once I find Karai, will you mutate her back to normal?" Shredder questioned.
"But in return, Shredder must help Kraang conquer the city known as New York City!" Kraang Prime said as New York was being invaded by the Kraang while Shredder and his goons watched the chaos.
"Footbots!" Robyn called as she, April, and Irma ran away from them.
"Who are these freaks, girls!" Irma yelled while once in the lair, she twitched before revealing herself as Kraang Subprime and portals appear around the lair.
"My best friend for the past year was a Kraang!?" April questioned as the Kraang and Foot attacked the lair while the Turtles, the O'Neil sisters fought them and Splinter fought Subprime.
"The discovery of your lair was the final component needed to launch full-scale invasion!" Subprime declared as Raph, Jenny, Casey, and Keno run away from a Kraang Walker.
"There's too many of them, boys!" Jenny exclaimed as they dodged the laser from a Kraang Stealthship.
"They seemed to be in a hurry." Olly said while looking at the Foot running on rooftops. "By why would they… Oh, no. Leo!" He called while Leo is fighting the Footbots on his own.
"Oh no," Leo said as Footbots aimed at him.
"Fire!" Shredder ordered as the Footbots launched arrows.
Kraang Prime then stood tall in the middle of the city. "The Kraang-forming of your world is about to begin!" He declared as he fired mutagen at the people.
"Now that is really messed up." Casey said as he, Keno, Jenny, and Raph looked in horror as the people became zombie Kraang-hybrid.
At the O'Neil's apartment, Mikey, Donnie, and the girls watch on the TV the magnitude of the invasion. "Invasion! That's right folks! The aliens are back!" Carlos exclaimed as the camera zoomed in on the screen of the Kraang marching up the street with Kraang Prime behind them while shooting mutagen around. "Robots are emerging from portals! UFOs are everywhere! A giant alien brain is stomping through the east village! As of now all bridges and tunnels are blocked-" He called before Kraang Prime launched mutagen at the cameraman and the screen came off.
The heroes had grim expressions on their faces, "Okay its official: we're doomed," Vee said in fright.
"This is all my fault." April said in guilt. "If I haven't brought Irma to the lair-"
"Sis, you can't blame yourself." Robyn said to her. "There's no use in faulting uncontrollable outcomes."
"Yeah, we can do that for you-" Mikey was cut off when Tal smacked him on the head.
"Too soon, Mikey," Tal said dully.
"We're gonna fix this." April said with determination. "We're gonna find the others."
"We'll search the whole city if we have to." Robyn added with the same expression.
"You can't go out there, girls!" Kirby said to his daughters while curled up on the couch. "You'll have to stay with me." He then buried his face, "I'm scared." He whimpered fearfully while the others gave him weird looks.
"Excellent parental strength, Mr. O'Neil." Naomi said with a brow before Mikey's T-Phone beeped as he picked it up.
"Whoa! Raph just send me a text." Mikey said with a smile as he read it. "On our way, being chased by Kraang Prime. Frowny face." He said with a frown as the others got even more worried.
"Huh. I guess they'll be a few minutes late." Ames said with a sheepish shrug.
"Ya think?" Donnie asked with a brow.
On the streets, Raph's group is running down the street pushing aside Kraang zombies as they scream when Kraang Prime comes up behind them. "You cannot run, Earthlings!" He called as he fired mutagen, but the others avoided it while a person hiding behind some dumpsters got hit and mutated while a Kraang Crystal tree grew. "Your entire planet will transform!" He called as he gave a laugh.
"Raph, Jenny, what the heck is happening here?!" Keno asked the two turtles.
"We went to Dimension X to rescue Leatherhead," Jenny called out. "And there, we learned the Kraang finally perfected the mutagen!"
"They wanted to turn Earth into another Dimension X!" Raph finished as they kept running.
"Wicked!" Casey commented.
"Wicked?!" The three shouted to Casey.
"Is that hockey mask on tight?!" Keno demanded as more mutagen shot down and hit some pigeons, transforming them into luring puffs of the Rocktapus.
The people who weren't mutated ran away screaming before Kraang Prime tossed some cars over at the heroes, who did their best to dodge them before one of them was about to crush them as they screamed, but they saw the car had landed on top of the others.
"Well, that was lucky." Jenny said as they got out of the car arch before they looked behind and saw Kraang Prime aiming his mutagen gun at them. "And I spoke too soon."
"Goodbye, lower lifeforms!" Kraang Prime sneered before a missile hit him from the side. "What?!" He yelled as he turned and saw military soldiers coming at him.
"Earth Protection Force, move," one soldier ordered. "Get into formation! Flanking maneuver! Go, go, go!" He yelled as some tanks moved down the streets and some soldiers exited them.
"Team 2, cover quad four! Hut, hut, hut!" Another soldier yelled as some soldiers aimed their blasters and got into positions on rooftops or ground level while some helicopters shined lights down on Kraang Prime.
"Pathetic humans!" Kraang Prime scoffed.
"Fire!" One of them yelled as they all opened fire on Kraang Prime, who yelled in pain from the attacks.
"Thank goodness, the Earth Protection Force is here!" Keno called.
"Come on! Now's our chance! Run!" Raph called as he, Jenny, and Keno ran off.
"But it was just getting awesome!" Casey complained before he followed the others.
"Just move It, Jones!" Keno ordered.
With Leo, he avoided the arrows raining down on him while moving backward and saw Shredder and his warriors watching him, "Stop hiding behind your Footbots! Face me, Shredder!" Leo ordered the armored ninja.
"You are beneath me, turtle." Shredder sneered as a chain grabbed Leo's arm and dragged him to the wall as a Footbot charged at him, but he threw one of his swords to its head before more swords poked through the wall as Leo tried to get free, but more Footbots charged through it, knocking Leo back.
Leo got his bearings before a Footbot kicked him in the face, but he retaliated as he punched it down and kicking it away before another tried to hit him, but he blocked it and punched it aside before one of them did a spin kick on him to the gut as he was pushed against the wall and stood up as he saw near the edge of cold water down at the construction area before looking around to see many Footbots surround him while Shredder and his warriors continued to observe from the roof.
"Let's just finish off this Drongo, Master," Koya said eagerly.
"Not yet. I want to see him suffer." Shredder said as Leo drew his remaining sword and charged straight through the Footbots with a yell.
In the sewers, Splinter searched for the Turtles while avoiding Kraang patrols as he saw some destroyed Kraang and Footbots on the ground before he saw a familiar dagger and picked it up. "Leonardo." He said before some Kraang came up behind him.
"It is the rodent called Splinter, exterminate! Exterminate!" A droid ordered as they all fired at him, Splinter hopped from wall to wall and tried avoiding them. They kept firing until something smashed off a bots head.
They looked behind and saw Leatherhead tower over them, "KRAANG!" He roared before he utterly destroyed them and proceeded to relentlessly punch at a Kraang.
"That is enough, enough!" Splinter shouted, which calmed Leatherhead down as he dropped the Kraang, and Splinter approached him, "Leatherhead, my thanks." He said graciously.
Leatherhead bowed his head, "Great Splinter, where are your children?" he asked in worry.
"Lost in this madness, will you help me find them?" Splinter asked hopefully.
"Anything for my friends," Leatherhead said in determination.
"Then let us hurry!" Splinter said as the two ran off.
Back in the construction area, Leo yelled in rage as he sliced another Footbot to the next before he jumped up the next platform and stabbed another bot straight to the chest before another came up behind him before he drew his hidden dagger from the handle to stab it and kicked it away as he took heavy breathes as he then noticed all the Footbots are down.
But while his guard was down, one still functioning Footbot grabbed his leg and pushed him down to freezing water below. After a few moments, Leo resurfaced on the floorboard above the water as he took heavy breaths and climbed up before laying on the floor as he was now freezing, tired, and battle-worn.
Leo then stood up and took a ready stance when he saw Shredder and his warriors above him, despite how exhausted he was and how chilly he was, he wasn't going down without a fight. "Finish him." Shredder said as his Mutant Warriors then charged at Leo.
One by one, each mutant knocked Leo down while punching or kicking him. Leo had it as his eyes went pure white in rage before he grabbed Fishface and knocked him away. He then got on top of Rahzar and pulled him by the ear as he roared in pain, but then Leo jumped on a pipe before doing a spin kick and knocked him down. Koya swooped down at Leo with her talons put but he grabbed them with both hands before pulling her in for a head butt and kicking her into a wall.
Leo roared with sheer willpower and spun on the ground to avoid a punch from Tigerclaw before he gave him a double kick that sent Tigerclaw flying and he fell to the ground before he caught Kitsune in an armlock before he kneed her in the stomach and gave her barrage of punches and uppercuts her down. Leo stood up as he took heavy breaths, but then Shredder appeared behind him when thunder clapped. Leo turned to him, but before he could react, Shredder delivered a mighty slash on Leo, causing the turtle to scream in pain as he finally collapsed to the ground as the Foot warriors circled the defeated turtle.
Kitsune kneeled down and checked Leo's pulse. "He's still alive. It is a feat in itself that he survived this long against such an overwhelming onslaught." She said in surprise and impressed by Leo's endurance.
"Then let us put him out of his misery," Tigerclaw suggested as he drew his blaster and charged it up, Koya readied her feather daggers, Rahzar raised his claws, Fishface spun out his balisword, Kitsune pulled out her hypno chain, and Shredder raised his blades again.
But just before any of them could strike, "Get away from my brother!" A voice called out as coming out of nowhere was Olly, who kicked Shredder hard as he fell down to the floorboard while the green-clad turtle grabbed Rahzar by his neck hair and tossed him at Tigerclaw, knocking the cat and dog mutant down.
"Olivier!" Shredder growled as he watched Olly fighting his warriors back as he grabbed Koya by the wings and pulled some feathers, which caused her to shriek in pain before Olly kicked her to the gut, which knocked her towards Fishface and Kitsune.
"Leo!" Olly called as he kneeled down to Leo. "Leo, speak to me! Please!" He pleaded as he checked his pulse, feeling that he was still breathing, but he was out cold while his shell had a large gash on it, "Hang on bro! I'm getting you out of here!" He said, hoisting Leo onto his back.
"You are going nowhere!" Shredder yelled as he drew his blades while his mutant warriors got their bearings and drew their weapons.
"Let's see if you can fight with deadmeat on your shell!" Fishface called while twirling his sword.
"Not today!" Olly called as he then threw a smoke bomb, which blinded them for a moment before they got their bearings and saw Olly and Leo were gone.
"Where'd they go?!" Rahzar questioned as Koya took to the skies and used her eyesight to search the area before looking down to see Olly running down the street while holding the unconscious Leo on his back.
"I got them! They're heading down the street!" Koya called out.
"He must be heading to regroup with the other Turtles," Tigerclaw guessed.
"Then follow him to the others, and destroy them!" Shredder ordered as the Foot Warriors jumped off Shredder climbed up from the construction area, but then he saw Splinter kneeling down to a Footbot with Leo's sword still on it before he turned and saw Shredder in front of him as thunder clashed.
"Where are my sons?" Splinter questioned slowly.
"My men take them like I took your child so many years ago." Shredder answered while giving a sinister laughter as Splinter clenched his fist and hissed at him as the two former brothers charged at each other with battle yells.
Back at the O'Neil's apartment, Kirby was lying down until water splashed over him and they saw him wake up.
"I just had the worst dream… The Kraang were trying to invade!" Kirby said in fear.
"Don't worry Mr O Neil. Reality is WAY worse than your nightmare." Mikey assured, which made Kirby panic more before Donnie slapped him on the head.
Then charging in were Jenny and the boys, "We better move! The Earth Protection Force is keeping Kraang Prime busy, but I don't know for how long." she said to them.
"Raph/Jenny!" Both Mikey and Ames cried as they hugged their respective siblings in relief.
"Aw, we missed you guys too." Raph said with a smile.
"Casey!" April cried as she hugged Casey. "I was scared I'd lost you forever!"
"No worries, Red. Your man is here." Casey assured her with a small smile.
Keno shared a fist-bump with Robyn and Donnie as they smiled at each other. The only one who wasn't smiling was Vee, "Guys, I hate to spoil this reunion but Leo and Olly are still missing," Vee said in worry, getting their attention.
"What?!" Raph asked in shock.
"It's a long story, my friend. Short version-" Naomi tried to say before something busted the door down, they turned and saw Olly carrying an injured Leo.
"Guys!" Olly said in exhaustion while taking deep breaths. "Leo! Need! Help!" He panted as he gently placed Leo down on the couch.
"Leo!" Vee cried out in horror while the others gasped as she, Naomi, and Mikey surrounded him as Leo groaned. "Oh, Leo!" She said with tears.
"He's still breathing. Barely." Naomi said in worry while inspecting the wounds before she pulled on Leo's shell to check further.
"Dudes, his shell is cracked!" Mikey cried while trying to hold back his tears.
"Olly, what happened out there?!" Tal asked in huge shock.
"Leo was fighting Shredder and the Foot all on his own! I only managed to rescue him before they could finish him off!" Olly quickly explained while looking down at Leo. "I could've gotten to him sooner, but with the Kraang attacking me from all sides, I couldn't get to him in time!"
"Wait, he was fighting the Foot?! Was Leo crazy to face them al-" Raph tried to ask before he reminded himself. "Oh, what am I saying? Of course, he would've!"
"I can help him, but he needs help now!" Naomi said in great concern before turning to Olly. "Olivier, were you followed?"
"I don't think so." Olly said before Tigerclaw spoke up.
"Come out turtles! We know you're in there!" Tigerclaw demanded as he and the foot were surrounding the whole building outside.
"Aw, sewer apples!" Olly cried in horror. "They followed me!"
"Oh this just keeps getting better by the second!" Raph complained as two Footbots jumped in and drew their weapons; Casey drew his stick and started to fight them, too.
"We can't stay here! Not with Leo like this!" Donnie exclaimed.
"Let's get out of here!" Olly called as He and Vee carried Leo before more Footbots poured in.
"This way!" April called as they led them to the exit, but then a Footbot appeared as Donnie threw his staff at it, stabbing it through the head as the heroes rushed toward the exit, but once outside, they saw Rahzar in front of them as he roared.
"THIS IS FOR MY BROTHER!" Mikey yelled as he threw a couch out the window and it landed on Rahzar as he, Casey, and Ames jumped down as Tigerclaw and Koya started firing at them, but as they ran, Donnie threw some smoke bombs at them, blinding them for the heroes to make their escape.
"Hurry! This way!" Kirby called as he led the way to a van with a peaceful groovy painting and a box trailer attached to the back.
"What the heck is that?" Raph questioned as he and the others looked at it weirdly.
"It's my Party Waggon and Trailer." Kirby said with a smile. "From back in my hipster days and the trailer for when the girls and I go camping together. Hehe, groovy." He said while giving a peace sign with his fingers before mutagen fell on him as he screamed in agony and his eyes glowed purple.
Behind Kirby was Kraang Prime, who gave a sinister laugh as Kirby mutated into a Kraang Zombie as the others backed away from him.
"Kirby!" Keno yelled out in horror.
"Not again!" April cried before Robyn grabbed her.
"Sis, move!" Robyn cried as she, Keno, Casey, and the four turtle brothers entered the Party Waggon while the Islander Turtles entered the trailer as Kraang Prime marched towards them.
"Floor it, Jones!" Raph called as Casey took the driver seat and pulled out the keys. Kirby pinned himself to the window as Casey started the engine.
As the Party Wagon drove off Kraang Prime started spraying mutagen, creating more Kraang Crystals in its path. The Party Waggon drove down an alley as Kraang Prime reached his leg in to grabbed them but missed and glared at them. "I'll get you all!" He vowed.
Back at the construction area, Splinter and Shredder were still fighting and the former was losing.
"You grow tired! Your skills have become weak!" Shredder mocked as Splinter tried to block his slashes. "Yet I am stronger than ever, fueled by anger! By rage!" He declared as he struck at him again, Splinter blocked this one and punched him back with both his hands making him grind on the ground.
Shredder looked at Splinter in shock, "Rage is a fuel that burns out quickly!" Splinter shot back.
"Always the wise one!" Shredder said as he took out some knives, Shredder threw them at Splinter who barely dodged them, this let Shredder deliver multiple strikes to him and he got thrown to the crane, this weakened the pipes on it and the rope snapped causing all of them to fall onto him.
Splinter groaned in pain as he was grabbed by the beard and had a blade by his face. "What wisdom do you have now?!" Shredder mocked, ready to pierce Splinter.
But then at the last second Leatherhead bursted right through the wall and pounced on Shredder. He bit down on Shredder's midsection, shook him around and slammed him against the grow before throwing him into a wall.
Leatherhead then went up to Splinter, "My friend, are you hurt?" Leatherhead asked as Splinter heard a blade.
"Look out!" Splinter shouted as Shredder jumped in the air.
Leatherhead roared in rage as Shredder was wrangling him down, Shredder started punching and kicking him from all sides, knocking him down as he drew his blades to finish him.
Splinter watched in horror as Shredder knocked Leatherhead back with ease and he finished the fight by kicking the Alligator mutant over the ledge which caused him to fall into the water.
Splinter screamed with pure rage as he burst through the pipes holding him down. Shreddee turned as Splinter glared at him while the pipes created a pathway for the rat. Splinter got onto all fours and charged at Shredder, knocking him over the edge while Splinter snapped his jaw at Shredder as they fell into the sewers.
Casey drove the Party Waggon to a clear spot to hide as the others exited the vehicle and trailer. "This looks like a safe spot." Casey said.
"Come on! We gotta find Splinter and Leatherhead!" Raph said as he exit the waggon while the others followed while the Islander turtles exited the trailer.
"No way! What about Leo?" Mikey asked in concern.
"He's too wounded to move." Naomi said to them.
"Leo can stay with us." Keno said to them. "Casey and I are going back to search for our families."
"Okay, but we meet back by this spot. And watch out, the Foot and Kraang are everywhere in the city." Olly instructed them.
"You got it, dude." Casey said as he and Keno drove off.
The turtles returned to the lair, only to find it in ruins with everything almost completely destroyed. "Sensei! Leatherhead!" Raph called as they entered the dojo.
"You two in here?!" Mikey asked while April focused.
"They're not here. I don't sense them." April said to them.
"They must be out fighting and searching for us." Tal said before they heard panting and turned to see Leatherhead walking in before falling to his hands and knees.
"My friends," Leatherhead said tiredly.
The turtles and girls rushed up to him, "Leatherhead, what happened to you?" Raph asked.
"Splinter and I were fighting Shredder, I was knocked into the sewers and only recovered long enough to return here to find you," Leatherhead said with grim expression, "Unfortunately, I fear your master is still in danger."
Olly picked up Splinter's family picture before giving a determined expression. "Okay, we gotta move." He spoke up as he placed the picture in his belt. "Everyone gathered one meaningful thing you wanna take with you. First we find Splinter, and then we find a way to the island." He instructed seriously.
Raph and Jenny then rushed into Rpah's room and went through some stuff before Raph picked up a picture of his old pet turtle before his mutation into Slash. "Wherever you are, I hope you're safe, Spike." He said to himself hopefully.
Jenny held his shoulder, "Don't worry Raph, Slash's been taking out Kraang for who knows how long," she assured with a smile, "We'll see him again."
"I hope you're right." Raph said as they searched for anything important to bring with them.
Donnie and Tal are in the lab, packing some chemicals and medical supplies as Donnie places a vial of mutagen in his satchel before Tal picks up some notes. "Got the Retro-Mutagen formula?" Donnie asked.
"Got it in my bag, Donnie." Tal said to him. "Can't leave home without it."
"Yeah, especially in an invasion." Donnie said as he then walked up to his frozen Timothy friend. "We'll be back Timothy. And if we don't make it, you should de-frost in about 70 years or so." He said to him.
"Let's hope the world is a better place by then." Tal hoped as she then placed a hand on Donnie's shoulder. "Don't worry, Donnie, we'll be back for him. At least he's still safe."
"Yeah. That's one good thing about being frozen." Donnie stated before turning to Metalhead's head, "Just one more thing," he said before picking it up.
"Wanting to bring Metalhead with you, huh?" Tal asked with a small smile.
"Yeah just want him to be with us." Donnie said with a small smile before he placed the head inside his bag.
In the kitchen, Mikey and Ames opened the freezer. "We know this is your home, you know we have to leave, Ice Cream Kitty." Ames said to her as Ice Cream Kitty licked herself with a meow.
"Now come on, kitty, kitty." Mikey said as he pulled on Ice Cream Kitty, who held onto the freezer as she meowed in protest. "Easy. Easy!" He called before he managed to Ice Cream Kitty out of the freezer before he fell to the ground.
"We know you don't want to leave your freezer, Ice Cream Kitty, but it's not safe here anymore." Ames said to her while gently petting Ice Cream Kitty's head. "Don't worry, we're going to our island, you'll love it there."
Mikey then put her in the cooler, "Just squeeze in between the frozen pizzas," he said as Ice Cream Kitty meowed.
In the living area, The O'Neil sisters looked at the devastation of the Lair as the many memories they had here flew through their minds.
They then turned to the TV that was frizzing while showing the Kraang invasion continuing. Then suddenly, April's mind flashed to show a vision of Splinter fighting the Shredder as April clutched her head. "Ah! Ah, my head!" She groaned as the others rushed to her and Robyn.
"Sis, what's wrong?" Robyn asked.
"Master Splinter. I sense him!" April said while she still had visions of him fighting Shredder before she yelled. "He's close!"
"Let's go!" Olly called as they all rushed out of the lair.
April led the way through the sewers before she turned to the left. "This way!" She said as they ran down the tunnel.
"Now I will tear you to pieces!" Shredder said as they saw Splinter leaping back before Shredder punched him back.
"Sensei!" Mikey said worried as they were blocked by some bars.
"Go! Leave this place!" Splinter ordered as he ducked under another attack.
"Fitting that your children are here to see you fall." Shredder mocked as Splinter was kneed in the chest.
"You can do it, Master Splinter!" Robyn encouraged.
"Splinter take him down! Take him down!" Raph encouraged.
"Don't let up!" Olly yelled out as the Shredder threw a dust bomb in Splinter's face and he screamed as he was blinded. Shredder jumped in the air and was about to finish him off, but Splinter got into a familiar stance and moved his arms in a circular motion before bringing his fists in while vibrating before he gave a double punch to Shredder's chest that sent him flying into a wall.
Splinter took a knee while panting from the move he did. "Whoa. The Sato-Oshi Strike." Olly said in awe, recognizing the technique.
"Now quickly, we must find a way to get out of here." Splinter said tiredly while walking to them. But Shredder wasn't done and he walked through the shadows and drew his blades and slashed at him again, knocking him out.
"Oh no!" Mikey said in horror.
"Sensei!" Tal cried out.
"No, no, no!" Naomi panicked.
Shredder then picked up Splinter and turned a water valve. "Don't do it!" Donnie begged as the water was being drained and Shredder approached it.
"Splinter!" Raph yelled before Shredder tossed Splinter into the water.
"NOOO!" The teenagers all screamed in horror.
"Master Splinter!" April cried out as Splinter spun around in the swirling water before disappearing below.
Raph was furious and grabbed the bars while Shredder looked at them, "You! You monster!" He screamed as he yelled in fury while trying to break down the bars as Shredder left clutching his arm and chest and limbed away in pain.
Raph kept banging on the bars. "Raph. Raph!" Jenny called while trying to get Raph to calm down. "That's enough, Raph! Enough!" She called as Raph turned to Jenny with a rageful cry he was about to attack her until she jumped at him and hugged him tightly and kissed him, which made him go wide eyes while he stood there in shock at the sudden kiss while the others looked at her in surprise by the action.
After a couple of moments, Jenny broke the kiss and looked at Raph with a solemn and comforting look. "It's okay, Raph. Splinter is a Ninja Master. And if he's anything like my dad, he's gonna be okay. I promise." She said softly as Raph fought the tears and slowly returned the hug as Jenny held him for moral support.
The others all stood there in silent despair, Ames and Mikey hugged while crying softly on each other's shoulders. Tal teared up as Donnie reached out to her before she buried her face in his plastron. April cried into her hands while Robyn hugged her with tears in her own eyes as well while Leatherhead rumbled and bowed his head in sadness.
Olly, Naomi, and Vee were the only ones not crying but Vee had her eyes closed before letting out a small sniffle and holding a hand to her face, "Vee," Olly said softly while Naomi held the cyan-clad turtle's shoulders, not seeing the serious yet enraged expression on her face.
"We're not running, Olly." Vee said as she turned to them as the others turned to her as well. "We're gonna put an end to this, once and for all." She declared angrily.
Olly realized what she meant as he gave a serious look and turned to Donnie. "Well, Donnie. Looks like we're going with your plan after all. Prep the Turtle Mech; We're going after Shredder, and then, Kraang Prime." He declared seriously as Donnie nodded with the same expression.
In the streets, the Kraang droids watched in terror as a massive turtle robot loomed over them, with the turtle brothers and April riding in it, while on the ground, the Islander turtles, Leatherhead, and Robyn stood in front of the mech while glaring at the Kraang with their weapons ready.
"Oh, yeah! Turtle Mech power!" Mikey yelled before the Kraang started firing at them.
Olly raised his axe and sliced three droids down, "We'll handle the Kraang! You guys just get to Shredder's Lair and shut him down, for good!" He ordered the ones in the Turtle mech.
"Okay, but be careful!" Donnie called out.
"We will, same to you! Now go!" Olly yelled as he fought more Kraang.
"Dudes, this is the coolest thing ever!" Mikey cheered in excitement. "All my Super Robo Mecha fantasies have come true!" He cheered as the Turtle Mech marched further to Shredder's lair while Leatherhead and the Islander turtles kept fighting the Kraang.
Eventually, they came into view of Shredder's Lair, "There it is, Shredder's lair!" Mikey called as they all glared in determination. "Let's get him!"
But before they could take any step further, a laser blasted at their feet and they turned to see Kraang Prime looking down at them. "Um, guys?" April asked nervously as Kraang Prime roared at them. "I think we're in trouble."
"We won't stand a chance in this thing!" Raph said worried.
"We can do this! Super Robo Mecha Force fought WAY bigger enemy's!" Mikey said confidently.
"Booyakasha!" Donnie declared pulling a lever, which released a barrel from the Mech's shell, which exploded on Kraang Prime's face as he screamed in pain and anger.
Kraang Prime glared down at the three turtles and human girl, "Lowly insects! Do you think Kraang can be stopped?" Kraang Prime questioned as he stomped towards them, "It was Kraang who found your planet millions of years ago! It was Kraang who used the mutagen to turn the monkeys into you lowly humans!"He he mocked as he towered over them. "And it is Kraang who will transform your world!" He declared making an evil laugh.
"And it will be Kraang, who gets kicked in the shin! Wha!" Mikey said as he pulled the lever, the mech kicked one of Kraang Prime's legs but had no effect. Kraang Prime roared at them and slashed at them, the helmet on top started firing more lightning at them and almost hit them.
"Grappling hook!" Donnie shouted as the mech flew into the air and onto a building. Kraang Prime charged up her blast again and the mech was trying to outrun it. They barely dodged another blast on the building and the mech fell on the ground tipped over.
"Ugh.. is everyone okay?" April asked worried.
"Sorta/ Not really." Raph and Mikey replied in pain.
"Barely functioning.." Donnie said as April pulled on another lever and it made the mech stand up again as Kraang prime turned another corner and reached an arm to them.
"Donnie, Donnie! Get this thing moving Donnie!" Raph shouted in fear before Kraang Prime grabbed them and they screamed in fear.
"Kraang has had enough games!" Kraang Prime said in annoyance before Donnie pulled on another lever, spewing flames in Prime's face, making him scream in pain and drop the mech as an alarm was beeping.
Mikey looked at the screen, "Dude! Weapons are down!" he said in worry as The mech struggled to it's feet.
"We got one last trick left! But it might fry the mech!" Donnie said seriously.
"I don't think we have a choice!" April said as Kraang Prime glared down at them.
"Ready the harpoon!" Donnie shouted as he pulled a lever and shot the grapple to a power line and that had power surge around the mech. "First we tap into the city's power grid, then we-"
"Fire!" Mikey finished as he launched the claw to him.
"Goodbye turtles!" Kraang Prime said with anger, the claw latched under his chin and Donnie pressed a button. This electrocuted Kraang Prime as they screamed in fear, or Kraang Prime's case pain. The power was so much that the line exploded causing the entire city to black out.
Kraang Prime then got an explosion in his face while the Mech was knocked back before the Leader of the Kraang finally fell down in defeat. "Ah! Gotta shut down the system!" Donnie said as he shut it down finally and the power all shut down.
April was coughing for a moment until she saw their foe was down, "Yes!" April cheered as all of them had thought they had won.
"We did! Kraang Prime is toast!" Raph said in victory.
"Guys!" Olly's voice yelled out as he and his team rushed up to the smoking mech. "What happened?! Why is the mech smoking?!" He asked in shock.
"Short story, we had a little early and totally smoked him!" Mikey declared with a bright smile.
Jenny looked around, "Yeah well it looks like that wasn't all you took out." She commented, "You blacked out the city,"
"Yeah, that's what happens when Donnie tries to electrocute someone with a mech." April said with a small smile.
"Well, at least Kraang Prime is down. Even without the Mech we might still have an advantage against Shredder." Vee said with a confident smile.
But when it looked like they had won, Kraang Prime's brain-body crawled out of his suit, and he roared in rage.
"Um… not really…" Mikey said in worry.
"It appears Kraang Prime is stronger than other Kraang," Leatherhead said with a glare as Kraang Prime screamed, lunging to the ground and crawled towards them at fast speeds.
"Donnie… Make this thing move!" Raph said with fear as Donnie tried in vain to get the mech moving again.
"I can't! It's fried! Abandon ship! Abandon ship!" Donnie shouted as the three turtles and April exited the Turtle Mech with yells.
"Everyone, move!" Olly yelled as they moved out of the way before Kraang Prime tackled the Turtle Mech down and crawled up to the heroes, just as Casey and Keno rushed to them in the Party Wagon.
"Sorry we're late," Keno said as he and Casey stepped out and armed themselves.
"Never mind that! Maybe with all of us together, we can still-" Raph tried to say but was cut off when they were surrounded by Kraang Droids, Footbots, and the Foot Mutants, "Oh, come on!" He said in exasperation.
"We noticed the commotion and saw the blackout all over the city." Fishface said while twirling his balisword, "Looks like Kraang Prime did the leg work for us amigos,"
"And by the way, nice mech fight back there." Rahzar mocked while drawing his claws. "Too bad your toy can't save you now!"
Shredder then walked up between Kitsune and Tigerclaw with Kraang Prime behind him, "Your city has fallen. Your lair is destroyed. Your brother is broken. And your sensei is no more." Shredder told the Hamato clan warriors, "It is time for you to accept the reality turtles: You have lost." He declared.
"Surrender now, and we just may allow you to live as our prisoners," Tigerclaw ordered them.
"Like we'd ever be prisoners with you!" Vee yelled as they all drew their weapons and got into ready stances.
"You may have won the battle, but the war isn't over! Not while one of us still draws breath!" Olly declared while raising his axe around. "And we will keep fighting until our last breath!"
"No retreat, no surrender!" Leatherhead added with a roar.
"This is for Leo and Splinter!" Raph yelled next while twirling his Sais around.
"Then you have accepted your fate." Shredder said with a glare as he drew his blades. "Let's finish this, once and for all." He said as the Kraang and Foot walked up to the Hamato Warriors, who got into ready stances for their last stand, even with the odds against them, they will never stop fighting.
But then a loud cry brought all their attention as they looked up and saw something that made their eyes widen in shock. "What?!" Shredder exclaimed in shock.
"What in the world?" Donnie asked slowly while the Islander Turtles gave knowing smiles.
"We know that cry." Ames said with a smirk.
Flying down was a small flock of five actually giant eagle-like birds! Four of them were green with blue tipped wings with brown legs and beaks, and the fifth was much bigger, red with a golden beak, wing tips, tail-feathers and head crests. And riding on the birds back were masked turtles warriors with a red masked turtle on the larger one, "Rocs, Attack!" the red masked turtle called while pointing his spear at the Kraang and Foot.
The others looked in shock as the Rocs soared down around the heroes and their vehicles while the Kraang and Foot were running for cover while trying to fight back, but the dragons were whacking them away like nothing as the turtles stepped down and fought them back.
"Uh, are these…. Giant birds and Turtles?!" Raph asked in shock.
"This is so METAL!" Casey called in excitement. "Giant birds! That's like the best thing ever!" as the red one landed in front of the heroes while smacking Shredder into a wall.
The red-masked turtle stepped off his Roc and looked at the islander turtles, "It seems Orimura was correct," He commented with a grin.
"Ryuga!" The islander turtles cheered.
"Greetings, young ones. Glad you are all safe." Ryuga said as the Islander Turtles rushed up to him and Ames gave him a hug.
They broke the hug as Naomi turned to him. "We knew that you and our Tribe would find us!" She said in joy.
"Yes, well if we want to see them again, I suggest we leave, now!" Ryuga stated as he turned to the other turtles, "Men, to your Rocs!" The turtles nodded and rushed to their Avian steeds.
"Wait! We can't leave our brother! He's too injured to move, let alone fly!" Raph pointed out.
"Then enter your vehicles and we'll carry you the rest of the way. Hurry!" Ryuga ordered as they all nodded as they entered the Party Waggon while Leatherhead entered the trailer and the Islander Turtles rode with Ryuga on the dragon. "Rescue team, retreat!"
The other turtles mounted their Rocs and a couple grabbed hold of the Trailer and Party Wagon as they then took off into the sky before the Kraang and Foot got their bearings and saw the six birds flying far away into the distance.
"No!" Tigerclaw yelled in rage.
"They're getting away!" Rahzar yelled as Kraang Prime roared at the escaping dragons. "Oh, shut it, you giant squid ball!" He yelled in irritation.
"They're flying too fast! I won't be able to reach them in time!" Koya exclaimed.
"Let them go," Shredder said with his arm up, much to his allies' surprise.
"What? Master Shredder, you're just letting them go?" Kitsune asked in shock.
"They are not worth the time. The City belongs to us, Hamato Yoshi lives no more and their last attempt to defeat has been crushed." Shredder said to them without turning. "They know they are defeated. And if they do return…" He then extended his blades in emphasis.
They all looked in silence as they looked at the escaping Rocs flying away, though they had won they knew for certain the Turtles would return someday.
In the sky, the Rocs were flying out to sea, with the New Yorkers in the Party Wagon, while Leatherhead was in the trailer, and there was a sense of defeat in the air. The turtles look down at their wounded brother as Donnie places a blanket over him. "I'm sorry, Leo. You, Olly, Naomi, and Vee were right. If we just left the city like you four said, the Kraang and Foot wouldn't have found the lair and started the invasion." Donnie said in guilt and regret. "None would've happened."
"Hey, at least we all made it out," Keno said with a small smile. "If it weren't for these guys showing up to save us, things could've been worse."
"But, where do we go from here?" Robyn asked hopelessly.
"Well, Olly said we're heading to their island. It's a safe haven for us for the time being." April said with a small smile. "It's completely off the map, the Kraang and the Foot will never find us there."
"An island off the map, eh? Sounds good to Casey Jones." Casey said while leaning back with a smile.
"Did you two find your family?" April asked Keno and Casey, who looked away in sadness.
"No sign of them anywhere," Keno said in dread.
"They probably got Kraang-atize," Casey said while trying to hold back his tears before April hugged him and Robyn did the same to Keno to comfort them.
Mikey hugged his knees while Raph kept an arm over him, "What's gonna happen now Raph?" Mikey asked his big brother.
"For the first time in my life, I have no idea, little brother." Raph honestly said as he held his head down while they kept flying off to the night sky.
"I missed Master Splinter." Mikey said sadly as they flew away from their greatest defeat yet.
In the sewers of New York, Splinter was unconscious as he floated around in the water before Miwa swam up to him in her snake form and caught her father with her tail before swimming up to the surface before she placed Splinter down on the floor.
Miwa climbed out and shifted back to her human form, approaching her father in concern, "Father?" She asked gently nudging him as Splinter gave a small breath, showing he was alive. Miwa gave a sad smile and hugged him, "I love you," She said before changing back to her snake form and diving into the water, leaving Splinter to eventually recover.
And with that, Season 2 of TMNT 2012 is complete. For those who don't already know, the first half of Season 3 will take place on Turtle Island rather than April's old farmhouse, where the New York City Turtles will connect with more of their kind. Some changes, of course, will be made from the canon show, Leatherhead being included in them being one.
