In the woods at night, the creatures were either sleeping, hunting or exploring their forest home. A deer was drinking from the river before it perked up, sensing something and ran off.
Then peeking out from behind a tree was a human dressed in hunter gear as he looked around and continued on while searching the area before he stopped and lowered down to inspect the ground as a big creature was spying on him from behind.
"I've got a bad feeling, Mama." The hunter said as he picked up a mini head of a woman. "'You be careful, boy. Don't get yourself hurt none.'" He said for the head.
"Don't worry your pretty little head, mama. Ain't nothing gonna happen to 'The Finger'." He bragged before showing his right hand have an extra pinkie. "'Don't get cocky. You know he's out there. He's watching you.'" He said for Mama again as he ready his bow and arrow and aimed it behind him.
"Don't nag me, Mama! I ain't no little kid no more!" The Finger said as he heard rustling behind the woods as he slowly walked towards it and aimed his arrow, but then coming out of the bush was a squirrel, which he sighed as it rushed off, but then the creature came up from behind him as there was an explosion in that area of the woods.
In the Shell Tribe Village, Donnie was working on something in the lab, "There," he said before holding up a music box that started playing and have a picture of Donnie in it. Donnie smiled at it before he frowned. "Too much?" He asked, while coming up behind him was Mikey,
"Do you really want my opinion?" Mikey asked his brother.
"Only if you think it's perfect." Donnie answered while Mikey thought for a moment.
"It's perfect!" Mikey cheered.
Donnie smiled, "Thanks Mikey, but I think I need a more feminine opinion here," He said, as he had just the girl in mind.
Donnie then met with April and showed her the music box, "So whaddya think?" Donnie asked the O'Neil girl.
April inspected the box for a bit before she gave a small smile. "I think it's, super neat, Donnie. And if I had to guess, it's for Tal, right?" She asked with a smirk before Donnie gave a sheepish look and scratched his head. "You know, I'm starting to see why the others teased you sometimes."
"Uh, what are you talking about?" Donnie asked nervously with a sheepish smile.
"Donnie, these last three months have taught me anything since we left New York, you're one heck of a lover turtle." April said with a small chuckle. "And plus, Mikey sorta told me about it after you and Tal been hanging out more often."
"Mikey!" Donnie yelled as Mikey was peeking through a couch, which he fearfully lowered himself.
"What? Everyone knows about you two." Mikey said in defense.
"Heheh, it's okay, Donnie. But still, this is a great gift." April said as she placed the music box down. "You really put effort into it for her."
"I just want it to be perfect for her," Donnie sighed.
"I'm sure it is, Donnie. You made it after all." April said with a small smile. "We'll, I'll see you guys later. And good luck, Don." She said as she walked out of the hut.
"You know, Donnie, I'm surprised you moved on from April." Raph said while leaning against the doorway. "I mean, it was never gonna happen in the first place anyway. We're mutants. And she's a human girl. You're a giant walking talking turtle." He said as he walked up to him.
"I know, I just felt like April was the only girl for me," Donnie said before smiling, "But after meeting Tal and coming here, maybe I was wrong,"
"Well, I'm proud of you, bro," Raph said while giving a punch to his chest. "But you know what we need right now? Huh? Huh, buddy, you know what you need right now?"
"Checking the music box to make sure it's in the right place?" Donnie asked confusedly.
"A little forest ninja training! Ha!" Raph said with a smile. "Huh? Huh? Sounds like fun. Right? Right?" He asked while giving Donnie a noogie while the turtles thought for a moment.
A bit later, the turtles, sans Leo, were doing some training near the forest while sparing with each other while Leo watched from a hill while they fought each other.
Dariyasa came over to Leo, "You are free to join them, Leonardo," She told the blue-clad turtle, causing him to jump.
"Whoa! Uh, actually, I was just watching before I decided anything." Leo said in surprise while taking slow breaths. "Wow, you are sneaky, your Ladyship."
"Oh Leonardo, please, there's no need for formality." Dariyasa said with a small smile. "I may be Grand Mistress of the tribe, but I am like everyone else: a Turtle."
"Yeah, I guess so." Leo said with a small smile before he turned back to the others as he saw Raph fighting his brothers as he tossed Mikey to Donnie.
"Aw, you guys are rustier than the Titanic's butt!" Raph called as he was about to give his brothers a kick.
"No we're-" Mikey was cut off when he and Donnie tried to dodge the kick, but they crashed into the tree while Raph landed between them, which got the Islander Turtles attention.
"Uh, Raph has a point you two." Olly said with a cringed look.
"We're not in the city anymore." Raph said to his brothers as they slid down the trees. "You need to get used to this new environment no buildings, no subways." He said with a smile as he was about to give MIkey a face punch, but Mikey crashed into the tree again as he fell to the ground. "Lots of trees." He said with a smirk.
"Ugh. Tell me about." Mikey said with a groan.
"You seemed to be adapting well, Raphael." Dariyasa noted with a small smile.
"Well, ever since Leo's been down I've had to stay on top of training these Egghead and Numbskull," Raph said, jerking a thumb at Mikey and Donnie.
"Hey!" Donnie and Mikey called out in ire.
"And you've done most excellently, but you too still have room to grow," Dariyasa said as Raph raised a brow. Dariyasa then held up one of Raph's fists, "These fists of yours hold the power of a hundred mighty Earthquakes that can bring even the mightiest warriors to to their knees."
"I know," Raph said, smiling at the praise, "I know, plus I'm the best fighter on this team and-"
Raph was cut off when Dariyasa started knocking on the top of his head, "But the same mighty rocks that empower your fists, also fill this hard and rather high temperature head of yours too," Dariyasa said with a teasing smile.
"Hey!" Raph said in insult while the others all laughed at him in amusement.
"Oh, mother got you there, Raph." Ames said in amusement.
"She got your number!" Jenny added through her laughter. "She does that to me too!"
Dariyasa looked to the young turtles, "All of you have burdens within yourselves that must be overcome if you are to succeed to taking back your city," She said as all nodded in agreement.
"So if we wanna stand a chance in different environments, we have to adapt and evolve." Olly spoke up next. "Kinda like how Mikey and Ames did when they were stranded in Dimension X."
"Yeah!" Ames and Mikey said as they shared a high-three together.
"Then let's try some training in the woods." Vee said before turning to Leo. "So, what do you think, Leo?"
Leo thought for a moment before he smirk."Turtle hunt." He said.
"Turtle hunt." Raph said with a smirk.
"Turtle hunt?!" Donnie and Mikey asked nervously.
"Turtle hunt?" Olly and his siblings and girlfriend asked in confusion.
"Um, what is 'Turtle hunt'?" Naomi asked in wonder.
"Oh, it's where one of us has to hunt the others from where ever they are hiding." Raph said with an exciting look. "Kinda like hide and seek, ninja style." He said with a smirk while looking at his two nervous brothers before turning to Leo. "You gonna help out, Leo?"
"Yeah, I-" Leo was about to walk up to them, but the second he placed his foot down, he cringed in pain as he used his clutch to balance himself before he gave a sad look. "Sorry. I guess I'm still not up to it." He said as he turned around. "Enjoy your little hunt, guys." He said as he walked off.
The others looked at Leo in sympathy before Vee walked up to him, "Here Leo, I'll help you back," She said, helping him walk.
"It's okay, Vee. I got this." Leo insisted before he stumbled and Vee helped him stand again.
"Not from where I'm seeing." Vee said with a small smile. "Come on, I got you." She said as she guided Leo back to the village as Leo gave a small smile at Vee.
"Okay, how do we play this Turtle Hunt?" Tal questioned with a brow.
"You guys are gonna head into the forest." Raph started as he did some stretches. "I'll give you a five-minute head start, and then, I hunt you down."
"So it's like Hide and Seek," Olly said while rubbing his chin.
"Something like that." Raph said with a shrug.
"What's the wager?" Jenny questioned with a smirk.
"If you can't stay hidden for at least an hour, you'll have to…" Raph thought for a moment before he smirked. "Clean the Roc Coop,"
"No way!" Donnie protested.
"Not the Roc Coop, man!" Mikey pleaded.
"Seriously, you want us to clean that?!" Ames exclaimed.
"Did you not see last week?!" Tal asked in disgust.
"They smelled like cheese fossils!" Donnie exclaimed.
"They got spiders so big, they'd played the banjo!" Mikey cried out as he pictured a giant spider playing the banjo.
"Seriously, Raph!? We can't clean those things! The Rocs leave a huge mess! Emphasis on huge!" Olly exclaimed.
"Then get moving." Raph said with a smirk with his arms crossed as the others ran off into the woods very quickly while Dariyasa gave an amused giggle at them.
"They usually try to avoid cleaning the Roc Coop." Dariyasa said in amusement. "They go into the woods and hide from my beloved just to get away from the chores."
"Well, they're about to do them when I'm threw finding them," Raph said while cracking his knuckles.
The turtles all kept running from the woods until they were in a clearing."How do we hide in the woods, anyway?! There's no doors!" Mikey cried out.
"Just use anything around you! Hide in rocks, go underwater, camouflage in the bushes, climb a tree, anything!" Tal said frantically while looking around.
"Mmm." Donnie thought for a moment before a leaf fell in front of him and he looked up. "Ah. I say we climb a tree." He suggested.
"That's the first place he's gonna look!" Mikey exclaimed. "Could we burrow? Do turtles burrow in the wild?"
"I don't know! I've never been in the wild before!" Donnie cried out in panic. "Have you?"
"Does Jersey count?" Mikey asked.
"Wow, you guys really are city kids." Jenny commented they all heard a roar, which caused them to flinch as they looked around. "What the heck was that?!"
"It's gotta be Raph messing with us! Right?!" Donnie asked nervously.
"We'll, we're not waiting around to find out! We gotta hide, now!" Olly called out.
In a few moments, the turtles then climbed up a tree, "Oh, we are most definitely cleaning the Coop." Naomi said tiredly.
"Yeah, this is weak." Ames commented. "Raph's gonna find us up here in five seconds."
"I don't think so, guys." Mikey asked nervously as he looked up.
"Why not, Mikey?" Olly asked before they all looked up and they saw a a large furry creature at the top of the tree branch as it growled down at them.
"Um… hi?" Mikey asked nervously before they all jumped out of the tree before the creature came down to them as it roared at them before they drew their weapons and faced the creature, while the creature broke a tree off the ground and twirled it around like a staff.
"What is that thing? A giant monkey man?!" Jenny questioned in shock.
"It's look like the mythical sasquatch. Bigfoot!" Donnie said with a surprised look before Bigfoot whack them with the tree, sending them flying as they as they hit a tree. "He's too big! Run!" He called as they all started running with Bigfoot following them.
Raph was looking through the woods for the others before he saw them running and yelling towards him. "Oh, come on. You guys aren't even trying to hide." He said to them as they kept running.
"Bigfoot!" They all screamed as they ran past Raph.
"Yeah, right." Raph scoffed as he turned to them. "If you think you can get out cleaning that stall by-" He was cut off when Jenny turned Raph's head to Bigfoot right there as he smacked a tree down with his bare hands as Raph's jaw dropped and white disk eyes. The others screamed as they were about to run, but Raph smirked and rew his sais. "Looks like we're about to get some 'real' training." He said as the others gave him a dull look and drew their weapons.
Bigfoot growled before he roared as the turtles charged at him. "Booyakasha!" Mikey called while the others gave a battle cry, but in a short second, Mikey was kicked from the rear and flew into the air while most of the group were punched down.
Raph was fighting Bigfoot as he flipped over him and drew his sais. Bigfoot saw his weapons and then broke two branches off as the two clashed at each other as they challenged each other strengths before Bigfoot tossed Raph's sais away, shocking him.
"Bigfoot got some skills." Raph commented as he avoided Bigfoot's strikes.
Ames went up to Bigfoot's head and tried to atack him, but she was caught in a branch as her eyes bulged and fell to the ground. Donnie gave a yell and grabbed Bigfoot's arm, which he tried to shake off as he began to whimper before Donnie looked at his arm.
"Hey, are you-" Donnie started when he noticed some cuts on Bigfoot's arm before he was tossed away as the others tried to land a strike on Bigfoot, but then he grabbed Mikey's face and held him around. "Stop! Guys, he's hurt." He said to the others as they stopped fighting. "I don't think he wants to fight us, I think he just scared."
"Scared?" Bigfoot said in confusion.
"He can talk?" Raph asked in surprise.
"Apparently, yes," Naomi said just as surprised.
"Look at that sagittal crest." Donnie said while looking at Bigfoot's features. "It could be a Paranthropus Robustus, a hominid long thought extinct!" He said in amazement while Mikey was still being held up by the face.
"Can't breathe!" Mikey muttered while pointing to his head.
"So what are we suppose to do with him?" Tal questioned.
"Well, if what Donnie is saying is true, Bigfoot might be injured." Olly said with a thoughtful look. "I say, we should help him."
"Whoa, whoa, whoa, you're not talking about bringing him back with us are you?" Jenny asked her big brother in disbelief, "If dad sees this big ape, his head's gonna go through the roof!"
"We don't have a choice." Olly said with a serious look. "Bigfoot must've come to our island to escape something if he's scared."
"He's right. We can't just leave the poor thing alone." Naomi said while gesturing to Bigfoot. "His wounds need to be treated."
Tal approached Bigfoot as he whimpered in fear, "Hey, it's okay, it's okay." Tal eased softy, "We won't hurt you. I can help you if you let me." She said as Bigfoot whimpered. "It's okay. I wanna help." She said as he slowly looked at Bigfoot's arm Donnie saw as he looked. "It's not bad. But I like to take you home where we can clean it up and bandage it. If that's okay?" She asked as Bigfoot whimpered and nodded.
"Hello?! Anybody?!" Mikey pleaded while still being held by Bigfoot's hand before he let him go as he fell to the ground, feeling dizzy.
"No way, we can't bring a giant ape man home with us!" Raph protested.
"Okay, let's put it to a vote." Olly said with his arms crossed. "Who wants to bring Bigfoot home with us?" He asked as he raised his arm, along with Donnie, Tal, Naomi, and Ames while Mikey got up after recomposing himself.
"Injured woodland creature, bring him home." Mikey said with a smile.
"Six to two, guys. Sorry." Ames said as Jenny and Raph growled.
"Hello, Bigfoot. I'm Maolier, but you may call me Naomi, this is Raphael, Olivier, Michelangelo, Amoly, Jennika, Donatello, and Talena." Naomi greeted as the Finger was spying on them behind a tree.
"I…" Bigfoot said.
"I? Okay, your name is I." Donnie said with a nod.
"I… no name." Bigfoot moaned.
"Of course you have a name! You're Bigfoot!" Mikey said as he didn't know it's name and it looked at its large foot.
"Bigfoot." Bigfoot said before he made a laugh as he liked that. "Bigfoot."
"Will you come with us back to our village?" Olly asked as the Finger moved from behind them, which Bigfoot noticed as he whimpered and looked around. "It's okay, big guy. You'll be safe with us." He assured as they walked off.
"Why would he be scare of us?" Raph wondered as they walked off.
As they kept walking thought, Jenny turned to Olly. "Olly, you know it's a bad idea to bring an unknown visitor to the village, starting with dad." She whispered to him.
"Just get Bigfoot back home and try and patch him up." Olly instructed. "I'll deal with Father once we get back." He said, while the Finger watched them.
"Well mama, been hunting this furry freak for years now." The man said looking at a small head. "'And now he goes and finds himself some more freaks'." Mama told the Finger.
"Save it mama, ain't no little green aliens are gonna save Bigfoot from.. The Finger!" He declared.
Back at the village in the grand hut, Dariyasa was giving some soup to Leo, Vee and Leatherhead while Orimura was meditating, Donnie then opened the door, "Oh, back from playing in the woods, I see," Dariyasa said.
"Training," Donnie corrected as the others came in, "And we have company."
"What?! You can't just let anyone in." Leo said before he noticed something behind Donnie. "Why is the doorway full of hair?" He questioned as Mikey and Ames started pulling Bigfoot from behind.
"And a giant butt?" Vee questioned weirdly as the others came to them with strange looks while Mikey and Ames tried to get Bigfoot inside.
"Come on, it's okay." Donnie assured him before Bigfoot was pushed inside, knocking the three turtles down as they fell to the floor while they all looked in shock.
"It's Bigfoot!" Casey yelled out.
"He's real?!" Keno questioned in shock.
"You brought Bigfoot home?!" Leo questioned.
"Why everyone know Bigfoot name?" Bigfoot asked in wonder.
"Bigfoot, this is Leonardo, Casey Jones, April O'Neil, Keno Andrada, Venus De Milo, Robyn O'Neil, Leatherhead, Grandmaster Orimura, and Grandmistress Dariyasa." Naomi introduced.
"Oh, the poor thing is hurt." Dariyasa said in concern.
"We'll get the First Aid kit." Robyn said as she and April walked off.
Orimura turned to his son with a firm look, "Olivier." He said sternly.
"Uh, now Father before you get mad, I can explain." Olly said to him with a nervous look.
"Indeed, please explain why you brought a giant mythological beast into our village, and our home!" Orimura questioned with a firm tone while looking at Bigfoot.
Olly gave a nervous smile. "Oh, you'll, you'll laugh your shell off when you hear this one." He said before he and the others laughed sheepishly.
"Eheheh. It's a pretty good one," Mikey said before Orimura slammed his sword down, which made Olly stiff as he gave a firm look.
"Come on, Dad. He needs our help." Ames said to him. "Just until his arm gets better."
"You've taught us that every creature, great or small, deserves compassion," Tal said while giving Bigfoot a sympathetic look, "We can't just leave him like this,"
Orimura thought for a moment before he looked down and noticed the young turtles kneeling in front of him giving him puppy eyes and whimpering frowns before he sighed. "Very well. Bigfoot may stay. But once he recovered, he goes back to where he belongs." He conceded.
The turtles cheered, "A very wise choice, my love." Dariyasa said as she and the O'Neil sisters came in. "Now come along, Bigfoot, My sister is waiting for you,"
"Let's get the wound clean up." April said as the three walked into another room with Tal behind them.
"Sure, but when I wanted to have a dog, you guys are like 'No way!'" Casey complained as he and Keno came down.
"Casey, are you seriously just thinking about it?" Keno questioned with a brow. "This is Bigfoot. Bigfoot!" He exclaimed.
"Yeah. Bigfoot is the missing genetic link between humans and the ape!" Donnie explained. "This discovery could change the face of science itself!" He stated.
"So, it's bigger than talking turtles?" Casey joked as Donnie growled at him before Orimura smacked them on the heads.
"It is not hard to discover bad humor." Orimura said with his chin up.
A bit later, at the healing pavilion, Harumi finished wrapping Bigfoot with a bandage on his arm while April, Robyn, Tal, Donnie, and Dariyasa watch. "There you go, big boy. Try not to use your arm for the next few days and you should be stronger than ever." Harumi advised as Bigfoot nodded in understanding.
"Bigfoot, thank Tal." Bigfoot said to Tal.
"No problem, Bigfoot," Tal said before Bigfoot frowned.
"Bad man after Bigfoot. Name 'The Finger'." Bigfoot explained.
"The Finger?" Donnie asked in confusion.
"Who names someone 'The Finger'?" Robyn questioned with a brow.
"Very bad mans." Bigfoot said with a frown before he smiled. "But turtles good mans." He said with a wide smile.
"Aw, thanks, Bigfoot." Donnie said with a smile.
"But Donnie very good." Bigfoot said as he leaned close to Donnie, who moved back weirdly from him. "So good. Bigfoot." He started before he gave Donnie a big kiss on the cheek.
Dariyasa, Harumi and the girls were truly stunned, "Oh my," Dariyasa said with a hand to her mouth.
"Whoa." April said slowly while Tal gapped in shock,
Bigfoot gave Donnie a hug, "Love Donnie!" She said happily.
"B-but, b-b-b-but-!" Donnie stammered.
Bigfoot am lady." Bigfoot said while nuzzling Donnie.
"This is great?" Donnie said awkwardly.
"That is great!" Casey mocked before everyone in the room laughed at this while Bigfoot kept hugging Donnie.
"Okay, now that's funny!" Jenny called out through her laughter. "Oh, it was so right to bring Bigfoot home, Olly."
"The only thing I'm more shock is that Bigfoot is a female!" Olly stated while trying to contain his laughter.
"There goes the everything known about Bigfoot!" Keno added through his laughter as he slapped his knee.
A bit later, Bigfoot is doing different things around the village; the first one shows Donnie working in his lab again but is being watched by Bigfoot again, which makes him nervous.
Later that night, Donnie was watching the Crognard show again and was being fed popcorn by Bigfoot.
The next day in the kitchen, Mikey was making some soup until he saw Bigfoot come inside."Bigfoot bring meat!" Bigfoot said, putting a bag down.
"Where did you…? " Mikey asked as she pulled out a dead squirrel.
"Good meet, tender, tender." Bigfoot said and Mikey screamed before he puked inside the pot.
A bit later, Raph was currently heading out to the bathroom until he saw Bigfoot come out. "Bigfoot make waste." She said walking off.
"Uh, make waste?" Raph asked confused, he checked inside and saw the bathing pool emitting a horrible stink. "Ahh!" He called as he quickly shut the door. "BIGFOOT!" Raph screamed in anger which echoed through the village.
In the forest, the Finger is searching around for the turtles and Bigfoot before he hid in the trees. "Okay, Bigfoot. We're doing training because Donnie and Mikey need to learn to blend in, forest stuff." Olly said to her while he, Raph, Mikey, and Donnie are outside.
"If you're gonna stay with us, at least you could help out." Raph said while wearing a stank mask. "Show them some stuff with Olly and Tal, okay. I have to go clean out the pool." He said as he put the mask over his face and grabbed the cleaning supplies as he walked off.
"Which will be a while for Raph to clean out." Olly said with a cringe look. "He's lucky mother or father didn't notice it." He commented before turning to Bigfoot. "Okay, Bigfoot, since you are known for being hard to spot, you take the lead. Show Donnie and Mikey how to blend in to the forest."
Bigfoot nodded as Donnie and Mikey looked at her nervously as Bigfoot reach out to Donnie. "Please don't grab m head again." He pleaded as he grab Mikey by the shoulders, much to his relief as she carried Mikey to a bush and place him down while the Finger watches.
"Blend in." Bigfoot said.
"We can still see him." Donnie commented.
"Well, it's… something." Olly said while scratching his head. "This is gonna be harder than we thought."
The Finger watched on and pulled out the little doll again. "Mama, looks like Bigfoot has made himself a couple of green alien buddies, the finger is okay with that." Finger said putting out a crossbow and was sneaking up to them.
Bigfoot saw the Finger and the distance and quickly grabbed the three and ran off while avoiding darts. "Ugh, you squishing me!" Mikey screamed
"Bigfoot, put us down!" Olly called as they ran off. Which the Finger saw.
"Darn it, lost em, but not for long!" Finger said sinisterly.
Back at the Hut, Jenny, Leo, Vee and Raph were playing games. "Come on, Vee and Leo, give us your best!" Raph called out.
"You'll gain no ground!" Leo called.
"We'll beat you two!" Jenny called.
"Fat chance!" Vee added as the four play before Mikey, Olly, Donnie, and Bigfoot came in.
"Oh, man!" Mikey called out with a smile. "Bigfoot is amazeballs with the forest stealth stuff!" He called as they entered the room with BIgfoot looking nervous.
"She hardly done a thing, but Bigfoot is strong and fast." Olly commented.
"Bigfoot, scared." Bigfoot said nervously before the game, beeped which showed Leo and Vee side of the video game team down while Raph and Jenny's characters won while Raph shuck his rear at them while Jenny blew a raspberry at them. "Finger, bad!" Bigfoot cried as she covered up the window close to her.
"Right. Fingers are bad." Raph said while taking the controllers from Leo and Vee.
"Hey, Donnie, Olly, you two wanna play the winners?" Jenny asked while Bigfoot peaked out the window fearfully as she whimpered.
A bit later at night, Bigfoot is in the kitchen making soup again as April walks in. "Evening, Bigfoot; what're you making?" April asked curiously.
"Food, Donnie." Bigfoot said, walking off while April peeked in, and her eyes turned into white disks of disgust.
"Um.. you realize that meat has fur?" April asked pointing at it and Bigfoot nodded in response. She went and opened the freezer and found ice cream kitty inside and they both screamed at eachother in fear until Bigfoot threw the fridge out of the window in fear.
"Bigfoot need help." She said to April.
"Sure what Bigfoot want… I mean… what do you want?" April asked curiously.
"Makeover?"Bigfoot asked nervously.
A bit later, April and Bigfoot were in he bathroom as April started tripping her. "Okay, a little off the top here." She said as she kept trimming as she then apply some lipstick on Bigfoot. "Well, uh what do you think?" April asked as Bigfoot grabbed a mirror and saw her reflection, and the mirror shattered as a result.
With Donnie, Bigfoot offered him the soup she made, which he cringed back in disgust. "Did you…" He tried to ask before he looked up and saw that Bigfoot had a ponytail and some lipstick as she gave a huge smile. "Wow! Oh, yeah. Um, t-thank you." He said nervously as Bigfoot kept smile. "Gotta go! Bye!" He quickly said as he ran off at high speed while Bigfoot gave a sad look.
Donnie rushed into the living where Raph is playing videos as he hid beside the wall. "Uh this is so uncomfortable, Bigfoot follows me everywhere like a lovestruck puppy." Donnie said closing the door.
"Now you know how April feels when you used to do the same to her." Raph mocked as he played more video games, Donnie was about to say something but soon realized he was right.
"Guess I owe her an apology," Donnie said before looking at the music box for Tal, "And I owe this to someone else," He added, taking the box.
With Bigfoot, she was currently sitting on the grand central tree, thinking why Donnie reacted the way he did until she heard Casey and Leo laughing.
"So she's wearing makeup now and keeps making soup for Donnie," Leo said while chuckling.
"You think she's his type?" Casey asked trying to hold back his laughter.
"Maybe after a shave!" Leo joked which made the two of them laugh hard, but they didn't know Bigfoot was hearing them and saw her looking upset before running off. "Bigfoot wait!" He shouted in regret.
Donnie, Olly, Naomi, Ames, and Mikey were on the porch and saw Bigfoot running off while crying and turned to Leo and Casey.
Olly then put two and two together, "What, did, you, do?" He asked in a low serious tone while glaring at the two.
Leo and Casey looked nervous and ashamed, "We were just joking around on Bigfoot crushing on Donnie, but I guess she overheard us," Leo explained in guilt.
"What is wrong with you guys?!" Mikey asked in anger.
"We didn't mean to hurt her feelings!" Casey said in defense.
"Sometimes words can do more damage than a sword." Naomi stated in disappointment.
"Bigfoot wait!" Donnie shouted as he ran after along with Mikey, Ames, Naomi, and Olly.
Bigfoot continued to cry with the four turtles following her as the Finger saw her run through the forest. "Mama your boy's got 'em right where he wants 'em." He said to the doll. "'If you play your cards right, maybe you'll get your own alien hunting reality show.'" He said in a Mama's voice again.
"Oh, just like cousin fatback!" Finger said as he shot a bomb arrow into a tree. "Oooooh, doggy!" He exclaimed before the exploded.
Bigfoot kept crying while she ran through the woods, she wasn't looking where she was going and fell into a secure trap the Finger placed.
"How many years has Finger been chasing you? Well guess what? Mama says the chasings over; Bigfoot, you gonna make Mama and the Finger rich." The Finger said as he held Mama up.
"'I'm so proud of you the Finger.'" Mama said proudly.
"Aw, shucks mama." The Finger said to him as Donnie, Olly, Naomi, Ames, and Mikey snuck up and saw him holding her, they thought they tackled him to the ground but that set off another trap which got them knocked out by a wooden log.
"Puppies, too many puppies." Mikey muttered in his sleep before he woke up and saw that he and the others are tied up by ropes while the Finger paced around. "Guys, I just have the worst dream about-"
"We're not sympathetic right now, Mikey." Olly whispered harshly.
"The Finger has been debating whether to pickle us or stuff us." Donnie whispered.
"Ooh! Pickle! Pickle taste so good." Mikey said with a smile while the others sighed from his words.
"Not the kind of pickle you're thinking about, Mikey." Ames said with a tired tone.
Olly strained as he tried to break free, but couldn't as he glared at the Finger. "Alright, the Finger, we want answers! Why are you here, and how did you get on our island?!" He questioned. "Is it because you're hunting Bigfoot?!"
The Finger just laughed, "The Finger's been chasing after Bigfoot for years now. No man, beast, land or ocean can get between him and his prize!" He declared.
"You are one crazed person to just get a mythical creature's hide!" Ames exclaimed.
"Crazy enough to be the best hunter!" The Finger countered as he looked at the bag before he looked at his mama. "Ain't got no room for these five on the cart, Mama. Looks like the Finger will have to stuff them right here." He said while bringing out his knife, which made the five turtles nervous.
"At least we know he'll stuff us up." Naomi said nervously.
"I have an idea. Follow my lead." Donnie whispered before he turned to the Finger. "Hey, Finger! Your mama looks like a rasion!" He yelled, which got his attention.
"What'd he say about me, The Finger?" Mama asked as the Finger lifted her up.
"Uh... Your mama's so wrinkly, she looks like one of those little dogs With all the wrinkles." Mikey yelled next.
"A Sharpei?" The Finger questioned.
"Your mama's uh…" Naomi strted, trying to find the right words.
"Your mama's a shrunken head!" Olly finished with a glare, that did it as the Finger glare at them.
"Shut up!" The Finger yelled while lifting his mother's head.
"'Destroy them.'" Mama said as the Figner spun around and shot his crossbow, which the arrow cut through Donnie's rope and cut him free.
"Excellent work, Donatello!" Naomi congratulated, "Now free the rest of us."
"On it!" Donnie called as he blocked a knife with his staff an a few other before he used the knife on his staff to cut the others free as they grab their weapons and blocked them as Mikey threw his weapon at the Finger, who dodged them as he fired an explosive arrow, which they started dodging as they explode on contact.
"Explosive arrows?! Really?!" Ames questioned as they kept dodging. "Should've brought Tal with us!"
Donnie charged at the Finger before he whacked him back many times before the Finger caught his bowstaff and flipped Donnie to the ground. "The Finger got skills." He said while showing his extra pinkie before Mikey jumped up from behind and kicked the Finger back.
"Hah! Forest stealth!" Mikey cheered as the Finger got up, but Ames charged up from behind him before he grabbed her and tossed her to Mikey as the two fell to the ground.
Olly charged at the Finger, who is using a branch as a weapon as he clashed with him, but the Finger quickly pulled out another arrow and tossed it to the ground, which exploded on impact and send Olly flying and crashing into Naomi.
Donnie then charge at the Finger next as the two clashed weapons, but Donnie got the edge as he whacked the branch away before Donnie whacked him down. The Finger growled as he stood on his knees as Donnie kept hitting him, but the Finger stood up. "Oh, yeah! Oh, yeah! Oh, yeah brother! Oh, yeah!" He yelled, which made Donnie stop as the Finger turned to him with a rageful look while moving his extra pinkie.
Donnie gave a nervous look before the Finger grabbed him by the face before jumping high and crashing him to the ground. Donnie got dizzy from that as the Finger then doubled kicked him to a tree before ramming Donnie and flipping him to the ground. Mikey got onto his back as Ames, Naomi and Olly followed his example as they all started attack him relentless. But the Finger powered through it all as he tossed each of the turtles away and then grabbed Mikey and place his knee on where the sun doesn't shine when there was a nasty crack, which made Mikey to scream in pain as he jumped away and crashed into the tree.
Donnie looked up and saw the Finger jumping up and heading down towards him. "This is gonna hurt." He muttered fearfully before the Finger buttdropped on him, which completely knocked the wind out of Donnie as the Finger stood up.
"You can't beat the Finger! He's too strong for ya!" The Finger boasted while flexing his mucles.
"Hey, Finger!" Olly called as he held up one of the Finger's explosive arrows he managed to snag. "How many of those explosive arrows you got in that quiver?"
"47," The Finger answered before Olly threw the arrow at his quiver. At that moment, the Finger knew he screwed up. Then, one by one, his arrows went off as he hit the trees multiple times before he was sent up to the sky, where the arrows went off like fireworks before he fell on his back, which made a big explosion.
The Finger stood up with a groan, covered in soot as the five turtles glared down at him. Which he returned as he readied his crossbow. "If the Finger going down, he's taking Bigfoot with him!" HE called as he aimed his crossbow at the tied up Bigfoot.
Bigfoot got free from her trap as she poked her head out before the turtles grab the Finger, who looked at her in shock. "Bigfoot's a lady?! The Finger can't shoot lady!" The Finger said in regret which confused the turtles as he took out his mother's head. "The Finger's sorry mama, he didn't know! He would never hurt no lady!" Finger said to his doll and was on the verge of crying. until Bigfoot walked up and picked him up.
"There there, it am be okay." Bigfoot said assuringly.
"Huh?" Finger said in shock, looking at her; the two looked at each other for a moment until they… both fell in love and hugged each other while he kept crying.
"Bigfoot take care of sad man," Bigfoot said as she walked off carrying him while the five turtles looked at each other completely stunned.
"Well, there's something you don't see everyday," Olly muttered in shock.
"I suppose once he realized Bigfoot was a female, his morals took over," Naomi said in shock.
"He doesn't hurt ladies, but he hurt us?" Ames questioned while rubbing her chin. "Though to be honest, he just knocked me and Naomi aside when we attacked him while you boys took the most of it."
"Tell me about it," Mikey moaned while holding his crotch.
"Okay, at least those two are not enemies anymore," Olly said before giving a weird look. "In a weird lovey-gross kinda way."
"You think they'll be okay?" Donnie asked.
"From seeing how Bigfoot and the Finger fight, with them together, they do make one heck of a team," Olly said while reminding them of their skills. "And it looks like they're heading to the other side of the island. They'll probably won't be a bother to us,"
"Let's hope so." Naomi then gestured with her head in the direction, "Come, let us return home and tell the others that Bigfoot will be alright," She said as they nodded and headed back to the village, leaving Bigfoot and the Finger to their new life.
The next morning, Tal was looking through one of her books as Donnie approached her with the music box he made. He stopped for a moment, looking nervous before taking a breath and walking towards the periwinkle clad turtle again. "Uh, hey, Tal." He spoke, hiding the box behind his back.
Tal perked up as she turned and saw Donnie behind her. "Oh, hey, Donnie. I was wondering when you would get back. Leo and Casey told us that you, Mikey, Ames, Naomi, and Olly went after Bigfoot when they hurt her feelings." She said as she closed her book, "Father decided to give them some hard larbor until they learn the 'destructive power of words to the hearts', as he called it," She said with a chuckle.
"Heh, serves those two right," Donnie chuckled, "And don't worry, Bigfoot will be just fine now, she found a new friend," He added.
"That's great." Tal said with a smile. "At least now she won't be lonely. For a creature like her, it must've been hard to find someone she truly cares for."
"Yeah," Donnie said while looking away, "By the way, Tal there's something I'd like you to have."
"Really? You do?" Tal asked in surprise as Donnie nodded and pulled out the music box and placed it in her hands. She looked at it for a moment before crancking up the box before it opened up to show a picture of Donnie and playing a soft music. "A-A music box?" She asked stunned.
"Y-Yeah," Donnie said slowly. "I-uh, found it upshore and fixed it up. And I figured I wanted to give you something for helping me and being my friend. D-Do you like it?" He asked hopefully.
"W-Wow, Donnie. This is… This is the most beautiful thing anyone has ever given me." Tal said with a small smile.
"Y-Yeah. You're welcome." Donnie said with a blushing smile.
"But, why are you giving it to me and not April?" Tal asked in confusion, "I mean, I'm not complaining, but don't you have a crush on her?"
"Well, to be honest, I used to. But since coming here and that whole Big Foot in love with my thing, I've realized that some things are just not meant to be," Donnie admitted with a sheepish smile, "Donnie is to April what Bigfoot was to Donnie." He joked as Tal frowned in sympathy at him before his smile turned to one of acceptance, "As long as she's happy, then I'm happy,"
Tal looked at Donnie sympathetically; though she was jealous of April, she knew how much she meant to him, "Donnie, that's probably the bravest thing I've ever heard you do," She said with a smile as Donnie returned. She then frowned at him, "So, what are you going to do now?" She asked.
Donnie gave a small blush, "Well, I suppose it took me too long to realize the girl for me was right beside me the whole time," He said as Tal's eyes widened, "Now all I'm wondering is that, is Donnie to Tal what April was Donnie?" He asked with a nervous smile.
Tal was surprised by that as she gave a light blush and smiled softly as she closed her eyes for a moment before she put her music box down and walked up closer to Donnie. "You definitely are, Don." She said as she then leaned in and kissed Donnie on the lips, which stunned the purple masked turtled as Tal kept kissing him with one of her legs up before she broke the kiss leaving a stunt Donnie standing there with his eyes wide as white disks. "Works every time." She said with a small giggle and a huge blush as she picked up her music box. "I hope you know now that, I love you, Hamato Donatello." She said as he walked off while Donnie slowly reached out to her before touching his lips and slouching.
"I understand nothing," Donnie said, stunned, while still processing the kiss Tal gave him, but he knew how she felt to him, and he felt the same way as well to her as a new love between the two smart turtles had bloomed on the island.
