"Watch out!" IDW!Bunnie warned Antoine.

Grim Shadow did a Chaos blast to counter the sword, but Antoine got some future vision again: the next moment, he'd have been impaled by pure Chaos energy, which would disrupt the nanites and threaten his life. The coyote opted to dodge instead.

"It seems I have ze ability to... see the future." Antoine realized. "Ze future? What?"

"T'wan, watch out!" Archie!Bunnie evaded the telegraphed Chaos Control.

"We're outnumbered, but doing just fine!" Jones laughed at the unified army, while fending off some of the heavy-hitters.

Boom!Sticks is attacked by Savage, and her boomerang did little to help. Then the Avatar used the Cyan Laser mode straight to the wild one, stunning him.

"Thanks, custom player!" Boom!Sticks stepped back.

"Ah think the Hooligans of maine is vaguely aware of... these creatures. But Ah'm the most knowledgable af the bunch, and it shows..." IDW!Bunnie watching the Wisps hindering the Shadow variants.

"So you can use Wispons, after all. Have you tried doing so yet?" Boom!Sonic asked IDW!Bunnie. "Don't be scared. They trust you now."

"Uh, thanks." IDW!Bunnie catches a Red Wisp. "So..." *mech-hand morphs to accomodate the Red Burst* "Woah, this is..."

"You just created a Wispon by your own machinery!" Tails explained while fending off Shad. "You can house one Wisp per artificial limb!"

IDW!Bunnie's left hand has become the integrated Burst Wispon. She tried it out by shooting flames on Grim Shadow, much to its annoyance. Then she bounced, using the Burst to propel her upwards... which accidentally knocked a cage down.

"Whoops." IDW!Bunnie landed down, having winded down.

"Pragmatic bitch, I suppose." Grim Shadow attempted to Chaos Control the rebooted rabbit.

"You don't have to worry about ammo again, at least not as far as the Hyper-go-on's concerned. You only reload when your normal bullets run out-" Tails is then ambushed by Savage.

"Blood... blood!" Savage attempted to tear the cybernetics off tails, but IDW!Bunnie managed to switch to Cyan Laser in time and shoot.

"Good." IDW!Bunnie jumped, and absorbed an Yellow Wisp on her right leg. "Rabbot Drill Kick!"

A drop kick with Yellow Drill, manages to actually hurt Savage.

"Argh!" Savage is knocked down.

"Infinite Mass... Spin Dash Blast!" Sonic and Mega Man coordinated, knocking Jones down.

"Got it!" Volnutt took a Void Wispon, attracting a Violet Wisp. "Eat... this!"

Cue a mini-black-hole drawing Shad, who used his cybernetically-enhanced Chaos Control to escape. This was a bait, however, by the Knuckles and Knuckles guys, who all proceeded to beat down.

"Enough!" Grim Shadow stepped back.

Habaki pointed his sword at the Grim robot, while the other three fled. However, the four noticed a cage, and snatched it. However, Sonic blitzed in, knocking the cage off and stunning the four variants.

"What are you doing!?" Sonic prepared Spin Dash.

"Fuck you!" Jones spitefully stowed his sword.

The variants teleported out for safety, leaving all and the cage. Sonic used vibrating Excalibur to break the lock, unlocking the cage.

"Ugh..." Another coyote. "Where am I?"

"Wait... zat's my voice!" Antoine recognized the voice.

"T'wan?" The two rabbits squinted.

A rebooted Antoine D'Coolette emerged from the cage. He doesn't have any trace of nanomachine at all, and is even mostly naked.

"What!? Ano'zer me!?" Antoine is shocked.

"Wait... Antoine!?" Sally is shocked. "Now there's two of them!?"

"Wait... what?" The rebooted Antoine is confused. "What ze hell?"

Antoine patted his rebooted self, which triggered return of the pre-SGW memories... again. This time, he's even more horrified, because the aftermath was also remembered onto among all that: he has gained memories of the altered Super Genesis Wave moment, which technically spared him of its original effects.

"Was I rebooted... NO WAY!" Re!Antoine screamed in horror.

In the meantime...

"Ugh..." A vampire with spiked white ponytail woke up. "This..."

He and his sister has black sclerae

"Tenma Kassenka. Welcome to Shatter Empire." Elise brought the vamp and his sister from the test tube. "You too... Tenma Kessenka."/"あなたもだよ、天魔・血染花"

The two is led by Elise to a team with black sclerae.

"Tenma Muramasa. Tenma 'Mirage' Marici, Tenma Kassenka, Tenma Kessenka, Tenma Onmyodo, and Shura..." Sally scanning the team. "Oh crap! They're all modded and brainwashed!"

"Shin Yatsukahagi..." Elise commanded the team. "Kill the resistance."

Suddenly, the variants came back, and reported the interference. At the same time, the unified moves to the 25th floor.

"190 meters in." Sonic rushed across the hallway.

"You know, it's a while since you existed." Boom!Sticks commented at Archie Sonic's cancellation. "How are Cortez doing?"

"What's going on?" Re!Antoine shrugged. "What happened to zis world?"

"Let me tell you all." Eggman flying his cockpit. "Some version of Sonic from the Shatterspaces were born from the shattering, only to be absorbed by the one broke Paradox Prism, effectively erased from existence. Then after the Prism's fixed, that Sonic almost faded away, which would've returned the variants, but his Shadow and the Roses brought him back, and then the Prism got out, thus denying the variants. That, until after the Infinite and Metal from another timeline got defeated, their overclocked Ruby crossed through the timeline and reacted with the Prism through pure negative Chaos energy, bring out the mysterious... fusion and shattered that Shadow. That probable fusion assimilated the Chaos Council, and went on rampage through the multiverse before unleashing the Hyper Genesis Wave to crush all down into a single, unified world."

"What!?" Re!Antoine is shocked.

"Sorry, rebooted." Antoine affirmed. "The Hyper Genesis Wave not only crushed all our worlds into one, it also plucked in stuffs from other multiverses! According to some AI child."

"It's completely correct." Sage confirmed.

"They... destroyed our world... all ze worlds!?" Re!Antoine gasped.

"Yes, but we can take all back." Mega Man doing the Speed Gear. "We have to kill the monstrous hedgehog and undo all the damage he and his empire have done."

"Of course!" Sonic led the way.

"Wait... you again!? Wow!" Re!Antoine recognized Mega Man and X and co. "Oh! Oh! Oh! I didn't zink I'd work wiz you all again! Finally!"

"So you allied with us alongside the unified army like this before." X recalled. "Good to have you around."

"Oh, T'wan? These guys really are... bit familiar." Archie!Bunnie commented.

"I knew I'd recognize you from the comics." Sonic smirked. "Go go go!"

The unified army arrived at the gateway to the 26th floor. Sonic phased in, and knocked a Gemerl copy down. This time, instead of destroying it outright, Sonic simply went auth.

"Uh... oh, a Gemerl copy guarding this." Ghost Shadow through the hacked copy pointed at that one Sonic just knocked down.

"Let us handle this." Zor used his innate technopathy to stall the hostile one, allowing all the Tailses to deactivate it.

"Ah!" Mangey roared, as he was able to turn the robot into a metal doll for now.

"This'll be useful later down the line." Sails capped the robot. "Anyone?"

"Machina?" The Tai-Aztiluth looked at Ootake/Machina

-*awkward silence* The ex-Nigredo looked at his fist.

"Nope. My hand would just erase the robot!" He rejected.

"Fine. I'll stow it." Robotnik hooked the inactive Gemerl copy.

The unified army arrives at the 26th floor, and there's a lot of test tubes around, filled with unimportant characters and variants experimented in.

"Huh? Null?" Re!Antoine stopped to see one such creature, dark-purple in color, and similar to Mephiles the Dark in Shadow form. Its name was Null.

"I don't recognize it." Sonic rejected. "Moving on."

The unified army rushes past the tubes, and it'd be a while until... this tube: this one contains Chris Thorndyke as a child.

"What!?" Sonic is shocked. "He has a similar hairstyle to that Christopher guy some of us fought a few days ago!"

"Chris Thorndyke!? Again!?" Tails is shocked.

Heck, the test tube even showed the name 'Christopher Thorndyke' in it.

"Was the one you killed... a clone of this boy!?" Knuckles gets suspicious.

"It doesn't matter, because this is still so messed up!" Sonic is disgusted.

"Yeah..." Amy covered Classic Sonic's eyes. "They would hurt a child in any way they wish!"

The army moves on, but Ariem's still languishing.

"Dreamweaver... you'll be mine." Nightmare Rose repurposing the ritual with the help of Miles. "You're gonna kill all the resistance. They've gotten away for way too long."

"Almost done." Miles setup the machine. "The Guardian Hunter will be fused into one pure nightmare."

The machine is set, and the ritual starts. The Phantom Ruby effects unleashed to the machine, and Ariem got electrocuted.

"Urgh... AAARGH!"

The Dreamweaver mutated to violently spawn the entire Guardian Hunter on her back, with her own now-cybernetic body attaching into its front, and covered in a literal, corrupted fluid Nightmare Fuel, named Magination. And she, having become a monster, roared a screeching roar.

"Behold! The Nightmare Apostasis!" Nightmare Rose let out an evil laughter.

"Finally! The Dreamweaver is ours!" Miles followed with a mad laugh.

"This is what the Dreamweaver gets for not properly protecting the Reverie: becoming a monster." The hedgehog smirked. "What did you call it, Amy?"

"Nightmare Apostasis." Nightmare Rose presented mutated Ariem. "Simple. Terror. Absolute perfection."

"Alright... I finally have time to fix the two robots!" Miles left. "Good luck. I'm going downstairs."

"You succeeded where Eggman failed. Taking over this bitch." The hedgehog congratulated his Amy. "Amy, you did a good job improvising the sacrifice. You've just saved us a bunch of fixtures."

"Sonic, we can remotely brutalizes everyone in Cyber Dream by having this creature attack oppositions there. And if one die there, their body in waking world gets exploded into gibs, just like my killing allows." Nightmare Rose giggles. "I love the carnage. I love my own carnage. I love it, just as you do."

"Alright, get the creature working, in both waking world and dreams." The hedgehog clapped.

The army went to the 27th floor, and found even more test tubes.

"Let me guess... The top floor is 33rd. That's where the throne room is in." Sonic recalled. "We're in the 27th floor now. I think some important stuffs happen from floor 30 and beyond."

"So only few tens of metres away and we're on critical territory." Knuckles then stopped for two tubes. "Hey, look!"

It's Mighty the Armadillo and Ray the Flying Squirrel. Classic Sonic could clearly recognize them.

"Little guy, can we-" Mega Man then saw a Spin Dash.

Classic Sonic broke the two tubes, freeing the two Classic friends.

"Mighty... Ray... poor both..." Classic Amy hugged the two.

"I'm sorry to get that. It's so horrible." Sonic looked back.

Classic Chaotix helped with the two, and everyone moved on.

"Grrrrr..." Ariem the Nightmare Apostasis.

"Hello, Dreamweaver. You've finally obeyed us. That's a first step." Shad commented. "Cool."

"Now scour through and get killing!" Jones commanded.

The creature roared, and parallels in both the states.

"Ok, Apostasis go. As for you, Shadow..." The hedgehog came to Team Shadow. "Let's check those Hegemonic duds."

The Hegemony Gods is slowly succumbing to the Metal Virus, only able to drive it into remission and burn it off through their sheer power and Law, and even then now the infection has evolved, which just led to relapses.

"Too much variables destroying me from the inside..." Nerose Satanael is too tired to stand up. "This is even worse than... Mercury..."

"I outwitted you, and unleashed the perfected Metal Virus. That and the Phantom Ruby allowed it to infect you." The hedgehog explained how he was able to infect the gods. "This proves that not even gods are truly immune to the Metal Virus."

"Impossible! I'm a god..." Hajun is in disbelief. "How could you bugs make me rot...!"

"Well, guess what? I'm a god too!" The hedgehog laughed at the Evil One. "I gained the powers and Eggmen's intellect, and used both and my own mind to great effect. I was able to perfect the Metal Virus, and outwit you so you gets infected!"

"You... you alien... AAARGH!" Mithra Paramatman relapsed, her full body and godly attire being almost completely covered in literal metal.

"Holy crap!" Magsarion is disgusted. "How did you..."

The Remorseless tried to attack the hedgehog, but just as he took advantage of his Commandments, he relapsed, and collapses down to the ground.

"Your sinful substance... you're an evil creature, bleeding into pure white of salt... corrupting all that exists." Nerose Satanael called the hedgehog out.

"Ha! That's what you get for underestimating me!" The hedgehog mocked Satanael while kicking Magsarion off. "Look at your pioneer. She's converted, and ready to turn!"

"Sakurai... Kai... Anna... Liza... Shirou... Beatrice... Michael... Theresia... Ellie..." Ren Fuji groaned. "Where are you...? Please help us... Please-" *relapses* "AAARGH!"

Marguerite Breuil cried, but her tears are just... oil, showing how close the Hegemony Gods are to succumbing now. Then she relapsed as well, screaming in horror. Meanwhile, Mitra yelled out one last time, before her face dropped down: her body completely covered in metal, now pure ceramic white, and her biology filled with magical nanomachine.

"Yes! One down!" The hedgehog let out an evil laughter, much to the remaining Hegemonies' horror.

Mitra has succumbed to Metal Virus. Emotionless, her gloss-metal body jerked a little, and then her face moved up, revealing glowing sclerae: red on the left, blue on the right, now line-only irises. Even Magsarion, who absolutely hate her for her rule as First Heaven (Ahura Mazda), is horrified at the sight, especially as he's the next in line. He screamed in terror that the gods just got in, while the evil hedgehog kept laughing.

"Father... Mom..." Hirume sobs. "Help me..."

The Remorseless ended up echoing throughout the 32nd floor, and can be heard by Sally and Nicole.
