Finally Izzy had what he wanted, his old captain back. Ed, now Blackbeard once again, no longer the namby pamby Stede Bonnet had turned him into. How was he to know that his wish would turn so sour? (Also the story takes place after the events of season 1, it also contains snippets from early season 2)

Or the one where Ed ends up in Stede's hometown and finds out that Stede apparently died while he was depressed at sea, suffering from his broken heart, and he goes to the Bonnet estate only to find that Mary has moved on quite quickly and he's not sure if he's okay with that.

There's no wind, the Revenge's not moving, the crew's bored and want a story. Since both co-captains are busy, the crew turns to Oluwande. Oluwande doesn't see anything wrong with that, except that Jim is in all his stories and Jim doesn't want to hear about the past, when they were someone else, before they understood who they were.

The sea is calm and Ed is waiting for Stede to leave with him, far from piracy, far from the past. Except that Stede doesn't arrive, except that Ed's unlovable, except that it is written that he'll never have anything beautiful and nice in his life. And yet he waits, trying to convince himself that Stede will come and that for once, everything will be fine.
