After leaving the Hokage's office, Kakashi began slowly walking towards Mebuki's tea shop. He knew Inoichi wasn't going to be finished until at least the end of the day, and the last thing he needed to do while he was still laid up with injuries was to focus on something he could do nothing about at the moment. In the back of his mind, behind all the dark and worrying thoughts, he'd also been thinking about his conversation with Gai earlier in the morning and the more he thought on it, the more he realized that he did want to at least take Sakura to see the place he'd called home in his early years.
For a long time, he'd felt angry every time he'd thought about going back there. Memories of seeing his father's body, slumped over his sword and the light gone from his eyes had haunted him for years. And then there were all those years after the tragedy; every day after class, he'd come home to an empty shell of a house that had lost its warmth. So the day he'd turned twenty-one he had finally left, bringing nothing with him but a single photo of his first team and the clothes on his back.
When he thought of that old house now though, he couldn't help but feel his lips turning up into a smile. He could almost close his eyes and see Sakura sitting next to the tree in front of the house that bloomed pretty pink flowers during the cold months, a notebook or medical text in her lap. He wondered what she'd think of the old stone wall that bordered the entire property. Kakashi was still thinking about it when he walked into the shop, the small bell alerting Mebuki to his presence. She grinned at him, giving him a small wave.
"Kakashi-sama," she greeted him warmly. "Sakura is just out to the grocery store. She'll be back soon. Would you like some tea while we wait for her to return?"
Kakashi nodded and she set about the ritual; first putting the water on to boil, then gathering two pretty teacups from the upper cabinet. She carded through the drawer and finally pulled out a box of the tea she'd been after and began preparing it in the cups. When the kettle was whistling, she placed it on the tray with the cups and carried them over to the table he'd sat down at.
Mebuki said nothing as she poured the water over the tea, so Kakashi decided to be the first to break the silence, saying with a small smile, "How is Hizashi doing?"
"He's doing well," the woman answered him, returning his smile. "Lady Tsunade has been kind in keeping his missions short and safe, comparatively speaking," she glanced at the bandages that still covered his throat, arching her eyebrow as she continued, "Sakura told me about your little escape from the hospital when you first got back."
Kakashi gave her one of his best crinkle-eyed smiles and spoke carefully, seeing the landmines in Mebuki's dark green eyes. "At the time, I genuinely thought-"
For the first time since he'd become acquainted with her, Mebuki cut him off, her voice as sharp as her eyes, "I do not care what you thought, Kakashi-sama. I care only about my daughter. Do you recall our conversation the last time you and I spoke?"
Kakashi's grip on his teacup tightened, not daring to divert his gaze from Sakura's mother's as he took a sip of the tea. "Of course."
Her eyes narrowed, her words crisp, "Perhaps I wasn't clear enough then; please forgive me. What I was hoping you would take from that conversation is, quite simply, this," her voice became an octave deeper, "I will not see my daughter suffer like she did over that boy ever again. Do we have an understanding?"
Kakashi was thankful for the excuse of having a mouthful of tea to disguise his gulp as he nodded, setting the porcelain cup down on the table. "Yes, Mebuki-san," he answered in a tone much more confident than he felt. And in an instant, the fierce rage was gone from her eyes, a humble smile and crinkled eyes of her own as she patted his hand affectionately.
"I'm glad for that," she told him, looking up as the door chimed again. As Sakura walked in with an armful of groceries, she hurried to her feet and went to help, a grin on her face. "Were you able to find good daikon? It's been awful the last few times."
"I got some at the farmer's market. That's what took so long," Sakura told her mother, setting the bags down on an empty table before arching her eyebrow when she saw Kakashi sitting at the table. "I didn't know you were coming by."
Kakashi shrugged, finishing his tea as he moved to his feet. "I thought it would be nice to come visit your mother today."
"Chichi-san, would you like Kakashi and I to carry those upstairs for you?" Sakura asked her mother as Mebuki moved towards the bags, tucking the straps over her arms. The woman clicked, shaking her head with a gentle smile.
"No, no; it's good exercise for me," she told her daughter. "Would you mind the shop for a few minutes while I'm putting everything away?"
"Of course," Sakura told her mother, moving to stand behind the register. Kakashi walked ahead of Mebuki to the door, holding it open for her before he stepped back into the shop, his eyes on Sakura. She was tidying up the counter, a few strands falling loose from the braid she'd put her hair into that morning. A stray beam of sunlight streaking across the room lit up her face and he studied her for a moment, taking in the shadows under her eyes and the way her cheekbones looked more taut than normal. He frowned, eyes moving down her frame and seeing how her dress hung more loosely than a few weeks prior. He could see Mebuki's cause for alarm in an instant, and he crossed his arms over his chest, leaning against the wall.
"You're not sleeping."
The firm tone of his voice shook Sakura, and she blinked before lifting her head to meet his gaze. When he saw how tired she looked, it made him angry with himself that he'd been so preoccupied with a mess he couldn't even begin to deal with to notice how little she'd been taking care of herself since he'd gotten hurt.
"I try, Kakashi," she answered, her voice as small as she looked. "I try every night but then I wake up screaming because all I see when I close my eyes is your bloody, broken body."
He crossed the shop in a matter of seconds, pulling her into his arms the second he saw the tears welling up. His hand buried itself in her hair; his arm tightly holding her waist so that she could feel the solidness of him, hoping it would ease some of her pain.
"I'm right here, Sakura," he whispered into her ear, using the hand in her hair to quickly tug his mask down so he could press his lips to her skin. Her fingers found his hair and neck, pulling him as close as she could get as sobs wracked her body.
"But w-what about t-tonight, Kakashi?" She stammered out between sobs, her fingers digging into his scalp and the flesh of his nape.
"I'll figure something out, tenshi," he promised her, bringing his lips to her forehead. "I want you to come somewhere with me today."
"I'm not up for an adventure," she mumbled against his chest. He chuckled, running the hand in her hair down her back, rubbing circles against her spine.
"Not an adventure. It's a forty minute walk from the gate, and I think it'll make you feel better," he told her gently, tucking some hair behind her ear as he tilted her chin up. "Will you come?"
"I suppose a walk with you isn't so bad," she murmured, feeling a smile tugging at the corners of her lips. "Will you tell me where we're going?"
He shook his head, taking a respectable step back from her just as Mebuki re-entered the shop, arms free of groceries and a hum on her lips. If she saw Sakura's tear-streaked face and blotchy cheeks, she said nothing as she went about assisting a guest who had walked in right behind her.
"Tell her you'll be back tomorrow," Kakashi murmured under his breath to Sakura with a small smile, discreetly brushing his fingers against hers behind the counter and away from her mother's view.
Sakura arched her eyebrow, but did just that and the two of them left the shop as Mebuki wished them a good day. Once they were outside and around the corner of the building, Sakura stopped him, arching her eyebrow at him.
"I thought you said no adventures."
"It's not an adventure," he held his hands up, eye crinkled. "I have an idea, though, and you need to sleep tonight. Go grab your overnight bag. I'll wait here."
She gave him another suspicious look but made her way up the stairs to the loft anyway, disappearing for only a few minutes before she returned with a standard issue canvas bag he'd given to all three of his students upon their first overnight mission.
"What about you?" She asked him with a frown. "Yours was in your apartment."
"That's what yours is for," he gave her a cheeky grin as he said it, jumping out of the way as she swatted at his shoulder. He nodded his head towards the village gates, grabbing her hand in his. "If we leave now, we'll make it just in time for some lunch."
They walked hand in hand, winding their way through the residential district of Konoha. Kakashi no longer cared about keeping their relationship - their partnership - hidden from view. The Hokage herself knew; and so far as Kakashi was aware, she'd done nothing to suggest she disproved. With Gai and her mother both in the loop, he saw no reason not to hold her hand. The way she blushed as he did so, her pale cheeks turned the lightest shade of pink, her eyes dancing in the late summer sunlight far outweighed any judgmental looks he may have noticed from passersby as they lazily strolled along.
He dropped her hand only once they were approaching the gatehouse, seeing Kotetsu and Izumo in their usual spots. He may not be hiding it anymore, but he knew the pair were two of the biggest gossips in Konoha next to Sakura's loudmouthed classmate, Yamanaka Ino and he was sure neither ne nor Sakura wanted that kind of attention.
"Kakashi," Kotetsu greeted him with a smile. "Where are you headed today?"
"Outskirts of the village," Kakashi answered him vaguely, signing their names and destination into the book Kotetsu arched his eyebrow, but nodded with a small smile as he glanced Sakura over while the silver-haired man continued, "We'll be gone until tomorrow sometime. You know where to find us if the Hokage needs one of us."
Kotetsu gave Izumo a look and Kakashi rolled his eyes, dropping the pencil onto the counter before he turned and faced Sakura, who hadn't managed to make eye contact with either of the guards, much to their amusement.
Sakura followed Kakashi out of the gates, neither of them saying a word nor reaching for one another until they were well away. After about five minutes, he grabbed her hand in his, threading their fingers together as he led her down a secondary path that she'd never taken before.
She didn't say a word as they walked, finding herself completely enamored with the scenery. They'd only just left the main road, but she felt as though they'd walked into a completely different world; one where it was just the two of them in a lush, unpopulated jungle. Huge trees marked the sides of the uneven path; grass overtaking the dirt in enough spots that Sakura knew no one had been here in quite some time. Ivy hung down from the branches, snaking its way enchantingly around the dense foliage in a canopy dappled with golden rays of sunlight broken up by the dancing leaves above them, making the ground move as though it were alive and leading them to a magical place.
"This is amazing," she found herself murmuring under her breath, earning a small chuckle from Kakashi as he took a sharp turn in the path, his arm supporting her weight as she stumbled at the difference in terrain while he seamlessly glided along, not letting her fall. She could hear running water in the distance, a perfect white noise that blended seamlessly with the orchestra of crickets, birdsong and gentle breeze that accompanied it.
The water came in to view after a few more minutes and Sakura stopped in her tracks, awestruck. A magnificent river rushed alongside her; rapids roaring wildly against huge boulders that marked the water's edge. Where the turbulent water had eroded away holes into the stone, the wind whistled through in high-pitched tones. On the other side of the river, huge trees reached skyward, their leaves just beginning to turn the most vibrant shades of yellow, orange and red that she had ever seen before.
"This is the river that feeds Konoha's stream," Kakashi explained to her quietly, his own eyes watching the natural beauty in admiration. "Within the next couple of days, in fact, the salmon are going to start jumping upstream. You'll be able to see it where we're going, too."
He gently tugged on her hand, pulling her along the path. The scenery didn't get any less impressive the longer they walked. She could no longer tell where Konoha lay in relation to their current location, though he assured her they would be no further than a mile and a half out from the village wall.
They reached a small clearing in the woods about twenty minutes later, his chest blocking her view so that she couldn't quite tell where he'd brought her. "This is somewhere I haven't ever brought anyone before, Sakura," he murmured against her forehead. She heard the shakiness in his breath and reached for his hands, giving them a gentle squeeze as he continued, "Welcome to my childhood home."
Sakura's breath hitched in her throat as he stepped to the side, allowing her to take in the scene in front of her without saying another word. About sixty feet in front of her stood an old wooden house with a steep, thatched roof that had seen far better days. The front of the building was completely overtaken by a thicket of grass as tall as her and wild bushes filled with large, juicy berries. On the edge of the woods and about fifty feet to the right of the main house stood another proud old building with a matching roof that looked as though it may have been a barn at one point. Moving her eyes forward, she could see an old stone wall with a break in the center where there had been a path in years past.
"That tree in front blooms in winter," Kakashi's voice spoke softly, his eyes gazing upon the property, his mask keeping his expression guarded from Sakura.
"It's..." She didn't know quite how to summarize what her thoughts were. She gripped Kakashi's hands, meeting his gaze with wide eyes. "I've never seen something so you before," she whispered, one hand reaching up to tug his mask down. He let her, leaning down to brush his lips across hers because he didn't know how to respond to her observation.
He led her closer to the property, using his foot to check for snakes methodically as he found the old path. A memory of holding his father's hand in what seemed like another life flashed in his mind as he led her past the stone wall, past the house and down behind it.
"When I was a kid, I used to sit out here and watch the salmon jump upstream," he told her, nodding to the fast-moving river that lay on the border of the empty expanse of land. "And the fireflies light this place up at night in the summer."
"I love it," Sakura murmured to him, letting her head fall against his shoulder, an arm snaking around his waist. "I really love it, Kakashi."
"So...You wouldn't mind visiting me here often, then," he spoke slowly. Her head tilted up, eyes meeting his. He added, "With the apartment gone, I figure it's the perfect time to start fixing this place up. The pack would love it, don't you think?"
"There's a lot of room for them here," she agreed, her face scrunching up as she questioned, "Where do they stay normally?"
Kakashi chuckled, leaning down to capture her lips in a sweet kiss before he answered, "It's hard to explain. Summons of all kinds have their own domains, if you want to put it like that. But it would be nice to have them around more, and no apartment in Konoha can accommodate eight active ninken."
"I think it's a great idea," she told him airily, moving her hand to his side. Kakashi's breath hitched in his throat and she giggled, though he could tell he was far from amused by the mischievous glint in her eye. Before she could carry on with whatever plan she had in mind, the shinobi reached down, gripping her wrist firmly in his.
"Not just yet," he spoke through a throaty growl, pulling the straps of her bag off her back. "We need to set up a campsite first. I'll cut down the grass, you go gather some firewood."
Sakura pouted, leaning in to kiss him again but finally walking off to the edge of the treeline to gather enough branches to keep a fire stoked through the night. Kakashi made quick work of the grass, clearing a decent-sized spot, making sure to dig a pit and line it with stone for the fire they'd build later on. Within an hour, she had piled up the wood and he'd laid out her sleeping roll so that they'd both be able to lay on it. She walked up to him, a streak of dirt on her cheek and her hair a mess as her eyes shined up at him, a sexy smirk on her lips.
"Now?"
Her hands were already on him, her fingers tugging at his shirt. He tsk-tsk'd her, gently removing her hands. "So needy," he spoke in a teasing tone as he turned his back to her and began making a his way to the river, tossing her a taunting look over his shoulder. "Now, lunch. I'm starving."
He laughed as she moved quickly behind him, dodging her playful attempt to tackle him and countering it by catching her foot with his ankle, his arm shooting out and catching her before she could fall. He took advantage of her awkward position, leaning down to capture her mouth in a dominant kiss, his teeth scraping along her bottom lip before nipping down as he pulled away, leaving her breathless.
"Lunch, Sakura," he smirked at her. He stopped at the edge of the river, turning to face her with a wolfish grin that left her knees feeling weak and her heart in her throat. She stood a few feet from him, watching as his long, lean fingers ghosted down his abdomen, tugging the shirt up just enough so that his fingers could slowly work the button to his pants. Her pupils dilated, breath shaky as he unsnapped the button with an inaudible click before deftly tucking his fingers into the sides, tugging them down to his thighs before he allowed them to drop with a soft thud on the ground.
He slipped out of his sandals, his grey eye never leaving her own half-lidded green ones as he pulled the shirt up and over his head, tossing it to land at her feet. He was now standing in front of her in just his boxers and that ridiculously sexy smirk on his face as he nimbly stepped back into the river, focusing his chakra to the soles of his feet to keep himself grounded in the powerful water.
Sakura couldn't take her eyes off of Kakashi as he turned his attention to the river, his hitae-ate lifted now and both of his eyes completely focused on the river; arms held in such a position that she was given a perfect opportunity to study in close detail the corded muscles of his upper arms, wet now and glistening in the speckled sunlight. His lower arms were no less impressive; lean, strong and supporting his large hands and their dexterous, long fingers, the bones in them defined by the tight skin covering them.
At last he moved, his hands faster than her eyes could comprehend. He lifted one hand triumphantly, a large and flailing fish caught in his grasp. He tossed it onto the grass before readying his stance again, waiting several minutes before he caught another one and waded back to land, grabbing the first fish and walking past her back to the clearing.
She cleaned the fish as he prepared the fire, choosing to use flint and kindling to start it as opposed to jutsu. Soon, the fire was large enough that it would cook his catch, and he prepared a rotisserie spit. As it began to cook, Kakashi sat back at last, pulling Sakura close to him.
"Now?" She whispered, pressing her lips to his bicep, eyes glancing up at him through her lashes. He chuckled, letting his fingers play with the hem of her dress and ghost across her thigh. Sakura closed her eyes, biting back a moan when he trailed them further underneath the skirt of the dress.
"The fish will burn," he shook his head with a taunting smirk, keeping his eyes focused on the fire. He reached up to turn them a little, as if to prove his point and she grumbled something he couldn't quite make out against his skin.
"What was that?" He asked her, trailing his hand up now, under her the waist of her dress and across the plain of her stomach. She scowled, then pouted and shoved his shoulder weakly, her face turning pink in what looked to be a combination of frustration and embarrassment.
"I-" she squeaked before turning to hide her face against his shoulder, mumbling, "Nothing, Kakashi. Just cook the damn fish."
He let out a laugh, the sound of it hearty and full. It drew a smile out of the flustered Sakura, who squirmed as his fingers dipped below the hem of her shorts. With the self-control of someone much stronger than himself, Kakashi managed to keep his eyes focused on the meal cooking in front of them. When she noticed the slight bulge in his boxers, Sakura smirked.
Two could play this game.
She let his fingers lazily trail across her skin, drawing small sounds from her that caused the flicker of arousal in the pit of her stomach that had been steadily building to finally ignite, his core tightening as Sakura leaned up and onto her knees before reaching across the clearing for the canvas bag that was just out of reach. As she did so, Kakashi abandoned focus, turning his attention fully to Sakura. Her chest was pressed to the ground, ass high up in the air with a wet spot marking her arousal and her knees parted just wide enough that he knew exactly what she was doing.
"Oops," she giggled innocently, turning to give him a coy look. "I can't reach the bag like this."
Kakashi's eyes followed her every move as she caterpillar-crawled to the bag, his cock now completely hardened and his grey eye black with arousal. Once she had the bag in hand, she moved to sit, sliding across the grass and nestling back against his side.
"The fish," her voice pulled him out of his thoughts, and he swallowed hard as he turned back to the fire, reaching to rotate the fish one last time. When he felt her fingers on his knee, he couldn't suppress a groan and she leaned in, pressing her lips to his neck.
"Sakura," his voice was raspy, fingers shaky as they gripped her wrist to prevent her from wandering any further. He cleared his throat, closing his eye to regain his composure before he said as much to himself as her, "Patience."
The fish was finished cooking a few minutes later, and he pulled them off the spit, placing them onto a plate she'd pulled out of the bag. She handed him a utility knife from her leg pouch and he portioned out the meal, setting an equal amount onto a second plate. She contributed half an orange to each plate that she'd grabbed on her way out of the loft and he chuckled, placing the half she'd given him onto her plate instead.
"Too sweet," he told her with a small smile, leaning in to press his lips against her forehead. "You're the only dessert I've ever developed a taste for, Sakura."
She blushed at his words, taking her plate and sitting next to them, her eyes cast down at the food. He reached up, brushing some hair away from her face before turning his attention to his food, taking some chopsticks he saw sticking out of the top of the bag. She used her fingers, picking at the fish but not really eating it until Kakashi gave her a stern look over a bite of food he was holding up to her mouth.
"You need to eat," he told her, eyes meeting hers. She opened her mouth, letting her lips close around the morsel offered. He slid the chopsticks out of her mouth and she chewed slowly before letting the food slide down her throat as she swallowed. To further satisfy him, she reached down for a bite of her own food and repeated the motion.
She ate the rest of her food slowly, Kakashi no longer watching as he occupied himself with his own meal. Once both plates were empty, he stood and walked over to the stream, cleaning them off before returning to sit next to her, one arm around her shoulders and the other propping his weight up, the grass soft beneath his splayed hand.
Her fingers found his and she laced them together, her head resting against his arm. They sat like that for awhile, listening to the birdsong that filled the forest around them and the rushing water from the river in the distance. She turned her face, pressing her lips against his warm skin in an open-mouthed kiss. Kakashi glanced down, his breath hitching in his throat when he saw her looking up at him, her green eyes looking like orbs of translucent sea glass, swirling with a desire that stirred his loins.
"Now?" Her whisper was barely audible against his skin as she squeezed his fingers beneath her own. Kakashi stared down at her, shifting so that his hand was supporting her back as he hovered over her, a knee on each side of her thighs so that he was almost straddling her. Her hair fanned out around her head like a pink halo as she lay on the plush grass, her eyes blinking once slowly as a lazy smile tugged at her lips. He leaned down, capturing them in a slow, tender kiss. He lifted a hand to her cheek, sucking her bottom lip between his and taking his time in doing so. He didn't want to rush a moment of this; neither did Sakura as she slid her hands up his arms, stopping at his biceps and curling her fingers around the firm muscle she found there.
"Now," Kakashi agreed at last, breaking the kiss as he brushed his lips down her neck, his tongue darting out here and there. She let out a series of soft sounds, her body arching up against his as he left a small love mark just below the hollow of her throat. Her fingers tightened and he moved on, trailing his tongue along her clavicle until he reached the top of her shoulder, where he left another bruising kiss.
Sakura sighed, lifting one leg and wrapping it over the back of his, her left hand abandoning his bicep in favor of moving to his nape. He shivered as her fingertips gently scraped up his scalp and she pulled him closer. The rumble in his throat caused the pit of her stomach to clench, and she let out a breathy sigh when he retraced his path until he was back at her mouth, his tongue pushing past her lips and intertwining with her own; not in dominance, but in a desperate attempt to become as close to her as possible.
The kiss broke with both of them gasping for air; her fingers still tangled in his mess of silver while he traveled the expanse of both of her arms with his calloused hands, his fingertips leaving her craving more, all, of him. Against the corner of her mouth, he whispered, "I love you."
She smiled sweetly up at him, moving her hand to the side of his face when she saw the flicker of vulnerability on his bare face. She leaned up, pressing her forehead to his and moving her hand to the back of his neck, holding him close as she murmured back, "I'm so in love with you that it almost hurts, Kakashi."
Kakashi closed his eye and neither of them said anything as they sat there like that for a moment; his hands both holding her back securely while she cradled his face with her hands. Her fingers were so soft compared to his weathered skin, and he let out a soft sigh of his own as she kissed her way down the scar that bisected his eye. Her lips were tender and gentle and with each soft kiss she left an unsaid message he got loud and clear.
At the top of the scar;
I love you, Kakashi.
A kiss on his scarred eyelid;
I love every part of you.
At the bottom of the scar;
Even the parts you call damaged.
Tears pricked the corner of his eye and she kissed those away too, the softness in her touch overwhelming to Kakashi. His heart was beating rapidly and his lungs felt collapsed in his chest as he clung to her, his body trembling against hers as he attempted to soak every bit of love she had to offer him into himself.
He laid her back down on the grass, his mouth quickly picking back up where he'd left off; the top of her shoulder. He kissed the mark he'd left moments before and then grazed his lips down the inside of her arm to the crook of her elbow. He took her hand in one of his, using the other to support his weight above her as he kissed down her forearm and to the inside of her wrist, letting his lips linger there for a moment as his eyes met hers.
He continued on, kissing each of her knuckles slowly before he placed her arm on the ground gently and repeated himself on her other arm, smiling as he pressed his last kiss against her thumb and she reached around him to grip his ass cheek, pulling him closer. He abandoned her hand, his lips finding hers again in a passionate kiss; deep and slow, his tongue exploring every corner of her mouth before he broke away. His heart skipped a beat when his eye caught hers and he saw how full of emotion they were. He cupped her face with his hand, his thumb rubbing her cheek slowly as he straightened his posture, using the muscles in his thighs to keep himself upright above her while his hands found the zipper to her dress.
His eye never left her gaze as her dress fell open, his fingers moving to tug the sleeves down her arms. She arched her back, giving him the room to pull it down so that when she laid back down, a gasp left her lips when her bare skin met the cool grass. He abandoned her dress at her elbows, his fingers now working on tugging her shorts down. She lifted her thighs for him, their eyes only parting for a brief moment as he pulled them off her legs and tossed them to the side.
Sakura brought her legs back down, letting them bend at the knees so that her kneecaps were gently pressed into his sides. He was drinking in the sight of her: her silky soft pink hair framing her face; green eyes hazy and wide, her mouth red and plump from his barrage of kisses and a beautiful blush spreading from cheek to cheek and over her nose.
Kakashi finally allowed his eye to break from her gaze as he glanced down her neck and to her chest, rapidly rising with each heavy breath she took. His hands reached down, cupping her breasts through her sports bra gently before he squeezed them a little more firmly. This earned a loud groan from Sakura, who arched up against his hands.
"Kakashi," she moaned his name, her eyes fluttering closed. She reached up, covering his hands with her smaller ones, her bottom lip trapped between her teeth as his left hand trailed down her stomach and pushed her down at the hip. He leaned over her, continuing his assault of kisses; starting at the hollow of her throat he made his way down the valley of her breasts, growling against the clasp of the bra.
Sakura reached up, undoing it for him and he quickly pushed the fabric away on both sides, leaving her exposed from the waist up to his molten gaze. She swallowed hard as his lips kissed first across her left breast, his tongue flicking out against her nipple and bringing it to attention before he kissed down and around the bottom of the mound before giving her right side the same attention. She whimpered under his touch; his tongue burning her skin and leaving her craving more.
He noticed her flinch as his lips moved lower and at first he smiled, thinking it a reaction of her arousal. When her arm brushed over her stomach, keeping it from his hungry lips though, he frowned and lifted his head, looking up at her eyes, which now glanced away from him. He leaned up, using his forefinger and thumb to tilt her face so that she couldn't look anywhere but him.
"You don't have to hide from me," he told her firmly, his thumb stroking her chin tenderly. "You're beautiful, Sakura."
Her blush darkened and he kissed the corner of her mouth before returning to his previous position, using his hands to hold her wrists at her sides. He watched her breath quicken, her eyes still not meeting his. Kakashi gently kissed slowly and deliberately across her stomach and hips, speaking gently in between each touch of his lips to her flinching skin.
A kiss on the the top of her left side;
"Look at me, Sakura."
At the top of the center of her stomach;
"You are beautiful."
Against the top of her right rib;
"Every inch of you is fucking beautiful, Sakura."
He glanced up at her, seeing the tears welling in the corners of her eyes and he reached up, brushing them away with the pad of his thumb before he continued, pouring every ounce of love he could into every single kiss; wanting, needing her to believe him.
Against her left hip;
"You are perfect."
Against her right hip;
"Anyone who says otherwise,"
Against her belly button;
"Is a piece of shit."
He growled the last five words; his eyes flashing fire as he looked up at her, daring her to argue with his assessment. Sakura couldn't speak; her bottom lip wobbling slightly as large, salty tears spilled over from her eyes. Kakashi kissed her stomach gently again before he moved up so that they were face to face again.
"I mean it, Sakura. You are beautiful. All of you is fucking beautiful."
She crashed her lips against his as he finished speaking and he returned the kiss equally as passionately, one hand burying into her hair and the other tightly clenching the grass beneath his palm. She whimpered against his mouth, her fingers pushing his boxers down. He shrugged them off, letting them bunch at his knees as he leaned back up, putting all of his weight on his knees as she wrapped her legs around his waist.
Sakura kept her gaze focused on Kakashi's face as he moved his right hand in between their bodies, his index finger finding her slit already dripping for him. He slid two fingers in, curling them slowly as he found her g-spot in one stroke. She gasped his name, her eyes fluttering closed as she reached down to thread both of her hands through his soft, silver hair.
"Sakura, look at me," Kakashi murmured to her, using his left hand to gently caress the stomach she seemed so insecure about. When her eyes blinked open and met his gaze, he reached up and lifted her hand, bringing it to his throbbing member that lay against his stomach. "Feel me," he instructed her, wrapping her fingers around himself before he placed his hand back on her stomach; splaying his fingers as the digits of his left hand continued stroking her from within, he continued, "Do you feel how hard I am for you, Sakura?"
Her legs quivered and she whimpered, but that wasn't good enough. Kakashi lifted his hand from her stomach and placed it on her chin, tilting her face to look at him directly. "Answer me, Sakura," he spoke more firmly, adding a third finger. She arched against him, feeling close to bursting point.
"You're throbbing," she could hardly speak, her eyes drifting closed. He began moving his fingers more quickly, keeping his eyes on her face as he watched her teetering closer and closer to the edge.
"That's right," he spoke gently, using the pad of his thumb against her slick clit now, earning a loud gasp and a shudder from beneath him. "And it's for you. Because of you," he groaned as her thumb slid over his slit, spreading his precum over the head of his cock.
She opened her eyes again, leaning up to press her lips against his in a quick, sloppy kiss before she wrapped one arm around his neck, bringing him down so that he was pressed against her, his weight barely supported by his one arm as he continued fingering her. Her heart was doing somersaults, leaving her chest tingling from the inside out while her lungs felt as though they'd been deflated; her life sustained only by Kakashi and those long, talented fingers of his.
"Cum for me," he commanded lightly against her lips, pressing his forehead to hers, his eye closing as she writhed against him, one clenching his hip and the other tangled in the back of his hair. She felt the bubble burst; her body convulsing hard against his as she cried his name out. Her orgasm exploded from deeper within than she'd ever felt anything before. Sakura's vision flashed white and suddenly there was only her and him and the way he made her feel; everything else in the world faded as she shriveled in his arms in the comedown.
Kakashi had never seen anything so striking before in his life, and he was left amazed at her as she came undone for him, his arms holding her body up as she momentarily went limp, gone in the pleasure that he'd provided. He leaned her back against the grass gently, his hand stroking her cheek until her eyes opened a few moments later, a dreamy smile on her face.
"Fuck me," the words came out quietly. He shook his head, leaning down to press his lips to hers tenderly, his hand readying his cock at her sopping entrance.
"No, tenshi," he whispered against her mouth before he tilted her chin up so that once again, she could only look at him as he spoke, "I'm going to make love to you."
He slid himself in slowly and steadily, not stopping until he was completely enveloped within her body and they were one; his chest pressed against hers. She whimpered his name as the fingers of his left hand found hers and clenched them tightly.
"I love you," he murmured against her lips for the second time that afternoon before he moved his mouth to her neck as his hips began to move slowly, her body responding in kind. She opened her eyes, leaning back to watch the way the sunlight danced across his freshly healed wounds. When he saw the frown tugging at her lips, he shook his head and placed her hands on his pectoral muscles, covering her fingers with his palms. "See for yourself, Sakura. I'm okay."
His eye closed as he felt the gentle hum of her medical chakra flow into him. It felt like she was in his soul; more intimate than anything he'd ever allowed himself before, and Kakashi swallowed hard as he allowed himself to be completely vulnerable with Sakura. His heart was beating hard against his chest and she covered it with her palm, using her chakra to help steady the beat before she leaned up, smiling against his lips.
"You're really okay," her words came out as a sob. He lifted her hand to his throat next; still bandaged, but feeling better than it had in days as she gently sent another surge of her calming chakra coursing through his body. Kakashi kissed her as he laid her back down again. Keeping his weight off of her with one hand, he tangled his other hand into her hair, tenderly massaging her scalp.
He moved his hips against hers harder now, his eyes never breaking contact with hers. Sakura placed her hands on his hips, her fingers digging into the tight skin there and leaving crescent-shaped indents in their wake. He couldn't get close enough; deep enough for her and she whimpered as she lifted her hips.
He felt lost in her; all sense of himself completely gone and replaced instead with only Sakura; her spicy, salty smell and the taste of her sweet kiss that still hung on his lips; the way her body desperately sought out his own, needing all of him like she needed air. And he gave himself willingly; not caring if it left him nothing at all if it was what she desired.
His movements were becoming erratic and Sakura, sensing he was on the edge, leaned up, wrapping both of her arms around his neck and placing her lips at his ear, where she whispered, "Don't pull out this time."
Kakashi opened his mouth to argue but she cut him off with a single kiss, stealing his breath and his words all in one swoop of her mouth. "Sakura," he only managed to get her name out as a strained groan.
"It's okay," she panted against his ear, moving her hips in tandem with his. "I want to feel you in me. All of you this time."
His will defeated, Kakashi's forehead fell against her shoulder as he thrust deep and hard; his body working with a mind of its own. His chest was heaving, mouth open and grunting throatily against her skin as he fell apart, letting himself go completely for the first time in his life.
He cried out her name, his hand clenching around her hair as he filled her with himself, his body trembling hard against hers. Her fingers clawed at his back, leaving stinging scratches in their wake. Sakura felt her second orgasm peak at the same time and she clung to him, her body seeking his out like there wasn't enough of him for her. She felt her body go limp and Kakashi once again laid her back, his body collapsing on the grass next to hers and immediately pulling her so that she was lying mostly on top of him. The last thing Sakura heard before drifting to sleep was Kakashi's voice telling her how much he loved her and she smiled, feeling it in every cell of her body.
