Well hello! Here's a new chapter of The Forest's Princess-fanfiction, inspired by the Bambi-song, all of which I don't own the rights to. See you in the next chapter.
Clarice walked ahead of her father in the forest.
The sun was rising.
"Dad, where are we going today?" Clarice asked.
Finally they arrived at the shore of the lake, and Clarice saw an island in the middle of the lake:
"Dad, is that island the one you, mom, and grandpa went to with some animals for safety from that hunter's campfire?"
"Yes it is", Gallant said.
"How did you feel, when you looked at, that forest fire?" Clarice asked.
"It was one of those times, I was scared", Gallant said.
"I see. Look!" Clarice screamed, as she saw something digging out of the sand.
It was a baby turtle that crawled towards the lake, and swam away.
Then more turtles dug out of the sand, crawled towards the water, and swam away.
"It's a baby turtle", Gallant said.
"Different from those turtles, that bit Champ, and Ronno in their noses", Clarice said.
Gallant nodded.
Clarice went for a walk with her father in the forest:
"The island we just saw, was quite small, but can all the animals that escaped the forest fire be on that island?"
"They were able to be on that island", Gallant said, walking with Clarice in the forest.
Clarice stopped, when she saw a small, hollow log moving on the ground, which stopped after hitting Clarice's right front leg. Clarice looked at the log curiously.
"Be careful, Flower!" Thumper said from inside the log.
"Excuse me, but is this necessary?" Flower asked.
"That way we'll stay hidden from my little sisters for a while", Thumper said.
Clarice raised her right front leg, and her friends moved to hide in a nearby bush.
Clarice smiled, and then walked with her father to the clearing her father had shown Clarice earlier:
"It's really beautiful here, dad. When you met mom here, what did you think of this clearing?"
"Oh what? Heh! That here Champ couldn't bully me, as long, as he didn't find this opening", Gallant said.
"I thought so", Tinker Bell said, as she came out, her belly now looking a little bigger than before.
Tinker Bell had recently returned to her cave, and now all the animals living in the forest knew that Tinker Bell was alive, and as a result the forest now had a happy atmosphere.
Clarice smiled at her parents, then looked at the butterflies sitting on the tree branches, which then began to fly.
"There is under the flux, its icy surface, life
That one is asleep and under the snow it is hidden
The colder the winter, so much sweeter
That warmth again consoles and I see brighter
Even though its hidden around
Life
When spring wakes everything up with its warmth
Gloom goes away, I am again waking to life
Light won the darkness and I experienced a miracle
After the silence I can sing again
And see its coming, so I dream
I wake to life once again!" Butterfly song.
A smaller plant had grown out of the trunk of the tree above Gallant's cave, wrapping a small part of itself around the stem of the larger plant next to it.
A yellow butterfly landed around a smaller plant.
