Well hello! Here's the new, and final chapter of The Forets's Princess-fanfiction, inspired by The Lion King 2-movie, and the end of Bambi 1-movie.
Clarice walked with her father in the forest at sunrise:
"Heh heh! The forest is waiting, sleepy boy".
"Maybe you shouldn't have eaten so many flowers before going to bed", Gallant said, walking behind her daughter.
"Wait, dad. I sense trouble!" Clarice announced after stopping on the road, and hearing some commotion.
"What where?" Gallat asked after stopping.
"There. There's a beehive on the branch of the tree above you", Clarice said, looking up a bit.
Gallant looked above him, and saw that beehive near his horns:
"Very good".
Clarice continued walking forward while Gallant ducked a little lower, dodging the beehive as he followed his daughter.
"Wait. Now I sense trouble", Gallant said, pausing with a smile.
"What where?" Clarice asked after stopping, then looked around.
"I see it right in front of me", Gallant said.
"Are you talking about me now?" Clarice asked turning around, then looked at her father. "I could test your speed".
"No. Not you", Gallant said.
"Yes I do", Clarice said, and then began to play with her father, at one point trailing behind her father's leg, then ran in front of her father as Gallant lowered his horns, and Clarice grabbed her father's horns with her front legs:
"Heh heh! I caught you, dad!"
Surprisingly, Gallant turned Clarice to lie on her back on the ground:
"Now who caught someone?"
"Why don't you tell my mother that?" Clarice asked, thinking of a scene in The Lion King 2-movie where similar words were said.
"I got you now", Gallant said.
Gallant began to tickle Clarice's stomach.
"Heh heh!" Clarice laughed, but when Gallant stopped tickling Clarice, Clarice looked at her father:
"Well why don't you tell mom you caught someone?"
Clarice stood up.
"Well, if I told your mother this, she would immediately challenge me to a running race. Your mother is one of the fastest deer in our forest, and I lost to her many times, when we were cubs. That's why I avoid telling your mother that", Gallant said.
"No wonder", Clarice said, then looked at her dirty fur.
"Looks like I'm dirty now. I know where fur can be cleaned".
"Oh right?" Gallant asked.
"Yes, father. Follow me", Clarice said, starting to walk towards her grandfather's cave, and when they got there, Clarice went to stand under the waterfall in the shallow river in front of the mouth of her grandfather's cave, and let the dirt wash off her fur, and then walked to her father's side, and then stopped standing:
"Just a warning, dad. The water in that waterfall can be cold if you do that".
"Thank you for the warning, Clarice, however. I remember how cold the water is", Gallant said.
"You should have heard, how I screamed the first time I felt the coldness of that water", Clarice said as the butterfly landed on Clarice's tail:
"Look, dad. Now I can't really move".
"Yes, I can see that", Gallant said.
Finally the butterfly flew away.
"The forest is really beautiful", Clarice said.
"Hello, Clarice", Faline said, arriving with Flora, and Adrien.
"Morning. Hello, Adrien", Clarice said to Flora's brother.
"Hey, Clarice", Adrien said backing up behind his sister, giving Clarice a shy look. "It's great that your mother is okay and back in her cave".
"Yes. Faline, what's your father like?" Clarice asked.
"He is nice, and considerate", Faline said.
"Okay", Clarice said.
"Look, Clarice. I have horns now", Adrien said.
"Hm. I see", Clarice said, as the others left the scene.
After walking some distance, Clarice stopped to sniff the flowers, and her nose touched something, and she raised her nose from among the flowers to see, how she had touched the Flower's nose with her own nose:
"Morning, Flower".
"Morning", Flower said.
Clarice removed her nose from Flower's, then looked around.
"Well, well. It's a princess. We'll meet again one day, and then...Aww!" Ronno, who was standing on a rock in the river, stepped directly on top of the turtle, and fell on his butt at the bottom of the river after the turtle flew directly on top of Ronno's head, and then that turtle ran down Ronno's face, and bit Ronno on the nose.
"Aaaaaa! Aaaaaa! Take it off! Take it off! Mommy, take it off! Mommy! Aaaa! Aaaaa!" Ronno screamed, as he ran back and forth in the river, and then ran away screaming in pain.
"See? Said turtles could be scary", Flower said.
"Heh heh!" Clarice laughed a little with the others, then walked forward with her father. "See you again. The forest is waiting".
"See you, Clarice!" Clarice's friends screamed.
After wandering in the forest for a while, Clarice stopped, and then looked at her father:
"Doesn't it feel like, that something special is going to happen today?"
"What do you mean?" Gallant asked, stopping next to his daughter.
"I've had a feeling all day, that something special is going to happen today", Clarice said.
Chirp chirp! The surprisingly audible bird's song filled size area, js all the animals started to follow that bird, coming out of their nests and burrows.
Next, Thumper ran to the spot with his family, and drummed the fallen tree trunk with his left hind leg, while looking at, the hole in the tree where Friend owl was sleeping:
"Wake up, Friend owl!"
"What is going on?!" Friend owl asked after waking up, then walked out of his hole.
"Something surprising has happened! We're going to see it!" Thumper started yelling with the others towards Tinker Bell's cave.
"Isn't mother's cave in that direction?" Clarice asked curiously, looking in the same direction everyone was running.
Gallant nodded, then went with Clarice to the top of a nearby mountain, looking in the direction of his wife's cave.
Clarice stood proudly still, and at the same time tried to look into her mother's cave, but there were so many animals there now, that she couldn't see properly:
"There are so many animals there now, that you can't see properly. Shall we go take a closer look?" Clarice asked finally walking with her father towards Tinker Bell's cave. "Is mom okay?"
Arriving at Tinker Bell's cave, Clarice, and her father stopped by the animals, and then looked at Tinker Bell, who was lying on the floor of the cave with a small fawn next to her.
Fawn woke up, and opened his red eyes, lifting his head up, and then looked at the other animals curiously.
"Oh!"
"Look! There are two of them!" A raccoon said, when he saw, how another fawn with brown eyes emerged from behind the newly awakened fawn.
The fawns looked at each other curiously, and then the brown-eyed fawn raised its front leg in front of the red-eyed fawn, and bite bit the red-eyed fawn's other ear.
Surprisingly, the red-eyed fawn shook its head, and pulled the other fawn's teeth from its ear, causing the brown-eyed fawn to fall slightly on the red-eyed fawn's back.
"I'm a big sister now!" Clarice smiled happily, then looked at her father, who seemed to have completely lost his ability to speak, as he looked at the twins.
"Heh heh! I've never seen two, babies that look so alike before", Friend owl said with a smile. "The Great Prince must be proud of them, and Princess Clarice must be proud of her twin-little siblings".
Tinker Bell smiled at the Gallant, Clarice, then looked at the twins proudly.
The red-eyed fawn licked one of his front legs, and the brown-eyed fawn rubbed his head lightly against Tinker Bell, then laid his head against the red-eyed fawn's back, ready to sleep.
"Mom, what names are you going to give them?" Clarice asked.
"This brown-eyed boy was born first, so I thought I'd name him Geno, and the red-eyed girl was born next, so I thought I'd name her Gurri", Tinker Bell said.
"Good names. Geno, and Gurri, I won't let Rude-Ronno tease you", Clarice said walking in front of her little siblings, and lightly touched her little siblings's heads with her chin, then walked over to her father's side to look at the twins.
"Be a good older sister to them, Clarice", Gallant said finally.
"Yes", Clarice said.
