A plan of sovereignty.

One day, two chipmunks named, Chip Maplewood and Dale Oakmont, had an interest in becoming detectives.

Their journey began by way of preparing for take off on a paper airplane.

After that unique flight, they met up with a police canine friend of theirs named, Plato, via a car chase.

During the chase, they discovered about a ruby that was stolen by a thug named, Percy.

A huge underworld crime lord named, Aldrin Klordane, had planned to use the ruby as a cue for a big larceny.

So Chip and Dale went with Plato to help track down and investigate on the case of the ruby at a lumbar warehouse.

Along with Plato's human pet and fellow detective, Donald Drake.

Once there, Chip and Dale manage to distract Percy with their antics

Which caused him to lose the ruby.

The ruby was sent to the police station, but it was stolen again by Aldrin Klordane's grey tabby pet cat, Fat Cat.

Fat Cat snuck the object in Donald Drake's trenchcoat.

Donald and Plato got falsely accused for that whole predicament.

In an unfortunate turn of events, they were then sent to jail

While Fat Cat returned the ruby to Aldrin and the criminal duo escaped with it.

Chip and Dale witnessed the whole thing and knew that Donald and Plato were innocent.

So they made their way inside Donald and Plato's cell and convinced Plato that they could help clear them.

Pleased Plato then sent the two rodents on a mission to find Klordane at his and Fat Cat's hideout called, the Happy Tom Cat Food Factory.

Where Chip and Dale then went off to investigate and try to find the ruby and retreive it once again.

Once at the factory, the two rodents beheld Fat Cat claiming the ruby.

They also noticed him getting suited up and greeting his three cronies, Mepps, Wart, and Mole.

So the chase was on, and Chip and Dale went after Fat Cat and his gang as they took off with the ruby.

During their quest, Chip and Dale eventually stumbled their way into a cargo hold inside a large cargo boat.

There, they came across their first companion teammate, Monterrey Jack Colby, a burley strongman cheese obsessed mouse.

They came across Monterrey's pal, Zipper, a stealthy blue housefly that is capable of having decent strength and could get anywhere for an insect his size.

Monterrey Jack and Zipper then agreed to join Chip and Dale on their quest.

As the chase went on, the rodent quartet made their way back to the Happy Tom Cat Food Factory only to witness Fat Cat heading inside a helicopter with Klordane.

Aldrin and Fat Cat were then headed over to Glacier Bay for the next phase of their plan.

But Monterrey quickly had an idea to meet up with his old pal, Geegaw Hackwrench, over at an abandoned military plane.

Once at the plane however, they managed to come across Geegaw's daughter, Gadget, a genius mouse inventor that can design loads of supernatural mechanics by using discarded and unrelated items due to her boredness and I.Q.

Gadget then agreed to join the team and fly the rodent quartet over to Glacier Bay with her Dad's old plane, the Screaming Eagle.

Upon their arrival, Gadget unfortunately crashed the plane.

However, she was convinced to repair it, but not before inventing the other rodents a snowboat to catch up with the criminal duo.

Once they found them, they discovered upon a laser cannon constructed by an evil mad scientist and Klordane's assistant, Professor Norton Nimnul.

The heroes noticed the ruby being used as the feul for the laser cannon to begin their supreme soverign scheme.

By way of slicing the glacier ice and using Klordane's copters to lift it off the ground.

Moments later, Fat Cat knocked the rodents off the glacier with snowballs.

But Gadget suddenly saved the rodents from their fall on the newly-repaired Screaming Eagle. Better known as the Ranger Plane.

Then the rodents found that the glacier was being chopped down by Nimnul by using Aldrin's copters, and then Norton loaded them on Aldrin's train.

And then they eventually found that it was all sent inside an underworld subway entrance.

Where Klordane also had Donald Drake captured while Plato was chained by Percy.

The rodents discovered that the mechanics and ingredients inside were being held hostage to make a huge glob of Jell-O.

To start an earthquake and drain down all the gold from the Global Gold Reserve.

So while Plato was chained to the end of Aldrin's train, he informed the rodents that they must stop him before it was too late.

By calling them, "Rescue Rangers", which inspired Chip very well of the team's name.

So upon starting another earthquake, the Rangers demolished all of Klordane's set.

Which made Aldrin so eager to make his escape with all the gold the train sending Plato with him.

So the Rangers caught on chase to have their final battle with Klordane.

They made way to alter the train's direction of path.

Then the train went flying out from underground.

And sent Aldrin right on top of the police captain's desk.

Thus Aldrin Klordane confessed his guilt with the ruby.

Thus the Rescue Rangers were born.

Stay tuned next chapter with the flash back of the ending of "To the Rescue" on Detective Drake set on to officially retire and say goodbye to some folks and Plato giving the Rangers their earned badge that he has always had while on the job with Donald and then the Rangers set on mission to save Shiela's dog leading onto the opening credits sequence.
