Hello, fellow Trainers. Centurion Maximo checking in and welcome to my brand new story: Rwby: Remnant's Trainers. This idea was inspired by the crossover fic from Mobian and myself: Rwby: Digital Tamer as well as the fic Remnant's Guardian Forces by Phoenix Champion. Now, this will have Pokemon in the world of Rwby.

Now, I love Pokemon. Always have, always will. However, I want more creativity like Pokemon: Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky as that game got dark and real, almost existential once the future plot took effect. It's kind of saddening that Pokemon never really took the darker tones after that game.

Now, let's dive into this new adventure!

Pokemon- What are pokemon? Pokemon are very mysterious creatures that are capable of many feats. Some become the friends of humans and faunus all over Remnant. Some change to become stronger. Other pokemon, unfortunately, are sometimes taken by bad people and used for nefarious purposes. As such, there are always good people to fight back and ensure the safety of pokemon and all of Remnant.

*Vale. Warehouse District. Looker. 22:34 pm*

*Five Years Ago.*

Looker was looking through a warehouse in Vale. Narrowing his eyes, he felt he had found a clue. "Looks like they were here all right, but why were they here in the first place?" He asked himself out loud.

"How about you don't answer that question?" A new voice asked back. Looker's eyes widened as he turned to see several Team Galactic Grunts along with Roman Torchwick. "Is that Looker?"

"Roman Torchwick. You're under arrest. You all are." Looker glared.

"I don't think so." Roman smirked as he took out a Poke-Ball and threw it. Once it hit the ground, it opened up, revealing a Lampent.

"Crap!" Looker scowled.

"Lampent: Fire Spin." Roman smirked as his Lampent unleashed the Fire Spin attack. Looker managed to evade the fiery vortex that appeared. "How bout you guys join in on the fun?" The Team Galactic Grunts grinned and threw out Zubats, Glameows, and Stunkys.

"This isn't good." Looker muttered to himself. He brought out his own Poke-Ball and threw it. "Go, Growlithe!" Growlithe growled at the large number of enemies "Listen, boy, we're outnumbered. Use Flamethrower so we can escape."

"Growl!" Growlithe nodded and immediately breathed fire at the group of enemies, making them take cover just long enough for Looker and Growlithe to get away.

When the smoke cleared, Looker and his Pokemon were just gone. Torchwick growled. "You four, load the Bullheads. The rest of you, come with me. We have to find that guy!" The Team Galactic Grunts not loading the Bullheads nodded and went with the master thief. Luckily for Looker, he was far away enough to not be seen.

Opening his scroll, he called Ozpin. "Ozzy, it seems to be worse than I originally thought. Team Galactic is working with Roman Torchwick, and I still don't know where his supporters are stationed."

"Calm down, Looker. We'll have more opportunities in time." Ozpin reassured. "Are you okay, though, old friend?"

"Fine enough thanks to Growlithe." Looker smiled lightly as he patted his Growlithe's head, to which his hand was nuzzled. "I'd feel better if I hadn't stumbled into an ambush. I hope the children of the four academies can help turn the tide." With that, Looker ended his call with Ozpin and recalled Growlithe. He then walked off to another part of Vale where he could rethink his plan.

Hello, everyone. I hope you all liked the prologue of my newest story. Now, we got to see Looker, Roman Torchwick, and some Grunts of Team Galactic, but they won't be the only bad guys that show up in this story. Now, the next eight chapters will be flashback chapters, similar to this one, but on how the main 8 got their first Pokemon when they were much younger.

Anyway, we see Looker from the main games being spotted by Torchwick and Team Galactic, bringing out his Pokemon: Growlithe. We see one of Roman Torchwick's Pokemon: Lampent. If you have ideas for the rest of Looker's or Roman Torchwick's Teams, let me know.
