AN: A less upbeat fic here, but I hope you enjoy.

Out of all his friend group, Linus was amongst the observers.

And this included observation that many times took place, where small mistakes or actions led to unfavourable occurrences. Misunderstandings, misinformation, or intolerance were often the main factors involved.

The results weren't always poor. There were moments where everyone just ended up resolving a mutual agreement.

And then, when the wrongdoer never gave resolution a chance, there were moments one just wasn't happening.

Linus was in the living room bent over a table when he felt the small crayon break in his hand, the top half falling onto the drawing he had luckily just finished.

He sighed, feeling slightly annoyed, and looked over to his sister.

"Lucy"

From the couch, a frustrated Lucy looked over, "What!".

Linus held his hand out to her, showing her the damaged item of stationery.

"I accidentally broke another one of your crayons".

His sister began to glare at him, and suddenly, she became visibly angry. Linus realised she wasn't going to brush this off, but continued negotiating.

"…Sorry Lucy, there's more of them in the…"

"THATS IT…GET OUT".

Linus was shocked.

"GET OUT OF THIS HOUSE" she yelled at him.

"Excuse me" a confused Linus got up as Lucy lurched forward toward him.

She began pushing him down the hallway, all while Linus was still busy processing what his sister was doing.

"Wait, but I live here" he questioned, "You're being ridiculous. I live here".

"Not anymore" Lucy pushed him through the front doorway, "GOOD RIDDANCE".

Linus quickly turned around on the front porch. He knew that his sister was aggressive and cruel. Whatever this absurdity was, it was uncalled for.

"Have you lost your mind" he exclaimed, but Lucy slammed the door and locked it shut.

"Lucy" he knocked on the door, "LUCY"

"I said you don't live here anymore" she huffed, "So what do you want?".

Linus wanted his sister to calm down, or at least talk to him, or at least consider that he had feelings. But…first he only took into account one thing to ask for.

"What about my blanket?"
