Chapter 4

On the second day I woke up, I saw the girl who left me here was sitting nearby. There was bread in her hand. She gave the bread to me when she saw I woke up.

"Have some breakfast," she said. "We are going on a long journey today."

I saw everyone had packed their things up and were ready. It didn't take me long to pack because I had very few things here. After packing, I ate my bread.

Soon the tent was taken away. We all stood in a big field. I saw many horses and many men. Suddenly, the sky-eyes man and another man came to me.

"You must be wondering what has happened," said the sky-eyes man. "But I can tell you that you are safe here in Rohan, one hundred percent." He kept on talking: "I am Théodred. The one after me is Éomer. We are all captains in this army. You can tell me if you have any problems."

I looked at the man after him, Éomer. His eyes were the color of ice. He looked so cold and unfriendly.

"He's a nice man," said the girl near me suddenly. "But I was scared of his appearance the first time I saw him, too."

Maybe to prove this, Éomer tried to smile, but he looked creepier.

We rode on horses that Théodred had given to us. "What's your name?" I asked.

"I'm Cynelith," said the girl. "You can just call me 'Cynee' for short."

I laughed. That nickname reminded me of 'Annie.'

"Why does that captain know my name?" I asked Cynee.

"Well," she said, "it's because of a prophecy from the Elven lady, Galadriel. She told Théodred the prophecy when he was lost in her forest. The prophecy says that the evil god who died in the past will return. His return will destroy many lives. The way to stop him requires a girl who has been first found in the bushes. In her hand you will find a key about the past. Never forget her name: Aurora. She will lead you to the win."

I was shocked. Not about the prophecy, but about everything she had mentioned: the names, the things, and the places. All of those names were so familiar to me. I thought I had heard those names from somewhere, but it couldn't be true!

If I wasn't dreaming or today wasn't April Fool's Day, then the only explanation could be that I was in the world of The Lord of the Rings!
