Same Night: Lemurian Star Ship

Inside: Kitchen

Gunnar, still looking bored and unfazed by the French Pirate's threats, sitting calmly with the other hostages. Gunnar looks out the window and sees a STRIKE agent, who drifts away from the window. Gunnar looks back up at French Pirate 19, who says in French, "Time is up. Who dies first...?" He says in French to one of his men, "Hey! You! Get that one."

Outside

The three STRIKE agents that are on the side of the ship don't move as they are waiting for the order.

Steven, still kneeling down beside/behind a metal wall looking at the control room, says lowly into his radio on his raised wrist, "On my mark."

Mabel/Iron Woman lowers down near the three STRIKE agents, ready to move.

Inside: Mabel's Iron Woman Suit

Mabel, looking forward, breathes in and out slowly and quietly.

Inside: Below Deck

Outside: Kitchen

Jasper aimed her gun at the locked kitchen door, listening to Steven's voice on the radio, "Three..."

Outside

The three STRIKE agents aim their guns at the windows of the kitchen, listening to Steven's voice, "Two..."

Inside: Kitchen

The French Pirates are oblivious to what's happening outside. Steven's voice says, "One."

Suddenly, shots were fired at the Pirates, French Pirate 19 flinches and raises his gun, frantically looking around.

Outside: Kitchen

STRIKE agent Rollins presses the button on the bomb trigger in his hand that's the size of a pen, and the locked kitchen door explodes.

Inside: Kitchen

French Pirate 19 turns around towards the door only to be shot by Jasper.

Gunnar looks at dead French Pirate 19 in front of him and says smugly, "I told you, SHIELD doesn't negotiate." Just then, a pirate that survived stands up and shoots Jasper, who walks into the kitchen. The pirate gets blasted down.

Jasper looks at the fallen pirate before looking up to see the Iron Woman suit flying in from one of the broken windows, dropping down, and the suit opens up, revealing Mabel. She steps out of the suit, looking at Jasper, who gives her an appreciated nod, and Mabel nods back as some hostages gasp at the sight of Mabel Pines by her Iron Woman suit.

Inside: Control Room

Hector paces around as French Pirate 20 is on the phone trying to get hold of the other pirates below deck.

French Pirate 20 holds the phone to his ear, talking in French, "Hello?" He takes the phone away from his ear, "Hector." He grabs Hector's attention, but he doesn't look at him, "The line just went dead. I've lost contact with them..." Hector looks down as if he can hear/sense something. Suddenly, Steven/Captain Universe comes into view through the window behind Hector, throwing his shield towards it, Hector quickly turns his head to see, then quickly ducks down to his knees just as Steven's shield smashes in through the window and hits French Pirate 20 as he screams, "Ahh!"

The shield lands on the wall. Steven/Captain Universe jumps up to the window, holding the bottom frame as he swings his legs over and drops to the floor. He looks down at Hector, who kicks Steven/Captain Universe in the chest, making him stumble back, allowing Hector to quickly stand up and run, heading towards the exit doors.

Steven/Captain Universe circles around the control panels. Hector kicks open the exit doors as Steven/Captain Universe grabs his shield and pulls it out of the wall as he turns around to follow Hector.

Hallway

Jasper, Mabel/Iron Woman, and the STRIKE team, leading the hostages to safety, the agents with their guns raised, quickly but cautiously moving down the hallway. Jasper informs Steven, "Hostages en route to extraction."

Outside: On Deck

Steven/Captain Universe comes to a metal-stairs as Jasper's voice informs Steven, "Wu and Northwest missed the rendezvous point, Cap." He runs halfway down before jumping down the rest of the stairs as Jasper's voice continues, "Hostiles are still in play."

Steven/Captain Universe is panting, looking around as he raises his right wrist, talking into his radio, "Marcy, Pacifica, Hector's on the move. Circle back to Jasper and protect the hostages."

Marcy's voice responds, "Got it."

Steven/Captain Universe speaks on his radio when there's no reply from Pacifica, "Pacifica." Suddenly, out of nowhere, Hector jumps up and kicks towards Steven/Captain Universe, who raises his shield, making Hector kick it and push Steven/Captain Universe down.

Steven/Captain Universe back-rolls into a crouch and stands up again, only to be pushed down by Hector as he kicks forward and hits Steven's shield. Hector front-flips, swinging his leg down to hit Steven/Captain Universe, who sits back and separates his legs to make Hector miss.

The two look at each other before getting up to a crouch. Hector, on his hands, kicks up to Steven/Captain Universe and hits him in the right shoulder as Steven/Captain Universe stands up, spins around to face Hector, who is already up to his feet and kicks back at Steven/Captain Universe, hitting him in the gut and making him fall back.

Steven/Captain Universe stands up again and sees Hector jump up and spin in the air to kick Steven/Captain Universe, but Steven ducks down and somersaults away from Hector as he lands on his feet.

Steven/Captain Universe stands up and faces Hector, who turns around to face Steven/Captain Universe. Hector punches and kicks forward a few times, making Steven/Captain Universe dodge and block the few hits with his arm, hand, or wrist. Hector swings his leg up to kick Steven/Captain Universe in the face, but Steven leans back to avoid the hit, then leans forward and pushes Hector roughly down with his shield.

Inside: Below Deck

Secure Area

Marcy/Hawkeye is in a secure area, hiding above a few pipes, looking down at Pirates 33, 34, and 35 with a glare as they converse with themselves, not knowing what's happening on the upper decks.

Marcy/Hawkeye quietly reaches behind her back to her quiver, grabs her closed bow, pressing a button on the handle. The bow extends to a full bow, reaches back again, grabs three arrows from her quiver, holds up her bow horizontally, lines her arrows across, shoots, and hits all three pirates down.

Marcy/Hawkeye smirks to herself before pressing the button on her handle again, and her extended bow closes again before putting it back in her quiver as she stands up, then falls, grabbing onto a pipe, swings forward, and drops down to a crouch.

Marcy/Hawkeye looks around as she stands straight and walks over to the three dead pirates. She quickly takes out her gun, aims it to her right, and shoots Pirate 36 down as she reaches the first dead pirate. Pirate 36 hides himself in a corner, but Marcy knows he is there. She leans down to retrieve her arrows as they are rear and there's not too many like them, before leaving to find Jasper and the hostages.

Outside

Steven/Captain Universe steps forward and watches. Hector flips up from the ground to his feet. Hector looks at Steven/Captain Universe, giving himself a punch to his chest as if saying he's tough and barely feels any pain, but he feels it; he's just masking the pain as Hector runs forward to lift both feet but kicks one foot forward at Steven/Captain Universe, who blocks it with his wrist.

Hector looks forward a few more times to hit Steven/Captain Universe, who's stepping back and blocks the kicks with his hands and wrists. Hector kicks forward again but hits the shield, then does a roundhouse kick towards Steven/Captain Universe, making him lean back to dodge the kick.

Hector kicks forward again, making Steven/Captain Universe roughly block it down with his hands before grabbing Hector's arm and knees him in the gut three times before throwing Hector away, who doesn't fall. He does a chart wheel and two backflips, landing on his feet.

Speaking in French, Hector looks at Steven/Captain Universe with an emotionless look, "I thought you were more than just a shield..."

Steven/Captain Universe, panting as he stands straight, puts his shield on his back and then removes his mask without looking away from Hector, who grins smugly. Steven/Captain Universe responds in French, "Let's see." Steven/Captain Universe throws down his helmet. The two get in a fight position.

Hector steps forward and kicks at Steven/Captain Universe, who blocks the kick with his left wrist and swings his right hand to punch Hector, who raises his arm to block the hit. Steven/Captain Universe goes to punch again, only to miss and be kicked in the gut.

Hector swings his fist. Steven/Captain Universe ducks to avoid the punch, then swings his left fist up and punches Hector in the gut, then swings his right elbow down and hits Hector hard in the face, making him stumble back a few steps.

Hector steps forward, and Steven/Captain Universe kicks him in the kneecap, making Hector wince in pain. Steven/Captain Universe kicks again, hitting Hector in the stomach and making him take a few steps back.

Steven/Captain Universe steps forward, twists as he jumps up, backflips without his hands, swings his leg down and successfully hits Hector in the head. Steven/Captain Universe lands on his feet and turns to face Hector while taking several steps back.

Hector slowly gets back on his feet, shaking his head, trying to shake off the pain and dizziness. As soon as Hector gets back on his feet fully, Steven/Captain Universe runs forward, tackles Hector, and continues running until he smashes into one of the control monitoring rooms.

Inside: Monitor Room

Steven/Captain Universe tackles Hector through the door, breaking it and going down with it. Steven/Captain Universe leans up and punches Hector hard in the face, making him go unconscious. Steven/Captain Universe glares down at Hector angrily as he pants out of breath. A voice breaks the silence.

Pacifica/Black Shadow looks over at Steven as she leans over the main computer in the middle first row, "Well, this is awkward."

Steven/Captain Universe looks over at Pacifica/Black Shadow, who smirked at him before returning to what she was doing, "What are you doing?" Steven/Captain Universe gets off unconscious Hector, heading over to Pacifica/Black Shadow.

Pacifica/Black Shadow looks at Steven/Captain Universe, telling him in honest sarcasm, "Backing up the hard drive. It's a good habit to get into." She goes back to typing as she's downloading something from the computer.

Steven/Captain Universe looks back at Hector before walking over to Pacifica/Black Shadow, "Jasper needed your help. What the hell are you doing here?"

Pacifica/Black Shadow doesn't answer Steven's question but tells him, "Marcy's got that handled with Mabel." Steven/Captain Universe stands beside Pacifica/Black Shadow on her left, looking at what Pacifica is backing up.

Steven/Captain Universe states in realization, "You're saving SHIELD Intel."

Pacifica/Black Shadow doesn't deny it, "Whatever I can get my hands on."

Steven/Captain Universe tells Pacifica/Black Shadow, almost in frustration, "Our mission is to rescue hostages."

Pacifica/Black Shadow calmly tells Steven/Captain Universe, "No, that's your mission..." She finishes backing up the intel, pulls the flash drive out, and straightens up as she turns to Steven fully, "...and you've done it beautifully."

Pacifica/Black Shadow goes around Steven/Captain Universe to leave, but he grabs her upper right arm, stopping her from leaving. She gives him a hard look. Steven/Captain Universe ignores her look and says, "You just jeopardized this whole operation."

Pacifica/Black Shadow gives Steven/Captain Universe a blank look with a tilt of her head, "I think that's overstating things." Suddenly, they hear movement behind Steven/Captain Universe. They turn towards the exit where Steven came in and sees Hector rise up, running towards the open exit as he unclips a grenade and throws the grenade at the two before he runs off completely.
