The three warriors who were training in the otheworld placed their hands on king Kai's shoulder and watched the fights with bated breathes. "if only we were there with them" Tien cursed, but Goku simply followed the battle with a smile on his face, "why do you look so happy Goku?" Crillin asked confused, "Oh it's nothing, I was just thinking how strong they all got, expecially Chi Chi, we must all have faith in our friends" Goku answered tyring to ease the tension.
Meanwhile on Earth the battle seemed to turn in the earthlings's favor, Chi Chi and Yamcha were now stronger than ever after eating the senzu beans, and the namekians were able to contain the elite saiyan with the help of Chiaotzu's powerful technique who kept a distance from the fight.
Brinjala was trying to hit her enemies but couldn't because she felt a strange pain and they were able to dodge her attacks. "So their plan is to slowly wear me down? I won't allow it" the elite thought. As soon as the pain stopped she charged her Ki and opened her arms, a massive barrier of energy formed around her and the namekians and Chiaotzu had to fly away from the saiyan to not get hit, but before they could even react the saiyan woman blitzed the three fighters, "I'm done playing your stupid games" she said as she charged a wave of energy from her hands in the direction of Piccolo, "he has a power of 4600, he is the biggest threat here" she thought and then fired her attack hitting the namekian. Piccolo had nearly dodged the attack but his left arm was instantly vaporized, before she could follow with another attack Brinjala felt the pain again and the other namekian hit her with a kick sending her flying then blasted her as she slammed into the ground. "Are you ok Piccolo?" Kami asked worried, "I don't need your pity... but yes I'm fine I will just waste some energy to regenerate my arm" the evil half answered.
At the same time Chi Chi was fighting the scarred saiyan Onion, he was the weakest of the three invaders and the daughter of the Ox king was able to match his power. Chi Chi learned to fly just months ago and she didn't fully adapt to the feeling yet, so she started to slowly bring the fight to the ground, "he is still stonger than me, I have to fight smart" she thought. "Are you running away from me woman?" Onion yelled as he charged his enemy, Chi Chi was able to dodge the attack and the saiyan crushed into the ground creating a giant crater, the princess then flew down to the ground and faced her enemy once more.
When the saiyan was about to get on his feet again Chi Chi started blasting in the direction of her enemy, but all the attacks missed, "wow what a great aim" Onion said mockingly, but he then understood what his enemy was doing as a huge cloud of smoke appeared. "mh I will just detect her with my scouter" the scarred saiyan thought with a grin, but then he was hit on the head, Onion tried to catch his enemy but there was only empty air, then he was hit again and again, "how is this possible my scouter is telling me that she hasn't moved from the spot she landed", then the cloud of smoke dissipated and the short saiyan saw that her enemy was still in the same spot, but she was holding something in her hands, "when did that stick get so long" Onion angrily yelled. Chi Chi tried to hit Onion in the head again, but the saiyan this time blocked the attack by putting his hands over his head, but Chi Chi dropped the power pole and flew in front of her enemy, in a second she punched the saiyan in the stomach with all the strenght she had.
Blood poured out of the injured saiyan's mouth, but he gritted his teeth and beared the pain as he headbutted Chi Chi, she screamed from the she pain and jumped back, now blood was pouring from her forehead. "He has gotten weaker, but he is still very dangerous" Chi Chi tought as she torned part of her clothes and used it as a bandage for her head, the piece of cloth then turned red from the blood.
Chi Chi readied herself for the battle once more, but all of a sudden she felt a ki presence behind her and she turned around. "Gohan!" she screamed, "mom?" Gohan asked in shock as he saw her mother for the first time after months, "I-I came here to help" he added, but after he finished the sentence Onion fired a blast at Chi Chi while she was distracted, then he flew to Goku's son and punched him in the face sending him flying to the ground "that voice so you must be Kakarot's brat, your disgrace of a father sends his son instead of coming to fight us himself" he then raised his hand and fired a blast towards the little child. A cloud of smoke appeared where the hit landed and the saiyan started laughing, but when the smoke cleared out he saw a figure standing before the little half saiyan.
Chi Chi was able to fly to her son and block Onion's attack just in the nick of time, she was now holding her bloodied right arm that she used as a shield against the blast. "You are so stubborn just die already" Onion yelled as he flew up in the sky and charged another wave of energy. Chi Chi was on the brink of collapsing but she turned her head to her son who layed fainted on the ground. "Never again" she tought gritting her teeth, "I will never let anyone else separate us again", she then turned around and charged an attack with her only good arm left, both fighters then fired their attacks, a beam struggle was now lighting up the battlefield. As the saiyan's blast was coming closer and closer to the ground Chi Chi felt like she was about to give up "I can't do it I don't have any strenght left in me, even now I am too weak to protect my son" she tought. "that's not true" a familar voice said, "Goku?" Chi Chi asked in disbelief, "Yes it's me I'm speaking through king Kai right now, please Chi Chi you still haven't released all of your energy I can feel it." he added, a tear fell down her cheek "You are right Goku I must give it my whole" she yelled, then she raised her other arm ignored the pain and released even more energy, her energy wave doubled in power and soon reached the saiyan invader who was swallowed whole by it, nothing was left of Onion. Gohan woke up and saw her mother, who turned around and smiled at him before collapsing on the ground. "Mom!" Gohan cried as she rushed to check on her mother who was barely breathing.
"Onion!" Brock screamed in horror as he watched his friend die, "No it can't be" he said as his face was filled with tears "I will avenge you" he then added. Yamcha was shocked, "wait I thought all the saiyans were supposed to be cold and uncaring... except Goku of course" the ex bandit thought, then he turned to the tall saiyan "I'm sorry for your friend but we have a right to defend ourselves, and I asked you to leave the planet in order to avoid any senseless loss of lives" Yamcha said to the mourning alien, but Brock didn't listen to him and he began to charge his ki, but he wasn't simply charging his power, he was overcharging it "he wants to self destruct" Yamcha yelled catching the attentions of the other fighters, "Brock don't do it" Brinjala yelled in a worried tone but the tall saiyan had already made up his mind, he wanted to bring all of them with him to the otherworld.
Yamcha was in complete fear, "we must stop him, if we let him self destruct West city will be history" he thought. "Yamcha I have a plan, you are the closest to him and we don't have much time" the long haired human heard a voice in his head, it was Kami. While Brock kept charging up his ki Yamcha grabbed him and flew up in the sky, when he was high enough he let go of the saiyan, but the moment before Brock exploded Mr. Popo appeared on his magic carpet near Yamcha and the two immediately disappeared, a giant explosion then lighted up the sky above West city but no one was caught in blast. All that was left of Brock was his body which had turned to ash, then it came crushing down on the ground and the wind scattered what remained of the tall saiyan.
