Chapter 5

Timmy walked by Chloe's as they had finally cleaned up the entire house. Tammy was quietly following behind them with a pencil and notepad in hand. To take notes as they couldn't find anyone to watch her, so she got to tag along. The inspector they hired was a rather queer individual. With green hair, green eyes wearing a light green business shirt with dark green pants. He had an uncanny familiarity towards him like he knew the man, but everytime he thought about it. His mind blanked on it, yet the strange man had a warm heart that was annoying. One thing that had clearly occurred was the man wasn't exactly the smartest man in the world. Currently he was looking at the faucet turning it on and off and both of them looked at each other. Timmy's attention got grabbed away by Tammy who was tugging on his shirt, "Yes Tammy?" Timmy asked his daughter, who thought a moment before responding.

"What's the strange man doing?" She asked.

"He's an inspector Tammy," Timmy said. "His job is to go through Chloe's house and inspect it. Find all the things that are wrong with the house and anything that needs to be fixed. So we can get it fixed. Typically finding things that we can't see or don't notice."

"Oh then I wish that man was the best house inspector of them all," Tammy said.

"Tammy, that's his job," Chloe said. "Now remember to take notes of everything he says. So we know what to fix."

"I will," Tammy said.

"Alright then shall we inspect this home?" The man who got both of them to look at one another, but they followed the man around the house. Listening as he would point to various things and occasionally Tammy would write things down on her notepad. As the green haired man who taps, touches things and points them out. It was about a 20 minutes long assessment with way more than either of them realized. Tammy took detailed notes with pride on her face. She loved to help before they finally set the man on his way with a very high nice payment.

"Well that went rather swell," Timmy said. "I thought we took better care of this place than that."

"Timmy this house has been a money pit since day 1," Chloe said. "And of course I'm the one that got stuck with it. So tell me Tammy did you get everything written down?" The two of them turned towards the 10 year old who nodded her head.

"Well first…" Tammy began.

Timmy walked over to Chloe who was going over Tammy's note. Tammy's handwriting was bad, but had improved for years now. As Chloe was sitting at the desk in Timmy's room going over her notes. Comparing what Tammy wrote to what they remembered and writing it all down. What Timmy did know is that it was going to cost a bigger fortune then they had predicted. Chloe picked up the pen and finally scribbled out the last of the page. She turned her attention towards him, "Well at least the twins are asleep. It's going to be a bit more expensive than I anticipated. We're looking around $100k in repairs. Then we can also add a few improvements along with the swimming pool the house should sell for around $800k. Also tomorrow I have to head out of town. I have to go see tweedle."

"What does she want?" Timmy asked.

"No clue, but I do know that I'm leaving early. So I'm going to bed," Timmy could only chuckle at her, but that only got a glare.

Timmy was standing over a desk flipping over the vast quantity of mail. His mind was pondering over his rather dull life. Man did he miss the 90s things were far simpler and less stressful. If he could go back with the freedoms of adulthood man, his life would be simply better. He missed the early 90s and all the freedom it gave him and Chloe during their early years together. Flipping through another bill he went to open it only for Tammy's voice to break the silence, "Hey Daddy look at what we found." Tammy came rushing towards him with a strange object in her hand. It was a lunch box, a really old lunch box that he hadn't seen in years.

"Hey my old lunchbox," Timmy came to his knees. And took the lunchbox, opening it up to see his old time capsule. Something that he had completely forgotten about. Then found a random picture after searching through it a picture of the old fish he used to have. Looking at the picture Timmy gave it a weird look on his face. Something was familiar, but oddly missing. He spent a good moment looking at it as if something was right on the tip of his tongue. Something oddly familiar about it after a moment for a reason Timmy couldn't describe. A smile crossed his face when the doorbell rang, "Oh well time for work." With that he walked over and opened the door.

"Nooo!" The twins shouted.

Timmy waved as he walked out of the house and shut the door behind him. With that he pulled out his cell phone and dialed Chloe as he moved into the really old car. He was going to have to deal with it sooner or later.
