Tony's Pov

"Tony, sit down, you're making me dizzy with all your pacing." Rhodey called out from his place on the couch.

He dropped everything the second I told him about Violetta, hopping on a Stark jet, joining me and Pepper in London.

'I already missed 17 years Ton, I'm not missing a second more of my goddaughter's life.'

Those were his exact words when I told him we were coming here to hopefully meet Letty.

I had asked Kingsley if there anyway that we could tell him about the whole magic thing, because I definitely couldn't deal with that mind fuck without him. The minister said there were some not too well known loopholes for non biological family to know, ergo godparents; as long as I recognized Rhodey as Letty's godparent, legally he could be told about magic without repercussions.

Of course he took it in stride saying, it's honestly no weirder than he would expect from my offspring.

I could always count on my honey bear.

For now we're going to set up shop at my father's old property in Kensington. The way Kingsley was talking at SHIELD, it seemed like Letty might not be all that receptive to a kumbuya meeting.

I can understand why she'd be displeased, the kid's been through a lot, more than someone her age should. Plus she's a Stark, and Stark's have spines of steel, we're as stubborn as they come. She had her mind set on not telling me, in an effort to protect me, but that's not her job. I'm the parent, it's my responsibility to protect her, and I'll take down whoever I have to-to make sure she's safe.

"Tony please sit. I just spoke to Remus," Pepper came into the living room pulling me to the large settee with her, "he's on his way with Kingsley and Elijah Bonham. They should be here soon."

"Great, we get to meet your almost father in law." Rhodey grinned from the couch, making me flip him the bird.

"That doesn't make me feel better. Not even close."

Pepper handed me the bag of blueberries she had gotten from the kitchen.

"Here, occupy yourself with these and calm down. I'm sure they have good news. Remus sounded hopeful over the phone." She gave me a gentle smile kissing my forehead.

God I love that woman.

It hadn't even been 5 minutes before the doorbell rang making me jump up.

"No I'll get the door, you stay here and straighten yourself out." Pepper said sternly before walking toward the front door.

"It's gonna be fine Tony. Just relax, ok, you're not alone here." Rhodey said softly, putting a comforting hand on my shoulder.

I'm not alone.

I could hear Pepper speaking softly as footsteps ascended in our direction. She walked in smiling next to who I had to assume was Genny's father, while Kingsley and Remus followed behind them.

The tall man set his assessing gaze on me and I unconsciously stood a little straighter moving forward with an outstretched hand.

"You must be Elijah Bonham, I'm Tony Stark."

"It's nice to meet you Tony, I can already see that my Vio has your eyes." He gave me a genuine smile shaking my hand, making me let out a breath I didn't realize I was holding.

"This is my best friend Colonel James Rhodes." I brought the attention to Rhodey, introducing him to the group of wizards.

We all quickly found seats in the living room. Pepper and Rhodey settled on either side of me on the settee, while we faced the group of magicals.

My knee bounced with anticipation and anxiety as Rhodey placed a calming hand on it to settle me, and Pepper grabbed my hand.

"So, we spoke to Letty yesterday. Safe to say she was a bit upset." Remus spoke softly with an unconvincing smile making Kingsley snort.

"A bit. That's easy for you to say she didn't hex you." The man grumbled folding his arms.

"I'm sorry hex?" Rhodey uttered confused.

"Stop being dramatic, you only sneezed sardines for a few minutes. You should be glad she didn't give you boils." Eli grumbled, shaking his head.

"Sneezed sardines?" Pepper spoke up just as befuddled.

Letty's got a good mind for revenge. She's a chip off the old block. I wonder what the incantation for that is. And if she ever used that on Dean. How many of those does she know? Remus said that she had a talent for charms and runes. I wonder if we can incorporate some of those in Stark tech.

"Why are you grinning?" Rhodey muttered looking at me bewildered.

"My kids' a menace. I love it." I smiled whispering to him.

"Of course you would."

"Ehem, back to the purpose of this conversation," Remus pointedly looked at Kingsley, "though Letty was a bit upset when she found out we went behind her back, Dean was able to calm her down."

Dean. Of course he was there.

"Is that the boyfriend?" Rhodey whispered with a look making me nod.

Glad we're on the same page about that.

Pepper pinched my side, giving me a look before I could say anything.

"Is she open to meeting with us?" Pep asked softly.

"Yes she is," Eli said happily, "You all are welcome to come with us today back to our home. We figured it was best to have you meet in a place familiar for Vio."

She wants to meet me. I'm going to meet my daughter. Oh my god why can't I speak. Am I suddenly a mute? I'm going to meet my daughter and I can't speak. Oh my god she's going to think I'm an idiot. Why can't I move my feet? What the hell is wrong with me?

"Tony relax, it's ok, we're going to meet your baby. It's ok, me and Rhodey are here. It's gonna be fine, we'll be there the whole time." I didn't realize that Pepper had wrapped her arms around me.

I sighed, closing my eyes burying my head in her neck as I felt Rhodey's comforting hand on my back.

As we pulled out of our embrace we saw the wizards smiling at us.

"It'll be fine Stark, Letty's not that scary," Kingsley grinned before he rethought his statement, "for the most part."

"Hush Kingsley my Vio is an angel." Eli spoke up, slapping the back of Kingsley's head.

"Hey I'm still the minister you know!" The tall man exclaimed.

"I don't care, you're still my nephew and I used to change your diapers now shush."

Kingsley grumbled distracting me a little from the ever present anxiety that I've been feeling since I found out I was a father, while Remus walked over to the fireplace.

"You are going to get your first look at magical travel," he smiled pulling out his wand, "we're going to connect your fireplace to the floo system which will be able to transport you straight into Bonham manor. But don't worry that will be the only property that will be able to gain access for now, unless you would like to add more later."

"Floo?" Rhodey asked, perplexed.

Wizards have such weird fucking words.

"So that's why you asked me if we had a fireplace." Pep mumbled to herself nodding her head.

We all watched as he enlarged the fireplace, muttering a few words as he placed the tip of his wand at the base of the white marble mantle.

He then pulled out a small drawstring burgundy bag from his pocket holding it up.

"This bag is filled with floo powder, you simply grab a little less than a handful, very clearly state where you want to go, and then throw it down. You'd do well not to fidget too much and you might want to keep your eyes closed. Don't be alarmed by the flames, you won't burn, the powder is flame retardant and completely safe. Don't worry about your supply of powder either, it's a lot more filled than you think. It'll be a good few months before you run out, it's one of Letty and her friend Hermione's expandable bags, it's practically bottomless."

My kid makes bottomless bags. How fucking cool is that. I wonder if she could make me one?

"Maybe we should get a demonstration first?" Pep asked nervously, making Remus grin.

"Of course."

Remus grabbed some powder before placing the bag on top of the mantle and stepping into the unlit fireplace.

"Bonham Estate, Windsor." Remus stated before throwing the powder down. Me, Pep, and Rhodey jumped back as he was suddenly surrounded by green flames and promptly disappeared.

"Jarvis, I need you to run a few scans for me. Wait until I go into the flames ok buddy." I spoke into my watch wanting Jarvis to catch every second of this so I could go over the data later.

"Of course sir, though I would advise against walking into flames without your suit." He stated plainly.

"Is that sarcasm I sense," I grinned, "don't worry Remmy said it's completely safe."

"So who's first?" Kingsley smiled at us.

"Ooh me! It looked like fun." I quickly walked up to the fireplace making Pep and Rhodey shake their heads.

"Ok Stark you remember the steps," Kingsley waited for me to give him an affirmative answer making me nod yes, "just say Bonham Estate, Windsor. Remus will be waiting for you on the other side." He gave me a quick pat on my shoulder before I grabbed some floo powder and got into position.

"Get ready for the scans buddy," I tapped my watch before speaking again, "Bonham Estate, Windsor."

I threw the powder down before I was surrounded by the green flames. I promptly closed my eyes like Remus said and a slight uncomfortable feeling settled in my stomach before it quickly disappeared.

"Welcome to Bonham Estate Tony, you might want to move out of the fireplace. I don't want you to get trampled by whoever's coming through next." Remus spoke up, making me open my eyes to see that I was no longer in my home.

Magic is cool as fuck.

It looked like we were in a Victorian sitting room. The walls were a deep forest green and there were bay windows and french double doors that led out to a very colorful and expansive garden. There was another set of double doors that led to what looked like a large library and the room had large wingback chairs and settees in front of the fireplace. There were little knickknacks settled throughout and paintings of different scenes in history and who I'm guessing are family members settled on the walls.

Wait, is that painting moving?

Remus saw what I was looking at and chuckled.

"Don't be alarmed Tony, lots of magical paintings move just like our pictures."

The fireplace lit up again with Pepper stepping through. She quickly got her bearings, moving out of the way taking in the room just like I did.

"Welcome Pepper." Remus smiled, making her smile back.

"You're right Remus it wasn't a bad way to travel."

We were quickly joined by Rhodey, Kingsley, and Eli.

"Is that painting moving?" Rhodey nudged my shoulder looking at a painting of a lion on an African savanna that looked like it was yawning, waking up from a nap.

"Yep. Cool right." I grinned, making him shake his head.

Rhodey promptly jumped as a blue blur ran past his leg.

"Oh don't worry, that's just Toussaint, Letty's familiar." Eli grinned, petting the creature on its head.

"Is that supposed to be a cat?" I asked, getting into a staring contest with the blue fur ball.

"He's a kneazle, I guess you could say he's similar to a cat," Eli grinned picking the beast up, "I'll call for Kreacher he's Letty's house elf, though she'd rather he wasn't. He'll let the others know we're here."

"House elf?" Pep started to ask and Eli nodded in understanding.

"House elves are creatures that serve magical families. Kreacher was bound to the House of Black, but when Letty's godfather Sirius Black was killed he named her his heir, so Kreacher is now bound to her as the Head of the House of Black. She's still a Bonham and well a Stark, but her official title would be Lady Black."

My kid's a fucking Lady.

A/N: The sardine sneezing hex is found on the Harry Potter Wiki. And Papa Eli mentioning boils was a nod to the hex that Hermione placed on the sign up sheet for the DA that got Marietta Edgecomb. Tony will continue to have a one sided beef with our beloved Dean Thomas until our boy eventually wins him over.
