Shido's POV:

Of all the things I expected to happen today, I did not expect this. Kurumi, the same girl who teamed up with Yoshino on that House of the Dead arcade game and the other Spirit that saved Origami, is right here in my classroom... and outright said she's a Spirit.

I glance at Tohka and Origami to see their reactions. Tohka was shocked by the reveal, but Origami... didn't react much at all.

"Really, Kurumi-san?" Origami sighs. "Did you really have to say that without warning?"

Kurumi giggles. "I couldn't help it. Good to see you again, Origami-san."

"Oh, you two know each other?" Tamae-sensei asks.

"Kurumi-san is a friend of mine from four years ago." Origami explains. "She told me she was coming to Japan, but I didn't think she would come to my school as well."

"Oh, I'm sorry. I must've forgot to mention that." Kurumi giggles, and then she takes notice of me. "Ah, Shido-san. It's been a while."

"You know her, too, Shido?!" My friend, Hiroto Tonomachi, shouts at me.

"Uh, yeah. I met her at the arcade one time."

"He met the new girl at an arcade?"

"He's not cheating on Tohka-san, is he?"

"That's so lame."

And of course, Ai, Mai and Mii say their piece.

"You have some interesting classmates, Shido-san." Kurumi giggles at the antics. "By the way, since I'm new to this school, would you mind showing me around?"

"Uh, sure, I don't mind." I agree. Well, since she's a Spirit, I suppose this would be a chance to get closer to her.

"So, you actually met her already, Shido?" Tohka asks during lunch.

"Yeah. It was during my date with Yoshino. I saw those two completely dominate one of the arcade games. It was a shooting game specifically." I explain.

"Well, that's not surprising. From what Yoshino told us about her, she's really good with guns." Kotori said through my earpiece.

"So, her angel is a gun?"

"First off, she wields two guns - a pistol and a musket. Second, the guns are just extensions of her actual angel. Did you notice the bang over her left eye?"

"Yeah."

"She's hiding it because her angel, Zafkiel, is actually giant clock, but it's also visible on her left eye." A clock on her left eye? "To any normal person, that'll seem weird, but anyone who knows about Spirits will pinpoint that she is one if they see it. So, by keeping it hidden behind her hair, she has an easier time hiding from the AST."

"I see." I nod in understanding. "So, a giant clock... does that mean her powers are over time?"

"Well, what else can a clock represent?" Kotori asks sarcastically as if it was obvious. "Anyway, focus and try to make her fall for you. But, remember Miyoi and Yoshino's warning. She won't give up her power so easily." I nod since I remember Yoshino saying that. "There's also another warning from Origami that Kurumi gave via text. It said: "Next time we meet, it might be as enemies.""

... Well, that's certainly ominous.

Either way, we had our plan, and perfect timing as Kurumi walks up to us. "Shall we go, Shido-san?"

"Uh, sure." I reply, walking out of the classroom with her.

Kurumi's POV:

Shido-san brings me to the cafeteria first, as I knew he would.

Thanks to the knowledge I gained from Fuyu-san, I know exactly how to proceed. Now, the one problem is that Mio Takamiya also knows everything. So, I need to act in a way as to not tip her off that something is off. So, I've decided that I would act as I normally would until Nia-san's arc begins. At that point, I would search for Sawa in the Neighboring World.

So for now, I will play the villain and act like I'm trying to eat her precious lover. Or, I suppose he's actually her son? But wouldn't that mean Shido-san has three little sisters, including Tohka? Except not since Mana-san is actually the aunt of those two?

... If there's one thing I've learned for sure, it's that the Takamiya Family is a mess.

"Kurumi? Is everything okay?" I hear Shido call for me, snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Yeah, just zoned out there... You know, it's hard to concentrate with a very handsome young man in front of me."

"Excuse me?" He looks startled by the sudden compliment. Fufufu~ How cute.

We make our way over to the stairs. If I'm right, at this point Shido is going to say...

"Umm, Kurumi, what kind of panties are you wearing?"

That.

"You want to peek? I don't mind if it you..." I say softly. I slowly raise my skirt, almost exposing my underwear...

And at that point, we hear two yelps along with the sound of a locker opening. So, Tohka indeed followed us, though I'm surprised Origami-san is also here, since this is the New Timeline version.

"Ara~ Well, this is awkward. What are you two doing here?"

"S-Sorry, Kurumi-san!" Origami quickly apologizes. "Tohka-san insisted on following you and dragged me along!"

"She was trying to seduce Shido!" Tohka shouts. "I'm fine sharing him with Yoshino, but I cannot accept her yet!"

"Ara~ That's a shame to hear." I feign sadness, though I expected this since Tohka is still pretty clingy to Shido at this point. Interesting that she fully accepts Yoshino, however.

Once the tour was over and I said goodbye to Shido, I head off on my way. However, I soon bump into a few unpleasant individuals.

I smirk. Looks like it's time to feast~ Kihihi~

Yoshino's POV:

I figured I would go visit Shido today, so Origami, Miyoi and I head off to the Itsuka residence.

"Oh?" Origami makes a sound as she looks at her phone.

"What's up?" Miyoi asks.

"I just got a text from Tohka-san that Itsuka-kun came home with someone who shares his hair and eye color." The trainee tells us. "She claims to be his little sister, but unlike Kotori-san, she's supposedly related by blood."

So, Shido has met Mana, his little sister who is actually his aunt.

"Ara~?" Yoshinon voices her interest, even though she already knows. "Well, if someone has the exact same hair and eye color as, chances are they're a relative of yours."

"Yeah, but what's strange is that Itsuka-kun has no memory of it, even though she apparently has proof." She must be talking about the locket with a picture of the two of them, even though the picture is actually of Shinji Takamiya.

"Maybe the boy got into an accident that caused him to forget his real family?" Miyoi makes a valid guess.

"Probably." I shrug, joining in the conversation. "We won't know for sure until we get the full details. We're almost at the house, anyway."

We make it to the house and open the door to enter...

"Just how much is your blood worth!? Big whoop! It's not like a real sister could marry him!"

... Well, we showed up at a wonderful time.

Around this time, Kotori and Mana started their argument over which sister was better - blood or adopted.

And we entered right when Kotori brought up marriage.

This of course, made everyone look at her with wide eyes.

"Oh, uhh... umm..." Kotori starts to blush as she realizes what she just said out loud, but it looks like she hasn't caught notice of us.

At least, until Yoshinon decided to tease her about it. "Ara ara~ So, Little Kotori wishes to marry her step-brother."

Kotori hears this and blushes further, turning to the door as everyone finally notices our arrival. "H-H-How long have to girls been there!?" She stutters.

""Just how much is your blood worth!? Big whoop! It's not like a real sister could marry him!"" Yoshinon parrots the Flame Spirit's words. "Since there."

At this point, Kotori's so embarrassed that she's runs upstairs.

"Great job, Yoshinon. You embarrassed Kotori so much she went to her room." Miyoi deadpans.

"Sorry, I just couldn't help myself." Yoshinon chuckles.

I sigh at my other half's antics and instead look at the "new" face in the house, Mana Takamiya, who was looking at me with wide eyes the moment she noticed me. Obviously, she was warned about how "dangerous" I was, which is why she flinched when I looked at her. "So, you're apparently Shido's "sister by blood"?"

Mana seems to understand that I'm not here for a fight and calms her nerves. "That's right. I'm Mana Takamiya, nii-sama's real little sister. Look, I even have proof." She opens her locket and shows us the picture of her and Shido, or rather, Shinji.

"Hmm, the picture doesn't show any evidence of forgery." Miyoi analyzes.

"Looks legit." Yoshinon adds her comment.

"That boy really does look like Itsuka-kun." Origami says, before looking at the boy in question. "Do you really not remember?"

"No, I don't have any memory of her at all." Shido replies. "What's weird is that Mana also has a memory problem."

This surprises Origami and Miyoi, and I pretend to be surprised with them. "Really now?" Yoshinon voices our surprise.

"Yeah. I can't remember anything past the last two or three years." Mana confirms. No doubt it's because of DEM fucking up her body with science and magic.

"It's odd how both blood siblings have memory problems." Origami hums in thought, and I nod in agreement.

Mana's eyes suddenly widen. "Oh, I almost forgot I have to report for work! I have to go! Bye nii-sama!" She says goodbye to Shido as she runs past me and Origami out the house.

"There she goes." Miyoi says. "Still, Adeptus 2, huh? Didn't think she was your little sister."

Shido's eyes widen. "Adeptus 2? As in... DEM's Adeptus 2? Are you saying Mana works for DEM!?"

My face turns serious, while Origami's gaze darkens. "So, you know about DEM, Shido?" She asks, calling him by his first name instead of "Itsuka-kun".

"Kotori told me about them. She said that they're Wizard are the best in the world."

"Yeah, but the company itself is bad new bears." Yoshinon says. "The AST hunt down Spirits to stop the Spacequakes. DEM, however, hunt us down because they want to take our powers."

Shido and Tohka gasp. "They're after our powers?" The Pure Spirit asks.

"Yeah, and they're willing to do anything to get it." Origami says. "I know this personally."

At that moment, Shido's eyes widen as if remembering something. "That terrorist organization that Yoshino and Kurumi saved you from... That was DEM, wasn't it!?"

"That's right." I nod. "Their CEO, Isaac Ray Peram Wescott, sent his strongest Wizard to kill Origami's parents and kidnap her in order to lure me to them and capture me, all because she was one of the children I saved during the Tenguu Fire."

"And you did take the bait as they expected." Kotori says as she comes down, wearing her black ribbons. "What they didn't expect was that you'd be strong enough to overpower Mathers."

"Yep. We kicked her butt!" Yoshinon says proudly.

"Wescott. I still remember him." Origami says darkly. "That man... No, he's not a man. He's a monster wearing human skin. He's truly dangerous, and not only that, he wants to use the Spirits' powers to drive humanity to extinction."

"He wants to make humanity go extinct!?" Shido gasps, horrified by the reveal.

Kotori grits her teeth. "All this time, we were wondering about DEM's true motives... and it turns out to be far worse than we expected."

"If they're sending their second best here, then it's likely a sign that they're going to start making moves." Miyoi warns. "We should prepare ourselves. Saving all the Spirits is not going to be easy from now on."

Miyoi's right. Dealing with DEM is not going to be easy, and what's worse is that even with all of this, Mio is waiting for her chance to strike.

Hopefully with my future knowledge, I can lead everyone down the right path and save everyone.

Mana makes her debut, and Shido learns just how dangerous DEM really is.
