Chapter Six – The Prevention and the Cure
The Fords apartment, New York City, New York
Bianca Belair packed up the last of her things while Perfection Ford sat on the window seat of her bedroom, waiting for her mother to finish. Her stuff was already in the car outside, they were moving in with Finn Balor and Becky Lynch for a few months. Becky and Finn had bought a new place just outside of the city in Suffolk County. Technically, it was on Long Island but Finn and Becky didn't spend enough time there to call the LI their home. They were going back and forth constantly, moving in and out of New York City, from the God Girls' apartment on Central Park, to the Ortons, and then back to Suffolk County. Their feet barely touched the ground plus now they were helping Bianca and Perfection move out of the Ford apartment in Midtown New York City.
The God Girls did suggest Bianca and Perfection move in with them but given how close their apartments were to Midtown, Bianca thought it would be best if her and Perfection moved out of the city completely. It looked as though she was running away, as though moving further away from her soon-to-be ex-husband was her only option and staying close to the God Girls and the Ortons was not.
"You're gonna love Finn and Becky's place Perfection. They've got a beautiful garden and we're not far from the Hamptons. We can go to the beach, wouldn't that be fun, you and me at the beach?" Bianca said to her daughter after packing her last bag.
Perfection nodded while looking out of the window over the sprawling city that had been her home for over three years. It looked as if she was waiting for someone to come for her. Eventually, she turned to her mother who came over and kissed her daughter on the head.
"Are you and Uncle Seth going to get married now?" she asked her Mom and Bianca smiled.
"No Perfection, Seth's already married. You know that, why would you ask me that?" Bianca replied. "When two people get married, they don't just walk out on their marriage because they're having problems. Marriage is a covenant, your father might not understand that but I sure do. Seth and Sasha made a promise to love and cherish each other no matter what and they're gonna stick to that agreement until the day they die,"
Perfection unlocked her phone and showed her Mom the latest clip that was going viral of Havana Rollins turning into a human fireball in Downtown Los Angeles.
"Mom, I have never seen Havana get so Combusted. Hav's in pain and she needs help. If you don't love Uncle Seth then why can't you go to LA and help him calm her down?" Perfection said and she jumped down off the window seat pocketing her phone. "I got so many calls from Havana before this happened and all I could say to her was that I was moving to some island outside of the city. I should have been there Mom, Hav can't handle what's going on with her parents. She knows that her parents' marriage is ending and she's acting out through Combustion,"
"Seth and Sasha's marriage is not ending," Bianca said.
"Yes it is Mom," Perfection replied.
"I said it is not ending," Bianca said firmly.
"Then why did you leave Uncle Seth and Havana when they needed you the most? If you really don't love Uncle Seth, then why are you trying so hard to avoid him?" Perfection said. "Why can't you two stay in the same room without fireworks going off all around you?"
"Alright Perfection, I know you're upset about Havana but she has two parents and they can take care of her. All you have right now is me, you are my only priority and I have to take care of you right now," Bianca said.
"How are you going to take care of me Mom, by running away? I thought God Girls were supposed to be brave, why are you letting Hav's Mom get the better of you? She tried to destroy you for three years and now you're acting like she's entitled to do whatever she wants because she's married to Uncle Seth," Perfection said and Bianca tried to talk some sense into her young daughter who clearly didn't understand grown up relationships.
"I know you care about your friend Perfection but your father is trying to take you away from me and I have to make sure that you're in a safe environment, so if a judge questions my parenting they can see that I am doing everything I can to make sure that you're in the best possible care with me," Bianca said.
"I don't care about any of that, I care about you Mom. For three years, I didn't know you. Hav's Mom tried to take you away from me and Dad lied about you the whole time you were in that coma. If he wants to move on with Aunty Rhea, there ain't a judge on this planet that can force me to live with them," Perfection said.
"I don't want you to hate your father, please don't disrespect him like that," Bianca said. "He did look after you for three years Perfection, and you will always be his daughter. Now can we please stop talking about this? Becky and Finn are waiting outside, so let's go,"
Perfection folded her arms, planted her feet and rested against her bedroom window.
"I'm not going to Long Island," she said firmly and Bianca furrowed her brow. "I spoke to Abiyah Reigns and he told me that Aunty Sasha hates him, that she hates her own son. I'm not leaving Havana with that woman,"
"Perfection, what are you talking about?" Bianca said as a small figure drew closer to her daughter's window from the sky. As the figure came closer, Bianca realised who it was and he wasn't alone. "Perfection, what's going on?"
Meanwhile outside of the Fords' apartment, Becky Lynch looked up at the sky while Finn Balor looked at his watch.
"What is taking B and Perfection so long, I wanna beat the traffic before we get to the Long Island Expressway," Finn said.
"Why don't you go grab a coffee babe?" Becky said walking up the steps to the Fords apartment.
"Aren't we about to leave?" Finn asked his wife confused and Becky shook her head.
"I think there's been a slight change of plans," she replied and she kissed her husband on the cheek before heading upstairs to the apartment where things were about to go in a whole new direction for Seth and the God Girls.
When Becky entered the Fords' apartment, Bianca was having a heated argument with her daughter who was standing alongside Abiyah Reigns, Rebecca Rogan Orton and Faith Star Michaels. It was a DX Bloodline kid assembly and a meeting between the children was now in session.
"Daddy let me come here after what he saw on RAW last night," Abiyah told Bianca. "Daddy said that 'Tez is "tripping", which I think is something old people say, when they see something that shouldn't be happening,"
"I talked to my Daddy and he said I could come over with Abiyah," Rebecca Rogan said. "He spoke to Grandpa and Grandma Orton and they said that something's not right with Uncle 'Tez. They said he should have gone back to normal after winning the Universal Championship and that marrying Aunty Rhea was a change of plans,"
"Your grandparents said that?" Bianca asked Rebecca Rogan who nodded, her grandparents being the prophetic Randy Orton and Trish Stratus Orton. "But your grandparents told me that 'Tez was going to leave me, they already knew what was going to happen. Are you saying something changed again?"
Faith Star furrowed her brow at Bianca Belair, "Wow, you really are out of the loop Aunty B," she said unimpressed with Bianca's lack of insight. "You're supposed to be Uncle Seth's Treasurer of Secrets, you're the only one out of all of us who should know about this already,"
"That's what I've been telling you guys," Perfection said. "My Mom is so caught up in this whole "I can't be around Uncle Seth right now" thing, that's she's ignoring her instincts just so she won't look like she's trying to cause a rift between Uncle Seth and Aunty Sasha,"
Abiyah smiled at Bianca Belair, "I know why you're running away Miss B," he said with the standard Reigns charm. "It took me a long time to accept it too but I have now and I can see that you're having a hard time letting go of your past. That's why we're all here. We know what's going on with Havana, she's our friend, we all hang out together and we care about her so much. She has a Gift from God that has now been contaminated and if we don't stop my Mom, it's going to get worse,"
"Contaminated - that's a big word for a seven year-old," Becky said taking Bianca by surprise.
"Gees Becky, how long have you been standing there?" she asked the Man.
"I was waiting for you to come downstairs so we could head out but clearly, you ain't going nowhere until you've heard what the Lil' Big Dog has to say," Becky said. "Finn's grabbing a coffee, he'll be up in a minute,"
Bianca furrowed her brow at Becky, "You left Finn alone?" she asked and Becky shrugged off her concern and Perfection could see that her Mom had just gotten a message from God.
"Mom, we can't leave the city," she said. "That's what Abi came here to tell you,"
"As I was saying Miss B, my Mom will destroy her own family by any means necessary, if there's even the slightest hint of the God Girls being involved in their lives now that Uncle 'Tez is the new Universal Champion," Abiyah said.
"So that means instead of running away from her," Rebecca Rogan said.
"You have to lead her straight to you," Faith Star added. "My Aunt Aurora just flew me here from Los Angeles and she said that Havana Rollins is coming here right now,"
Bianca couldn't believe it, "Havana's coming to see me?" she said. "But why, I did everything I could to stay away from her father, why is she coming for me? This is outrageous!"
Becky gasped, "Havana Rollins is coming to the city, move kids, go downstairs and get in the car!" she cried and she looked up at Bianca. "What did God tell you about Finn, is he alright?"
"We need to find him. The Ortons are already downstairs. Havana's so pissed, Becky you were right, I've been playing this all wrong," Bianca said. "Let's go get Finn I'll explain on the way,"
Becky opened the door to Finn's car and the children piled in while the Ortons told them where to find Finn Balor.
"BAE's gone after him, the Undertaker caused a distraction at Starbucks and now he's got Finn cornered by the Hudson," Trish said as Randy got into Finn's car to drive the kids back to the Ortons' apartment.
"Sorry kids but it looks like you're going to have to miss all the fun," Randy said before calling out the window to his wife. "Trish let's go, Havana's on her way!"
Bianca and Becky called the other God Girls and headed towards the Hudson while the Ortons led the children to safety, or as safe as they could be with a Combusted Havana Rollins on her way from Los Angeles.
Hurricane Aurora Rose Helmsley was also on her way to the East Coast, she was flying her sister Lisa and brother-in-law Cameron over using her Gift of Flight. Next to them was a very angry child with her parents, who were also airbourne flying on the back of a giant California condor. It seemed that Havana had a pet of her own that she attracted when her parents took her to the zoo in Santa Monica to help calm her down.
The California condor was on the endangered species list and that made Havana want it more, because she knew what it felt like to be endangered. She thought Bianca Belair was putting her on the endangered species list by splitting up her family and she was out for blood. Before Seth could stop her, she had entered the bird sanctuary almost fully Combusted and the bird morphed, changing from its dark brown plumage to a fiery red standout that also breathed fire and grew to eight times its original size. The giant condor listened to Havana who persuaded it not to eat the other birds, or concerned staff members at the zoo.
"I understand what it feels like to be endangered, come with me and help me save my family from extinction and I'll save your family too," she said before boarding the condor much to Sasha's delight and Seth's abhorrence. But Seth wasn't able to stop Havana, after all, she was mad at him and the last thing he wanted was to make his already enraged daughter even madder. Havana wanted to destroy Bianca Belair and now she had the fire breathing condor to do it!
"Gees I really hoped our family day went better than this," Seth said to Sasha who appeared to be right at home on the plumes of the giant condor, affectionately named Connie. "Are you sunbathing?!" Seth asked Sasha as she stretched out on Connie's back on her ivory fur coat in a red bikini.
"What better time to get some sun? Our daughter's like 100F right now. I might as-well make the most of it. After all, I'm not the one she's mad at, she's defending my honour. You could learn a lot from Havana on how to be loyal Seth. Now I get the pleasure of watching Connie pluck each one of Bianca's ugly eyes out!"
The condor let out a giant squawk, sending the other birds in the other direction. Her wings were hot like fire and Havana was perfectly at home on her. Having Connie focussed her rage but it also sent distress signals into the Heavenlies and ATM, the DX family and the God Girls were all on high alert.
Seth really needed Shawl but there was no way he was letting his flying prayer shawl anywhere near Connie. Havana was Hell-bent on fixing her parents' marriage and once they got to New York and found the God Girls, it was on.
