Chapter 9
Saying goobye and rallying the troops.
In the morning after breakfast. Athena and Victor left to go to encampment. Lilith packed her bags and took Luz and King to the owl house. Once back at the encampment Athena went to her home. And Victor gathered some men to go get the statues. The group of men found the statues. They carefully picked them up and took them to Gwendolyn and Dell's house. Once at the Clawthorne house they put the statues down. Dell looked at the statues and said "That's Eda and Raine alright." Before the group of men left Dell asked "Victor can I ask you and your men something?" Victory nodded and replied "Sure you can Mr. Clawthorne."
Dell sighed sadly and asked "I know that they are statues but. I would like to build coffins for them. But I can't do it alone could you help me?" Victor looked at the men and they nodded. Then Victor replied "Yes we will help you." At Athena's wild witch encampment. A white haired crystal blue eyed woman named Iris. Is walking by where Athena lives and hear crying. Worried that something is wrong with the leader. She went into Athena's home and followed the crying. Iris found Athena in her bedroom with a picture in her hand. The woman sat next to Athena and asked "Athena what's wrong?" Iris saw the picture in Athena's hand. It's a picture of Athena with her parents.
Iris was about to ask again what is wrong.
"My Mother and Father sacrificed themselves. To stop Emperor Belos." balled Athena
"Oh my Titan Athena I am so sorry." gaped Iris
Iris looked around and didn't see Victor. So she asked "Where is Victor? Athena sniffled and replied "He and a few of the men. Are helping my Grandfather." Iris gave Athena a hug and asked "Where will they be buried?" Athena sighed sadly and replied "They will be buried at the Clawthorne family cemetery." Iris stayed with Athena for a while then she left. Then she gathered all of the witches in the encampment. Once she gathered everyone she got in front of them.
"What do you need Iris?" asked a man
"Our leader is in great pain right now. She lost her Mother and Father. I don't know about you I want to do something for her." announced Iris
Mutters and oh my Titans came from the crowd. Then a man said "We can make a headstone for her parents. And go to the Clawthorne family cemetery and dig a hole." Iris smiled and said "That sounds like a wonderful idea. Let's get to work." With that said they all got to work. Two weeks have passed and the coffins are done. Eda's statue was put in one coffin. And Raine's statue was put into the other. Athena is at her grandparent's house. Lilith, Luz, and King are there as well. The family has noticed that Owlbert isn't anywhere to be found. They figure since Eda is gone he went to Bat Queen's forest. Victory, Dell, and the men from encampment.
Picked up the coffins and headed toward the Clawthorne family cemetery. Soon they arrived at the Clawthorne cemetery. They saw that there is a large headstone. And can see that a large was dug.
"Wow the Titan did this?" asked Athena
Just then they saw balls of light appeared and headed toward them. Then they saw witches in black clothes and cloaks. It's the witches from Athena's encampment. Iris went up to Athena and said "We did this for you. We wanted to do something to help our leader. And if you need us for anything just let us know." Athena smiled a bit and said "Thank you all so much." With that said and out of the way. Both coffins were put into the large hole. Then the men filled the hole with dirt. Then the woman used their magic and had grass and flowers grow. After that Gwendolyn, Dell, Lilith, Athena, King, and Luz. Took turns talking about Eda and Raine.
Then they had a moment of silence. As things came to an end Lilith. Wen over to Athena and asked "Athena I know you don't like or trust me but. Are there any other wild witch encampments other than yours?" Athena doesn't feel like talking to Lilith. But her mother was willing to forgive Lilith. So Athena is thinking about doing the same. Athena sighed and replied "Yes there are three other encampments." Lilith nodded and said "We need to get as many witches together. So maybe we can finish what Eda and Raine started. And take out Emperor Belos and the coven heads." Surprised at what her Aunt just said. Athena said "I agree Aunt Lilith. Emperor Belos has taken too much. From not only our family but the Boiling Isles as a whole."
Lilith smiled a bit and said "That's the spirit dear." Just before leaving Athena said "I'll meet with the other. Wild witch encampment leaders. To see if we can get a rebellion going." Lilith nodded and said "Sounds good let me know how it goes." Athena also nodded and she, Victor, and the witches from her encampment left. Gwendolyn and Dell also left. Lilith said one more goodbye to Eda. Then she gathered Luz and King and went to the owl house. A couple of days later Athena has just gotten back home. She has met and talked with the leaders of the other wild witch encampments. Luckily all three leaders agree that Belos and the coven heads. Need to be taken down for good.
They also agree to combine their encampments with hers. The leaders were also sad to hear about. The passing of Athena's parents. Now that Athena is back home. She wrote a letter to Lilith and gave it to Zeus. Athena smiled and said "Please take this to Aunt Lilith Zeus." The hawk owl hooted and flew off. Athena sighed, sat down, and got comfortable. Just then Victor came into the room. He got a chair and sat in front of Athena. Victor took off Athena's shoes then started rubbing her left foot. At the owl house Zeus has arrived with a letter from Athena. He found Lilith and she took the letter from him. She read the letter and smiled. Then she grabbed a piece of paper and wrote a letter.
She gave it to Zeus and the hawk owl left. Zeus arrived back at Athena's house. Just as Victor finished rubbing Athena's right foot. Zeus landed on a perch next to Athena. And gave her the letter that he has for her. Athena read the letter and smiled. Victor saw Athena smiled and asked "What does Lilith have to say?" Athena looked at Victor and replied "She's glad that the leaders of the other wild witch encampments. Are joining our cause. And she's has been in talks with witches. At the night market, Palm Stings, and the toes. And has gotten some of them to join us." Victor nodded and said "That's good to hear."
