Chapter 8 Phennyland
Saki's POV

After spending the whole week practicing, Youthful/Friends tried playing that Miku song once more.

"How was that", Ichika asked when we were done.

"Much better", Airi replied. "I mean, you can definitely tell that we're amateurs, but we actually sounded kind of good."

"Hooray", I exclaimed happily. "We did it!"

"We did", Ena said. "Good job, everyone."

"Indeed", I agreed. "And as an award for all of our hard work, tomorrow…we're off to Phennyland!"

The Next Day

Ichika and I had had arrived at the train station, where we found Airi and Ena waiting for us.

"Good morning, Airi-Senpai and Ena-Senpai", I greeted.

"Good morning, Saki and Ichika", Airi greeted. "Now then, are you girls ready for Phoenix Wonderland!"

"Of course I am", I replied excitedly. "I haven't been to Phennyland since I was a kid! I used to go all the time with my parents and big brother."

"Well then, what are we waiting for", Airi asked. "Youthful/Friends, to Phoenix Wonderland!"

We were now in Phoenix Wonderland, where we had just taken a photo together by a face panel.

"Let me see how it looks", I said as I rushed to look at the photo on Ena's phone.

"We look kind weird, don't we", she asked.

"Maybe, but we now have a fun memory to look back at", Airi stated.

"Airi-Senpai is right", I agreed. "This is the first group photo of Youthful/Friends. We must cherish this special memory!"

"If you say so", Ena said. "Anyway, what should we do next?"

"I'm not sure", Ichika replied. "Anybody got any ideas?"

"Ooo, ooo! I've got one", I exclaimed when I suddenly remembered something. "Why don't we go to the Trampoline Dome?!"

"The Trampoline Dome", Airi asked.

"I remember that one", Ichika revealed. "It was your favourite attraction as a kid, wasn't it Saki?"

"It was", I replied excitedly. "I would love to get to try it out again!"

"I don't know", Ena said. "Aren't we all a little too old for something like that?"

"No we're not", I stated. "This band is all about enjoying our youth to the fullest, remember?"

"Good point", Ena said. "Okay, let's do it then."

"Yippie", I exclaimed, before grabbing onto my friends' hands. "Youthful/Friends, to the Trampoline Dome!"

We had arrived at the Trampoline Dome…and my eyes lit up in awe.

"It looks just like it did when I was a kid", I said happily.

"It does", Ichika replied.

Then, I grabbed onto her hand.

"Come on, Ichi-Chan", I said excitedly. "Let's go!"

With this, I pulled Ichika to the nearest trampoline, and we began jumping on it.

"Come and join us, Airi-Senpai and Ena-Senpai", I instructed.

"I'm actually not sure about this", Ena said, before taking a look around. "There's mostly just little kids here."

"What's the matter, grandma", Airi asked Ena teasingly. "Worried your hip will break on the trampoline?"

"Why you…", Ena said angrily. "I'll show you whose a grandma!"

With this, Ena grabbed onto Airi's hand and pulled her onto the trampoline we were on.

"Airi-Senpai, grabbed my hand", I instructed as I held out my hand, which Airi took. Ichika then grabbed onto Ena's hand, and we were now all jumping together in a circle.

"This is so much fun", I said happily.

Then, I looked up at Airi and Ena…and imagined them as two other friends of mine.

When I did…I suddenly stopped jumping.

"Saki, are you okay", Airi asked. "What's the matter?"

"You're not feeling unwell, are you", Ichika asked in concern.

"Actually, I am feeling a bit tired", I lied.

"Then we should probably stop", Ichika said, before looking at Airi and Ena. "Even though Saki has gotten a lot better, she still needs to be careful not to overdo it."

"Oh, okay", Ena said. "Let's stop then."

"Why don't we get something to eat next", Airi suggested.

"Good idea, Airi-Senpai", Ichika said. "Come on, Saki. Let's go."

With that, Ichika held tightly onto my hand as she carefully led me off of the trampoline.

I felt bad for making her think I was feeling unwell, but I felt like she'd be even more worried if she realised I was feeling down about something.
