Here's another chapter and I think this one will be very interesting for you guys to read, honestly in the show Cheetah was given 1 episode and 1 short and not much else, but I wanna evolve the character here so, let's start with…
Meet The Cheetah
It was a new day in Metropolis, after the establishment of the new lair, the Teen Titans were officially doing patrols on the city, each day after school with a unique schedule
However today was a Sunday, what would be a day of relaxation was a new day for the titans to train, currently Izuku was testing his limits on his planet-like alien, Gravattack, graciously named by Batgirl as he transformed back to human after training as the rocky alien.
"So, h-how was that?" Izuku asked as the girls had watched him train.
"It was amazing! Gravvattack really has no limit on what his gravity powers can carry" Batgirl explained as they had done said testing by having Gravattack use his gravity powers on many broken cars, an excavator, a truck, boulders filling the truck and then stacking all of them in the truck like a tower, and Gravattack lifted them all with ease thanks to his powers.
"Alright, that's 6 aliens you've been training with, can we please see the remaining 4? You haven't even tried using them ever since you first used Gravattack and Big Chill" Supergirl said with impatience.
While Izuku did want to do some training with all of his aliens, he wanted to be sure he got enough manoeuvres, he thought of a great deal with Big Chill and Gravattack as well as his other aliens he had used previously, that and he was nervous about using the remaining 4 aliens
"I'm sure my Champion is just trying to perfect the alien transformations he has already used and wants to be prepared" Wonder Woman said.
"I like to think it's like my performances, practice makes perfect" Zatanna said as she flipped her hair.
"Zee-san is right, practising with the aliens I have can go a long way Kara-san" Izuku said as he began to explain, "That and ever since I first used my quirk WITH my aliens like XLR8 against Lena's mech suit it felt like I could use more of my power, same with Gravattack when I destroyed the giant robot attacking the city and mutter mutter mutter mutter…" Izuku started muttering as most of the girls couldn't help but give deadpan looks at this, already accustomed to Izuku's muttering.
Green Lantern created a small hand construct that tapped Izuku as he stopped muttering from the recent contact, "Izuku I get you want to be prepared, but what if you need to use one of those aliens in a situation your other aliens can't be used?" she asked.
"R-Right, sorry" Izuku said as his watch glowed green again, "Alright, I-I'll try a new one" Izuku said as he scrolled through the silhouettes.
"Alright, try and choose something with some fight in them, I wanna do some sparring" Kara said as she cracked her knuckles in preparation while the others, besides Diana, rolled their eyes at their combat craving teammate.
As Izuku finally chose a silhouette he wasn't familiar with, it had a strong body type and looked humanoid as he then pressed the core down, a green light enveloping him.
The watch sank into his arm before his veins bulge from his skin before the bulging veins reached to his face, soon afterwards his eyes glowed bright green, his muscle mass grew as orange and black striped fur grew all over his body, white fur covering his stomach and muscled chest and he began gaining white fur on his now clawed hands and feet, he then also grew a large black claw from his knuckles before he let out a loud tiger like roar and pounced towards the fourth wall.
After the light died down the girls now saw Izuku as a large and very strong looking tiger-like humanoid alien, having the watch's symbol on his chest and black fur around his eyes, acting like a fierce domino mask that was a part of his face.
"RAAAAAAAAAATH!" He yelled loudly, his voice was gruff and deep as he growled.
"WHOA-HO-HO! Izuku is a tiger!" Barbara exclaimed excitedly.
"Huh, I feel like I've seen this alien species before" Jess said as she brought up her ring to figure out what Izuku had turned into.
"Well whatever he is, he looks awesome!" Kara said as she flew around Izuku and stood in front of the tiger man, "Whaddya say man? Wanna see what this guy can do-" Before Kara could continue Izuku suddenly threw a punch at her, because she wasn't prepared for this, she was sent flying into a car wreck, which made all the girls gasp at this, they didn't expect Izuku to throw the first hit.
Supergirl quickly burst out as she looked pretty angry at this, "Hey dude! What's your deal?! I wasn't ready!" She said before charging in with flight, however Izuku had grabbed her and when she saw his face, he looked somehow even more pissed than her.
"You wanna go, Kara Danvers?! LETS GO!" Izuku exclaimed before throwing her over him and into another wreck before shoulder tackling her deeper into the wreck.
"U-Um, is it me or does he sound really, really angry?" Bumblebee asked nervously as Izuku started to pummel Kara in the wreck while still looking furious.
"Somethings wrong, Izuku isn't the type to be angry for nothing," Jess said worryingly as Diana instantly jumped into the action as she used her lasso of truth to wrap around Izuku as the tiger alien looked surprised before glaring at the Amazon.
"My Champion, what is wrong with you? Why are you so angry?" she asked as Izuku struggled in the lasso.
"Grr, Lemme tell ya something Diana Prince, AKA Princess Diana of Themyscira! AKA Wonder Woman! Rath wanted a fight and Super Girl AKA Kara Danvers wanted to fight too, SO RATH IS GIVING HER A FIGHT!" Izuku, now declaring himself as Rath said before he grabbed the lasso on his end and started to turn, which swung Diana around before she was sent flying into the side of a crane.
The lasso loosened as Rath slipped out before he was suddenly tackled from behind by Super Girl as she tried restraining him, grabbing him from under his arms.
"Round 2 Tiger man! Nobody tries to pummel Supergirl without losing a few teeth!" Kara stated before Rath grappled onto her before he smirked at her.
"How about this Kara Danvers?!" Rath exclaimed as he leapt up high and fell backwards, headfirst as Kara braced herself.
"TAMARANIAN MOONSAULT!" Rath exclaimed as they crashed down on the ground, before he got up and saw Kara wasn't prepared for that as she was slightly dazed, before he could admire more, a smoke bomb was thrown at his face as he cough before seeing Batgirl now taking him on as she threw her bat-arangs at him, to which he used his massive claws to slice them in half, in mid air as he growled at her as she laughed nervously.
"W-Would ya believe I threw those on accident?" she asked with a nervous smile.
"Lemme tell ya something Batgirl! AKA Barbara Gordon! Daughter of James Gordon who is former Commissioner of GCPD! Rath knew those weren't an accident as you train with batarangs everyday! AND THOSE WEREN'T ACCIDENT THROWS!" Rath yelled before a purple blast of energy was shot at his face, afterwards Rath blew out a puff of smoke and fell backwards, Batgirl turned to see it was Zatanna who had shot that energy blast at Rath.
"What?" Zatanna asked, "He wasn't going to listen anyway" She said as her excuse
A few minutes later as everyone had recovered from Rath's outburst, Rath woke up, now in an energy bubble, courtesy of Green Lantern as he glared at the girls who were outside the bubble.
"He's awake" Diana stated as Supergirl glared at the tiger alien.
"Why are we keeping him in there? I want payback after that Tamaranian Moonsault he pulled on me…still wondering how he knows that in the first place" Supergirl said, clearly not happy after Rath had managed to take her on easily.
"Hah! You can't beat Rath with random punches and throws Kara Danvers! Rath is the BEST at fighting!" Rath declared as he flexed his arms with a toothy grin.
"Well he's not wrong" Jess said as she showed a energy construct showing text aswell as a picture of Raths species, "Appoplexians, that's what Izuku-"
"Rath!"
"...That's what Rath is, the species are known as the galaxy's best combat fighters and are able to take on many other races with ease, however they tend to trade brain for brawn almost constantly, one of their own mottos is "Fight first, Insult next, ask questions Next week"" Jess explained.
"That would explain his brutish behaviour right now" Zatanna said as Rath crossed his arms with an angry glare.
"Can I get out now? I'm bored! And hungry!" Rath complained.
"How long has it been since he's transformed?" Bumblebee asked.
"I think its been 8 minutes" Supergirl said in an unsure tone.
"Lemme tell ya something Kara Danvers, its been approximately 9 minutes and 13 seconds since I transformed" Rath stated, gaining surprised looks from the girls, "...What?!".
"Uh I thought you said Raths species traded brains for brawn" Barbara asked.
"Hmm, perhaps Izuku's intelligent and analytical mind is still shining through this powerful and brash warrior race" Diana hypothesised before the watch's symbol started beeping and flashing red before Rath was engulfed in a red light, returning to Izuku as he rubbed his head.
"Ugh…man that was weird" he complained as the bubble was absorbed into Jessica's ring.
"My champion, are you alright?" Diana asked in concern.
"Y-Yeah I'm fine, but I think Rath was a bit of a hard one to control to be honest" Izuku said as he stared at the watch in concern.
"Well I guess we'll need to be careful not choosing Rath for some delicate missions huh?" Supergirl said bluntly as the others gave her deadpan looks, "What?"
Later on after the watch recharged, Izuku was about to test another alien as he turned the dial on the watch, coming across a silhouette of another humanoid creature but was oddly shaped, deciding this was next, he pressed the core down and the green light absorbed him once more.
When the light died down, standing in Izuku's place was an alien that was very unusual, it was dressed in a suit of armor that was mostly red with black metal around the arms and legs with silver metal covering the torso, however the more noticeable parts was the tubes of water attached to its arms, head and mouth piece as he wore a black domino mask over his green eyes, the watche's symbol was on his chest.
"Whoa! Check me out!" he exclaimed, his voice sounding more chipper and echoey, as if he was in some kind of chamber.
"So what can this guy do?" Kara asked.
"Judging from the many tubes of water on his body, I deduce his powers must have something to do with water that also require this sturdy looking suit, perhaps for underwater adventures!" Barbara explained as she invaded Izuku's personal space once more and she inspected parts of his new body with a magnifying glass.
Decided to test out what it could do, Izuku held his arms up and thought about the water in him, suddenly two streams of water shot out of some holes on his arms as the water immediately filled in a nearby mountain of old bathtubs that were there for some reason, each tub was filled to the brim with water as it became a junk water fountain of sorts.
"Whoa, you basically overflowed all of those tubs" Jess pointed out.
"Yeah…yeah! Overflow! I like it, thanks Jess-san!" Izuku, now named Overflow, said with a thumbs up to her as she blushed from his gratitude, before he gained a new idea, "I wonder if…" He spoke before pointing his arms downwards, before shooting the water straight down, what then happened was he shot up into the air, propelled by the water streams as he flew around, "WOOHOO!".
Barbara gasped loudly as she had an excited look on her face, "HE'S A LIVING WATER JET PACK!" She exclaimed as she ran after him and jumped in the air, hopelessly trying to reach onto him, "LET ME RIDE YOU DUDE! I ALWAYS WANTED TO RIDE A WATER JET PACK!" She exclaimed as she kept chasing him.
Later after Batgirl had managed to convince Overflow to ride him as she had some fun using him as a jetpack experience, he timed out and was ready to test a new alien as Barbara was using a towel to dry off, since chasing a living water gun of an alien lead to her getting splashed in the face with water more than once.
"Well at least we'll know what alien you'll use when Summer comes along" Zee stated, "I just hope you're not the type to get super competitive in a water fight darling".
"I-I don't think I am, never been in one before" Izuku said as he scrolled through the silhouettes, "Then again with Overflow, that might change" he said as he came across the last 2 silhouettes in his watch, the one he chose seemed to have a strange shaped head, he then pressed the core down as green light absorbed him once more.
The watch sunk unto his arm before the skin around his arms turn grey and his hands grow twice as large, then the rest of his skin turned grey while his head reshaped, with his eyes changing too, his iris become rectangular before he started to shrink down in size, his feet had turned into 3 toed grey feet while he had 4 digit hands, his hair disappearing but he still kept his freckles on his face as he finally stopped shrinking.
As the light died down, it was revealed he had shrunk down to the size of a soda can as he now wore a green jumpsuit that didn't cover his hands and feet with a black stripe going down the middle, the watch's symbol was on his back.
"Well…this is certainly different" Izuku said as the girls had noticed his new size.
"Huh, he looks like the little grey aliens in old school movies" Barbara stated as she knelt down, examining Izuku's new form.
"Oh! I know this species" Jess exclaimed, "They are known as Galvan, they are the smartest race of aliens in many galaxies".
"So he's got a nerd alien? He's smart enough ain't he?" Kara asked.
"Hmm well if my increased intellect is a natural thing for the Galvan species, then perhaps bypassing certain electrical components of any mechanical foes should be a breeze with the right decimal code bypass or the input of numbered sequence, perhaps even finding specific pressure points on a living being can leave them paralysed and I'm just realising I have said this all with a straight face" Izuku finished with a now shocked look.
"Incredible, this alien despite its minuscule size has been blessed with the intelligence and wisdom of Athena" Diana said in admiration.
"So what are you going to call this one?" Zee asked, "Brainiac?"
"Oh how about Brain power!" Barbara suggested.
"Actually I think I have the appropriate name" Izuku said, gaining the girl's attention, "I shall name this transformation Grey Matter, 1 to relate to the transformations grey skin and 2, to reference the matter made inside a brain!" Izuku, now as Grey Matter said.
Grey Matter soon tested not just his smarts but his own strengths in this form as he learned he could easily scale up walls and stick to surfaces with no issues, and thanks to his small size it made it easier for stealth as he managed to hide from the girls without Supergirls vision powers.
After he timed out, Izuku was finally down to his last alien as he scrolled to the silhouette, it seemed strange as what he assumed was its body had a triangular shape to it while having wings, but since it was last alien he needed to test, so as the core lifted up, he slammed it down as the green light consumed him once more.
After the light died down the girls looked to see what Izuku had turned into, only to be left with shocked expressions.
"Well? Prrrr~ How do I look?" Izuku asked, only now his voice was higher and…feminine?.
Standing in Izuku's place was an alien that was pretty short, not as short as Grey Matter, only about reaching to say the girls hips with light blue skin, four pink and purple translucent wings on the back and with a, feminine body, which was mostly hidden by a new green and black striped dress the alien was wearing except for the obvious hips and big breasts which was shown by a small boob window in the dress, the alien also wore white gloves and had no shoes, showing its two toed feet, the alien also had a pink perma-blush on its cheeks with a pink line on its chin, with long blue hair styled upwards.
The girls were shocked which then lead to Kara starting to snicker as the others couldn't exactly find the words.
"U-Um, w-well you look, well…" Jess nervously said.
"Look what?" Izuku asked.
"Well you seem to have, transformed into, uh…" Zee tried to say before Kara couldn't take it anymore.
"Izuku turned into a chick!" She said as she started to laugh, which made Izuku's eyes widened.
"What?!" Izuku exclaimed before he used his new wings, which gave off a pink dust as he flew to a nearby unbroken mirror, "PRRRRR~ W-W-WHAT?!"
As Kara laughed with Jess glaring at her, the Green Lantern was trying to find data on this alien while the others tried to comfort Izuku.
"I-I'm sure its ok Izuku" Bumblebee said.
"Yeah, I mean I'm sure this alien has gotta have some awesome powers, despite turning you into a girl" Barbara said trying to comfort him.
"Prrrr~ Is there any positive about this?!" Izuku complained as he felt strange in the new alien form.
"Well maybe, I just found out what it is" Jess said as she read a file from her wing, "You turned into a Nemuina, they are an single gender species with the ability to fly and able to manipulate the mindscape when the target is not conscious, basically you can see and control someones dreams, especially with a sleep inducing energy you manipulate from the dust you create" Jess explained as Izuku felt embarrassed it was an all female species, but when he, or she, heard Dream manipulation and sleep inducing energy, she smirked as the small alien looked to Kara who was recovering from her laughing, only to see Izuku smirking at her with a mischievous look.
"Haha uh, w-whats with the look?" she asked.
"I think its payback time~ prrr!" Izuku said as in her gloved hand, a small ball of energy was formed before she fired it as a beam at Kara, which the beam hit the Kryptonian girls head before she quickly dozed off and fell asleep.
"Wow, it worked! Now lets see what Supergirls prrrrr~ dreaming about!" Izuku said as she flew over to Kara and gently placed her hands on her head, soon Izuku was now seeing the kryptonians dreams as she saw Supergirl was before a crowd of people cheering for her, with Superman even bowing to her and she was basking in the attention, "Wow, for someone who thought being a hero caused her trouble, she REALLY loves the attention, even more than Zee-San" Izuku said before leaving the dream.
In the waking world Izuku flew away before Kara jolted awake.
"Wha-Huh?!" she looked to Izuku who was giving a smug grin, "...Ok 1, don't do that again, and 2, I'm sorry for laughing, but come on you turned into a girl how can I not find that funny?".
"So with that done, whats the name of this one?" Zee asked.
"Why not Dreamcatcher?" Jess suggested, "like the little things you put over your bed to ward away nightmares".
"Or maybe Sleep Fairy? Cause Izuku looks like a fairy!" Barbara said.
"Hmmm, hows about…Pesky Dust" Izuku said.
"Pesky Dust?" Diana asked.
"Yeah, I think with this form it fits, plus I can't stop making this dust ya know" Pesky Dust said as her wings showed the dust constantly being formed.
"Fair enough, so that's all 10 forms tested out, now lets get to thinking on combos!" Barbara exclaimed.
The Next Day
It was now Monday as everyone in Metropolis High was starting a new day, however the sound of a roaring engine soon came approaching the school before a Golden yellow convertible car drove in and parked itself in the student parking area, before the driver of the car got out of the car, gaining the attention of many of the students in and out of the school building.
The driver was a 17-year-old girl with dark blond hair done up in a ponytail. She had amber colored eyes with black mascara around them and red eyeshadow. She had a very slight tan to her skin and dark red lipstick. She wore a gold-colored jacket with cheetah fur around the neck and sleeve holes, a red skirt that went just above her knees, and white heel knee high boots.
This was Barbara Minerva, though most people in the school called her Barbi.
Many of the students looked at her and her car in awe and she basically basked in the looks, "Ah, a new day in my kingdom" Barbi said to herself in a british accent, she loved the attention and had earned it all as she locked her car before walking, however before she could make it a few steps to the schools stairs, another car engine was heard, even louder than hers was, she turned her attention to the sound and was surprised with what she saw.
Rolling into the car park, right next to hers was a 2009 Green and black striped Dodge challenger, it was impressively well kept for an old model and the car itself was impressive, then coming out of the car was Izuku as Barbi only knew him as the japanese exchange student, she didn't expect the shy and small looking boy to have such an impressive vehicle.
As Izuku climbed out of his car many of the students couldn't help but admire his car and make comments about how rich he must be to have such an awesome car, not knowing of the money he was given graciously by his other school.
Barbi scowled at this, not liking when someone took her popularity, especially someone who seemed to be an exact opposite of her.
However she didn't have time to be angry at our hero as she went inside the school building, ready to show she was the Queen of the school and nobody would take her crown.
Soon came her first period which was Gymnastics, Barbi was well known for her gymnastic skills as she took pride in it, she had practically shown she was the peak of gymnastic skills compared to her gym team.
The gymnastics uniform she wore was a mix of blue, white and orange that showed off her figure, specifically her curvy hips and thighs as she was gifted with the term, "Dem legs".
As she was on the final test for her tryouts as captain which was a springboard vaut, she ran with immense speed before leaping onto the springboard before she was launched into the air, she proceeded to vault perfectly before landing on her feet, even whipping her hair back for dramatic effect.
The other girls cheered for her as one girl even brought her a towel to wipe off, "If you keep vaulting like that, we might even win gold this year!".
"Well, it wasn't me who fell off the uneven bars" Barbi stated to said girl who frowns sadly at that comment.
"Nice work Barbi, maybe your cleanest vault yet" said the coach as she approached the group of girls.
"Good, then if its settle and I'm captain again, let's get one thing clear" Barbi said as she was about to make her demands.
"Hang on, I think there's one more girl…Diana Prince" the coach said as she checked her clipboard, to which Barbi groaned and rolled her eyes.
"Ugh, the new girl" Barbi said with disdain, she already didn't like the new student that was Diana for a few reasons, 1, she got many of the boys attention in the school, 2, she had shown skills before in some classes in the past few weeks and finally 3, she was taller than her…what? Like you wouldn't have it against someone who was taller than you but in the same school year as you.
Diana was seen at the start of the vault track in a runners position whilst praying to the gods she knew.
"Lift me boreas, let your wintery breath keep me aloft" Diana whispered.
"Prince!" called the coach as Diana saw they were waiting for her, before she took a deep breath and instantly ran, showing her speed was matching Barbi's before she leapt onto and off the springboard, performing a better vault that Barbi which definitely impressed the rest of the team and even the coach, but greatly angering Barbi.
"Maybe we should have co-captains this year" the coach said in amazement.
"What?! Absolutely not!" Barbi denied.
"Okay" Said the coach as Barbi thought she was still the captain, before the coach continued, "Congratulations Prince, your the new team captain!".
Barbi's anger only grew as she hatred for Diana Prince became much bigger.
Next came the 2nd period, which was AP Calculus as the rich girl had finished her test and was checking her makeup with an expensive looking compact mirror as the teacher handed over her test results, "Nice job Barbi, not too often you see a hundred percent in AP Calculus".
Barbi smiled smugly, however it was quickly dismissed when the teacher continued, "Is what I would be saying if it weren't for Diana and Izuku here! Both with a hundred and two percent!" to which Diana and Izuku accepted the praise with different reactions, Diana with pride and Izuku with embarrassment as the japanese student was still not used to praise in school.
This result however angered Barbi as she practically crushed her compact mirror, her hatred for Diana grew more, but it seemed her hatred for the japanese exchange student was starting to rise in the same tier.
Soon it was the next period which was PE, as many of the students wore a standard uniform of white shirts and blue shorts which was gender neutral so there was no ogling from either gender.
The students were currently doing track running as Barbir had showed her superior speed amongst the other students.
"Great as Always Barbi, you might have even broke your previous record in my class" said the teacher who was a pretty buff looking man as he checked the stopwatch he was using.
"Like there was any doubt" Barbi said as she drank some water from a gold and silver bottle she owned.
"Next up is Izuku Midoriya" called the teacher as Izuku got into position, Barbi didn't think the new boy would be able to do anything, but she soon noticed the japanese boys arms and legs were much more muscled than she expected a shy and nerdy boy like him should be.
"And, go!" as soon as the teacher said, Izuku sped off, surprising everyone as he basically blitzed down the track, way faster than Barbi did as he ran, before completing the track in even shorter time than Barbi did.
"Well I'll be! Looks like we got a future olympian over here!" said the man as many of the students thought Izuku was definitely Olympics material, which just pissed Barbi off even more.
After many more lessons and lunch it was soon the end of the day, Barbi was sure none of the girl students she "befriended" could resist a party at her home, especially with a pool.
"Hey everyone! Pool party at my house!" she exclaimed from her car.
"Sorry Barbi, but we're gonna help decorate for the dance with Diana" one of the girls said
"Join us, there will be comradery and merriment" Diana said as she held some posters.
"Diana's the best at merriment" "And she's gonna show us her sick dance moves"
All the compliments for Diana was becoming nothing but noise to Barbi as she was slowly losing her temper, before she finally exploded with rage as she let out the mother of all screams.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!" She pressed the pedal hard as she zoomed off away from the school, screaming all the way in rage, she kept up her screaming all the way home as she kicked the mansion doors open, scaring the staff inside as they knew of her starch already as she finally made it to where she wanted to go, a door that lead to her fathers study, however the door had a warning showing only he was allowed entry and no one else.
"Nice try daddy" Barbi said before she kicked the door open, most likely breaking the lock in the process, she was glad her leg strength was much above the average human her age as she walked inside, seeing many treasures and hunting trophies like pelts and stuffed animal heads her father had earned in his career as she went to a nearby shelf that held many artefacts and looked for one she wanted to use for her revenge.
"Too quick" she said as she saw a bottle of liquid with a skull and crossbones on the glass, "Too Humane" she passed a oddly shaped dagger, "Too Humorous" she passed on a tiki head from a gift shop she get on a vacation some time ago, it had fabric hair and googly eyes on it she stuck on with glue when she was 7, small part of her was touched her father put it with the priceless artefacts he collected.
"Too ancient" she passed on a circular stone with lines forming some kind of pattern before she found the right one to choose, it was a small golden statue of a feline creature with emeralds for eyes as it sat on a small pillow.
"Diana Prince, little miss perfect, well I've got the perfect curse for the perfect girl!" Barbi said as she grabbed the statue before she started chanting the curse that the statue held.
"Woe to she in Cheetah's path, for she shall feel the Cheetahs wrath, by claw and fang, with spite and hate, swift as wind she'll seal your fate!" she chanted as she held the statue up high, but after a few seconds nothing happened, which led Barbi to shake it around furiously before she gave it, thinking the curse didn't work as she dropped the statue on the floor.
"Useless thing!" she muttered as she left and slammed the doors shut, not noticing the green emerald eyes of the statue glowed in the dark.
Later on when night had come, Barbi laid in her queen sized bed asleep, however she started tossing and turning in the bed, groaning in discomfort as she grew more uncomfortable for some reason, before she ended up falling to the ground and gripping her duvet, which ended up getting shredded due to her nails suddenly turning sharp.
The moonlight showed her shadow on the wall as she got up, only to groan more and louder as her body grew slightly, even showing her silhouette growing a long tail, her hands flexed to reveal they turned to claws before she let out a animalistic roar, her mouth now filled with large fangs.
The next day it was a gloomy day as the forecast had shown it was going to be raining later on in the day, our group of heroes were seen walking to the schools entrance, talking about the upcoming school dance.
"It is with great excitement I anticipate sharing what the decorating committee has done!" Diana said excitedly.
"And it is with great excitement, I anticipate the dance!" Barbara exclaimed
"But I don't know how to dance" Karen said nervously.
"I-I don't either" Izuku muttered, remembering back when Mina had told him so, quite bluntly in fact.
"Fear not young Karen and my champion, for I possess dance moves that are rich with fleek, your are welcome to study them" Diana said as she showed of her own dance moves, which made Izuku a bit nervous that she might not have moves that would be considered "cool" amongst the student body.
"~Oh yeah, oh yeah! We're gonna tear it up on Friday night!" Barbrar said as she danced her way into the school, only to gasp as the others walked on, surprised to see many of the decorations and even some lockers had been torn to shreds, slash marks practically destroying every bit of decorations.
"Looks like somebody already tore it up" Kara punned as Jess was the only one to deadpan at this, the others still surprised by the destroyed decor.
"That isn't funny Kara" Jess said.
"Instead of cutting a rug, they cut the posters" Kara continued.
"No, I mean, it's literally not funny" Jess said back, already not liking what Kara was doing, meanwhile Diana, Izuku and Barbara inspected the damage.
""Maybe…maybe the dance shouldn't have booked a band that shreds so hard!"
"Kara!"
As Izuku inspected a slashed poster, he turned to see another slash on one of the lockers, to which Barbar instantly stood beside him.
"You notice it too?" Barbara asked.
"If you mean the slash marks on the lockers looking like they went through instantly with no sight of struggle then yes, whatever did this is really strong, maybe a meta…" Izuku muttered as he got used to calling some quirked people in the US Meta's, trying to think what could have done this damage.
Later on Diana went to go attend her gymnastic period, she was in the ladies locker room when she heard something run past, she turned to see nothing, she was cautious however as she grabbed her gym uniform, however when she closed the locker, a slash mark was now on it as she gasped in panic, before she felt the presence again and turned, only to see nothing, before she turned once more, which then the thing that was stalking her had pounced towards her.
Outside the locker room, the rest of the team was helping put the ruined decorations in trash bags.
"Guys we better hurry before people think they've slashed the ticket prices" Kara continued with her puns as Jess was very much not liking them.
"Kara" Jess face palmed before they heard Diana yell, quickly the team dropped the bags and ran into the locker room before seeing Diana on the ground, dazed and her clothes having multiple slash marks.
"Diana!" Izuku exclaimed as he ran over and helped her up.
"What happened?! Who did this to you?" Jess asked.
"I-I don't know, something knocked into me, it came from nowhere" Diana said.
"Well you look somewhat ok, ruined clothes aside" Izuku said.
"My my, willing to enter the ladies room to help Diana, very risky cutie" Zee said, to which Izuku blushed immensely, he didn't even register he was in the ladies changing rooms until now.
"I-I'll just go-" Izuku was about to leave but Diana grabbed his shoulder to prevent him so, "O-Or not".
"Wait, thats it!" Barbara suddenly exclaims.
"Whats it?" Kara asked.
"Don't you see? Clearly, someone is suffering from having their status quo upended by Diana's arrival in Metropolis, and their crippling insecurity most likely caused by absentee parenting and a lack of proper modeling in childhood has unleashed a horrible ancient curse that has manifested in the form of some weird cat beast thats now stalking the perceived enemy which is Diana!" Barbara explained in her usual fast and hyperactive speech which confused a majority of the group.
"Sh-She means there's a monster on the loose" Izuku said, simplifying her explanation.
"Then we have to get you somewhere safe" Jess said to Diana.
"It ain't Diana that needs protecting" Kara said as she punched her fist into her palm.
"Whatever it is could be perilous to everyone here, we must find a way to evacuate our fellow students without causing them distress" Diana said, only for the fire alarm of the school to go off, which the group turned to see Kara had pulled the schools fire alarm, which made pretty much every student and teacher in the school evacuate the building immediately.
"What happened to "no distress?"" Jess asked Kara sarcastically.
"It worked didn't it?" Kara said
"Come friends, let the hunt begin!" Diana stated as they each changed into their hero outfits in the changing room, Izuku had obviously went to a more private area in the room to change, embarrassed he had to change outfits with girls present.
After they all had changed into their hero outfits, they exit the changing room, however just as they did they were surprised to see Principal Waller standing outside.
"I suppose you caused the alarm?" she asked in a serious tone.
"We didn't have much choice Waller-Sensei, we might be dealing with a monster or a monstrous meta-" before Deku could finish his sentence, the power of the school was suddenly gone, the lights disappearing from the school.
Principal Waller checked her phone as she received a message about what just happened, "The main power generator was just taken down, and the backup generators aren't responding" she sighed in annoyance before looking the the heroes, "I'll make a fake report on a gas leak so it will keep everyone away, you deal with whatever has caused this blackout, try not to destroy the school in the process" she said before walking away, while also bringing out a gun from a secret holster on her person.
"This beast must be trying to confuse us, let us split ourselves" Wonder Woman commanded.
"You mean split up?" Supergirl asked.
"Yes, that!"
"W-Wait, wouldn't splitting up be a bad thing in this situation?" Deku asked worryingly.
"Pfft, don't worry, it's not like any of those horror movie cliches where each person in the group gets picked off one by one" Batgirl pointed out.
Soon each member of the team had split up to find whatever the monster Batgirl claimed it was, Jessica had taken the library as she created a construct of a candle, slowly walking around to find the beast, she peered down a lane of bookshelves, but seeing the candle wasn't giving a proper view of light, she changed it to a flashlight as she explored further, as she explored she suddenly heard
"Meow"
She gasped, only to relax at what the sound was, "Oh, thank goodness, its only a cat" she said in relief as she looked for this cat, "Come on out kitty-kitty" she called out before hearing the meow again, changing the flashlight to a full on lantern to get a better view, only to see nothing before she heard a growl, turning quick, only to get attack by something blitzing at her with incredible speed, taking her down as her construct shattered.
In the hallways of the school, Batgirl was wandering around with gadgets attached to her person, 3 tablet screens and a helmet with goggles on as she was monitoring her teams locations, each symbol showing a specific person, a magical looking Z for Zatanna, the House of El S symbol for Supergirl, a purple bat for herself, a honeycomb pattern for Bumblebee, a golden W with wings for Wonder Woman, Deku's mask for, well Deku and the Green Lantern corps logo for Jess, however as Batgirl monitored, she saw Green Lanterns logo disappears after a red dot had gotten to it.
"Thats weird" she commented before noticing the red dot was no closing in on her position, gaining a scared look as she turned to the direction the dot was coming from, only to see nothing, she immediately pulled out one of her batarangs to protect herself as she backed up slowly, looking to her tablet she saw the red dot was on right on top of her, while accidentally stepping on one of the leftover destroyed posters, which scared her.
"GYAH!" She screamed out, only to notice what she stepped on, slightly confused before she heard a growl from behind her, "Oh I was so wrong" she said in fear, already regretting about what she said to Deku earlier about it not being like a horror movie before she was tackled from behind, making her drop her tablet as she screamed, the dot on the dropped tablet soon leaving as Batgirls logo disappeared.
Meanwhile in the cafeteria, Zatanna was floating around nervously, as she was scared to fight this creature, she soon heard a low growl as she gasped, now more on edge as she looked around in terror, slowly floating backwards, she heard the growl behind her as she fired a beam in the air, only to hit nothing, before she heard a roar now, turning, she saw the beast in the shadows, throwing chairs and tables aside to get to her
"AAH!" She screamed as she fired beam after beam of magic wildly, missing as she was too scared to accurately hit the beast as it get closer and closer, losing herself in terror as she quickly fled, flying out of the cafeteria.
With Supergirl, she had just entered Principal Wallers office as she looked around for the beast before hearing the door suddenly open and close.
"Forget it whatever you are, I have infrared vision suckah" she commented as she switch to her infrared vision, seeing things normal people couldn't such as the hidden cache of weapons in the office, almost everywhere which put the kryptonian girl off a bit, wondering why the scary as hell principal needed so many weapons in her office, before she briefly saw the heat of the beast, which quickly fled from her sight, blitzing around the office to escape her.
"You think your fast? Well I'm faster creep!" She exclaimed before blitzing after the speedy creature, flying right out the office and after the beast.
As the creature fled, Zatanna came around the corner and blasted her magic, however the magic had hit Supergirl midflight, causing the girl of steel to freeze and fall to the ground, stuck in her flight pose.
Zatanna, who had her eyes closer when she fired, opened them only to see her mistake and winced, "Oh…oops" Zatanna said, realising her mistake before she heard the growling again and saw the beast walking towards her, claws at the ready as Zatanna couldn't move, too scared to even budge before the beast took a swipe at her, making her scream as thunder and lightning blasted outside the school.
Bumblebee, who was nearby in another hall, heard the magic girls scream and couldn't help but be more scared, "Z-Zatanna?" she asked before peering down a corner, only to see the beasts green glowing eyes in the shadows, lighting briefly showing its animalistic form before she quickly hid by the corner, Bumblebee was terrified before she shrunk down to her small size and flew into the gymnasium to hide.
Meanwhile, Deku had come running into the hall Zatanna and Supergirl was and saw the magic girl knocked out and Kara still frozen.
"Supergirl! Zatanna!" he exclaimed as he checked on them both, seeing Kara frozen made him realise she must've gotten hit by a magic blast before he knelt down and tried to wake up Zatanna, "Come on Zee-san, wake up" he said as he shook her.
Zee woke up in a daze as she held her head, her outfit torn slightly, "Ugh, this is not going well" she commented.
"What happened?" Deku asked.
"The monster, I-I was looking for it when I thought it was coming, only I blasted Kara instead" she said looking to the frozen Kryptonian, "Then the monster appeared and attacked me".
Deku pondered before he came to a conclusion, "Sounds to me its hunting, like a predator with its prey" Deku said before he got up, "I'll try and find the others, you stay put with Supergirl, I'll call in if I need backup" Deku said before rushing off to find the rest of his team mates.
Back in the gymnasium, Bumblebee was hiding behind a climbing wall as she peered through the planks, seeing the beast prowling around, searching for her, "Oh no" she whispered in fright before she she tried taking a few deep breathes to regain her composure.
"Okay, okay, okay" she said to herself as she activated her stinger weapons, "Hero Time!" she said before flying out, screaming while firing off her stingers at her target, however after she stopped she realising she was right in the beast's face as the stingers did nothing but irritate it, she was once again terrified before she let out a scream as the beast went to bite at her.
Both Wonder Woman and Deku heard Bumblebee's scream from their own locations in the school.
"Bumblebee!" they exclaimed before they made their way to the gym, with Deku activating his watch.
"XLR8's speed will get me there faster!" he said before slamming the watch's core down and getting consumed in green light.
With Wonder Woman, she charged into the gymnasium and got into a battle stance, "Get away from her you-" however she paused her sentence as she saw the beasts form in the light, it was an anthropomorphic cheetah, with a feminine body shape, shown by the obvious curves of the hips and chest size, she also had more human hands with sharp claws while having digitigrade legs like a normal cheetah, her eyes glowed green in an unnatural way as she glared at Wonder Woman with hate whilst holding an injured Bumblebee in her mouth.
"Cheetah?" Wonder Woman finished in confusion.
The Cheetah growled before spitting Bumblebee out and into a corner, Wonder Woman braced herself as the Cheetah blitzed towards her and started to throw powerful claw swipes at the amazon, Wonder Woman used her braces to block the attacks but noticed each claw swipe pushed her back, she couldn't break her stance as the Cheetah pressed on more with more swipes and even spinning with claw swipes to push the amazon in the a wall, the Cheetah leapt back before leaping into the air, Diana blocked her face with her braces as the Cheetah landed on her arms, not using her clawed feet to slash at the braces before Wonder Woman pushed the animal woman off her, which led to Cheetah using her claws on the ground to keep a stance, leaving claw marks in the wooden floor.
Before either could move however, the doors to the gymnasium were kicked open, as Deku had ran in, only he wasn't XLR8.
"RAAAATTH!" He exclaimed
"Oh that is not good!" Wonder Woman winced while Cheetah looked at Rath with confusion but also, intrigue.
Rath made eye contact with Wonder Woman and marched over to her, "Lemme tell ya something Wonder Woman! Rath is here to bring the pain on the monster of the school, so show Rath where the punching needs to happen!" he demanded.
"The Cheetah and I have already begun combat" Wonder Woman said while glaring at said beast, as Rath looked to where she was looking and saw Cheetah, who was still looking at Rath with intrigue.
"Well, alright then" Rath said before he pointed towards Cheetah, "Lemme tell ya something Cheetah! Monster of the school that started hunting down my friends! You ain't the top cat of this jungle! Cause Rath is the only top cat here! I'll punch ya so hard those spots will go flying off and I'll stitch them back on! Only to punch them off again!" he threatened, which confused Wonder Woman.
"That…does not make sense" she said to which Rath growled in annoyance.
"I KNOW!" he yelled before he charged at Cheetah, who instantly blitzed to the side to avoid getting a clawed punch thrown at her before leaping onto the appoplexian's back in an attempt to slash at him, only to notice any claw swipes she let loose on him didn't deter him, in fact it just made him even more pissed.
"HA! You wanna see claws?!" Rath exclaimed as he grabbed Cheetah off his back and threw her to the ground before he extended his large knuckle claw and pointed them at Cheetah, "These are claws!" he said as he swiped at her with his claws, only for Cheetah to dodge each swipe, only to get kicked in the side by Wonder Woman who took her chance to attack.
"Hey! This is my fight Wonder Woman! Butt out of it!" Rath exclaimed.
"Listen Rath, if we are to defeat this beast we must work together, focus on the mission!" Wonder Woman commanded as Rath shook his head with an annoyed growl.
"Right, fine, but Rath is getting the final blow!" Rath said before Cheetah lept at his face and even jumped off his face towards Wonder Woman, who blocked a slash with her braces, Rath fell backwards due to the sheer power of the Cheetahs jump.
"Hey no fair! Rath wasn't ready!" Rath exclaimed as he got up and saw Cheetah had went for another attack, but Wonder Woman dodged and leapt up, using some acrobatic rings in the air to swing around, dodging each of Cheetahs attack which gave Rath an idea as she noticed some of the other gym equipment lying around, "Rath's got an idea!" he said to himself.
Wonder Woman dodged another attack while using her acrobatic skills before letting go of the rings and landed on the ground, soon both her and the Cheetah had begun attacking eachother as each dodged or tanked a hit from the other before Cheetah dodged again, only for Wonder Woman to grab her tail, however this didn't deter the wild cat as she started running, dragging Wonder Woman along, hoping to make the amazon lose her grip as Wonder Woman had to endure being hit by nearby left out gymnastics equipment, however as Cheetah turned back to see if Diana had let go, she didn't see Rath running in front of her, holding a large landing mat with ease.
"EAT LANDING MAT KITTY KITTY!" Rath exclaimed as Cheetah didn't have time to dodge before Rath swung the mat, hitting Cheetah as she was thrown into a wall, which Wonder Woman finally let go and rolled along the floor, however as Cheetah slid to the ground she panted after running so long and didn't seemed that injured, as she glared at Wonder Woman and Rath who glared at her back.
"This beast must be dealt with now!" Wonder Woman exclaimed
"Then do it fast! Rath wants the final blow already!" Rath complained.
Deciding now was the time to end this, Diana saw two springboards in front of her and the Cheetah, she instantly charged towards it with the Cheetah doing the same, as both used the springboards to launch into the air and attack each other in midair.
Wonder Woman then landed on her feet much like she did in her gymnastics class the other day, while Cheetah crashed down face first, the best quickly got up and tried to get another attack in, only for Rath to grab her by the scruff of her neck as he brough her to his face, growling at the beast.
"My turn bottom cat!" Rath said with a growl before he threw her into the air and, with enough focus to summon OFA, orange lighting bounced off his body as he leapt into the air with a leg pulled back.
"5%...SIRIUS BUTT KICKING!" Rath exclaimed as he then kicked the Cheetah, to which she was shot right into the girls locker room that connected to the gymnasium as a crash was heard and dust flooded out of the locker room.
As Rath landed on the ground, the watch's symbol flashed red before he was absorbed in red light and transformed back to Deku.
"H-Hey, I think I'm already getting the hang of Rath" Deku said as he went over to Wonder Woman, "Are you ok?" he asked.
"I am fine my champion" Wonder Woman said before they heard something from the locker room, to which they quickly ran over to investigate and make sure the Cheetah was down for good.
When the two entered they couldn't find the Cheetah,however what they did find was Barbi, who looked to have been attack as she laid on the ground, seemingly in pain, Wonder Woman was quick to change clothes as she changed to her civilian identity and ran to Barbi.
"Barbi! Are you alright?!" Diana asked as she and Deku, who remained in his hero outfit, helped Barbi off the floor.
"D-Diana? S-Stay way! The monster-" Barbi said before being cut off by Deku.
"Don't worry, me and Wonder Woman made sure it knows who its messing with, Wonder Woman is scouting the perimeter for it now" Deku explained.
"The Cheetah is gone Barbi, your safe now" Diana said to Barbi to calm her down as she seemed very rattled.
"Oh Diana, this is my fault" Barbi said.
"What do you mean?" Deku asked with confusion.
"I-I released the Cheetah" Barbi admitted, shocking and surprising the two heroes.
"You? Why?" Diana asked.
"Because, I was jealous of you, you and Midoriya, you both were becoming so popular and I just felt so, so angry" Barbi said sadly.
"You needn't be, one person's success does not preclude another's, jealousy is a green-eyed monster that will consume you if you do not let it go" Diana said as Barbi looked down in sadness.
"Your right Diana, I'm sorry" Barbi said as she felt a hand rest on her shoulder, she looked up to see it was Deku's hand.
"All that matters now that you are safe, we'll track down the Cheetah and make sure it doesn't hurt anyone else" Deku said in confidence as Barbi gained a light blush on her face before a clattering was heard outside the locker room.
"The Cheetah!" Diana gasped/
"Go Diana, I'm fine just go!" Barbi said as Diana ran off.
Barbi looked to Deku who was unsure of leaving her by herself.
"Why aren't you going?" she asked as Deku reached into a pocket on his red belt and pulled out some bandaids and bandages.
"I'm just making sure those injuries of yours aren't anything to worry about, now hold still please" Deku asked as he placed some of the bandaids on any scratches on her person and put some bandages around her forearm and head, all the while Barbi couldn't help but blush from how close the hero was, as she got a view of the outfit highlighting some muscle, "There, you should leave them on until the end of the day, there is no serious injuries but you should try to not push yourself, ok?" Deku asked.
"O-Ok" Barbi said, recomposing herself as Deku nods before leaving to see if Diana had found the cheetah.
Deku ran out the locker room to find The team all in the gymnasium, with Batgirl and Zatanna carrying the frozen Supergirl and Green Lantern helping Bumblebee stand.
"Will Supergirl be ok?" Deku asked.
"She'll be fine…in about seven hours" Zatanna said.
"What about the monster?" Batgirl asked.
"Cheetah has escaped, for now, but surely we will face her another day" Wonder Woman declared.
"It might be a while, something tells me Rath put Cheetah out of commission for a good while anyway" Deku admitted.
"Wait, you used Rath? In here?!" Green Lantern asked.
"Indeed he did, but he did remain in control…mostly" Wonder Woman said and Deku gave a nervous chuckle in response.
Back in the locker room, Barbi had forced herself on her feet and up to a nearby sink as she washed her face of any dirt and dust.
"Let go of the green-eyed monster, eh Diana?" she said to herself as some mascara ran down her face, mimicking stripe patterns, "And why would I ever want to let go of this?!" she said as her eyes changed to the same as the Cheetah's, revealing she was indeed the same monster that attacked the heroes.
"I'll get my revenge on you and the rest of those heroes! Including that Deku and his tiger form, then we'll see who is "Top Cat" in this jungle!" she said maliciously before she started to laugh maniacally revealing her now sharpened fangs, for she now had plans for revenge with her new powers.
And there was have it! Phew, man this chapter took longer than I wanted it to, I wanted the rest of Deku's playlist to be showcased much sooner than later so sorry it took so long! But now I can finally work on my other stories, including a new one thats a collaboration with my buddy Blackskull-Universe, but you'll have to wait on that one my dear viewers, for now though I do hope you enjoyed this chapter
