~Arabella's POV~

I walked into the dojo with Kim, and she was forced me to do this stupid cotillion which I don't want to go to. I saw Jack climbing the thing that Rudy always hangs his socks on. He climbed down and noticed us.

"Oh hey, Belle. Check out the new pegboard. It is a great upper body workout."

"Oh, so that's what that thing's for. Rudy's been drying his sweaty socks on it." I said.

Jack looked at the pegs, "Oh, I knew these pegs smelled feety." Jack started to climbed again.

I looked at Kim who was looking at me, by giving hand gestures to continue.

"So, Jack, you wanna hang out Saturday night?" I asked him.

"Yeah, sure. What do you wanna do?" Jack answered as he climbed higher and higher up the wall.

"Oh, I don't know. Uh... Hey, maybe we can swing by the riverside country club For the swan's court cotillion ball or something." I told him as I said this Jack fall off the pegs.

"Jack, are you okay?" I asked him and helping him up.

"Oh. Yeah.Yeah, I'm fine." Jack told me,

"But I am not going to any ball."he turned me down and I went to go walk away but Kim pushed me back.

"I hate tuxedos. I can't dance. Oh, and one more thing-- I am a dude. Dudes don't do cotillions." Jack said.

"I'm being honest I don't want to go, but I'm being forced to this stupid cotillion." I told him.

"They probably don't have anything to do this Saturday." Jack said and we turned to see Milton and Jerry enter the room.

"Actually we got roped into going to the swan's court cotillion." Milton explained.

"What really?" I turned to Jack, "Dudes can go to the cotillion?" I simplified as Jack rolled his eyes and started to climb the peg board again.

"My mom's making me take her boss's dorky daughter." Milton told us.

"And I'm taking her dorkier friend." Jerry added with same unenthusiastic tone as Milton spoke in.

"Why are you going?" I asked Jerry.

"Because milton's giving me 60 bucks and letting me watch his turtles go at it." Jerry explained with a victorious smile.

Rudy walked out of his office and noticed Jack up on the peg board, "Ah, jack, glad you're up there." He said, "The old swamp foot's kicking up something fierce. Hang this pair of socks up to dry for me, would ya?"

Rudy tossed the socks at Jack, "Ugh, they're all wet!"

"It's just a pair of socks, dude. Man up." Jerry was cut off by the socks falling into his mouth. He screamed but quickly stopped and tasted the socks. "It's actually kind of nice."

"Ew, Jerry."

Don't you get all tough with me, I'm saying won't you come kick it with me? and we can have a ball, run up the wall, this is how we do, and no matter how much, I chop and punch, it's not as cool as kickin' it with you.

I was in line for lunch and I bumped into Frank, I sighed in disbelief, "Frank, what do you want?" I asked him.

"We just wanted to let you know, Bella, We haven't forgotten how you and Kim disrespected us when you two walked out on the Black Dragons.You know what they say about payback." Frank said as he punched his food.

"You know you just punched your meat loaf, right?" I said to him, as I went to go sit with the guys but Kim pulled me to a different table and sat down. "What are you doing?"

"If you go and sit with Jack then it'll show him that you don't care that he's not going to the cotillion with you." she pointed to Jack who was starting to walk over.

"But I don't really care about it." I told her as Jack sat down.

"Hey, Belle. Snagged the last piece of red velvet cake for you." he pushed it towards me. Yes, I love red velvet. I went to take it but Kim pushed it away.

"She'll just take the apple" Kim told him snarky. I looked at her with a disappointed look, "Do not get in between me and cake." As I take the cake back, "Well, red velvet cake, you are going inside my belly!" As I proceeded to eat the cake.

Jack sighed and looked at me, "I know you're mad about the cotillion, But trust me, you do not want me there. My manners are horrible." He tied to explain.

I looked at him, "Listen, you are my boyfriend, and I want you there for me, even if I'm forced to go to this stupid cotillion."

Just on queue, this guy that Kim asked to be my date for the cotillion, "Hey, Bella." He said, "Sup, brochacho?" he sat down. I gave him a small wave.

"I'm sorry. Who are you and what's a brochacho?" Jack asked looking jealous.

"Oh this is the guy who asked Bella to the dance when you, you know, didn't." Kim spat.

"But she's my girlfriend!" Jack said to her.

I placed a hand on his arm, "That I am, but relax we are just going as friends. So, uh, I'm sorry what's your name again?" I asked him.

"Brody." he told me.

"Oh, his name's Brody. Ooh, I like that. don't you think so Bella." Kim asked me.

I give Kim a disbelief look on my face, "I guess." I said in a monotone tone.

"So, uh, Brody, you're taking Kim to the cotillion?" Jack asked.

"Yeah, kinda like putting on a tuxedo And dancing the night away with my favorite lady." Brody stood up and put a hand on my chair. I rolled my eyes and just sighed at this.

Jack scoffed, "You've been here for three seconds. How is she your favorite lady?"

"Hush, Jack, He said she's his favorite lady." Kim exclaimed. I sighed again at this turn of events. "Come on, Bella." Kim stood up to motion me and Brody to follow her.

"Bye Jack, see you later." I gave him a kiss on his cheek before I followed Kim.

Brody and I were dancing around the dojo and Kim was watching us. "Whoa whoa." Jack said before stopping the music. "What's going on in here?"

"Uh, we're practicing our dancing for the cotillion." I told him calmly.

"Yeah, not in here you're not.This is a dojo, brochacho." Jack told us, "You ever been in a karate dojo before, Brody?" As Brody and I away from each other.

"Actually, this is my first time in a dojo." Brody said sassily as my phone buzzed, I show Kim text me, "Kim wants me to come try on dresses for the cotillion with her mom and mine as well." I walked over to Jack "You need to relax, I'm your girlfriend he's just escorting me." I told him.

"Okay bye." Jack said to me, kissed me.

"Later Brody." I said peace signed at him and walked out the dojo.

The night of the cotillion, I was wearing a purple lace short dress with silver ankle strap heels. I was dancing with Brody and it felt weird because he wasn't Jack.

"Bella, I'm having the best time." Brody said to me.

"Me too." I answered and looking for Kim, "thanks for taking here."

"And it's going to get even better." Brody continued, "Somebody nominated us for king and queen of the swan court."

"That's crazy." I said while I found Kim and she thumb up to him. " But there's a lot of Black Dragons here And I don't think they're gonna vote for me."

"I don't know. I think we got a shot." Brody said confidently and then the music change and I left out a sigh knowing what will happen.

"Oh yeah, this is my jam." Kim shouted in excitement, and she does her signature dances while everyone watch in shocked by her dance moves.

"What is she doing?" Brody whispered to me.

I sighed, "Let her moment." I said with a fond smile.

"This is it!" Kim cheered in excitement while we were waiting for the announcement.

"Why are you so excited?" I asked her.

"Because you can be the Swan Queen." Kim answered, "I'm being supportive."

"Thanks." I said.

"This year's king and queen of the swan's court are..." Lady announces, "Brody and Arabella."

"I can't believe it!" I said excited as I walked onto the stage. As I stood on stage the lady gave me a scepter.

"And now for the presentation of the crowns by our grand swan." The lady aid while pointing at a large swan float that rolled into the room with the crowns.

"It's the swan!" I heard someone shout and watched as Jack jumped in front of me as some brown liquid squirted all over us.

"Jack." I said looking at him in confusion, "What just happened?"

"Belle." Jack said standing up, "Brody's a Black Dragon. He set you up."

"Excuse me?" I said while I looked at Brody with a disappointed look on my face.

"No. Arabella, I had no idea. I--" Brody said as another round of gravy was sludge was on me and ruined my dress.

"Oh oh, you look horrible." The hostess said to me. As the swan squirted her this time and she fainted.

Frank jumped out of the swan and walked up on the stage, "Looks like we've got you outnumbered seven to two." Frank said smugly.

"Three." Jerry joined in.

"Four." Milton walked over.

"Five." Kim followed as well.

"Six." Brody said changing sides.

"You just made a big mistake." Frank sneered and then he tried to punch Brody who easily caught it and kicked him off the stage.

We all scattered across the room while fighting the Black Dragons. I used my scepter to fight one of them and managed to knock him off the stage. "Wow, I got to get one of those."

After we took down all of our opponents Jack came up behind me and we watched Frank get whatever was inside of that swan all over his face. "Looks like the Black Dragons messed with the wrong swan queen." Jack said.

"Guys, I'm sorry. I guess I was kind of a jerk, huh?" Brody said while frowning.

"Yeah, you kinda were." Jack spat. I tagged his arm and smile at him. He sighed, " But you did come through in the end." Brody nodded and walked away

"Look at me-- I'm a mess." I said walking over to a table and pulled the chair back.

"I don't know-- I think brown's a good color on you." Jack said to me. I give him a look, "Give me that." Jack take the crown from my head and place it on my head.

"Belle, I'm sorry. None of this would have happened if I had said yes when you asked me to go with you." Jack apologized to me.

I smiled at him, "Well, you're here now." I softly patted his cheek, "I just got one question: Where did you get that tux?"

"Oh, Rudy lent it to me. I don't know-- I kinda like it." He spread out his arms and Flowers appeared in his hands.

"Where did those flowers just come from?" I asked him.

"I have no idea." He answered before handing them to me. I looked over to the crown that was on the floor.

"Well, Brody won't be needing this anymore." I stood up from my seat and pick up the crown and place it on Jack's head.

"Here's something I never thought I'd say-- You wanna dance?" Jack asked me.

"Sure." I said as we walked over to the dance floor and Jack placed a hand on my waist and the other on my hand and then the music changed.

"Oh yeah! Finally something I can move to." Kim shouted before literally taking the dance floor, "Now this is my jam."

"Wow, go queen!" I said and joined her as everyone joined in.
